I love that I could not decide what to order during my latest visit, which is rare for a vegan these days visiting restaurants that serve meat. The first time I came here, I ordered a tofu sushi roll, but I don't believe it's on the menu anymore. The second time I came here, I got the mushroom pizza which was to die for! I have a big appetite, and I needed to pack half of it to take home! The latest time I came here, I ordered the Kung Pao Tofu, which was delicious and flavourful. The tofu was so satisfyingly crispy, and the rice was very fluffy. The atmosphere in this place is top-notch, and every time we've come here, the servers have been super!
My wife and I went here last Sunday night for a date. Ida was our server, she was very friendly, informative and was an overall great server. The food was excellent, perfect temperature, taste and portion. I didn't give this a 5 star, purely because the food service was rather slow. About 30mins to get our apps.
What a great dining experience! The hostess Grace was very kind, genuine, and hospitable, which is always a great start to a dinner experience! The atmosphere was very lively and aesthetically pleasing! Our waiter, Micheal, was a funny guy and very punctual with his service! And of course the food was amazing! I had the blackened Cajun chicken with potatoes and coleslaw! Highly recommended! Look forward to coming back again!
Had an incredible date night at Earls. The service was top-notch, with our server offering spot-on recommendations. The chicken on risotto was simply outstanding, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Margarita pizza was a delightful surprise, bursting with fresh ingredients. The tofu dish, on the other hand, was a fiery sensation that we couldn’t get enough of. We’re already planning our next visit—can’t wait to return!
Was there this past Monday for the first time, and just made it before last call for happy hour! Good service and everything we ordered was delicious, including the cocktails! Nice variety of vegetarian/vegan options and I can't wait to try them all. There was a slight hiccup with seating and the bill, but was promptly and effectively resolved but the Guest Experience Manager on duty (Kaitlyn I believe?). She did her best to make sure we had a great experience. We will definitely return in the near future!
I’m not too fond of the newest menu. We had the spinach dip, Cajun blackened chicken and the clam chowder. They used to have a chicken and brie sandwich which was to die for. The service was fantastic though! Arden was attentive, kind, and personable .
What a great experience. I am a vegetarian and finding some good veg places has always been a challenge for me but this place didn’t disappoint. They have a limited menu and we were 4 so we ended up trying everything on their menu. Check out the pictures
5 STARS! We had a girls day at the mall and originally had plans to go to The Keg for dinner. Instead we made reservations for here. And we are so glad we did! Service, Food, Drinks, and Atmosphere was fantastic. I live 2 and a half hours away, I would drive there again in a heartbeat just for the spinach dip. Highly Recommend, you won't be disappointed.
Blackened Cajun chicken. Fabulous. Enough said.
Earl s Happy Hour food and drink selections are a great value for the money.
I love coming here but last night there seemed to be an issue with the table I was sitting at. The hostess sat a party at my tables and claimed I didn t have a reservation, after proving I did I was sat at the Bar tables waiting. A blonde bar tender was clearly not happy and was making a scene infront of me and the hostess. After speaking with my server yassine who was wonderful, he ensured the rest of my night was successful and appreciated. Not only did he apologize and but actually explained to me that there was no issue and I am more than welcome to be here which went an extremely long way within my comfortability. Clearly there was mis communication in the beginning but overall Yassine was able to make the service positive.
Had a great time at earls last night! My waitress yoojin was great; she was friendly, helpful and make sure we had absolutely everything we needed the whole night. Overall a great time!
Great service
Great food but service was slow. I would still highly recommend the restaurant
A delicious end to our day of shopping. Hadel was a great server. She was attentive, personable and a joy to interact with.
Food was great as always. Unfortunately the bottom of my glass (w a Cesar in it) fell out, spilled all over my jacket and jeans . Cold, wet and spicy - not a great start to the meal :( Accidents happen, being in the industry myself, I get it. What I don t get, is why we still got a bill at the end .. The covered both Cesar s I mean, obviously, I wore one of them lol Either way, finished the meal, paid the bill and am now heading home for dry pants rather than Christmas shopping as planned . I come often and found this really disappointing - do better guys .
I have been going to Earls for years but had not been in a while. I love their food and yesterday was no exception. I had the roast beef sliders and my daughter had the chicken tenders (which were a bit too salty), and french fries. I rated a 3 on Atmosphere because the music was annoying and loud. I dont know who picked the music yesterday, but read the room. Everyone in there was over 40 and there was no need for the extremely loud music and the style of music. I would have preferred a softer sounding music as it was lunch ( not dinner). Even some Christmas tunes in there would have been nice being the season it is. The young wait staff enjoyed it though. Also, I was freezing because the outside door was not working and the cold air kept coming in. Why sit people so close to the door if you know the door is broken!! I was not happy, but at least the food was good. I miss the chicken/brie/apple on ciabatta I used to always have. It was always so good.
