Snug storefront turning out traditional curries, noodles & other Thai dishes for lunch & dinner.
Guys I love this place ok it’s so authentic you don’t need to go all the way to Thailand to taste such good food. I also enjoyed the sound of birds in the restaurant
Lunch special is good deal. Food are yummy. If you are looking for sticky rice mango, must go in summer time. I was told it is a seasonal dish.
My spouse and I are regular customers of Chad Thai. Every time we go, it feels like coming home to a tasty meal. **Food**: The food here is always amazing. Throughout the years, we've figured out our top picks, and the quality is top-notch every single time. **Service**: The staff knows us so well as regulars. They always greet me by name and are super friendly and attentive. I never have to wait long for my food, which is awesome. **Value**: Amazing value for the quality. The servings are huge, and the prices at this place haven't gone up much in the past few years, unlike other restaurants. We are going to continue coming back.
Came here as I was told this place was a highly reviewed Thai place. We ordered a pad Thai (no pictures because I was too hungry!!), a khao gra pao with pork, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The pad Thai was pretty good but I wish it came with peanuts for that nice added crunch. The khao gra pao is just okay, I haven’t found anywhere in Vancouver that can make it as good as Pai in Toronto. The mango sticky rice was decent but a touch pricy at $13. However, they give you 2 half mangos vs one and the mango was very fresh so it is decent quality for the price. Overall enjoyed it here but I’m still looking for my go-to Thai food place!!
I used to live in Thai for 4 years (and can cook Thai food), and this is the best Thai restaurant I've ever had in Canada. The owner is also very sweet and thoughtful.
A relatively small and hidden spot with unbelievable delicious food! Love their Thai iced tea, mango sticky rice and pad ga prow!!! However, we weren’t that satisfied with the Tom yum Kong regarding to its portion and price. The taste of their pad thai can be a little bit plain (had better ones else where). Overall, I would say that we will definitely come back sometime!
Chad Thai offers a culinary journey with its flavorful dishes that tantalize the taste buds. The menu boasts a variety of authentic Thai flavors that are sure to please any enthusiast of Southeast Asian cuisine. The red curry is a standout, striking the perfect balance between sweet and savory, while the green curry has a delightful aromatic depth that is both comforting and exotic. However, the dining experience is somewhat marred by the ambiance and service. The establishment has a certain charm but feels a bit outdated and could benefit from a refresh. Service can be hit-or-miss, with some days feeling welcoming and efficient, while others leave you checking your watch and wondering if you've been forgotten. In summary, if you're seeking delicious Thai food and can overlook the less-than-stellar service and setting, Chad Thai is worth a visit. Just set your expectations accordingly and come for the food, which is undoubtedly the star of the show. ---
Food: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Service: 1/5 not present, difficult to get Wait time: 1/5. Maybe the Restaurant needs to decline or turn off delivery orders if the restaurant is busy. Arrived 6pm. Ordered at 6:10. Got our starters at 6:30pm. Finally got our entrees one by one from 7:15pm to 7:40pm. There is no way it takes 1 hr+ to serve us some fried rice or curry. We ordered at 6:10pm and the final dish (fried rice) showed up 90 minutes later. By the time the last entree showed up, the first entree-person was already finished eating. The waiter/waitress did not come by to apologize or anything while we were waiting. This was on a Saturday night.
Food was worse than before
Worst restaurant ever, worst service, extremely late order.
This is by far the best Thai food you can find! I drive from North Vancouver regularly to eat here! Lovely staff and consistently good food!
Chad Thai is an amazing spot for authentic Thai food! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend for anyone craving great Thai cuisine!
Loved the Tom Yum soup here. One of the best I ever had. Definitely going to revisit here and do a proper review with photos later!
This place is absolute fire. Owner is super nice and accommodating. Food is amazing. Coconut ice cream highly recommended.
We got taste of its kind in its dishes
Great food!
