Jacksons Landing in Burlington

Thoroughly enjoyed food and atmosphere. Would recommend. I wish I could give less than 1 star for service. Athena the bartender was truly terrible. Appetizers were finished before any attempt at providing us cutlery. Dinners which we enjoyed came out incorrectly and not as ordered. Not once did she even come close to ensuring everything was okay. Glanced from afar at our table and said out loud, still doing okay . We could ve used refills on our empty drinks. Time for the bill, waited more than 10 minutes to get the bill. Paid in cash, requested change and again a 10 minute + wait. Not once a thank you, not once a have a nice night. Just makes you never want to come here again.

The plaza had small parking which I understand it s not their fault. But most businesses in this plaza all got their pre assigned parking spot. Jackson landing the place that needed parking most didn t consider they should get their own parking spots for the customers??? The service is so bad. Our group asked for drinks 3 times and did not get our drink. Food is mediocre but pricy

The food was good the portion was a little small last night my wife and I had dinner there I had to the steak when I ordered it the lady asked if I wanted shrimp or scallops on it that led me to believe that it was included so I said shrimp when I received it there was three pieces of shrimp when I looked at the bill they charged me $9 for the shrimp I think that was wrong the waitress should have said that it was extra.

Service was not good. Our waitress was rude and not attentive. Food was brought out cold and bland. I ordered a cocktail and found a dead fly in it, and when brought up to the waitress she seemed annoyed, and was still charged for my drink.

We went in for brunch. We were a party of 6 and a toddler food was disappointing and cold and waited a very long time to get refills on drinks. It wasn t a full house during the time we went so we were surprised on the speed of service. We got the calamari , scallop and bacon and tomatoes and burrata as apps. The scallops and bacon was a crime to even pay for the potion was so small. The server was very friendly though. The best part of the whole brunch was the sticky toffee pudding and calamari. I m sure lunch may have been better according to the menu however I wouldn t recommend Brunch. Definitely wasn t worth spending over $400 for Brunch.

I love coming here for lunch with my coworkers. The salmon is my favorite, however there are loads of great items on their menu, including vegetarian options. The rooftop patio is fabulous when the weather is good.

The customer service was meh. But the cleanliness was awful because there was a HUGE spider web behind the seat. and the food and alcohol drinks had NO flavour. Like my alcoholic cocktail felt like a MOCKTAIL!!! It was so watered down the portions were REALLY small. Prices are unbelievable.

Our work team had an amazing dinner here. They loved the food, ambience and service. Perfect for a business dinner. It was so easy to make reservations and I liked how Emma called to confirm. I called her the day of the dinner and she kindly adjusted the guest count right away and I got an open table confirmation. We can t wait to come back and I want to take some family here too!

The service is poor and the lack of detail and attention to a patrons needs is unequivocally alarming. Upon entering the establishment you are greeted by hostesses who do not anticipate how quickly they are walking you to your table leaving you in the dust ( very behind). Red Flag #1 Friends and family were already there which was probably the only pleasant sight in the place. Once I was seated the waiter came over, DID NOT INTRODUCE herself.. I asked the table if they knew her name or if she mentioned it to them prior they all said NO.Second red flag of the evening. The server did not ask if we have been there before and or make any recommendations of the menu. Red Flag #2 We ordered starters and drinks. Now this is where it gets cute.. I ordered my second drink and found a DISGUSTING FLY IN MY DRINK. Red Flag #3 That was it I was out.. before I found the insect in my beverage.. it was actually tasting decent and I would have recommended the bar for drinks. It appeared that the bar made fairly tasty drinks within a reasonable price point. NEGATIVE I was wrong. The food was sub par a solid 2.5/5 for appetizers. I immediately cancelled my food order because I do not trust a restaurant who fails to QUALITY CHECK their items before providing them to their patrons it screams carelessness. One thing you can never play about is your health and that is directly correlated to what you consume. The server apologized and told her manager who also apologized and told me the drink only will be removed from the bill and asked if I wanted another one. Which I politely declined and as previously stated cancelled my dinner order. The gag is when the rest of the table received their dinner orders the server then decide to bring out the customary tap water in glasses when no one asked. DO NOT COME HERE unless you enjoy lack luster food, poor service and sub par insect infested alcohol drinks. If I could rate this review a 0 I would.

