Montana’s BBQ & Bar in Burlington

Took 5 work colleagues there. Steaks great but cool temperature one friend shrimp skewer missed we didn t complain as we wanted out asap. Whilst waiting on food notified SORRY NO BAKED POTATOES we all just looked at each other. Unbelievable.Xmas week. My friends say won t be back. Girls were very nice / service

Our server brought us the wrong drinks, the coffee mug was chipped and broken and they couldnt fund another, then the food tasted like it was left over from the day before. (We were one of the first customers of the day.) To replace the terrible rice, we ordered salad topped with chicken, but the chicken never came... Then she left and went home. Another server took over, but she was overwhelmed. Very very poor experience.

Had the Taster Spare Ribs - over cooked and dry - not the usual Montana standard !

Five guys came in for beer, wings and ribs, and it amazing. We were absolutely shocked that Donna remembered all our (huge) orders without a pen and paper, and the food was great. We re all old timers which used to be Shoeless Joe customers down the street, this place has it beat by a mile.

It s not too hard to keep the drivers updates about their orders . Wait time is almost half an hour . 0 for service .

I accepted an order and drove to the restaurant, only to find that the entrance was closed, with no other way to pick up the order. I wasted both time and fuel driving there, only to be unable to complete the delivery. After explaining the situation to the customer, they ended up canceling the order. This experience was frustrating as it cost me both fuel and effort with no compensation in return. It would be helpful if restaurants could ensure their entrances are accessible or update the status on the app when they are unavailable.

Unsure if it was the owner or manager, but someone was seated behind us and they were very loud and had the staff all sitting there talking extremely loud on relatively slow night... talking about unpleasant things and just being overal obnoxious... it really threw us off as we were trying to enjoy our food as it was really nice and well made... Its just sad that having a loud group of staff sat behind us having no respect for paying customers threw off the experience.

Horrible customer service. A few months ago I placed an order for curb side pickup on the app. A time was shown on the app for when my food would be ready and it was well past that time but was still showing my food was not ready yet. I called the store multiple times only for someone to pickup and not say one word to me (I could hear people talking in the background). I spoke to the manager a few days later and was given a $20 credit which was the only reason I placed an order today. I placed an order for takeout and was told it would be 30 minutes, so I arrive at the restaurant about 25 mins after i placed my order and was told that it would be another 5 minutes (no problem at all). I sat there waiting for about another 25 minutes while they tried to find my $20 credit. The food is decent but the customer service is so bad I will not be coming back

Wow... never coming here again. You are not able to sit in the bar area because the server rotation. Amazing they would do this. Service : 1/5

Waitress was lovely but they had my daughters dinner come out later then all adults at the table it should always be kids first . I ordered a steak that was ok but the shrimp skewers were harder then a rubber ball

Went to this location and right from the start it did not go well. Took 10mins to be seated and the restaurant was 3/4 empty. Ordered drinks and took 15mins to recieve them. Asked for refills on two pepsis and after 10mins two ice teas were brought to the table. I had to goto the bar to getbthem exchanged. Then appetizers arrived and i had the spinach dip and half through it ended with me pulling a hair out of my mouth. I should have said something but opted to say nothing. Then my ribs came out and a 2nd hair was found embedded in them. At this point i called for the manager explained my situation and they said they would take care of this for me. The bill came and they removed the rib order but left the spinach dip on there and gave me a coupon for a free dip on my next visit. To me that is not good customer service. Called the manager back and complained and they removed the dip but with alot if hesitation. Big fail on this location i will not return and i advise no one else does either.

Sean and Michelle are great servers always happy and go above and beyond! We got two buttermilk chicken dinners which were super fresh and looked just like the picture:) we also had a brisket burger which was very good and the crispy onions added extra crunch. We got the cheesecake to take home:) great service and great food too. Spinach dip was delightful as always:)

So I have been to so many montanas , and let me tell you this one has been the best , the customer service has been unreal , super friendly and helpful I would suggest anyone who has small children to go there because they help so much . Thank you for the best restaurant experience

Seated at a booth in the bar area. The appetizer took a long time to come out was disappointing. Looked nothing like the photo on the menu. Wings were good although arrived luke warm. Chicken on fajitas had zero flavour so asked the server for hot sauce. She responded there was supposed to be Cajun spice on chicken. There was no spice whatsoever. Only enough cheese for 2 wraps and lettuce looked wilted and old. Then an off duty employee arrived and yelled that the football game should be on. He turned it on so loud that we couldn t continue with our conversation so asked that our food be boxed up. He also was walking around the dining area with a dog in his arms that was barking. He then put the dog on the seat at a booth. Absolutely shocking. The server told us it was a service dog . Clearly it was not. We asked for the bill. The machine was brought over without the paper copy. The entire dining experience was a disaster. Sept. 9-2024

We went to Montanas for a family dinner. My husband, young son, and myself were promptly greeted and sat at a booth. The server Donna came over quickly and took care of everything with accuracy and efficiency. The food was great, and lastly, we forgot our sons hat. The staff held onto it for us until we called and were able to pick it up. THANK YOU!

