Pepe and Lela's Eatery in Burlington

I recently visited Pepe and Lela s with friends, and had a mixed experience. The food was good every dish we tried was flavorful, and it s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in what they serve. That said, our experience was overshadowed by the interaction with the owner. While the staff were attentive and friendly, his demeanour and lack of professionalism towards us left something to be desired. Hopefully, owners will consider enhancing their customer service to match the wonderful staff, and tasty dishes.

Everything I had was delicious. Great upscale Mexican. Lunch portions are good. Friendly and helpful staff. Better than anything across the street. Dietary restrictions: Try to accommodate all needs Parking: Park across the road.

This is an amazing gem of a place! Margaritas were absolutely delicious and the food top notch! Everything was so fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable. Dinner last night was fantastic. The two of us started with an excellent margarita and then shared the chorizo fundidos, the beef tacos, and the tres leches cake. It was all delicious and we left very full. The service was excellent. Will be spreading the word and will definitely be returning. Parking: Lots of free parking in the lot behind the building.

First time here and thought they had really great food and service. A small menu but everything we tried was top tier in taste and quality. The service was very attentive and friendly, although one minor gaffe, they forgot to mention the specials to our table which was too bad as we didnt hear about them (overheard from a nearby table) until after our meal was nearly finished. Another very minor issue for me was how dark it was in the dining room in the evening, it was a nice ambiance but it was so dim it was hard to see the beautiful looking food! But Im nit-picking: What we ordered was excellent & we will be sure to ask about the specials next time. Thanks for the great meal, we will be back!

The mushroom tacos were not bad, but they could be more creative and offer more vegan choices. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. It was VERY overpriced for the amount of food.

Amanda was the best waitress! My friend and I had gone there for our 1st time, but definitely not our last. We were planning our Nexican winter vacation and I figured this would go woth our theme. Best decision ever! We enjoyed the patio, the appetizer of shrimp ceviche, 4 non alcoholic margaritas since we are responsible drivers, tortilla soup, fish and pork tacos and some how we found room for the coconut cream pie! Everything was tasty, and fresh and service was welcoming. Its always nice when the owner finds time to say hello. Bottom line...you cannot go wrong here!

Right from the moment we opened the doors we knew we were in for a treat! The service was excellent and the food was divine. We were not rushed at all. My only complaint is that we were so full we could not order dessert!

At a time when eating out just isnt as exciting anymore.. Pepe and Lelas manages to bring back that magic with outstanding tasting food, servers that actually care and deserts that you somehow find space for even though youre super full...because they taste soo good.

Best experience ever. Food was amazing and staff absolutely awesome. Never had such great service with a smile. Even the owner went out of his way to have conversations with all the guests. And made sure you enjoyed everything. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered fish tacos for take out, it s over $25 for two tacos and all it came with was a couple pieces of fish, a cream sauce, and a couple tortillas lol. Very underwhelming, not sure how this costs over $25. Not even a cabbage slaw, salsa, or anything like that. It was still ok cause I was hungry but I m confused how this costs $25+. Most places at least give you a salsa or slaw or hot sauce or something.

Came here with my friend for a night out and things couldn t have been better!! The server was kind and made amazing recommendations. We were originally gonna get the cheese fundido but she convinced us to get the toast mushroom one, prob the best decision, it was very very good. The food was phenomenal and authentic. Only thing i would have to say is that they didn t have fish at the time which was disappointing but maybe next time. the tres leche was very tasty and the owner came over a couple times to make sure things were going smoothly. the place is very chic and well taken care of. Great place to have mexican!!

I booked a reservation here for six people, and I m glad I did. All the food was so good and everything was fresh. We all left absolutely stuffed. This place is wonderful!! The margaritas are so fresh and full of lime, the best I have ever had. The chips, guacamole and salsa were delicious and the tacos were great as well. The service was amazing, the staff very warm and welcoming, with Mexican music playing in the background. It was my birthday and they brought out a special treat and sang happy birthday. Went there for a birthday lunch with the office team of 7. Had no reservation and were seated promptly by our fantastic server, Amanda. The chips and guacamole were fresh, and homemade, the tacos and fundido for main was delicious and not to miss the churros for dessert. The calibre of restaurant that Burlington has always needed, the food, aroma and atmosphere are really something special a definite must try.

I have heard so many great things about Pepe and Lelas and it lived up to all our expectations. Loved the margaritas to start, along with the homemade house chips. Cheese fundido and beef tacos were fantastic. Our server was so kind and attentive and the atmosphere was great. Definitely looking forward to going back.