I just had the laab, coconut rice, and an iced tea, and it was the most delicious meal Ive eaten in a long time. Ill definitely be back. They were happy to add more cream to my friends iced tea when asked. I also like how they give you a fork and spoon for cutlery, which is actually what they use in Thailand. My source of this information is a Thai chef with a popular YouTube channel who grew up in Thailand. (Spoon in right/dominant hand. Use the fork to push food onto the spoon, and then eat from the spoon. Makes sense to use a spoon to get the most of the delicious sauce!) My only complaint is that rice is not included with dishes that are always served with rice, and the portions of rice that you order separately are quite expensive.
Very yummy food and kind people working there :) Definitely recommend!
Delicious Thai food!!
Decent service and very good food
Delicious every time. Chicken cashew is out of this world. Staff are lovely.
Yummy food and friendly staff!! Makes me miss Thailand
Chad Thai is some of the best Thai food I ve ever had. The restaurant itself is kinda small and dingy but getting food to go is awesome.
Amazing Thai food. The spring rolls were insanely good!
Very kind servers. The food was interesting, I opted for Lad na. The first time, I enjoyed the gravy, but the noodles were very different. Food : 3/5
Delayed on preparing the food
We got the prawn pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and spring roll appetizer. All 3 dishes were delicious !
Ok
Picked up from here as we were on our way back to the interior. Its a long drive and I was feeling down. They were so friendly and kind! It really picked up my day. And then the food was delicious! This place is a gem :)
Its 1000 times worth it!!!
The atmosphere doesnt have to be anything ultra fancy, the food makes up for it. Great food! Nice people!
Food is absolutely delicious! Best Thai food in Vancouver. Tried multiple dishes here over the last few years and all have been very good.
Rating is 4.7. Authentic Thai taste. Small restaurant and wish it can expand business with more tables, so more people can enjoy Thai taste.
lovely owner
Absolutely fantastic food! The staff were so kind and patient with us, even though we didnt realize we had just slipped in after closing Amazing green curry and peanut sauce.
Solid spot for Thai food in Burnaby! We got a soup, a small rice and the Pad Thai to share. Food was tasty and service was prompt. Mango sticky rice was nice but a little pricey for the portion.
Too expensive for whats its worth. Keeping up the pricing with everyone else. 88 bucks for 2 entrés and 2 rice.. Geez
The food tastes okay , but the packaging is poor. I ordered curry and soup, and when I got home, it was spilled everywhere.
Vegetarian options: Tofu pad Thai was delicious and flavourful. Many similar options like this are available. Food
They make a delicious Pad Thai.
Good food, good service; exactly what you want with a neighborhood restaurant. Thanks!
A small thai joint that has great food. Parking is always readily available near the restaurant, whether on the main road or in the surrounding neighbourhood. Had the chicken massaman curry here and it was good but a little runny for a curry. This restaurant was a favorite of my friends and im glad I tried it out. Very welcoming staff work here. This will be one of my go to thai spots around here. Authentic thai cuisine. Kid-friendliness: The staff welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. Very friendly.
Not the best, but good for the price.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Burnaby. Delicious and authentic food, highly recommended!
It was okay.
This is the go to for affordable, delicious Thai food! The decor isnt charming butbI hardly ever look at it because my eyes are shut in delight at the fantastic flavours. Dietary restrictions: GF and Dairy-free are easily accomadated (much of the menu is standard GF/DF).
