We just had our company Christmas party at Italian Kitchen, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance created the perfect festive atmosphere for our team. A huge thank you to Hassan, Mark, Brittany, and Shady for their outstanding hospitality and for going above and beyond to make our event truly special. Every detail was handled with care, and it s clear this establishment is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for its guests. The Jukebox team is still talking about how wonderful the evening was, and we can t wait to come back soon. Thank you, Italian Kitchen, for making our holiday party one to remember!

Went for a Christmas party and had the set menu. The assorted bruschetta for the table were nothing special, but I did really enjoy the macaroni carbonara bites; they were the highlight appetizer for me. As for the mains, the spaghetti and meatballs and the eggplant cutlet were both stellar. The white cream sauce on the pasta was excellent, enough so that my wife took the rest of my pasta in exchange for her eggplant cutlet which she didn t like as much. However, I thought that the eggplant cutlet was also well done, with a light, crispy breading that wasn t too oily or heavy, so I didn t mind the trade. For dessert, the chocolate tart was fine, but nothing special. There were certainly some dishes on the set menu that I would definitely order again. If I were to order a la carte on a next visit, I think I d want to try more pasta options as I was very impressed by what I thought was going to be a simple spaghetti and meatballs. I think that depending on the dishes ordered, one s experience could vary wildly. But I think there are some solid mains/pastas that would give a great dining experience, as long as one passes on some of the less exciting appetizers. If when I go again, I ll look forward to trying more pasta options on the menu!

Last week we went for a team Christmas lunch. It was an amazing experience. Top notch food and great ambiance. Everything looked so appetizing. Pizza and pasta both were a hit. Vegetarian options: They also do have vegetarian options as well.

Our company treated us to dinner at this restaurant for Christmas. Hasan who was one the of waiters was very friendly and had a good sense of humor and made sure all our food was served correctly. He was very patient with everyone even we asked many things. Thank you my guy. Food : 5/5

I used to come here before the menu changed. The pasta was good, but not amazing. Service was great, atmosphere is always nice here. Drinks are always good. I just liked the pasta selection before more. Good place for dinner with friends. Lively atmosphere Tiramisu was a 3/5. Ive had amazing tiramisu and this didnt hit the spot.

Went here for my work Christmas party this year, and it was amazing! From the great food, the very kind & courteous staff and the very comfortable atmosphere, we all had a great night out. Our server was fantastic, he was very fun and boisterous with us and had a nice show when we had purchased some Clase Azul Tequila shots.

This was my second time here, and it was just as amazing as the first! The food was delicious, as always, and the service was outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Steve, our server, was exceptional. We came in for a birthday celebration, and they truly made it special with amazing food and desserts. Steve went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic evening, and his attention to detail really made the experience unforgettable. All the extra effort from the staff really made all the difference!

We dined with a large group in the private room. The whole experience was top notch! The food was delicious and the service remarkable. Daryl and Tara were great with the whole group and went out of their way to make the experience positive for our family. I have a difficult time eating out because I have a number of food allergies and sensitivities, but they both went out of their way to make sure I had a delicious meal that was safe for me to eat. We will happily return. Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate my very restrictive diet (allergy to nuts, fish, dairy, soy, nightshades, and more). Kid-friendliness: They made our children (6yo & 3yo) feel welcome. Much to my surprise, they had a booster seat available for my littlest. There were also kid-friendly dishes offered on the menu.

Had a girls dinner at Trattoria, as soon as I walked in I noticed the beautiful decor and layout. We were seated outside and our server Cordél came to us straight away, she was very polite and patient with our big group ordering drinks. She was happy to share with us her favs from the menu and described the dishes down to the smallest detail!! The food itself, immaculate, the ravioli absolutely scrumptious. Definitely recommend this restaurant, and If Cordél is your server, just know you re in for an epic night! Not to mention she also surprised us with dessert on the house for my friends birthday

Ram, Shay, and Courtney were lovely tonight! Really enjoyed their service. Ordered the Caprese Salad, Fritto Misto, Lasagna, and Tiramiusu. Great value, especially with special prices wine on Wednesdays.