The manager has a big ego and does not know how to take the right tone with his customers. The waitresses are great but he ruined my brother s b day and we will not be going back.

The food was good, they have a nice small menu set up. The waitresses were really welcoming and friendly. It was all going great till the owner came out, he had an aura of ego around him. He spoke in a very rude way with my brothers in law, ruining our entire experience. Would only recommend dine in when he s not around (maybe call and ask lol) or just take out. Food is great. Owner, not so much. Cheers.

We were a team of 3 adults of German, Estonian and Singaporean backgrounds and two kids. The food was muy bien, especially the Fundidos. The Margaritas were intoxicating and made with fresh fruits of the season. The ambiance was Fiesta and our server Charliss was warm, cheerful and very accommodating. The owner Ricardo comes from Acapulco and shared snippets of his early days and background. Surprised our son with a birthday platter and impressed both the kids. Love the folks and the food!

Food is quasi Mexican and designed for the local Canadian crowd. First sign is , what Mexican restaurant serves Cajun sweet potato fries? My major bone to pick is .., 2 tacos and a beer $ 45 out the door?? This is robbery. Toronto has many options , more authentic, and more bang for your buck.

This restraunt is amazing, its a must do. We celebrated our engagement here and it is perfect for a special event. The funditos are great for sharing! This is the third time we have visited and the food is consistently amazing every time. The service is perfect, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. If you try the food here, you will keep craving it. Especially the mango salad!

I visited this established just this past weekend for a friends birthday. Atmosphere was warm and everyone in the restaurant seemed very engaged. The service was fairly quick and the severs were able to answers all the questions fairly easily. This really showed that the staff is well trained. The food itself was high quality and presented well. However, as I ordered the crispy fish tacos and the rest of the friend group ordered different tacos and fundidos. We found that the portion sizes are substantial smaller when comparing the same food from other restaurants. The food is priced quite high as well. This is the only downside that I experienced. If you think you will get large portions for the price of the food, you would be wrong. However, if you are looking to experience good quality food and do not care about the portion size and price. This place is a must.

This was our third time dining at Pepe and Lelas. It did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in and until you leave, it is an excellent experience. All of the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Its a great place for both families and date nights to large celebrations. We were served by Amanda. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and has incredibly warm personality with a great sense of humour. Amanda really connects well with the diners. We had the Ontario strawberry margarita and the house chips with guacamole to start. The margarita was so fresh and flavourful as was the guacamole. We split the chicken mole and crispy fish tacos. Both were bursting with amazing layers of flavour. We ended off the night with the lime and toasted coconut pie with coffee and espresso. I agreed to have a bite of the pie and let my husband have the rest. It turned into many delicious bites. The presentation of the pie is gorgeous as are all the different flavours. I highly recommend you make a reservation and experience this absolute gem of a restaurant. Im going to bring our kiddos over the summer because they are celiac and theres so many gf options. Terrific experience. The service was terrific server gave great recommendations to help our table of four have a variety of options. We had chips, guac and pico, then a mushroom fundito (so good), plus three different types of tacos with extra shells. Margaritas were sooo good!! Will definitely return!! If you are ever in the GTA, I highly recommend this place. The ingredients in every dish was incredibly fresh. Ive never tasted tortilla chips as fresh as it does here and then the salsa and the beef and pork in the tacos and the Tres Leches. Truly a meal that I never wanted to end. The service from the owner Ricardo and our host Amanda was fantastic. Constant care at our table and very pleasant team of staff here. Hands down the best Tres Leches Ive ever had anywhere. And last but not the least the decor is perfect. It sure has character. The margaritas were top notch!! Well be sure to come back to try your other dishes.

Lets start with the fact that if youre Latino, youll like it, and if youre not, youll surely feel welcome. My experience with the food was good; we didnt order much, but the taste of the food felt authentic without being pretentious. I would only recommend serving more guacamole (because it was very good). Drinks section: the Margaritas are excellent; theyre definitely their specialty! Dont leave without having one. The service: the staff are very friendly and do a great job of attending to you promptly! Overall, its an excellent place to spend an evening, chat, have some Margaritas, and enjoy. Special thanks to Mr. Ricardo for helping us find a table in his lovely restaurant.

Food is fresh, delicious and authentic. It s a bit pricey but you get QUALITY food. I live nearby and it s tempting not to come here every weekend! It s also family owned and the service is 10/10. Must try the margaritas and tacos!!!