Chad Thai is consistently good and an asset to the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood
Took out their Bite of Burnaby $18 feature menu! Really incredible price for the food and a drink! For the appetizers, the spring roll was the better option than the crispy wontons (it was just fried wonton wrapper/skin). The spring roll was more substantive with ingredients and a crispy shell. Our group had the Pad Thai and Mussamun Curry. The menu stated to pick chicken or tofu for the Pad Thai, but it appeared to come with chicken and tofu, with pieces of both protein throughout. Were used to eating Pad Thai where the pieces of other ingredients (like egg) are larger and more distinguishable. They were more shredded and lost within the noodles here. Still very tasty though! The Mussamun Curry had a good depth of flavour, sweet and a little salty. I chose to have it with pork, which included a good number of fatty pieces, pineapple, potatoes, and peanuts. They accommodated dietary restrictions, and were able to make the Thai Ice Tea with only coconut milk. We also had the Thai Ice Coffee. Both were refreshing! The spice levels were true to the ones we gave in our order. Ordering can be quick and easy as they have a phone number diners can text. I like this option, as it means theres a paper trail for food preferences and dietary notes. The take out boxes were also well-labeled by the staff. Will return!
Based on reviews we tried this place last Saturday. 2pm and the restaurant was packed - a very good sign. Décor-wise there is nothing going on here - so the food had to be good, right?. It wasnt. It was okay - like meh okay. Not bad, not great - just okay. Im happy that we tried - just not going back
Great food that is super easy to order for take out. They offer text ordering and are quick and friendly. Always have been greeted with a pleasant attitude and makes me feel like they value my business and so I keep going back for those reasons. I recommend this restaurant to family and friends and hope you enjoy it too!
This is a GEM!!!! SO TASTY
Made a takeout order and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. When we arrived we stood in line an additional 10 minutes only to be told the food was not ready and would be ANOTHER 40 minutes to prepare. Not the proper way to run a restaurant. The least they could do is call if the food wouldn t be ready on time.
*WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SUPER LONG WAIT TIME - Waited 40 mins waiting in the store for takeout for 1 pad thai + Tom Yum noodles. Could have told me the wait time before i pay CONTAINER BROKEN - The container for the Tom Yum soup was broken and it spilled all over my car seat P.S 1. The staff did actually give me a Sprite for compensation but it doesnt help 2. Food was actually not bad However would never order from here again, but to me Experience > Food quality
Small store and good food
Ordered food ahead of time. They accepted the order, went to pick it up. They said order it needs more time, waited 36 min, then they said it still needs another 20, then 10 minutes later said they wont do the order. Left with nothing. Absolutely annoyed with this place. Never order from here. Put the picture of an empty plate to be dramatic, but sums it up. Left with nothing but waisting an hour of my time.
This is our favorite Thai place, my girlfriend and I order from here once a month and it is consistently great every single time, the staff took my name, number, and info and added it into the restaurant cell phone so we can just text our order anytime we want. Great food, great staff, great service!
Food is so good. 0 wait time to get seated on a Friday night
Best Thai restaurant Ive been to. Tasty food, decent sized portions, great service. Will definitely be back. Must try- Papaya Salad, Mango Salad, Yellow curry, Pad Thai, Chuchi pla and the Thai iced tea. Their Chilli Jam fried rice is really tasty as well.
Very impressed with the authentic quality of this Thai restaurant! Staff were very friendly as well.
First time coming here. My friend and his wife loves coming here so decided to have their red curry with rice for lunch. Taste was spot on, but could be a little bigger of a portion. Overall the food and service was very good for the price.
Probably the worst pad thai Ive ever had, no Veges, no flavour, no tamarind, no peanuts. Green curry was average, although not great (very very sweet). Service took over an hour for 2 takeout dishes, hoping that was an anomaly though.
The restaurant doesn t look much from the appearance but the staff is super friendly and very accommodating to meet needs of the customers. The food tasted delicious and make sure to try their Thai iced tea!!! I would definitely come back to try their other dishes and for the service!
Excellent! Dietary restrictions: Made my meal without fish sauce
The owner is always so welcoming and great service! The food is so delicious as well!!
Laap, the drunken fish and the red curry were the best of what we got. Everything else was good as well, no complaints.
I used to love eating Thai food in Canada until I went to Thailand. Nothing could compare to the spices and flavour of the local Thai cuisine, that is until I ate at Chad Thai. The tom yum gai, Penang beef curry, coconut rice, and Thai ice tea were delicious! Every bite brought me back to Thailand. The employees are all very sweet as well. Its a small restaurant with lots of heart and exceptional food. Thats why people travel from all over the province to eat here. I highly recommend!
