Modest but contemporary outpost with a classic Japanese menu of sushi, tempura, udon & rice bowls.
I visited this place for the first time. The food and service was great, no doubt in that; however, at the time of making the payment, the server named Jiyun (the name written on my receipt), asked me why I didn’t pay the tip and if I didn’t like the service or food. I replied with a polite smile and tone that I definitely liked the food and the service; however, I will tip next time. The server didn’t respond to what I answered and had that weird expression on her face as if she is mad at me for not paying the tip. I understand tipping to a service is a kind and expected gesture but it’s customary and not mandatory. I might would not visit this place again.
It's fine , it's just Japanese food , nothing exceptional nothing bad . Like if you're craving sushi then this place is very serviceable and will get the job done. Pretty good prices too for sushi nowadays Only thing that stood out was the takoyaki , the crispy ness on the outside was simply delightfully . I will come back if I'm craving Japanese food. Service is fine no complaints.
This is worst location and their in house policy says it has to be three or more here to be seated or else you cannot set down first and wait for your friends. They have more than enough for table of four. It is my first time ever hearing this rule. I’ve been to many places that are way busier than them, and they will help you find a table and let you set down and wait for your friends. Their excuse was “ they are very busy restaurant” . This is ridiculous!
Love the huge chunk of sashimi here. Very fresh with reasonable price!
Have been a patron of Sushi Garden since their opening, more than a decade ago. My entire family love dining here. Salmon sashimi is always super fresh and good quality for the price you pay, superb quantity as well. Love their sushi rice, firm yet fluffy, and properly packed. My favourites will forever be: California roll, beef teriyaki roll, dynamite roll, salmon sashimi and nigiri, takoyaki, prawn & sweet potato tempura, agedashi tofu. Went with my daughter for the first time and she hoovered everything! So sushi garden is definitely kid approved. I don’t know about other people’s experiences but my latest dine-in with them was wonderful — the servers were friendly, accommodating and always easy to hail down. Food came out fast, too. Check them out!
Delicious and great value! $15 really filled me up. The deep fried California roll was really enjoyable. The BC roll got a bit messy. I'd like to visit again.
Garden Sushi, conveniently located near Metrotown, is a fantastic spot for sashimi enthusiasts. The sashimi here is incredibly delicious, with each piece tasting fresh and full of flavor. Despite the high quality, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for what you get. One standout feature at Garden Sushi is their sushi rice. Unlike some places where the rice is packed too tightly, resulting in dense bricks, Garden Sushi gets it just right. The rice is perfectly fluffy, enhancing the overall texture and experience of both their nigiri and donburi dishes. The restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal or a quick bite after shopping. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. If you're in the Metrotown area and craving top-notch sashimi and sushi with expertly prepared rice, Garden Sushi is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended for both the quality of the food and the great prices.
Good food with affordable prices. We ordered sushi combo, kids menu, and pork katsu. I do love the fresh sashim! We paid the bill by cash. However, we had a bad experience from the cashier about the tipping issues.
ITS AMAZING I MEAN ITS SUSHI WHO DOESNT LIKE SUSHI?!
I would highly recommend this place! We were in Vancouver for a weekend from Minnesota, USA and holy crap this is the best sushi and sashimi Ive ever had. The slices of sashimi they give you are massive and soooo fresh. The atmosphere is nice - cozy, but never overly loud even when it was almost fully packed. The servers were attentive, but also respectful of privacy (Im way more used to USA extroverted servers checking in every few minutes. I liked the fact they left us to our own devices while keeping a close eye on if we needed anything). ALSO: It was inexpensive!! For the portion sizes and how fresh it was, we were all stunned by how little our bill was at the end of the night
Food is good but its gotten sooooo expensive. 20$ for 9 prices of salmon sashimi... Service is pretty meh. Food is as good as I remember.
Service was so fast and attentive. Lots of options and food tasted great! My favourites were the tuna gomae and tropical dynamite roll.
