We went for an early dinner and were surprised to be able to take advantage of the happy hour menu from 4-6. Availability on the half-price bottles of wine was excellent. Food was delicious and service was attentive. Would definitely come back again.

This was my second visit to this establishment. Both times were fantastic. Our server, was attentive but not bothersome, helpful with menu questions and was just overall pleasant to interact with. The lighting was just dim enough to be cozy and comfortable. The background music volume was just loud enough that you couldn t hear other tables and quiet enough to not interrupt our conversation. The food was excellent. I will definitely be going back.

Our waiter Lefty was very friendly and the atmosphere was warm, inviting and charming, however the service was very slow. Im not sure what caused the delay but we were at our table for just over an hour before we had a single morsel of food. That said, once the food arrived we were all very pleased with the quality. The sushi was very fresh, probably some of the best sushi weve ever had. Our steaks were fantastic and the smashed potato side that Lefty recommended was delicious; asparagus side was also perfectly cooked. Overall, Id definitely give it another try, but the speed of service really needs improvement.

Second time my pal Brian and I have been here. Incredible! Our server Lefty was fun, knowledgeable and his suggestions were bang on! Our dishes were sculpted exquisitely and tasted second to none. Went here for dinner and was not impressed at all...my date got the surf and turf which below average and I got the beef wellington which was also just average. If it was reasonably priced I wouldnt complain but for the price they charge I expected more especially as someone who knows how to cook good. Will not be back

I went this weekend with a friend and had a fantastic experience! I really enjoyed their calamari and French onion soup both were delicious. The Aperol Spritz and Campari Spritz were spot on, too. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and our waitress was awesome friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place to dine!

I took my girlfriend there for her birthday. We had a fantastic time. The service we had was great, especially from Kris the manager. He provided great service, explained everything in detail and made sure we had a great experience.

The service here was AMAZING, I cant recall my servers name but she was simply fantastic. I was concerned about the bleu whipped potatos (not a fan of blue cheese) and she spoke to the chef and had a sample brought (not something I normally expect at an establishment like this). I was so happy about this because they were delicious and I wouldve avoided them had she not done this for me. Had the surf and turf, grab and steak were both perfect. The drinks were top notch as well! Not a cheap meal but you get what you pay for and the quality here was outstanding!

We just celebrated my 40th birthday at Prime Saturday night and I couldn t have asked for a better restaurant to ring in the milestone. Tallon and Daytona were the most amazing servers and made our entire large group feel so welcomed! They were both so on their game with so many orders to deal with and were constantly on it, keeping everyone s orders front and centre! That s no easy task. The food was soooooo good. I can t even describe how amazing the steak I had was. As well as all the apps and sides. Kris was fantastic in helping coordinate with me to host the night and the restaurant was so accommodating when we had a couple extras join late. I can t say enough good things about our experience and will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything, the entire crew! A+++++

Risotto and broccolini excellent. 6oz striploin was fine. Scallops a bit on the small side (3/$24). Complimentary creme brule (birthday) was a bit undercooked and we were offered a sorbet to replace but were so full we had to refuse. I ve been to prime a few times. First time was excellent service and raw bar. The last few times I went for happy hour, I noticed the raw bar quality good but the quantity seemed smaller. I get that the resto industry got hit hard but find ways to still give quality and quantity. I went yesterday to enjoy happy hour on the patio and ordered the usual oysters and salmon sashimi. The oysters good but really small. The sashimi yummy but had 2 decent sized pieces and one half piece that was abit butchered. I mentioned it to the waitress but was still willing to order more. She brought me it and I got 4 more half sizes notating that the chef threw in an extra one. I love my sashimi and know what a decent size should be. This was tiny, half the size of average pieces and width of my pinky finger. I didn t say anything and just paid my bill. Drinks ok but in the past didn t get right and took too long during dinner service. Disappointed too many times now and won t ever go back. I wish I took photos but didn t. Save your money. Sorry Prime, your quality can be good but giving what feels like scraps is not good. I m a new local and I used to recommend your happy hour to everyone but won t anymore. I can give a compliment to the service, that s all.

