101 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 1J9, Canada
Rotating eatery offering refined New Canadian fare & bird's-eye views, plus observation deck access.
My partner & I chose to celebrate our anniversary here, but it was a bit lackluster! Our server was friendly & chatty, but the wait time was ridiculous even with a reservation. My partner loved his food, but my salmon was a bit meh. It was extremely soft & i just prefer crispier salmon. My plate was coated in butter, too, which just wasn't my cup of tea. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks & another group that was seated after us got their drinks & food before us, so we felt kinda dismissed. We were happy we ordered our food & drinks at the same time or we'd probably have waited another 45 minutes for our dinner. We decided against dessert for this reason & are going elsewhere for it. Disappointing place for a anniversary 😑 We love the brunch here but never doing dinner again.
Nice experience but would rather just go for the view next time as the food is not even remarkable. They will keep you waiting at the reception downstairs even if you have reservations so be aware. There is not even a single seating in that area.
After lunch, we ventured here to savour drinks, desserts, and a spectacular view. This revolving restaurant offers a unique 360-degree and above 600 feet perspective on Calgary's downtown area, making our visit truly unforgettable. For desserts, we had devil food cake which was a huge chocolate cake and a cheesecake. We ordered a non alcoholic cocktail Mojito with peach flavour and a green tea. The desserts were alright but the viewing experience was worth it.
Definitely worth the experience! Id say I come here more for the view than for the food. The views are definitely the highlight! The customer service was amazing! We came here to celebrate a birthday and they gave us a candle and a sweet note! Would definitely recommend for special occasions!
Lovely Birthday Celebration My husband took me here for my birthday celebration, and it was a lovely experience. The ambience is absolutely spectacular and perfect for special occasions. The service was top-notch—friendly and attentive throughout the evening. As for the food, it was decent, though not outstanding. The kids' cheeseburger, surprisingly, was really good, and the crispy potato croquettes were also enjoyable. Overall, it was a great evening and a good spot for a celebratory night out!
We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday, and had to wait for our table at least 20 minutes. The staff was unorganized, our sever was friendly and seemed a bit frazzled. She had a lovely personality and did an amazing job. The atmosphere was buzzing and the view was breathtaking. Our food was interesting, the steak was cooked to perfection. The asparagus were a bit tough overall it was a good steak dinner for my mom. The Sky burger is a must! Scallops, pasta and chicken were delicious this place did not disappoint. Absolutely coming back hopefully for brunch.
A very nice experience for a special dinner. We were at the window for our anniversary dinner - spectacular view of the city. I had the Sablefish special, my wife ordered the Striploin. Both were cooked perfect, great flavor, and the sides were okay - the asparagus was chewy, but a minor detail in my view. The croquettes for appetizer were amazing! Server was great, believe her name was Breanne - very attentive, friendly, and informative. Our bill was around 180$ for two mains, one appetizer, and a bottle of wine. Very reasonable, being a more touristy place. We would consider here for another special dinner, as a change as the views were spectacular, and food was great!
Highly recommend Sky360! Despite the heatwave and the numerous windows, the restaurant was cool and comfortable. The restaurant revolves so slowly that any concerns of motion sickness or getting dizzy were put to rest. It took about an hour to complete a whole spin. Our server, Emma, was so lovely and was very attentive to our table and needs as guests. The drinks and food were unreal! To start, we shared the aged cheddar & black truffle fondue to start and wow, was it ever delicious. Having never been before, I had heard the seared pacific scallops were very good so I thought I'd try them... they weren't very good, they were excellent. The views from the tower are also so amazing! Overall, such a lovely experience and worth the price. It was great way to celebrate my birthday with family!
Wonderful view!
Reserved birthday dinner on a weekday. They were not busy, the view is amazing and the place is so cozy. Our server is so polite and friendly. Food looks very nice, but doesnt taste great (just fine) The restaurant dont look that old, still looks modern to me. But overall, still a 5 star
We had a reservation at sky360 in November and weren t able to make it because of the snow storm in Calgary. They allowed us to rebook the reservation to another date before charging us the cancellation fee ($25 per person). When rebooking to a new date we had to change the reservation from 2 people to 3 because we have a 5 month old baby we would be bringing. In the text message confirming the rebooking they advised that should we cancel the original cancellation fee would be applied to the card - $25 per person times 2 based on the original reservation. We weren t able to make our rebooked reservation because we were all sick and would just deal with the $50 charge instead of going. They ended up charging us $75 for cancelling. This is one of the only restaurants in the city that I am aware of that has a cancellation fee and a minimum spend. Would highly suggest going somewhere else if you re thinking about eating out. Many other options in the city that won t charge you for cancelling a reservation should something unforeseen come up.
The server was super sweet and gave us a candle on our dessert for our anniversary
We ordered off the brunch menu with eggs in each plate. The basted eggs we over cooked. The over easy eggs were poorly done. The sausage (maple) were fatty and cold. Bacon was not crisp it was thin and flabby No salt and pepper on the table Atmosphere was dank. They had kitchen stuff stored in the dining area. Won t go back. I would go elsewhere for the cost. Sorry.
A very pleasant and cozy place, the view during the day is wonderful. The food was good, the service was not intrusive, which was very pleasing. Definitely worth going here. The price is not high for such a place.
Came here yesterday with my fiancé to celebrate our anniversary as well as her birthday. Our server was great and very kind to us, she made the night extra special as she brought out candles for our cakes and also a celebration card.
