Got seated and waited over 20 minutes before a server even acknowledged I was in the restaurant. Idk what the employees are doing its not even that busy tonight ? Im never coming to metro town whitespot ever gain terrible experience.

Even after getting a response here and emailing the email given, I have yet to receive a response back. Really unprofessional I tried reaching out to the general manager but after no response, I am choosing to share our experience here. There were multiple issues throughout our visit. From the start, it took quite a while to place a drink order. When my husband tried to order two Bellinis, the server declined, saying it was unnecessary due to the alcohol content. Our drinks often sat empty as we waited for a chance to reorder. When we tried to place our food order, she only took the children s orders, leading to a delay in ordering for the adults and resulting in staggered meal timing. Additionally, my sister-in-law requested that the children s drinks come out with their meals, but they didn t arrive as asked. I also asked to delay my children s juice order until they were done eating, but the server insisted on bringing it immediately. When food arrived, there was no cutlery on the table, and when we asked, the utensils were brought without napkins and handled improperly by a team member. Service didn t improve as the night went on. There was no table maintenance items piled up, and our main dishes were simply handed to the nearest person to pass along. Toward the end of the meal, my husband asked for a fourth Bellini, only to be told there was a three-drink limit. This felt unnecessary and personal, especially when the server shared her discomfort around serving alcohol due to a past experience. In all, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and distracted from what should have been a fun family night out. I appreciate the chance to share this feedback and hope it s helpful for the future.

I highly recommend this place, they are really kind and always willing to serve. The food is delicious and everything is always clean. The host Isabelle is really kind and friendly. Parking: Easy to park and it is free.

Came for lunch in a hurry, trying to catch the ferry. Staff were super quick and friendly. Really appreciated the service we received. :) Just sad that the fry serving keeps shrinking. Seems to be a White Spot problem in general.

Asked for table, not a booth-fine hostess brought silverware but no menus. Table was extremely wobbly. She made a few trips to try and fix table with folded paper but still no menus. Had to ask. This couldnt be the first time dealing with table? Had a toddler. Had to ask for booster seat. Most places ask if one needed as soon as they see a toddler. Finally ordered. Food was brought out. Kids never got their drinks. Had to ask. No quality check. No offer of coffee refill, water etc Sorry but $100 for 2 adults (I had soup and salad) and 2 kids who had pirate packs is just too much. The best deal is the pirate pack at $11. Overall quality has slipped. Service sucked and I wont be going back. Used to love white spot. Went there because there were big lines at our other choices. I understand why there was no line up

Our main dish arrived prior to our soup appetizer. About five minutes prior. Ordered special turkey dinner, carrots crunchy, gravy was on the light size could have used much more, cost extra$9 for second individual pie. Taste overall was good. Wheelchair accessibility: Not enough stalls saw only 2 but able to find parking that I could snuggle up to curb so passenger could exit the vehicle.

I only do pick up orders from this location because I would not dine in. Whenever I pick up, I notice customers struggle to catch the employees attention for service. Even with pick up, there is no host each time. Today, 4 employees walked by me without acknowledging me so I stood there just waiting. When someone approached, despite me being right at the counter, I was ignored and others were helped. Of course this is on the other customer as well for budging. I would happily go to another location if there was one closer.

The food was good and our server, Michael was great, very pleasant and attentive. Will be back again for sure.

We come because its close to home, but when you get subpar quality, you tend to go elsewhere. I had ordered the Impossible Avocado veggie burger. Compared to other White Spot restaurants or other restaurants, you would think they check their food before sending it out... I dont know why, but I lifted my patty up to add some ketchup to it, and I was shocked to see no avocado. I told the server who told the lead who came by with a sad looking avocado. That is one small piece!? If you are running out, just say it and I would have ordered something else. They didnt comp the burger but comp a dessert. It was not memorable that I didnt finish it.

Amazing service, and great hot food! Our server was extremely attentive to us, and was always on top of drink refills and checking in on us. We had one person in our party who showed up late, and our server purposely held his order back in the kitchen to keep the food hot and ready. Amazing!

One of my favorite White Spot locations in lower mainland. Service always top notch and friendly, food quality is great and stable.

2024.07 Second visit to eat happy hour fried shrimp and onion rings. The service is superb. 2024.07 This is my first time eating at this White Spot. The service is very good and the food is also very good. Will come often in the future.

Good food and restaurant but prices feel a bit high

Wow never eat here on pirate pack day! Ordered 2 hours in advance and still had to wait half hour for food. One item was missing n no pirate boat for the kid!! That was one of the main reasons for going there! And all the food was cold and no trie o sauce...glad they make you tip before you pick up never again!

Its white spot. Real sliced potatoes...but, they come out tasteless. North vancouver main street white spot is consistently good, quick and to the point.

Great place to take the family and friends

Visited today (Saturday June 8th) and we were seated in a dirty booth. Crumbs and greasy handprints all over the seats of the booth. Looks like it hasn t been wiped between guests.

