I love the vegan options here! The shepherd s pie is incredibly flavorful and delicious. However during my last visit, it was quite loud, which made it difficult to communicate with our server who came across as a bit aggressive. Aside from that I found this location to be very clean and well-organized

Dined here on Friday November 23rd had a great experience. Ive ate at many Keg locations for over 10 years, the food and service was up to its standards. Matt provided great service, very polite and professional. One thing I love about The Keg is the level of service, the servers are very professional compared to other restaurants.

Had dinner at The Keg in Burlington and ordered the medium TERIYAKI SIRLOIN steak. It was slightly overcooked compared to the one I loved at the Hamilton location. Also, my second glass of rosé was forgotten until I reminded them. Good food, but service could be improved.

I was looking for prime rib which The Keg advertises, so I made reservations for Tuesday night - first time available was 6:15. Our waitress was Carollyne, who was very friendly and attentive. Prime rib classic that I had was perfect. My wife chose the blackened chicken which she enjoyed. Only drawback for us was the loud music. Softer music would have heightened the experience.

I ve visited The Keg Steakhouse in Burlington a few times, but last night s experience was particularly pleasant. The ambiance, as always, is fantastic inviting and warm. We started the evening with martinis at the bar, which added to the great setting and vibe. The service throughout the night was excellent attentive and friendly. The food was good overall, though I did find my teriyaki steak a little tougher than usual, which was a bit disappointing compared to previous visits. While it isn t a cheap night out, it s totally worth the money spent compared to other restaurant venues. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere make The Keg a solid choice for a night out. We ll definitely be back!

I had take out and of course the food was solid. The steak was amazing, mushrooms delicious, they re quite consistent with the quality of food they serve. My only issue is that the whipped butter I was given for my bread smelled rancid. Maybe it was what they added to it that made it smell but I found it extremely unpleasant. Prime rib was delicious. My girlfriend got Sirloin Oscar which was also perfect. Our server was excellent. Everything was great.

This location has gone down hill ! Seating was a disaster! Food quality poor ! Veg served black ! Steak tastes Under cooked , small . Thrown back under grill came out like rubber Duty Manager aware didn t seem to care . Birthday celebration ruined! Sad to say after being a loyal customer for years I won t return! Two bad meals this year !

Orders 3 steak diners for my wife s bday. Unfortunately, overall experience was a 4/10 for following reasons; 1. My wife s steak was supposed to be cooked to medium well, but unfortunately was cooked to medium rare. 2. All three double baked potatoes were dry, as they left too much potato in, instead of pulling out all the meat and mashing etc. 3. The bread was ice cold and cheese butter was gross, please give option to have regular butter. Sadly will be last time we order from Burlington Keg.

Our servers were good. Sadly, the food was not. The standards have gone way down, as have portion size. Also, I felt tricked by my steak. I asked what Oscar meant, the server said it came with scallops and shrimp in a hollandaise sauce, and pointed to it in the add-on menu. But the steak I ordered was called steak Ala Oscar, so one would assume it comes ON the steak, hence the name. When my bill came, there was an additional $12.99 on the bill for the Ala Oscar... Anyway, fair to say, I will not be going back...way too expensive for what was served. It wasnt even plated well. It looked like it had been thrown onto the plate.

Celebrated our 45 th anniversary today as we have done each year at the Keg ! Thirty five in Toronto and ten here in Burlington ! All the family and grandsons ! Great evening . Our server , Sarah was the best ! So congenially , handling all the orders and the four grandsons . Thanks again . John and Cathy and family ! Kid-friendliness: Four grandsons enjoyed the meal although not to sure about seeing my son having the lobster ! lol. Again , our server was great with them !

We always go to the keg, however this was the first time at this location. The food once again was great, no issues there. It was the service that was bad, we had to wait 30 minutes for our food to be ordered, an hour for it to arrive, then could not get a drink or water refill for two hours until we waved someone down, had to ask for a desert menu after the plates were taken and finally we ended up paying by getting up and taking the bill to the front. Awful experience

Our server Todd was fantastic! He was personable, kind and had a great sense of humour. I got the prime rib steak dinner and it was perfectly cooked, moist and well seasoned. Its expensive as youd expect the Keg to be, but what a great place to go for a nice outing every now and again!

