Gokudo serves individual hotpot with variety of meat slices, seafoods and also vegetarian/ vegan ingredients. Make up your own hotpot combo or be creative! Do everything a la carte.
We got the hot pot combos, one with the default house special chicken broth and one with sukiyaki broth. Honestly, the broths and veggies were pretty bland. Udon quality was low as well. This was my second time trying hot pot and I didn’t really like it both times, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I’d be curious to try different broth flavors, because I definitely don’t recommend these ones. Service was very good however!
I believe that when it comes to the restaurant, customer service is a key to run business. Jenny was the person helped us and the customer service was fantastic. I live in Richmond but I love to eat in this location because the service.
Can never go wrong with hotpot. They also do a combo where you can have a hotpot and a drink! Also when I went it was a buy 1 hotpot the second one is 50%! I definitely recommend!
The food itself was just okay, kind of bland. The best part was the pumpkin broth I chose, but at the start, as it got watered down later. The milk tea was very good as well. Aside from that the cabbage was probably the best part of the hotpot combo (vegetarian option) and everything else was bland, compared to items I could buy myself at T&T. The udon were also tasteless and not good texture - too doughy. The hotpot combo is a good choice and id recommend that option as you get your main pick, a carb side, drink and dessert. Personally wouldn't go again, not for the wait time or price. Our plan was to meet at like 7:15-730, and join the wait-list since they don't take reservations, but we didn't get seated until like 830. The service however was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. I think the rest of my group probably enjoyed their time, I just personally thought it was overall too bland and would rather go elsewhere like big way hotpot or boiling point to get my money's worth. Or even go to T&T and pick up hotpot items and make our own.
Fresh sides, fresh meat, and tasty broth. The first time I came here I ordered the meat and balls combo. I had the lamb, udon noodles and the chicken broth. The bottomless milk tea was so good and the orange sorbet. They were part of the late night deals. The second time I came here I had the combo with the 7 ounce AAA short rib and laksa soup base. The broth was not as creamy as laksa broth usually is and it was a bit spicy! It had more flavor then the chicken soup base. I am new to hotpot and really enjoyed this place. There was no wait to get in the first time we came just after 9pm for the late night deal. The second time I came was at 5:50pm on a Sunday night. The wait was around 25 min. We didn't know we could have put our names on the waitlist online before. Definitely worth coming back!
Place filled up quickly after we arrived around 6pm for a Thursday! Food and service was top notch! Ice cream at the end was almost too decadent after that filling meal.
We had great service here! Prices seemed reasonable; $100 for drinks and food and dessert for 4 people. The food was all great! I liked how much came with the hot pot combo, the variety is nice. I upgraded to the duck egg and cilantro soup base which had a nice taste but was a little bit bland. Everything else was great! We got a table for 4 people on a Saturday night around 9pm with no wait. Also the happy hour after 9pm is a great deal!
Very nice Taiwanese shabu shabu! The service is friendly, introducing menu in English nicely. The meal was great, very nice combo, fresh vegetables. shrimps and beef, the soup tastes good. Upgrading to marinated ground pork rice only needs 0.95 cent (tastes really good) every nice experience!! Love it
Way too expensive If you drive down kingsway 2 more minutes, Pot Empire is almost $10 cheaper. No cost for soup broth, and much more toppings in their soup. Shabu has no toppings in their soup. Picture of me eating alone at Shabu shabu for $27 And eating with my friend at Pot Empire for $21 each and look at all toppings come inside their soup lol.
Good service with lots of explanations, friendly staff, tasty meat but few tasteless bits of fish ? mixed with the veggies. Good to have an ice cream at the end if you take a combo. Should propose something else then tea included in the combo.
Good portions for the price, staff was very friendly.
Among the best hotpot (if not the best) in the city for small group; Individual pot; good atmosphere; highly recommend; the only complaint is the lackluster ice cream.
One of the best hotpot in Burnaby really enjoyed the food.
Staff are always friendly. And the food is always fresh. Can t complain
The food and service always satisfy me.
I m pretty sure it s the best hotpot restaurant in the town!
Love the food, and friendly service
Fusion of Japanese Shabu Dhabi and Taiwanese hotpot. It makes well particularly with its secret sauce provided. Will come back again.
Food
Although I had received a seating notice that day, I still had to wait for about 10 minutes. However, the waiter Jenny s service was perfect and I felt like I was back in Taiwan! The food is delicious~
Always my favorite go to place for hotpot. Staff are attentive and sweet. Good value for portion and quality.