Can t anyone fix the bar tv s that have been non functional for 6 months? The purpose of paying to sit at the bar is watching sports on tv!
Our server was fabulous and very attentive. But we did wait a while for our food Dietary restrictions: Server asked if there was any restrictions at first
Vegetarian options: They have many vegan options and the food quality is exceptional Food
The steaks are great. The service has been spectacular. Earls has now climbed up to being in our monthly rotation. Update: November 2024. Vee and Rachel are thr best hostesses of any restaurant in Burlington. I can attest to it, as weve been to them all. Enjoy your experience at Earls. Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food. No complaints! In fact they go as far as requesting it. 8 and 9 years of age.
Food was very good with a wide variety of options. Service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive.
A regular here. The new menu had chicken tenders, I was pleased with their return, however they were not the same. Tasted like a frozen box version along with the yam fries. Not an Earls level of dining. Disappointing.
Ida was an amazing server. The food was delicious and we had a great time
Worst service In town ......
I ve been a regular customer at Earls and had a birthday today. Our server was Ashley and she was so kind and friendly! Definitely made the experience memorable and will be coming back!
Unless you enjoy a side of dust with your food I would suggest eating elsewhere!..Im currently sitting waiting on my meal and watching staff using swifter dusters dusting the light fixtures and artificial plants...when I enquired if this was the most appropriate time to be doing that task I was told theres no food around and we have to clean ..WHAATT!!!
I absolutely adored the host Aidan! He was so friendly and welcoming was hoping he d be our server too. Very charismatic and wonderful get this man medal!!!
Honestly I would just come back to hear the host and his jokes!! Aidan was such a gem, even when we left he was so polite!!
While the food is excellent - the service and the wait for food is outrageous. Waited over AN HOUR for a SALAD. This isn t the first time either. This location needs to get their act together on service. Empty tables everywhere - no excuse for that kind of wait. Earls - there s a lot of choices for people to eat. Don t know if it s a staffing issue or incompetence but it s ridiculous.
Our food was wonderful. But the star of the show was Taylor! She made our visit memorable
My husband and I ordered wings and roast sliders, beer, wine and dessert. I was very impressed with the food, the cool atmosphere and especially our absolute 5 star server Mara. We are definitely coming back to Burlington as this is now our new favourite place. Marcia and Jack
Very busy for a Monday. Good food and service.
As usual. Host/Hostess podium a disaster. Confused. Disorganized. Acknowledging people seems too hard. Asked for a table, told - 15Mins. One hour later, still waiting for a text for a table. Left after 20mins. Have finally given up on this chain.
Came here Nov 1st for dinner every thing was on point from the beginning. Came an hour before my reservation and they were able to seat us within 10 minutes on a very busy night. Our server Yaseen was amazing, very professional, provided great service and also gave very good recommendations. Keep it up Earls Mapleview
Came in for a quick dinner. The food was delicious! I had the blackened chicken which was recommended by my server, Nicole. She was also fabulous. Very friendly and attentive!
Nice restaurant and very good service. Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Earls is my favourite.
The atmosphere and service was great. My wife wanted the 6 ounce steak, but they were out so we had to pay for a nine ounce steak. Was $40 for the steak, and it should be amazing for that price, but it wasn t. Had better for less than $30. My crab cakes were good.
Awesome food and drinks! Service was top tier & definitely enhanced our experience. Will be returning for sure! Food
We all had an amazing experience at Earls on Thursday night. We all work at Unique Chrysler and had to celebrate 3 co-workers birthdays, so we decided to go to Earls. It was a large party of us and our server Natasha was outstanding. She was very organized and attentive. Our food came out all at the same time. There was a small mix up about having the bill all on one bill but the manager came out and we were able to get it all sorted out. Very pleasant staff overall and I would recommend Earls 100%. Thanks from the staff at Unique Chrysler.
Noisy Kid-friendliness: Not really Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
I had a great dinner here Saturday evening. Our server Sam was prompt, friendly and checked in often on us which I thought was top notch! The
Earls Kitchen is an upscale restaurant with several food options. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options and vegan options. The food was delicious but a bit pricey. The atmosphere is very friendly. I would recommend Earls Kitchen for a get together or a quiet meal.
Excellent dinner, Ahi Tuna Poke bowel is fantastic. Service was on point with Ida, atmosphere was great in the bar.
Ida s service was wonderful
I took myself out to eat by myself for my birthday and was seated at the bar. I had exceptional service and they told me at the end that they comped my meal for my birthday. It made my day so much better. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!
Always a great experience. Never had a mediocre experience. My favorite local restaurant/ bar.