Food is just above average. Service was low -- if its empty server should be more proactive. Atmosphere is basic Food : 4/5
The taste and quality of what we ate today are completely different from before. Has the owner and chef changed?
I am astonished by the bad quality of the food. Everything is not as good as before. What happened? This is the Sushi Garden I visited before. Strongly not recommend
I ve been coming to Sushi Garden for years, but it s no longer a good restaurant. As soon as I entered, the waitress didn t even look at me and just casually told me to sit down. She took my order without any care, and when the food was served, it felt like she was throwing it on the table. Despite many reviews like this, they don t seem to make any effort to improve their service. Even after tipping, I didn t receive so much as a smile. I will never go back again
My husband s favorite Hope you could add more cooked food
Normal foods
We absolutely love this place. We are seafood and sushi enthusiasts, and we agree that this sushi is some of the best in Canada!
we love to go in this place, love the food. but today there s an incident were the girl (server) accidentally drop the spoon and I look on her when she drop it. and came to our table to serve the spoon and fork (in the first place we don t need spoon) so I ask my friend if that s the spoon she drop? server turned around and said I change the spoon thats not the one I drop (She could have said, oh no, no i changed the spoon. Or oh no its different spoon in a nicer way) in the first place i wasn t even talking to her. so I just didn t mind until she slammed the spoon on the container bin they have for the unclean stuffs that they put it around where the customers could see it. It is just poor service, I mean common I worked in customer service for a long time too but never ever gave that kind of attitude. She talked to her co-workers and everyone was just keep looking at us until we left. And she stop serving us instead the other guy serve us. Thats how you handle customers? I didn t even talk the server. It s very disappointing. All of the servers looking at us like we did something wrong even the person behind the counter.
They really pay attention to whether or not I give a lot of tips. This is my first time at a restaurant that asked me to cancel and repay with an additional tip if I didnt like the tip. I have no intention of returning.
Awesome service. Food is good, slightly expensive for their portion.
Service is good, food is fresh and dishes are innovative. Good place for catch up with friends
Horrible service. The Korea people that work here don t want to speak up in a busy environment, my friends and I couldn t hear anything the staff was saying. They don t take their job seriously, are not nice, and don t deserve any tips. Don t go here unless you want an unpleasant experience with unsatisfyingly overpriced foods with small portions. Especially the chicken karaage, $9 for 5 small chicken wings, extremely disappointing.
Food is average but the worst service I have ever had in Vancouver. Well I never expect service from Sushi Garden, like most of the people there I just want to get some food and leave. The servers are very unhelpful and saying they must follow the rule so they need our friend to sit on a separate table when the restaurant is only 60% full just because my friend was late LOL. There was a Korean female server were putting her attitude all on her face every time she got annoyed by customers (not only to us, to other customers too ) I don t know how come they still expect us to pay tips. NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. ASKING MY FRIEND NOT TO GO AS WELL.
Terrible service, waited over 30 minutes to be seated in a half empty restaurant around 8pm today while all the employees stood around doing nothing. Incompetent workers terrible customer service. Save yourself some time and do not come to this location. They initially took our names down; however, the same worker who forgot to seat us laughed after realizing that they forgot to seat us for 30 minutes. Please retrain your employees on professionalism in the workplace and basic customer service.
Thanks for keeping the quality high and the same menu throughout the years. My favorite sushi place to go.
Food is good and it was fast.
Sashimi is all very large and fresh!
Ordered sashimi, food was fresh and the price was unbelievably good.
Sushi Garden is a great place to eat at if you are looking for good sushi at an affordable price!
Worst experience to dine out at this restaurant, the lady I think who is manager there ( with eye glasses and masks ) was very rude and mean to us when we ask for more chair for one more person.
Very bad service, the way that your service treats so unprofessional and disrespectful. I will never come back here.
The quality and service are great
Every time I order, I get really good sushi, but sometimes I get the wrong order if I order out. Terrible service people are very, very rude. They demand a tip.
The price is affordable and the ingredients are very fresh. Party tray and combo are more cost-effective.