Easily the best Pad Thai Ive ever consumed. I want to try more of the menu, but every time I order the delicious Pad Thai takes over. Definitely one of the better Thai places you can go to in Burnaby, and worth many repeat trips.
Great food, great staff. Love the homemade food
Delicious authentic Thai food. Having lived in south East Asia it s hard to find good Thai in Canada, and Chad Thai is my local favourite. Their pad Thai is a must have. Reasonable prices, quick service for dine in or takeaway
Really enjoyed the meal, very friendly staff, great food with a good spice level. Would recommend!
We had Red, Yellow and Mussamun Curries, Wonderful flavors! The Som Tum salad was spicy and amazing. The Pad Egg Plant was delicious. Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed and complimented the preparation and flavors. Wow!
Food was great, price was excellent, but we waited a long time to order, and server forgot about us.. Brought food out 10 min apart...My friend and I had to wait fo the second dish while the first sat there getting cold. Why not deliver both at same time ?
Ordered two servings of the pad thai to go. We asked them at least 3 times to make sure there would be no peanuts in the dishes. When we picked up the dishes, we asked them to confirm there were no peanuts in the dishes. There were peanuts in both dishes. Two cases of anaphylactic shock as a result - fortunately was not life threatening. How hard was it to write down no peanuts?
Awesome Thai food. Enjoyed my Chicken Pad Thai very much.
Authentic delicious Thai cuisine equiped with friendly staffs, portion getting smaller
Fantastic, authentic food with a cozy atmosphere.
These guys take way too long to prepare food.
Chad Thai is a Burnaby Heights staple. The staff are friendly and the food is always amazing!
My go-to place for thai food when im in the area. They have a great selection and fast service. Love their green curry and thai iced tea!
5 star food 5 Star service
Great food and service! Lots of vegetarian options as well.
Chad Thai is amazing. Delicious curries for a very reasonable price. You can even text to order. There is a reason they win awards every year. So friendly!
Best Thai restaurant hands down in Burnaby or even Id say the Lower Mainland. Excellent service and the food was amazing. 6 out of 5 stars
Great thai food served by mostly thai staff in a simple but nice setting. Usually not overly crowded. Food is amazing and not overly spicy. Food : 5/5
I ordered taro glutinous rice with coconut milk, but I not get coconut milk and it was burnt
The quality of food was ok to compare with the price, but not perfect .
Food is above average but not the best - my Pad Kee Mao wasnt spiced up as requested, but made for a good meal nonetheless.
Wonderful authentic Thai restaurant. Little cozy place.
Delicious food and friendly staff! Would recommend the fried chicken wontons, chicken pad Thai or chicken pad seew.
Wonderful food and service as always. The prices are great and the menu is huge! The Thai Suki (no broth with chicken or pork), Panang Curry (with coconut rice), and Tom Yum soup are favourites for us. We usually spend around 20-30$ per person and share. We are always impressed with the quality and speed for pick up orders.
Great soups !
Went here for lunch today based on the Google rating. We were there around 1230-1245 and were sat down pretty much right away. We ordered, the chicken satay, panang curry with chicken medium hot, and a chicken pad Thai. I should have taken pictures of the food but unfortunately had forgotten my phone. I suppose I could have used my wife s but honestly wasn t really impressed with the presentation of the dishes. I m not really sure how the restaurant has won the best of Burnaby but then again, votes count. We enjoyed the chicken satay. The sauces were tasty and the meat was moist. The panang curry and side of rice came out next and I thought it was pretty good, although for medium spicy it was not in the least spicy at all. The chicken pad Thai was a complete fail. As another Google reviewer stated, it was one note, sweet. The noodles were on the little too chewy side, it was just sweet tasting, no sour or other flavours at all. It was barely warm in that there was no caramelization from a hot wok. I also found chicken to be quite dry, although the tofu was good. We were really looking forward to the pad Thai and it was a big let down. Prices are in line with other Thai Restaurants, but more than likely won t go back
Great food and service!!!