I must say that the 5 stars rating came from our waitress, Amelia. It was a very busy night and it looked like they may have been short staffed but she made sure to take care of her tables in a timely manner, which luckily for us was a blessing since we had 2 kids who were on the verge of mania. Thank you for the quality service!

I recently visited Montana s Restaurant with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, there were several issues that left us disappointed and frustrated. Firstly, we were seated at a table with a light that was burned out, creating an uncomfortable and dim atmosphere. Although we requested to be moved and were eventually seated elsewhere, it would have been much better if we didn t have to ask to be seated in a properly lit area in the first place. Furthermore, when ordering the Unlimited Ribs, we were informed that it was mandatory to purchase a drink with the meal. This was surprising, as there is no mention of such a requirement anywhere on the menu. This misleading information felt like an unnecessary and deceptive upsell tactic, leaving us feeling taken advantage of. The most disappointing part of our visit came when we asked for our third servings of ribs, which we had already paid for as part of the Unlimited Ribs offer. The staff rushed us, making it clear that they wanted us to leave rather than fulfill what we had been promised. This treatment was both unprofessional and unfair, undermining the very concept of unlimited that they advertised. Overall, our experience at Montana s Restaurant was far from enjoyable. The combination of poor seating arrangements, misleading menu information, and rushed service made for a very disappointing dining experience. Given these issues, we will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again.

Picked this location as it was quick off highway and I was starving and need a beer after driving 5+ hours. Hostess clearly looked at me as a nuisance than a customer. Seated me in a corner, waited 10 minutes and came back with stone cold look to tell me there s no wings. I don t recall ordering wings, or even knowing it was wing night. I just needed a drink and food. I left right away. It was clear I was not welcomed.

The food was good. We felt a little rushed, and it was later in the evening and only a few other customers.

At the time I visited this location they were fairly busy. We were seated quickly. Service was very good and food was excellent. Fairly well priced and good portions. Kid-friendliness: Went with younger nieces and nephews. Acceptable kids menu.

The food was OK, nothing like it was a few years ago when we would come a couple times a month. Mediocre at best. Ordered hot water with lemon, glad it wasnt a coffee because the mug had a big brown stain on the bottom of the cup. Hair in the chopped tomatoes for the fajitas which was long and clearly visible and ordered the steak which was extra and it came with 4 little slices of red pepper and what looked like a whole onion, I guess veggies are scarce these days. I would have expected the manager to come and apologize but we did not see anyone but our waiter.

Terrible.. upon arrival about 2 tables were occupied in the dining room and a couple of people by the bar. We ordered 2 meals and an appetizer waited longer than expected. Fries were under cooked and wings were burnt. My son ordered corn bread which were so hard you could bang them on the plate and make noise. Waiter never came after food arrived.

Tasty food but unfortunately three of us had cold food (there were four of us in total). Decor was okay but nothing special and disliked how they put all the customers beside each other in a mostly empty restaurant. Service was friendly. NO margaritas on the menu - go figure!

Absolutely amazing place to sit down with your friends after a long day. The food is consistently great, the atmosphere and music are exactly what they need to be, and the servers (especially the bar staff!) are absolutely amazing. This Montanas has become a go to for myself and my friends, and I don t see that stopping any time soon!

Went to Montanas with my family tonight for dinner. They say us quickly, answered our questions, and even gave my son a Moose hat. The food was great, but our server Sean was the icing on the cake. He gave us wonderful service! Highly recommend.

From the moment we sat down, she impressed us with her knowledge of the menu items, and blessed us with her bubbly nature. Montanas exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and friendly service. The BBQ ribs were tender and flavorful, and the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious comfort food in a cozy atmosphere.

Went for a birthday. Everyone was super friendly but I think they might have been short staffed. A few things were forgotten from our meals and getting the bill was a bit of a wait. I did not really like the chicken burger but others enjoyed their meals fine. The fries are really good. Vegetarian options: There was a veggie burger option that looked good. Parking: There are other business around it so large parking lot.

My family is big fan of Montana s BBQ, but it was our first visit this location in Burlington. Food was so disappointed, especially kids menu. Pasta was so dried and not so fresh to compare with other location where we used to go. I also request to server to get fresh cut of veggie as side menu instead of fries. Cucumber was almost rotting, i asked her to get fresh one, but i served same one again, server mentioned it was their last one what they have. I still love Montana s but I never go back to this Burlington location again.

The food was good. Especially the spinach dip and Pita Bread Appetizer. Service was a bit slow, considering it wasnt busy and some of the dinnerware was pretty worn and probably should be replaced (wood fajita plate was split and missing bits off it).

I always come on Wednesdays to get the all you can eat ribs and when I came for Valentine s Day with my girlfriend my server Tara was very nice and made the experience in general a lot more enjoyable, I will continue coming here on Wednesdays for there ribs and the amazing customer service!