We had no idea of the Happy Hour at The Keg! What luck! We had a wonderful voldka martini with olives to start. The bartender was amazing. I was exhausted just watching him! The appetizer of tuna tartare was fresh and delicious. We moved on to the prime rib sandwich, which was excellent (the aus jus was a bit weak). Wayne had a hamburger that he found so moist. It did look wonderful! I will be hitting up the happy hour more often. Great dinner overall!! Parking: Lots of parking behind. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.

Hillary and Roy, Thank you very much for the amazing service. My husband and I ordered a streak each and although they were both a little chewy (and we were running out of time to get back to the kids) the Manager Roy was adamant to make sure we left happy. Our server Hillary made a wonderful recommendation on our wine and she was very sweet and attentive. We are very glad we chose the Keg to spend our 3 year anniversary :)

Went here with a friend as I was ranting and raving about their nachos. Shes never had them before, and theyre literally the BEST nachos youll ever have in your life. Seriously, not kidding. Order it with the beef, you wont be disappointed !

We come here a lot. The Keg has always been a favourite of mine. Tonight we went for my 40th birthday. I have to say this was the WORST service we have ever had anywhere. I don t even have words for how disappointed I was tonight. My reservation stated it was my birthday.. not once (During being seated or greeted by our waiter) were we asked if we were celebrating anything special. We waited an hour for appetizers.. another hour before we were asked for our orders (despite our waiter walking right past our table multiple times) then waited for at least another 45 minutes for our mains to come out. I ordered the steak and lobster.. my meal came without lobster. This was the last straw. I finally asked to speak to the manager, who was very nice. And just basically told him how disappointed we were with tonight s service. He said he would take care of it and was apologetic, but at this point the mood was already ruined. There was no acknowledgement from our server at all. A couple things were removed off the bill.. which is a nice gesture, but not what we were after. All in all this was just such a disappointing night at the Keg. We won t be back to this location any time soon.

The best Keg service and food I have experienced. Our waiter, Jason was very impressive. Everything came out fast, hot and perfect.

Attended the Keg for an anniversary dinner, which I had indicated on our Open Table reservation (option to select if and what you are celebrating). The staff congratulated us on our anniversary upon arrival, which made the night special. Our server Andrew was amazing. Very quick, knowledgeable, and made the effort known re: an allergy. One of the best dinner experiences I have had.

Never been to The Keg before being a Yank. However, excellent establishment. The service was superb and the food not too bad. The Canadians are lucky to have such an option.

Love The Keg! Steak is always cooked perfectly and never disappoints! Our favourite restaurant! A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for!

Horrible experience, me and my kids visit this location we got the nachos with chicken (always are starter) well this time around was horrible we ordered the nachos and when we got then they had the longest black hair which was disgusting. We let the server know and the manager came to over and ask if we like something else I was over it but the kids was hungry so I said no we won t get any nachos we just order entrees so we did and by the way it was my daughters birthday in two days so we was out for that special occasion. When the complimentary bread came out it was hard as a rock, so we asked for another the waiter got us another but he seemed very annoyed with us. When the manager offered us something else of the menu we just did entrees the waiter told us no we couldn t get the entrees so I advised him to get the manger again and he said that s fine, we waited for over 45 mins and our food, it didn t not come, and the waiter never came back to check on us so we just got up and left, we did advise the manager the wait was to long and we had more arrangements to attend to. I have been to many Keg locations and this is definitely the WORST location.

We had a wonderful dining experience. We were celebrating the engagement of our daughter and chose The Keg for them, I am a vegetarian and have not frequented this restaurant. I checked the menu before making a reservation and there were a few choices for me, so we booked. The blackened chicken and the filet were fabulous. Lindsey, our waitress, made the night great. Thank you. Vegetarian options: My original order was for vegetarian shepherds pie, but that was not available and chose the meatloaf which I found very salty and did not like the Chipotle sauce.

