Bin 4 Burger Lounge in Burnaby

I recently visited Bin 4 Burger Lounge and tried both the Bin 4 BC beef and Bin 19 wagyu burger, but both were disappointing. The patties were overcooked, dry, and had a texture that suggested the meat had been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Despite the manager s insistence that the burgers were juicy, they were as dry as a leather saddle found in the Sahara Desert. On the bright side, the sides and dipping sauces were enjoyable and added a nice touch, but the overall experience fell short of the premium quality I expected.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I visited this restaurant with high expectations, as the server, Tinna, was very nice and provided excellent guidance throughout. However, the food specifically the burger fell completely short of expectations. I ordered the The Big Dipper, and while it looked visually appealing, the first bite was utterly disappointing. Despite the use of Brant Lake Wagyu Beef, the patty was dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Honestly, it was the driest burger Ive had in the past 10 years living in Metro Vancouver worse even than a day-old burger from Wendys. It was so dry that I couldnt believe it had just been cooked. The situation only worsened when a male staff member, who appeared to be the manager, came over not to apologize, but to offer an explanation. He cited BC regulations, claiming that burger patties must be cooked to medium-well. However, what I received wasnt even medium-well it was overcooked to the point of being inedible. He also insisted that the burger looked juicy to him, which was absurd. If this was the result of following regulations, then I wonder how other burger restaurants manage to serve juicy patties while adhering to the same rules. In the end, the male manager waived the charge for the burger, but he offered no apology just excuses. I have to ask: was this burger truly worth selling? Was it something to be proud of? This meal completely ruined my evening. In the 30 minutes we spent at the restaurant, the only thing I managed to eat was the truffle fries. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. If this is the standard for the burgers and service at this establishment, I will not be returning to Bin4.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it failed to meet expectations. We had a wonderful waitress and service was great. But, I found the food disappointing, primarily because the patty in the burger I got was very dry and difficult to eat, which unfortunately ruined the experience for me. Were it not for this one thing, this would have been a good experience.

Came for the very first time. Really enjoyed my meal. The burger was delicious. Just the right amount of fixings and I love to fresh cut fries.

Have been here a few times as well as the Vancouver location. The burgers here are very good I always get the bison burgers and they are fantastic and not too gamey. Sides are also solid and the happy hour or if you come after 9 it becomes a very good deal. The only knock is this location I would say the service is a bit hit or miss and the Vancouver location has better service.

This is on my daily route to home! I always see there are people sitting there in bin 4, and so the first thing that comes to my mind was that if their main dish is the burger, it should be something very unique! Until today, when I was almost close to there when I decided to stop there and try their burgers! By the way, there are always places once you try it for the first time you never get rid of thinking of the next time as you are excited to explore another good taste as soon as possible! But today, my first experience there was Somthjng very different and disappointing! I ordered the big dipper(I call it bad dipper) the first thing I said to myself the bad taste of the meat as it could not be wagyu, and if they insist it was wague I will say then that they play with wagyu name as you can add a few once of a junk side of a wagyu meet to the the ground beef and then you call it wagyu! I am still feeling the bad taste of the meat under my mouth! Lets switch to the other part of the burger, which is the bun, and the bad thing about bun was that it was similar to meat. They put the burger in the middle of something that you can find it in any cheap grocery store! When I asked the store manager where is the origin of their store he told me itvis from BC Victoria and then brought me the time I was there and tried Irish Times Pub and from then I always want to travel there and try their delicious foods! Or when you talk about buggers, here in Vamcouver the Gordon Ramsay Burger, they dont mention where the meats come from or what origin is! But when you try it, you feel something distinguished and original! I wont go to bin-4 another time, and I dont recommend it to you and anyone else!

I like their rotating drink menus, variety of burger and sauce options, and the service has always been great. Highly recommend you go with friends for their happy hour!

The food is very good, but the entrance staff (hosts) very, very bad, I waited for a spot for the bar for more than 30 minutes when there were many places so that in the end they told me that they had forgotten

Super delicious burgers but a bit pricy.

It was a rainy and cold night. My partner and I went there for a dinner. We were on the waitlist and were told that we would be seated in around 10 min. There was a chair placed closed to the front desk and next to the entry. I sat on the chair while waiting to be seated. A waiter requested me to wait outside as they wanted to use this chair. In the meantime, lots of empty chairs were available in the restaurant. My feeling was that we were kicked out of the restaurant, and they even did not touch the chair which I just seated. My question is that if you have a policy that you do not allow customers to wait inside the restaurant, why do you place a chair there??? Nice food but poor service.

