At Singapore Hawker we believe that values such as tradition and family cannot be compromised. Our fast food concept honors the hawker style dinning culture in Singapore, that can accommodate groups of all sizes. We offer a diverse menu with options that are satiating and flavourful. Whether you're in for a quick lunch or family dinner, we have you covered!
Came over during dinner rush. Not a long wait, but you have to write down name on the wait list to grab a spot. There were a few diners who were not aware. Luckily the wait wasnt too long. Food was decent. Abit on the sweet side. Food came out hot, and we enjoyed it. We also received on the house desert.
Favourite place for Singaporean food (and some Malaysian specialties) in the lower mainland, along with the Coquitlam Centre location. No frills but tasty and reasonably priced food - we always get the hainanese chicken rice (their sauces are great) and then rotate between laksa, satay beef noodle and Kari lembu. There were new dishes on the menu which we will need to try sometime.
Found a sharp piece of hard bamboo skewer in my fried noodles. Almost bit into it and cut my tongue. Also lots of noodles are severely burnt and charred. Requested medium spicy but not spicy at all. This place used to be good and a neighbourhood gem but no longer.
Went there for lunch, this place is so damn busy! we were lucky we got out table before waiting list started. parking little bit challenging though but we were lucky we got a spot close by. Service was fast and friendly, and the food all are yummy !! we went there 2 days in a row!! yeah, that good 😂 Ordered Kari Lembu on rice (tasty and brisket soft melt in your mouth), Beef Rendang with Ginger Rice (tasty), Singapore Laksa, Roti Canai, Gado Gado, Nyonya Yellow Curry with mixed Vegetables (tasty-vegan menu). Highly recommended: Kari Lembu on rice, Nyonya Yellow Curry w/ Mixed Vegetables, Beef Rendang w/ Ginger Rice. Definitely gonna be one of my favourite place to eat.
I'm not sure if they changed the chef, but the food are different from the last time we're here. A lot of items are not available on the menu, though they added a few new items on a separate menu. I ordered the Hainanese chicken rice, the chicken itself looks unnaturally yellow/orange, and also taste ovely sweet. The Curry Beef Brisket taste good but comes with very little sauce and not enough meat. Overall, our experience is quite underwhelming, not sure if we're coming back anytime soon.
Hands down the best curry beef brisket. Brisket is tender and melt in your mouth. The sauce is paste like which is super flavorful. The line up can be long but totally worth it. Service is good too. Consider you pay for your meal in front, waitress don’t work hard for “tips” (they already know how much you tipped). We miss the curry beef brisket if we don’t have it for a few weeks.
Tasty, tasty, tasty! Just as good as their Coquitlam location. Counter style ordering. Prices are fair and portions are reasonable but above all, so so tasty! One of my favourite places for curry beef.
Enjyed skewers, curry chicken, roti canai, veggie laksa. Went again today and packed but got table in few minutes. Had roti canai, curry chicken wings, fried noodles. Good but little greasy. Went again with friends and enjoyed char bee hon and yellow curry prawn and ginger rice. Came again and had skewers and rice noodles
I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. The food quality was terrible, and shortly after eating, I experienced severe stomach pain that has persisted for three days. I m still on medication to recover. The hygiene and food safety standards at this restaurant are highly questionable. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.
the food is soo good and all the staff here are very trained and friendly
First time and loved it!

Love all their appetizers and drinks
Excellent food! Very authentic!
Everything is fantastic. Good service and delicious food, will be back to eat
Never fails to impress! I tried their Holy basil with minced pork this time, and it was absolutely delicious. The minced pork was perfectly seasoned with fresh basil, creating a flavorful, aromatic dish. The coconut rice was fragrant and complemented the pork beautifully comfort food at its finest. I also ordered their new Nyonya Chicken Pot and Singapore Pork Ribs. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and perfect for sharing. The ribs were tender with a tangy, slightly spicy glaze, and the chicken pot was rich, hearty, and packed with spices. The food, service, and atmosphere make this place a gem. Highly recommend for authentic Southeast Asian flavors!
The Hainanese Chicken on rice and roti here are my favourite.
Its like home all over again, I love it!
