The food was great but the bast part of the experience by far was our hostess Daisy, she went above and beyond making sure we were situated as fast as possible, great service.

Our service was excellent and food was delicious. It was late when we went as it was after a show at the Jubilee and the atmosphere was lovely. Lighting was pleasant and noise level was great allowing for peaceful conversations.

Robyn was great! Had a lot of good gf options, especially the burger and fries!

Robyn was an amazing host! We were greeted with a big smile and it felt like she genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great experience. Cannot recommend Robyn enough!

Austin and Bolu were the reason we came in tonight. These gentlemen were very skilled and personable. I apprieciate them creating an atmosphere that is inviting and uplifting! Cheers fellas!

I often order Joey s with door dash and the experience is consistently excellent. Ive orderer around the menu and the food is always tasty. Their customer service is outstanding, my takeout included complimentary brownies and a handwritten note from their staff Bhavjit, thanking me for my order.

We had an amazing time sitting at the bar! Austin and Bolu were amazing bartenders and all our drinks came so quickly even on a busy Friday night. The manager Jamie even came over just to ask how our evening was going! We will definitely be back in for some late night happy hour :)

I love Joeys, I always get great food, every single time. Lately Ive been ordering the blackened chicken, BEST one Ive had from any restaurant, and the smashed potato salad is so good it should be on the menu as a meal on its own! Weve ordered so many times from this location, they often surprise us with complimentary brownies that we heat up with ice cream to cap off the delicious dinner. Last night Leah packed our order and it was perfection! If you havent tried the food here, do yourself a favour and try the blackened chicken entree

I ordered food from the Joey s website to be delivered to my hotel. Ordered a ribeye steak, which arrived without any cutlery. When I called the restaurant to complain, they said it was related to a AB bylaw about plastics and not their problem but to call door dash. When I contacted DoorDash they said not their problem but the restaurants and said there should have been a prompt at check out which there was none. I had no choice but to eat the meal cold without cutlery. Not great experience at all and customer service response was brutal. Need to flag this or replace plastic cutlery with wooden options. Updates. So I reached out by email as per the below and called the restaurant and asked to speak to the individual below. No response to both phone calls or emails.

I enjoyed my experience. The restaurant was busy but not crowded, many groups of coworkers and friends. Jamie was our server, she was attentive and extremely polite. Menu had new items on it so that s what I tried. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and tasted great. Would recommend to all.

Im from a small town and gluten free (a hard and limited life lol), the consideration and attentiveness from the staff and Jess in particular was amazing! The food was also spectacular! Dietary restrictions: Staff are very aware about gluten and cross contamination.

I hosted a private corporate Christmas party here at Joey and everything was fabulous! Gabby, Erika, and Jordan were so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The vibes, food, and drinks were all amazing. I highly recommend working with Joey to plan a private event! We will definitely book more events with them in the future.

Great food and service. Edit 12/6/2024: Everythings still amazing here but its clearly understaffed. Last few experiences had a single waitress on over a dozen tables and one bartender. Took forever to get help.

I had such a great experience at JOEY! The food was delicious -every dish hit the mark. The vibe of the place was awesome too -great energy without being too loud. Our server Abhi was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. Abhi had great recommendations (we ended up trying a couple of dishes we wouldn t have thought of otherwise), and he made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

I went to the joeys downtown Calgary and was very happy with the atmosphere and the friendly courteous staff. I went in for lunch and I was served by a polite, friendly, attentive server named Kaelyn. She provided me with excellent service and was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped me decide what to eat and her recommendation was spot on. She made my experience very pleasant and would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a good meal with excellent service

I would 100% recommend the Joey Eau Claire, I m bringing all my friends here and asking for Tori to be our server! She s the best, her smile is contagious:) You have to start with the Spicy Strawberry Margarita, OMG best marg I ve ever had and then pair it with the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps. But here s the best part, ask for it to be in salad form! Chefs kiss!

We always love to come to Joey, but today the food was surprisingly different, less and simple than usual. It was $20 for a very simple burger. I get a better one at A&W. However, the service was amazing by Brandon, his special attention and smile made a difference for sure.

Overpriced menu for crappy food, you could have the same food from the frozen food aisle in the supermarkets. The table we got was terrible, we could smell peoples perfumes around us, thats how close and tight everybody was, just to maximize space. If you want to throw your money away and have a bad experience... do not hesitate to come to Joeys.

Brandon was our server, he killed it with this only being being his 4th shift! He was very kind and diligent, he made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I would come back here just to experience Brandons vibes again, hes a great guy and has a long serving career ahead of him! Thanks again for making our experience the best!

I found this location to be so much nicer than the other ones in Calgary. Here, I could actually converse in a normal voice, instead of having to shout to be heard. The music wasn t too loud and it had a relaxed pace. We were a table of 10 and Tristan was our server. He did an amazing job and the food was outstanding.

Got into town really late last night. Joeys across from the hotel and, to be honest, was just glad they were open. Order the burger and salad - expecting just a safe iceberg tomato thing. Wow. Just wow. The house salad is excellent. An explosion of taste and texture. Ambience is just right. Servers are delightful. Highly recommended.

Tristin Hayes is a wonderful server, engaging, and did a great job. Great food presentation, too! The yellowfin tuna salad, farm market salad, and spaghetti pomodoro vegetarian are all delicious. The spaghetti pomodoro entree serving was a bit small, though. Apple pie w/ maple ice cream was a wonderful dessert. Also, the Joey lager was nice- light and crisp. Also, the ambience was excellent.