Ida, She s amazing got the best smile ever! Definitely recommend eating here.
Too expensive for what you get
Pruthvi is awesome; an amazing host & server & overall sweet person. I love Earl s so much & thank you so much to Pruthvi for making my day/night every time I see her!!
Update: Cole gets a million stars from me!! Thanks for great service. 5 years ago: Happy hour is fun ! My favourite meals is the kunan stir fry. The kids like the spinach dip and the garlic fries. Service is usually okay. Food : 5/5
Great customer service!! Cole was our server and made sure everything was good, followed up with us consistently and literally made us feel like VIPs. We had placed our order during happy hour late Friday night and our order took longer than expected but we didnt say anything. Cole noticed, apologized and made sure they brought it out ASAP. Thank you Cole!! Well definitely be back to this location again for Friday night drinks.
This was my first time here, we had the whole family with us, and every single item that came out of the kitchen to our table was fantastic! My kids were even having each other try their food (that is a real oddity) I was impressed with the friendliness of the waitstaff, and did I mention the food! It was delicious! Food
We went for late lunch/ early dinner yesterday (Aug 22nd ) around 4:30pm and Im sad to say that our server Samantha was not attentive at all to our needs, extremely poor service to say the least and she was very lazy just was chatting at the expo with here colleagues while our food was in her hand my fries were already luke warm by the time she placed them on the table. Where she promptly returned to her cohorts to what looked like discussing their schedule which may have just been posted, even though she saw our water glasses were empty and we had to get her attention when she returned to her station so she can give us more water. I dont think simple basic service standards should be compromised because the table chooses not to consume alcohol in the middle of the day. Never judge your tables.
Happy hour actually ends at 4:45. Purposely waited to seat us while restaurant was empty.
Food was great but did not have the best experience celebrating a birthday. I had booked our table online and it asked if we were celebrating a spacial event and I noted that it was a birthday. We come in and get seated, I walk back to the host stand and double-check with the two hostesses that they know this is a birthday. I asked them if they could bring our dessert with a candle after our main course and not to sing happy birthday. I even said I dont need this to be complimentary and to just add it to our order, I just didnt want to do this in front of my partner and wanted to be a little surprise. They reassured me that this was 100% okay and I could sit and enjoy my time and that theyll take care of it/talk to our waiter. We had our food (which 5/5 honestly) and just before our main was done, our server left for a break and left us with the person behind the bar (we were seated right in front so we could see all this) which is absolutely fine but the person behind the bar was so busy. Im looking around trying to get someones attention because Im hoping the for dessert to come out any time. Instead, the person behind the bar comes after a good 15 min and asks if we are ready for the bill and Im like?? Can you please check with the hostesses, Ive already talked to them? Long story short, she goes to get the manager, the manger comes out and speaks to one of the hostesses that I talked to before (again sitting at the bar for their break, right in front of us, so we can see all of this), they keep looking at us, and the manger comes to us finally asks what this is about. Now I have to actually explain everything in front of my partner which I obviously did not want, they finally get us our server and he says we are out of the cheesecake you had wanted! This was the second thing they didnt have on their menue that day and it was so frustrating because I had already asked them for this 1.5 h ago and it just made the whole experience mediocre and honestly embarrassing as the person who was treating a partner to a nice birthday dinner. They could have just checked this and told me beforehand or when I was at host stand trying to get this organized. In all honestly, our server was great and we enjoyed his help but there was clearly a lack of communication/procedure which makes the feel of the restaurant less elevated. Staff can be in fancy clothes and dress pants but it doesnt do anything for the restaurants image as a slightly higher-end place if there is not that extra care. I would come back if I wanted a nice dinner but would not be coming back for a special event
Food is amazing. Service was top notch this time, only because I ordered takeout and went home. I will never sit in restaurant again due to the horrendous experience on my last visit
We were here during a happy hour. We really wanted to order the Margherita pizza and they said the dough was not enough proof that the pizza cannot be made ?!? Like on weekend when all stores are prepared for rush hour, the dough was not ready or proof enough for pizza! That s ridiculous!
I ordered the steak and salmon to go and it was just a mess and the worst part is I found a hair in the food and when I called the restaurant to complain they instantly got rude.. bad experience for one of my fav restaurants
Good place to go with friends or a date. Good food, drink is good customer service is really good too
Food was great. Service was annoying and sad. We asked our server Syb for a drinks menu again after our first round of drinks were finished, and he never came back to take our second drinks order would ve been nice to have a few more especially on my boyfriends birthday! Will be going to different Earls as food is always amazing but service was disappointing here.
Our little family came for a late dinner. Great service drinks, and food. We had some stiploins and they were great quality. Our daughter shared with us and had some mashed potatoes of her own. Overall a good experience.