The food and service were good. It was the busiest time of the day but we were looked after and our food came quickly.
Staff was very kind and food was delicious
I had such a great experience at this Singaporean restaurant! The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was spot on. The laksa was rich and comforting, and the Hainanese chicken rice was one of the best I ve ever had. The service really stood out too everyone was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. If youre craving authentic Singaporean food and great service, this is the place to go. I ll definitely be back!
The curry beef is amazingly tender and the flavor is very enrich
Good food and excellent service
Great food, good service, good price, wonderful restaurant
Super authentic taste! ! ! The waiters are very young and full of energy and smiles.
Always my go to spot. Really friendly staff and tasty food!!
Very yummy food. Highly recommend the Kari Lembu, my literal favourite curry in all of Burnaby is from this place.
juan is the best server
laksa is good as always, but seafood taste like rubber. Chewy but no taste, exactly like rubber.
Many selection and great food
We are regular customers at Singapore Hawker Restaurant and absolutely love it. They frequently update their menu, giving us exciting new dishes to try. The customer service is outstanding staff are always friendly, smiling, and courteous, whether taking our order or offering dessert. It has truly become our favorite spot for a meal.
Been eating in with Singapore Hawker since they open. Food never disappoints me and the staff are always very kind and helpful. My favorite place honestly
pretty good food with a great spacious space
Very nice hainanese chicken rice
Love going back to this restaurant! I love their hainanese chicken!
Great service!
Excellent and authentic food! Staff are very friendly.
Amazing food and service! Vegetarian options: Great options! Food : 5/5 |
The hainanese chicken is the best in town.
Love the food!
Yummy, authentic Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. One of the best Laksas in town!
Generous food portions and good price.
Food was hot and delicious service was quick and friendly
Weve been here so many times and their food is so much like the meals weve ordered from Singaporean hawker stalls!
Enjoy their food, as always.
I love this place. The food is delicious. My go to place when I have a craving for laksa and roti canai!
This is my first time. I feel really happy with the food and especially their great service. Its going to be my regular restaurant for sure.
Friendly, quick service delicious food.
The best restaurant that ever been! Especially waitress Candice gave us perfect experience, definitely my go to restaurants
Good food, good service!
First time at this location as I usually go to the Coquitlam one. This location is definitely brighter. Had the Kari lembu. It was delicious. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven t.
Just had a very satisfying lunch of roti canai, holy basil minced pork and Singapore beef satay soup. Flavours were great, nice amount of heat, great umami. A few shabby parts like worn out menus, but definitely worth a stop.
Server Jason was awsm!
Awesome food and exceptional service.
My family and I LOVE this place. Especially my wife hahaha I highly recommend their Kari Lembu and Smoked Pork
Clean and decent food. New claypot with chicken is my go to now.
I am appalled by the treatment I received at this restaurant. The host at the entrance was shockingly rude, treating guests with outright hostility and, at times, even pushing them away as if we were unwelcome. Is this really how you want to represent your business? Management needs to take a hard look at how this behavior reflects on the restaurant as a whole. I suggest serious action be taken to address the dismissive and unprofessional attitude of the front staff before you lose more customers. This level of disrespect is unacceptable!
This place is a true hidden gem in Burnaby! Its relatively low-key, so not many people know about it yet. I highly recommend it for family gatherings or get-togethers with friends, as they offer a variety of authentic dishes perfect for sharing. It s also great for a quick grab-and-go option for students and office workers during lunch hours. I definitely plan to return and will be sure to introduce it to my friends! Parking: Sharing parking lot with next door restaurant. Or you can park a bit further around the neighbourhood area (5-7 mins walk, not that bad for free)
Mid experience. Heavily recommend the curry with brisket and rice. But that might be the only highlight. The Taiwanese chicken is too salty, the one with the chicken is way too bland, and the pineapple fried rice had way too many ingredients. The portions are huge, but the dessert afterwards tasted so sweet, I just drank a sip and left. And why do you request a tip? You only give us water and refill it. You should just make it an option and not mandatory. Maybe would come back.