Not the friendliest staff but the food is good
Not again. I ll be honest, your food is good. It really is. But i dont understand how everytime i step inside of your store you give me this disgraceful attitude. Im not asking your waiters to treat me like a king, i want to be treated as a normal person. Today i payed you guys a visit because i was really craving sushi, and you guys know how to make sushi. As soon as i stepped inside and showed intrest to be sat down for 2 people i was seated. GREAT! But not 10 seconds later after i sat down a big mad waiter lady with a disgusting attitude came up to me telling me i was supposed to go to the front and leave my name and told me i wasnt supposed to sit down. Your customer service is lowkey worse than mcdonalds but food is good. See you soon and get ur attitude togeather.
I ordered takeout. The waiting time was very fast and the Sashimi was very big.
Looks good but the flavor is the bad quality
Bad Ubereats experience. Selected no wasabi/ginger for ALL of the rolls/nigiris and they put wasabi in it. Also did not provide chopsticks.
We orderd more than 5 rolls. They were too loose! We couldnt pick them up and everything kept falling apart.
sashimi is quite thick and big, special role also very good
Customer service is terrible. The staff who wearing the glasses is so rude.
Nice place with friendly and fast service
The portions are so good compared to other places. This has always been my go-to place for almost a decade. Although you can improve by adding images to the menu. For regular customers, it s fine; we know what we want. But whenever I take someone new here, they just don t know what to order.
Friendly greeting to choose a table. My server was soft spoken and lacked personality. Staff would crash tables together to make a larger table. Eat and get out type of vibe. I also had to ask for more tea. Service was prompt however. I ordered wild salmon maki, negitoro roll and a BC roll. It was very average tasting, the bc roll was mostly crab, not much salmon skin. I had the exact same meal at Sushi Toki as a take away, it cost less and it was far more superior in quality. It was very delicious and memorable.
Delicious sushi. I like that they have complimentary drink as well. Could park in front of the store.
Very affordable and great food. Friendly staff as well.
The food is really delicious, fresh and everything is good. However, one employees response was truly the most unpleasant Ive ever felt in my entire life. It was my first time visiting and I dont think Ill ever go again. My wife and I asked the server, a woman wearing glasses and a mask, in English if she could bring us spoons, but she just looked at us and didnt answer and went to another table. I thought I hadnt heard what my wife said, so I asked the server again when he came back, and he brought a spoon and threw it on the table, raised his eyebrows and said, Okay? and left. He didnt say anything at all. For a moment, we thought we had done something very wrong to that employee. Why on earth do we have to pay for a meal on a Friday night and get treated like this? I slowly looked down the reviews here and there were quite a few complaints about the employee, but even after a year since those reviews, the employees attitude remains the same and there doesnt seem to be any improvement. Can I just think of reviews as being neglected? The food was really delicious, but I dont think Ill be visiting again because of the staffs response. It feels like I finally found a good sushi restaurant and it closed right away. It would be good for the boss to think carefully about how he treats his employees. May you prosper. I cant believe how rude the server here is. Theres a lady who wore glasses and a black mask on. She didnt respond at all when we asked her utensils, and very soon after, she literally threw the utensils on the table. Me and my wife were shocked at her attitude. It was very on purpose throwing, and she didnt even apologize. If it was a mistake, its totally fine. But she was thrown it and just gone away. I dont understand why we need to be treated like this way on the Friday dinner. We asked her politely and treated as if we did something wrong on her. This is a totally disrespectful and unpleasant experience. BTW, Their sushi was very nice, but I will not goona visit here again because of her.
The food was plentiful and delicious. However, the staff were unfriendly. Was it inevitable because there were so many customers and it was so busy? I wish you were a little kinder.
Some cashier lady made me feel humiliated when she pointed out in front of others that I didnt tip, was there anything wrong with the food. I understand where the question is coming from, but honestly, this is not an appropriate thing to say out loud to a customer. Its the economy and inflation, thats why. The whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth, wont be coming back.