Heleen is a delight. Wonderful and attentive server. The pumpkin pie dessert is a must-have.
I m typically amazed at everything when i go to Earls. The one time we go to celebrate, I m unfortunately let down. Our server was inattentive and just impolite. I ve never had this experience before, and was super disappointed. My Husband and I went to celebrate our first anniversary, and we were excellently greeted by one of the managers and then it just went a tad downhill. There was a group of teenage girls celebrating, which fantastic i want you to have fun, but they took flash photos every five seconds and were loud and it ruined my evening. I wanted to go to Earls to avoid that kind of group. I m just upset and i know they can t do anything about the group being annoying but it was my anniversary and it just wasn t what i wanted.
Every time I visit with my family is a great experience. The food is incredible a the service 1A. Highly recommended.
Great location with plenty of parking when the mall is closed. Always good quality food. Can get busy at times if you dont have a reservation but they do get you in pretty quickly. The happy hour menu is a great deal. Definitely recommend as one of the nicer casual dining experiences in Burlington.
Weve eaten at Earls Kitchen + Bar at Mapleview Mall too many times to count, and it never disappoints! The plant-based options are fantastic, catering perfectly to our dietary preferences. Our kids love it here, and the quality of food is consistently excellent, whether we dine in or order through DoorDash. Plus, everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and responsive, making every visit a pleasure. The welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service keep us coming back time and again. Highly recommend Earls Kitchen + Bar for a delightful dining experience every time! Vegetarian options: Plant Based Menu, Vegan Dietary restrictions: Plant Based Menu, Vegan
Good place
Excellent service, delicious food, and Lucianos attention was wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants 10/10 Food
Generally I don t share negative experiences but I don t think I would return to Earls or recommend it. There is such delay getting seated when it appears many open tables. Finally when seated, I was clear when ordering we were on a short time frame 1 hour. We quickly ordered drinks and our meals. My boyfriends steak came out first and my meal was no where to be found. Patiently waiting our server was very inattentive. By the time I got her attention my boyfriend was done his meal and we had to go almost one hour into our seating. I m surprised she didn t check in, ask how the steak was or even realize he was eating and I hadn t even gotten my meal. Also the server had blamed it on the kitchen staff the manger did come over and ask what happened. I felt like I shouldn t have to explain and should have just been apologized to. Also was only comped $8 dollars
Amazing food and a calm, aesthetically pleasing ambience. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. I appreciate the plenty of vegetarian options they offer, couldnt have picked a better place for a birthday dinner. You can never go wrong with Earls!
beautiful and comfortable.. Nice Staff... thank you....
A rainy Saturday and a dysfunctional EV charger at home caused us to spend a few hours at Mapleview recently but every cloud has a silver lining and at this venue its Earls Kitchen + Bar. Dark and moody in appearance, the restaurant was busy for lunch. Their friendly staff arrived quickly to welcome us and due to the number of diners we opted to order right away. An Ahi tuna poke bowl and their Sesame citrus noodle bowl arrived after a reasonable amount of time and they were equally perfect for lunch. Jasmine rice, watermelon relish, crispy onions and chilled noodles and a citrus chili dressing accompanied between these two dishes. A wide menu selection gives us justification to visit any of the Earls locations to sample more. The Burlington site has an outdoor patio but on a rainy, windy day we could only be indoors. The demi-lune banquettes were comfortable and makes one feel as if youre in a famous dining establishment where youre meant to see and be seen. Everything was clean and spacious and its open late too. Conveniently located off the QEW Niagara on the malls lower westside level, Flo EV charging and Tesla Supercharger stations available. Direct access to parking lot. $$$
Went here for my wifes bday. It took almost 40 minutes to get our first drinks. The restaurant is nice. The food was good. The service was just not there.
Verry bad service!!!!! ........
Saturday, 3.30pm, restaurant is empty and still has a 20-30 minutes wait time. Unbelievable!!!! Simply overrated!!!
Fathers Day lunch with 2 of my daughters. Service was great, they just made a couple of mistakes that should be common knowledge. But other than that great.
First visit for myself.Best ever meal our entire family enjoyed. Drinks and meals were exceptional. Returning as it now my favorite place to eat when we go out.
My experience with earl retiring was a great one. The food was amazing I had Cajun grilled Cesar salad and oh my God it was delicious . You think you have a salad but it is a complete meal. The drink was nice too. Our waitress Aida was sweet and friendly and helpfull. I had a great time . Please keep going great.
Upscale eatery with great food, service and environment.
Good food. Good portions. Will be back
Food was awesome! we got the angry lettuce wraps, Margherita pizza, Blackened Chicken, & Creme Brule with White Chocolate sauce. Yummy! :) Our waitress was also AWESOME
Good atmosphere to drink and eat and spend your time and money as well.
