Had an amazing experience here. Everything from the awesome atmosphere to our wonderful service from Klarissa. 10/10 will definitely be coming back.

Had an incredible time at Central! The drink menu was fantastic, a great mix of creative cocktails. Our waitress Klarissa was so fun and bubbly, she made great recommendations and was so friendly, Highly recommend the pizza and the Blueberry Gin Fizz, definitely will be back!

First time at Central on friday with my girlfriends and 5 stars all around!! Our server Maeve was the sweetest, her fun and bubbly personality brought all the good energy for our girls night out. I strongly believe good service is what sets the good vibes and she was sure to do so!! The drinks, the food and the atmosphere was amazing will deffs be back and hope to have our fun server again. :)

Central Restaurant is where it s at! The food? On point. The vibe? Chill, comfy, and perfect for pretending I have my life together. But let me tell you, the real MVP of the night was Syd at the bar. This legend whipped up some seriously next-level drinks like, so good I considered moving in. Service was beyond awesome, like they knew what I needed before I did (psychic bartender vibes?). All in all, 10/10 would come back, if only for Syd s magic and the relaxed, good-time energy of the place.

Food and drinks were top notch. I had the Christmas eggnog and rum cocktail and the table side Truffle fried, aswell as the pork soft tacos. All the food was delicious and generously portioned. Sarah L was my waitress/server, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and made the great recommendations of food and drink, which I had. Sarah went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and that my needs were attended to, she also had great conversation and made the whole experience even better.

I was blessed with having Sarah as a server. She so was cute and adorable providing excellent service. The food and drink recommendations she gave were scrumptious. 10/10 service, will definitely be back!

Our server, Maeve, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we had our order in before happy hour ended and even helped track down some milk for our morning coffee We had a great evening during an otherwise stressful time (moving). Thank you Maeve!

Cody was the highlight of our stay. We had called in to ask about a dog friendly patio and he made our experience amazing by accommodating us and our dog. The service was absolutely amazing and attentive along with impeccable food.

My group of friends and I were here the other day for drinks and appies. Food was delicious, and the service was amazing! Maeve truly lights up the room and know how to work a room (give this girl a raise!) She had all of our drinks out in a timely manner, very knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended we try chicken enchiladas and those were drool worthy!! I LOVE coming here, the vibe is immaculate. The open concept with tons of natural light is beautiful, the menu gives you so much to choose from without being over whelming, service is always friendly and fun even the manager made his way around to our table to check in clear dishes and introduce himself. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Stopped by last night to have a couple of drinks with some friends and let me tell ya, the bartender (Weston, I believe his name was!) was fantastic! He created some pretty tasty cocktails based on what we liked. Totally friendly and personable. Thanks the exceptional service!

Always have a good time coming in here, but the bartender, Sydney, made this experience exceptional! Never really had to wait for a new beer. Food came out perfect! 100/10 will recommend and say to ask for her! Love it!

our server was not very nice. I asked her what was best on the menu and her response was order what you like . I was ready to leave, but then the hispanic manager came by and made all the difference. He suggested the chicken on the menu. He made some alternatives to the dish and I went with it. He paired it with the pineapple marg, which was a great touch. Immediately loved the atmosphere in this restaurant. Relaxed, with super friendly and professional staff Very interesting menu with a wide variety of food from different parts of the world. Xtra plus for the open kitchen. We had a fabulous burger and fried hash browns (to die for). And a tasty poké bowl with raw tuna. Bowl was good but tuna not super fresh (which brings down note from five to four). But we will definitely give them a second chance.

Walking into this place at first we were happy with the service, but when we ordered is where it got a little messy. When the sharing plates came out one of them still had old food on it then we had ordered the hot chicken sandwich (had to ask for hot sauce as it wasn t spicy) we ordered the pickles & hot chicken (again not spicy) we had order the table side truffle fries, they were soggy after they poured whatever they poured on it & then we ordered the pork belly pasta .there was a long hair in it once we let our server know she had the manager come over to apologize. By the end of the night we were just fed up with everything. Extremely loud music as if it was a night club, the smell inside was horrible (smelt like sulfur) after paying for the bills and finished our drinks we noticed that there was a piece of celery at the bottom of a cup and it was full of just pop. Extremely disappointed in the service & the food.