I have visited Jackson s Landing a total of 6 times and my go-to meal is the beet salad, with chicken or salmon. It never disappoints! The cheesecake is equally delicious. The staff here is fun to be around and always smiling. Shout out to Veronika who I had as a server twice. She is always attentive and has made my visits comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend for team outings, birthday celebrations and patio visitors looking to get out before heading into the fall.

I have been to Jackson landing many times over the year but I recently came too Jacksons Landing for my Birthday dinner. I just had to hop on here and leave a review too shout out our hostess, I think her name was Sarah. She greeted me with such positive energy and asked me all about my birthday. I had an over all great time.

Nikki was our server, she made our 4 year anniversary so special! She went above and beyond, I ll definitely come back for my 5th!

Celebrated my daughter s sixteenth birthday at Jackson s Landing and was very pleased with the friendly staff, incredible food, and clean atmosphere. I rarely write reviews, but felt that I had to speak on the incredible service, especially by the young hostess at the front, Sara. She made us feel very welcome and was helpful in accommodating our requests. It is very rare nowadays that you find exceptional service. Will definitely be returning.

I was here the other day and the place was PACKED. I ordered the wings and the carbonara, which were really good. The best part of all of it though was the bartender Athena. She was incredible at her job. Loves to chat, genuinely cares about people, we didnt feel neglected or anything despite how busy it looked to be. If you end up coming here you need to ask for her because she will make your night. I hope a manager reads this because she needs to be commended for her work. Never let this girl go.

I go to Landing restaurants a lot, its one of my family s go to restaurants (usually Harpers). This weekend i took my GF s family to Jackson s landing, assuming we would have a similar experience as Harpers, but unfortunately, the food did not match up. I get the Moroccan chicken every time i go; usually the chicken is pre-cut into small pieces, and (i assume) cooked like that - but this time it was one large thigh, which didnt have as much flavour as usual. It didnt have as much brown sauce - which also had less flavour than usual - not as much white sauce, and the naan wasnt as good either. The carbonara looked dry, and the sirloin pasta lacked any flavour. All of the dishes required more salt. Pretty unfortunate, i hope they improve because i really love the Landing restaurants, and would hate to see them go downhill in quality.

I came in on the weekend with my family, Sara was the hostess, she was so kind and my siblings loved her, she was so friendly with them and gave them coloring utensils. Whenever we go to Jackson s Landing the atmosphere is so beautiful, so well put together and the service was phenomenal!!

Beautiful restaurant, decent prices and great food. Always a good time while we are there. That being said, dinners have always been incredible but we went once a few weeks ago for the first time doing brunch. Super disappointed in the meals and prices. Not worth it at all and it was discouraging. Soggy waffle with burnt chicken and some gross white sauce for their chicken and waffles brunch . Maybe it was just a one off bad day for the cooks etc but we wont be going back for brunch anytime soon. Parking: Lots of parking and its free Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff, menu and food. First time out to Jackson s Landing and I was not disappointed. The place is beautiful. Dim lighting, great decor and comfortable seats. Fantastic evening at Jacksons Landin. The food was fantastic! The service both Patrick and Veronica provided to our table was fantastic. Our table enjoyed every second of the interaction with both Patrick and Veronica!. We were celebrating a birthday this evening and they were both so attentive. We do not live in Burlington but definitely worth driving to Jacksons Landing for future evening outings. Their Sticky toffee pudding is to die for ... Or just to make a trip to Burlington! We waited about an hour to get our food and the restaurant was not busy at all. When we received it the fries were cold and one of the steaks wasnt cooked enough. They did however remake the steak. No one asked if we needed refills. Overall service was extremely slow and food wasn t great.

