Turkish Restaurant burnaby
I ordered a meat lover Pide, it was not a meat lover but onion and egg Pide. It was not the food that bothered me as much as it was the handling. They don’t wear gloves when preparing food, they touch everything and than prepare the food. The place is filled with spider webs and covered in dust, and the floor is has been long overdue for cleaning. The washroom was filled with used papers. I don’t know how it got such a high rating. I think FHA needs to inspect this place and make sure they follow food handling guidelines. I will make sure to get their attention.
Lavash bread is a must have with the Mix plate. Mutton chops were awesome. Kunafe is great too.
Excellent meat pies. I would like some fresh toppings and some lemon to add above it. Other than that excellent quality and size.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was very poor, and the customer service was incredibly rude. I deeply regret coming here. One of my friends visiting from Alberta had a problem with his dish – it wasn't as described, and the soup was watery and tasteless. When he complained, the waiter reacted aggressively and stared him down, almost ready to start a fight. We were charged $150 for this terrible food. As a neighbor of this restaurant, I strongly advise against going there. The staff is unprofessional, and the overall experience was disgusting.
Amazing lavash and cold salad combo. We enjoyed the fresh and tasty flavours of turkey so much! The portions and gigantic and ingredients feel very fresh and high quality. Will definitely come back!
Halal turkish foods. 15mins walk from Edmonds station. I ordered their Beyti Sarma and Stuffed Grape Leaves (Dolma). It’s very hearty and filling. Their lavash bread is baked fresh, the dip makes it even yummmm. Everything tastes very healthy. They gave us dates for iftaar free of charge. They have a small prayer room too next to the washroom.
Food was good, chicken and beef was very tender and hummus was flavorful. The meat dishes were served with rice and some greens. It was served fast. Service was just okay, there was only one server during dinner service. Overall, had a good experience but could have been better. Perhaps could have added one more waitstaff.
Visited this Turkish restaurant for dinner in Burnaby and was impressed! Their service is very attentive and there is a decent amount of seating inside the restaurant for dining in, as well as street parking available nearby. The complimentary bread was delicious, along with the iskender kebap which was very richly flavoured and seasoned, accompanied with rice and salad freshly prepared. Dessert was tasty as well - the baklava and Turkish coffee was a refreshing end to the meal. Highly recommend visiting for dinner in the near future!
Parking: On street, metered with free parking certain hours. Food
This is the place to be when it comes to the iskendar mix kabab ohoo that with the long traditional lawash bread and the hunafas my friend you ve got to try it out !
This is my third time coming here i cant believe how this restaurant changed i do not recommend you guys this restaurant really poor communication skills of the servers i have came here before a month or two months ago i drove here from across the border only one server the food doesnt taste how it used to be please dont waste your money here really disappointed experience.
Food and service was good. Ahmed was attentive and they clean the tables right before you sit down so you know it s clean. The large bread in the photo is known as lavash bread. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free
I ve been to Anatolia Gates before and returned for the food, which was still good the Lavash Bread with garlic sauce, Chicken Iskender, and Lamb Tandur were all tasty. However, the service was atrocious. I ordered a Turkish Tea mid-meal with the anticipation of it arriving as we finished our meal. The waiter mentioned wait time for tea will be 10 minutes (we said no problem as that was the anticipated time of us finishing our meal). 25 minutes go by and no sign of the tea arriving. I went to the front to inquire and they said its made and its in the back, I said why is it in the back if its made? They responded by saying we forgot, which made no sense as there were maybe 4 other people in the restaurant. The waiter who took the tea order was sitting in the back on his phone overhearing my frustration and did not care and continued to be on his phone. The other staff apologized as the service was sadly disappointing.
I felt it was a bit expensive for what you get but the food is good and authentic.
You should try the Lamb Chops
I ordered lamb shish, the ingredients was good but I like it juicier as I ve tried in Istanbul. Lavash bread with sauce was awesome
Authentic Turkish food. Bread is very fresh and delicious. You can have an authentic Turkish coffee as it is made in
pizza is really good. They are so nice to make a special bread for us.