No understanding of why this place is so busy. Decent prices, rolls were huge, but fell apart, pieces were unevenly cut, ok flavour. No good reason to eat here.
Small place but good atmosphere... Good food and fast service. My kimchi udon is very good and gave me good Large servings.
My order was ready earlier than the time they had said so I did not have to wait at all and the server greeted me kindly and with enthusiasm. I will definitely return.
Poor service! Those Korean girls are not nice at all! OMG !never go there again!
Good sushi for delivery! Been ordering here for years!
I have always heard great things about Sushi Gardens fresh fish, and recently I had the opportunity to try it. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and easily digestible their food was. I ordered a variety of dishes including the Alaska roll sushi, sashimi, miso soup, edamame, and nigiri sushi. I know, its quite a lot, but I highly recommend trying all of them when you visit. However, one aspect that I wasnt pleased with was the service provided by the staff. It seems like they may not have been well trained, as I had to repeat myself several times to get what I needed. They tend to forget easily. Despite this, considering the level of freshness and taste, the slightly higher prices are acceptable.
Love the Alaska roll. Solid sushi overall.
Pretty nice sushi place. There were only two things that could be considered to improve - when we entered the place the floor was so slippery that we felt like we were on ice rink (I guess it only happens when it s wet outside and you come in with wet shoes) - serving a hot tea from a plastic jar is not a good idea I guess
Best alaska roll
Probably......actually no THE BEST sushi place in all of Burnaby! Everything comes out like lightning and like art. Its the only place I eat sushi in Burnaby. A must go!
Had lunch here twice now. Food is pretty average. There s better spots in Vancouver for sushi.
Ate here twice. Good prices. Quick service. Fresh fish. Definitely will eat here again when in the area.
My boyfriend ordered the food and I went to pick it up tonight. When I went in and told the waiter Im here for pickup, the waiter was asking me in a demanding tone why didnt you pick up the phone?. I told him I was driving, and I had no idea why he was questioning me like that so rudely. Later I found out that they were closing but still, I arrived 3 MINUTES after they called and he still showed me such a bad attitude. And they shouldnt have closed the cashier till when theyre expecting someone to pick up order. Im not going back there again after such an unpleasant and unwelcomed experience. The food was also not as great as before - sushi rice was tasteless.
Good sushi
They served chicken wings (not even drumsticks) instead of chicken karage. When we asked the waitress she said that thats what they serve as chicken karage in ALL locations which is not true because my sons favourite food was having chicken karage and rice from the other location that is located in Kingsway... And when we asked if she could do something about it she refused and didnt give any solution. First and last time I visited that location
The food isnt that great. The udon noodles were bland, and the octopus in the takoyaki was small. The raw fish was like the raw fish you buy at the supermarket. So I skipped the tip, but since he knew I was Korean, he asked why I didnt press the tip? Hahaha, yes, it seems like a lot of people are asking that question. At the end, he left the receipt aside and didnt even say hello. This is the first restaurant where Ive been told that I didnt tip. Dont disgrace Koreans by doing business like that.
Please cut the glasses-wearing employee; If you have a part-time job, quit right away, and if you are the boss, come to your senses. There are too many reviews criticizing this person, but there is no improvement at all. Wherever you go, don t use Korean. It s embarrassing.
I dont usually leave bad reviews, but the sushi was bad and now I dont feel very well. The staff werent very friendly either. There are so many other great places in the area. Im disappointed that this one wasnt up to the standard.
Most of the owners and staff are Korean, so you can comfortably order in Korean and the food is delicious.
Fresh sashimi and big rolls. We go here all the time and the quality is great for the price. Their salmon sashimi is always very fresh and very thick! Wouldnt consider this place as a traditional sushi place but great for value.
Sushi and Sashimi are always fresh. Service is average, very busy sushi place.
Always love getting sushi here. They give huge portions of fish!
Normal cheap sushi. Tempera was good
The salmon didnt feel right, and the other rolls were mediocre . The service was okay, but if you like sushi, you should go somewhere else.