In terms of price, the beef is okay; the medicinal soup is average, more like a soup dumpling with a few slices of red dates for you; the vegetable plate has few styles; the udon is not the chewy one, but the vermicelli is the ordinary thin one.
Single serve hot pot, good portions for the price.
Love Gokudo! Awesome service and delicious food! Vegetarian options: Nice choice Kid-friendliness: kid-friendly! Provide cute plates for kids use
Great service
I love it
The Taiwanese hot pot in Burnaby has a very authentic taste. It has many menu choices, fresh ingredients, bright store lights, and friendly service. It is also worth mentioning that the store is also very kind to children and will give children stickers, which is also good for parent-child customers. Highly recommended. Would love to visit again.
Had a great dinner here. Great price and excellent service. Our server Wynette was awesome!
Excellent service as usual! Shout out to Jasper for being extra attentive and passing extra napkins while I was peeling shrimp!
The best hotpot. Always great food, value, service and experience!
The taste of various pot bottoms is very special. The ingredients are fresh and the set meal is very healthy, with a variety of vegetables and meat. It s very cost-effective to eat during happy hour
I really enjoy dining here even though it s always busy and requires a bit of wait. It reminds me of Taiwan and makes me miss it. The servers are authentically friendly and professional. Food is always fresh and the hot pot combo offers plenty of food so I leave satisfied. My favorite is the tom yum soup base, can t help but get it every time I go. The reward program gives you excellent discounts. The only area of improvement would be to offer better ice cream. It tastes artificial and comes in a styrofoam container, so I usually skip it. Parking: Parking is free after 8pm
Clean, friendly and patient service, good quality vegetables and meats! The milky soup was the favourite at my table. The servers always checked to make sure we had water and our soup wasn t too low. Very friendly and attentive. You don t get this kind of service everywhere. Will definitely be back! Edit: I have returned several times and the quality and quick service is consistently good! I need to point out how amazing Teresa, Teddy, and Jennie are. Teresa is just an amazing person all around. I ve seen her run out the door to return cell phones, they have helped parents who have to stand outside to care for their crying toddler, and she is extremely welcoming of everybody regardless of age, gender, and primary speaking language.
Super delicious Taiwanese shabu-shabu! It almost made me return to Taiwan in a second The dishes are full of sincerity, the special sauces prepared in the store are also delicious, and they also come with delicious drinks Highly recommend the clear chicken soup + Jidao beef or prime snowflake beef! If I have the chance to visit Vancouver again, I will visit again
Online waitlist really helps! Food quality was good and it s reasonably priced. Only thing I wanted to point out is the rib part of the napa cabbage were a bit too bitter to eat. Customer service was amazing!!! The waitress who served our table was very helpful and friendly! Thanks again!
Gokudo offers friendly service and generous portions. It s also more affordable than dining at Hai Di Lao.
I love the Taiwanese-style small hotpot. The fresh ingredients and perfectly sized portions are just right for me. The exceptional service is why I keep coming back; the staff are always so nice and friendly.
I have been there a few times but last Monday, April 29th was even better than the other days. Food always so good and thanks Annie and Jasper for being so attentive, fast and friendly!
Awesome Hot Pot place to check out! Their menu is simplified and its perfect, the atmosphere is nice and the service was great from the staff. I would come back there next time I come back in Burnaby!
A place where the service is perfect. A delicious and friendly place with young staff full of good sense. Its a bit pricey, but its worth it.
I have eaten a lot of small hot pot restaurants, and I think it is the best small hot pot restaurant in North America. The service is good, the ingredients are of good quality, and the seats are comfortable and clean. The only drawback is that the accompanying drinks are often only green tea.
I come here everywhere. It is amazing food, quality and best service ever.
We love Richmond location, but this is closer so we decided to try it. Almost everything was good except the blade eye slice combo meat. There was just so much tendon it was a very unpleasant chew. This never happened at Richmond location. The tendon parts around the outer edge of the cut werent cleaned/cut away either. Every slice was like that. The fatty short plate combo meat also had some tendon but not nearly as bad, just bits here and there. The freshness and taste is great, but too bad the meat was not a good experience.
Clean, modern and friendly atmosphere. We go as a family of 3 at least once a month. There haven t been any quality of food surprises or shrinkflation. The staff are always attentive, proactive and friendly. The online waitlist is helpful! We will continue to be patrons and encourage our friends and family as well.
Super friendly staff! Taste great!!
