Please check specific listings.
Super gathering spot for families and friends. Wheelchair ramp accessible. Enjoy local fresh food and drinks all in one spot. Plenty of places to sit, nice washroom caters to everyone. Pizza, noodles, tacos, curries, pastas and a fun bar at the back.
If you love trying different cuisines, this place is perfect. There are so many great options, and two of my favorites are Pure Street Food and La Mano Pasta. Everything tastes delicious, but I highly recommend the wings from Pure Street Food and the pasta from La Mano. The pasta is cooked al dente and tastes incredibly fresh. The location is fantastic—great if you’re downtown looking for a quick lunch during work or grabbing a late dinner. There’s also plenty of seating, so you can relax and enjoy your meal comfortably.
Came here for dinner with my family on a Saturday evening. It was pretty busy but we managed to find some tables for ourselves. We really enjoyed the variety of foods that we ordered! Everything we got was delicious and had great quality! Staff were pretty friendly and the environment was clean and well-kept. Would definitely come back here!
Love, love, love the variety and diverse flavors at this food hall. The vendors are all excellent with fresh food and delicious offerings. We have tried many of the vendors and they are all very good!
It's nice that most major cities we've visited now have these types of food halls. There's something for everyone to eat, and there's alcohol and coffee too. We tried the pizza, pasta, Indian food, and Korean fried chicken, and all were really good. The space isn't too big, so not a huge selection, but enough to give options. There's also a good amount of seating, with one part acting as an indoor-outdoor space, which was really nice on a summer day. They also have a big screen, which was playing sports today. The food is not cheap, but everything was done well, and the pricing is to be expected with these kinds of food halls. Parking was free today because it was Sunday, and it wasn't too hard to find a spot in front.
I guess Guy Fierri went here? They have his memorabilia and episode playing non stop. The pho is delicious. The Indian paneer was alright but it was a bit slower in service. Hubby ordered burger and fries with white sauce and it was delicious. Overall recommend!
There's a variety of food available here and a lot of them are delicious. Others I can't speak about as I haven't tried. There's apparently free parking at an indigo lot nearby, as seen on a poster. Behind the building is a nice park, and this market has a patio facing it. I can imagine how nice it must be during the summer evenings for families living in the area.
Cool concept! Modern style food court with a variety of stalls to try. Pizza, Korean fried chicken, tacos, noodle bar.. and so much more. Definitely on the cool and hipster side of things, which is also reflected in the prices. Though that’s not to say that the food isn’t good. But it’s simply good and not extraordinary. Awesome place to come with friends!
Chill spot
Love this place! Best coffee shop in town!
I went to order vodka birrata at the pasta place and they told me they were out of it. So I decided to get the bolognese. Later I found people getting the birrata to go. They woman working at the counter at the pasta place was rude, ignorant, and sarcastic.
Love this place to drop in at my convenience
The best noodle shop in Calgary
Excellent place to have meals and drinks with family or friends
Cool place to eat and hang out!
I order a beef pho. Pricey but very good. But then again, everything is pricey here so the rent must be pretty darn high
Blonde Bartender today was quite rude. My partner and I were sat outside with our food and I went in to order drinks. She asked for my ID which is no problem. I work in the industry and understand the need. I go to get and then she also asks for my boyfriends ID which again I go outside to get. During this time our food is just sitting waiting for us. The second time i go in there she says she cannot take order from me for both which again fine not a big deal. And then when we sit down to eat our meal she proceeds to stand at the bar and point and very clearly gossip about us for the duration of our meal. Not serving when not given ID is obviously very important and doesnt bother me it was a fair request. But customer service is the second important part FOH. Get some humility.
Great food and lots of space.
Good options are varied and plentiful.
Such a great place for meetings and gatherings, lot of food choices ranging from Vietnamese, Indian, Italian, healthy options and much more. Food are good quality of course. Love the hustle and bustle here!
Awesome place to grab a bite and a pint after work!
So many places to eat! Really trendy and I had no idea they served wine! Korean fried chicken was heavenly. I have had the Raw salad and smoothy a year ago supper good!
Had the Bolognese from the pasta place, it was extremely salty
Super cool place where you can try a range of different food and drink all under one roof. Very family friendly and great for groups who can t agree.
This whole place is great! All the food is delicious (especially Pure Street Food) and Nancy at the bar was just the perfect bartender! Her interactions with all her customers were so genuine and you can tell she cares about doing a great job!