Absolutely love this place for their late night deal! I just wish they would have a better system for when people start lining up though since people really just crowd the front and it s easy for people to cut in line either intentionally or unintentionally. Maybe make an area where they can line up?

I ordered the Bin 27 - The Bistro. Chicken & Brie burger. Delicious.. an excellent mix of flavors. Great service. *Please turn up the heat. I found it very cold sitting there. *And please. Easy on the disinfectant... or whatever that flowery cleaner smell was.

Worst host poor management untrained host never coming back this place again

Hear about this place the other week, after being in our backyard for a few years now, decided to try their burgers, due to their late night deal. We tried to get in one Friday, with no luck( 1 hr and a half wait), so we came back last night. Their wait system is efficient, very smooth, and fair, git in right away, food was fresh, fast, and delicious. Their fall margarita hit the spot. I am so happy to see restaurants like this, in the city, that have good deals going on, without charging an arm an a leg, and leaving you feel like you wasted money and time. Will def be back!!

We came before 9:00 pm , we ordered food and drinks , then we were thinking order another drink, but the server was so rude and impolite and asked for pay the bill. Then asked as well to leave from the site. Apparently was people waiting in the happy hour. I feel bad because I was enjoying the place .if we come at 8:20 pm they are supposed to said that we only have less than 1 hour to have dinner.

We were 4 guys in our 40s. Everyone enjoyed their burgers. Service was good. Server was pleasant.

I had been to this place twice. Very friendly staff. I had a Plant one on me vegetarian burger with fries during my first visit and then Strawberry & Goat Cheese Salad the next time. While the burger and fries were great, the salad was disappointing. The portions were huge. They have enough parking.

A pretty decent burger at a reasonable price for these days. Had it with a salad and youbge to choose a dip ( tomatillo lime) my criticism is that both the salad dressing and my dip were over sweet. It really overwhelmed the salt and acid in both which was really needed. Fries were decent If you can wait to 9 the same burgers at 50% off would be an excellent deal. Im sure it gets busy then

Great service and ample parking. Burgers are really good and I loved that the frieds are gluten free (no cross contamination) and they were able to accommodate various dietary restrictions. They also had a kids menu. Will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic lunch experience. We were seated in the lounge and the bartender was exceptional. Friendly and conversational our orders were promptly taken. Definitely recommend Bin 4 on boundary and lougheed.

LOVE this place. I come here all the time and the burgers are amazing! The house ice tea is delicious too and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating even though this place can be super busy in the evenings. I ve had almost every burger but my favourite by far is the pre season burger.

The food is good and its a great deal if you go after 9pm for the half price burgers.

We initially planned to dine in, but with a 1-1.5 hour wait, we opted for takeout, which still took around 45 minutes. Unfortunately, they messed up our order. My girlfriend ordered the vegetarian Mr. Bean burger, but when we got home, it turned out to be a meat burger. While I enjoyed the food and ended up eating two burgers, she wasn t happy at all. Burgers were really nice and moist though.

I ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats today and when I opened the box that it came in I noticed these white specks on the burger bun. Upon further inspection i found out they were FLY EGGS. A fly must have come in contact with the bun while they were making it and laid eggs on it! Absolutely disgusting! I ve heard so many good things about this restaurant and this completely shattered my expectations. Make sure to check your food to see if there are fly eggs in it!

Let s start with one of the best cups of coffee I ve had in a long time. The burger was amazing, the fried pickles were yummy, and I love a place that lets you pick your dips ! And you gotta try the house iced tea ! Staff and food were excellent

Came here for late night food and there was a rush of people at 9pm as the 50% off burger deal was starting. The restaurant was nearly empty but we had to put our name down anyway and were told that there would be a table for us in 15 to 20 minutes. 30 mins later we were still not seated and when we inquired they let us know that they had let a server go home early and were down a server. The entire 30 mins we waited, our seats at the bar were empty the whole time. We would have been happier to sit at the bar had a drink and waited for our food. There were 2 servers, a bartender who also served, a food runner and 2 hosts, that didnt do anything else but wipe tables, pack cutlery and stare at the wait-list. Anyway it seems there are operational inefficiencies to work out. The food was good. The best part was having lots of sides options and doing half and half. I had half salad with half fried pickles as a side with my mushroom burger. The patty was meaty but dry and the patty itself would lack flavor without all the fixings. The redeeming factor really was just a cheap burger after 9pm. Im willing to return again and update my review next time. They do take reservations, so thats likely what we would do next time.