Axel our server was great. The ambience on the patio was great. Axel prepared and served delicious tiramisu infront of us. The food portion was small and avocados stale. But the service and atmosphere was great. My kids enjoyed the experience.

Came here with family for a b day dinner and I havent been here in years! The renovation was beautiful and food was delish. We had a pleasant interaction with ( Michael-Restaurant Owner) I believe that was his name ( I apologize if I am wrong.) He came and checked up on us to ensure we were having a great time. The floor manager was amazing and accommodated us as we were a larger group and was sat upstairs. The B day girl really wanted the table side Prosciutto Charcuterie board but apparently they only do it for the tables downstairs as the machine is fairly heavy to carry up. BUT they made an exception for us which was very nice since that was something the B day girl wanted to see! Totally appreciated that gesture. Our server was amazing as well! Customer service 10/10 Food 10/10 Prime rib was cooked to perfection and we had the pasta tower! ( Must get if you want to try a bit of everything) Definitely going to come back!

Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids to any restaurant, and I guarantee that the staff will accommodate children. But I would recommend kids stay at home for this dinner if they are under the age of 12. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two floors and plenty of wheelchair access into the restaurant. Standard single person restrooms. Wide comfortable tables. Couldn t be on the second floor or the bar but everywhere else should be fine.

The patio here gives off warm, Italian vibes and is so whimsical. A nice little escape from the dreary rainy days. I love that theyre open until 11pm. Brought to you by the same talents of Italian Kitchen, the newly reopened restaurant offers pasta towers and proscuitto sliced to order. And yes, for those OGs out there who have been frequenting this spot for ages Tratt Tuesdays are still a thing, where you can get some of their pastas for only $16 for both lunch and dinner. Their Formaggio pizza is great - Fire oven pizza made with asiago, fior di latte, gorgonzola, rosemary, and potatoes t s the definition of simply delicious.

I absolutely loved it here! I walked in by myself and sat on the patio which was lovely. The food came out quickly and the servers were so kind!! I loved this mushroom pasta. I was offered a complimentary tiramisu cake slice which really made my day. Will definitely be coming here again!!

I had an awful experience at Trattoria in Burnaby on Friday night. I arrived at 7pm for our party s reservation. I am 9 months pregnant and was not offered any drinks what so ever (no mocktails, or juice, or even water). My friend found me a water cup. We had an 11 person reservation. Everyone came except my husband who became ill that same day and couldn t make it. When I arrived I explained what had happened and my server went to discuss it with someone else (not sure who). She came back and informed that they wouldn t charge me for his spot. I thought that was very kind and I was appreciative of that. After dinner the floor manager came over and told me the chef wants to charge you for the extra spot now . This felt strange to me that they had changed their mind but anyways that was their decision I didn t argue with it. I will say the food was good, the timing of the food was also good. I enjoyed the meal. When they served the 4th course I requested my bill that was at 9pm. Two hours after I arrived. For the entire meal, I was never offered any drinks, not even tea or coffee with dessert. At 9:30pm, still no bill. I asked again and explained at 9 months pregnant it s extremely difficult for me to sit for that long. I get very uncomfortable. So at this point I m already late to relieve my babysitter at home. They say they are having trouble with the bills and need a bit more time. The manager brings Prosecco for the table, which was kind, but again fails to offer the pregnant woman any sort of beverage. During this wait time another server walked by with a large wooden tray and hits me with the corner of the tray right on the back of the head. I am writing this the next day and still have a headache from it. It s now 10pm and still they haven t sorted out the bills. I haven t had anything to eat or drink in the past hour and I m late for my babysitter. Then, it starts to poor down rain. There was a leak in their enclosed patio roof and I got soaked. We moved around to avoid it, but my clothes were already wet. By 10:30 pm (one and a half hour wait for the bills) they still could not figure out the bills so we told them to please bill us as one and we would sort it out ourselves. The entire experience left me feeling awful, and I would have preferred not to go to that restaurant. I am not the type to complain, but my experience was truly awful.

Had an amazing time here being served by Britney! I had the table side tiramisu and pasta tower for 2 with a 5oz house white. All the dishes were great and she was very attentive and personable with excellent recommendations. I haven t been back here in over two years but will surely be back to see Britney again.