My husband and I went for the first time to celebrate my birthday. It took a while for us to be seated. The host and server seemed a bit frazzled. After finishing our appetizer, we were told the server forgot to order our main and also forgot what we ordered. Another server (possibly the manager) apologized and offered to comp our appetizer and provide a desert. I was happy to hear that since we had a sitter waiting at home and it was my birthday. They never came back, so we had to flag someone else down to ask for our bill. The app was comped, but no desert was offered. The food was really good but the service was so poor, they seemed stressed and miserable which doesnt make for a nice atmosphere. Birthday dinner ruined. We wont be back.

Overall the place was okay. I am gonna break it down to the three sections here and let the final take be on the reader. Food: the food was good but not great. The chicken was a bit dry and the pasta was just ordinary. With all things considered, I dont think the price-food quality match here. Plus the drinks were overpriced. They charge competitively to other other restaurants such as Keg, State and Main, Earls but dont match the quality in terms of food. However, the food itself is not bad. Service: We were initially greeted by a gentleman who seemed nice and respectful. However, our server was not really the kindest. I am not going to describe them, as I do not intend to impact their job/working environment. Plus I dont think it was fully their fault. However, they didnt seem like they want to be there and had an attitude. Maybe they had a bad day, I dont know. As someone who was a manager in the food industry myself, a manager should assess the state of their employees before the shift and give them duties accordingly. That is called managing. Dont put someone who is not in a good mood to serve bunch of tables when you know they are not in a good mood/having a bad day/are tired etc. Atmosphere: Overall, the atmosphere seemed good. It is a calm place without the hustle and bustle. This is a place that couples, friends, families can all go to. Its suited for everyone in terms of the overall vibe of the location. Though my first experience was not the greatest. I will go there again and try to give it another shot. Stay tuned lol!

Popped in for a quick dinner and was served by Nikki. Service was top notch. Nikki was very friendly welcoming. Made us feel like we were regulars with her upbeat personality. She gave us a few recommendations which were all delicious. Will definitely return!

Stopped in this week for a quick drink and a bite. My partner and I go out to eat a lot and we often say how hard it is to find good service as of late. This was not the case during our visit. Our server Nikki was incredibly personable and went well beyond the usual transaction that is placing your order and receiving your food. As someone with a fair amount of dietary restrictions, I appreciated the time she took to answer my questions about the menu, and make recommendations based on my needs. She checked back often and entertained us with friendly conversation. Thank you Nikki, we will definitely be back soon !

Ive been to most of the Landings but this location always delivers the goods. The food is outstanding and the service was amazing. My server, Nikki was very helpful and, recommended solid choices like the charcuterie board, and the cauliflower appetizers. 5 stars.

The menu has improved for vegetarians and GF options over the years. At one point there was almost nothing I could eat but slowly they are introducing something into each course. I enjoyed the veg charcuterie board (when available) and now there is a plant based burger option. I do love the style and atmosphere. Vegetarian options: There are limited vegetarian options and year after year the menu doesn t change.

We celebrated a milestone at Jacksons Landing this evening and it was a spectacular experience. Our server Zoe was extremely kind and friendly. She knew the menu very well and was able to help us decide between dishes. We had calamari for starter, scallop & bacon risotto for main course and mascapone cheesecake to finish off. Long time Landing Group Fanatic first time reviewer for this location and lets just say it did not disappoint! Jacksons Landing in Burlington is my favorite new spot to celebrate my gambling wins. This elegant yet cozy venue offers a sophisticated menu that exudes the chefs creative flair. Start with the exquisite Trio Dip, and follow with the Steak Frites or Landing Burger. The Pistachio Gnocchi is also a delightful indulgence, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding is an unforgettable dessert. Service is impeccable, and the curated wine list pairs seamlessly with the menu. Jacksons Landing is a true gem, offering a memorable dining experience worthy of high praise. 10/10 would recommend. You enter at Appleby and New Street, but somehow end up in culinary heaven.

I took my gf out for Canada Day dinner. Despite being busy, the host seated us quickly. This was my first time at Jacksons Landing and the atmosphere was amazing! The staff was friendly and attentive. The manager even came to my table to see how everything was going and offered her suggestion for a great dessert! The food was amazing, I highly recommend the Pistachio Gnocchi and the cheesecake dessert!!!