Clean and clean, plenty of seats, good service, normal food delivery speed, sufficient and fresh coffee, suitable for people who dont have strong taste, you can add more freely, the chicken salad is light and not greasy, but the chicken is not tender enough and needs to be improved Will be more popular with diners. We lovecthis Whitespot but we were seated at the very back no problem until 2 tables of screaming toddlers. I understand family restaurants however a manager can politely say please control your children Or they could off to move us. The waitress was rushing us through to order the Zoo sticks arrived then rigjt on top our meals, and we explicitly said ZOOSTICKS first. The waitress tried to clear our plates before we were finished....she clearly did not want to be there. The Zoo sticks limp old and cold. Clearly stated no lettuce or tomato on my legendary oh sorry I thought you said no triple O sauce. FRIES OLD AND COLD. No offer to refill our pop. Now for the bill to be over $ 70 for that it was at best

We were at the White Spot for breakfast. They had several breakfast options and I chose one of the Eggs Benedict options. It was much better than the one I had a popular restaurant on Granville Island. Food

Loved the food at this restaurant. I have eaten at White Spot on previous trips to Vancouver, but on this trip for three weeks, I visited four times. Endless fries, or smash brown with brunch are nice. Wine Wednesdays are another good reason to eat here. Staff is friendly and know the menu well to answer questions. Love the dishes with steelhead.

Friendly staff,fast service, fast food

A few weeks ago we had an order delivered by Skip The Dishes, as White Spots fare is usually very enjoyable. Sadly this order did leave a little something to be desired. When management was made aware of the issue it was quickly addressed, very professionally, with both tact and diplomacy. We look forward to enjoying White Spots delicious fare again.

It has been a while since we last dined at this restaurant. We went for Happy Hour yesterday & had a grand time - service by Celina was excellent. She is courteous, friendly & the food was delicious. Given the nature of our food, Celina was extremely considerate giving us extra paper napkins without us even asking her for it.

The receptionist and the server were nice and accommodating.

I could hear the store chime non stop and even determined it was for the outside door and I watched our table assistant ignore my friends coffee placement on the edge for a refill. The food tasted amazing me and my guest were so happy for the nostalgic of the burgers.

Three years ago, I moved from the Lower Mainland to Quebec. High on the list of things I miss about living in Vancouver is White Spot. My visit to this location was my first since moving. The atmosphere was exactly what I missed and wanted. The Legendary burger plater was as tasty as I had expected. My perception is that the burger and portion size of Cole Slaw (which I think the Spot does better than most restaurants) and fries were smaller than it was 3 years ago, which I expected because of inflation impact on restaurant prices. I note that our waiter advised that I could ask for more fries, so really not an issue. Our server was attentive and friendly. White Spot is one of my comfort food selections, and I recommend any location I have ever been to, including the Metro Town restaurant. Parking: Theres lots of parking on site.

This is a very kids friendly place. The food is great, the service is good. Sometimes I dont find a parking spot but usually is ok. Parking: Sometimes during lunch or dinner hours, there are not enough parking spots in the lot. Kid-friendliness: They have a good selection of kids menu. My kids love the pirate boat and coloring to order their food!

2nd year in a row weve booked a large group for a small kids bday and both times the little kids (under 5) have been left waiting for their food while adults got served, even though we made sure to order the kids all first. Adult meals punched in wrong so that additions or removals from burgers werent done right. Last year we complained via email and I was told someone would make it right which didnt happen. This year we didnt bother, because if they didnt care the first time why would they now? Having a 4 year old sot hungry for nearly an hour while adults and other kids eat, and half the party is finished eating them then other half us just getting the food is nuts. Will NOT ever come here again. Kid-friendliness: Cant seem to make sure kids get fed even when the pirate paks are ordered first. REALLY disappointed.

Had lunch with my parents today after I had just gotten out of the hospital. I was graving a Vanilla milk shake and it hit the spot. Our server Leah was very friendly and fantastic service witch made our visit very pleasant. Thank you

This is a good location, menu recently updated- more vegetarian options available. I ordered the avo queso breakfast bowl with the cheese sauce and avo creme on the side (sauces were a bit heavy)- very tasty and large portion of scrambled eggs with lots of veggies over smashed potatoes. I would definitely order this item again. My dad got waffles with blueberries and whipped cream. We often go to this location together for brunch and enjoy the atmosphere and food. Lots of booths for seating which is always nice.

Ordered Salmon burgers with spot salad online today. The burgers were cold. The vegetables were rotten. Absolutely disgusting.

I got the pasta chicken Alfredo with gluten free noodles and it had a good flavor. There wasnt much sauce, not sure if they didnt mix it or what, but many of the noodles were plain and it was hard to mix. But what *was* mixed was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not too tough but still a little charred. I got my food to go, but when I was in the restaurant the vibe was kind of depressing, couldnt exactly say why. The staff were kind and helpful. Ordering online was easy and pick up was a breeze. Its a great gluten free option, especially if youre in a time crunch or on a specific schedule.