It was a good experience at the sky 360. The view was spectacular. The restaurant rotates in a circle every 70 minutes. We enjoyed the food and Calgary city view at night.
Best place to eat in the city. Quality, Cost and absolutely the best experience with view in all of Calgary
#1 experience in Calgary. Incredible view and every dish is remarkable. Weve tried everything on the menu at this point and it was all excellent
The view was amazing, but only if you will be lucky to sit next to the window, even you will do the booking it s doesn t mean anything, you will be seated in the middle , disappointing! Food was cold and salty. The waitress was sweet! I am not sure if want to visit again or recommend this restaurant to any!
Great restaurant. Great service. Amazing views.
Exceptional and unexpected!! Better than our 7 course - wine paired meal in Banff?!! Cant stop thinking about the glazed AB lamb shoulder with sourdough spaetzle, black kale, eggplant, jus gras. It was perfectly tender, rich deep flavor and so well balanced with the spaetzle and vegetables juices. Plus the 12oz NY striploin with potato puree, grilled broccolini & peppercorn sauce was equally remarkable. The quality of meat, the execution - all impeccable. Server could relax the pace a bit but what a memorable night! .
6/5 stars. Great place to propose. Couldn t be happier
We went for lunch with our 2 kids and 2 other friends, so a total table of 6 people. When we recieved our bills, we had them separated based on our 2 families. We were surprised to see a 20% forced tip on EACH bill even after getting them split. We asked to have the forced tip removed as we didnt know this was a thing. They refused to remove any tip and said they couldnt. The manager said it was 20% for the table, but each party paid a 20% tip. The manager was very confrontational and extremely rude to us and would not hear us out. All he said was its the rules and even walked away while I was still talking to him. This was definitely the worst experience weve experienced in the last 2.5 years.
Fantastic spot for brunch.
Food was great. Server was great. The kids got their food right away which was also great. But the adults food took a long time. One hour and a half to be exact. Our dessert took a long time too to come in. Even paying for our food took a long time. We were there for more than 3 hrs. The kids were so tired and crying at the end because everything took a long time. Would I come back here? Probably for a very special occasion like what we did today. The atmosphere of the place and views may be something Ill come back for.
Another place where the view is stunning but the food is underwhelming.
Our server was Brianna. Very nice. We were celebrating a birthday and lived the views and atmosphere. Also the other waitress who was around was very friendly. We enjoyed the burger and the fondue and of course the amazing city view. Kid-friendliness: Child friendly service and a great treat but not a good place if you have out of control kids who like to run up and down the restaurant. Remember it rotates.
We went here for the first time in a few years. Lots has changed. Going to the restaurant no longer includes access to the top floor/glass floor. We waited over 30 min to get up the elevator. At first our server seemed to be in quite a bad mood however it got better through the night. The food was good but not great. It was probably a 30 min wait for food as well. It was also really cold being by the window. Milestones across the street or Ruths steakhouse would have been better. Probably the only thing to talk about is the rotating view. But for a $200+ bill for mom and 2 elementary aged kids, Im not sure Ill be back. Even for special occasions.
It was our first time to eat at Ruth s. The food was not great as we expected. The appetizers came very fast. One calamari and fondue. Calamari wasn t hot enough. The fondue was tasty with fires but a little salty. Maybe we ordered 6 main courses. It took a long time to get on the table. Our favorite dishes were the lamb shoulder and BBQ chicken. We were disappointed the strip loin and tenderloin, the outside of steak were overcooked. We cute out the edge and ate inside. The dessert was blueberry pie was ok. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Overall, it was a great place to gather the friends and family.
Disappointed and won t be back. We were there for our daughter s 10th birthday at her request. The minute you get off the elevator there s a big hole in the wall and the paint is damaged. Our reservation was for 5:15 but it seemed the kitchen was already behind. Our server was friendly and efficient with the drinks and I don t blame her for the disappointing experience. The only thing my girls were excited about on the menu, the cheese fondue appetizer, was sold out . The calamari came out luke warm and, due to the freezing temperature in the restaurant, and was ice cold before we were halfway through it. We were all uncomfortably cold for the whole meal as well. Our entrees were just burgers and fries and a kids chicken strips and took almost an hour. By the time they arrived we d had enough and ate quickly and left. My daughter didn t even feel like dessert on her birthday because she was as frustrated as my husband and I. This restaurant could be great - the views are spectacular and the rotating floor is cool but it s has fallen into disrepair and the kitchen staff and menu need a huge upgrade.
We enjoyed ourselves however as we dressed up (no jeans) we expected to see no jeans. Our waitress for one wore black jeans! Had a blue bandage on her fingers and when I left her a 15% tip she was not happy. I get better service at the Keg, that s where I will go next time. Sorry our waitress was unprofessional. My chicken dish was good however there was four small pieces of potato with it and it cost $43 dollars. The granddaughters ordered sky burger and fries and a cucumber salad. They said it was delicious. My friend ordered salmon and it looked good but a very small serving.
Great!
We had a really lovely meal while visiting family in Calgary. The food was delicious, especially the salmon. We received great service and the atmosphere was perfect - dim lighting and soft music. And of course the view was fantastic. It was a special night.
We came to this restaurant for dinner with the family. The waitress was very polite and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We mentioned it was a birthday. We ordered pasta, a burger, chicken, and steak. The chicken came with hair in it , and after pointing it out, they immediately took it back and brought a new one about 10 minutes later. In any other restaurant, they would have offered some kind of compensation for such an unpleasant incident, but not here. The food is a 3 out of 5, the overall atmosphere is a 4, and the only thing that stands out is the unique location. We probably wont come back again.