Friends and I came for brunch and had the pleasure of being served by Raluca. The food was delicious, our drinks were never empty and she was fun and friendly. 5/5 would recommend Central for brunch and make sure you ask for Ralucas section!

Ok, at first I wasnt sure where the restaurant was but was I ever pleased that I did. Great Ceasar and even better Szechuan Chicken bowl. The service was attentive and sincere. Loved it and will be back.

We sat in the bar, Tye was our bartender and he was fantastic, definitely made our experience better! We will be back again and hope that Tye will be there.

Central Taproom is one of Calgarys best establishments to eat, entertain, and have a fabulous evening. The staff are diverse and inclusive, ensuring everyone feels welcomed. The Autism for Life Foundation cannot wait to for our 2025-2026 events at Central. Make sure you get the American cheese burger, it s the best burger in the city!

I love visiting central taps, they ve always been so friendly and welcoming since I moved to the area and began visiting. Bartenders are attentive, servers and genuine and extraordinary, management is always hands on the floor and helping out, and faces at the front always smiling! Love love love

We were staying at the hotel across the street, so we went there for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant was fairly busy and the service was a bit slow but when the server got to us, they made up for the delay in providing a good service with recommendations to try if we were to come back. The following day, when we went back , our server Mariam was exceptional. We were having a date night and she made sure we had the best experience, right from getting us the best seat and recommending menu items to try out. She was very personable and professional at the same time, making the experience exemplary. Well definitely check out the restaurant again and look for her when we go back to Calgary.

This place is popping, and for all the right reasons. Friendly staff, great food, and amazing eats. Came here to celebrate my girlfriend s birthday, and we were both so impressed. Custom birthday drink was made for my girlfriend. 11/10! The mocktail grapefruit drink is so delicious, I had to order two. Chicken salad? Spicy, tangy, and really really fresh. Definitely coming back to try more food!

Loved the vibes. Our server Alejandro (I believe that was his name) was incredibly delightful, he was charming and definitely lifted the mood. Felt like he became part of our friend group within the short amount of time we interacted. Food and drinks were splendid.

Been here a couple times and each time the food and drinks are great, the service is top tier, and the atmosphere is perfect. The inside is awesome, very spacious, even down to the washrooms. As well as the outside, this place has everything you need!

Great atmosphere, great beer at great prices. Our waitress Helaina provided fantastic service. Would highly recommend .

The artichoke dip was delicious, highly recommend. Pork tacos were decent, flavour was there but for some reason felt like it was missing some salt which I asked for and while our server said she was bringing it out, she basically forgot about it. The people I was with enjoyed their pork bao bun but not so much the fettuccine. Place was busy for lunch and music was loud.

The best service in downtown Calgary by far, our server Mariem (Mariam?) was super helpful and super kind. She accommodated all our requests as my fiancé can only eat gluten free and his sister is vegetarian. She provided us with all the appropriate menu options and made sure that there was no cross contamination with the meals. She really exceeded our expectations and Ive never met a server so accommodating to all our dietary restrictions.

We went to Central last night after a large group of us went out for the stampede. We arrived quite close to closing time (we didn t realize this until we got there). We apologized and were totally okay with leaving but the staff ensured that we were welcomed and didn t mind serving us despite this. Our server was amazing, the manager amazing, and the food and drinks were even better! We will forsure be back with more time to enjoy next time!

Central has an amazing patio and great atmosphere; however the food was just okay. The meat in the bao and tacos was very dry. But I will say the garlic parm fries were amazing! Service was just okay, I understand that it is stampede so drinks took more times that is fine however the server missed people at the table who wanted drinks, one person ordered another drink and more were going to order but she just took the one and walked away so fast we couldn t even be like uh, everyone else s glass is empty too lol. This happened more than one time which is a shame.

