You will never leave hungry they just added some more buffet items. Staff are fast. Since they dont cook the food for you its comes out of the kitchen fast and fresh. Always happy to bring friends or family to the happy lamb

Came here a couple of times already for the dinner AYCE! Its so fresh and delicious, and the staff are always so friendly. Special shout out to Molly and Michael today for their very attentive service. Michael provided broth and drink refills promptly without having to flag for them. Molly spoke our native language with us, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was especially heartwarming for my grandparents. Her service, of course, was also attentive. The original broth and the hot & spicy broth were both tasty. Great selection of ingredients! Love the bones at the hot foods section beside the sauce station. Falls off the bone and tender! We enjoyed the experience both times and the quality and quantity of food, plus attention to detail are what keeps us coming back. Thank you!

Happy Lamb is hands down our favourite restaurant! The food is always amazing, but what truly sets this place apart is their incredible team. Victor is fantastic, and Ling has become like family to us, every time we visit, she takes the time to entertain our toddler so we can enjoy a rare moment of peace during dinner. The other servers are fantastic as well. Very attentive to our needs. The level of care and thoughtfulness here is unmatched. It s the perfect spot for a family meal, yet also ideal for date nights. Jimmy is the best waiter I have ever seen. He always responds to customers requests in a timely manner and his patient and friendly smile makes people feel at home. We occasionally came here because of all you can eat. It s been a few years and the price is still the same. I wonder how could this be aligned with the market. Tonight is a big night my high school friends are gathering and requested to be seated at the patio. I have to admit my groups are demanding and noisy. We were seated at the patio and wow .the vibe is excellent. Service wise is great. I am surprised the attention we got for such a group of 13 (including kids). It s a great valuable meal and excellent experience for such a big party.

I made an appointment with my good friends to have hotpot at bbys Happy Lamb tonight. Its super popular. Fortunately, we have a reservation. Its cold and we can eat Happy Lambs hotpot to warm up. Although its super busy tonight, the waiter Its super nice. There are two handsome waiters who are very helpful. All the food we need is brought to the table very quickly. I order 100 for them. After finishing the hot pot, each person is given ice cream. , tonight s Happy Lamb is really a hit!

Happy lamb hot pot is still very good even compare to those fancy hot pot restaurants. Their original soup base has a unique flavour that keeps me returning over the years. Big thumbs up for the server Jim, whose service exceeded what we expected for an AUCE place.

Eating at happy lamb was great! Victor was real nice and the food was excellent and well prepared. I recommend the oyster and enoki mushrooms as well as their lamb. We tried the tomato broth for the first time. Its a bit strong, so if you like a milder taste, try the mushroom or pork broth.

Awful service. Victor, the guy seating customers, told us it would be a 5 min wait. He then proceeds to seat someone that came after us, with no reservation. Then he comes back and tells us it s a 10 min wait. We ended up leaving because of his terrible attitude and service. We headed over to Dolar Shop and received much better service and food there. EDIT to owner s response It was just myself and my partner waiting to be seated. Victor sat someone who came alone to a booth that could seat 2 people.

I am making this review specifically to the service that we have received as a group of 12 last Monday, our server Michael is such a hardworking man and deserves a shoutout. He served 3 or even more groups and I tell you never once I saw in his face annoyance or irritation with all the demands of each table has. He handles pressure well and I commend him for that.

We went to ayce lunch and surprisingly the quality of food was pretty decent. Sauce bar was clean and kept refilling. Services were also very good even though they were busy. The environment was spacious and comfortable. Much better than the dt one.

I dropped my chopsticks on the floor and asked a young male server for them. However, it seemed like he didn t hear me, so I went over to the shelf where the utensils were stored and bent down to look for them. To my surprise, the young server hit me on the head with the chopsticks and handed them to me. I was so taken aback that I couldn t say anything, but that action was incredibly rude, and I no longer want to visit this restaurant. If someone asks me for a restaurant recommendation, I will definitely say not to go here.