Good little gem in the city, Great food options
That tacos are super loaded with meat and pricey - BUT lack flavour and then to course they charge extra for the salsa, the sauces and the verdes. The K-fried chkn was great but we got so many tiny bones in our wings it made the seniors wary while chewing with dentures. The bar and servers are awesome!
The noodle place was so good. Tried the Indian food but it was just average.
I ve been to this place countless of times to finish some work, go to a calmer environment, etc. But today I went, was welcomed by all the nice workers, and this one specific man who worked at the bar saw I had some food I brought in, but I was still going to purchase a drink and just finish up some work needed to be done. This worker starts arguing with us, saying you can t be in here with outside food! You have to buy something! And I was attempting to explain I was going to purchase an item and drink, but he told us to get out, and was EXTREMELY rude. The man had grey hair and worked at the bar, and he has always been pushy to customers. All of the other workers are very kind and I ve never had an issue with any of them. But I am gladly never coming back because of this treatment of the bar worker. Get a life and stop screaming at people, do your job.
Cafeteria style service but the choice of foods is fantastic! Fish vindaloo, veg samosa and veg pakora from Saffron Street. Must return to try the other stands.
Nice atmosphere, went during lunch period so was a little more busy than usual maybe. Had some tacos that were okay. May not get seating if go during busy periods. Has bathrooms to use- relatively clean. Would go again.
I loved this place!! Its the perfect spot to have dinner with friends or family (everyone can find something that they like). There was plenty of indoor seating. 100% recommend!
Great concept, great choice, not too expensive
This is a really neat venue with lots of food options.
Trendy spot. Went on a Friday night 6pm. Super busy, very crowded, hard to find a table. Food stall crawl. Pho was ok, broth was too sweet. Korean fried chicken was good, nice crisp, good flavor and spice. Pizza was a bit oily but tasted good. Tacos was good, big portion, beef and pork was tasty. Prices are a tad more than average. Need to hit the Indian spot next time.
Fun atmosphere, delicious food choices!
Good place for downtown. Many options
GET THE Hu Tieu Bo Sate AT NOODLE BAR.
Great variety of choices!
Fantastic spot if youre not sure what you want to eat. Theres something for everyone and all the restaurants in this food hall are so good! The dining area and outside patio have great atmosphere and lots of space. The unisex washrooms are also awesome and feel so luxurious!
Korean Fried Chicken - super good. Believe them when they say the spicy chili is hot. It had my mouth on fire but was so good. Fries were excellent and portions were huge. Kid-friendliness: Kids were able to snag a single slice of pizza that was great.
Not sure if the staff are alive or not. Tried to order my food but she just stood there. Tried to pay for my food but she again just stood there.
Love the open air concept!
Good pasta here. The cold sandwiches Id pass on. Really neat concept for the market!
Cool vibe. Decent food, great prices and portions
A wonderful place to have a variety of food & drinks. Only issue- my out-of-town guest & I wanted a meal at 9pm. Checking their website, it noted the place closes at 11pm, with no mention that most of the food outlets closed at 9pm. Only the taco place was opened. We were helped by an amazing server who was most helpful. Get the website to be correct please.
Food is good at Saffron Street. But overpriced though. The Thali should have 2 rotis at least instead of just 1. Food
Pure street food!
Outstanding food market. We love going here for tacos, viet food and pasta (depending on the craving/mood). The ambiance is nice and their patio area is dog friendly.
Delicious for lunch
Good variety of good food in a pleasant environment
Wonderful choice of options!
So many places to choose from for your food experience.
What a cute food hall! Lots of options and ample seating. Went to the bar at the back to grab a drink. Caesar was tasty!
The food hall is like an elevated food court with lots of seating including a common long tables. Theres also a covered patio area that opens up with a glass roof allowing lots of natural light in. Lots of food choices available from tacos, pasta, pizza, Indian, pho, Korean fried chicken and burgers. Alforno cafe and juice bar is also available
Okay place
Awesome selection of restaurants however very disappointing to not have high chairs for kids. Lots of parents struggling holding their kids instead of being able to relax while their child is safe in a highchair.