Ordered the boneless hainanese chicken. It s not bad but not as good as the one from their Coquitlam store. The chicken is more dry. The sauce of the chicken seems to be diluted cannot taste it. The red sauce from the meal tastes the same but the green sauce tastes too salty and it was supposed to be sour based on the previous visits at the Coquitlam location. The soup that comes with the meal was made with dry seaweed instead of winter melon from the Coquitlam melon. A little bit less effort in my opinion and doesn t taste as good in comparison. I m glad now there s one closer to me but I will still probably just eat at the Coquitlam location..
After being greeted at the door, we were seated and given menus, cutlery, water, and politely told how ordering works. After ordering and paying at the counter, the food was brought to us. The laksa, char kuey teow, pandan leaf chicken, & roti canai were all very tasty! There was more table service than expected, and we were given complimentary dessert, which was appreciated! A definite return visit is in my future!
Good food
The best food. The best service. I will be coming again.
It is spacious & well lit inside. You are seated first. Water, menus, cutlery and dishes are brought to you. When ready, you order & pay at the front counter. (Cash preferred but credit card machine is available.) We got rendang beef, nyonya yellow curry chicken with veg, braised short ribs and holy basil minced pork with coconut chicken (level: spicy) and a side order of ginger rice. Rendang was out of this world tender, complex flavours with lemongrass topnotes, Huge chunks of brisket, not fatty. Nyonya chicken was listed as chicken breast. Due to velvetting (?), seemed like dark meat texture. Flavour was sharper than rendang, but mellowed a bit by the rich coconut. Some veggies were mmm incognito-deep fried before being added to curry. The eggplant & green beans were divine. basil minced pork was amazingly pungeant. Lovely hits of Thai red chilis. I had ordered it extra spicy but since this was our first time, the cashier suggested spicy. Beef short ribs- tender, large pieces. Garlic and chilis floating in the thin braising sauce. It was sweet sour from maybe miren? Friends who had come previously said that this was the star. For us, it was a lovely flavour but it was a smidge on the sweet side. We typically go for pungeant, rich, spicy, garlicy flavours. We likely wouldnt order this again. But if it was on a share table, wed defo eat it & enjoy it. NO WAITING - It was busy when we first got there for a late lunch. But we got seated immediately. Then it fizzled out. A half hour later, hoppin busy again. We didnt have issues finding parking or a table. But we were seated by the front door. It was cold and a bit noisy. (Luck of the draw.) PORTIONS were large. We ate a big lunch. And had enough for dinner that & the following night. Resto food is rich so we added our own steamed brocco to spread out the portions. All 3 meals were very satisfying. The takeout boxes appeared to be on the small side. RECOMMENDATION: put down your device and go eat here immediately
Great place and such quick service ! Quality of the food is amazing and good value.
If you have zero intentions on doing anything after eating here, this the perfect spot for you!!! You ll be at home sitting on your throne with chills and won t be allowed to get off of it for the rest of the day. Inside the restaurant you re greeted with blinding lights and IKEA furniture that your kid sits on at daycare. Portions are small for the fortune they re asking for. Overall a very poor experience. Don t come here unless you enjoy all the things I stated.
I always order the beef curry with white rice and extra sambal... They have the best taste and very authentic... And its halal
The staff were pleasant enough, but I was quite under-whelmed by the food. I got takeout and while the portion of the main dish was fair, the satay chicken skewers were very small and quite stringy. The main rice dish was bland, with very few bits of vegetables and an unpleasant mess of undercooked egg on the top. It was my first time there and was looking forward to it. Sadly disappointed.
Food was okay...too greasy for my liking. Service was good but be aware certain dishes take extremely long to make.
The food was great but the service from the girl with ashy coloured hair was horrible. Ironically, she seems to be in a managerial position. She refused to try and help us change our kid s order when we realized we made a mistake only seconds after we paid. All other servers in the restaurant seemed good.