Always excellent food and friendly service. The dining environment is clean and spacious. Kid friendly as well. Vegetarian options: Great options for oriental vegetarian and vegans!
I came to try this place cuz I couldnt be caught going big way again. Well tldr, This place is pretty decent but doesnt have as much value as big way. Food is sold as a combo set so you get everything you need for a whole meal which is really nice. The meat looked and tasted really good and came with an okay sauce. I personally found the soup to be a bit bland and it was kind of boring and only having one sauce to dip into. My friend told me that the soup just tasted like water so if you do come here do not get the house soup, it might cost more for the special soups but at least it wont be bland. I really considered asking the staff for salt or something but I didnt want to be rude. Staff was nice and the place is clean, having the little pot stoves was also really cute. All in all this place is a decent place to grab a meal, though on the pricier side for what you get.
I think we eat here at least once a month. Its our go-to place; one place eat our heart out with a reasonable price. The meat and vege is always fresh, the soup is consistent. The choice of daily special drink is always good no matter which one it is. The normal chicken and mushroom broth is simple and not overwhelming, perfect pair for the dipping sauce they provide. Our favourite soup base is laksa, tom yum, curry, and sukiyaki.
Really fresh food and good service. I m general a picky person (if you have seen my past reviews), but honestly I think this hotpot live up to its 4.6 rating
Great place for Shabu Shabu, I like the sukiyaki soup option. The queue line on Yelp! works great too. I love being able to choose the meat level/quality! Staff is excellent here, they do their best and try to remember their customers.
Novembers in Vancouver means cold and stormy weather. And nothing feels better during this time of year than having a big, boiling, hot pot in front of you that s filled to the brim with meats and veggies. Cue our visit to Gokudo Shabu Shabu at their new location near Metrotown. This place caters to individual hot pots so you don t have to share with your date (if you don t want to). The menu can be a bit confusing and the hostess suggested that we pick one of their special meat items and then turn it into a combo. We decided on the Mix Balls and Beef ($17.95) and the Assorted Seafood ($20.95) and then added a side order of Tofu Fish Paste Puffs ($4.95). Each order comes with the ability to upgrade various items such as the upgrade to the Marinated Ground Pork on Rice and the upgrade to a Laksa broth. Don t be fooled there s actually quite a bit of food in their combos especially when you factor in their assorted veggie plate which actually contains some meatballs and seafood to boot. I felt that the laksa broth really didn t have a laksa flavour to it and it might be fine to just stick with their regular house special chicken broth. After our dinner, they brought us out these neat packaged lychee gelatin desserts. Overall, the food quality is good and you re sure to waddle out of this place stuffed. The only downside (which applies to all hot pot places) is that you spend a lot of time cooking your own food. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we brought some friends here a few weeks later. Unfortunately, this place can get really busy and usually has a lineup during the busy dinner hour. We arrived around 5:30pm and had to wait about 45 minutes for a table to open up. The servers are actually fairly friendly and useful and, while we were still waiting for our table, they came to us and helped us put in our order so it would be ready by the time our table cleared up. As previously mentioned, it s best to go with the combo as you get a filling veggie plate which includes some assorted meatballs, shrimp, and other tasty items. And, honestly, the 7oz order of meat is actually pretty filling. So if you like individual hot pot, make sure you try this place out but make sure you go early if you don t want to wait in a lineup. Update: Feb 2023 - They recently relocated a few blocks east (near Dinesty). Menu slightly changed. No longer have milk tea on their combos. Aside from that, most things are pretty consistent. Think their tables are a bit more squished for room. Good combo options UPDATE JUN 2024 - Recent reviser to Gokudo. I do like the more spacious location. Milk tea is fortunately back on the menu. I feel like the food has changed a bit. For example, the complimentary broth (which is now a chicken soup) seemed to lack flavour and the premixed dipping sauce leaned towards being overly salty. Also the udon noodles stayed too firm after cooking. Not sure if this was just a one-off visit or not.
This was the first time that I have gone to there new location, which is significantly bigger than their last one. Menu is the same idea of the combo of soup, meat, carb and drink. Although I think its a little pricey from other hotpot places, but still fun for a gathering of sit and catch up. They also served a ice cream as a desert for the combo. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but a little patience made it happen. I also liked the fact that you can have the callback for the wait list online, which they will message you when your table is ready.
A favorite place for our family! Staff are wonderful and accommodating. We have vegetarians in our family and this restaurant understands really well what ingredients are acceptable. Always a great experience dining here!