Love the vibe in the summer with the patio and huge open windows. Friendly service from all. My one complaint is how freaking LOUD it is. Every time Im here, people have to yell at each other, even sitting right beside, just to hear anything. TURN DOWN THE MUSIC. My ears are ringing an hour later. Ive only eaten here at events (banquet style food set-up) but their food seems fine, nothing Id drive across town for.

Central has to be in my top 5 for places to eat in the city. I ve tried most of their menu and have never been dissatisfied. The service here continues to be great and the atmosphere is beautiful and never too loud that you can t enjoy your conversation. I rarely give a 5 start but I truly believe this place deserves it. If you re ever in town and need good food and drinks, this is a great place to go!

Everything about this establishment screams thought out . The food itself was the best I had on my trip (it also happened to be cheaper). The staff were quick, respectful, and helpful. The building and patio are industrial and elegant, providing a great location to enjoy some delicious food.

A bit torn here as we had a good time at Central Taps for dinner. It s a fun but loud place. Loved our server, she was wonderful and the vibe of the place was great . However they served us brown guacamole that was not fresh (tasted old) so it was very off putting. I ve never been served bad avocado anywhere before since it s an obvious one to toss when brown. We really don t like sending food back so we just didn t eat it. The fettuccine pasta was really good. Good drinks selection and large food menu. Would return still and hope for a better experience next time.

Amazing food as service was excellent. We went when the NHL playoffs were going and it was very lively and the atmosphere was top notch! Would definitely recommend and come here again!

In town for 4 days came here 3 times. Great food and service. Isabella our server was excellent and made us feel at home. Wish we had a Central back home in Ontario.

Food and service is great. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Miles, I believe. He was excellent and gave us great recommendations for food individually and to share. I m a beer guy, my wife is into wine, and her friend likes cocktails. Do the fact that we can all go to one place and have a great selection is really rare but Central nails it. The venue itself is very unique, hip, and clean. Can t recommend enough.

Central is a great place to hang out with friends. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and I left satisfied and pleased with my choice. I came for drinks on a busy night and the service was amazing.

I ordered food and pre paid. After being told they were out of food. They refused to make anything different. They refused to give me a refund? The manager Frankie refused to give a receipt. Just scammed me out of 30.00? It s laughable.

Great restaurant. Best service we ve had in Canada. Julianna served us, we never had to ask for a drink refill. She was attentive and a great server. Burger was great. Ramen was good. Would definitely visit again.

Taste like McDonalds fries that s been left out overnight, reheated in a microwave and mixed in whatever watery sauce that just makes everything soggy. Also super oily and the fine herbs are not fresh at all, for $15, these are the worst fries I ve ever had.

I was here yesterday, and had a great time! The manager, Cody, was super nice, and answered all our drink ingredient questions(and thanks to dietary restrictions, there were MANY questions). The service was great, and I will be back!

Stopped in here for the first time in over a year yesterday and was very happy with the experience. We ordered the sliders, pepperoni pizza, wings, and spicy California rolls. The food was excellent and hit the spot for three guys who were starving. The beer was cold, service was stellar and the vibe was a nice change from so many downtown spots. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the modern and upbeat ambience, complimented by the excellent food. But what really makes this place special is Frankie. A charismatic, kind, and professional young man, Frankie made us feel right at home. After a long and tiring day of sightseeing, Frankie attended our every need promptly and with a bright smile. Frankie was a pillar of our incredible experience at Central Taps and we will definitely be back.

I got a seat in 33 brewing place. You can order food from central. The food was average at best. I got the teriyaki chicken. It seems like they mixed a sauce with rice and added rice and some cut veggies. Not special or anything

Very fun space, happy hour is killer! It was. a new menu launch day and was super fun to try the new bights. Chicken wings were super spicy, perogies were great, sushi was fun. Overall a very fun place for a night out, I would highly recommend!

I recently visited and found the food to be so delicious and the drinks were very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive! 5 starts across the board! Would deff recommend trying the Crispy chili salmon rolls and the Lemon peppered calamari!

Vibes are awesome around the whole building from the patio to the interior. Service is very warm, makes you feel like youre a regular even as a first timer. But the star of the show is the horchata - you can say youll only have one but youll be wrong.