Good food and lots of variety s of stalls! Some pricier than other
Great ambience and a place with multiple options for food. Always excited to go to this place and try food here . Vegetarian options: Dosa , Samosa Chaat, Chhole bhature at saffron Indian restaurant
Hu Tieu Dry Noodles
Great variety for food possibilities. I was impressed! I was able to find something for me and my little ones with ease :) I also loved the vibe in there - quaint and peaceful, the park/playground is easily accessible - just adjacent to the market. Bathrooms are clean and accessible, have change table. My one criticism, if you will, is that I was asked by a manager to relocate as my stroller was blocking a high-traffic pathway to the washroom, but wasn t really provided with a clear alternative as to where I could place it. I decided since it was a nice day and cumbersome to maneuver the stroller around tables looking for a space, that we would enjoy our food outside. Not impressed. It made me feel embarrassed and inconvenient to have to move. I wish the manager were a bit more helpful and accommodating about it. Being. Mom to an infant and going out in public to eat isn t easy. I had my hands full. Yet when I asked him where I should go he wasn t sure. Didn t make me feel very welcome. Vegetarian options: Plenty Kid-friendliness: Not Wheelchair accessibility: Not
There are many options here. The food is tasty, and the environment is great
I do enjoy the variety of foods. Pure street food and saffron street both excellent. The sesame donut beef with dip is delicious, i also ordered the shrimp vindaloo with roti. The vindaloo was real good and not as spicy as traditional vindaloo . Not a big fan of actually pretty good or the taco spot, if the taco spot had a decent al pastor it would be great.
K-Town Korean fried chicken just opened up a few days ago where the deli used to be and it is delicious. They have a nice big lunch special for around $19 that comes with five pieces of fried chicken (yes, five), a salad, fries and a pop. Each item was delicious. Fried chicken was tender and crispy, the fries were crisp and light, and the salad had a really good dressing. 9/10. Would eat here again.
Went to Saffron and Noodles. They were both delicious, I would highly recommend either.
Having trouble trying to decide on what to eat tonight? Try this food hall. Lots of great food and options to fit everyone s tastes. Also a great place to grab a drink, if say proof has a list. Or do a happy hour and eat after a few drinks.
There s so many food to choose from this place especially the noodle house was soo good.
You can find some amazing food here that you will never see at your average fast food court.
Wow, I found it, rice noodles for life #1 I ordered the basic rice noodles and can choose between spicy, non-spicy, thick, and thin noodles. I ordered spicy, thick noodles and it was the best pho Ive ever had. I didnt expect much because I thought it was a food court, but it was worth the $19. The noodles were Hanoi-style, and the spicy and sour broth reminded me of Hue-style rice noodle soup. Next time, Ill try the basic flavor. There was a whole bone in the meat, so I felt like I got a bonus. There is no sparing use of meat either. I really liked the strong lemongrass flavor. I was a little disappointed that there was only a little bean sprouts, but next time I will ask for more.
Wow multiple cuisines under one roof to try on. Love the ambience of both indoor and patio.
Yummy food always
Parking: Theres a lot that you get reimbursed for parking at! Food
The only reason Im giving A 4 star to service is because they ran out of plates and cutlery and we had to source ourselves. We are at Saffron.... Amazing South Indian food. A must try Food
Food was so good I will come back next time Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair
Pure street food is a definite must try AMAZING!!!
Delicious ! Amazing place to brunch and dinner. Vegetarian options: Good options Food : 5/5 |
The best dosa I have ever had thanks Saffron Street I wish I lived here! Food : 5/5
So many awesome food spots to indulge in!
I saw Guy Fieri on youtube sing the praises of this Indian Street food. I wanted to taste for myself and it was excellent. Even with my high expectations I was not disappointed. Going back this weekend .
The best casual street food in Calgary and you dont have to freeze to death while enjoying it!
Absolutely love eating here! Our favourites are the Vietnamese and the curry. So delicious we go here often. Highly recommend eating here.
Wide selection of food options. Nice to have a variety of flavours and styles.
Lots of great options for food, but the ambiance makes you wonder how many wallets are stolen per week. I tried the Vietnamese place and the soup was good.
Great place to meet up with family and friends. Tons of food options that are all great! They have a bar inside to get all types of drinks while you wait for food or just to have a quick drink. Lots of seating areas, it does get busy on a game night. But overall, great place for dine in & takeout (quick and easy).
This place is great. Order at whichever place you d like and grab a seat. Your buzzer goes off and you grab your food. It s wonderfully comfortable, clean and friendly. Vegetarian options: Some of the restaurants have vegan options Dietary restrictions: There are vegan options at some of the places or dairy free and gluten free options.
Tacos are good here.
Went to check out the Pure Street Food Vietnamese noodle place after seeing it featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. We had a beef pho, crispy chicken pho and the donut that Guy Fieri talked about and it was all delicious! It was not too busy for a Saturday later afternoon and well definitely go back again.
Great concept of a lounge-style food court. The craft beer and cocktail bar make it a great place for the after work crowd. Great variety of internarional food choices. Prices are decent. Great location.
Great place to eat!!!