I made a reservation for four people. The guys had amazing steaks while the ladies had the black cod. All of our meals were memorable. Fun atmosphere and excellent staff. Highly recommended!

This is the best restaurant in Burlington, hands down!! From the atmosphere to the customer service to every single bite, this exceeded all expectations. We love Oysters, and the chapel creek were our fav! As well as the risotto (which you see pictured, was done before I could even get a photo of it) My fiancé had the steak frites (best he s ever had) Chef was super accommodating and transparent with all allergies, greeted at the door very pleasantly and the server we had (Amelia) was very knowledgeable and professional. Went for a nice family dinner. The service was exceptional and yet is was not as good as the food. The restaurant is in a very good location. I will be considering this reraurant for future meals, events and special occasions. I recommend to anyone in the area. The steaks were cooked well and I recommend the ribeye. We went here on recommendation of my sister for my birthday. We chose happy hour and tried every item on the nibbles menu. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are very attentive and answer any questions. Now, my husband and I love oysters and Sashimi and for the pricing reasonable. It was beautifully displayed (of course too excited and forgot to take pictures lol), and looks just like pics on website. Would not hesitate to recommend for a special occasion. We sat at the bar and I need to say that our bartender/server was exemplary! Amelia (Emilia?) was so pleasant and accommodating. She apologized for being new but was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with EVERYTHING on the menu. We had planned on just staying for a drink but ended up staying for dinner as it was so fun. We went to Prime for dinner on Mothers Day. Our reservations were for 6:30 but due to changes in our schedule we showed up at 5:30. They had advertised an individual beef wellington, my reason for going. We showed up to our meal one hour early and the first thing the waitress said was that they were sold out of the beef wellington. What a disappointment. I had the Cornish hen. The food was good but it wasnt the beef wellington. My husband ordered the lobster bisque and when the waitress brought his appetizer she told him it was the last portion of that feature. What a disappointment to come here and not get the featured meal I had my heart set on. The wait staff was delightful. They were very attentive to our needs and they gushed over our . We ordered the peach Melba and it was delicious. I was upset that I didnt get what I had bargained for but the meal was great. I will be going back.

Came to Prime Steak and Raw bar for dinner and was nottt disappointed!! So many great options it s hard to choose but you just can t resist a steak - cuts like butter and melts in your mouth. The wild mushroom risotto was so creamy and delicious, but you also have to check out the lobster mac and cheese! Worth every penny. Highly recommend the Peach Melba for dessert - baked flambé right in front of you!Everything was amazing and and tasted even better than it looked! Good quality meats that were cooked well. Some dishes lacked a lot of flavour in my opinion (the tuna tartare and blue cheese Yukon mash for example) I did feel like the space/decor, and even some of the menu items were pretty outdated. This was my first time, and it was fine, but I don t think it ll be a place I return to.

We went to Prime last Saturday night with a couple of friends for dinner based on their recommendation from a visit about a year ago. I say this because since then, the restaurant has recently changed owners and increased in size. This became apparent as they appeared to be going through some growing pains. One of the tables was adjacent to the door to their open kitchen which meant that anyone sitting there was subjected to the bright kitchen lights in an otherwise dimly lit room. We started with a glass of wine, however, I noticed my glass was chipped after I had pour some of my carafe in, so I had it replaced, but they brought an empty glass and said theyd bring out the replacement wine shortly. It was about 6:30 at this point and we ordered our appetizers and mains and let them know we had a show around the corner at 8pm. 1.5hrs should be enough time we were told. It was not. And the wine took too long to be replaced. I will say the food is really good. The Soba noodles are complex and delicious. But after our apps were done, we waited until 7:45pm for our mains, and even then I had to remind them that we had needed to leave soon. Given the price of the food and that we had paid for tickets, we were stuck either rushing and expensive meal or missing the show. Once the mains arrived, again they were delicious, but wed have appreciated more than 15 minutes to enjoy them with our drinks. We may have even gotten dessert, but sadly we had to dash.... Maybe next time.

We went to Prime Steak and Raw Bar for a birthday celebration. We had some sashimi from the raw bar, steak, and a few sides. It was the best steak we ve ever had! It was quite pricey but the quality of the food justifies the price. We won t be able to visit very often but when it s a special occasion, we will definitely visit again.