My girlfriend and I went here for my birthday, however as we walked in we were told they didn t have any reservations under her name. They then told us we could be seated but with a time limit of an hour and forty five minutes because they had a large party coming in with a reservation, which made the entire evening felt rushed. Its been a disappointing experience since Trattoria has been a place Ive been wanting to go to for a while.

If you re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, don t go here. I called in last Thursday to make a reservation to celebrate my partner s birthday on Saturday. We walked in on Saturday expecting our table to be ready only to be told that they didn t write down our reservation and that it is a common occurrence there. They were able to sit us down at a table BUT we had 1 hour and 45mins to eat because there was a reservation for a bigger party. It made the birthday dinner feel rushed and ruined the mood from the beginning.

I ve always loved this restaurant, but I had a disappointing experience tonight. I understand it was busy since it was pasta Tuesday, but our server was rude and didn t provide a positive experience. He forgot to punch in our appetizer, which arrived after we had already received our mains, and only checked on us once during our entire meal. My pasta was forgetting an ingredient and we had to catch his attention 10 minutes after we got the food, and he was not understanding at all. He never offered us refills or acknowledged his mistake with forgetting to punch in the appetizer.

Went for anniversary dinner and the experience was 5 star all around.

We had a great experience at the Trattoria in Burnaby by Italian Kitchen. Our server Dana, was sweet and attentive. She gave us all the right options and was very friendly. She made sure we were comfortable. The manager and owner Michael is such a sweet gentleman. He was very kind and was chill to have a chat with us. The restaurant has a really pleasant, relaxing vibe.

Beautiful restaurant but the food is subpar and the service was awful. Took an hour for our food to arrive after ordering and still had missing items while other tables got their food right away. No offer of pepper or cheese while other tables had that offered. Servers seem overworked and stretched thin. Cocktails aren t that good either.

Ordered the formaggio pizza and thought it was decent. It was good that I also ordered a side dish because the flavour of the pizza started to taste too strong/heavy so it was good to mix my taste buds. The Brussels sprouts were pretty good, thought the salad was a bit too overpowered by the lemon taste. Other than that, the restaurant and service was decent.

We had a party couple of days ago in this location. Everything seems to be fine until the actual meal was served. We are party of 20. They made it feel awkward because out of the 20 meals, 19 was served and I was left without food for 15 -20 minutes. Even if my food eventually arrived, I felt really weird and bothered with what happened. When you have a party, everything should be served all at once. This left me really feel uncomfortable and left out! End up not eating and enjoying the party and the food.

Definitely noticed a difference with the renovation. The enclosed front patio was really nice and warm for our big group. good food, great service and great atmosphere.

How come a couple days ago you guys had 4.6 stars, only 300 reviews and a few photos, and now it s changed dramatically over two days to much worse? I wish I knew ahead of time before I planned my birthday there, because you guys deserve 3.7 stars

I want to leave my impressions of spending time at your place. First, stop posing as Italian cuisine, the 2 bucks Dollarama pasta tastes better, second, Caesar salad, are you serious? Wheres Parmesan cheese, and wheres the specialty dressing??? 16 bucks per cabbage, 3 crackers, and a spoonful of mayonnaise. We ordered 4 pasta dishes, none of them Italian pasta. I can see why you tip the check yourself now, because Id leave 10 bucks, not 28. Oh, and good things) its pizza and wine. All of this deserves 3 stars.

Fantastic food, incredible atmosphere, and exceptional service. Michael and team are just incredible and make you feel right at home. Standouts were the prosciutto di parma which was amazing, and the tiramisu was just too good to be true.