Birthday dinner for the wife, exceptional service and amazing food! Cant beat the views!
Morgan was an absolute delight. Food was great. The view amazing. We went for our anniversary and they were very accommodating.
I visited SKY360 Restaurant for my birthday. I asked the server for recommendations, but was told that since everyone has different tastes, they couldn t offer any. When I chose my dish and asked for a red wine recommendation, I was again told that they couldn t recommend anything because of varying preferences. Great view, though. I would recommend it for a special occasion.
Had a great waiter helped make our special day, super clean fun and the food was top notch. Service was 10 out of 10
If you want something new and different on your first visit to Calgary, this is it. We stopped by after visiting the viewpoint and only had dessert, which was exquisite. The service was excellent and the restaurant moves so you can see the entire city.
That was the most embarrassing moment of my life in Calgary (for 20 years we have been living in Calgary) at Calgary Tower Restaurant. On the 28th of September 2024, we had our reservation for 19:15 for four, for our wonderful person to celebrate her 71 years old Ukrainian lady, who works very hard to wash dishes at a home for elderly people, who left her country with her daughter because of the war. We came at 18:30 hoping to have some time to go upstairs to take a few pictures of our wonderful friend with white roses we brought, but because of the just one working elevator, we managed to get to the restaurant at 19:00, that is ok, no problem, we were happy, even though we got a card before the elevetor with the time, from 7:15 to 9 :15, handed to us. We didnt pay attention, I didnt, should, but my fault! We came to the table, eventually, made an order, 4 glasses of wine, two beef $60+$60 and two scallops dishes $40+40, and then we asked, how much time do we have until dishes arrived? We wanted to go upstairs to take a few pictures of our wonderful friend, we were told, that we have to pay $11 for person to go upstairs and wait 20 minutes for dishes to be ready, we were surprised, but whatever, its our friends birthday. We went upstairs , wonderful time, took pictures were called back, happy, we were eating our dinners, and suddenly filipinow girl came to our table saying, that we have 5 min to leave, at that time our friend still had scallops on her plate. Guess what? We asked for a check, our friend frustrated gave up her scallops and we saw that tips %18, no less really?. By the way we brought huge white roses with a vase! I am so sorry to my friend! Never ever I will allow that again, never ever I will invite her to that restaurant, shame on you! Shame on you!
Super fun experience, definitely something different! We ordered a few meals for the table and everything was fantastic, aside from the coconut rice pudding which was very artificial. Also for my motion sickness girlies I get dizzy riding an escalator and I was completely fine, everything moves with you except for the outer wall/windows and its at a snails pace (about 1 rotation an hour).
Fine dining experience at the spinning restaurant. It feels awkward in the eyes but you adapt to it pretty quick. Food is immaculate. Had the lamb cut dish it was cooked in beautiful medium setting. Soft and tender cooked right, texture is pleasant. It s not cheap. Service though, needs bit of work. My partner still had dishes in front, server just took it away without saying nothing. Not very attentive as well. I recommend to tip accordingly correspondence with service they provide. Server was awful. Vegetarian options: Not much but salad options are luxurious and great. Dietary restrictions: Dessert wise, lactose intolerant Parking: Its in heart of downtown. Hard to find parking. Parked on streets and used elevator to go up Kid-friendliness: Kids are interested in spinning dome restaurant. Food will keep them mature. Kids option in menus Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair good. Take elevator, there are no real stairs in order to dine
Food was underwhelming. Average taste yet expensive for what it was. Service was fantastic though, they even gave me a birthday card, so sweet! The views change throughout your whole meal as the restaurant revolves. We went just before 7, leaving around 8:30. It would have been nice if it was child-free at this time as it stated online though, as we did have an infant crying for the last half hour of the meal. Usually this wouldnt bother us but the restaurant is small and round, sound travels well and we found it difficult to talk at some points.
Excellent place!! Bryan took great care of us!!
Food was good but not worth the price The view was great The staff was nice The place was loud and buzzing. (Cheesecake is not really a cheesecake)
The steak was on point!!! The service is awesome and the views are stunning!!! Parking: You have to go and find parking.
Atmosphere is very enjoyable especially at sunset. The food was very yummy too, just really expensive.
Beautiful view and great food and service but got loud around 7 pm and there were so many kids! Leave your kids at home people! Leave some nice places to eat kidfree so the rest of us can enjoy!
Many sofas in the restaurant are in satisfactory condition. We ordered a burger and a salad; the general impression is not very good. The cutlet was overcooked and black, and the classic caesar salad consisted of two types of lettuce and some slices of cheese and croutons( There were not even gloves or napkins for the burger, the waiter did not resolve this situation(((
Waited for the worst seats in the house with a table between us and the window so there was no view. Was told there would be no guarantee of being able to move to another table so decided to leave. We were charged a late cancelation fee for leaving. Utterly terrible experience. Dont waste your time with this restaurant. Manager was not even apologetic but instead rather smug about charging money for nothing. Poor experience all round. EDIT: for anyone else facing the same experience I had, the late cancelation fee can be disputed with your bank or CC company and will likely get refunded. Mine did when I quoted this restaurants web page. Sky 360 PROMISES panoramic views... Glad to see the bank held them to their promise. Still far easier to just avoid this restaurant altogether though, which Id strongly advise.