Its so hard to find a good veggie burger on a menu, let alone multiple veggie burgers! Bin4 doesnt just slap together a beyond meat patty with regular burger fixings - they have created 3 unique veggie burger options that are as creative as their meat sandwiches. Ive had the Plant one on me burger with garlic aoili akd a walnut/lentil burger patty, and the black bean burger - and both were so delicious. The one burger was vegan, so i asked them to swap vegan cheese for regular cheese, and they did so at no charge. Also, BEST ONION RINGS IVE EVER HAD.

Best burgers I ve had in the area by far

On Boundary near 1st Ave in Burnaby we found this great dine in burger joint. We ordered two happy hour burgers, some fries and a beer. Its was all served in good time. Burgers were smash gourmet style, lots of flavour. Waitress was pleasant. Only niggle was a crying baby in the next booth , but that s life. Glad we stopped in on a whim. And the happy hour pricing did what it should, make us happy.

On June 15th, came with a friend who recommended this place, 50% off with a drink purchase past 9PM was an unbelievable offer. Got the Big Dipper for myself, and it was an amazing burger that came with its own gravy dip. Wonderful experience thanks to our server I sadly didnt grab the name of, but her and the other server working in the far room with the weird paintings and closed blinds were exceptional in service. Both the food and the hospitality makes up for the absolute joke that are the salt and pepper shakers. I will be back soon!

Heard a lot about this place and decided to check it out. I went for lunch and had the mushroom burger with salad. Honestly, I thought it was nothing special. I upgraded to cheese and the 1/2 pounder and it was dry overall. I walked away thinking meh . I also thought it was a little shady that they upsell you for cheese, $2.50. It s a burger joint and the burgers don t come with cheese? Cost me $30 for a burger, included side salad and no drink. Fatburger is still the best burger in town.

*Update* Management did get in touch after this review and offered a comp meal. We went again and... it was okay. Some magic has been lost somewhere and Im not sure if this Bin4 is going to be able to find it. Seems to have a popular demographic that enjoys sugar drenched burgers so I dont expect it to change anytime soon.

One of the worst burgers I ve had in a long time. Upgraded to the 1/2lb patty and it was dry and over cooked. Other half orders the Vietnamese burger and really enjoyed it, full of flavor. Must have been a one off miss. Also, service was lacking. We were essentially ignored the entire meal, place was about half full. Probably would skip this location and go to another Bin4 next time.

This restaurant is renovated, everything inside is clean. Menu is top notch with lots of options for burgers, my favourite is BIN 14 and BIN 96 We tried couple things and everything was delicious and I can t wait to come back again. We ordered an early dinner from here tonight and while my husband said his burger was fairly good, the blackened chicken and cheddar salad I ordered was terrible. The chicken tasted like nothing, I even had my husband taste it to confirm - it was basically a plain grilled chicken breast - it looked seasoned, but was somehow so bland. The portion was big, but everything about this salad was flavourless, even the maple vinaigrette was lacking, total waste of $22. I suppose I ll just stick to a burger next time.

We visited the restaurant just after 9pm for their 50% off burgers happy hour. The burger was good. The onion rings were too battered and soaked/ oily. As an onion ring lover who typically finishes and wants more, I left with more than half on the plate.

Had my first visit at 9pm for their deal a couple of nights ago. The wait for our food was long, and that seems to be typical, so be prepared. My partner got The Big Dipper, and it was so flavourful. I got The Dirty Bourbon, which was still good but somewhat dry. The dipping sauce helped with dryness. Our server, Abby, was so friendly and helpful as she explained the menu and answered my questions. She made sure to check on us and was very personable the entire time.

this place is legit, has an assortment of sauces that you get to pick along with your 50% off burger and side (fries) after 9pm! Make sure to get there around 8:30pm to get your name on the wait list or you ll have to wait. They also offer gluten free buns

We came there to celebrate my grandmother s 99th birthday as she loves burgers. Their happy hour did not disappoint. The food, atmosphere and aesthetics were fantastic! But Lauren.. Our server. My god was she was an angel. She was so patient with us, kind and understanding with our special requests for our family and my grandmother. Bin 4 is a nice diner that specializes in burgers. They do offer a decent variety of non-beef burgers including chicken, vegan, ahi tuna, and tofu burgers. The servings are nicely portioned for the average person. For those with bigger appetite, upgrades are available to double up on the parties or add on the sides and extras. The best deals are available during their Happy Hours (3pm to 5pm and after 9pm). At the time of my visit, happy hour Bin 4 Burger was offered at half price without sides and dip. A very good deal nonetheless. They have ample free parking out front. I do recommend Bin 4 Burger to any burger lover.

Its a bit slow service even though the place was not busy. The burger was worth the wait. Whoever thought of putting bruschetta and avocado in this burger is a genius. Instead of ketchup, you get the bruschetta, and it adds another level to this burger.

