Surreal experience. My table tried to order for over 20 minutes. We left after sipping on water for 40 minutes. It looked like there was 1 sever for the whole restaurant on a Saturday evening during the holiday season. None of the employees seemed particularly glad to be there. The hostess was rude to the final member of our party when she arrived, demanding that she have a reservation when she told her that her party was already seated. Even when she was able to clear things up with the hostess, the hostess gave her attitude that "Being already inside is not the same as having a reservation". Surprisingly, the 1 server didn't look busy or hurried, but she also didn't look over at our table once even though she visited tables near us and we were seated in her eyeline when she was at the bar. In over 30 minutes that I sat at the table, the server didn't come over once to check if we wanted any drinks or to get anything started. We tried staring at her when she was at a table nearby, politely raising our hand and keeping it there, and then finally waving our hands in the air like survivors on an island. We caught the attention of many other diners there, but somehow missed the server. Finally, the busser noticed us and came over to our table. We said that we wanted to order, and he called, "Angeline, they want to order," and walked away. We were relieved until we saw her go to the table of five seniors next to us instead, who didn't seem concerned with ordering. The seniors took a long time to ask questions about the menu, and my table kept watching the server and raising our hands to try to get her attention, so she'd know to visit us next. We were exasperated and starting to get worried about the rest of the dining experience: maybe the kitchen is shortstaffed and our orders would take forever if they are rung after a table of five. Maybe the server would take equally long just to fetch some condiments even if we did somehow manage to order and get our food. When she was done with the table of five, she went back over to the bar without as much as a glance at our table. That's when we realized that for whatever reason, we were not going to be served at this restaurant, and we had to leave. We ended up at a restaurant in Station Square, where staff greeted us in a welcoming manner and served us promptly despite the restaurant being busy. It was like night and day. We really liked the location, atmosphere, and menu options of this restaurant and were excited to try it. Unfortunately, we never got to try the food due to non-existent service. Sadly, we will not be coming back.
We went here to celebrate our anniversary as we would like to try somewhere new and not too hyped. In overall, the decoration is just ok, nothing special about it, but the service is good and our server Linh Do is really attentive. We had happy hour pork bao which is so savory! Hanger steak is well-seasoning and tender, seafood pasta is good, the portion is bigger than I thought so at the end I had to take the rest to-go. Moreover, when the server was aware that it's our anniversary, she said the dessert will be on the house, which was a total surprise to us. I think I will be back!
- Dry, sterile environment - Unpleasant food - Great Server Staff I came here with a friend to try out some restaurants in Burnaby. And we were surprised to see one in the hotel on Kingsway. Excited we ordered the carpaccio and 2 Broken Ladder Ciders. Our server Leopold warned us that the carpaccio was vegetarian and we verbally acknowledged that we understood. The ciders came out by the pint for $6 as a deal and we were delighted. The carbonation was mild but the service was quick. The carpaccio came out and it looked unappetizing but we proceeded, and to our displeasure we indulged. After one bit each we choked down the food and politely told the server that it wasn’t to our taste. We asked for the bill and finished our drinks. Credit where it’s due, Leopold was a good server and he even cooped the food we didn’t eat. We appreciate the gesture and have nothing negative to say about the service. Perhaps it was that night or maybe that item is a flop on the menu. But it really wasn’t good. Clashing flavours, and bold statements. Just not ones that I enjoyed.
Incredible dinner at Time and Place! The menu was full of so much variety, and every dish was incredible quality and so beautifully balanced. The dishes were thoughtful and portions were great. Loved it!
Came here for the Bite of Burnaby three course meal for $42. The food was delicious, fresh, beautifully presented, and generous in portion. Our server was very courteous and helpful. We had a nice booth seat by the fireplace with the sunset glow coming through the windows. Relaxing, quiet ambience great for conversation.
We went for dine out Vancouver. The lobster bisque was ok. The carpaccio was really good. We loved the cannoli dessert. Had a great time and would definitely go back. Our server took the time to explain the dishes to us which we appreciated. Located in the Hilton at Crystal mall. Parking is on level 3. If you park in the blue stalls you can give your license plate in the hotel lobby for free parking.
