Probably the best chicken Shawarma s you can find!

This place is an institution. The Montfort Chicken Shawarma is a drug for taste buds. Prices have risen (as other places), so its a bit harder to visit as often, lets hope they level off.

Every time I order the large $25 salad, I get 1/2 a cup of salad dressing. It isn t enough for even 1/4 of the salad. I even put special instructions asking for enough dressing and it s still missed.

Its Montforts. How do I even have to tell you its good. Go there. Right now. Hurry.

This is the best Montfort in the area. The others are ok, but this one is by far the greatest. Always great food, great service and I always try something new which never disappoints. Try the baba ganoush. Un. Real.

A friend and I meet for one or two annual visits to this restaurant. We learned this time to check first parking availability at busy times. It s in a small plaza with limited spots. I didn t see any sign posted not to park in front of other businesses a complaint was left on my windshield. So if you can t park out front, try behind the plaza or elsewhere. Then you can enjoy the hospitality and great food!

Usually when we have gone in the past everything was amazing when we got in we they said we could sit ourselves we sat at the table they brought the menus the girl gave us two glasses of water somebody come back and we ordered our food nobody asked if we wanted something to drink they were very attentive to the other table of people in the room and we just sat at our table being ignored by the staff I had to go to the front counter and ask for takeout containers as we werent enjoying our meal in the restaurant we packed her food up and took it home this is a very disappointing experience !! The best Montfort on the planet! Ive been coming here for 25 years! I drive from Niagara falls to eat at this Burlington location. Love the staff. Never ever disappointed! But its gotta be the location on brant street down towards lakeshore for some reason none of the other locations are as good, trust me weve tried them all lol

Ive been coming to the Burlington Monforts for over 13 years it has NEVER disappointed me amazing food, great staff and love the atmosphere! Open till 4am. You get fast service never have waited and the quality of food is top notch! Great quality and authentic taste! I live in St.Catharines and drive here just for Monforts Chicken Shwarma. I can not rave more about the staff as a whole, the chefs and wait staff are always smiling and happy never encountered an unpleasant staff member. I wish I had pictures to show of my food but the food is too good to wait to take pictures lol I would give a thousand stars if I could. I tell everyone about this place and have brought so many people here who have now made this one of their go to places when they are in Burlington.

Best grilled food in Burlington Ontario

Honestly, I ve slept on this place. Been a couple times here and there, mostly for take out. Was very happy with what I got. But there s something different about sitting in. I usually go after work, around 11pm or later, get a table, have a pint and order some food. It s quiet, servers are great and very friendly, food is amazing , and I mean amazing. I usually get the shawarma and a side of rice , but sometimes switch it up. No matter what you get it s super fresh, hot, and mouth watering deliciousness. Their garlic sauce and hot sauce are by far the best out there, I could drink it ! The cook/chef, not sure but he usually works those late nights on the weekends when I go. He s quick, efficient, clean, and makes some incredible food. Salute to him! If I knew his name I d mention. Highly recommend, and I m on my way now for my end of week late night meal. Always this place !

Absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are always so nice and accommodating and will help with any recommendations. The Montfort chicken pita with the onions and garlic sauce is hard to beat. Takeout is so quick (10-15 mins max) and the food is always fresh. 10/10 recommend.

We had shawarma on a plate. It took them 2 minutes to heat it up and it cost $75 after tip. Never again

Food was delicious. My husband and I went with 2 friends for dinner. One friend ordered the shrimp appetizer which he enjoyed but his entree came immediately afterwards not giving him time to finish his appetizer. Our other friend ordered Shawarma with a side of fries. The fries came with our other friends appetizer not as a side for her entree. Her entree came a few minutes later. My husband and I waited approximately 5 minutes for our entrees (salmon and a shrimp salad). I need an accessible bathroom and was glad when I saw the accessible sign (someone in a wheelchair). Unfortunately, no grab bars. Someone came over to ask about our meal and I questioned why no grab bars and she said I dont know and walked away. Guess she didnt like my question. Will not be going back.

If youre in Burlington you have to try Montfort. The food is amazing, portions are plentiful. Always have leftovers! Its my favourite chicken shawarma by far. Everything is just so tasty and fresh. Can never go wrong here. I get the mixed grill for two and it always feeds at least 3-4. Love this place.

Both the food and service were phenomenal at Montfort! We were served by Sally, she was incredible and definitely went above and beyond with her service. The pita was soft and fresh, all the sauces were packed with flavour, the meats were tender and just perfect! Falafels are crispy on the outside and soft on in the inside! Cant wait to come back!