Always gave enjoyed my steak at the keg. They make it just the way you ask for UT yo be cooked. Their fresh baked bread with garlic butter is another reason I enjoy going there. There is one suggestion I would love to give them ...please dont stuff the steak plate with the fries if that Id the side order as it takes away from the experience of eating a good steak at a classy place. For that one moment I felt I was at mid market franchise steak house. Serve it as elegantly you can with fires on a side plate . Nonetheless I love this place, their choice of IPA and the wines they serve.

Grace h did a great job tonight and made my family members birthday very memorable. I was very happy with the drinks and food and having members of the table with complex allergies everything went so smooth. I highly recommend the Keg and its service to any potential patron

Baseball sirloin, that is all.Excellent service, lovely staff (especially the hilarious Steph and her hunky husband Matt), the freshly charred meats delicious (baseball sirloin is highly recommended), but be wary of the drinks as theyll creep up on you and next thing you know youre on your 3rd bottle of Malbec, your wife is drinking straight from the bottle, the aforementioned staff is now horrified (see attached picture), and nobody is bringing you that free slice of Billy Miner pie (so good) because you said BIRTHDAY too loudly when they asked if your visit tonight was a special occasion. We loved our dinner tonight for our wedding anniversary. Andrew is an exceptional server who enhanced our dining experience with attentive service and a friendly demeanor. He anticipated our needs promptly and offered excellent recommendations. His knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm made our visit memorable. Andrews professionalism and hospitality truly stood out.

My dad visited for 2 weeks and wanted to eat here 4-5 nights within that time frame. The service is good, the vibe is nice and the food is tasty. The fries could be better and crispier but overall a good dinner guaranteed.

Made the mistake of not making a reservation, thinking it was a Thursday evening , but were lucky to get patio seating. The staff was wonderful.

Way above average staff. Many restaurants could take their training from the Keg staff. From the kids at the front desk that seat you to the several servers that brought our dinners, this place continues to be first class. Food, service, atmosphere, experience, all top end! Kudos to management and ownership who hire good staff, train well, and hopefully enumerate well. Cheers.

great food, decent service. however, we came in with $100 gift card and our bill was $92, of course we tipped what was left on the gift card because we didn t have any extra cash on us. while paying, our 2 servers stared at the machine while we paid and when we put in the tip amount they proceeded to look at each other and start laughing and rolling their eyes. i understand we tipped under 15%, but as someone who has worked at restaurants for almost my entire working life, one of the main ideas in the serving industry is that you don t watch the machine while the guest is paying. what did you want us to do ask you to add $5 onto our bill and have them tell us they couldn t do that? it was incredibly unprofessional and rude and if we would ve known they were going to act so arrogant we wouldn t have tipped at all. after this, they handed us our gift card with a smug look and said there s 34 cents left on that - no thankyou, no have a good night, nothing. then proceeded to say thankyou so much! have a goodnight to our friend who tipped more.

The top sirloin steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, showcasing excellent seasoning and preparation, but cold garlic mashed potato and not tasty vegetables on side! Overall, the steak is highly recommended, but the sides could use some improvement.

We have always enjoyed the Keg but our last dinner there was not stellar. Normally the Keg is our go to place.

We celebrated my 65th birthday with dinner here, and absolutely loved it! Excellent, attentive, and friendly service, delicious food, comfy booth, and we could hear each other well to carry on conversations. The free Billy Miner pie for my birthday just put the icing on the whole thing! I enjoyed it with an Irish coffee. I highly recommend it! >^..^<

Yesterday my family and I went to this restaurant. Weve always liked their service and food. Yesterday the staff helped us by combining our two reservations into one table, and our waiter was very good and friendly as always. However, when we were served our dishes and started eating, we realized we were missing a plate for sharing. I raised my hand and asked another waiter for help, but he responded in a somewhat unfriendly manner, asking, What do you want? When I explained that I needed a plate, his reaction was one of annoyance. He took a plate from another table and threw it onto ours. It was an uncomfortable moment for everyone at the table, but we didnt want to ruin the evening and continued with our dinner. At the end of the night, I approached the manager and told him what happened. I emphasized that we didnt want to cause trouble, but its important for service staff not to react this way, as it can spoil a family gathering.