Had dinner here with siblings and spouses - first time for me. Evening began with the perfect traditional margarita, although the blood orange one appealed to me too. Don t be fooled by the simple menu. Every item is beautifully presented, in addition to having complex and harmonious taste. The tortilla soup is a must. And save room for the churros for desert. We will absolutely be returning. Located just north of the QEW on Appleby. A great way to avoid the rush hour drive into Toronto. Parking: There is plenty of parking across the street if you don t get a spot in the lot attached.

Food was great, however portion sizes were slightly underwhelming. I had the Cochinita pibil which was amazing and had a subtle hit of smokiness at first that quickly dissipated into a somewhat overbearingly sweet but pleasant mouthfeel idrk how to explain it. For 23 dollars for two tacos food here comes at a high pricepoint. I was also kind of taken aback as there was only one tortilla instead of the usual two I have become accustomed to but they probably know alot more about how to serve tacos better than I do. Service here was a definite strongpoint, with an amicable and attentive server. Would definitely coming by atleast once but be warned portion sizes are small and prices are high.

Best margaritas around!!! Been a couple of times now - both times I felt the service was overwhelming. Way too many approaches to the table - it felt awkward. We felt rushed. Like we needed to hurry and eat/drink and get out. As a vegetarian there s only one taco option > mushrooms. I don t love mushrooms. Absolutely fantastic guac - OMG delicious. Should have just stuck with chips/guac and margaritas. Food is good - I just need more option as a vegetarian. Kind of expensive too. Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos. That s about all that I saw. Would have loved an enchilada option. Parking: Kind of tricky finding parking. Option to park across Appleby at the plaza. We had to park a few streets over. Both times that I visited.

The menu is limited, but it offers a delightful variety of Mexican classics, each bursting with flavor and made with care. The owner is originally from Mexico I believe and he is very humble and sweet. He told us that all the ingredients are fresh and organic and they dont use anything that comes in plastic or has preservatives! Every bite is a taste of culinary excellence. Our server was very friendly, smiling all the time, prompt and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience! We tried the mushroom tacos, chips with fresh salsa dip, spicy mango margarita, and the Tres Leches dessert can actually transport you to another universe it was soooooooo gooood! It s a true gem in Burlington!

This is by far the BEST Mexican food i have ever had. The good fortune to try it even beat a lot of the food i have had in Mexico The flavors and freshness are out of this world, and the staff couldnt be more friendly and efficient they made us feel welcome as if we were dining in their home, What a treasure to have this restaurant here in Ontario We will be back anytime we are passing through Burlington for sure

I was there this evening for a work event for the travel industry. Everyone who worked there had a smile on their face and was so welcoming. Sarah was our server and she was fabulous. The food was AMAZING. It was fresh and authentic Mexican cuisine. I would highly recommend it. I can t wait to go back with my family.

Loved the atmosphere the place! This was probably the best Mexican food Ive had in the Oakville/Burlington area. The chorizo fundido and the beef tacos were perfect - everything well made and you can taste the high quality of the ingredients. Besides the typical margaritas they have some mescal drinks which I highly recommend. Parking: Parking is behind the building.

I wanted to try this place because of all the good reviews, but left the place confused and disappointed. I ordered 4 tacos and a margarita and my bill was over $100. I m happy to pay that amount of money for great food, but at that price point, 4 soggy tacos did not meet my expectations. The flavours and ingredients were also nothing exciting. The only saving grace was the good service. I really wanted to like this place but it wasn t for me.

Food is not authentic but it is good. Highlight was the mocktail menu. I was pregnant when we visited and loved the virgin mojito. Expensive and tables are really close together. I didnt hate it but I was disappointed.

First time here and lovely spot! Had the taste of Burlington menu which had 2 vegetarian options as appetizer. I got the butternut squash soup without bacon and the mushroom poblano flautas for the main. Also had a drink and dessert.The server was able to answer all our questions and was very attentive. Really enjoyed the ambiance and food.

Went here for the first time and the atmosphere is very nice. I was excited to go here because the Google reviews were so good. Unfortunately my meal was not as tasty as I was expecting. The best part was the guac and chips.

This reminded me of why Michelin stars were invented. Hopefully, they have a rating because they deserve it. Also, a strong reminder of what youre missing out on when you choose fast food or typical North American food. If you dont give this place a go, youre seriously missing out. This restaurant exceeded our expectations by far! Everything on the menu was lovely from the Margaritta, apps, mains, and the dessert blew us away! I would come back just for that coconut cream lime pie. Wow def need to come check thus place out!!!