Trattoria on Kingsway and Willingdon in Elements Hotel. Trattoria has been on my bucket list for a long time and today was the day! Now the pictures are NOT what you would get as the Chef made us these platters. But they are dishes you can can get individually. The food and service was absolutely amazing and the manager Carmella was so delightful and paired the wine perfectly for the food. I added the descriptions of the food I each picture. We had the Trattoria Antipasto which was sooo good. But the bread.... OMG the salt and rosemary on the crispy bread! We could eat plates of it! We had seafood pasta, roasted chicken and a spicy pasta with burrata. The next platter was a beef tenderloin, roasted lamb on polenta and a sable fish. They were absolutely perfect with yummy roasted potatoes, perfectly cooked and salty broccolini that were fantastic! My husband was blown away by how amazing everything was. To be on point in every dish and serve it so perfectly was a huge win! For dessert we had the table side Tiramisu, Caramel Bundino, Torta allArancia and Torta Di Cioccolato. All were absolutely fantastic! I love Tiramisu so Im bias and the Torta allArancia which is a citrus orange cake and Chantilly cream were my fav. I mean they were all amazing but I have favorites lol We have found a new favorite restaurant! Im so happy as we wanted to find an authentic Italian restaurant and this checked all the boxes. We had started on the patio but we were on the end and when the sun started to set even with the heater we moved inside. I seriously cannot wait to go back and try more. I dont give 5 stars very easily and considering I grew up with Italians who had award winning restaurants and working as a Chef for Umberto decades ago, this was 5 stars all around!

2024/10/22 Special Tuesday Enjoy meatball pasta, coffee and tiramisu. The meal lasted two hours.

I had high expectations for the pasta after trying the bruschetta, which was quite good, but I was really disappointed. The jasmine drink was also delicious, but the pasta was a huge letdown. The carbonara was the worst I ve ever had, and the seafood pasta was just okay, though it was incredibly salty. Additionally, the male server rushed us to place our order, and the first dish took 25 minutes to arrive. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won t be returning.

So, just gonna preface this by saying we used to eat at Trattoria a lot before they renovated and reopened as Trattoria by Italian Kitchen (aside from the newly enclosed patio, didnt notice a lot of changes aside from it being way darker inside). But regardless, they still have Pasta Tuesdays where you can get pastas for $16. Sounds like a good deal. We visited in late October. The place was surprisingly busy given we arrived just a few mins past their opening time. Got seated in the back. Its quite dim there and difficult to read the menu. The server could tell I was having trouble and agreed that its kind of dark back there (no solution offered like you can view the menu online on your phone or let me grab a candle for your table but thats fine... I can figure things out myself and used my phone). Their pasta Tuesday menu is $16 for any of their pastas. Seems like they changed their menu a bit so we wound up ordering the Nodi Marini Fra Diavolo ($16 pasta Tuesday) with scallops, prawns, capers, olives, and peperoncino as well as the Mafaldine Carbonara ($16 pasta Tuesday) with pancetta, black pepper cream and pecorino romano. They upsold us on the cheese bread ($9) which they delivered to our table about 3 mins before our pastas arrived. We also got an order of Caesar Salad ($16) and their Jasmine Guava Ice Tea ($8). Honestly, the flavor of the Caesar dressing was pretty good. The baby gem lettuce pieces were a bit too large to eat so we wound up cutting them down ourselves. The garlic croutons were also too large but the main problem with the croutons were they were hard both hard and kinda chewy (like it needed to be baked a little longer to give it a crunchy texture). But because they were so hard, you couldnt bite through them or cut them with your knife. When our pastas eventually arrived, they were steaming hot (good sign). But we immediately noticed that everything tasted quite salty. Now, I know pancetta can be salty (and I usually love it in carbonara), but the pancetta itself wasnt overly salty (as I tried it by itself). I think it was the pasta sauce. That or the pecorino romano which is known to be on the saltier side. The Nodi Marini Fra Diavolo was also salty but you could tell that was mainly from the capers and olives (the shrimp and scallops were pretty good). I tried to eat the cheese bread in hopes that would dim the saltiness but by this time, the bread was kinda cold and didnt help much. The waitress came by but I didnt say anything cause she seemed busy and rushed. Eventually, one of the managers came by and asked how things were and I mentioned how salty the pasta was. She was quite apologetic and offered to replace it with a different pasta. I originally said no because Ive rarely ever sent back food but she seemed insistent. So I do appreciate the effort. I could hear her talking to the staff and they said they dont add salt to the dish. They brought back a Tagliatelle Ghiottone with a creamy sauce and minced chicken. To be honest, it still tasted a bit heavy with the salt (but not as bad as the carbonara). Minced chicken was an interesting choice as I found the chicken to be a bit dry. I feel like the problem was with the pre-made pasta sauce (which we could see them ladeling out of a container when they were making my replacement dish)... or perhaps the cheese that they used. Pecorino is usually not aged very long so that does add to the saltiness (probably a poor choice of cheese to go along with a pasta that has pancetta in it). Overall, I appreciate the efforts of the manager to try and rectify things. But I found the dishes on this visit to be way too salty for my preferences. Afterwards I went on Google to check their reviews and saw a number of other people mentioning how salty the food is now. Hopefully, theyll do something about that in the future. This meal (which we originally thought might be a relatively inexpensive lunch with $16 pastas) wound up being just over $80.