Food is not good Waiting too long The view 5/5 though Food : 1/5
I ve been there with my Boyfriend, service was terrible, We were received in an unpleasant manner, we canceled the order and left.
Delicious food and great view, especially with the sun set
Morgan is amazing waitress loved our visit
Weve been here before and the food, service and experience was delightful. HOWEVER, we were in Calgary a few weeks ago and couldnt decide on dinner and decided to go to Sky360 again - we tried to call and they dont have a phoneline just an automated voice message. So we drove all the way there, paid for parking, walked over and went to the front desk. There was a Caucasian girl with a European accent sitting at the desk on her phone. She looked up and we asked to get a table and very abruptly she said theres a private event and went back to her phone. In shock we stood there and then asked about a menu item and she shrugged and said I dont know you have to ask the server, and went back to her phone. We asked again and informed her that we that we were thinking of coming back the next day but wanted to know if she could at least find out if a certain dish was vegetarian. She looked at us blankly and reiterated that we need to ask the server. I told her that would mean that we would have to come all the way back, pay for parking again, get our baby ready and back into her crib, walk over, go up, and then ask the server - to be maybe told that the dish we were asking about would not be vegetarian. She again looked at us blankly and said youll have to ask your server. In awe we turned around and walked away. It was quite the damper for us to get treated like this from someone who is the first impression of this business. That being said, why is it so difficult to have a phone line to speak to the restaurant? I understand the convenience of mobile reservations, but in our case we simply had a question about the menu. All the other high end even revolving restaurants have a phone line....
We had our reservation for dinner almost near to 10PM. We ordered our drinks and mains with a small plate. For drinks we took a bellini with calamari , for mains we took rigatoni with butter poached shrimp and a BBQ AB chicken. The price was decent considering the experience and quality of food. The service was not satisfactory at all. We wanted to order more food ( we drove all the way from edmonton for dinner) but the waiter never mentioned the kitchen closed at 10.30 , when we called for order we were mentioned then. We ended with a dessert instead. Service 5/10 Food 9/10 Ambience 10/10
Look up Look waaaaaaay up ... then when your in this exceptional dining area you will sit and watch a 360 view of the beautiful city of Calgary as the restaurant rotates .... be dazzle by so many ultra delicious items on the menu to choose from ... to name a few the 6oz steak , lamb, wow... fancy drinks also .... go as a group like we did with 11 our family or have a romantic evening with someone special its gorgeous
Great views. Awful service. Worse food. Just do the observatory.
Beautiful environment, breathtaking view with the rotating platform. Very courteous and attentive service. Mediocre food.
We booked a table for my birthday on an ordinary Wednesday at noon. The restaurant was practically empty, with just one other family present, so we had the place to ourselves. It was a pleasant and private lunch with an amazing view of the city. I had a hard first 10 minutes getting used to the restaurant spinning and was about to leave because I couldn t stop feeling dizzy. However, after about 10 minutes, my eyes adjusted to the movement, and I was able to enjoy the experience. The waiter was incredibly polite and friendly, doing an outstanding job serving us and offering great tips for the dessert menu. This was our first time here, but it definitely won t be our last. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience with stunning views!
You need to reserve a place in advance. We arrived, the blonde girl at the reception said that we could go further, but at the elevator we were asked about the map that we had to give at the reception, we returned there again. Calamari in batter is delicious, steak is delicious, and potatoes with sea scallops are terrible. Burnt, bitter, horror. Lemonade is delicious
One of the most beautiful buildings for its time
A little pricey but it is a tourist place so it makes sense
Had the best-est birthday dinner at the Sky360! We enjoyed the view of the Calgary skyline.
The restaurant is situated in a perfect location, offering an experience thats as much about the view as it is about the food. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a striking red-haired hostess who graciously found me a table, despite not having a reservation. The view from the window is nothing short of breathtaking towering skyscrapers stand like majestic sequoias, and you feel as if you re perched atop one, gazing out over a forest of stone giants. The table setting differs from the European style. For instance, the bread plate is placed to the right, though holding bread in your left hand feels more intuitive, freeing up the right for handling a knife or fork. These small quirks, while noticeable to a perfectionists eye, are easily forgiven thanks to the polite and welcoming service. The waiter, attentive and kind, promptly poured water as I settled in. As for the food, its generally good. The crispy calamari, served with a yogurt sauce and sweet paprika sliced into delicate rings, pairs beautifully with J Wilkes Pinot Blanc (Santa Maria Valley, California) from 2020 a year when planes were grounded, production paused, and the sun poured its energy into the vineyards. The Parmas ham, served with pickled melon and drizzled with fragrant green oil, was excellent. When I asked the server what herbs and spices were used in the oil, he couldn t quite specify, and even after checking with the kitchen, the ingredients remained a mystery. But let s get back to the highlights: the focaccia was a revelation. Forget the usual; this one was fluffy a delightful break from tradition. The Canadian cheese, a soft curd-like variety, melted seamlessly across the surface, slowly dissolving in the warmth of the oven and then vanishing on my tongue, leaving behind a sense of satisfaction. The dessert was incredible, but the bread left a bit to be desired perhaps the bitterness came from the use of buckwheat flour. I lingered for over two hours, soaking in the rays of the setting sun as they gently caressed the rooftops and walls, much like a lover s touch before parting tender, urgent, and inevitable, knowing that this moment would be the last for the day. I highly recommend this place for its stunning view and heartfelt service.