U feel like u r in original Turkish restaurant when u step in Great taste, great atmosphere Nice Turkish musics The chiefs also nice one of them from turkey It s really gonna worth to try
Amazing tasty healthy food. The manager at this Turkish restaurant, Rifat, provided exceptional customer service and gave nice recommendations. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the side dishes were delicious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I would highly recommend.
Not as good as good as last time.
I used to go here all the time when I lived in the area 10 years ago. I went back a few days ago to relive a memory and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The young men that used to work there 10 years ago are no longer there. Its full of slightly older men who are NOT friendly and have ZERO customer service skills. I walked in, one man looked very grumpy and didnt even acknowledge me. I asked if I should just sit down and he just shook his head. After waiting more than 10 minutes for a menu and water, it took 20 minutes for someone to come back and take my order. The restaurant only had 2 other tables to serve so it was not busy and both of them left by the time I received my menu. Once the food came, I took about 4 bites and immediately felt sick. I had the WORST stomach ache. Not only have the portion sizes decreased, but the prices have gone up (which I know is to be expected) the salads were not fresh, the yogurt had a weird smell and I couldnt get over how rude the staff is. No one asked if I was ok or if I needed anything. They were all just in their own world and completely ignoring me. After waiting another 15 minutes, I asked for take away containers and was only given 2 when I needed 5. I had to ask twice for more. I was fed up at this point and just packed what I could, paid and left. This place is a disappointment now. I miss the old workers/management and the staff are all rude, grouchy looking men. It would be nice to have some female staff members to make it more balanced and welcoming. I got the closure I needed and definitely WONT be going back. EVER!
The mezzes were really good, the lavas bread too, the pide too. While passing through Vancouver with Madame, we had a great time, I recommend this address. Ellerinize sa l k
Bad service. I called to know the type of kebab. He told me to go to Google and look at the menu. This is a stupid answer. If I wanted to go to Google, I would not have called you. The person who answers the phone has no manners. Very bad service. I advise against going to this restaurant. Customer service very bad I called the restaurant to order food I asked him about the food he said go to google to see the price
We were there couple of days ago, and let me just start by saying their food was super horrible, they served us rice that wasn t even good to make sushi with, it was so smoothly and absolutely zero flavor, I asked them for no salad extra rice on the mixed kebab the dish was served just two scoops of smoothy white rice and just meat, zero veggies or even garnish, for $28 plus tax and the meat tasted cold, not cooked enough and also very bland, my friends got another dish I forgot the name but it was like a donair that was cut into pieces and topped with a red sauce, the sauce was as if you take some tomato paste and dilute it with some water and pour it over the food without cooking it that s how it tasted like, we also ordered a lentil soup with zero flavour, the service was also so horrible, server would just come and drop off the food and drinks at the base of the table and walk away, he never cared to say who ordered what. I d give a 0 if there was an option! Two dishes and a can of pop for $60 and we couldn t even eat it.
I did not like the taste of the lamb shank.
Good Food & Service
Nothing beats the brown man cooking lamb .
I travel all the way from Quebec to try this. The lamb chops is pièce de résistance. . I lick their cutting boards if they let me. Magnifique!
Lavash bread is a must try. Also worth trying the Turkish tea
I tried the turkish cuisine for the first time and it was awesome. Their Lavash bread - similar to naan with garlic sauce was freshly baked. Chicken portion with rice and salads are tasty, reasonable and filling. But do not expect any sort of customer service as they are not friendly and helpful. They will just take the order from you and will bring the food to you.