Some friends and I came here for dineout. This is a review of their $49 dineout menu: 1) Lobster Bisque - good flavour, a tiny bit salty for my taste but I am also a bit sensitive to salty stuff. 2) Beef carpaccio - I was worried this would be too dressed up (I’ve had a similar type of beef carpaccio that didn’t sit well with me because there was too many toppings piled on it) but this one wasn’t bad, the toppings weren’t overkill which I liked. The meat could’ve been a bit more flavourful itself however but overall it was better than I was anticipating. 3) Braised short rib Paparadelle: the portion was huge which was great, I got to take some home for lunch the next day. I was sort of expecting the pasta to taste more homemade, but it definitely just tasted like dried packaged pasta. However, there was a ton of meat which in my opinion made it worth of value, and the dish was flavourful enough in my opinion. Weirdly though the food wasn’t really hot when it came, which didn’t fully bother me because I could eat it right away, but that might bother others. Overall I thought it was quite decent. 4) Scallop risotto: the rice tasted a tad bit undercooked and not as seasoned as I hoped? My friend had to add salt to it. I didn’t try any of the scallops so I can’t speak for those. 5) Cannoli Trio: out of everything the dessert was the winner. My friend ordered the cheesecake (although I didn’t try), but she really liked it. I also really liked the Cannolis, the cream inside was really tasty and didn’t taste fake at all. Service was just ok. Had to ask to get my water filled and it took a while before they got to it/remembered. Servers weren’t overly friendly or anything but they weren’t rude either. My friend thought it took a lot of time for each course to come but it didn’t bother me too much as I was okay chatting and digesting a little. Overall not the worst dineout I’ve had before, I’ve gone to some hotel restaurants for dineout Vancouver in the past that were very average. This was not bad for a $49 price point. I’d give a solid 4 stars.
We arrived around 4:15 on Friday afternoon. The entire place was empty, not even one other person there. The hostess brought us back to a table and then told us that they had a reservation for 6pm for that table and asked if we could ensure that we leave before then. We agreed, but it wasn't very welcoming! We decided to just order a snack off of the happy hour menu since they didn't want us to stay long. We ordered 2 orders of truffle fries, an order of the beef sliders and an order of the wings for the 5 of us to split. The truffle fries had no truffle flavour at all! And the beef sliders were about 50% fat, 50% beef, the fat was so thick that it was gross! We are staying in the hotel for the next 3 days and we're planning on going back for the seafood platter and then maybe even going back to try the prime rib dinner Sunday evening but decided that we won't be returning.
Halibut was dry. Chicken was ok but the pasta was sorta bland. Food
I love the Time and Place. Incredible drinks, Wonderful food, amazing happy hour, and Leopold is amazing
happy hour before 6pm, the pork is good Food
Great meal. The nachos were out of this world. The fish and chips were awesome. The service was outstanding.
Dinner was incredible. We had the pleasure of speaking with the executive chef before our meal. He explained everything really well and made an excellent wine recommendation. My wife and I had the best time.
The waitress Linh Do is what the par for professionalism and excellence should be said to. She was attentive, prompt and unfailingly kind. The food from the veg to the shrimp and steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The drinks were also on point. We need more of places like this everywhere. This place needs to be proud of the standard they are helping ro reset for customer service at the highest level.
It was a very nice and quiet place that we didnt know about. It took a bit to find you because youre within Hilton Hotel. The server was excellent and attentive. We love most of the food except the Nacho plate... the cheese dripped on the nachos totally soften them and they were no longer crunchy... not good to eat. Thankful the server took it off the bill because none of us wanted to eat it. The bread was the worse Ive had in a restaurant... and we ordered one serving separately because usually the restaurants own baked breads were good... but this was surprisingly not good at all. We didnt touch them after trying the bread that came with one of the dishes. It would be good to change your bread soon. Overall it was a good experience and my BD meal.