I went in with pretty high expectations after reading several reviews, but it still exceeded my expectations! Cute, intimate place. Our waitress was wonderful, the owner came by a couple times to make sure we were happy with everything. The food blew us away. We started with the chips with guacamole and salsa. The guacamole was SO good. The chicken mole tacos were absolutely incredible, and the tres leches cake was to die for. We also had a couple margaritas and these were delicious too. We will definitely return to try more of the menu! Highly recommend!

Disappointing. Menu extremely limited. Service was much too fast - felt like we were being rushed out the door...45 mins from sit down to exit. Drinks super expensive - $20 per margarita.

Wow, what an amazing place. First impression walking into the first dining room was that it was quaint, cozy and inviting. There are two dining rooms, the larger one in back are for reservations for larger groups, I suspect. The two times I dined here, my wife and I were in the first room. The atmosphere is very warm and the people are friendly. Bradley served us both times I was there and he was super duper. He always made sure our water or wine glasses were topped off. He made great suggestions and knew about everything on the menu. The menu is smaller than some places, but this was a good thing as you get a more refined selection of nice options. We had some fondu to start and then we ordered the lamb tacos and the chicken tacos. It seems like everything is made from scratch. Even when we ordered dessert I thought it would come out right away as normally restaurants just keep their desserts frozen. However it took few minutes and we finished with a fresh tres leches cake that was to die for. Thank you for the great food and service. See you again soon! I was absolutely blown way by the service and food here. The chorizo fundido was amazing and the barbacoa tacos were so tasty. I had one of their mezcal cocktails and it was also incredible. Everyone from entering to leaving was so polite. The owner and servers made us feel very welcome and had made great recommendations. I do want to comment on price as it seems to come up on some reviews. Yes its expensive, and yes you can get tacos and Mexican for less. But, and I stress this, the complete experience here is worth it. This is a more fine dining experience, the portions are generous, and the food and drink are a notch above. Looking forward to returning.

My girls and I decided to have a night out after almost a year of distance. Mexican wasnt my first thought however, my girlfriend heard of this place from another friend. I was a bit skeptical but I was so pleasantly surprised by everything! A nice little touch was the ambiance and Christmas decor. The food was well timed, fresh and delicious! Each item is sharable so we ordered a few things. Items were a bit pricey but I felt it was well worth it because it was so tasty! The waiter we had was also very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Been on my radar for a while and didnt disappoint! Best guac Ive had, the sweet potato fries are uniquely amazing, and how do they make the aioli so fluffy??? Everyone was blown away by the food, and the margaritas are superb. Certainly the best Mexican restaurant within 30km, maybe even more. And not to mention our server was incredibly helpful and nice.

This is our go to for authentic, flavourful, Mexican meals. Each bite is so good! Seasonal margarita drinks are highly recommended here too! The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Staff are incredible. A 5 star restaurant for sure! And if you are looking for a fun patio restaurant in the warmer months - this is the place!

I have gone to Lela and Pepe a handful of times. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries, arugula salad, and beef tacos! Servers are always friendly and attentive. One downside is that they take away the appetizers too quickly, making me feel like I have to rush.

This place was beyond my expectations. We tried almost everything on the menu and every item was absolutely delicious. Our waiter and the owner Richardo was also extremely hospitable! You can tell there is a lot of thought behind every dish. They made our experience an excellent one. Will definitely be back for more mouth watering tacos!!

The menu selection for Taste of Burlington was great. My sister and I enjoyed our lunch and sampled from each as well. Our server Brooklyn was very attentive and responsible. We also met the owner a very nice person. Dietary restrictions: Confirmed in person that neither of us had any allergies.

It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be coming back. The Chorizo Fundido is dangerous, and we could eat any of the tacos all night. Add friendly and thoughtful service, a welcoming environment, and locally-sourced ingredients, and whats not to love?

Delicious meal and great service! The margaritas were very delicious! I had their special flavor which was blood orange and it was delicious. The beef tacos were fantastic and the poblano funditto was also very tasty. Everything we had was of very good quality.