10/10
Price in comparison with food volume and environment is very high! The quality of food is average. They serve delicious bread with some food. The environment is like an old abandoned restaurant! Food : 3/5 |
This is the first time I order from this restaurant, the Cheese Lovers Pide was good. However, I was extremely disappointed with the Kunefe, it was missing part of it and it looked like it was burned and they took off the burned part and gave it to me. It was a very negative experience and I dont think I will ever go back. Very bad service
A really good Turkish cuisine restaurant
Nothing but . It was a great experience. First time consuming Turkish cuisine. The staff was outstanding. The music was.so unique. The art within this establishment was created with excellence. Food
Worst restaurant Ive ever been to, absolutely horrible
Very delicious food and friendly service. Had lunch at this restaurant again in 2024 June (first time was 2023 June). Again I had good experience. The food was delicious, staff are friendly and the prices are just right.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Anatolia Gate! The food was exceptional, with rich flavors and generous portions. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. One thing to note is that the dine-in area closes about an hour before the restaurants official closing time, so be sure to check with the front desk for exact hours. Otherwise, I highly recommend Anatolia Gate for a delicious and authentic meal. Cant wait to come back!
Great food,
Some of the best food in the lower mainland, love this place! Particular highlights were the carrot salad, the lavash, the hummus, and the beyti sarma, but I ve loved everything I ve had here Recommended dishes
So bad slow service 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for the food ! it is not Tasty anymore and the washroom is so dirty and also the meat tasty like nothing. I am vary surprised that the restaurant is like this
They did not have beef iskandir, and we went there for that, which was pretty disappointing, however they offered chicken one. Overall food was decent
Awesome food very nice customer service
This is the only place other than Turkey where Ive had authentic delicious Turkish food! Love love love!!! Amazing people and service. Ive dined in, taken out and had large friends events here. They never fail to deliver! Food
Good food, well enjoyed as the pictures show. The mixed plate and Lavash bread was amazingly flavourful. We enjoyed the lamb.
Good place to eat fresh food
Food was ok but service wasnt the greatest. They didnt sit us and told us to site anywhere and when we picked a table the staff came and asked us to move to a two-top table. I told them Id rather sit elsewhere as the table was close to the washroom he told me they will get busy and they need those other tables for other customers! It was around 5 pm and there was only another couple in the store at the time!! 10 mins later a couple walk in and the staff sits them at a six-seater table despite having 3 other two-top tables available. Clearly a double standard and disrespectful. Oh and also they didnt get busy with families of 6 the whole time we were there so sitting where we wanted wasnt too much to ask...
Food was very delicious costumer service really good and friendly
Anatolias Gate Restaurant one of the best super duper restaurant in burnaby I eat in it all the time which is very tasty and better It gives very good service Food
I love the food its always freshly made and served in a very clean and safe manner coustmer service was amazing the owner is very nice and welcoming I will definitely be coming back...
What an amazing food, and service my goto place, do try the food and service you will not regret.
Healthy good fresh food in town love to eat here
This was my first taste of Turkish food and it was absolutely fantastic. The Lamb Tandur was very tender, tasty and the best I ve ever had. For starters, we had the mixed plate starter was incredible. Service was excellent and it was so nice to see other families enjoying their meals as well. 10 out of 10! Congratulations.
Great customer service. Delicious and healthy food. Will go back again!
Uncooked ground beef on lahmacun, which I believe would be a health risk. Not to mention it is like meat smeared over the bread which falls off.. this is not normal for a properly made lahmacun, meet is supposed to get cooked with the bread. Also tasted their beyti which was way too gamey as well with lesser than acceptable fresh bread. I m Turkish and I really wanted to have a little home town dinner but I m hugely disappointed. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you are ordering basic things that doesn t require skills of proper Turkish cooking.
Great food quality, good service, and reasonable prices.
Great food and huge portions
Amazing lavash and second best shawarma in Vancouver :)
Great service, amazing food
It was disappointing!
I can only rate based off food and not the service cause I just Uber a 5 bucks worth of food for about 50. So disappointing.
Sweet!
Very kind family run place. We tried the urfa kabob (very good meat!), lentil soup, Greek salad, baba ghanouj, their fresh bread and their corn cake. Everything was delicious and they owners are seriously sweet.