Went here with family for dinner. Its a bit of an odd location as its in the hotel in Crystal mall. Our service here though was fantastic. Truly some of the best service Ive had at any restaurant. I do not remember the name of our waitress but the young Asian woman was superb. Our food came out quite quickly and was all very good. Additionally the prices were not bad either would highly recommend.
Food was amazing and the price was great. There was FREE underground parking as well. Highly recommended!!
OMGGGG LIKE what they have the Bwest swishing whare like yasss girl no way WAY. They serve SUSHI HEREEE!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyy like sooo goooood!!! Yasqueen. Omg I liked the tuna mosquito dragon stinky breath roll the most .. but none can compete to their aqua dragon salad sushi Mura bomb no one can come pee Vegetarian options: Steak steak steak beef beef beef chicken man and goldfish flakes on beef stew milk and teriyaki fried chicken that are sooooooo yumisgusting Dietary restrictions: Likeeee I m véganisme I m sooooooooo edible. If u were a vegetable used be a cute cum ber Parking: Tell others about parking Kid-friendliness: Kidfreinliness: not friendly
My husband and I really enjoyed the Surf N Turf. The food was fresh and tasty. The server was friendly and helpful. He gave us a nice table by the fireplace because I said I was a bit cold. We would definitely come back for another Surf N Turf before the end of August. The Nachos looks really good too , we will try that next.
The food was disappointing. Took too long to serve and it ended with a pizza overcooked. Seafood pasta had a devastatingly salty sauce. Could not finish either of these. Would not recommend.
Loved this place for a quiet hangout with a friend, the service was great the staff was super friendly. We went here for their happy hour and ordered drinks and an appetizer from their happy hour menu along with two items off of their dinner menu - everything was delicious! I wished they would have a few more menu options to choose from, but we were both very happy with the dishes we had ordered. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back in the future as well.
The buffalo wings! Wow! cooked perfectly, very crunchy and actually spicy. The staff is fun and service was top notch Vegetarian options: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

the food quality and prices are great.
Got baited by Bite of Burnaby s photos Should have cut bait when seeing almost no customer during weekend dinner hour. The Duck Prosciutto Salad was mediocre The Grilled Flat Iron Steak was not great The Cannoli Trio was a joke.. Would have given 1 star if it weren t for the service and atmosphere Not to mention the parking was hella difficult
Great service, good food, good prices. Love the fireplace and the bar. Very nice location for happy hour. Service was wonderful.
First time there for dine out and it was a fantastic experience! Christina was amazing! So friendly and attentive and the food was soooooo good! Would recommend and def come back. btw the beef carpaccio and the cannolis were divine (so were the shishitos!)
The beef carpaccio was amazing and will continue to crave it! Thank you Chef and Time&Place staff for a wonderful dinner!
We visited back in June and had a lovely meal. The place was quiet but that suited us. The waiter was so friendly and made a great cocktail.
My boyfriend and I came for the valentines day set menu. The server was extremely friendly and the service was very attentive. The entrees were pretty good portion (I had the crab ravioli and he had the shortrib), and tasted good. Sadly, both my boyfriend and I fell sick at almost the exact same time two days after the meal (and we didnt dine with each other again after the valentines day dinner). He had a fever and multiple episodes of diarrhea over four days. Although I didnt have a fever, my stomach has been upset with multiple episodes of diarrhea over four days as well.
Food isnt bad. Service remains to be desired.
Excellent food and exceptional service, I will definitely be back!!
Went for dine out. The food was decent, my duck breast appetizers came out cold to the touch and the eggs in the creme brulee had turned so it wasnt edible. Thankfully my wife enjoyed her food as we were out for her birthday.
The best french onion soup Ive ever had!
Went for DineOut. Nice decor and service was good. Unfortunately the food was fairly middling, nothing extraordinary, bit bland and not greatly executed, e.g. the mushrooms were more flavourful than the arctic char in the dish, creme brulee wasnt set properly. Scallops were pretty good though. Maybe their regular menu is better or the kitchen was having an off night, but rather disappointing this evening. Wont be returning.
the man who served us was GOAT . he was so good! the nachos were bomb too
Beautiful atmosphere delicious food
Came for Burnaby Bites. $40 for 3 courses, great value. I never even knew this restaurant existed till recent visit!