If youre a salmon lover and looking for affordable eats, this sushi restaurant fits the bill. In the Metro Vancouver Area, there are numerous B-grade gourmet sushi spots, making it hard to choose. Personally, I love cheaper, orange-colored salmon over the pricier sockeye salmon. When Im craving salmon, this kind of restaurant is where I usually go or take out sashimi and do temaki-sushi at home. Its not fancy restaurant, but its decent and reasonably priced.
Great attentive servers with really good food. Group of four spent about $80 and we were all content with the portions.
Good food at an affordable price right behind Metrotown, burnaby. I ordered a roll platter and it came with California rolls, salmon roll three pieces, tuna roll three pieces, kappa roll three pieces. It was amazing and so cheap. Service was great and staff were very courteous.
My go-to spot for sushi every time I m in Vancouver. Get the salmon sashimi, you won t be disappointed. Highly recommend this place
Foods are good and fast service coz not too crowded that day. What I dont like is when you give only a tittle tip and the cashier s look of disappointment. I felt like I was obligated to give more tip. Aren t you guys should be grateful that you got tipped of what you r doing even mostly chitchatting when not busy? We, people who worked in a crazy busy healthcare setting should really deserve a tip too. I could have tip you with nothing. Should be grateful that you have customers and that you have a job
Foods are fine. Waitress who wears glasses just wants tips even though her attitude is upset during serving. Also, she is so rude requesting your tips. Before you give her reason why no tips, she will not let you leave the restaurant. I think she hates her job..
We ordered spicy salmon don, negi hamachi maki, negi toro maki, shrimp and yam tempura as well as udon. We enjoyed fresh thick cut salmon. Tempura was pretty freah, too. They used sweet potatoes not yam. It was nice. The texture of rice was a bit too mushy for my liking though. Udon broth and tempura sauce were a touch too sweet for me. Overall, I found their Korean dishes like spicy salmon don with gochujang sauce were tastier than traditional Japanese thin rolls like negi toro maki.
Food was nice enough, nothing special but it brings the comfort. I specially loved the Kabocha Croquettes , they were super crispy and the sweetness of the kabocha was just delicious, definitely ate and left no crumbs. Decent price, I think it has the nicest price compared to other Japanese spots around Metrotown area. Service was fair, the server was not that friendly but they did their job. Atmosphere was just great. In general, it is a good choice for your sushi cravings around Metrotown.
Food was awesome.
Cheap but still very delicious.
Big portions, tasty rolls.
Poor customer service. I asked for cold water but got hot water and was told to wait until it cool down. Bad attitude but ask for good tips.
Nice lunch spot, food was good overall. Tamago nigiri: was not ideal. Avo roll was great, very good service as well
Would come again. Sashimi was the thickest Ive ever seen.
Nice place and amazing sushi! The only thing I dislike about their takeout service is that there is no way to avoid 50 cents extra charge for the paper bag. They won t give you your order just in container, it must be bagged. Other than that nice and quick service overall. Recommended dishes
2.5 stars used to be great but now good once in a few months i no longer order any rolls b/c the rice is weird and sticky quality has gone down hill a TON also of course price has gone up but its gone up everywhere i do think the chicken wings are good the tempura udon is good salmon sashimi cuts are still generous
Value for money Very large pieces of sushi Taste satisfactory but nothing sophisticated Our waiter actively filled tea for the table Food : 4/5 |
Was really craving sushi and sashimi on a hot summer day, so decided to hit Sushi Garden out of convenience. The food is alright. We ordered a 2-people combo to share and we re comfortably full. I wouldn t say there s much of an ambience to the restaurant. It was more of a man eatery but at least the place is relatively clean. Went around 4 pm and had plenty of seatings.