Excellent food and vibe.
Stopped by here for quick bite on a Monday afternoon. Happened to be Happy hour which is 2pm-5pm. This is the first time at this particular location(which is one of the nicer ones that I went to compared to the Square One location) Had the truffle fries and the Queen Bee pizza which was phenomenal. Food
good
Lovely atmosphere, great food and Seb was awesome.
Good food, very very overpriced.
This is one of the best places for work lunches in Burlington, staff is friendly and food is good.
Typical Earls experience and atmosphere. The servers were polite, the service was good, but not memorable in any particular way.
Food was not bad but prices are very expensive. Water containers are filthy.
We ve been frequent visitors to this Earls location. Unfortunately, the last (Atleast) 5 times we ve ate here we ve had unsatisfactory service. Most recently, we went for dinner - ordered an appetizer and our meals. After about 45 minutes, with only our drinks, we noticed that a table who had sat after us had just received their meals. We didn t think to ask why we were waiting so long for our appetizer because unfortunately we are used to poor service and long wait times at this location. To our surprise, our meals were coming out just a few minutes later. Yet still no appetizer. Our server was able to speak to the manager and get the app taken care of on the bill and brought it out 10 minutes later. While we appreciate them taking it off the bill, we ve had numerous counts of poor service, cold food, and long wait times at this location which is unfortunate considering we enjoy their menu.
Thank you Tyler , you were great. Very pleasant and deserve a raise.
Used to go there because of vegan options but not anymore cuz they got rid a lot of vegan options from the menu now :(
Enjoyed my lunch at Earls. Friendly staff and plenty of free parking.
Great spot to hang out with friends and they do have every day specials. We always order their crispy prawn sushi tacos ,truffle fries and chicken lettuce wraps.
This is one of my favourite places in Burlington. Was able to try some of there new items and so far 10/10. Hands down the pizza was amazing!!!! Has the hot honey on top it MAKES the pizza!!! I already want more!!!
I went to earls kitchen on a Saturday with my family of 13 and our server Ava was awesome. She was so nice and the service and food was amazing. Definitely coming back!
Welcoming atmosphere, delicious meal , and the best part was exceptional service from Nicole , I ve lived in Burlington for a year and stumbled upon the best , I look forward to making earls my go to spot .
Had a happy hour dinner/late night drinks had the pleasure of having Jess as a server..Absolutely amazing!
Amazing place with awesome vibes.
Great food, good atmosphere.... Service was moderate, stereo system was broken and it was stuck on a loud volume which took away from the usual atmosphere.
Special shout out to Cole, Yaseen and sous chef Kirk. You made my and my friends night with your exceptionally friendly and kind service. My friend and I send our best to you and hope you get lots of tips every night you work because you deserve it!
I absolutely love this earls so much. The service is always exceptional but specifically tonight, Cole, Yaseen and sous chef Kirk did such an amazing job. They truly made my friend and I s night and went ABOVE and BEYOND in serving us. Thank you to the three of them!!!
I recently visited Earls and it was fantastic! The ambiance is a perfect mix of modern and cozy, with comfortable seating and large screens everywhere, ensuring you never miss any game action. The lighting creates a warm, vibrant atmosphere that s just right. The drink selection is impressive, featuring a variety of craft beers and signature cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food menu is diverse and delicious, with the spinach dip being a standout.
Food portions have gotten way too smaller. The hunan kung pao was too watery on the last two visits, they tried to fix it but seemed like they drained excess sauce and brought back in a clean plate which took out all the flavours out of the dish essentially. Drinks came after the appetizer was finished. Service was so bad that we couldn t find a server to get us the second round .. Also at another occasion we were told someone will contact us via phone to understand the issue in detail the last time around to make it right but unfortunately it all was waste of time and money
Had an absolutely delightful lunch, enjoying the warm weather while dining outside. Ida, our server, was wonderful, attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. We started with some refreshing drinks and a plate of oysters, though smaller than usual, were incredibly fresh. The highlight was the prosciutto arugula pizza, so delicious that it was gone before I could take a picture . We ended on a sweet note with a crème brûlée. It was one of those meals where everything just felt right. Highly recommend this spot!
This is the 2nd time we went to Earls in Burlington Mapleview mall and were not impressed with the treatment and attitude of the hostess. We were seated in the bar area in a booth and this lovely young lady came to serve us. We explained to her what happened, she was amazing and genuinely listened to our experience. Jess totally turned this whole situation around with her amazing smile and personality. She was attentive, professional and just genuinely an amazing server. I hope Earls Burlington realizes what a gem of a person Jess really is. I was honestly ready to give up on this location with the attitude lately, I understand they are short staffed and it s not an easy job, but a smile and a good attitude is all it takes to make someone s day. Thanks also to the manager in duty I feel bad we did not get her name. Kudos to you guys for the turnaround and making us believe in customer service again.