We had a wonderful meal, beautifully presented. I have some very restrictive dietary needs and Chef David took care of everything. I would certainly recommend Time & Place to anyone.
Excellent happy hour poutine and sliders! The beef was perfectly tender and tasty and the fry-gravy-cheese balance of the poutine was on point. Good bang for your buck.
Hidden gem near metro
Although there were more servers than customers we waited forever for service and food and our check. Food was subpar. Burger and bowl of soup. Not hot. No mustard or ketchup available
A little late with this post but we dropped by shortly after they reopened. The portions here are ok point, as is the quality of food and drinks. We went for a pitcher of their sangria, a pizza and the seafood pasta.
Came for Mother s Day dinner. Service: FANTASTIC! The server we got was very on top of us and great at mediating the situation. She was very hard working in comparison to her coworkers. Food: mediocre at best. The steak, fries, mashed potatoes and pulled pork was good. The lamb shank was soft but the vegetables that came with it was sandy. The mussels had some fresh ones but also a mix of very fishy ones. It was very disappointing, but glad our sever took it off our bill. Overall, probably won t ever come back. But it s ok. Parking: Crystal mall parking. P1 is all reserved, so go to p2. We ended up parking at the mall side on p1 as the parking lot is very narrow.
Not a typical cioppino but done very well. Lots of seafood and the broth is not overpowering. Food
Quiet and understated. Service is good. Cocktails are very good and creative. Food is far better than expected. Someone really makes an effort to produce good food and not the usual hotel mediocre stuff. Enjoyed this quite a bit.
Tried their Fathers Day feature BBQ smokehouse Platter, it has a great variety of BBQ meat with sides of corn bread, mac n cheese, potato salad and coleslaw, its enough for 4 people, meat is tender and tasty, it would be even better if it has more smokey flavour. We also ordered the feature hand made thin crust pizza, great flavour, would be better if they bake it a little longer for a more crispy crust. The restaurant is inside the Hilton Hotel with great ambiance, very comfortable, prompt and friendly service. They always have featured menus for special occasions and a good selection of drink menu. I will definitely come again! Parking: Free parking just register at the hotel front desk Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with elevator and wide hallway
By far the best salmon dinner I ve ever had
Eddie our waiter was phenomenal. The food was absolutely excellent but Eddie made the experience twice as good. Highly recommend for both the food and service. Well done crew, well done. Vegetarian options: Lots a vegan friendly options. Kid-friendliness: Good options for kids, clean, filling food.
Ruth is the best at making drinks makes u feel welcome
Polite, fast, and friendly service. Wonderfully easy to have a conversation because the background noise is very low. The food is very good albeit my dish was incredibly salty. However, some people like that. One of my favourite places to meet people whether they be friends or colleagues for a meal.
Super friendly staff and they were able to accommodate a large group very last minute Food was good and price was reasonable. Had a great night! Thank you
I would give it 5 stars if it was only for the amazing service Leopold Paul gave us. The food was ok, but this man was amazing. We came back 2 nights in a row just for him!
Restaurant located in a hotel, simple and warm decoration, excellent service, smiling, welcoming and friendly. Very good cooking, its mastered, very fine, very beautiful presentation, its really a nice surprise. The dishes are pretty, well executed and above all full of flavor. Good beers and very good choice of wines. Small downside on the wait, a little long.
Service was quite slow as I only saw one server for our entire half of the restaurant. We ordered cocktails and the charcuterie board. The cocktails were delicious but slow to arrive. The charcuterie board was quite underwhelming, it had warm bread which was nice but no crackers and the cheese consisted of only parmesan and goat.