My boyfriend and I dined here right in the beginning of January and scrolling google and seeing this restaurant i realized i never made a review i completely meant too!! Goes to show how over a month later i am still thinking about how amazing my experience was going to this restaurant. I m pretty sure the server s name we had was Jasmine. She was an absolute delight and made our night so much fun. She was so nice and friendly. Made us laugh and made sure we had a great time! Our food was delicious. They slightly undercooked my filet but was super quick to offer a free dessert; and once we said we were too full to eat there, they offered it as takeout. The compensation was super thoughtful. Everyone is so professional. This restaurant is one of the best my boyfriend and i have experienced. Thank you so much for the great memories!

One of the best steaks Ive ever had. The grass fed beef striploin was amazing. My side dishes (mushrooms and lobster mac & cheese) were also delicious. Really recommend this place to anybody in the area who loves a good steak. a

We reserved this place to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Upon arriving, our table that I reserved wasnt available and we had to wait for 30 mins. Despite the long wait, the manager, Chris, did a really good job accomodating us. Due to the inconvenience, he willingly offered us a drink and a bread basket while we waited and we appreciate his gesture. After the wait, we were able to sit at our reserved table. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The coleslaw & yakisoba were amazing and a must try. The steak was juicy and the truffle fries was a great suggestion from our server Jasmine. We will surely go back!

We had a wonderful experience this week with the newly revamped menu at Prime Steak which is under new ownership. The quality of the raw seafood and meat ingredients were very high end and shined through. Also the dishes were beautifully presented. Oysters were the best I ever had, and the tuna tartare was awesome too. We tried the Wagu beef which was done at the right medium-rare point that I like and it melted like butter. Fries with the truffle alioli were also a highlight. When it comes to dessert, I had the citrus sesame creme brulee which was amazing and a very original spin on creme brulee. We had the Prosecco by the glass which was really nice, not sweet, just perfect to go with the seafood. Great atmosphere and excellent selection of wines and spirits. Servers were very attentive to our every need and we loved details such as the steak knife box selection. Great food and service all around, great value for high-end quality. Cannot wait to go back and try more of the items on their new extensive menu!!

We had the opportunity to dine at the newly launched Prime Steak + Raw Bar this week. It was a top tier experience with our group sharing a selection of items including Oysters, Burrata, Carpaccio, Black Cod, Dry Aged Steak and Japanese Wagyu. All the items rang the bell when it came to taste and presentation. We are definitely eying the Chefs Menu, Sashimi and Crudo for our next visit, plus plans for a more in-depth tour of the unique wine list they have assembled. Congratulations on delivering a menu and atmosphere that raises the bar on the Burlington restaurant scene.

Absolutely the best meal we ever had while in Burlington. Found the prices very reasonable when compared to other restaurants of this caliber. No need to drive to Toronto any more to get this variety and quality of food and service. Location is great, after dinner we walked a block down to the water front and enjoyed taking a walk while the sunset. A perfect evening with my wife at a very beautiful restaurant Highly recommend!

Burlington has a new gem!

Chantelle took care of us. We had some great apps, with the highlight being (surprisingly) the Singapore Slaw - at our server s recommendation! Cocktails were great - shout outs to the espresso martini for after dinner! And the Frameworks red was great with everyone s entree. I had the Iberico pork, served medium rare as its meant to be enjoyed! Steaks and sashimi were stellar. An amazing find in downtown Burlington. Will def come back next time we re around and looking for a solid night.

Prime steak is the hot new steak restaurant in the Burlington area. I went for my birthday and I was taken away by the amazing service food and atmosphere. The steak was top notch with many options. The place had a high end feel that still made me feel like it was a family run restaurant. Service was great! I d definitely recommend coming by for an amazing dinner experience with the family or just your significant other.

I m not one to leave reviews but felt compelled to given how outstanding our experience was today at Prime! My husband and I went for happy hour and we were kindly greeted by Maria who was exceptional! She was quick to let us know about the menu and gave us great recommendations. Maria was personable, friendly, and overall put the experience over the top. The food was SO incredibly fresh and the presentation and attention to detail was stunning. It is clear there is great pride in every dish that is made. One of our dishes was brought out by the chef himself which felt special. Overall, the atmosphere, the food, and the service were all 10/10 and we can t wait to come back!