We had the lamb and the chicken mole tacos, lime margaritas and lime toasted coconut pie and a cappuccino. If you love key lime pie get the lime toasted coconut pie, its awesome! A nice spot for good tacos but the star is easily the homemade tortilla chips, they are great. Tomatillo sauce was also great. The patio isnt that nice and almost directly in the sun but worth trying for sure! Try the Pina colada, you wont be disappointed

I tried these recommended dishes:. Nachos (salsa and guacamole) $33 Fish tacos $31 Lamb tacos $35 Everything was home made and I hope this family owned business succeeds. To summarize, the food isnt special, but youll pay a special price. A few notes: The beets are pickled, but please drain them before adding to my taco. About a half shot of liquid poured off my fish taco and splashed on my plate. The picture is just from one taco. I usually prefer a single shell taco, but the lamb taco needs to be doubled up. It fell apart and I couldnt risk putting it down. A ton of food lamb, but it should be half the amount at more then half the price. This would better utilize topping and sauces. As a side note: share like we did and come with a larger group, since three of one flavored taco will be too much of the same thing for and individual. At 33 bucks the salsa and guac need to be above average. Perhaps roast the salsa ingredients to infuse smoke, or do a chunky tableside guac.

Great place. Their food is some of the best Ive had here in Canada (which can be hard to find). Its a bit pricey, but you get quality ingredients, nicely sized portions, and great service. Best taco spot in Burlington. Parking: The spots are a bit limited, you park around the back near the entrance to the parking garage.

Best Mexican Ive had in Canada

What a cute little Mexican place near my house. I used to pass by it al the time and it s at the bottom of a senior residential building I assumed it was the lobby of the senior building. One day I passed by and saw people sitting in the patio area and they served food. So I decided to Google the place and saw so many great reviews and decided to make reservations with my daughters. I didn t write a review the first time but loved it. This is my second visit with a friend. The seating is not huge inside so make sure you make reservations! Luckily in the summer there s a cute patio seating area with lots of umbrellas. It was a perfect day to sit outside today but was super windy and my menu kept flying away so we decided to seat indoors instead. The ambiance is warm and inviting with vibrant colours to represent the Mexican culture. The owner came by our table when we came the first time and told us about how he came about naming the restaurant Pepe and Lela. It s actually his 2 daughters names. So cute! It s family owned and they serve fresh, organic ingredients. The menu was limited but I love that! Stick with limited items and be great at those dishes! Service: Our server s name was Bradley he s fantastic. He s so nice and patient and made some amazing recommendations for us to try. We were there for over 3 hours and with time limit at most restaurants these days they didn t kick us out which was appreciated. Based on Bradley s recommendation we had the mango margarita which is made with fresh mango juice. Omg it s was so tasty and dangerous since I can have 10 of these if I wasn t driving!! We started off with the fresh tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole. So good. Then we couldn t decided what tacos to get it came in pairs. Between 2 of us we ordered 3 orders of Tacos and had 3 tacos between us. It was super filling but super yummy. My fav in order was the steak skirt tacos, then the fried fish tacos it was lightly battered and crispy and then finally pull chicken tacos. All was excellent!! I wish my belly was bigger so I can have the soup and sweet potato fries or the cheese dip! We had just enough room for dessert. We ended our meal with what Bradley recommended the Trea Leche strawberry cake to share. Omg it was amazing. I wouldn t say the price was cheap for tacos but for the quality it s well worth the price. We spent around $170 for both of us with tax and tip. All in all love this place so much and will be coming back over and over again !

Great service and atmosphere and incredible food. We were greeted and served with kindness. Very prompt service as well. We got the mole tacos, chorizo fundito and the coconut lime pie. It was one of the best meals we have had in a while. Tons of margarita options too! The strawberry margarita was amazing!

WOW! We had a fantastic experience tonight. This was our first time eating here as a friend recommended that we try it. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our server was so friendly and had a great sense of humor which is hard to find at restaurants today. We didnt get his name but we think he looks like Aaron Rogers! There was another gentleman that was also very friendly and explained the Mexican cuisine to us as this was our first time experiencing mexican cuisine. We cant wait to go back and try another dish. We also had churros but I forgot to take a picture as we were too eager to try them. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely dining experience at Pepe & Lela s today. We were warmly greeted immediately by two members of their staff upon arrival. The space is nicely decorated and clean with plenty of natural light. Our server recommended some seasonal features items and we ended up ordering a salad (made with grilled Ontario peaches and roasted Ontario sweet corn) which was extremely delicious! Beef tacos were filled with so much topping it was hard to eat (not complaining about that!) Sweet potatoes were good but I wished they only salted them and served without sugar. I ll make sure to ask for that mod next time. We ll be back for sure. Parking: Behind the building, parking entrance on Ironstone.