Awesome food, can never go wrong at Earls
Food was fine, however we came in and there were very few tables busy and what looked to be plenty of staff, and they still had us wait around for 20 minutes before seating us. Eventually we took seats at the bar after originally being told the bartender was overwhelmed (no one was there) and never did get to move to one of the many open tables.
Always a solid combination of friendly staff, great ambience, and quality food.
In the summer time, they do not turn on the air conditioning inside the restaurant. They just open all the windows and doors. It brings in the smell of fume from passing cars or pollutant in the air when the breeze is strong. I do not like to sit outdoor as I have common allergy. You wont find me going to Earl in the summer.
Great service from Ida today!
We had Ardyn as our serve and she was great. Had good suggestions and helped us with any questions!
Love Earls, consistently amazing food and great service with tremendous attention to detail.....sad point though that the Hunan Kung Pao is no longer made with noodles, jasmine rice is good but the noodles were better....
Ida is a top notch service! Smiley, funny, pleasant and cheerful. We can t wait to come back!
Ida is an excellent server. She made our experience very pleasant. Greeted us with a smile and was attentive!
Ida was phenomenal, she took great care of us!
This was my first time at an earls court and i had an absolutely good time. Ida was a very patient and attentive server, and was extremely kind to the two kids in our party of 6!
Good food and great service.
Today we went to earl s for lunch, when my husband asked for the seats availability , the hostess said they have seats available and then after few seconds when I arrived with my kids they saw my two kids with the stroller they said it s fully reserved. We could clearly see lots of empty tables and other people walking in as well. We have been regular visitors at Earls at other locations but never experienced this kind of unprofessional behaviour before. Never visiting again !
Disappointed in the overall experience. Very slow food service, unattentive and rude staff, oblivious management to voiced concerns of customers. Will not return.
Tasty food Great service Food
Charging for peppercorn sauce? Dessert used to be free for the birthday guest. We assumed that, then saw it on the bill. I felt nickel and dimed at Earls. We hadnt been here in a few years and, after our bill, we wont come back again soon. The penny pinching approach was a turn off.
(Written by my 10 year old son and I approve) I have been to many restaurants and my favorite restaurant would be Earls. The service is great and I was here for my birthday and they gave me the best birthday experience! Food
You don t tell people the waiting time is 5 mins and end up being 40 mins :) what a liar! Waste people s time!
I will start by saying that our server, Katie, who served us Thurs April 25th at 10:30 is the only reason why this review will be positive in anyway, she truly saved the experience. To start, our group of 8 attempted to call the Earls on Maple Ave around 10:15 p.m. to see if they could accommodate us, knowing that Earls closed at Midnight. We received no response after two calls, but a quick check on Google to see hours of operation confirmed they were indeed still open. UberEats was also allowing us to order online, so we went to the location. Half of our group arrived and were welcomed icily by the hostess. We informed her that we tried to call ahead, but no one answered. We told her we were looking for a table of 8. Immediately, she told us she would have to speak with her manager to confirm if we could be accommodated. To briefly describe our group to give perspective, we are a group of musical enthuthiasts who enjoy singing in a local group. We were dressed casually, and all fell within the ages of 25 40. While we can be loud, we are certainly not disruptive. We were clearly not a walk in bikergang. We found this shocking as it was still an hour and a half before closing, and there were still multiple other patrons in various stages of their experience throughout the whole restaurant. It was certainly not a dead evening. The hostess came back with the managers verdict, which was that our group was unable to be accommodated. Slightly taken aback, we questioned further as to why. The restaurant was still open for an hour and a half, why couldnt we be served? She responded by saying that the kitchen staff had mostly been cut and that we wouldnt be able to order food. Most of our party was impartial to eating and was looking just to have a beverage, so this wasnt necessarily a deal breaker on our end. We asked if we could just come in for drinks instead. The hostess begrudgingly walked back to wherever the manager was hiding. She came back a few minutes later and said that they would graciously accommodate us, but they could only do so under 2 conditions. 1) The bill couldnt be split 2) There would be a group gratuity. At this point, I felt that the restaurant was deliberately trying to vex us enough to leave. Splitting a bill is not hard. For a group of 8 who are ordering multiple apps, entrees, drinks, and deserts, I can see the convenience on the restaurants end. However, our intention was drinks and apps if we were even going to be allowed to order food. We replied that we would take the table. Side note: during this period two other two tops came in and were sat. Neither of these two groups of two were given any form of restriction and were sat immediately. We were told they would have to put the table together. This process, which involved placing a leaf to combine tables, took I wish I was joking, 20 minutes. I have never been to a restaurant that has tried so hard to refuse paying customers. Having done 8 years in this market of business myself I found myself particularily irate. I get it; customers coming in late sucks. The group that comes in 20 minutes before closing should definitely expect modified service. This was not our case. This was clearly a manager wanting to be home early and placing the business operations below their own needs and wants. Then Katie saved the day. We were sat and greeted by our server Katie wonderfully, for the first time in 45 minutes we felt welcome. Katie asked what we would like to have handing out menus and we timidly asked if we were allowed to order food which she responded immediately with a yes. The rest of the evening went as most outings to restaurants go. Katie provided fantastic service, again the only reason why this review has 5 stars in some areas. Also it was Katie who allowed us to try the food which was absolutely delicious. I hope this review reaches the manager but Im hoping higher as the restaurant business is a bit of a gamble right now and youve got a manager trying to cash out.