My dad and I have really gone off this place, as its gone downhill. The clubhouse sandwich was good before but now its $19 and they barely put any meat in it! Fries are small and overcooked most of the time. Not the best service here. Once I heard a waiter ask a party if they wanted to put a tip on their gift card they were using!

Their spot salad is pretty delicious! Wish there were more floor-to-ceiling windows, and a place where I can plug in my computer. Can be a bit clang-y/noisy - could use plants between tables for added privacy and some soft noise-deadening surfaces.

I would like to vote 0 star if there is an option. The cutleries looking unsanitary, and not provided to everyone till we were asking for. The Chicken Cobb Salad served without avocado and chicken was in one piece. The explanation from the servant was they ran out of soft avocado. I don t know whether I was too lucky or it s happened here pretty often. I hope they could tell the customer in advance instead of throwing the explanation after the fact. The servant advised he told the kitchen before but apparently nothing improved.

Only my second trip to B.C. We stayed at the Best Western across the street. My wife and I wanted to avoid driving for dinner after being in the car for 6 hours, so we walked around town. After being denied service at a Chinese restaurant. Certainly not because of racial profiling *cough*. We found a nice place to eat at White Spot. We felt welcome here as the name of the restaurant suggested. The food was terrific. Ordered a Louisiana fried chicken sandwich with Poutine. Poutine was on my checklist for foods I wanted to eat before going back to the states. It was delicious! For desert, a blueberry topped cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. Our server was friendly and the menu was full of goodies.

Had to go here for lunch today as its moms fave and its moms birthday. Beef Dip, chicken broccoli bake and hummus plate were great but if someone orders a bowl of soup and the bowl is still full when cleared from the table, that item should be taken off the bill. Your clam chowder today was horrible. One spoonful was enough. Thanks.

the server informed us that the chicken on the salad was now being served cold and he was getting a lot of complaints, but he could have them cook a fresh breast if we wanted. It makes me more comfortable eating there knowing the staff is honest about the food.

This is my go-to dinner spot when traffics makes the commute home a nightmare. I always get the best service, and the food is consistently delicious. My favourite place to wait out the traffic and relax aster a day at work.

We booked a table of 10 with 6 kids and 4 adults. Our table was under the air vent and the ac was blasting so we all had to wear our jackets. I ordered the beef dip and the taste I gave it a 4/10. Reason for that was the au jus sauce was a bit bland and the brioche was hard as hard as a rock. I had to bite it carefully so I dont crack my teeth. The kids ordered the pirate boats and they seem to like it. Our server was not friendly and she seems kinda annoyed when we asked for stuff. I work in the hospitality industry so I know all about customer service but I dont blame her, maybe she was by herself and had to serve a bunch of tables!!!!?? The only thing I really appreciated was the 4 coupons for fly over Canada but we dont need it since weve been there every year for our tourism challenge. However, this is definitely a family restaurant and great for kids. Oh and they have a big parking lot.

It is my go to order 99% of the time when I go to White Spot. I always take half with me as I can not finish it. I had it delivered in past as well. The amount I got today is ridiculous. I know customer always gets less when they order for take out but this is not a $21 meal. This is a kids portion. Most of that little I got was broccoli. The pumpkin pie crust fell apart the moment I got my fork near by. And the the salad dressing was missing.

Normally this is my go-to White Spot but today was pretty disappointing. The server went from being *way too* attentive (asked my dining companion if he was ready to order before he even had a chance to open his menu) to totally disappearing on us and us having to wave her down after waiting for quite some time for a simple refill on my friends drink. It took several more minutes of waiting before we had to wave her down to find out where his refill was. She showed up with a take out box, basically her telling us she wanted us to leave, instead of the drink we requested. It took over twenty minutes, all told. Not once was I offered a refill on my almost criminally overpriced coffee. I think Ill stick to only coming here when no other option is available to me, going forward.

Our group reserved the private room space for our luncheon following the South Burnaby Remembrance Day ceremonies. Excellent food with great company following a three year pandemic hiatus.

I rate this place high for meeting with people. My one suggestion would be to accept reservations. When you are bringing people together, it is important that they know they will have a table. No reservations could drive away business meetings as well as important family gatherings.

Great Whitespot. Food is always decent, service is usually good. Fairly decent accessibility for wheelchair users. Though the parking lot is a bit awkward thats more the location then the restaurant. I just they had dairy free subs, I miss their milkshakes terribly.

Ordered two breakfasts this morning from this location, delivered by Uber Eats. This restaurant literally divided the one order into two packages, and charged $50. The one package came with 3 smashbrowns, and the other came with 6. There was no more than 1 egg in each package. For what this restaurant charged, the quantity is ridiculously small. If you are ordering delivery, avoid White Spot at all costs.

The restaurant is much bigger than it looks. A great variety of seating. Surprisingly a LOT of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Great ramp outside.