This is my second time here at Chas Thai, unfortunately it s not a great one. The pad Thai chicken we ordered tasted nothing but sweet. It s too sweet that we had to use water to balance out its sweetness. In the end, we had to eat the pad thai plainly.
I recently visited this Thai restaurant and was blown away by the flavors in my meal. The green curry was incredibly creamy and flavorful, and my boyfriend - who is Thai - thoroughly enjoyed the laap. He particularly appreciated the balance of sourness and sweetness in the dish. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, even though we ordered it to go. To top it all off, we indulged in the khao niao mamuang dessert with coconut ice cream, which was the perfect way to end our meal. We left feeling satisfied and impressed with the quality of the food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.
Really like thai taste
Chad Thai made over 50+ individual meals for us for a catering event. They were super attentive about allergies and dietary restrictions. The food tasted fantastic, would highly recommend!
Very considerate for the clients, good food and service
Service is bad and food took a long time to come. Price too high for the quality of the food.
Love this place. My favorite Thai place. Food is delicious and authentic - never been let down. Service is always outstanding. Prices are generally fair. Food
It s a nice little shop, but the service is a bit slow. The dishes are pretty good. I was surprised by the spring rolls. The curry flavor also includes beans. It s quite unique. The tom yum soup is delicious.
10/10. Only in Vancouver for a week from the uk and I ll definitely be coming again.
It took almost one hour to prepare our order while they delivered food to 10 people who arrived after us. The atmosphere is free of oxygen, and air circumstance doesnt exist. They didnt even try to say sorry for their poor service. I wont recommend this place at all!
Love this place
Nice to have Thai cuisine
Great authentic Thai food and friendly service. Good to make a reservation since it can get busy.
Simple, clean, delicious and affordable! Parking: There are many parking spaces on the roadside, you can park for two hours
Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and the Pad Khing - the chicken was bit dry in both dishes but enjoyed the overall flavor of the Pad Thai. Vegetarian options: Menu items have a V to indicate it can be prepared vegetarian.
Pretty big letdown, Reddit would have your believe like it s some kind of hole in the wall find that serves authentic food. It s the same as every Asian restaurant that tries to cater to western palates - every dish is watered down and made sweet. Even the raw papaya salad. Really disappointed as the food basically tastes what you d come up with using store bought Thai curry pastes.
Food taste good, but portion is not too big.
Great Thai food at an affordable price. Cant wait to go back for more.
Super delicious food! Came with a friend after being recommended here by a nearby store owner. We were not disappointed - I got the chicken pad thai and my friend had spicy noodle soup. Both came with an appetizer of our choice. Very affordable lunch specials :) got the cashew chicken for takeout and my husband loved it!
The food was exceptional. Each dish had more veggies than other Thai places. The tamarind paste was made in house. The red curry was so creamy and flavourful.
I give full marks to all 3 factors: taste, service and speed. I paid for it alone with a chicken lunch, beef curry, and Thai iced tea.
Great food and friendly service. I recommend the pad thai.
Vegetarian options: Excellent choice Food
This is one of the best Thai places around. Super lucky to have this gem in North Burnaby. Been coming here for awhile now and the service is always super friendly. Ive tried all their curries and I have to say I do prefer the penang curry. Cant go wrong with any of them though, just my personal preference. Lunch specials definitely hold their value! Only 15 bucks!
Great service with authentic food! Very clean and well kept restaurant. The server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu options. Our food was prepared quickly and was steaming when it arrived at our table. The food was flavourful and crispy. I highly recommend checking this gem in Burnaby out!