I didn t realized it s inside Hilton hotel so took some time to find the restaurant It s located on 3/f of Hilton Metrotown and location is good It s a newly renovated place and not so busy on a Friday afternoon Staffs were extremely friendly and she kept refilling our water and coffee Such a good quiet place to meet up with friends, we chatted for so long didn t know lunch hr was over but the lady was so nice let us continue and not disturb us Food was good, salad is fresh Only a bit disappointed for the limited choice on the menu
Very nice place for a happy hour. Quiet, simple. I liked. I only think their beer lager was not good
We were long time customers of Reflect and hosted several large gatherings there and were never disappointed. We have continued to be customers after the restaurant was relocated and renamed to Time & Place, but the new reincarnation continues to struggle to find its identity. We have always enjoyed excellent service even though the restaurant sometimes seems to be short of staff. Food has been excellent with Chef David at the helm. However, Thanksgiving dinner was an exception and very disappointing. While the roasted butternut squash soup was flavorful, it was more like a lukewarm pudding. While the portions were huge, the turkey dinner was barely warm when served and the stuffing was like dry bread cubes. The desserts were delicious. Every establishment has an off day on occasion, but it is unfortunate that it had to be Thanksgiving.
I have to say just delish..staff took great care of me. Food was delish. Will be be back..The staff all were personable.
Located inside the Hilton hotel on the same block as Crystal mall and a couple floors up. Really good food and well-priced for the portions.
Very good rib eye steak and beer. The buffet breakfast was OKAY. I will come back again for the steak.
This place was recommended for the Happy Hour menu, and we came but I was definitely not happy. Where to start? Firstly it was nearly empty but the promptness of service was terrible. There was only one happy hour menu and I asked for more. At first I was told there was one per table. Well, that was telling me the obvious. We had five people - were we all supposed to take turns? Was that a strategic way to make us take longer so we cannot order before the hour was over? Who knows. Luckily by the time they came - and I had to ask one server for more menus and she turned around to do something else and never came over, so I asked other guy for more, and brought only one more over (the one who told me there was one per table) - my wife had finished looking at it. Then my wife asked to check if the truffle fries had any other dairy in it anywhere and the server said he can take away the Parmesan cheese. That would be ok if she was asking for - again the obvious - to take away the cheese but that was not the question. The answer still begged the question well, what about anything else? . Similarly did the sliders have any milk in anything? Reply: Well we can take away the bun . Then my guest order tea and half way through our meal - actually near the end - she remembered it and decided not to have it anymore as we were nearly done. I do not know what happened but then the tea was delivered. Hmmm. Then when I asked for more hot water, the waiter took my wife s hot water pot and poured the water into my cup. Did not ask or even check if it was still hot, nor did he offer me my own pot, nor did he ask my wife if he could take her pot and pour the water into my cup. Then at the end did not even bring me a new pot. My other guests got one refill of cold water the entire dinner. Then came the food. The calamari was cold; the portion was very tiny, with lots of crumbly bits, and old dark things that were once upon a time jalapeno slices. It was definitely not green. The 1/2 lb wings - let s say 4 out of the 6 had the old stale-meat taste, and one was tasty and moist and the last was dry. I guess one out of six is the score. The cauliflower bites was about the best thing I had, but it could all fit in the cup of my hand. For $10? Not worth the money or the trip. My wife had the truffle fries but the batch that came out was not hot at all. We had to send it back. The sliders had milk in the bun so they offered lettuce. Several leaves of wilted lettuce. I was surprised my wife ate it, as if it were me, I would have sent it back, as I am diabetic and eat lettuce burgers all the time at A&W and Cactus Club so I am used to fresh crispy lettuce. Good thing though my wife said the burger itself was tasty. My other friend said it was a quiet place with nobody rushing you. That is about the only good thing going for it, but I don t think that was the aim, but more the result of the lousy service and food. I would never come here again. Anyone who has seen my many reviews will know I try to find something good to say. It is just hard to do it here.
The staff are what makes this place amazing. Under rated gand hidden gem.
Great service, but very underwhelming food considering the price. My group ordered three main dishes and they all tasted average.
Amazing staff and great food. They accommodated a group of 25 easily. Their buffalo wings and beef brisket was delicious. The ambience is amazing too.
Amazing staff and server. Great service. Beef brisket sandwitch amazing!
Food was great. Service was Excellent. Dill pickle and honey wings are a must have. Highly Recommend.
music on whole night. So annoying!!!