The staff is all very friendly and engaging, and you can tell that management plays a big role in the positive attitude of the staff. I go about 6 times a year. All my visits have been positive.

Came here for Dinner after our Harpers Landing reservation was not honored. Jacksons Landing is much smaller, the staff is good, but aside from the trio dip app.. the food was not very good, I cant recall last time I did not finish a steak.. The staff was very attentive even though the place was busy.

We stayed near here for 5 days and ate at Jacksons Landing 3 times. It was great every time. The best mushroom soup I have had in a long time!

Went yesterday with my wife for the first time. They sat use upstairs gave us menu for food and drinks it was a hot day as well. We wanted an order a cold tropical drink the waiter told us machine not working today why not tell customers that the machine not working before sitting us. So we left never will we come back and the menu up stairs was a joke. Plus we don t drink beer or wine so no other option.

We spent more than $200 here for a dinner experience but other than the ambience and vibe of the place, didnt feel it was worth it. Starting from my cocktail, it was badly made and too bitter. The Korean cauliflower entree had uncooked and hard cauliflower in it. The risotto had no flavor and every non vegeterian dish we ordered had a chicken breast piece on the side and not as part of the dish which didnt make the overall dish cohesive or palatable the way it should be. Even the sliders for kids has the same chicken breast as part of it which felt totally a non-child friendly dish. Food was absolutely okay.. nothing great at all.. just the place was good for hanging out

Nice ambience but the food was very avg. The dishes all had a neutral taste. The cauliflower in the Korean cauliflower was borderline uncooked. Plating was nice as you can see from the pics. Service too was pretty average except for the young lady at the front desk. The cheesecake dessert was the saving grace.

We visited JL this afternoon for dinner. We have been here in the past but were never really impressed. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance and regretted our choice. Firstly the front hostess was a little rude and not very welcoming, this is the front line person, they should welcome customers with a smile and a hello, this was not the case today with us. We were seated and the table and menus were dirty. I was dinning with a child and didn t want my child to put his hands in something sticky that was left on the table. I kindly asked our server to wipe the table or provide me with a napkin to clean it my self and she did wipe it but then seemed like she was ignoring us. Our drink order was taken fine and then we were asked what we would like to order. We were not told about any specials or if we had any questions ( as I heard she asked the tables next to us) We order, food came out hot, looked appetizing but not very tasty. My son s fries were not cooked and food was below average. Our meal cost $85 before tax and not including tip, which nowadays is a lot, specially for one kids meal , two appetizers as adult meals and a glass of wine. I truly try to support the local restaurants but when you go out with this best intentions in mind and are provided with poor quality of service from walking in the door to an average meal please consider coming here, especially for dinner. Save your money and order a pizza. Kid-friendliness: This place is not kid friendly. I would not recommend for kids under 8

came in over the weekend and couldn t be more impressed. i like the relaxed vibe and our server was so nice beyond words, think her name was julia. and the food .. omg, not to be dramatic but it is to die for. absolutely will be coming back to this awesome restaurant! keep it up guys!

Overall . Food was cold and late .. but manager Alex was so understanding and accommodating a true professional and made everything all perfect. So happy to be there. Thank you landing. We will be back.

Except for the outdoor Patio, I totally regret to have chosen this place to celebrate Father s Day yesterday with my family.The Crispy Cauliflower was frozen and smothered with a sauce, the Risotto was uncooked, the Coke served was flat and rest of the food served was way below standard.

Perfect summer place. Beautiful patio will have to come back on a weekend to see what s it like. Strongly recommend trying this place. Service is also great, this is a must try this summer

Stopped in this little gem on my way through , travelling with a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by not only the margarita pizza with its mouthwatering Mozzarella, Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors, but the exceptional service provided by our server Christina. She was friendly and attentive going above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The ambiance was very inviting and but still casual, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The patio was absolutely beautiful, 10/10 recommend .