Not great! Wouldn t come back
Great place to eat japanese food
Amazing food, extremelyyyy short wait time, impeccable service, good prices!! Favourite sushi place for sure :)
The service was terrible they thrown our napkins and plate to the table and our food with a bad attitude. The atmosphere was super bad they are all looking at people like they are gonna steal the plates or something. The cashier was the worst, I didn t give tip bc of the obvious reason and she started interrogating me and being super rude about why I didn t tip, and even insult us. Terrible service please don t go to that place.
Super fast
The servers there are extremely rude, Hung up the phone before I was finished. Had to repeat myself multiple times yet when I asked for her to repeat herself once she sighed and seemed very annoyed. Not satisfied with the service nor their attitude.
Staff are on point with orders; very efficient
Waitress treat people differently based on race. The waitress were rude to Asian people, althogh she looks like from Asian. What a shame!
The server and the manager at Metrotown location treated us very poorly and we always spend more than 100 dollars.
This spot is pretty much your average sushi spot. They have everything you would expect to find at a typical sushi restaurant. Rolls, tempura, dons, teriyaki, sashimi. Their prices have gone up over the years and are getting a little bit on the higher end. There are better places you can go to if you pay a little bit more but this place is good for a quick dine in experience.
Definitely a quantity over quality. Its alright though if youre just looking for a meal and happen to be nearby. Service is quick and simple to the point.
Its a good sushi in the metro town.
The food is always great. Our service was professional and polite the food we ordered came very timely and was well presented. We ordered sashimi, several rolls, tofu and chicken. The tables are cleaned and well laid out. One issue is parking the lot is small and parking around the area is restrictive. But worth the wait for parking Parking: It s the only draw back
The service was bad from beginning, and the sushi test very bad. In general this is not Japanese restaurant. I don t recommend this place.
The foods excellent and very tasty! We could not recommend this place enough!
Good for its price
The quality of the fish alone is worth the visit here. Highly reccomend the Love Boat if on a date
Waitress was cool but i believe the manager (old hag). Pressured me and my friend for tips. Quite aggressively. And when my friend tipped 30% instead of saying thank you said thats it ? I gave two cents and peaced out. Lmao. none of us are coming to this place again.
Need to provide parking from 3-6pm. Itll help if the staff know that the back lane is closed -.-
The servers were moderately unfriendly but quick to help and I ll definitely be back for the food. One of the best restaurants I ve been to in a while. I recommend the awesome roll & masago cone.
Sushi is ok and rice is fresh, and service was ok. Only one I don t like is sashimi.
I have been here many times and I like the sushi here. My kids like the miso soup and udon noodles more.
Its fine. Nothing special, but certainly not bad!
BC Sushi > Ontario sushi
yum yum yummy
Absolutely love this place, the food, price, atmosphere, and service are all perfect. Best seafood salad, croquettes, and Alaska rolls.
Big portion, good food. Family friendly and the servers are all nice. Food comes out fairly quickly. Would recommend trying out for casual outing!
Delicious!
Awesome sushi
They dont give you any soy sauce or utensils for uber orders
Price rise a lot in a year, sashimi is ok but not super fresh, the good part is portion is larger than ordinary sushi restaurant
Food wasn t bad at all. But price has increased a lot in a short period of time. I understand inflation, but the price increases were too high and frequent! Also, staff looked miserable and order from them feels like you owe them money. I live in the area and I avoid, and advise you to do the same.
Not bad but PLEASE FIX THE DOOR IT SLAMS SO LOUD
The rice old and hard and the tuna and salmon tasted like the refrigerator I think they dont clean the refrigerator thats why the tuna and the salmon tasted like it was in an unclean refrigerator I dont think so I would be going back here again
Good price for the value. I have better Sushi elsewhere. Service is bad. 7 of us went in the waiter only gave us 3 tables which were good for 6 people and asked one of us to sit at the end where theres hardly any space to put the plate. I have to beg him to add another 2 seated table. Also make sure everyone is present otherwise they wont sit you.
Experience was great ! Lots of food selection & service will truly amaze everyone. Must try across metrotown only.
Pretty good food ordered through the website. It would be awesome if ordering online/take out can be switched to dine in with tips.