The quality and taste of the food has always been very good and above standard. The two waiters who served us were super attentive and helpful, with big smile on their face, which made the entire dinning experience to another level. Very well done overall, keep it up and thanks for providing such a pleasant meal.
Our go to hotpot place. The servers are always so nice, no matter how busy they greet you with a smile and make sure youre always taken care of. The food and the atmosphere are always amazing as well.
Best price and quality for food you can find! Vegetarian options: Great options for vegans and vegetarians! Food : 5/5 |
Fresh soup, fresh meat The amount of powder is enough to make you feel full. Every waiter has a friendly attitude. The boss can add more new ones.
We always love going to Gokudo because of the staff, everyone is so kind and attentive. The restaurant is overall very clean and comfortable, I love the Burnaby location way more than the Richmond one. There is one minor thing I must mention, the soup lacks flavour sometimes, but wouldn t stop me from going back to Gokudo.
delicious food
We always love going to Gokudo. Great portions, fresh food, and amazing service from the happiest staff. Will return soon!
We love going to this location! The staffs are really attentive and caring. The manager is always wonderful. We have a 2 year old and its seamless everytime :) Kid-friendliness: They prepare highchair, cute bear plate, bowl, utensils and scissors. Also have change table in the accessible washroom.
I really enjoyed the hot pot here. Its a pretty great selection of soup bases and quality meat. Be careful when you pay. When you come with one or more people, the payment is either split equally or one person pays everything. Otherwise, awesome service, the staff are so friendly and very attentive. Vegetarian options: The menu has a number of vegetarian options and vegetarian soup bases. Parking: There is parking under the building. For our midweek evening visit, it was $5 for 2 hours.
Awful dine-in experience. I ordered the Taiwanese style spicy soup base and it was not savory at all. Meat quality was okay but the soup base ruined everything. It s definitely a waste of money.
Great experience overall. It was a little busy and fortunately we didnt have to wait. Prices are fair and the food is delicious. The sets are a good deal. Will certainly come back.
The food was amazing and so reasonably priced! We ordered the hot pot combos that come with meat, vegetables, drinks and dessert! The restaurant was very clean, and service was great as well. Must try!
Great experience at this restaurant with my family. Good value, delicious food and amazing service. Will definitely go back
Vegetarian options: Vegi dishes Dietary restrictions: Nothing Food : 5/5 |
Very clean and great value for personal hot pot
Fun to build your own bowl, different levels of spice for each persons taste. Wonderful sauces to make it even more a personal dish! Staff helpful and freind my! Would highly recommend trying!
Amazing! Love this place so much! The food is always fresh, the staff are always friendly and the service is 100/10.! Teddy is the best!
This burnaby location rating is so high already. Originally I didn t wanna give high rating Cus I don t want too many to come here then I would always have to wait. But I don t wanna lie. They have great ambiance and most seats are all pretty spacious. Portion was good and super clean. Service was very very good, they would offer to refill the soup and we came during happy hours so they proactively offer to refill our drinks for free. This is so rare in Asian restaurant. Really hope they could open earlier or extend their happy hour though ... Cus happy hours end at 5:30 and they only open at 5 .... that s happy half an hour, however u just need to be seated within the timeframe to receive happy hour discount and features which is good.
Great food, great service, and great price! Strongly recommend.
The service is speedy and professional. The water was refilled promptly. Requested soy sauce with garlic and green onions and was provided.Food was great. The pork neck, prime rib, beef, and fish are all very fresh. Great experience.
If you don t want to prepare hotpot at home, Gokudo is a great place to go. Parking: Underground Parking available, $2 per hour Food : 5/5 |
I have been there a few times. They always bring the best experiences to me. Although the price of blade eye has risen a little bit ($2), its still a to-go order for me. The staffs were incredible and helpful.
I always have a good experience here!! The food comes fast, portions are big, and the service is great The chicken broth isn t salty at all which I like
One of my fav place for individual hotpot , service is amazing!
Had a lovely first Hot Pot experience! Special shout out to Teddy for taking such good care of us! Definitely a worthy experience. Delicious and fun. Highly recommended.
Using the Waitlist is a life saver. I also counted the wrong number of heads, and showed up a bit earlier to talk to the host. She adjusted my number with no problems and we discussed what was the best seating for our party. Well kept, clean, organized. The service was amazing, very pleasant and professional, and readily available. The food was excellent! My 11-year old son said it was 5-stars! And that we should come back again I couldnt agree more.
Good food, good price. My favorite hotpot place
The best. We love the food, the service, and the staffs.