Burnaby branch happy lamb hotpot has tons of different types of meat and small snacks, sometimes there is even a complimentary ice cream bar. But the fishballs that me and my family were not at all good, they just didnt taste good. But the A3 fatty beef was really good as expected. Overall a good place to eat a hotpot. (PS) Go at night (around 4:30 PM.) if you are bringing elderly or children for AYCE Hotpot.

This is mine and my friend s go to hotpot for lamb and beef (the only meat we order ) Service is friendly as they do not rush you. The food is delicious, with variety of sauces and toppings for you to make your own sauce for the meats. Parking: I usually park at the street after 9pm

This location is different than other locations. The environment really felt racist for some reason and the servers dont attent too much to the people who are not asian. They pretent to listen but in reality they are just waiting for you to get up and leave so they can give that table to someone else. I love happy lamb hotpots but this location gave us molded vegetables. The manager at the front does not give good vibes.

Would definitely recommend and come back soon! We called in and was able to get a reservation for their all you can eat. We did the deluxe AYCE and would say it was well worth it! Great variety of hot pot items, and they also had a chicken wing, chow mein bar! I loved the variety of vegetables and noodles. Fresh fruits, mango dessert, and ice cream was also available by the end of the meal. Very attentive and kind service! All servers were very happy. Items came very fast. We definitely over ordered, and I felt very bad so I asked if we could pay extra to take it home. They made the one time exception, even though it wasn t usual practice. We paid an additional $19.99 to take home our over ordered items, which I felt was very fair! Special thank you to Victor who I think was the front manager, and servers! He was very nice and understanding.

Amazing hotpot place with plenty of options and some delicious appetizers too! We got their all you can eat options, which is a bit pricey, but their meat is quite worth the money. Their fried chicken also makes great appetizers and are free to grab! I highly recommend this place for a friends hangout :)

Food is great, service was good too. Only thing that annoyed me on my last visit was that the waitress manually added her tip BEFORE giving me the machine to pay. I should be able to tip the % I want for a table of 2. I always tip 15-20%, but her taking it upon herself to tip herself and then handing me the machine to tap my card was rude.

Horrible everything

Super chaotic place. When we visited, the line cluster was out the door, there was no line and everyone just scrambled to get to the hostess first. It was like who was louder and the hostess didn t even try to get the line organized. I get the staff is swamped but it was so frustrating that there s no line control in place and the staff just running around without communicating. We waiting for 30 minutes and just gave up and left. Super frustrating experience.

Went here with my mom for dinner, the staff wasnt very friendly and the table was tiny, there wasnt enough room for the separate dishes even with the extra tray table. They were very slow getting our food and brought out the vegetables at the very end by the time wed almost finished eating... they had the doors open and with the way I was sitting there was constantly steam blowing in my extremely uncomfortable face. And they also did not supply separate chopsticks for raw meat.

Went there on Jun 8 around 12:30pm, hotpot was consistent, mini sesame balls surprised me but it ran out very fast, and I want to thank the lady who brought us a whole plate of just-out-of fryer mini sesame balls, tasted soooo good! We will go there again just because of this and the service!

Overall loved our stay! We were a group of 5 and got the spicy/mild broth and got an assortment of dishes. It did take a while before the staff took our paper (they seemed like they were always in a hurry, but I understand since it was quite crowded that day), but once we started, it was a delicious experience! You can also get as many fried chicken/chow mein as you want, and have ice cream for dessert. I do a lot of Hot Pot in the Philippines and I feel like compared to hot pots here, they sauces in Happy Lamb were a bit lacking. Wish there also chopped chilis available too (maybe if you asked for it? We were too shy to do so). The soy sauce also tasted a little bland. But overall, we liked the experience and will come again the next time were in Burnaby!

Happy Lamb is a popular hotpot restaurant known for its tender lamb slices and delicious beef slices. I most recommend their mutton slices, which have a delicate texture without too much fishy smell, and their beef slices are also good, with a tender texture. This time I ordered the Yuanyang Hot Pot, which includes the classic Happy Lamb original seasoning and spicy flavors. It took nearly 30 minutes for the pot to be served. While waiting, I visited their small dish area several times. Although the variety was rich, the service was slightly lacking. Most of the waiters were busy with their own affairs, but Kevin, the waiter, was particularly serious and served every customer as much as possible, which was impressive. Many side dishes and drinks in the restaurant require additional charges, and soup bases are also priced separately. Overall, although the quality of the ingredients is good, the service quality still has room for improvement. I think this restaurant needs more staff to ensure customers have a better dining experience. Even so, for those who love hot pot, Happy Lamb is still a choice worth trying.