Food was incredible, Maria (our server) is such a pro. Please ask for her when you dine there. Everything was super fresh, delicious, and the wine menu has a couple of hidden gems. I am a HUGE fan of sashimi, so I was wondering how it would compare to high end sushi restaurants and it was some of the best sashimi I have ever had locally, it just melts in your mouth. The wine list was also curated exceptionally well. I don t think you can go wrong with any of the items on the menu, my only criticism is that the king crab legs were smaller than I am used to, but the staff were quick to notice and correct and it didn t take away from the experience at all. I would 10/10 recommended for your next date night or girls night out!

Fast, friendly service, delicious food with creative presentation.

I never leave reviews but I had the most amazing experience and wanted to share. Went here for my birthday and me and my family left completely speechless from the food, the service and the atmosphere!! I really can t say anything other than incredible place and will definitely be recommending it to everyone!

Went for happy hour, portions albeit tasty, very small... oysters the size of a coat button. I had two old fashions, also on the happy hour menu, made by two different staff, and each made totally different. Server was freindly enough, but the atmosphere wasnt inviting.

I loved the whole experience. The way each group of foods was explained. The choice of knives. The presentation of food was beautiful. The food was very yummy the Yakisoba Noodles, steak .. potatoes.. the unique merlot sauce.. First rate! Service was spot on. Excellent all around.

We were impressed and privileged to meet staff , manager , owner, servers and chefs . Introduction and explanation , presentation and sharing made our dining experience memorable . From the fresh raw oysters followed by the Yakisoba noodles to the Alberta lamb chops and finally the Peach Melba we found ourselves totally amazed . Lovely evening out. The food was a fun blend of Asian and Steakhouse. Delicious and beautifully presented. Service was fantastic.

Over all I really liked it. The red wine was served a little too cold and it could have been a little warmer in the restaurant, but it was a nice experience. Oh be prepared, its a little pricey.

Highly recommend. Great happy hour from 4-6 everyday. Excited to come back to try the full menu.

Celebrated or 23rd anniversary here and was greeted with Happy Anniversary from staff as soon as we walked in the door which was a nice touch. Maria was our server (a professional!) and made the experience that much nicer. The wine was great, and steaks were fabulous. Sides cost extra as in most quality steakhouses but VERY generous portions... Can be shared for sure. Had a sampling of the sashimi and am looking forward to another visit to enjoy more :)

What can one say about this restaurant? Its delightful, delicious, delectable, delirious...The food is impeccably prepared and plated. It is a feast for the eyes and the mouth. The meal that I had there was one that I did not want to end. The staff was friendly and inviting. The atmosphere was both sophisticated and cozy at the same time. This will NOT be my last visit to this establishment. I highly, highly recommend it to everyone!

I think this is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was plated beautifully and was absolutely delicious, the waitstaff was super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was very nice. We ordered a few things, but for me the star was the Yakisoba noodles. It was one of the most unique dishes Ive seen with its 39 ingredients and the way it is presented, and I will surely be recommending not just the noodles but also the restaurant to friends and family.

I went for my 1 year anniversary with my gf and it was fantastic, booked a table in advance noting it was our anniversary and they delivered. The service was spectacular and they even offered a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. They truly worked hard to make our night special and gave us an amazing show along with show stopping food. For special occasions I highly recommend.

Went to prime steak and raw last week. The food was out of this world. I had the Aussie grass fed striploin. Best steak I ever had! Even better was the service from Maria! Such well trained staff at this restaurant. Great explanation of the plates by the server. See u again! Parking: Plenty of free close parking

One of the best steak dinners I ve ever had, and I ve had some amazing meals. The service was fantastic and every bit of our food was prepared to complete perfection. We will be back for sure, and soon!

The food here is amazing! You definitely get what you pay for. The drunken Wagyu was probably the best steak Ive ever had, cooked perfectly to medium rare. Coleslaw, risotto, brocollini and deserts were awesome too. Service was great, and our server Chantel was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back!