A Disastrous Experience at Singapore Hawker - Burnaby, BC I recently visited Singapore Hawker on Oct 6, 2024, with my friends and family, hoping to share the delightful experience I had during previous dine-ins. However, what unfolded was nothing short of a nightmare. I placed my takeout order 30 minutes before arriving, expecting that this would give the restaurant ample time to prepare my food. The staff on the phone assured me it would be ready in 18 minutes. Yet, when I arrived, my order hadn t even been started. I watched in disbelief as the kitchen staff casually retrieved ingredients from the fridge, confirming my worst fears. While waiting longer than expected can sometimes be understandable, the staff s attitude was utterly unacceptable. After paying, I was rudely told to wait outside. It felt as though my presence was an inconvenience now that they had my money. This dismissive behavior was shocking and disrespectful. The situation only worsened when I went back inside to check on my order. The staff repeatedly forced me back outside without any explanation or updates. There was no way to check the status of my order from outside, and they didn t clarify if they would bring the food out to me. This lack of communication and transparency was infuriating. The unwelcoming and toxic atmosphere left me feeling humiliated and frustrated. If this is how they treat paying customers, I shudder to think how they treat food delivery personnel. My take out experience at Singapore Hawker was a complete disaster. The poor service, combined with the staff s hostile attitude, made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.
A waitress spilled curry all over me, ruining my $70 pants and $150 sweater. All they offered me was a $5 roti as compensation, which doesnt come close to covering the damage. They gave me a bowl of bleach but after researching, it would have ruined the colors on my sweater. Very disappointed and wont be returning.
A bit like a self serve restaurant, you pay upfront before you get your food. Great portion size for price. Food is pretty good too. Food : 4/5
Good food. Friendly staff. Very casual.
Friendly and low key, the food is super warming and flavourful. It has a simple straightforward atmosphere, but that works massively in its favour to make this place feel relaxing even when its bustling. Great food served really fast!
The nostalgic feeling when I took the first bite , Singapore was my home for 8 years and coming here today made me feel at home. The food I ordered at least , tasted the same, loved it, even cried because it brought back memories . Hinanese chicken rice, roti , Ari lembo . It s exactly just like a Singapore hawker place. Everything , even the noise , the busy, the ambiance I just wished there s kopi-o missed it
The Boneless Hainanese Chicken on Rice was okay. The chicken was cooked with too much sugar. It was definitely too sweet for my taste. The ginger sauce was good. The side order of soup was okay. Overall, it was not a good experience.
Arrived at 11:30 opening, all tables filled by 11:45 and people waiting for tables on a Sunday. Staff will assign you your table. Order food at the counter. They will bring you your food to the table, including utensils and water. Laksa was good. Garlic fried squid/octopus was okay, some tentacle piece were a bit over fried. Sauce was not typical sweet and sour, and was very tasty. Parking: Sign on alley parking says for deer garden and pearl hot pot customers only. Deer garden doesnt exist anymor, taken over by Singapore hawker Kid-friendliness: High chairs available
Large portions. Reasonable prices. Good CP.
Ordered a couple curries and side dishes for takeout, including a salad. The first thing Id note is that they gave us the wrong order. We called them when we got home and noticed and they asked us to come back to exchange orders. The curries (lean beef and fish) were as I expected. Flavourful and the portion was pretty big. However, the Nyonya Rendang Lembu beef was a lot tougher than I expected. I understand its a leaner cut of beef, but some pieces were very tough, like if I had false teeth, theyd come out tough. Some pieces were okay though. What was more of a concern was that I found a couple pieces of plastic in the Nyonya Rendang Lembu. The Nyona Assam Fish dish was good. I liked the flavours (spicy and sour, kind of like a tom yum soup) and the mix of veggies in there. I think that was my favourite dish. The sides were okay. The roti tasted good and the sauce was good. The Gado Gado salad was not what I expected but with the peanut sauce, it was okay. A bit bland. We also got the Char Kuey Teow, which was good. There was a good amount of fixings, the portion was good, and the flavours were good. A bit oily though. That was my second favourite dish. Overall, the food was good if you like heavier flavours (apart from the salad), and the value is good, but the service, especially the pieces of plastic in the curry, made the experience poor.
They keep raising their prices by double digits (percentage wise) quite regularly even though the inflation rate is less than 3%. A turn off for me. A. Lee, Burnaby
We came in for a super early dinner and was seated right away. There was space for our stroller and the service was so friendly and helpful. There were some menu items that were unavailable as they were preparing for a new menu launch. They were extra careful in accommodating our peanut allergy request and after our meal was offered complimentary dessert. Definitely will come back again as the food was excellent and most especially the service.