My two other friends and myself went to this restaurant after wanting to try something new for food. Needless to say by this review, the experience was very pleasant! The menu was very ready to read through as they had pictures of every dish. In addition, the size of each meal as well as the ease of sharing them with friends and family is very much so welcomed! Best of all, the food is filling and very healthy! We didnt feel guilty after filling our stomachs with the amazing food we ordered! Well definitely be going back to this place in the future!

Very friendly and helpful front of house when I placed a my order to go. Food is always delicious. I grew up coming here but unfortunately I no longer live in burlington so I can only visit on special occasions and when visiting family. I look forward to dinner all day when I know I will be stopping in. This location in particular is very good and by far the best Montforts Ive been to without question. Edit: I had mentioned in conversation very briefly how the onion side was my moms favorite and I was suprrised with extra. Got a chicken Shawarma all I had was chicken and a pita absolutely disgusting

I was thinking about going to this restaurant or the one across the street. So I parked the car and went to see the environment in this restaurant. Thereafter, I wanted to walk across the street to see the other restaurant and a staff came out of this restaurant and started to ask me and some other people to remove the car from their parking lot. It was surprising that the parking lot was empty and there were other shops too. The guy started using abusive language and was extremely rude. I think it was enough to make a decision that I should not go to this restaurant. Even if the food is amazing but I am definitely not going to this place again. They showed their character. What a shame!!!

I used to tell all my friends to try out Monfort chicken, that it was the best thing since sliced bread. I grew up by the Oakville location and it is some of the best chicken around. Now the issue arises when they go and try the burlington location, instead of the Oakville i love so much. I lost quite a bit of credibility from my peers, now understand why.

They make a tasty chicken shawarma. The chopped onion dip is awesome.

I cant tell you how good the service is, the food is excellent, being going there for 40 years+ . I highly recommend this amazing place, youll never forget the experience. Food

The lamb shaslik was outstanding - fresh, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. It came in a pillowy pita pocket with yummy grilled veggies and went well with my side order of baba ghanoush. I will return to explore more of the menu, The lentil soup I saw someone enjoy looked delicious.

I used to purchase food from this location many years ago and bragged about the Montfort Chicken sandwich to everyone. I recommended to my employer to purchase a small staff lunch for pick up. It was simple 5 chicken Shawarma s, 1 chicken Shawarma broken down due to dietary restrictions and 1 Montfort Chicken pita (for me) When we go to open our order at work nothing was labeled. We had to open every sandwich ti try to find the Montfort chicken. We couldn t identify it. Every sandwich looked the same. No pineapple, all dry and really without the wonderful flavour I once enjoyed. The experience was underwhelming. The 5 other staff said they ve all had better. Look at the photo. Do you see any pineapple and how delicious does this $14.50 sandwich look to you? Sorry Montfort on Brant you re not what you used to be.

This location used to be quite good but it seems the ownership has changed and the last two times the services and food have not been good. A while back my order was not correct, not a big deal and easily corrected. Last night the chicken souvlaki was not cooked through. First bite was pink and rubbery in the center . Asked for it to be thoroughly cooked, this was done but no apology or discount. I didnt ask for any discount and wanted to see what they would do voluntarily. I got a free salad while waiting for the food to cook the second time. I will return some time in the near future and try again to see if anything changes... Hopeful but cautious. After reply from owner apparently ownership has not changed, just all the staff I saw on-site were new just assumed.

Due to health challenges over the summer, I was not able to venture out. As things have improved, I decided to dine out alone at the last minute. The staff couldn t have been more welcoming. The food was terrific. The atmosphere is great! I look forward to making this a regular occurrence. We ll done Montfort Burlington see you soon again :-) Edit: I purchased their delicious garlic sauce (large container) to take home so that is included in my price/person cost.

A restaurant that waiter makes us wait for half an hour after bringing the drinks, passes by our table 6 times and does not take orders. We left without ordering. I cant imagine when its busy if the service is this slow when there are only 5 tables.

Went there last night and ordered take-out.. Got home ..had the falafel dinner...... At 3:00 am....my stomach starts to hurt...was throwing up .....for two hour...it is now 5:12am....the falafel had to be old....basically that what I had thrown up.... twice.......and now....the next day...I returned the left-overs......and still have not recovered..... Needless to say.....I will never go there again..........

Amazing food, Delicious vegetarian options, fantastic service, great value for money and a lovely atmosphere. I cant say enough good things about this place. Everything from the onion sauce and garlic sauce to the eggplant is bursting with flavor. Love the hours too, spent a lot of late night here with friends. Food is so fresh and finger licking good. The staff is friendly, makes amazing recommendations and is always happy to hook you up with more onion sauce. Fantastic location for date nights too! This location is the best of all of the different ones. Vegetarian options: So many tasty and delicious vegetarian options!! This is one of my favorite restaurants because the vegetarian food is well thought out and not just a basic salad.