This bread itself deserved 5 stars
Bread 10/10
I have had the chance to experience many Greek, Iranian, Indian restaurants and a few Turkish restaurants in Metro Vancouver for 4.5 years. I tried lentil soup, Adana wrap and tea here. Since I havent had lentil soup for a long time and maybe the weather was a bit cold for me, I liked the soup and the complimentary lavash they served with it. I liked that they asked me whether it was white flour or whole wheat flour and that they made the lavash right in front of my eyes and baked it in the wood oven. I read the negative comments about the tea but I disagree. The tea was also very fresh and nice. Maybe there are customers from time to time who come across the tea they have been waiting for, I dont know. I didnt like the Adana wrap. The yoghurt-like cold sauce they put in it spoiled the taste. I found the meat to be lean and therefore somewhat bland. However, the lavash of the wrap was very delicious. Lentil soup: 3.5 / 5 Lavash: 4 / 5 Adana wrap: 2 / 5 Tea: 4 / 5
Worst turkish restaurant ive ever been in my life. the meat was extremely dry. horrible experience i had to throw half of the portion. and i had stomachache for 2 days.
Great turkish food. Lavash bread and iskender kabob are my go-to, and are always good.
The food was so delicious and fresh especially the bread so soft. Alibaba mushrooms are so tasty and juicy. I had leftovers the next day and no complaints. If the food is good the next day as well thats a good quality. Food
So darn good. They make a fresh loaf of what I would call naan right in their big oven, which I imagine also makes great pizza. Anyway the bread was amazing. I had a lamb shank which was excellent and my friend had a chicken kebab which was really good. Its almost impossible for me to like white chicken meat but they pulled it off. Really great.
This place is dirty and disgusting. The fact is that this people are not wearing gloves .. I saw this dude charging people cash money and going back to make chicken wraps without washing his hands.. come on you are in Canada now . Food
The friend who served was very attentive and polite, and always offered treats, but we were carried away by the name and longing for our homeland, and we ordered whatever was on the menu. Pita, lahmacun, kepab, none of them are from our taste, as far as I understand, they have already changed hands. Spices etc are different. Maybe grilled meat is good, I dont know, but the flavors we are used to are far below expectations.
Always great fresh healthy food.
My first 1-star review! This is not turkish food!!!!This was an exceptionally disappointing experience. The food had no taste whatsoever, and the lahmajun was so hard it might as well have been made of plastic. Its a shame when a meal is not only unenjoyable but also barely edible. We wont be ordering from here again.
I ve been going to this restaurant since they first opened and the food use to be good for what you paid but recently I ve been noticing both the quality and the quantity of the food going down the drain and prices going up. Definitely not worth wasting time and money here
I Really enjoy the food here
Fantastic delicious halal healthy food and awesome staff. Dietary restrictions: Great food and great staff Food : 5/5 |
I love this restaurant the food is very good but the takeout service is horrible. I called to place a small simple order of 2 knafe dessert dishes and got told it will take 15-20 minutes I have arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes after my order and my order wasn t ready however it wasn t even on its way the restaurant was currently serving 1 table only 3 out of the 5 employees were seated around 1 table just talking to each other while 1 of them eat his dinner (with his hands without any utensils I don t think is appropriate for an employee regardless his culture) 15 minutes later my order was finally ready. I didn t proceed, writing a review until the day after I called to order 2 large pizza for To go and again got told it will take 15-20 minutes I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later and guess what it wasn t even at the process of making it. Got told it will take another 30 minutes Just a waste of time
Not a great experience. Service was not respectful and welcoming, like we were wasting the waiter s time by asking questions. The foods was not tasty. The meat quality was poor with cheap cuts. Lavash bread was great. Also, it is overpriced.
EXCELLENT.
Great food
The atmosphere was very welcoming. Our server was very cheerful and helpful. The food was tasty despite the lamb being over cooked. A few GF options. The Lavash bread not one of them but others at your table will enjoy it.
Amazing food and the service is great. Their hummus and Kunefe are delicious!
Food was ok. Service was poor. Forgot about our order. The Kunafa was authentic. The excuse they gave us was the guy is new .
Amazing food, good service, halal and they have an actual bread oven.
All the food is amazing at this place, great service as well! Recommend trying the lavash bread!