Bin4 Burger Lounge... Wow, what a discovery! This is now my go to place for awesome burgers!! There is ssssoooooo many burger selections to choose from, and ALL are just fabulous!!! Bin4 is the gold standard of how to treat your customers awesome food, excellent prices, phenomenal wait staff. I cannot give enough stars to this amazing place! Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entry with micro ramps help WC users to get over the curb. 2 handicap parking spaces to the right of the front door. Washrooms are also very accessible, and wonderfully clean all the time.

Found my burger to be dry and lacking flavor. Salad was wilted with over half of it being un edible . For a $25 ( before tip ) burger and salad I was very disappointed. While service was friendly it was very slow . I have heard the sister restaurant on Granville was better I will not eat at this location again . 2 stars for friendly service..thats it .

Been here a couple of times and tried a few different burgers and they were all delicious! I usually get their onion rings instead of fries, but salad was fresh when I pretended to be a little healthier. Friendly service, as everyone there always put up a smile!

We went as a family of 5 on a Friday afternoon around 4pm for an early dinner. Although the restaurant had maybe 2 tables filled when we arrived, we had to wait for a table.. not sure why. The server was very friendly and offered a great suggestion when the drink that I tried to order off of their monthly features menu wasnt available (who forgot to order the limoncello?!?). We were in a bit of a hurry and the server was great with taking care of us. I didnt enjoy my burger much but the rest of my family did. On our way out the servers refused us to use the exit (clearly marked exit). It would have been closer to use that exit (and we were in a hurry).

This has been the best burger I have ever had. I started with a Straberry Mojito and fried pickles, they were delicious. I then had the Big Dipper with a side of wild mushroom gravy. I cant get over how delicious the burger and gravy were. Im definitely going again!

The best Tofu Burger Ive ever had. Ask for the Big Dipper (tofu) with an egg if you are vegetarian (prefer tofu to the veg patty). The service was excellent and courteous. Will definitely return. Vegetarian options: Fried Tofu . Delish is an understatement.

Weve been to Bin 4 several times, both at the Granville St location as well as Boundary Rd in Burnaby. The food is constantly delicious and interestingly creative. My favourite burger is the Bison Burner! Its a wonderful place for families, birthday celebrations, or date night! Plenty of on site parking in Burnaby, street parking on Granville. Burnaby does not have an outdoor patio, but Granville St does. The atmosphere is upbeat and inviting, the staff is friendly and helpful... all together a perfect combination.

Great as always. Big, creative burgers, perfect fries (crisp ourside, pillowy inside, always fresh), and their aioli slaps. Highly recommend the truffle aioli. Super pleased theyve expanded their vegetarian offering in recent years to include the lentil burger, in addition to the marinated tofu and falafel burger. Its a great stand in for a meat patty, and lets the burger toppings sing. One of the only places that has a happy hour people working 9-5 can actually attend (on until 6pm), and their late night deal has made this local chain legendary. Im an og Stan.

Another excellent meal... Tuna poke and the Chocolate Fudge Torte (brownie dessert)... Ask them to turn the music down just a bit and they did ... excellent! There were a couple of birthday parties... So if anyone looking for a nice place to set up a table and have 10 or more on either side. Me I was just having a meal with a friend and a nice booth for two.

Best Burger in Vancouver!

I was passing through the hotel next door. So I discovered this place while walking in front. I probably had one of my best burgers (with bison) with onion rings and tuna tataki as a starter. Awesome. While sipping my (local) beer, I chatted a little with some nice people at the counter... good atmosphere, the people are cool, I really enjoyed this stage of my trip! One of these days I hope.

If you are looking for a good burger, you wont be disappointed. Lamb burger and mushroom burger are delicious! If you are looking for a good burger and decent service, look elsewhere. Ive been here three times and had a different server each time. Servers hides in the back. Every time I had to walk over to the hostess to ask for our bill, which took 10-15 minutes for the server to come out from the back. Better off going to White Spot.

Good burgers. A bit on the pricey side considering the burgers are somewhat small. But I like their burger patties better than fatburger up the street. Edit: Ok something might have changed in the last few months. Gotta knock a star off now, went for burger recently and the patty was really dry.

We were the first and only customers in the restaurant at the time of our visit. My burger was average at best. My ladys burger came out completely raw. 1 bite and she obviously would not eat it. You are a BURGER restaurant yet you are sending out raw burgers? Do better!

Great food at a great price!! Love the late night deals and the wide variety of Burger choices and sauce choices. The service is subpar as they are generally busy. Dont expect fast or extremely attentive service. However, the restaurant is prettty comfortable and aesthetic. Would recommend visiting again. Parking: Good amount of spots but can fill up really quickly around late night.