I have a sweet tooth so my favourite thing was the caramel budino. I never tried anything like it! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The server was great, but person on the phone could ve be a little more polite when trying to make a reservation.

The revamped Trattoria did not disappoint. The patio was heated and had great ambiance. Other than the carbonara pasta everything was tasty.

We ordered 3 dishes, the chicken pasta was mushy and tastes very light. The other 2 dishes from their fall dinner feature menu were even worse. The sauce of the ravioli(goat cheese agnolotti)was sour. The roasted lamb chop is dry with very average sauce. Dessert tastes like the cake from supermarkets. They provided very small portions like some high-end fine restaurants, two of us order 3 main dishes with dessert and drinks and still felt a little hungry. Their wine cocktail were good. I recommend their lambrusco sbagliato. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the food was the worst Italian food I ever had.

EDIT to include the fact that the restaurant asked me to connect with them by email but havent bothered to respond to said email in over a week, making this experience even more mediocre than I could have imagined. We were excited to come here after the recent renovations and pasta Tuesday promotion. Unfortunately, both the Bolognese and the Nodi Marini Fra Diavolo were far too salty for us. The Nodi Marini Fra Diavolo, in particular, had an excess of capers and olives, adding to the overall saltiness. Further, our server was noticeably cold towards us right from the first greeting, not a single smile nor did she ever check up on how we were doing throughout the meal. Particularly in a climate where tipping is expected to be quite high and post-tax rather than pre (on machines), we thought this behaviour was subpar compared to the norm. The nice renovations to the patio were the only pleasant thing to our experience.

I visited on a busy Friday night, then again for a quick dinner on Sunday. Both times were wonderful experiences! The addition of the covered and heated patio really adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. We had the signature truffle cream pasta with meatballs, beef carpaccio, and Caesar salad. The pasta was outstanding and very flavourful. The beef carpaccio tasted fresh and the Caesar salad was well-seasoned and rich, however a bit too salty. Overall, great joint with attentive service, generous portions, and notable quality.

We made reservations but when we arrived, no one greeted us. We had to wait 5 minutes before someone noticed us, the restaurant seemed very busy. There were a lot of staff working, and we sat in front of the kitchen, where all we saw were staff huddled together for a meeting. Despite this, when we could finally order, one of our pizzas was cold. At least 7 different people came to check on us, which was unusual from my restaurant experiences. Chung, a manager, was the one who heard that the pizza was cold. He explained there was a new cook and that cook might have prepared the pizza. He also explained they were restructuring and changing the atmosphere of that location. The second pizza was hotter, fresher, had more toppings and toppings were bigger in size. There was a clear difference.

Ive been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, but my recent experience left me extremely disappointed. I took my family on Friday night, including several children, for a special birthday meal, spending over $500. Unfortunately, we found a hair in our food, that was unpleasant. While the server and manager acknowledged the issue, all they did was remake the dish. No discount or complimentary gesture was offered, which would have been standard at a restaurant of this caliber. Most of the pizza and flatbread was burned too but I understand that they cant control the oven too much. But they should have at least clean UK the burnt before serving.? After paying and tipping as usual, I felt the bill seemed high for five adults and four kids. Upon closer inspection, I realized that I had double-tipped because the 18% gratuity for large groups was already included but wasn t disclosed when the bill was brought to me. When I told the server about the double tip, she wasn t surprised it was as if they were used to this and had hoped I wouldn t notice or would forget about it. I don t mind paying gratuity, but customers should be informed upfront so they can decide if they wish to tip more. This lack of transparency left a very negative impression. It seems the restaurant s popularity may be affecting its focus on customer experience, which is disappointing for any first timer or long-time customer like us.

