Worst rotis and paneer was old not good in taste smelly and really really bad tawaa rotis
Disappointing visit. Discovered expired food on the menu at this Indian restaurant, which completely ruined the dining experience. Not only is it unacceptable to serve expired food, but it also raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety standards. Would strongly advise avoiding this establishment until they address these issues. A one-star rating is generous considering the risk posed to diners' health.
I love everything about this place however my one complaint is they use (like everyone else) vegetable oil which a quick Google search reveals, is quite unhealthy. I learned that there Chana masala does not include vegetable oil or sugar. So now I frequent this place for their Chana masala. Overall the prices are very low in my opinion. Aside from the vegetable oil this place is 5 star eating. Chana masala is great.
I visited Urban Dhaba twice, and both times I had a very bad experience. Today I ordered a thali for $10.99, which came with biryani and other curries in a thali that smelled so bad. After one bite of biryani, I vomited. It was smelling so bad i couldn’t even finish my dinner I had to threw it .All the food tasted like garbage. It’s not recommendable place for food at all . Ver
The best samosa place. Must try 😋 Fresh vegetables and fruits. Spices and grocery items. The price is right. They three branches. Burlington, Stoney Creek and Hamilton mountain. They are busy because of excellent staff and high quality of food items. No need to go to Mississauga or Toronto for Indian grocery shopping.
Great, no-nonsense spot attached to a Swadesh, a little Indian grocery store chain. Great prices (was able to get a thali for $8), good portions, seating area is small but quite nice for a quick meal—clean, and simple. The food was good and well-seasoned. Really good for a casual lunch or dinner!
Absolutely amazing experience. The folks at Urban Dhaba (Swadesh) go above and beyond to make sure they provide amazing service, that is only outdone by their swadish (tasty) authentic homemade Gujarati/ Punjabi foods! Not one person left disappointed by their flavors, and everyone raved about this food in the pictures, in addition to another day of food (samosa chaat, bhel puri). I cannot compliment and recommend them enough, do not think twice about eating here, or ordering for your event!!
This is just mind blowing this is my second day for picking up the food the food is really good less spicy simple and better quality and quantity . They don’t serve naan’s but they do have chapati’s now only for dollar .
Quality delicious food
Good Indian store, excellent staff, great food
Great service and delicious food. This place is very clean and highly recommend.
Below average oily food that won t have me back as a returning customer.
Good finger food (samosas/chaat etc) But Pathetic curries - Tried approximately 8-9 times( different curries) , every time the curries tasted mediocre and sometimes tasteless Lassi is good only if one of the ladies make , the two times a guy made it- it tasted bad
Worst place and food its name was tempting to go but its food is worst
Urban Dhaba is a small setting located inside Swadesh super market. the servers are very helpful and nice but honestly food could be better quality a little bit. dine in experience is a few tables inside on the corner.
Not only their staff is nice but their food is good and prices are reasonable. Loved their Idli sambhar and Veg thali. I will definitely visit them again.
It s a grocery store not a restaurant !!! So don t expect fresh food !
Best indian grocery store ever. They have everything you need for an indian household. Very good collection of indian groceries and fresh quality produce. Very friendly atmosphere and amazing customer service. All the team members are very helpful and they make sure that you get all you need and they always greet with a smile. Also you will find freshly milled flour which is their specialty. Last but not the least their restaurant URBAN DHABA serves amazing Indian delicacies and their best one is paneer bhurji. Definitely worth trying and you would not regret going there
Good quality food very tasty and
Well run south asian supermarket with daily prepared tali. Good value.
Very nice place n budget friendly for everything excellent customer service by bhavi and Sanjay and of course the owner Sandeep bhai.
Loved this Indian Grocery store and restaurant here
This place takes so long to make the food and it s not even that big or has many options! So bad!
Excellent food and fast service
The first grocery store I ve seen who serves all community on a genuine price and best quality. One stop for all your needs.
I had catered for 45 people for Satyanarayan puja at my house today , I had ordered no onion no garlic food . The food was delicious and , perfect , not too oily or spicy . Very well packaged and delivered in time . All our friends really loved the food . I would definitely recommend and cater from here in future as well . Staff are very polite and helpful . I had placed my catering order with Bharvi and she was extremely helpful and prompt . Dietary restrictions: No onion no garlic food
Service is good by all but sugarcane juice glass is too small as compared to 6 dollar
Great ambiance with delicious food...l will recommend Urban Dhaba anytime...
Delicious Food, Dont miss Pavbhaji and Biryani. Staff members are very friendly and quick.
Not even close to Bombay chat. No channas. The Chat was made of yogourt, papri and raw mango . I mean who adds raw mangoes in the chat.
Good food, good prices.
Ordered the three types of samosas that they offer along with an order of dabeli. The samosas were cold. The outer layer of one of the samosas was good but didnt enjoy any of the fillings. The dabeli tasted good. The pav was well-buttered and toasted but it didnt have enough peanuts plus there were no pomegranate seeds in the filling or sev on the outside. I might try some other items next time but wont be ordering the samosas again.
Had the 2 curry lunch, served with rice, and it was delicious. The store/restaurant was spotless and the employees very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be back certainly.
Must visit .... Awsome food and all other stuff.