I have been going to Jacksons Landing occasionally for a few years and have been a regular customer at Harpers Landing since its opening over 10 years ago. However, this experience at Jacksons on March 30, 2024 was simply awful, to put it mildly. I cannot fault the wait staff or anyone, other than the kitchen. Something was clearly wrong. I ordered the pasta carbonara and my friend ordered the lamb shank dish on special that evening. The lamb dish had to be returned due to it be cold and tough. The second time around, my friend gave up and couldnt eat the lamb due to it being tough once again. The staff was gracious and accommodating removing this item from the bill. The pasta carbonara was another story. I have ordered this dish a number of times at Harpers and it is always delicious. Here at Jacksons, the dish was soupy with cream, the pasta was overcooked and crusty on top, and the chicken pieces had a tangy strange taste. Nonetheless, I ate most of it not wanting to add pressure to the staff after the lamb dish fiasco. Needless to say by 2am overnight, I began feeling ill. My stomach was stabbing in pain and I befriended the john for the next couple of days. I couldnt eat anything solid for 3 days. Classic food poisoning I assume. Not wanting to write a negative review, I thought of speaking with the restaurant staff to give them a chance to examine their practices and their cooking methods. I called Jacksons on April 4th in the afternoon and spoke with a polite Manager on Duty named Gwen. She expressed her apologies and said she would pass along my story to her General Manager named Paulina, who would be calling me in the next couple of days. We are now April 26 (22 days later), no callback, basically crickets. Out of sight, out of mind. They have my phone number and my email through the reservation. They should be responsive and attentive to something that could be harmful to their customers. I am very disappointed to say the least.

We had dinner here the other night and it was pretty good! Our waiter was really friendly and accommodating. We shared a charcuterie board which is huge for the price! We both had burgers for mains which were also great. I had the burger with bacon jam which I loved. They also make a good red sangria. The restaurant has a great atmosphere to!

Unless your face fits like you ooze money the waitresses are self obsessed with looking pretty rather than if your glass is empty. What a great place to find! such an amazing atmosphere! However what i have found from the delicious food, is the staff, Amazing people to be around, how they are super friendly, very accommodating, and go that extra mile to make sure everyone there is enjoying their time out. Food

Service was unbelievably slow especially considering how empty the restaurant was. We had three different servers drop off food at different times and none of them seemed to have a clue what was going on. The bartender who we believe was our main server, seemed like she could really care less. Luckily we werent in a rush! The food was absolutely delicious! Zero greeting from the hostesses at the front door who seemed more interested in chatting with each other. Hoping this experience was a one-off because weve always had great experiences in the past.

First visit to this location. Zoe was an excellent server. Started with the beet salad. It was EXCELLENT. That hummus will bring me back again! Wings were good. The Risoto on the other hand was disappointing. We ate it thinking that it was just the way this location served it. Having looked at some photos in other reviews, I can see it is usually served correctly. Our risoto had absolutely no liquid. It was dry and not runny at all. The flavour was good but it missed the mark on what Risoto is supposed to be. (I wish I had a photo) Will definitely return but wont take a chance on the risoto next time.

10/10 experience whenever i go, always a good time and id definitely recommend it to all my friends, i went in a few days ago and got the bulletproof lemonade of course with steak and fries and it was amazing, the server monique was nice and well mannered and the dapper looking chef came out to take about the food he prepared for us i think his name was chris i believe, I ll definitely be returning to Jacksons soon (way better than harpers)

Hats off to Sarah C for providing premium service to myself and my colleagues. Work get togethers can be awkward sometimes, but Sarah Cs hilarious jokes and impressions kept the table in stitches! The food was great, ambience was immaculate, but the service was second to none.

Lobster bisque was delicious, Salmon and truffle mushroom risotto was good. Scallops and bacon not so much. Service was ok. For that kind of money I can go to Lake House and get an exceptional meal.

Went to Jacksons Landing for a random night out with my significant other and it was such a great decision! The food was phenomenal, the drinks were made perfectly and our server, Elisa, was such a pleasure to be around! We arent from around Hamilton but would recommend anyone in the area and from out of town to check this place out!