We came celebrate my child s birthday. The table that was arranged for us was next to a big party group which was a happy crowd and they were quite loud, so we had difficulty to speak or listen to the conversations we had with each other. Our server Rebecca was professional and provided us a very good service. The food that we ordered were delicious and are well presented except the clams that were in my linguine unfortunately had sands inside making me cannot fully enjoy my pasta. The tiramisu was made at the table and it tasted good. The hazelnut chocolate cake was good. The serve knew we came to celebrate my child s birthday so they wrote happy birthday on the plate (the cake is not complimentary). Overall, the serving team was very friendly and making us feel valued. We all had an enjoyable evening with them.

We recently celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and I can confidently say it was a night to remember. The owner s warmth and dedication were clear; he went out of his way to make our evening special. The food was outstanding. The bruschetta topped with fig and gorgonzola cheese was amazing as well as the bolognese. Their tiramisu is an absolute must-try! Highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend the New Trattoria. We had a large party of 10 for dinner last Saturday. The service and food were excellent. They have finished the patio and updated the interior. The risotto was delicious and try the Table side Tiramisu for two!

The atmosphere was nice! Private room if you have a group. Bar setting as well if youd prefer. The food was served quite cold and bland...however we had leftovers and had some the next day and tasted better when hot.

The restaurant doesnt have a system for making a wait list nor a hostess who have a welcoming attitude. I suggest you make a reservation or youre up shit creek with no paddle. I wont go back. Theres other Italian restaurants with far better service.

Used to be one of my favourite places but I wont be back after todays experience Things that went wrong: - was told to sit and wait for our table, which we did, only to find out our friends were sitting inside already and our table was ready ( this happened to the group Infront of us too) - food took over 45 mins to arrive, we were starving - the pastas were cold, the 100 layer lasagna was so tried and lacked meat that both our friends had chunks they couldnt eat - didnt come with grated cheese, we had to ask - didnt come with serving spoons or dishes for shells for our clams, had to ask - server never checked on us or on the food - since we had a big group, it was auto grat, I told our server thats fine and expected but we were really unhappy with the experience... His reply was, I know service wasnt good today, Im not happy either, Im mad at the manager.. What!? How is this professional? - after paying the manager came and said I heard youre unhappy with service, at first he didnt seem empathetic of the situation at all, just kept telling us a bunch of excuses about being short staffed etc. - at the end he asked how he can make it better and offered us a round of drinks and some desserts since we already paid for our bill Appreciate the offer but doesnt change how I feel about the night and I definitely wont be back. Also I was planning to host our work holiday event there I inquired 5 days ago and never heard back But honestly I would never host the event there after the service we got Thought after their Renos and rebranding they would be even better but service only went down hill

The Tuesday $16 pastas made the food price very reasonable and the food quality was great. Serving staff were very friendly and came to check on us often throughout our dinner. 100% recommend the tiramisu for dessert! The tableside preparation was so fun to watch and it tasted delicious.

It was clear the owner took pride in ensuring all his customers had a great time and were happy, even taking my Tiramisu off the bill just because I mentioned the cream on top was a little runny, he was insistent I send it back, but it was so delicious I was just happy to continue eating and he really didnt need to take it off the bill. That to me shows someone that cares about customer satisfaction. Will definitely eat here again.

came here for my 4 year anniversary as I had heard about the table side tiramisu, and ended up getting lots of food to try! We started with the calamari, then shared the land and sea platter (I can t remember the name but it was on the special card) and a truffle spaghetti and meatballs (as everything looked so good and we couldn t decide) to share. We even got the tiramisu for dessert (because that s what we came for but we were so full haha) and we both agreed best tiramisu we have had. Everything was phenomenal, all the food was perfect, our server tara was amazing, and the owner/manager mike was super friendly and made the experience very special. Would highly recommend and would love to go back to try more.