This is likely the best Mexican I ve ever had. I could not recommend it more, everything was delicious and service was great. Reasonably priced for a ton of food. Don t pass on the churros! Vegetarian options: Mushroom taco available

Ordered steak tacos, ended up getting ground beef tacos doused in Chipotle. Tasted like canned Dog food. Only someone whos never eaten real tacos would consider this place good. It was absolutely disgusting and a waste of 26 bucks. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Be prepared to enjoy the best margaritas in town! As a Mexican living abroad, I can say the food is nearly as tasty as back home. Only con is the tortillas get soggy very quickly but I trust theyll find a way to make them better!

This place is very beautiful and gives a very intimate atmosphere. The food is terrible. We had the chips and guac to start and the the guac was very lemony with zero flavor.. the fish taco had literally no seasoning and was just bland. The Margarita was basically lemon juice. The owner came and asked how the food was and I explained to him that the guac could use a little less lemon and instead of just taking critics and either ignore or improve he had a terrible attitude talking about thats how favorite recipe. I would not go back there but you could give a try.

Read great reviews on this place - we always pass by, so decided to give it a try. It was terrible overall. Started w guac and chips and sweet potato fries- they were not bad my 2 toddlers ate the sweet potato fries as they have no other options for kids no kids menu. Though our mains were awful!! We got the fish tacos and lamb tacos. The moment the fish tacos were placed e infront of me it was very overcook and had a high aroma of old oil - the lamb was drenched in a green sauce and was soggy. It was terrible we will not be returning. I have to mention both my husband and I felt really ill shortly after dining there.

This is our new favorite Mexican eatery! The owner Ricardo is very kind and personable and our server Bradley was thoughtful, charming and gracious. The food is amazing especially the fundidos (mushroom and chorizo in particular.) The house chips and guacamole are also delicious. The whole feast is best finished with a strawberry tres leches cake which is pretty spectacular as it is created with much care. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, a wonderful experience! Thank you!!

I came here tonight for dinner with zero prior knowledge of what Pepe and Lela s is and left with a fully satisfied full stomach! Our server Bradley was very helpful explaining each dish and answering any questions. As well he provided great service making sure we were all happy and all timings of the dishes aligned well. He started us with chips with guac and salsa and immediately offered delicious margaritas. They had lime, mango, pineapple and then also a berry hibiscus margarita and between my family we all got to taste a little of each one. I d totally suggest the berry hibiscus or mango margaritas for anyone wondering. Onto the mains, we chose to get a plate of tacos consisting of an order of shredded chicken mole and cochinita pibil (pork shoulder) as well as tortilla soup and also chorizo sausage fundidos. The tacos were amazing and flavourful and very messy. On first glance it seems like the tacos are on the pricey side but they are a large portion and extremely filling. The fundidos were the star of the show as it wasn t a traditional fondue that you d think of but basically a big bubbling dish of cheese. From there you add it to tortillas with toppings and it becomes amazing gooey treat. After the mains, we decided to all get a different dessert and share them. This included the tre leches cake, a spicy chocolate cheesecake and the lime and coconut pie. I could eat this lime pie every day and not regret one thing! All in all, I will be coming back again. Service is amazing and the food is even better! Vegetarian options: A good number of vegetarian options but the only veggie taco includes mushrooms Dietary restrictions: The menu has clearly identifiable vegan and gluten free symbols Parking: Parking is just behind the building and had quite a few spots.

This is definitely The Mexican Eatery to try, if you are looking for amazing and authentic flavours of México. I struggled for years trying to find a place that was truly a taste of home and here it is! It is tastefully decorated, I love to see all the little details that represent our culture, the beautiful pictures on the wall, the traditional music, the warm and friendly service... if you have been in Mexico the whole experience definitely will transport you back to this beautiful spot in the world. We have been here plenty of times, we have brought friends and family and everyone has been blown away by the food, the margaritas and the whole dining experience. I believe we have tried everything in the menu and everything its just amazing, great food quality, great portions, amazing flavours, beautifully plated. Delicious food. Hands down the best Mexican food Ive had. Had the lamb tacos which were divine. The home made hot sauce was very tasty and I had to get a second helping of it. The Margarita were also so good. I had a freshly squeezed guava juice one and finished it fast. The place is well decorated and had a good layout. We were their at sunset and the sunlight done come right into the restaurant, good for sunsets, not so good if youre at the table where it shines into your eyes, I suggest they get some blinds. (but sunset is over quickly, so dont worry about it; the food is worth it). Very well staffed place, always felt looked after.