A visit to this spot in Calgary is a must-see. It offers a panoramic view of the entire city. Interestingly, Calgary now boasts higher buildings than the Calgary Tower itself. While the view from the tower is spectacular, it can be quite crowded.
Spent my birthday there for the first time, amazing service, fantastic view, and the music was just right!
My family and I had a lovely time for lunch at the tower. The service from our server Jamie was excellent and he was very personable and genuine. We shared entrées to keep our overall cost down and it was plenty of food for lunch even with sharing.
Food was amazing, the staff was prompt and pleasant, and I loved the view. Will definitely go again.
We had a lovely evening and dinner. The scallops, Gnocchi, and asparagus dish was awesome. Our server was friendly and efficient and the views were fabulous. Definitely make a trip to the observation deck after dinner.
Starting on good note ! Food is good .. well served ( on time). It s delicious and tasty! Staff is friendly! Ambience is nice ( specially when there is transition from evening to night) . Beautiful overview ! But FYI :- they dnt have any direct customer / front counter calling system! That means if you want to book or have query you can do it online! In our case, they asked for credit card details .. ( while booking online) and it failed to accept! The attempt to send am email , contact via instagram and SMS failed drastically . Since no one reverted response ! So had to go personally on counter to do booking! And please note - there washrooms are not as good ( as one can expect)! So this is it! Kid-friendliness: They got kids menu with good options ! Also it is available till 8 pm
Its probably the best way to see Calgary from above. Great food and service.
I love going here. Ok I ve only been here twice, but I reminisce about this place in my head, so it feels like a lot more times . The food is amazing and the views of the city are on point! I have done a day and night visit and it just doesn t get old. I highly recommend you check it out. The food is affordable and I think reasonably priced for such a fancy location/view.
Steve gave us the best service ever Great food Great experience Food : 5/5
Great view, quality of food and menu variety is not as high as I would expect from a restaurant of this type, but the service is excellent. A bit pricey, but it is expected from such a unique location.
Thanks for the great food. We really appreciate the time we spent in this restaurant.
The food itself isn t bad, but be cautious with your bill. They automatically add the tip without informing you. You ll need to check the menu for this. Afterward, they provide a payment machine where you can add an additional tip. If you re not attentive, you might end up double-tipping.
Thanks Brianna for your service
A great restaurant with wonderful views as you rotate 360 degrees during dinner. The rotation is slow and hardly noticeable bit the changing views are wonderful
Unfortunately, the visibility was very cloudy due to the forest fires, but we still had a very nice evening. Kimberly was extremely friendly with a natural manner and even loaned us two shirts as it was quite cold - thank you! The food was excellent, especially the tenderloin with shrimp was awesome :-) Gluten-free dishes were not marked on the menu, but we received competent information.
Simply incredible, very good food.
Great view from the windows, especially in the evening the atmosphere was lovely, the food also was good but expensive, above all the personal was rude and arrogant.
Is not halal food
Sky 360 was an amazing date night!! We had been wanting to come here for a while and had been worried that it would possibly be to touristy but the food was totally worth it. I had the Seared Pacific Scallops and the Devils Food Cake. My partner had the Roasted Icelandic Cod and the Basque Cheesecake. Everything was a amazing! While I first thought that the quantity was not worth the price tag at the end of my meal I was absolutely stuffed and had to have half of my cake packed up. The scallops were incredibly buttery and paired incredibly well with the chickpeas. The devils food cake reminded me a lot of black forest cake with the raspberry but was soooo much better than your average black forest cake. The cake was extremely rich and sweet but not in an overpowering way. I absolutely loved my meal! The staff was lovely! The bar was backed up while we were there and the staff was so kind about us and consistently updated us (on that note my margarita was delicious). Generally everyone was amazing and made our night even better!
The Service received is the worst ever!!! Gosh I made a reservation with notification received and I was refused access . This was obviously their error and yet myself and my family was made to wait another 2hrs for an error committed by them!!!! They don t even deserve a star
For the view
Loved this place! We had an dinner full of exquisite foods from steaks, fishes, and steak tartare. Our service provider, Gracie was an amazing person who had helped us choose delicious dishes and desserts and was really helpful! Would definitely recommend people to come here for the VIEW of the city and the food, which again was amazing! Kid-friendliness: Any kid could eat the food!
Even before going to the restaurant you get a shocking RUDE response through text message for modifying a reservation 1.5 hours before the reservation time. Due to short notice we will charge you 25$ per person the worst part is you can reserve online but CANNOT modify or cancel through online, you will need to call and get a number over the IVR and then ONLY TEXT them to modify/cancel ..pathetic and you get this.,,More shocking and unkind response followed that saying that I am not allowed to modify or cancel the modified reservation and will be charged 25$ per person (3 are kids). How ridiculous is this. Which restaurant in the city has the authority I cannot cancel or modify the reservation? I guess bad choice for a family dinner. Very very unpleasant customer experience.
Food and view was great. Great service and quick
When we arrived, the girl at the front desk at the 360 restaurant was not friendly. However, the server Matthew was very nice and polite. Overall a cool place except for the hair In our focaccia bread. Didn t even offer the bread for free because of the hair.
Amazing place to eat , funny ! Food is good , service is excellent! Just dessert aren t at the same level than main course. Go for this experience without any doubts ! Food
The food is pretty good but the atmosphere is amazing. We were in Calgary for a few days and this was one our favorite experiences! Beautiful views of the city from the rotating restaurant and our server, Matthew, was able to answer questions about the menu as well as the sights.