We ordered the chicken pad Thai, lettuce wraps with chicken and chicken panang curry with medium coconut rice. The flavor in all of the dishes was stunning and bursting with deliciousness. The curry was sooo creamy and had some peanut flavor which we really enjoyed! We had the sweetest server who seemed so happy to be working there and always had a big smile on her face! We will definitely be coming back!! The price is also really affordable - these 4 dishes for only $50 Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options on the menu Parking: Free parking lot with 2 hour parking behind the restaurant
Nice Thai restaurant
Best Thai food in Burnaby hands down. I grew up in Thailand and I can confirm that Chad Thai dishes are authentic and delicious. Staff is very friendly too.
Since I have known this restaurant I have been one one of my favorites. A few days ago I went to celebrate my birthday, the attention and service were great. I highly recommend it.
Great food, and celiac/ gluten free safe if you are careful to mention it when ordering.
Owner is super kind and attentive. Food tastes great. Prices are very reasonable.
The food was amazing and the service was very friendly. Definitely reccomend it! Hole in the wall place, looks very unassuming, but it would be a mistake to overlook it. Food
This Chai Thai is best Thai restaurant ever And it s not available in Uber eats delivery Food
Filling, tasty food. Pleasant staff. Knowledgeable about vegetarian ingredients. Will definitely go back!
Great food! Give them a try
Food: 4/5 Excellent food, the Pad Thai was delicious and hot. The deep fried rice was so flavourful, loved it. Service 3/5 They were courteous, but were not present. It wasnt a super busy night but it seems they have many responsibilities. Didnt take the order quick and has to call the server, once I did, the food came relatively fast. The empty plates on the table were not taken away and we kept piling them up. Not a deal breaker but Id think they can see when after 25 mins there is 1 then 2 then 3 plates piled up. And that prevents more room to spread the rest of the plates across the table. Atmosphere 4/5 I like it that its roomy and seems to have enough tables to accommodate bigger parties and the background music is pleasant. Overall I enjoyed the food, dont think the service was bad just not awesome but it was never intentional. I would go there again and try something else.
Good food, good people working, and a good price - hard to find these days! Highly recommend.
Not very good. The pad Thai noodles were an over cooked sloppy mess & the chicken tasted like dry, days old roasted chicken sliced off and thrown on top. #57 beef veg stir fry was very watery, tasteless, uninteresting. Would not recommend.
Small local mom n pops with a killer Thai ice tea
The Pad Thai Goong was good. The beef green curry was ok. Beef was kinda tough despite paying a premium for it (+$1). It also wasn t very green, compared to other green curries that I ve had (like the one from Thai Basil). I appreciated that they didn t hold back on the spice when I asked them to make it hot. Fish cakes weren t good. The taste of ginger was overpowering and they were soggy. Pickup time was fairly long (30mins), but accurate. 3.5/5, rounded down to offset general reviews.
Decent food but the standout was the service. Very attentive, kind, welcoming. Thank you Chad Thai
Great food, lovely people!
Great vegetarian options and friendly staff
Second time to Chad Thai and another delicious meal. Like everyone says, food is authentic Thai. They were very busy for a Monday lunch time and worked hard to service everyone promptly. Great food and experience. Will definitely be back!
Best Thai food in the gva
If you go during lunch time, they serve a veggie spring roll. Pad Thai Goong (Tiger prawn) comes with stir-fried bean sprouts. There may be some likes or dislikes about having the bean sprouts pre-roasted. I like Pad Thai, so I almost only ate this menu. This restaurants other menu items seem to be more popular than Pad Thai. Ill try a different menu next time.
My go to Thai place! Their food and service is always phenomenal
Great ppl & good food drunken noodles over Pad Thai noodles . Curry fish has great flavors but not fresh? Overall best expertise!!
They ve been quite consistent over 7 years or so now, and as a thai cuisine fanatic, happy to know this place. It gets busy during dinner but their service is accommodating and kind. Had I not moved further I d be more of a regular. Pad thai reminds me of the street style flavors of Bangkok.