Food was really good, option for grass fed meat is non existent. No organic options. Price is what you d expect from the keg. A little loud, but lighting was nice.

I have dined at several different Keg restaurants many times. More recently I have found the Burlington Kegs kitchen to be struggling. For example, I typically order the same menu item cooked the same way but it has arrived either under or over cooked each time. As well, people at my table who ordered the same steak cooked the same way have had one arrive undercooked and the other overcooked. I have also had the incorrect side arrive on my plate and/or an additional side that I didnt order. These are not end of life issues but they do point to inexperienced or overworked kitchen staff. And, it has encouraged me to try some other restaurant options. I will add that the service part of the Burlington Keg experience has continued to be exemplary.

Paul provided some of the best service we have ever received anywhere. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel right at home. The food was amazing! Peppercorn NY strip was perfectly cooked. My son loved the garlic mashed potatoes so much!

Never disappoints !

This was our 2nd time dining at this particular location. Like our first time, we stopped here for our final dinner out in Canada before heading home and was not disappointed. Steaks came out perfect which can be hit or miss when I have dined out at other reputable steakhouses, not named The Keg in the past. It is just nice to find a place that is consistently good when traveling.

By far the best steak Ive ever eaten! It was perfectly cooked and soooo tender it melted in my mouth. The staff were awesome, friendly and courteous, and best of all, no long waits for refills. The Keg will always be my go to place for an awesome steak!

Had a really nice dinner for my girlfriend s birthday dinner with her family. Service was fantastic and paid attention to detail! Was a great Enviroment, the staff was so nice and pleasant to be around. Our server I think his name was Jared is an amazing dude class act of person. Always checked up on us and made us feel at home. Food came out perfect not a complaint! It was an excellent time and I will be back! Recommend this place to all!

Our server Mark was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had the Keg Burger, and it was the best burger I have ever eaten. You can always tell when the person that cooks your food actually loves what they do for you because you can taste it in the food. I didnt get the name of the chef, but I did tell Mark to let them know how much we loved our food. Greatly appreciated.

I ve never had a bad experience here. Last time I was here, I came with my mom and my baby. The staff took the time to entertain my baby, and accommodated us with seating. Steaks cooked to perfection.

Would love to try this location! Even to first have a drink and check out the ambience. Always enjoy The Keg. Supposed to close at 10:00pm but at 9:27pm the doors were locked. I understand small independent restaurants and little mom and pop pubs often close early to save money, but never thought a place as prestigious as The Keg would spontaneously close early and with no way for customers to know -- particularly those of us who drive 15 mins to get there.

Sometimes/usually packed... sometimes good... sometimes off... sometimes great!! Sometimes... ... ... Overall... will return again. Its probably not easy dealing with massive line ups, orders a big menu etc!!

As a vegan, its always a little shady going to a steak house however the Keg has two delicious vegan options that are phenomenal. I also ordered a side of mushrooms and they gladly prepared it in oil instead of butter. Very accommodating place

Took some guests for a meal at the Keg Burlington back on Dec 10, 2023. I have decided to post this now as the corporate office in Vancouver has not answered my calls. We had the Prime Rib Dinner and our guests had the 7oz Filet dinners. Our guests seemed to enjoy their dinners however our Prime Rib Dinners were unacceptable. Tough, chewy, sinuey, completely void of taste. The broccoli was cold and hard as a rock, as if it had never been cooked. I was too embarrassed to complain in front of our guests so I let it go. So if someone from the Keg reads this, your customers are important, no one wants overpriced, tasteless, chewy food.

We decided last minute with no reservation and it was busy, waited only 15 minutes and they sat us in the dining area, the service was excellent always making sure our glasss were full the food was perfect nice and hot and cooked to perfection.It was truly a magic night out for dinner! Ordered takeout today and was shocked at some of the portion sizes! The biggest disappointment was the Billy miner pie. It was half the size you would get dining in.