Thé place is definately beautiful and I have dined here before with no issues but this week was a total miss as I had made reservations but as soon as we sat down one of our guests fell I ll, we told the waitress we are leaving. The resto still charged me 100$ as of it was a no show. I understand business but not it ignores all human decency
The service was bad, food was not that good and the dessert they served us were messy. The washroom was dirty and stinks, garbage was over flowing.
The lamb and Arctic char where amazing
We came here a few times before the food was average and the view was great. This is our first time trying the brunch. There are very limited options on the menu and the food is a bit disappointing.
Loved the ambience and the view. Value for money and quantity less
Everything was perfect. We arrived at 6pm for our reservation and were seated promptly. The view was absolutely amazing. The drinks were great; my husband and I loved our smoked old fashioneds. The food was delicious. Our server Kimberly was the best! She was funny, attentive, and made great recommendations. I will definitely eat there again and ask for Kimberly!
Made a reservation here on my last day in Calgary with my brother and sister-in-law. We have not been to a revolving restaurant, so we did not know what to expect. It was beautiful! Definitely a must to experience and visit when you are on Calgary. Price is a little high as expected but the food was great. We ordered Sky Burger, the NY striploin, some drinks, and dessert. I think for the price that we paid, the portions were huge. We were so full when we were done. Will come back here the next time I visit my brother and sister-in-law in Calgary.
I wouldn t recommend going here if you have any food allergies or with a larger party or with any children. Since we had a larger party (big enough that it forced gratuity) our server was completely checked out! Any time we had a question he just said no- wouldn t even check with the kitchen or bar and he did so with such apathy I wasn t even sure this man was alive. We couldn t get our waters filled and we needed them filled it was SO HOT in there I think their air conditioning was broken. Also he did an absolutely terrible job addressing our allergy. My daughter ended up barfing on the floor because she ended up eating a burger patty with cheese on it even though she currently has a milk protein allergy which he was informed of. Luckily she does not have an anaphylactic allergy but only gets pretty serious GI symptoms (hence the barfing on the floor) They also don t have a change table in their bathroom! I had to be escorted to the upstairs to use their change table which was actually just a longer section of a marble countertop that worked as a change table but I don t think it actually was. The man taking the tickets was on such a power trip he didn t even wanna let us go use the change table without a ticket and told the STAFF OF THE RESTAURANT who at least had the decency to bring me up there I better be seeing you back here really soon . Also their menu items say they can accommodate dairy free options for all their meals but their suggestion to make the beef dip dairy free was to lettuce wrap a BEEF DIP!! Can you imagine trying to pick up lettuce wrapped sliced beef and trying to DIP IT?!? I ended up choosing the burger lettuce wrapped and it wasn t even wrapped! Just two sad pieces of lettuce on either side of the burger. I was unable eat it with my hands because the single piece of lettuce literally looked like cooked spinach from the heat of the patty. They did not even use a heartier type of lettuce like iceberg. It was a single slice of butter lettuce! 1 star for food for the dessert, it was actually good, 0 stars for service and a single star for atmosphere because the views are amazing but also their bathrooms are only accessible by stairs or else you can also take the elevator up and the same bathroom upstairs with the change table and the crusty old man with the power trip will probably give you a hard time for daring to come upstairs without a ticket, even though the bathroom downstairs isn t accessible to you.
Had a nice lunch, the food and drinks were great and good service too! I gave a 4 start just because we paid to have lunch (not cheap) and still had to pay to see the viewing deck. We did get 50% off that price, but it was still $25.00 to pretty much see the same thing from Sky 360 with just a few more information boards. I think this cost should have been included when customers have a meal in the restaurant. Other than that it was a nice experience.
We requested just the Hamburger, and it was great. Our server was professional, kind, and empathic. 10/10.
Characteristic place with a restaurant that rotates giving you a 360 degree view of the city Good food
Rude Service: One waitress displayed overtly racist behavior towards my friend, who does not eat pork, leading to an uncomfortable and unpleasant dining experience. Poor Customer Service: When we requested our leftovers to be boxed, the waitress ignored me the first time and, despite acknowledging the request the second time, never returned. A senior waiter eventually assisted us. Promise of Refund: The senior waiter gave us the general manager s card, who promised a full refund over the phone. However, in subsequent emails, he retracted this offer, instead offering a 15% refund and a $50 gift card on a total bill of $175, which I find unacceptable. Communication Details: Initial Request for Refund: The refund was promised during a phone call with the general manager (name not provided) immediately after our visit. Follow-Up Communication: Despite the verbal promise, the manager later offered only a partial refund via email.
Nice view, mediocre food Unfortunately its getting a bit old, a little modern refreshment would do the restaurant some good. Had the lamb, which was a huge disappointment. Very fatty and very strong in taste, which suggests mutton. I would have expected more for the money. Ordered food was forgotten. The starters were quite good. One advantage is that you save $22 per person for entry to the tower Kid-friendliness: Kids menu for $20
It took them an hour and 15 minutes for them to bring our food and 20 minutes to bring the check. And it wasn t worth it. Would not recommend just to have a view while eating.
We had read all of the comments written about poor service recently but all staff we met were polite and efficient. Big shout out to Jamie our server who was excellent and informative about the Calgary skyline. The food was excellent however I think the policy that you cannot exchange vegetables is a little harsh. The views from the restaurant are good and allow you to get a clear view of Calgary.