Walk by this place all the time. Was really great. Id come just for the bread tbh, was delicious. Will be back for takeout for sure, I need to try the lamb!
Too expensive and the food is not good and there s butter on everything they don t not even have a good service, I regret going there not recommended at all
We went as a group and had mixed plate, shish kebab (lamb chops), and lentil soup with lavash bread. Bread was baked fresh with whole wheat flour and served hot. Overall experience was great! We had tea and baklava after the dinner. Baklava was perfect, not too sweet and not too oily.
Tasty turkish cusine
Best Turkish cuisine in town with its famous Lavash Bread
Delicious food , good quantity
Its not authentic Turkish food. Nothing really even close. Im not sure why its advertised as such.
Terrible service.
Needs a revamp in menu and tea. Food has too much bread in it. Chai is too sweet , extremely sweet. Soup was not flavourful as it used to be. Salad was too salty.
Delicious food and Turkish coffee! We ordered the mixed plate, meat lovers pide, and lavish bread.
Best Turkish food in British Columbia, been coming here for over 8 years and have never been disappointed, yes it s a little worn down and smaller but the food is a hidden gem
Excellent food and service
Fantastic food.
Found fly in my food after I had eaten all the bread. After that unfortunately, I could barely eat the main course meal which I had ordered a beef kebab platter. The fly either came from the cow itself before the kebab or Africa somehow (kidding). See pic for evidence.
Terrible. Tasteless food(if you can call it so) that has nothing common with a real Turkish food. Such a shame.
The food was amazing. One of my new favourite casual places to enjoy.
When I lived in Burnaby/New West my husband and I would come here all of the time. Now we live in Chilliwack but will drive all the way there just to eat this food. I love the mixed salad platter. I could be satisfied with just this. But everything else is wonderful too. If you havent tried Turkish food (or if you have), GO HERE! It is worth it.
Not worth it. The bread is amazing. But the rest of the food is not that good. We ordered the iskander, sujuk, lamb kofte, lahmajun Iskander was not tender Suujuk was way overpriced for quantity you get. Lamb was not cooked well. Lahmajun was missing spices. Sadly. A let down.
This food is the best!!! Chicken shish, with the carrot salad, rice and pickled red cabbage are to die for. Their bread (comes with your meal) is made fresh and always warm. The Baba ganoush, hummus and other dips are so delicious. I love this place!! And they are so nice. Parking: During certain times, parking is not easy to find. Sometimes you can pay for street parking and weekends after 6pm its free. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs.
Anatolias has the best pide in town, its a pie with meat and eggs. Their red meats skewers are well seasoned and delicious. The fresh lavash is quite a treat, its a huge bread served with garlic sauce We went for an early lunch and service was great. Food
Very inconsistent service and taste. I came here once and everything was alright so I decided to come back and introduce some Turkish cuisine to my friends. They embarrassed me and our cuisine by serving pre-cooked, chewy and cold kebap , if you wanna call it that. The only fresh thing was the Lavash bread and that s it. I won t be eating at this restaurant anytime soon and hope they improve their food and service.
Just terrible food. Everything was tasteless. I got the mixed platter in was very underwhelming and there was absolutely no taste to the food. And what is the carrot thing that they have.
Their Donair Pizza is definitely underrated, it s really delicious and it has a great texture to it! 10/10
So nice
Amazing food, delicious hummus, super nice service, and affordable! I would definitely come back again.
Great Ambience and food, especially loved their pizza and iskender kabob platter. Good option to consider for Turkish food
Babaganoosh was excellent. Very much enjoyed the bread and yogurt. Lovely staff.
Ordered a lamb kebob, lamb tendur and a karidi to go, when I got home the lamb kebob was missing. There were 2 lamb rice tendurs and tons of flat bread with nothing to eat them with. The lamb portions in the tendurs were too less. I came here from 40 minutes away.