Delicious Singaporean food. Portion size for appetizers are quite small but great portion size for entrees. Char Kuey Teow and the Singaporean laksa are my go to !
Great portions of food and taste well. Really accommodating for customers with children
They dont mess around with the curries here. Got the Kari Ayam (Chicken) and Kari Lembu (Beef Brisket) and they were both amazing!
Best hainanese chicken I can find in Metro Van so far. The roti is still crispy even it cool down
Great addition to South Burnaby. The food was good, with decent sized portions, and some excellent, authentic flavours.
I waited half an hour for the food to be served. I gave it one point because it was only one point, and I tipped 10% because I paid first.
update: Ok so now Im not so sure. Food still tastes good. But feels like theyve started short changing. The takeout curry is already in a pretty small container, but normally they would fill the container a reasonable amount near the top. This time they cut back my order by a significant amount, almost a knuckle worth from the top of the container. And the fried rice that normally comes with 3 shrimp, now we only found 2 in the takeout order. Guess well find out if this is a trend next time I order from them.
Food mostly are hot and spicy, atmosphere is great and bright, very nice and friendly staffs, parking is limited. Price is reasonable. Recommend if you like spicy food.
Bad service. Place was empty. They sat me at a table and no one came to take and order despite me just sitting there for 15 minutes. I left without ordering. Even the authentic hawkers in Singapore come to your table and take your order They should at least put a sign up that says order at the counter
The fish ball taste like plastic , Laksa a little bid salty
I was going to take away a star because when I made the kui tiew vegetarian, basically there was nothing in my dish but plain noodles. I feel like whenever someone makes it vegetarian, there should be a choice of vegetables or tofu and just go from there. In my case, because I removed all the fish and meat, it was not replaced with anything and I just paid for a big dish of noodles. However, the service is really good, the server asked about the food and the experience and we were up front. I really liked the service and the atmosphere. The roti was a little bit on the sweet end and the laksa was A bit lacking in flavor but overall it was good. My husband is from Southeast Asia so maybe he is a bit more picky on the food. I would definitely still recommend because the food is pretty authentic!
In the hot summer, Hainanese chicken rice is light! It turns out that the kids menu version of Hainanese chicken rice is more worth the price. In addition to Hainanese chicken rice, there is also a poached egg and a sweet cookie with coconut and peanut flavors. Compared to a simple portion of Hainanese chicken, The portion of rice is not too small, plus a glass of iced Milo. The additional three skewers of salad and scones are also delicious. Oh my god, another meal that made me want to walk home!
The flat noodles is day old
The laksa here is delicious and serving size is huge; you definitely wont go hungry!
When you start opening the door, right away they ask you what you want???? Very disappointed with the food, ordered ROTI, GREEN BEANS SAMBAL AND BEEF SATAY they are not good @ all, price is expensive and the ROTI, just like eating a paper so bland, even you dip with the sauce, the Satay again bland, been to so many Malaysian restaurants but this place really disappointed me. Not going back again or recommended to any of my friends and family
Went here for lunch with wife. We ordered R5. Kari Lembu on White RiceKari Lembu on White Rice and F2. Mee Goreng. Service was quick and easy. We were seated right away. Menu, bowls and water were provided shortly after. We orderes via the qr code on the table and someone came for payment quickly as well. Clean location with good lighting, comfort place, what is expected from a fast food style restaurant. Food, Kari Lembu on White Rice is always our go to as it comes with many lean pieces of beef and 1 potato. Beef is always tender and flavourful, hard to go wrong. Wife said they likely put too much water in rice this time so it was a bit mushy and she also found hard bits in the rice, maybe it was towards the bottom. 4 stars due to rice today. F2. Mee Goreng, I ordered the beef one and also hot. It was freshly made. My wife had a bite and she found it to be too oily. I was going to finish it but as I ate, I saw this thick layer of oil at the bottom. I wondered if it is all like this so I went to the front and asked them if this is normal. I was told that it is normal, otherwise noddles would stick, and to order for less oil next time. They were nice and offered to remake it with less oil. I received a remade version without oil soaked noodles, still freshly made, noodles did not stick together. A few things to note though, the beef had no taste, likely it was boiled prior and put in the noodles, mix a bit, then serve. The shrimp, while not mushy, also had no shrimp taste, some restaurants leave shrimps in cold running water to prevent shrimps from getting mushy but that also gets rid of the taste. The sourness from the tomato in the noodles blended well with the dish. Overall, this fried noodles is about 3 stars. It is better to stick with rice dishes.