Food was below expectation for the price. Bacon on salad inedible it was hard. Service was ok
It was good
Food was really good served by wonderful people
Nice but very expensive
This is our first visit to Sky 360 here in Calgary (with my brother-in-law and his family), though my wife and I, together with my family, have previously experienced Orbit Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand. I must say, we favor Calgarys Sky 360 because the meals were delightful and the staff welcomed us warmly and courteously embodying typical Canadian hospitality. Special thanks to the lovely Japanese lady (Miyuki??) who looked after us!! Her nature oozes wonderful! We hope to visit again!!
Love, love, love the whole experience...I go often. Good food, great views....
Mediocre food paired with a great view. Parking? No validation. Going to the viewing deck using your own legs to climb the single flight of stairs? 50% discount.
Great server. One star solely for the rude restaurant and manager. Tone and communication: every restaurant has there rules and such, and entirely the right of the establishment. This wasn t being firm, it was plain rude. Food
We travelled from Australia and booked a restaurant reservation. We had two small children with us also. We were not able to enter the observation desk a little bit early and the front desk person was horribly rude. When we asked to use the toilets we were told we have to wait. The price for food is very expensive I m not sure why they don t allow us to look out the observation desk prior to our meal for a few photos. It wasn t even that busy. I will be telling anyone else coming to Calgary to skip the tower as they clearly don t know how to treat tourists properly. The staff were so so rude
Unfortunately, the price does not at all correspond to the quality of the food. We ordered some of the most expensive dishes: scallops with gnocchi and asparagus and fish and mashed potatoes for dinner, as well as 2 cocktails. The gnocchi tasted like instant mashed potatoes in powder, the mashed potatoes and fish were over-salted, there were huge salt crystals in the fish that crunched on your teeth. Service is ok, nothing special. But the view is incredible, thats for sure. Judging by the reviews, they have good desserts, so I advise you not to spend money on something more serious
Love this place ! Food was amazing and the view was spectacular !
Finely curated menu, that keeps getting a refresh a couple of times a year. Makes it worth visiting just to try the new line up. The view is a big bonus.
Views were amazing and the servers were great! We came for drinks and dessert. Wish they would have more vegan options
Was packed in there first thing in the morning, wait until mid afternoon for best experience, very loud in there.
I had the tenderloin, which was excellent! Parking: Skt360 does NOT validate parking. Food : 5/5 |
Bad doesn t even begin to describe the food here. Fancy plating and pretentious wording doesn t make up for horrible execution. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is top notch. But the quality of food is sub par in comparison to other spots in the city. The expectation of a delicious high quality meal is not on par with the price point. If you are looking for amazing views of the city you are better off ordering a couple of drinks and calling it a day.
Celebrated an anniversary here it was a wonderful experience. Our server Emma was very nice and on top of things. The food was mostly great. The truffle fries were delicious and the steak was cooked as asked. But for the bbq chicken it was just alright. The atmosphere is also very great. Overall great experience, would come back and highly recommend.
It wouldve been appropriate for Sky360 to have posted a NO TRESPASSING sign for the elderly and handicapped. At the front door of this restaurant. There is nowhere to sit in the main foyer, or mall area. One customer shoved his way in front of my handicapped girlfriend and I. Coming back from the empty (and understandably) vacant mall. We were making our way to the tower elevator lobby. The same family was standing there like cattle (spead out completely obstructing the hallway). I said excuse me several times. The staff saw us struggling to get by, and said nothing. Once in the elevator lobby. We noticed that there were crowd dividers there (unlike the hallway area). I waited until the hostess finished pretending to serve the people in front of us. I informed her that there is nowhere to sit outside the elevator lobby, and we have reservations to eat at the tower. My girlfriend is very obviously handicapped. As she cant walk without the assistance of a walker or a cane. She has a limp to her walk, and a scar that extends from mid thigh to mid shin. Which the hostess apparently failed to notice. The hostess waited for the perfect customers with no signs of mobility issues, to exit the lobby via elevator. Before asking us if she could ask us to wait on the other side of the lobby. As if I had said nothing. She was very exasperated and unsympathetic in her tone. The manager was busy assisting more important people than us. We left without doing any business with with this glorified hotdog stand. If you have any mobility issues. Dont come here. There are no provisions for you. You are simply not welcome!
Super cool atmosphere and fantastic service. The BBQ chicken was so delicious!
Perfect place for a date. If you are non vegetarian you have more options. Good plating is awesome but the food taste is average. The restaurant is all about the location itself. Amazing view!
If i could give a lower star I would, the service was poor, it was really crowded, the people at the front desk were rude and bullish, dint care if you were okay or not, the restaurant is old and dated.. wanted to have a romantic dinner? (Not the place) would not recommend.. need to train the front desk staff more.. hospitality goes a long way, would not be returning
Terrible service, we came to celebrate and we came out feeling so unhappy. The waitress was so rude and her supervisor too. It is such a pity to have this terrible service in such a lovely view!!!!!
We were looking forward to celebrating my son s graduation today over there but unfortunately our experience there was very frustrating! Our waitress was totally impolite and unprofessional and the worst is her supervisor or manager who has been hostile to us. We went there aiming at spending a great time but unfortunately they managed to destroy our evening completely. Food was average . The view was glamorous, what a pity of wasting this privilege with such unprofessional personals !!