This is my go to for hot pot. Beats all the other places around the area for individual hot pot. Staff a super friendly and food a good.
Absolutely outstanding! The broth is a must-try, especially the Tom Yum, and the prime rib is a top choice. You cant go wrong with any of the hotpot selections. The service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and accommodating. For $100 3 people ?? Cant go wrong
We have never been for a hot pot and were quite intimidated by the menu. Jenny and Chelsea both came to our rescue and were so very patient with us in explaining the whole process as well as the best things to order. Wonderful options for vegetarians and vegans alike. They were very considerate of our dietary preferences, and made sure that there was no cross contamination with meat products . We re very happy with our very first experience!
The cuisine was truly delightful and flavorful! Cathy and Jenny, our attentive servers, enhanced the experience with their welcoming smiles and willingness to assist. Their extensive knowledge of the menu greatly aided us in making our selections by providing thorough explanations. A must visit again!
Food is ok, service is good.
The hot pot is delicious and the black tea is very Taiwanese and delicious
My favourite hotpot restaurant. Their service is A+, and the hotpot tastes so good.
Service is great
Good place for individual hot pot. Food is good and staff s are friendly. Love the beef and milk tea.
The food and atmosphere are pretty good. Staff are friendly. My one and only complaint is that they are too lazy to give an individual bill for each person so I had to pay way more than my order for my company that ordered more expensive items than me, which is ridiculous. They put you under pressure to split the bill equally (for example 1/4 for 4 people with different orders) so I would look bad if I say no to splitting bills in front of my company.
Everything was great except the dirty washroom!
Best service and really good food! The Laksa and Curry are amazing, and the combo is really worth it. Love the new location that they moved to, everything is clean and new. Went during happy hour, unlimited drinks! Winter melon tea unlimited was amazing! My friend (pictured) dropped his quail egg after saving it for almost 2 hours, that s how delicious this meal was!
The food is delicious and all the staffs are amazing.
Great service & friendly staff. Vegan options are great! Vegetarian options: Soy products are offered or assortment of mushrooms. Both are great. Food : 5/5 |
The meal is good portions, and staff is full energy and warm welcome!
The best hot pot place on town. Started in Richmond and is expanding, for good reason!: The best food plus the fastest friendliest staff. Great prices and portions too. Had the rib eye 10oz combo, with addon instant noodles, egg, and red chilis(add to sauce and soup), amazing flavour!! Youll be satisfied for sure! The owner deserves a shout out for being the best owner and running a fine establishment! Teresa and all the servers are very helpful and do a wonderful job running the place. Keep up the good work! Edit: additionally, Ive been getting the 7oz AAA Prime, its delicious and great quality meat! The new location is big and the team is amazing.
This is my first time to visit this Hotpot place. I feel the environment is very comfortable and the ordering method is also very unique. My two adult daughters and I ordered the same entree and then added a vegetable combo. Their vegetable variety was also quite rich! The price can start from around &25! Very reasonable! How much meat does it have? I am very satisfied with the food and meat! Finally, I ll give you strawberry ice cream! It s perfect! I think it s just right for about four people! Perfect for chatting! I also joined the membership team on the same day to collect points immediately and exchange them for money to check out! Kill two birds with one stone! Great!
You have to queue up every time you go, so it is recommended to book a table in advance; otherwise, you can use Google map to queue up online, and then go to the store when you are almost there. It is very convenient, time-saving, and you don t have to blow outside in the winter
Great food and excellent service. Quality is so consistent. Love this place. Best HotPot experience in Vancouver area
Yummy. Service is attentive. Always leave too full.
To die for!
Updated review Feb 2024: Very happy with the new location, the restaurant is bright and clean, service is good as always. Food are much better quality, which justified their price increase a while back. Price has been increased more than 30%, its getting real expensive. Food still taste good and services are great, just wont be coming as often now. Edit: To add some examples to my review, Im pretty sure most customers order combos. So a Rib eye 7oz combo that used to cost $15.95, is now $24. The Prime rib 7oz combo that used to cost $24.95, is now $33, not sure how that is 10 - 20% increase.
I will always speak so highly of this restaurant! Their Malaysian laksa soup base brings me back to some flavors and spices of my home in Peru as well as the soups are delicious! The meats the add-ons. I try to come once a month but lately have been finding myself coming more frequently. The staff is amazing and very friendly, if it s your first time they love to walk you through how hot pot works and will always come by and check on you! I love this restaurant and I love the staff even more!