Not happy with the service at this location. Made a reservation for a table at 7:15 only to find out when we arrived that our table was given away to another person that showed earlier. They then tried to seat us in the bar/lounge because our table was given away. When you make a reservation and go through the time to confirm it should be for the dining area not sitting in the bar to enjoy a nice quiet meal. We always love coming here and have never had this happen however we then had to wait additional 30 minutes after our reservation. The staff at the front then tried to say that when making a reservation it s not specific to dining area however I believe the bar lounge should be for those that don t make the effort to make a reservation.

Dining at The Keg is always a delightful experience that never fails to impress. The exceptional service and consistently high-quality food make it a top choice for a satisfying meal. My go-to dish, the prime rib, cooked to a perfect medium, was a lean and tender delight. Despite my initial concern about the remarkably low fat content (see the photo - I like and expect fatty prime rib,) the well-seasoned meat and flavourful au jus hit all the right notes. The Kegs attention to detail and delicious offerings truly make it a standout dining destination.

Booked a month and a half before Valentine s to get a card table to sit at. Absolutely no ambiance! Potatoes resembled slop, meat was not cooked to order and side dishes were not served as per menu. Very disappointed!

Noisy table next to stairs. Felt like I was in Tim Horton s. 8 ounce top sirloin tough and grissly. Broccoli bland. Iceberg wedge outstanding. Potato excellent.

Ive always used the Keg as my goto, extra special dinners, be it business or in this case a very special friend I once proposed to 40 plus years ago. My 1st proposal, my 2nd proposal I married someone else. My lesson even though my romatic adventures have included the Keg, never settle for second best. I moved in with my future wife 2 weeks after walking away from my first love after being told no. Ive been separated from my wife of 26 years, we split in 2006. Oh well, I reconnected in 2016 with the one. She was divorced, single from 08 to 14 and remarried. Dam missed my opportunity. I took my very special friend way back when I was in my 20s. Recently I have made our christmas present to each other dinner at the Keg. She brings her daughter, we exchange gifts and enjoy a wonderful meal. I will wish or friendship will last forever, always including the Keg each christmas aswell as other times we go out for dinner. Lol she can never hold against me a bad dinner. My last words on this topic, Dam the lobster was INCREDIBLE, so sweet and delicious, prime rib a perfect medium rare. Thanks for the memories. Looking forward to the next time. Cheers

Went here for my birthday dinner, and the food was amazing! Was sad to hear that the brie is taken off the menu! That is definitely a downfall. I felt the atmosphere to be ok. It was hard to get by tables because all the tables are so close together. I felt the restaurant to be open concept and not very private for romantic dinners. The service was amazing though!

Always great food, great service. Its always a little too dark for me, though. Prices have definitely gone up. I would prefer maybe just a touch more light.

Our server, Matt, was fantastic; the food, decor, and atmosphere were perfect. It was hard to eat on the oval table. There were no hangers for our coats; we were setting far from the door, but it still got so cold every time it was opened. Reserving the table was very easy the staff was very friendly. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

We went to the Keg for our 9th year anniversary. They did not ask us if we were celebrating anything. You go to The Keg to celebrate.. Front desk asked if we had a reso Not very professional. Had a little bit of attitude when I said no. Its a Sunday at 8PM and not busy. We got seated at the back where the windows and patio door were. It was freezing! Food was decent and the server was a sweetheart.

Michelle was our server, and they were phenomenal. Timed perfectly and never felt rushed.

Always delicious! My husband and I tried the shareable sides this time - the Caesar brussel sprouts, keg Mac n cheese, and onion rings. We ordered too much food but it was all amazing!

I recently dined at The Keg Steakhouse & Bar and had an exceptional experience. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the calamari appetizer was a delightful start to the meal. We went to the Keg and I had some issues with the food. The manager and waiter were fabulous and took care of the problem. The waiter was extremely nice and in the end I was very happy about how I was treated. I dont complain much but they made me feel at ease . Its what you expect from a good restaurant

Perfect experience from start to finish. Atmosphere, service, and perfectly cooked food. Dietary restrictions: Easy to navigate menu for a gluten avoiding Celiac. Good selection of choices and knowledgeable staff.