No co-ordination between the server, kitchen and bar orders.
My favorite spot, Nice pleasant staff Must try Santa Fe Chicken Salad. I also tried the Vegan Impossible burger with truffles fries and it was good. Lovely atmosphere Open up to midnight, available mall parking spaces Downsides it s A bit pricey and To-go orders take a long time to be prepared Overall, great place and would recommend to try and visit -------- Update 2024 - dine-in experiences continue to be excellent 5/5 -To go & delivery experience keeps getting worse and worse 0/5 in terms of delays and quality. Why it is called a Santa Fe chicken salad if it doesnt come with a chicken? Am I supposed to imagine it in the salad or something? Would still recommend visiting but not ordering for delivery or to go orders
I have been coming to Earls for years and almost always order the Feta Caper Salmon - which I did again on Friday, but was disappointed when the dish arrived and it did not have the sauce, but instead was replaced with a flavourless green puree sauce? I am not sure what it was, but it certainly was not what I expected. I understand that sometimes meals change, or an item is substituted, but when you have only 2 salmon dishes and you change one of them, I would assume the serve would you let know when you order. If this is a permanent change, I wont be ordering this again. It was bland and boring and changes the entire feel of this dish. Server was just alright. I think when he realized we were not ordering alcoholic drinks, he seemed to stay away, rarely coming to check on us or offer water refills, or anything.
Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. The food was good quality. Very disappointed by the portion size. The crab cakes were very expensive and not worth $25 for one. The cheesecake with fresh berries barely had any berries, I was honestly expecting more. After $130 you should expect to be full, but neither my girlfriend or I were remotley full, and both left quite hungry. Like I said good service but did not feel like I got my moneys worth at all. Probably will not be going back.
All was good. Only draw back was had to ask another server to get our servers attention to bring us a bill. The server was tided up in deep conversation with another table.
Sent you a couple of email and no one reach out to us!
Been coming to Earls for years, and love this location but was let down with the Happy Hour Menu. The menu itself isn t an issue, but half the things on the menu was unavailable. Our waitress said the restaurant was having issues with its beer on tap that was apart of the happy hour menu. I think in this case, you should offer a replacement option like a bottle of beer as you are advertising something that isn t available. We than opted for Coronas but sadly the bottles came to us luke warm. Not a very Happy Hour. Overall the food was great, and our waitress was lovely but was let down with most of the drinks being unavailable and the one drink we did get being warm!
Great experience. Awesome restaurant, food and service top notch. Very popular place but didnt have to wait long.
Ive been an Earls customer for over 30 years. Todays lunch was decent. I just wish the server didnt hover over me while I paid on the tablet. Super awkward, and inappropriate. Give people some privacy and dont make them feel like youre rushing them or watching how they tip.
I was served by Samantha M. She was terrific!! She helped correct a problem with my meal and she was considerate, polite and very personable. The perfect server! I had caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious. Thanks Samantha! Food
Good food, music too loud.
Foods okay. Too pricey and too loud.
No kids menu. Food is fine, but not superior as their prices would indicate.