Best PHO I ve ever had in my life
This market is an adorable little offering downtown Calgary with a variety of artisan offerings including pizza, coffee, pastries, sushi, smoothies, brunch, burgers, Indian, tacos, pasta and a bar. I mean you cant really go wrong if youre looking to grab a quick bite. Its busy on the weekends and at lunch throughout the week with the surrounding offices.
Great place for Lunch
Food was great, atmosphere wonderful. It is like a food court for adults. Kinda pricey but lots of variety and most of the places had big portions.
Excellent place, plenty of choice & great atmosphere.
Great for our family! We all ordered different and delicious snacks and meals, then grabbed some craft beers and enjoyed lunch. Its a fancy food court. Well be back for sure.
Great place to study and chill. The atmosphere is amazing and Hannah does a great job at the bar. Super friendly and great customer service!
Dont buy coffee at the coffee shop, it was served almost cold and it wasnt cheap coffee. Who ever owns this place they think they know so much about coffee when they dont know nothing. Coffee should be served at certain temperature so what they do they sell you old coffee that they put on side. Very bad experience! Dont waste your money at this teribble coffee shop!
great place to catch up with friends.
I was hesitant at first given the food was on the pricey side. decided to order pizza and a smoothie and they were both incredible! everything looked so delicious and I would definitely come again
A great place to stop for a bite on your travels in downtown. There are a handful of places to eat from and all of them are top notch.
Dont know what you feel like eating? But definitely know you want a margarita or a beer. This spot rules. A nice spread of vendors to tickle any inkling. Plus a full bar with on pae margaritas and an excellent beer selection. We had both Italian and Indian and they were top notch quality and flavor. We love this spot. Kid-friendliness: Our 11 month old has reached that age where you never know what your going to get when you go out. This place is just noisy enough that if our baby is being annoying it doesnt annoy everyone else, and we can get up leave when we need to as there are no servers. Its our new go to spot with the kid.
While the food here is pretty good, I find the prices to be astronomically high. These are just food vendors with kiosks - so very low overhead compared to restaurants who have higher tax and utility bills. I fail to understand how the high costs are justified. The costs are as high if not higher than a free standing restaurant
Great food, expensive prices, good vibes
I love the patio in the back for the summer. Great food choices and the food from each vendor has been consistently good. My favorite gotos are Moose & Poncho, and Actually Pretty Good. The pasta place and Indian place are very good too. Horchata at Moose & Poncho is a must for those hot summer days.
Lots to choose from but we finally decided on trying something healthy (the salads at Raw by Robyn are amazing) and something to indulge my carb craving (carbonara from La Mano is pretty good).
Really great place to eat for anyone in Calgary. So many cuisines in one place. If youre with a group of friends and you all like different things, this is the place for you. Really good food and vibes! Vegetarian options: Great veggie options
Got Indian and Vietnamese. Everything rocked. Flavorful and spicy.
This place is great. Loads of choice of food stalls and a bar. Light and airy, and clean. Really good food. We had the Indian food and it was exceptional. Lots of places had good vegetarian options.
This place reminds me San Miguel Market in Madrid, Spain. Its a lively collection of high quality street food. I tried Moose and Poncho, a Mexican place, and the tacos were incredible. Friendly and fast service, high quality and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend this place.
I never knew this place existed until today. Looking for a Mexican food and not just that, theres some good choices a person can explore.
Great place for food. Normally quite crowded. Loved their masala dosa!
Great idea of having a food hall with about 10 different stalls where you can choose from. I had chosen the taco one and the tacos were quite filling and a good portion. The churros were amazing. Some of the best I have had. Great environment/atmosphere as well.
The Pot au Pho is something special. Oily broth on the sweeter side with generous amounts of differently cooked beef (you know the broth is going to be good when they leave the beef bone in your bowl). I experienced an elevated pho that remains faithful to the essence of what makes pho great. Thank you.
Had the Butter Chicken plate from Saffron Street; it was really really good. Very happy with that choice. Service was excellent - friendly, fast, informative.
Excellent location with a huge dinner options in a open space concept, music, view to a beautiful park, amazing music, bar, and you can feel the people from the neighbourhood. Prices very very affordable!!
Great selection of food and a good place to bring a group of paper that all want different things.
Food is what youd expect. Its not cheap. But tasty
This place is great! Make sure to try Goatbar while you are there
Great food hall with a variety of delicious cuisine.
college cafeteria but for adults
Love that it s open late at night, and the vegan options especially at MeetNCheese (vegan cheese plate, grilled sandwiches)!