I ordered the laksa which contained 1 mussels and two shrimp. I finished eating and went back to Richmond. By the time I arrived Richmond, my stomach started to hurt. I managed to go home. I had the worst stomachache where I not only had diarrhea, but almost vomited and almost fainted. I would not recommend eating there as the food is not fresh. I knew it s from this place because my stomach has always been on the sensitive side and I will have stomachache right after if there s anything wrong with the meal. Second, I don t like how it doesn t accept cash if order through QR code when you can pay cash at the counter without any notice in advance. What if I don t have card?
Parking: Next to the restaurant building has several free parking spots for the customers also has free street parking. Food
Busy restaurant, called to checked in on our group reservation when we were running late. Food was great, beef was quite tender and soft. Staff was kind and considerate.
The curry brisket was as a bit heavy but flavour was great, I feel that the fat needed to be better trimmed down
I loved it very good food grate place frend ,Try it for yourself
June 14,2024. 3rd visit Well, everytime we come to.this restaurant there is something changed. This time.we dont order at.the counter, We have to scan the barcode at the table and then order online. Then the waiter bring all the utensils and water and left it on the table to.help yourself. And then they bring.the machine to make us paid including the tips before they serve the food. WHY do we have to pay before we eat, and why do we have to pay 12% /15% tips when there is hardly any service. They left all the tray on our tables, and worst of all there is no water refill when most dishes r spicy. There r so many waiters on the floor walking around but no service provided after the food was bring to table. If the food wasnt good I definitely will not come back to this restaurant. Either u want to be a fast food or a.full service and not a half & half restaurant. Dont expect full tips if u dont want to be a full service restaurant! 1st visit It was chaotic. We arrived at the restaurant right at it opened at 11:30 on a Sat. I found out it is a self serve restaurant. It should be simple, buy your food and then sit down and eat. But no. You buy your food, they bring you utensils and water. Then they call your number of your order, but they dont come all at once. We ordered 5 dishes. My son has to get up to the counter 4 times to pick up the dishes, and one time they brought it to us. We had like 5 trays on the table, if we dont bring back the tray to them there will be no place to put our food.By 12 pm , the restaurant was full It was so chaotic, the front counter kept on calling number like McDonalds and customers has to keep on going to the front counter to pickup the food. It was nosiy and customers were all over the restaurant. It was a very stressful experience, and we felt like we were working for the restaurant. The curry brisket and rice, has very little curry. The curry that came with the roti was quite sweet. One of the fried noodle was too spicy to our liking. The fried chicken wings was not bad. The best dish was the hoi Nam chicken rice. It is trying to operate as a fast food restaurant and is not.
Authentic Singaporean food
Amazing Laksa, curry and vegetables, thanks for a great dinner!
The portions were the most disappointing. This is Canada after all, not SG or MY, and while the taste was there for the most part, the portions do not justify the prices. I wouldnt order again.
We wanted to try everything at the restaurant. We loved the Singapore Laksa, Garlic Squid, Roti, Satays, Rendeng Beef and Hainanese Chicken. You go in and order at the counter and when you are done, you just leave.
best Nasi goreng in town old style is simply classic
We had 3 shared plates with a Singaporean friend. Very tasty, authentic. Helpful, friendly staff. Parking: General parking on side streets. Small parking lot at the restaurant.
Very family friendly! It is a very busy restaurant so make sure to give yourself enough time to go a bit earlier! There is Parking in the back for free but it is very tight and you should most definitely back in! You need to order your food at the counter and they will bring it to your table when it is ready. The flat noodle dish is highly recommended!! And for a drink I loved the milk tea here! I would for sure come back!