Generous portions, good food. Excellent service.
We had our company holiday dinner at Time and Place , it was really great. You can use the private dining space with a charge of $250. It is a lovely space big enough for at least 20 people. Sherri was our server she was so great you can tell she s experienced. She was attentive and made our night very smooth. Naveed also made sure our party was doing well. The food was tasty and good price too! We had a great time and really appreciate their staff s hard work and effort to make our night a success. Thank you Hilton staff !
Very nice place food was amazing
Not tooany choices. But good food.
Great service, delicious food and fun drinks. Our server was Steve, the most attentive server Ive had the pleasure of encountering in quite a while. The plated portions of each course was the perfect amount and the flavors definitely intrigued the palate. Overall a great dining experience and calm ambience.
Classy place. The food and drinks are full of flavor, artful and spectacular! A beautiful hidden gem in the Hilton Hotel beside crystal mall. They accommodate gluten intolerances marvelously, and no one was left feeling lack in flavour. They were very gracious with me and my partner. Much appreciated! 5 stars
Great food with excellent services. Their grilled flat iron steak tastes way better then most other steak houses!!
Just experienced an amazing dinner at Time and Place . Took part in there Dine out Vancouver menu and was blown away with the everything . Service from all staff and our main server was top notch from the moment we walked in the door . Price for the dine out menu was beyond reasonable for the amount and quality of the food we ordered. I will 100% be coming back here . Hidden gem for sure !
Wife and I went for dinner after seeing great reviews on Google. Never even heard of this place before. Showed up and we were the only people there, not necessarily a bad thing during Covid. Place looked good. Appies were meh, butternut squash ravioli was ok. Mussels were the worst weve ever had. Left a nasty taste in our mouths. Wife always orders mussels when we go out and never complained like this before. Server was great, total gentleman.
We came here for dine-out Vancouver under online recommendations but was mildly disappointed. The steak was the best dish we had- seared perfectly and burssel sprouts were great, but the rest of the menu wasnt particularly standout. From the dine-out menu, the asparagus starter was lacking substantial flavour, and the texture of the fish main was tougher than to my own personal taste. The dessert tasted commercial. Outside of the dine out menu, we also had the mussels. They tasted fresh and the sauce brought out the mussel flavour, which was great with bread. Speaking of bread, the bread that was served with the mussels was cold and slightly mushy?
Time & place dine out was amazing! The setting and ambience of the place was amazing! Service was amazing as well! I personally don t like the soup since it was too blend so it needs more taste. The main courses were super amazing to be honest and were super interesting! I personally love the halibut the most from the other two. The dessert was the most amazing on the dineout! It was super perfect and I was super speechless. Nothing needs to be fixed. Totally recommended to try for the dineout. I would come back again to try their non-dineout menus!
Great food, outstanding service.
Celebrated my friend s birthday here few months ago and we had an amazing time. Our server is attentive and friendly. All the food and drinks came quick and very yummy except maybe the dessert that look like roll sponge cake from the grocery store. Thank you again.
October 2021 Pre-ordered Thanksgiving dinner to go (saw it advertised on FB) and I was blown away with how good it was. Huge turkey, buttermilk mashed potatoes, generous stuffing, amazing gravy, fresh crisp salad, and best pumpkin pie I ve ever eaten. Even the simple steamed vegetables was delicious. They are temporarily closed but they promote special events / offerings on FB. November 2020 Ordered the ribs and mussels platter for two for take out. Another great meal and so comforting in this cold weather. I love how everything was neatly packaged and labelled. Like the last feature, we have leftovers for another dinner! The people here are very kind and their service is exceptional. September 2020 We ordered the Tomahawk Feature for two people, to go, and it was AMAZING. Every single item was cooked perfectly and delicious. We even have leftovers for tomorrow s dinner. Only around until Oct. 3 so give it a try.