Im in there almost every week, and its a great place to bring people or to hangout by yourself. I tend to bring friends, visitors, colleagues; they have something for everyone! It has so many options, a great happy hour and the staff is just wonderful. My favorite restaurants are Saffron Street, La Mano, and Pure Street Food. While I rotate through those the most, I also love all the other restaurants and have had great experiences at each of them. The location is very central and is a fun place to be. Highly recommend!
Its not against the law to put beef ribs on rice noodles...
Pasta place there is amazing, especially gnocchi.
Very good place with different types of food
Loved it. The whole idea is amazing. Definitely coming back. Ate at Friends with Benedicts. Food was excellent.
Fun food hall with lots of food and drink options. A great casual dining experience. I had the HU TIEU MI KHO noodle and pork bowl with Pure Street Food. It was spicier than the description suggested but still good. Come with enough time to browse the options and sit and enjoy.
Collection of places with good food and one you can grab a drink too.
Good selection of food options! Always bails me and my partner out when we are hangry and can t decide what or where to eat.
The food selection and variety is really great! The cleanliness is also upto the mark! Highly recommended place! Saffron street indian place is a hidden gem inside this place!
Excellent food and environment
Amazing place, something for everyone. For me its always Saffron Street. Best South Indian food ever Vegetarian options: Great food whether you are a vegan or not
This is my favourite neighborhood haunt! Excellent food from local businesses, and staff that makes it feel like community. Happy hour drinks special is great for watching the pocket book. My favourite foods are the kati roll, tagliatelle bolognese, and kale ceasar salad; all from different vendors.
Great interior and vibe, loved the selection of food and that you could order until late. Bar offers a range of good value booze, under $10 for a glass of wine! The atmosphere wasn t amazing for a Saturday night, most of the crowd stayed for the hockey
A great selection of food stalls serving everything from breakfast to pizza to Vietnamese pho to Indian curries. Most people will find something to their liking in this place. My only comment is that the back door be equipped with an automated open/close function. A lot of people forget to close the door behind them (even though it clearly says this on the door) and its annoying for those sitting at the tables near the door.
Love going here whenever we are in the area! Every single restaurant here serves amazing food! You definitely will not be disappointed. Every time we have visitors we take them here and they really enjoy the food so much we usually go here more than a few times when visitors are here as they like trying all the different restaurants. We definitely recommend all restaurants, my favorite is the pho spot! My family and I love vietnamese food and thier culture. One of my best buddies back in Winnipeg is vietnamese and hes taken me to different spots in Winnipeg that have the best pho, and let me tell you this spot has one of the best pho in the city. The broth is amazing, flavourful and tasteful if I can put it together. It definitely hits the spot hot or cold outside I love it. Pot au pho! If you havent tried this spot make it your to do list. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend going here
The hours are incorrect. They close at 8pm and then the people who work there let you stand there like an idiot waiting for service.
Many good options, chill place
There is not a bad restaurant in this place. I still havent tried the Pho soup yet.
What can I say... this place is INCREDIBLE!! Such diverse selection food & The quality is unreal. Environment is super clean and inviting. Also great for families.. Kids can get what the want and so can you! Lol. Cant wait to go back for the Tacos!
Food was really good. We had Butter Chicken and Tacos. Each was fresh and made to order. I would definitely try it again.
Not a single stand in this food hall we have tried that we didn t love. Every single restaurant seems carefully curated for quality, service and taste. The options are well balanced and there s something for everyone. There s enough seating and plenty of natural light, which I love. It s great to come with friends, your partner, or even by yourself with your laptop. Truly a great food hall.
All of the food stalls have excellent choices that are executed to perfection.
Always great to visit, fun atmosphere, music playing
Nice place to come and try a variety of cuisine. Nice if the family has different desires for lunch/dinner. Food is solid. Seating is a challenge if you come at a busy hour.
Stumbled upon the Indian Street Food section for a plate of delicious Chhole Bhature. Must visit !!!
This was the most delicious and visually appealing bowl of pho Ive ever eaten. The Noodle Bar far exceeded my expectations in this hidden away little food court. The flavours were so exotic and spicy, the noodles cooked to perfection and the meat was so tender. It was $19.95 and a decent size but well worth it. Highly recommend to all the foodies who like something a little fancier.
Prices are little high. But cool place.
Order pizza and wait at the bar, other food is good too though
This place is awesome when people cant decide what to eat. You want pasta but your partner wants tacos? No problem! Maybe a burger and your friend want sushi? Go for it. All the food is very high quality and extremely tasty, heavily recommend the taco stand, as a Mexican, they serve true tacos that are to die for