All I have to say is the Horchata cocktail is the best thing every created! I could not stop ordering them during my dining experience there. The Service and the retro/80s & 90s atmosphere is great! Keep it up!

Great place all around. Came here for the after-after party to a university event. Great place! The food was good, drinks were great, and was all reasonably priced. Above all, the staff were amazing! Everyone was nice and attentive, even one of the waitress also got our table drinks on the house when we arrived, which was beyond nice. I ll be sure to come back!

Terrible! The waitress is rude and ill-mannered

This was our 2nd visit to Central Taps. Our first visit is what brought us back, but our 2nd visit is what will keep us away. Here is a summary: Ordered drinks, it took over 20 mins to get the first ones - first 2 choices they were out of (Coors Light & Aveleda Wine) - ordered a lager and received a grapefruit hoppy beer??? - ordered a Miller Lite beer with a glass and received a bottle. Asked 3 different times for a glass - final got it after 20 mins and half way through the beer. - ordered a Moscow Mule - tonic water with a splash of ginger beer and vodka - not a piece of mint to be found! Oh, but there was tons of ice. Meals - ordered a Salmon bowl, received a Pork Bell ramen bowl? Which was barely warm We weren t offer any type of consolation, except to say well I can put the order in for the Salmon bowl but it will take a bit to get it ! Waiter was very inexperienced and it showed. We had to flag him down a number of times just for water. pièce de ré·sis·tance - the bathrooms were pretty bad when we got there at 5:45p, and they only got worse. By 8p they were out of toilet paper, hand soap and the floors were disgusting. We even brought it to the staff s attention but nothing was done while we remained there. What can we say - everyone in our party left saying they wouldn t come back.

Place is nice. Staffs are great but I didn t like the food.

Popped into Central Taps with a few friends for dinner and drinks. The building has a nice vibe, its clean and spacious. Had the artichoke + parmesan dip and it was decent, would have been better served with bread instead of tortilla chips. Still Solid. Fully Loaded burger was surprisingly good. Burger is well put together with crispy smash patties and quality fixings. It absolutely went in. After a few pints (which were cold and crisp) I got a sweet tooth tickle and sent a Maui Pie down the maw. This dessert was so good Id come back just to eat another one. Its a must try. Server was a great guy and the Manager even came around to make sure everything was tip-top. Great service and ambience. Will be back for sure.

Wonderful place with delicious beers always rotating through, amazing staff from the kitchen to the servers to the management, and don t skip out on that Maui Pie!!

I ve been a few times now and it s always solid. The food is good, the drinks on rotation are always great, and the service is always very pleasant. It makes for a great work lunch, or spot to watch the game. All in all I m keen to go back.

Currently sitting at central. I get that it s St.Patrick s weekend on a Saturday but 45 min to get our drinks on the table is a stretch for a busy night I d be happy to come back on a Wednesday at noon but never again on a busy night. Might starve at this point

The food was, hands down, great! High quality, good taste, good presentation, and quite a large amount of food came with the teriyaki salmon bowl. The atmosphere was good, it kind of seemed like a college vibe but not obnoxious. Service was great and the place was very clean, which is a must! It was a little heavier on the price but totally worth every penny and if you like yourself an old fashioned, that was one of the better ones Ive had! Highly recommend!!

Our family of four enjoyed a pregame meal before a Saturday Flames game. All the staff - from the hostess to our server to the manager - exceeded expectations. Everyone greeted us with a smile. We enjoyed the happy hour appetizers and a couple beers as well. Dont sleep on the Malibu Bowl and Bao Bun Pork -- top notch. We will be back if our travels take us to Calgary again.

Good food and the staff is always friendly. They have the hockey game on way too loud. Couldnt talk to my date across the table. I get it. The game is exciting. That kind of volume is for sports bars though.

Absolutely love this place! Vintage pieces like 80s pop machines and storage from the 70 s surround the dining area. We always order a couple tacos and the antipasti platter. That, paired with a couple handmade cocktails start the night off right.