This is the newer branch for Singapore Hawker located in Burnaby. Same set up as before, you order from the front counter and they bring the food over. Beef brisket is consistently tasty and tender. My favourite is the sambal green beans. First time trying their deep fried wings appetizer, I found it too oily or oily taste. Definitely have tasted better elsewhere. Not sure if they fried the chicken wings in oil that wasn t hot enough yet. But I ll give it a try again hopefully, it s better next time. It came out to about $20-$30 a person. If you want to try different dishes, but lots to take home after.
Tried the chicken wings, roti, and Singapore laksa. Chicken wings were plump and juicy, and the roti was decent but I wish the dipping sauce for it was a bit thicker. The laksa had fresh and juicy squid legs, shrimp, fish balls and mussels, along with fried tofu and a boiled egg portion. It was good but I think it needed a bit of garnishing like cilantro or lime/lemon wedges to elevate it. For payment you go to the counter to pay first or scan the QR code at the table then theyll come to you for payment. The food was brought out quickly after ordering.
A bit pricey. Tastes good.
Roti pancakes are the most delicious, very crispy and fragrant. I didn t think of taking pictures until I was halfway through eating. Dry beef curry is not as delicious as beef brisket curry. The former is too dry and does not come with rice. The latter is fatter and does not need to be called white rice. Gado Gado Salad Its okay, the fried tofu is too dry and hard and doesnt have the texture of oiled tofu, which is a pity. Parking: You need to find a location. Usually the parking spaces next to it are full, and you need to find a location on the roadside a block away. Wheelchair accessibility: Somewhat difficult.
Laksa was great
Got the Currey beef brisket. Meat was too tough. Not enough sauce. When asked for more sauce, they refused. A little over priced for the food quality. Should be around 30% off their menu price, then it might match the quality and service.
Average food. The Hainanese Chicken definitely needs more work. Fried squid is quite tasty though.
I ordered from you guys multiple times. While the food tasted good I had digestive issues every single time. So wont be ordering from you again.M. Im south Asian. Curry should never be a problem to me. I didnt have problem with any other place.
Food is always awesome. Service - What I really wanted to highlight my experience on Mar 28 at 2pm ish. The drink delivered wasnt the one I expected, I mentioned that it could be me ordering too soft, anyhow, the staff said that he could get me another drink, I did not want it. He came back with the milk tea, and he apologized, Im sorry we got it wrong. The thing is he wasnt the one who took my order and would own it as it was his mistake. It was very impressive. With the recent high cost of food and services (everything!!) Often, we seek a more reasonable price on food and service. Then, we seem to expect zero customer service or manner. Seeing the young generation has such a polite and respectful manner in a chain restaurant is so encouraging. Extra tips are added and well-deserved on such exceptional service. Atmosphere - its clean and well-lit. I stayed only for 30 mins for my lunch. It met my expectations.
Food is great! Depending when you go, it can get very busy. Felt a little bit like they were rushing us since there was a line but we havent finished eating yet. However, the servers were friendly.
Ordered Singapore Laksa today. The soup flavor is OK. But the ingredients cannot make it. 2 small shrimp, half an egg is ok, but the fish cake and fish ball is bad. Will try other food next time.
Nice food and good services
Very expensive restaurant portion very small just enough for my daughter.
We love this place the food is delicious and the staff are very pleasant. I was there three times one week that shows how much I liked it. Parking: Parking can be difficult during busy times
Ordered Singapore laksa and char kuey reow from Uber Laksa soup is not thick enough. Two shrimps are not fresh. Three fish balls are good. And few pieces of tofus are ok. Char kuey reow does not have enough taste. Just taste like fired noodle. Only three shrimps and four pieces of fish cakes For this price expect more
Incredibly delicious food for a good price; comes out quick Parking: Parking is limited but very worth it Food : 5/5 |
We tried again as it was not really good experience the last time. We were very satisfied this time. Everything was good.
Cash only. Low quality high volume shop. The hainanese chicken was about as good as the worst hawker stands in Singapore.
delicious and good portion size for price
Had the food delivered and it was so delicious! Will definitely try again (and hope /to dine in next time)