Absolutely fantastic food!!!
The restaurant is owner worked and the owner is a very nice lady. The food is good and the L3 Khao Moo Kratiem Kia Dao is my favorite! A very nice place for lunch!! Parking: Street parking, a couple of spots right in front of the restaurant, but there are many more on the side street, all for free. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, so wheelchair access is good, but there is a bookshelf at the entrance, so it is a bit tricky getting into the restaurant.
Always good
By far the best Thai food I ve had in metro Vancouver and probably the best I ve had outside of Thailand. Penang curry and pad Thai are mind blowing. So much flavour. Delicious!
Great service and food. Nice little spot for a quick bit or takeout. My wife has been before and we will come again!
Called for pick up/take out, food was ready quickly and waiting for me when I arrived. Everything was delicious, Chad Thai will definitely be out new go to spot for Thai take out. Friendly staff and I like the idea of being able to text in my order for accuracy.
Not easy to find good Thai food in Vancouver, so cherish this place with good price and good quality Thai cuisine
We ordered the yellow thai curry (hot spice level) and steamed rice and it was really tasty. We do like spicy food, but we are going to order medium spicy next time.
The pad thai was soggy and wet :( Personally I think there are other Thai restaurants on Hastings that are much better.
Great service, great food for a great price. I love that you can communicate via text.
This nice little restaurant is located in the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood. The khao soi was so delicious. It s hard to find it in Vancouver and you know they re legit when they serve you pickle mustard greens.
Legit thai food! Just ordered pad thai and it was the best Ive had in a long time. Thanks Chad Thai!
Really like the red curry. Havent been here is a while. Pity cause the food is great. Just had the green curry. It was yummy. Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes can have tofu instead of meat.
The beat service, the best food, and the sweetest staff. Incredible lunch deals!
Not recommended at all ! Over priced Thai food. Bad service! We ordered a Pad Thai, Green Veggie Curry and Papaya Salad. The papaya salad was good, green curry okay, but with $15.99(no rice included) in my opinion overpriced compared to other authentic Thai restaurants. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai only tasted sweet, no flavour at all. The restaurant is quite inflexible with costumer requests. We wanted the egg in the Pad Thai not scrambled but as a whole sunny side over on top which was not possible, the server explained, because it would be more work for the kitchen. Her solution was that we could order it for 2$ extra to have the egg sunny side over. Future Customers should be aware that rice must be purchased extra for 3-4$ Per portion and that all dishes with beef meat cost 1$ extra! All in all $50 for two persons, a bad experience!
Authentic home made Thai food, Thai dissent and Thai people
Always a great experience. The food has so much layered flavor. Strongly recommend the panang curry and coconut rice.
Extremely tasty and fresh food. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. They were accommodating to allergies (peanut) and really good and being clear with the dishes and bringing them out separate. Can t wait to be back.
Love the fried eggs and ice Thai coffee
Got my order wrong! Parking sucks, and the food is way spicier than I asked for. I love Thai food, but I tossed half of my soup down the drain:-(
This is the best Thai food Ive ever had and I spent 3 weeks in Thailand and have tried a lot of the Thai restaurants in Vancouver. Every dish Ive had here is truly amazing! I also love the fact that they dont use MSG and every dish has the best flavor and always tastes fresh. The owner of the restaurant is so nice and she runs a fantastic restaurant. I cant say enough about it, you must try it, you will be so happy you did
The best Thai Food we have had especially their Pad Thai.
Really good thai food!! I think the best in Vancouver
Love their food
To the attention of those who will order; They usually deliver late with words like its ready soon, almost ready. Today I waited exactly 39 minutes. Of course, they lied like it was almost ready to be packed. Finally they thanked me for my patience. However, I just asked them to give an accurate estimated delivery time. I wrote this for those who dont like lies.
Good food, bad service!
My boyfriend and I have gotten take out from Chad Thai a handful of times now, and every time it s so good! Would definitely recommend!