Parking: Its good Food
Amazing service and great food each and every time. Never. Disappointed. A must try :)
Server Jenny is very friendly with our kids. They like her very much. Excellent service. Kid-friendliness: Server Jenny is very friendly with our kids. They like her very much. Excellent service.
Amazing experience for latans. Cooking the in your soup
Teresa the manager is super friendly and provides exceptional service. The food was also delicious and great portions!
This is my boyfriend and Is favorite restaurant. I go about once every two weeks. The food is always delicious and its very clean. The staff are always friendly too.
Expensive but delicious and hits the spot on a cold day! We all got AAA prime rib hot pot combo and the food was pretty fresh and highly filling. Servers were very attentive.
As a Taiwanese person in Canada, its very fulfilling to be able to enjoy Taiwanese hot pot. We chose the sukiyaki soup, which was rich and flavorful, and the shrimp was very fresh and delicious! After the meal, we had ice cream and milk tea. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone craving hot pot.
Food
A great spot for hot pot with a good variety of soup bases and menu options. The service was great, staff were friendly and attentive. It was so delicious with great portions, would return again to try something different.
Jenny is the best! Her positive welcoming energy makes us enjoy our time. And great customer care. We are from Montreal and rarely take the time to review but this is great.
Good food with reasonable price
Service is amazing but food is not as impressive as usual
Loved this place!! The individual hot pots have a great selection and the portions are huge. The combo includes a drink and ice cream all for $33. Such a good deal for the money. And the service was great, everyone is very friendly and attentive. Great experience, highly recommend!
Nice hot pot restaurant .
Honestly the best individual hotpot experience. Highly recommend the sukiyaki soup base with the short plate combo. Daily drink specials (non-alcoholic) are always amazing. We had lychee green tea and winter melon tea the time before and it was The staff are always incredible and the service is fast. Only bummer is no reservations but you can join the waitlist online! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian and vegan options
It s always worth the wait here. Really great service, everyone is always smiling and ready to assist you. Everyone is on the ball and stops by promptly when you need it. LOVE!
Always happy and enjoy when I come to this restaurant! All staffs are very efficient and helpful when you need it! Wheelchair accessibility: Have lots space between each table
My friend arrived before me and had never eaten here. The server went through the menu and explained how to order which made it easy for her to choose as their menu has a lot to offer. We were very happy with the service as drinks and soup were checked and empty dishes promptly removed. We will be back!
Everything is amazing!!!
Good food, good portion size, good service, very accomodating. Happy to go! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating about our baby Food : 5/5 |
It tastes pretty good and the price is right.
Best hotpot in town. Best service, yummy foods. You wont disappoint if you invite your friends, families.. love one. You will have a good time. Food
Really enjoyable!
For students is good!
Always the best Taiwanese style hot pot in all of Lower mainland. Do yourself a favour and get the upgrade for meat sauce on rice
Great experience overall, portion of meat/seafood was decent. Overall combo was very filling. Staff were very quick to respond and always check up on you.
Almost a 4 star if they could just give me a few more strips of meat! Otherwise it s a clean place and you will be full if you finish what they give you.
I love this place!! Totally recommend for everyone to come during dinner
Good food and service here.
It s very rare to find hot pot style places that cater to vegans or people that eat a plant based diet. However, this place is it! Servers are extremely attentive when it comes to dietary restrictions. From the sauces and the soups, almost everything can be veganized. Definitely would recommend.
A new concept of Asian food for a group of Mexicans, very tasty .
Clean, and spacious. The servers are very nice, and patience. It was my first time there, and the server took time to explain how does all the combinations work. Only thing is, the msg made me very thirsty all day long......
Jenny was great! Love taking my son here for delicious healthy food
Service is always great, staff is attentive, food quality never disappoints. Personal favorite soup, curry or kimchi!!!!
My friend and I checked this out last week while she was visiting from out of town. Shes had hot pot before, I have not. Our waitress was amazing! She explained how it all worked, what cuts of meat worked best with what, described the textures of the cuts, to the point where I felt like a pro in minutes lol. Im also a fussy eater and she was so kind and helpful with my dish. 10/10 will go back when Im in the area.
It was so tasteless! I went because a friend recommended it, but it was bland. It doesnt have any flavor. Udon noodles are tasteless. Eat like this for $42 (dried tofu added) I was displeased because there was an unknown smell in the sauce. Its bland and the dipping sauce isnt tasty... Its hard for a hot pot to be this bad, but they pull it off. For the first time since I came to Vancouver, I didnt tip... Because the price of food is a waste