Unfortunately today we had a not so good experience at this restaurant. We come here quite often on our girls night ( with babies), because they have a very spacious store but also their food and usually the service is amazing. Today we left a bit disappointed with our server because he wasnt paying attention to us at all and we had to call him all the time. Which is OK, sometimes that happens. But at the end ( and its the main reason for this review), we asked for our bill and he already had it printed and in one bill. We asked politely if he could please split it, and he said thats why I had it printed, I dont want to have to split it. It wasnt like we all shared the plates and it was going to be a laborious task. But he finally agreed, after we asked several times, and was really rude afterwards. It was just a bitter sweet experience, because the food was as usual very good and tasty.

Ever since the renovation this location has been a gem in Burnaby. The new all-season patio is great for the winter season and is rare to find in Burnaby. What shines the most was the service! Since the new management, every server and host has been extremely nice & friendly, and is always making an effort to make our experience special. I booked my birthday dinner here and they didn t disappoint! The Surf & Turf platter was a great the deal and the table side Tiramisu is an experience on its own! Highly recommend.

We arrived on a Monday night to a maybe half full restaurant. They said only a high top was available so we decided to take it. They seated us basically right next to the door at a tiny table with a HUGE plant inches behind my seat. As we went through our meal I noticed more than several tables stayed empty for the duration of our time. Our appetizer came out and it was clearly under a heat lamp for a long time and not very warm at all (we got the calamari). We waited for almost an hour after this to get our entrees, seeing many people who were seated after us, receive their appetizers and main dishes before us. Our server suggested that they got really busy really fast. When it was fairly obvious that our entree order was forgotten and the order was sent to the kitchen late. Likely wont be back. There are plenty of other delicious pasta places in Metro Vancouver and surrounding area.

Never had their food and wanted to try. if you are gonna advertise, then make sure you can accept the influx of orders. with this experience probably wont try or give them any business. you dont see Boston Pizza turning away take out orders on Tuesdays...

Terrible service. The staff were rude and dismissive, and our food arrived incorrect. Requests for simple things were not met with and a bad attitude, overall, an unpleasant experience. I definitely won t be coming back. Dietary restrictions: We did inform them about allergy alert, seems like they are not very concerned about it and which caused a lot of problem.

This restaurant is priced quite high for the quality of food in my opinion. The Tuesday night pasta deal was worth it, but otherwise Id choose another restaurant for Italian cuisine. Trattoria in Burnaby is my new favourite restaurant! The food is delicious and most importantly, consistent. I usually come here with my 2 young kids and we have been treated with such kindness every time. The staff have gone above and beyond to interact with us and to make us feel welcomed, even when my little one is constantly trying to leave the table. The appetizers are so good and I would highly recommend trying the brussel sprouts! Steve is stellar and we loved his sense of humour. This restaurant has amazing staff with delicious food and the ambiance is perfect for family but also dinner with friends. Can t wait to be back!

We visited Trattoria on a Tuesday evening for dinner and had a wonderful experience. We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the sunset sky, and were pleasantly welcomed by the warmth of the patio heater, which made us feel nice and cozy as we settled in. The food was fantastic, especially the tiramisu that was prepared right at our table, I highly recommend it! The service was also exceptional, with the staff attending to us regularly and always offering warm smiles. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back!

I ve been coming to Trattoria for the past decade and it never fails to disappoint! Impeccable food, staff and atmosphere. Tried the new menu twice and it s outstanding. Mark served us today and was a thorough professional. The staff are super warm and welcoming and I look forward to coming back, Tratt Tuesday or not :)

Great staff, food and ambiance!

My partner and I enjoyed our time at Trattoria. The 100 Layer Lasagna is a delicate dish with creamy cheese filled in between each bite and lots of flavour. I highly recommend this pasta. The Truffle Spaghetti is addictive and a classic. The ricotta and herb blend melts in your mouth. Another recommended dish. I love the texture of the carbonara. The mafaldine noodles are thick and cooked perfectly al dente. My partner ordered a bottle of the Camus Zinfandel, which paired perfectly with all the pastas The staff are always smiling and tentative. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I went on there on October 15th. Upon arriving at our table we were greeted by the server who friendly and personable . The owner stop by and made sure everything was good with us . It s this customer service that makes people to want to come back . I ordered the bolanese which was out standing . We also ordered prosciutto breast which was amazing . Top service great food , also beautiful space .