Its a nice place with Turkish food. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it to everyone. Parking: Parking on the street is possible. Kid-friendliness: Suitable. Wheelchair accessibility: Suitable
The food was good but the portioning wasn t enough as compared to the price they charge. There was a pungent smell coming from the restaurant which makes us hard to dine in. Overall it s 7/10 experience.
Special bread and appetizers
The food wasnt that turkish taste, and service was ok,no turkish rice its more like a sushi boiled rice. we ordered mix meat platter, chicken iskender, hummus; hummus had no flavor! and platters were nothing close to turkish taste at all plus no vibe of turkish restaurant. If anyone wants to taste authentic food especially turkish rice then this is not the place. Additionally, quantity of meat platter was very less mostly filled with salads. I do not recommend this.
Visited there last year with friends. These food has nothing to do with Turkish cousine. It is just imitation of Turkish food. Ordered Lentil soup - was so so. Iskender was not with doner meat, but it was just cooked in fry pan or something and had wrong taste. It was not Iskander at all. The chicken shish kebap was not similar to Turkish and was dry. Bread was good.
We think, we came to Turkish restaurant as a Turkish but I guess they have forgotten to change the place name, it must be Indian restaurant instead. Disgusting lahmacun, I have never had worst soup serve and tea totally disgusting. Expensive and not worth it.
Worst customer service, took our plates before we finished the meal. food was not up to mark. price is so high compare to quality. only dessert ( baklava ) was good and the bread.
The food is garbage, they call it a Turkish restaurant, but it has nothing to do with Turkish restaurants. In my opinion, the owner of the place is not Turkish, but Indian assholes, and they give us advice, I order pita, my friend gives me meat and bread, I will follow your logic.
I came to Vancouver from Toronto and i went with my friends for lunch we eat iska nder mix kabab and a lot more food is the best place to eat here. Delicious food will comeback again.
I have been coming here for the last 7 years. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Specially thier lavash bread.
Really bad food quality!
Food was terrible Service not great I dont recommend at all Food : 1/5
Generous portions, very tender lamb
Alhamdulillah the best halal food. Hammad is a great server. Must visit. Food : 5/5
The best lamb shank meal I ever had. Highly recommended.
The food quality was amazing. The restaurant was a little old but very clean. Very nice waiter.
Delicious. Adana kebab a must. Meat pied also good.
Love this lil gem! My kids always want to stop for lavash! Fresh , delicious, friendly. My family loves it here!
The ingredients were fresh (thats why I gave it 2 stars), but it just didnt taste like Turkish food at all. Ive had Turkish food so many times in Turkey , and this didnt even come close. Ive been craving Turkish food for ages, and Vancouver let me down once again.
Had the lamb donair. Delicious but could have had more meat. Pizza crust a bit floppy so could be cooked more. Turkish tea ok
What a gem! This place is absolutely fabulous! Order the platter of wonderful flavors and textures - tear the bread and soak up this Mediterranean delight! Definately going back when in the area!
As a visitor from Australia I had lunch on Wednesday 19 September 2023 and I was more than delighted with my menu: lentil soup with lavash read and hummus on side, lamb tandur beautifully presented on the plate in a circular fashion with rice in the centre surrounded by various delicious salads and juicy, tasty lamb pieces. It was very filling! I finished my meal with black tea presented in beautiful glass cup and saucer. As a venue I would further recommend it not only for the attention to the meal paid by the chef at the time, Javed Khan & his assistant but also for the attractive Turkish artefacts presented on the walls wherever one turned, the size and space of the venue.Other customers seemed equally involved in enjoying lunch & atmosphere. Recommended!
I got delivery from them. The Lahmacun taste was kind of bland, it was also too thick and hard to chew after rolling up. Only 4 small piece came in the box for $15. I also got the Iskender for $20. It was a tiny bit of typical donair beef platter meat. Nothing close to actual iskender its just a bad version of beef rice platter, you are better off getting that. The hummus and baklava were nice though. Ended up spending $65 with delivery for everything. Way too expensive for what you get. Never going back. PS: my stomach hurts right now I wish I ate something else.