Free parking in the Blue alone, just need to register your license plate at the front desk Came for the tomahawk special Great value and social distancing practices in place
This is our third visit to the restaurant since it first opened in August. Went with family for the Tomahawk steak and crab special last night. We shared a nachos appetizer while waiting for our steak. The beer on tap (yellow dog ipa) was very good with a note of peach flavor. The crag legs were good on their own but were even better with the melted garlic butter. We ordered the steak medium rare and even though it was a touch over (more on the medium side), it was still very tasty and tender. Plus lots of yummy sides (roasted tomatoes, peppers, green beans and fingerling potatoes). Overall, we really enjoyed our time there. Special thanks to Christine, Steve and Lavery for their excellent service!
we came here for the promo for the tomahawk steak for $150 for 4 ppl with crab. The portion was small for 4 ppl so be advised. You wont be completely full you probably would need to order additional items from the menu. This was our first time here and we found the place to be poorly lit, and it felt like an lunch room not a restaurant, very out of place. Not a nice looking, decorated place unfortunately. Super casual place. The food was alright nothing special.
Last night I enjoyed the Tomahawk special and if I must say the steak was cooked perfectly and the crab was amazing the overall experience was a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was laid-back casual the Revamped decor is very tasteful and classy. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. Chef Ferguson has put a great deal of thought and effort into these new dishes and it shows thru. Kudos.
Great food and service! Pictured are the cioppino and braised beef brisket.
The food is excellent. Wait stop are great. Chef Dave came out and chatted. Had the brisket dinner. Excellent
We are trying their rib platter feast. Beef ribs are very tasty. The chips are hand made. The platter also has pork ribs, Mac and cheese, and mussels. Portion is so big. Ive ordered for 4 adults ($100 in total) and we cant finish the pork ribs and need to pack. I think the promo will end on Nov 14. For those meat lovers, definitely give this place a try!!!
I booked this restaurant together with a night stay in Hilton Vancouver Metrotown to celebrate my hubbys birthday. Expecting to have a happy dining experience and good food. However, when we just seated, the server asked, Are you here for the BBQ? We have no idea what he meant. We have not seen the menu yet! We said we need couple minutes to decide. The server then left and did not give us water or asked if we need something to drink. We had to request ice water from another server. We then ordered the Ribs Platter for 2 and unexpectedly, the food arrived almost immediately (only few minutes). The food is not warm enough!!! The mussels were fishy, the ribs were cold and tasteless as if they were prepared an hour ago!!! So disappointed! The service and the food here is really bad. We will never come back!
A cozy place with some great cocktails and food! Naveed was welcoming and kind as were the rest of the team here! Definitely going back again!
Great night out. Food was delicious and they have a nice wine selection. (Thursday is half price bottle of wine night so great deal). Felt very safe with respects to covid. Covid standards were top notch. Everyone wearing a mask and hand sanitizer on all the tables. Or table was far from anyone else with many roped off tables. Will definitely be back
Really cool place was here last weekend! Good tap beers and beef burger was cooked well! Service was good and definitely worth another visit!
Came here a few weeks ago for happy hour, one of the best deals for happy hour in town. Great choice of local draft beers aswell. Service was top notch and Naveed was the manager on duty was friendly and welcoming. Thanks to the chef and team for serving up some great food. Will be back!!
Food and service awesome,Steve Jose and Naveed are the best!!,Attention to detail is impeccable.
We had an amazing experience at this place tonight. We got the 10% off coupon that Time and Place delivered to Neighbourhood residents and decide to give it a try. The slow cooked beef is chewy and juicy. The $50 combo on promotion really worth the money, it is basically a combination of 9 dishes all in one, include a big portion of steak, Yukon Golden mashed potato, salad, bread, vege, crab legs and 2 dipping sauce. Also we ordered West Coast Cioppino, it has a great variety of seafoods like salmon/cod/mussel/shrimp/potato/ bread. Not saying the staff here went over and beyond. If my memory works, their names are Jose and Navee (the guys works as server and reception tonight). When I mentioned I forgot use the coupon and that is ok we will use next time, they proactively checked if we are happy with that and even offer us a box of free dessert! The owner please making sure their hard work being recognized! A place full of positive and surprise!
Best staff ever :) The food quality is amazing and the menu is divine. When in Burnaby make Time & Place your go-to ... gorgeous!