I have had the pleasure of eating at Trattoria a number of times over the last year-and-a-half. I have dined here solo, with teams from work to celebrate events, and for a quiet meal with friends. I have never had anything less than a full 5 star experience: from the staff that are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about their product, to management who are friendly and unbelievably accommodating. But then there s the food: authentic, delicious items (on what is clearly a focused menu not crowded with every item imaginable), all prepared with clear care and an appreciation of dining, whatever the context. Everything from an authentic caprese salad to pastas and other Italian classics are all top-notch. Pizzas made in the central oven top off the experience, bringing a real oven style pizza for a reasonable cost and adding to the experience. I can t recommend this establishment enough for a quality Italian meal in a friendly and warm environment. Consistent quality like this is hard to find, and should be experienced.

What a great location. In the heart of Kingsway. Good menu with pasta pizza and entree items. Lamb was exceptional and so was chefs special rib eye steak. The indoor outdoor patio area was perfectly heated. Service was perfect

I recently celebrated my birthday at Trattoria, and I absolutely loved it! The ambiance was fantastic, especially sitting on the cozy patio with the heaters keeping us warm. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the servers were incredibly helpful with their recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised with a little birthday cake, which added a lovely touch to the evening. Michael, the manager/owner, was very friendly and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. I can t recommend this place enough 10/10!

We were celebrating our friends Birthday, ordered 3 different Pastas and Clams! Birthday dessert was on the house! We barely could finish it all, everything was sooo yummy! First time to Trattoria and enjoyed an incredibly delicious lunch with my partner. We ordered the Tagliatelle Ghio & the Truffle Spaghetti and had our meal at their patio which was kept nicely toasty on a rainy day. Food came quickly, waiters were attentive and everything was great! Unfortunately when I checked the receipt later that night, I noticed we were charged $20 for the Tagliatelle instead of $16 that was listed on the menu. I thought maybe there is a surcharge of some kind but the price of the truffle spaghetti is correct so it leaves me to wonder how the extra $4 for the Tagliatelle came about?

I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time and was finally able to go, but I really recommend this restaurant! I visited for lunch, and the service, food, and atmosphere were all wonderful. It was a rainy and chilly day, so the waiter recommended hot water and of course brought it with lemon. Also, They were really attentive and poured drinks as soon as they ran out. All the food is delicious and I think its the best in this area! ! I ended up ordering a little too much, but everything was delicious! I think the price is just right. I went with some friends, and they politely suggested that we could split the bill without having to ask, and the bill went smoothly. Overall, the customer service was wonderful and I was able to spend a truly satisfying time. I would definitely like to visit again.

Steve, our server, very personable and professional, Stretched though. Room fine. Carpaccio nice, with ... flatbread. Sable fishy, with lamb nicely portioned but a little salty. More of an S&L feeling than a Global.

Came after upgrading, the food was surprisingly good. We had fried Macaroni , Rigatoni and Fungi pizza.

If you want real authentic Italian and awesome hospitality, this is the place to go! Che buono!

We took my partners Godmother here for her 80th Birthday. The food and service was impeccable, and the waitstaff really went out of their way to make her special day a memorable one!

Trattoria is the best Italian restaurant I have temporarily dined at in Vancouver, with excellent food quality and outstanding service. Their ingredients are fresh, the flavors are quite delicious, and the presentation is appealing. The atmosphere is comfortable, making it a true pleasure to be there. All the staff provide top-notch service and are very enthusiastic. They not only patiently listen to customers needs but also willingly explain the ingredients and preparation methods for each dish, making the entire experience enjoyable! Regarding pastas, I particularly love the Nodi Marini Fra Diavolo and the Truffle spaghetti & meatballs. For pizza, my favorite is the Funghi. Each time I leave, I feel completely satisfied. And for dessert, you must order the Signature tableside tiramisu for two; it s probably the best tiramisu I ve ever had in my life. I really enjoy their performance of making the tiramisu right in front of you. The meticulous 5-minute preparation and presentation will leave you in awe!