Great service, unfortunately food was not tasty enough for me to come back. The quality was great. Had the meat pide and lavash. The lavash is very light and crispy and enjoyable. The meat pide was okay.
They definitely need to redecorate. Service was a bit slow. Food was ok.lavash bread and garlic sauce was good. The beef on top of the thin bread was good. Ordered chicken curry. Sauce was to spicy. Not a lot of flavour. Tasted like spicy tomato soup. Lamb isn t full peices with bone in. Was small peices. Washroom so so gross.
I love this place because the restaurant name sounds like a Studio Ghibli movie title. Also the food
Spacious Nice ambience Great food We loved the flavour of kabab and salads. The lavasha bread is fabulous straight out of the oven! Parking: Park in the mall across the street or on the back side off of Kingsway Kingsway is free after 8pm
The best Turkish food I have had outside of Turkey. This place is .
The door of Anatolia could not be opened much this time We ordered Urfa and Iskender, iskender doner over rice, Urfa came in the form of a kind of meatball with chili peppers added on it, which we could not understand what it was. Total disappointment.
Good service, delicious food, very fresh. I have been here several times with friends and family and are never disappointed. Food takes a bit of time to come out as it is freshly cooked, so be patient. Parking: Cant really park on side streets, best to park on main road which is metered. Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty much is lined up with the sidewalk, should be no issues for wheelchair.
Love the quality and freshness of this full flavoured restaurant. The guys that work there are friendly and we enjoy dining in and taking out. We usually order the mixed platter and Iskender meals.
If you like Turkish dishes, this is your place! Loved the food.
I am sorry I have to edit my ratings for this business. They have been great but unfortunately now services are very bad and food is worse every time I visit. Feel like they are getting done with the business.
An exquisite culinary journey awaits at my friends Turkish restaurant! From a diverse array of mouthwatering dishes to the unrivaled delight of their kunafa, each bite tells a tale of culinary perfection. The warm ambiance and exceptional service make it a must-visit in Vancouver. Your taste buds deserve this experience, and you wont be disappointed
The food was average, not bad, but not great too. Service was prolonged for an empty restaurant. We waited more than 30 minutes for a cup of tea!
Beautiful place
Great
Testy food all the time
A lovely Turkish restaurant at Burnaby, Canada with lovely spread of starters, Turkish tea, main courses, fresh moist baklava, amazing raised be naan bread plus Turkish coffees. Most enjoyable.
Excellent Turkish food with generous portions and many dishes to choose from. The service is good too and the its quite nice inside.
Amazing food, great employees. Idk if theyre turkish
The Turkish delight at this restaurant is undeniable, especially with their Chicken Iskender. The perfectly seasoned and tender chicken, coupled with the savory yogurt and tomato-based sauce, creates a flavorful explosion. The generous portion size and authentic ambiance make it a must-try for any food enthusiast.
Food was great, and the Lavash was very nice and fresh. We had the mixed plate appetizer, the Urfa, and the Sujuk. The portions were generous, and the flavours were great (especially the mixed plate). Thanks for a great dinner!
worst customer Service The waiters are very rude , very disrespectful, they are interfering in our choices and commenting on our conversation me and my friends Will never recommend We also ordered lentil soup and it was disgusting
I am from Turkey. The food is nowhere near the authentic Turkish food I ate growing up.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly poor, with a rude and intrusive waiter. The staffs attitude was unacceptable, and it significantly affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. I wouldnt recommend this place due to the terrible service.
Iverall Good food used to eat here for almost 5 years everything is fresh and tasty but tonight i order as usual lamb chops payed as usual with tips but when i came home they gave me 3 pc chops instead of 4 when i called them they started to give me some ridiculous explanations next time i will give you more blablabla As a business owner myself i know how to keep reputation and keep costumers happy. You can contact me and i will tech you. But today your score from 5 star faled to 1 star and you lost a costumer Thanks
Food is great and its halal!
Family owned restaurant I think? They werent that busy on a Friday night. Just a handful of tables. Their Turkish delights are authentic according to my Pakistani friends
Mouth watering food! I highly recommend this restaurant!