Overall. I can only give 2 stars. I have very good experience in happy lamb Coquitlam regarding foods and services. I come here due to it is close to my friends home, but I am a bit disappointed. There is no self serve bar in Burnaby so we have to order and they give me small portion of meats and big portions of vegetables even I have ordered 5 meats as I know they would provide me with small potions. Then the fly the fly , the fly are on my food!!! I cannot get rid of them. There is no one coming to ask for us if we need more water, no one! I barely ate but I still paid. I will never go to happy lamb in burnaby. I recommend Coquitlam restaurant!!! They have good service and good food there! And no fly!!!

The portion size on the order was huge compared to what was delivered. Although I can order more, I would like to ask what is the meaning of writing the quantity like this? The service attitude was extremely poor, and the attitude when reacting to the manager was also very poor. He didnt look at the customer and treated the matter with a perfunctory attitude. There was no improvement afterwards. The taste of the soup was not enough, and the hygienic environment was not good. The whole family came back with diarrhea after eating! Please think twice before you act!

Great AYCE deal for 22 dollars, the waiter was really nice and guided us through our order. The hot foods that were available on the side were great especially after heating loads of meat from the hotpot. Although we didnt get ice cream from the waiter, he came back with jello cubes which were pretty nice of him.

Came here with my husband and two friends for dinner on a weeknight, it was not too busy and we were seated right away. I am not one to complain but our service was TERRIBLE. I dont know if they were understaffed or overworked but we were extremely disappointed. We were sat down and given our menu to write what we wanted to order. We did so and were never brought water or hot tea (there were cups on the table) and had to wave a waiter down to get our order. They did not repeat the order to us just took our paper and ran off immediately, not even asking for a drink order. So we sat and waited. We were given our broth pot and it began to boil. And we waited. And waited and waited. We started to drink the broth since no other food or water was brought to us for a good ten minutes. Finally they brought out a cart of meat and came to our table where they left three plates. A TINY portion of unidentified meat, a plate of pickled radish and our vegetables and quail eggs. Now, we were a table of four and we were hungry. So we ate it immediately. And continued to sit at a table with none of the meat we ordered. When we finally did get our meat it was clearly not even half of what we had ordered. One plate of what we assumed was fatty beef and one plate of lamb? Our servers didnt tell us. My friend had to get up from the table three times to ask for us to be served water. I think we finally got our water 30-40 mins into our meal. We were sitting in disbelief trying to wave down servers and being completely ignored despite the area of hot food and sauce bar, which we were not told we could use, was constantly being refilled and serviced more so that our table. We finally assumed after being ignored that we should just order our second round of meats and waved our paper which again, was ignored, and we were brought a decent serving of unidentified sliced meat. At that point in the meal we ready to leave and so we got our check and left. Ive been to many AYCE hot pots before with impeccable service and I will not be coming back. I would have rather gone to a ala cart restaurant because we would have got the food we ordered and paid for.

We sat on the outdoor covered patio on a summers Eve with some friends. The condiment bar was small but if you go inside the condiment bar has much more! I got chicken wings and spring rolls and beef ribs. WOW! Everytime i brought stuff back to our table, my friends were asking what!?!?! That s part of the AYCE? Yup. The prices were very cheap, but it was reflected in the quality of their food and staff. No complaints, but I wouldnt go again.

We enjoyed this place. I found the service to be very friendly and helpful. It was cool to see the robot driving around delivering food. It was our first time and saw the staff was very helpful and making suggestions. It was nice to cook food at the table.

I ordered 7 items and when I left, 3 items were not served: Tofu, fish fillet, and kimchi. When I arrived, the meat slices were served half an hour later around 14:50. The lunch price was indeed good, but all u can eat became eat what we serve No matter how low the price is:D