Staff are very slow and not friendly . Service is not good at all.Do not waste your money if looking for an enjoyable place!!!

My new go-to burger place since Red Robins! The place is clean & modern, staff is friendly & attentive, and the food is great! I got the angry bull burger, as recommended by the server, and it was pretty good, but I know other burgers are better than this, like the big dipper. The yam fries are much better than regular fries, so I would definitely recommend getting half-and-half yam fries & house salad, as the salad is quite good & makes you feel healthy, at least... I would update the review after trying few more burgers, and try coming after 9pm. The only negative side would be that the lighting at the back side of the restaurant was too dim. Strongly recommend, especially during late night hours for cheaper burgers!

Busy joint with many visitors. The burgers were a bit dry from my experience but thats probably because it was busy. If I come back on a quieter day, maybe itll be better. But definitely worth a try.

Food was great. The salad was very fresh and the burger was juicy and delicious. The staff was amazing with great service and Andrea was exceptional with helping us out choose the right meal.

It may be a few dollars more than MD but then thats why youre going here. If you want quality food and amazing customer experience you pay the extra few dollars. I got what I ordered and it exceeded my expectations in taste. Ill be recommending this place to my friends.

Burgers are great, the half price after 9pm with the purchase of a drink sale is awesome, but the service is VERY slow. Food took almost an hour for us - I suggest offering some free bread or something otherwise you ll have cranky customers.

Im celiac and am so happy to have found a place that I can comfortably eat burgers! The pattys are gf and the staff is knowledgable on which ingredients in the burgers are not gf. My only qualm would be that when the burgers are half price after 9pm, the gf bun is a full price addition. Other than that I love this place and regularly travel from north van to visit it.

Great portion size. I had the Big Dipper with the Orange Cream Soda. The late night deal is half off burgers with the purchase of a drink.

Best burger

Came here for Dine Out Vancouver, girls night, food was AWFUL, so much so I barely touched my dinner, onion rings were obviously done with old oil, mushroom burger shocking for me had too many mushrooms which resulted in soggy burger, at least they appeared to be fresh mushrooms. did not eel the love from the kitchen AT ALL . Place wasnt crammed busy staff were moderately attentive but they didnt question my barely touched plate of which is usually standard,

I ordered take out delivered by skip the dishes tonight and when I received my order the fries were missing. I called the restaurant back and the manager told me to call skip the dishes for the refund. I dont really care about the 3 or 4 dollars I was charged for the fries but I was really disappointed that they werent in my order to enjoy. I have had this happen with other restaurants and these things happen; however, restaurants like White Spot took my name address and mailed me a letter and gift card. That is good customer service. I also ordered cheesecake which came squished in a 3 inch round cup (see picture) Cactus Club sends their dessert in a proper container with a raised lid to keep its normal shape. Lastly, I ordered take out a couple months ago and I picked it up and got into my vehicle and realized I was not charged for my order! So I went back inside and let the hostesses know that they never charged me and I paid for it when I couldve just walked away. I would not order take out through any third party due to the staffs lack of due deligence to check orders and the managements inability to deal with errors in customer orders in professional way.

Great burger joint in Burnaby in the Accent Inn. Good atmosphere, part sports bar part restaurant. Went for dine in so it was a great deal. I love the huge variety of aiolis with fries .. the Wagyu beef was moist and flavorful. Highly recommend they plate their burgers better... It tastes much better than it looks. Wasnt keen on the flourless torte, chocolate coconut mouse or bruschetta. But the deep fried pickles, burgers and fries were fabulous. Would definitely go back with any burger or french fry fiend. Staff were friendly and kind. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger, great fries and dips Wheelchair accessibility: No automated door. But staff were proactive about opening the door.

Servers were friendly and very accommodating. Tried the burger and fries. Found the fries on the salty side. Burger was pretty good. Atmosphere is kind of like a browns social house type vibe.

Chicken strips were juicy and good. The fries tasted like they were reheated from yesterdays batch. Staff was friendly. A bit loud. Could benefit from some acoustic sound traps.

A surprising place to find the BOML (Best Of My Life) poke bowl. Usually a thankless curmudgeon, I have marked this place for future visits.

Bin 4 is definitely one of my favourite places to eat. Being a low-carb eater, they offer the perfect selection for me. My friends always try the feature burgers. Without fail, the food is always delicious. Im not a big eater but when I come here I clean my plate! The servers are so friendly and helpful too. Dietary restrictions: Being a low-carb eater, I appreciate the option to go bun-less!