Terrific
Ive liked sushi garden for years. This is a smaller place compared to the new one they opened in Kingsway. They have a great selection of food. Its typically busy in here. So you do have to wait for a table. Dont sit by the window its freezing. I like the Rolls they have and the spicy salmon sashimi.
One of my favorite places
Yummm .
Have been order for 6 year with this place and ordered a end of day pick up. Rude guy at the end trying to pick up food for take out and was lectured to be too late for an order pick up. Unfriendly and uncomfortable. No customer service from this person whatsoever.
Good quality good price
When I entered the store, the attitude towards customers was not very good. The male server taking orders was very unfriendly, and even when he was serving food, he left things behind. If its a restaurant that provides service, please excuse me, shouldnt they at least tell me the name of the menu? The tempura batter seemed too thin and the shrimp tempura was also small. The fried shrimp and shrimp in the roll were delicious. The female server wearing glasses kept looking at the poster as if she was on her cell phone, but she didnt take care of the customers at all. tip? You will need to learn the concept of tips. I think restaurant managers and managers should provide server training.
Very busy place, food was very fresh
the korean girl with glasses at the cashier is terrible. when i told her i have ordered takeout she just kept repeating phone number phone number phone number, and after I paid she said your food is over there, bye. Lol first time seen this kind of ppl in a restaurant. Food
The food was good. But the korean girl with glasses at the cashier has poor manners with attitude all the time. Shes very rude and feels like we owe her tons of money and tip. She throws the menu, plates and towels with no smiles, zero service. I rather prefer she dont bring us the menu. But other staffs were friendly.
Came here for lunch just before noon on a weekday. Didnt have to wait for a table. Service was fast and friendly. Got the salmon Don. It was fresh and portions were good. Also got chopped scallop cone which I couldnt finish as I was too full.
Our normal dinner spot after our yearly hot springs trip, always fast and decently priced.
I ordered some rolls for take out and they gave only three chopsticks, and no ZERO soy sauce. WTH!!!
Was great fresh food, noodles were seasoned just right
Came for lunch one day. The food and selection was okay. But the cashier lady was quite rude. My please, thank-yous, and smiles were not reciprocated. When she was laying down utensils onto the table next to us, she threw the chopsticks down! I was quite scared of her to be honest. Would not go back again.
Awesome food and service.
I disappointed to this place. On my anniversary Dec 2. 2023. I order 5 maki sushi( 2 Alaska rolls; 2 crazy rolls and 1 dy-ska roll) IN PICTURES of menu online has 8 PIECES of each order BUT when I PICK UP from restaurants has 6 PIECES. I lost 12 pieces in total 5 orders. I heard this issue from my friend but I dont believe how big business as SUSHI GARDEN stealed food from customers. Therefore, I stilled order to prove that what my friend said not right. Sadly Its true. SUSHI GARDEN STEAL FOOD FROM CUSTOMERS. Customers should keeps your eyes on the STEALER
Sashimi and sushi combo was good. Customer service from the waitresses not so much - no smiles, no signs of appreciation. And normally when we pay and leave other restaurants, we at least get acknowledged or thanked. It did not happen here, not even 1 staff member. And they werent even busy.
Fresh and well-made Sushie, good proportions at a fair price. My favourite place.
Another place for Junk Food sushi!! If you have been following and reading through my sushi list, you would understand what I mean by Junk Food sushi! This is a great place, since it is always packed out the door, and on top of that, the place have great food for a good price too. But the only thing that have brought me to a dismay about this place is the service. However much I love the food here, I avoid this place because the service sucks. I mean I understand the place is extremely busy, and on top of that it is small and crowded but the amount of disrespect to customers is just UGH..... Anyways, come here for the food, screw the service, and eat and quickly leave.
Very poor customer service and cheap management the wanted to charge Me 1 dollar for a chopstick that cost 10 cents. Wow!! looks like the restaurant is ready in need that they doing this. Cheap Asians