I have to tell you I ve never been so moved by a manager before. Working dt has to be tough with all the homeless people around. Your manager tonight, Frankie, was incredibly caring to a man who simply wanted to get warm. Where others would have called security or worse, he helped him while keeping staff and clients safe. The food has always been good but this moved me enough to write about it.

Your manager Frankie is the sole reason for us coming back. He s personable, funny, kind and has leadership skills! Have seen him on many occasions interacting with staff, clients and the homeless. He is excellent at what he does which is way beyond managing some staff. I will steal him the second I get the chance and hope Central realizes what an incredible employee they have! The food is good but taste better when a manager remembers your name and makes you feel like you re at Cheers.

The experience was something... Interesting... They serve wine in water glasses... The chicken wings were good. HOWEVER, my friend is allergic to nuts and she did get macadamia on her dessert, a potential life was at risk...

Catch up with a buddy here on a Sunday. Drink specials and snacks and hockey on the tube. Great service.

Were visiting Calgary and was staying at a hotel near by. Was looking for a resturant to eat decided on central because of the good reviews. We walked over and did takeout to eat back at the hotel. Worst mistake ever! I spent $75 on food that was absolutely terrible. We had the spicy California rolls, miso pork belly ramen & pork Bao buns. The spicy California rolls had hard rice that tasted old. It was honestly so bad that I couldnt believe I paid $17 for it. Tasted worst than sushi you buy from the grocery store. Miso ramen was extremely salty. I had to dilute down with 1 cup of hot water. Bao buns were alright. But for $21 so not worth it.

I was there several times as I work nearby so it were mostly lunches. The service was good - quick enough for such a rush hour. The food was great! No complaints at all.

Came in to meet some pals, they bailed which was lame, but Cory was rad. Saw me looking around and greeted me, convinced me to stick for a drink, great recomandation, great service. Told me about a weekly event I didnt know about, pitched it well. Great job Cory, big fan

Karissa, did a great job of waiting our table. Food came out nice and toasty, and no beat was missed for our orders. Clean environment with a fun and uplifting atmosphere. Would come again :)

Really chill place with great drink selection and really good food. Honestly the best truffle fries I ve had, and the patio is such a nice space to hang out and have a few drinks.

Great location and service. Considering they dont specialize in sushi and Ramen, both dishes were very good.

I had just an okay experience here. When we arrived the hostess was just chatting with a fellow staff and didnt bother to get us seated immediately which wasnt very welcoming. Their pepperoni pizza and nachos were great! The cheeseburger was just so so. The star of the night was our server, Dillon. He was awesome--very friendly. He even made sure to get our orders quickly so we could make happy hour. The only other downside of the night was that one of my friends orders got missed. We waited a while and had to call them again since they forgot about it. I guess I wouldnt mind going back but it isnt necessarily one of my go-to places.

Really cool place! Came here for my dad s birthday & to watch the flames game - staff set us up in a booth right in front of all the tv s, service is great! Good selection of craft beers and speciality cocktails - definitely recommend the Mexican Chicken Only critic would be the gluten free beer on the menu isn t actually gluten free - found this out when it came to the table - is actually gluten friendly so something to watch out for. But overall good experience!

We had Lane as a server and on a scale of 1-10 he is a 15/10. The most incredible customer service!! He made sure everyone was happy and so attentive. Made my experience so much better and that says a lot considering the food at Central is (in my opinion) the most underrated in the city. Everything is amazing!! 100% ask for Lane if you re here he will make your already amazing experience 10x better!!! 100/10

Nice looking place and wasnt too busy, food smelled good. I Took a seat and watched servers all around me do their thing with a one large table and a couple smaller ones, nothing crazy. Maybe it the toque I was wearing but never chance to try the food. Highly unlikely Ill be back as Im from out of town.

Wow! What a great place! Yummy food, excellent and friendly service, and private washrooms for all you shy poopers out there. Their beer selection is amazing and Central has the most delicious assortment of cocktails and fine wines. An all around great place to go for dinner with your loved one or a night out with friends, Central Taps + Food is a must if youve never been.