The best
We will be returning . Excellent Food
We had a great meal, but the music was toooooo loud and they said it couldnt lower it but after few requests we were moved to another table where the music level were a little bit better
SHAMEFUL Congratulations Earls. I award you with the worst run restaurant award in Burlington. This extends to your clearly brilliant management team shame on you guys. I would like to update a review for Earls restaurant in Burlington. It is May Mother s Day 2024, and regrettably, this marks the third time Ive needed to write this review, which really highlights the astonishingly poor service Ive endured repeatedly. My issue isnt with the food; its that every time they get busy, they completely lose their grip on competent decision-making and devolve into an absolute disaster of a dining establishment. Take this as a cautionary tale to anyone considering ordering from this place through Uber Eats, especially on a busy day like Mother s Day. I planned ahead, ordering an hour early despite the $200 total because Im usually just a short distance away, and the delivery typically takes about 30 minutes. However, after a full hour wait and having already sent the driver to pick up our meal, Earls had the nerve to cancel our order, leaving us with no food and no explanations. They didn t even have the courtesy to pick up the phone when I called to address this debacle. Honestly, it s disgraceful. Even amidst the bustle of a busy day, leaving loyal customers hanging without so much as an apology is unacceptable. I frequent this place often, especially when hosting guests, and this level of service is simply unforgivable. So, congratulations, Earls Burlington management, youve earned the dubious honor of being the worst restaurant experience Ive ever had in Burlington. Shame on you. It s April 2024 and I am updating this review originally I listed it for one star due to a poor experience since then I ve had a few more experiences that have been positive lead to believe that the below review could be an isolated incident. In transparency, I m writing this forward so everyone knows That my experience has improved, but my initial review will still stand below as I do not believe in deleting past reviews. I order on Uber and waited 2 hours and after 2 hours at 10pm they canceled it and said they were closed. Very unprofessional and these ppl should treat customers better. The manager should be fired for doing such a poor job running this place. Update 2024 I ve since eaten here many times I will tell you it is really good food but this particular day I had a very bad experience. I will give it another try and re-review it soon.
The food was delicious and the services EXCELLENT! Olivia, our server, was incredible. Friendly, efficient, accommodating with a great smile. We didnt have such a great services for a long time. Thank you Olivia. Unfortunately, the music was extremely loud, harsh and monotonous. Impossible to carry a conversation without yelling at one another. We asked to lower the music and were told that the system was broken and couldnt do anything about it! So we left with our stomachs full, happy with the services and with a major headache, thanks to the loud, harsh music.
The service was awesome and the food was perfect.
We had the crispy sprawn sushi, not a fan. Drop it from your menu as its truly gross and a total insult to the Asian people and community. You can not be good be good at everything Food
Thank you Ardyn, Katie, Josie, Jess and Paloma for the best service! You all make Earls feel like a second home. Cheers!
Best crab cakes I ve ever had! Whiskey sour too! Food
Love the food, amazing service, but it s so loud. Vegetarian options: Decent plant-based menu. It s nice to be able to have a choice and not just get the one vegan thing on the menu. Food : 5/5 |
Order a chicken salad, looks nothing like the picture, probably 3 times less chicken. For 26$ I got 80gr of mediocre cold chicken....
The food was delicious. The place has a wonderful ambience, and the staff were lovely. Food and drinks came out fast, and were amazing. 10/10 recommend!! L Food
I love earls. But I would never come back to this location. Service was terrible.
Had a great server on a Wednesday night which came with 50% off bottles of wine and $5 off some steaks. Food was tasty. Busier than I expected on a Wednesday.
Good food and good service
Better than the keg steak house
Their manager is unprofessional and extremely arrogant! We ordered black bean chicken no bacon. Food showed up with bacon and no one wanted to take responsibility.. the manager s solution, I ll take it off the bill but that s potato skin - nobody was there to eat for free! Here is some pointer for the manager, if someone bring such an issue instead of giving everyone attitude and getting into an argument with them. Apologize, take responsibility and ensure that doesn t happen to other people. It was a religious thing and when people say no to certain things make sure there aren t. You lost a regular customer
Week night dinner with friends. Our server Sam was excellent! Highly recommend the Santa Fe chicken salad paired with a Corona!
Good food good service
I often come here for lunch when at the mall, but last time, I had food poisoning afterward. Its difficult to know for sure the source, but it was not a fun experience post lunch. However, I have always had a great experience overall and will go again eventually!
Payton was a very great server. We went here for my boyfriend s coworkers birthday party. It was a table of 9 and we were all served professionally and promptly. Special thank you to Heloma the guest experience manager. She made sure our accommodations were special! I highly recommend to friends and family for any occasion. Thank you. Parking: It s attached the mall so plenty of free parking. Not sure about overnight parking
Cozy and cute location! The food was delicious but not the most filling. Very wide variety of food, however, and not too expensive for such beautifully curated dishes. Definitely recommend for a date night or a fun hangout. The service was not the fastest, but our server was nice, so it wasnt too bad of a wait.
I have been here so many times before. A big no!!!! Please don t waste ur money. They serve cold food. Chefs are so unhygienic their dreses are worst and dirtiest they make food with those dirty uniforms and aprons. Should have give them 0 stars.
Friendly staff and great service. Key lime pie was great.
Great service and lovely atmosphere. Just the music was a bit too loud. Thats the only bad thing lol Food