Its such a beautiful place! Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. I recommend it! Food
Their angus beef strip loin I ordered seemed to be a little bit overcooked for a medium well as per request. It looked almost same to their well done which my friend ordered. Our server seemed to be rushing us out . We were there for 8:45 dinner. Our server was clearing up on my left side her arm almost brushing to my face. My visiting friends said she was rude. Wheelchair accessibility: For a regular manual wheelchair it can be not sure for powered chair as the tables are too close to others
We went up for brunch and it was awesome! Amazing views and tasty food!
I dont usually leave reviews but I feel like it would be good for the admin and staff to be aware of how our dining experience yesterday went. There were 5 of us we had reservation at 7pm. We arrived at the tower at 6:50pm however due to elevator issues (only one elevator was working that night) we were seated by 7:25. We gave our orders between 7:30-7:40. Our appetizers arrived at 8 and while my company enjoyed catching up over drinks and small bites, we got a little concerned that our main courses were taking too long to arrive. The restaurant wasnt full at the time - 3 tables near us were empty. We got really curious when the group beside us, who arrived later, were served their mains first. By 8:45, I had to walk to the front desk to follow up on our orders. Within 2 minutes, our mains were served. For appetizers, we ordered the fries with truffle dip, home-made focaccia and fried calamari. For our mains, we ordered the 12oz sirloin, sky burger, seared scallops and a salad - all of which were delicious. I have eaten twice at this restaurant before so I knew that the food was good but the price was higher compared to many restaurants because of the view, ambience and (supposedly) service. Our food last night was good but it was the service that really turned as off.
This is the best place to eat in Calgary. I would come here just for the views, but the food and service are top notch, as well. Wait staff are so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Kid-friendliness: I saw families eating there who were also having a great time. I definitely enjoyed seeing the kids reactions to the views and the kind/funny wait staff.
Lovely atmosphere. We didnt catch the sunset though. Superb service. Love the arctic char.
Went for brunch, excellent experience overall. Food was awesome, i recommend the mushroom egg dish. Service was great but food took a bit longer than it should for eggs. Atmosphere is fantastic, awesome 360 views of calgary and the mountains.
From the get-go in arranging for our event, Nasser was most helpful and professional in helping me and my wife coordinate and plan for our event. He coordinated with his staff all our requirements, including the very nice personalized menu for our event. On the day of the event, all 31 of us were treated to a wonderful atmosphere for this event. The staff were awesome and very professionally accommodating. More impressive was the way they handled our orders. Nothing was missed, and most of all, there was not even a long wait for the food. It contributed to a very memorable and enjoyable milestone event for everyone. This place is highly recommended if you plan to have an event as what we had.
It was my first time there and I enjoyed it I loved it food was excellent service was excellent
The view is amazing, the waiter was really friendly. I thought this was a fancy high end restaurant (the price indicates that) but the decor is in need of a refresh as well as the food. I think it s supposed to be French inspired but the chef obviously isn t (French terms on the menu did not coincide with the food). The worst food I ve had out in a long time. Avoid the Arctic Char it was NASTY, frozen bag French fries (why fries anyways?), dirty glasses, slow bar. I think this place was great / could be great but needs a professional revamp across the board.
Delicious food, wonderful service. Dietary restrictions: Amazing gf options Food : 5/5 |
The server was okay but the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing! The food was cold and took a while to get to us. The steak was also pre-cut, which defeats the purpose of paying for a top quality steak. For the price, you would hope for high class food, amazing quality and unfortunately we received nothing of the sort. The elevator was also disappointing in how long it took. ALSO the tower viewing is no longer included with the price of dinner. For the price you pay this place is not worth it. The experience is lacklustre and you can get the same quality for less elsewhere.
My friend took me here during my visit to Calgary, we had an amazing girls night out! This was my first time at a revolving restaurant and I had a fabulous experience. It revolves really slow and you get a 360 view without leaving your seat. The food was decent too (except the eggplant). The chocolate cake is the best thing I had there, highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Mushrooms, fries, vegetarian rigatoni
We loved hosting our work event at Sky360! Our guests enjoyed the experience, food, and service. Emily and Bill were extremely attentive, patient, and so kind to our large party of 45. We cannot thank them enough!
This was my first time visiting both the tower and the restaurant. Everything was just fantastic! The drinks are so delicious, the food... WOW!! Very worth the prices, which arent all that bad! The ambiance and experience alone are beyond worth it!! But definitely the food will bring me back! And the wonderful service. I highly recommend!
Experience was pleasant, but the Sky360 is kind of overrated, to be honest.
Good atmosphere and nice night view As for food...if you choose well, there is some incredibly delicious food. I wish the restaurant rotated a little more slowly haha.
Decent place to dine, waitress was extremely nice. View is amazing, which I kind of expected. But I didn t expect that food is that good. Definitely would recommend to visit Vegetarian options: Eggplant main meal was great!
What an incredible dining experience at Sky 360 in the Calgary Tower! Our small group was absolutely delighted by the slowly rotating view, which added a magical touch to our evening. The cuisine was nothing short of outstanding every dish was delicious and perfectly presented. The unique combination of breathtaking views and exquisite meals made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommend for a special dining experience in Calgary! Kid-friendliness: They kindly accommodated a high chair for our 18th month old in part of our group. We can see multiple families dinning. Very cool family experience!
good restaurant, great view of the city, very tasty food)))
The food was good. The steak was amazing in fact. The service was good. Overall it was a nice meal. The atmosphere is really cool. Great views and fun to spin around. Youre paying a premium price for the spin around. I wish the viewing deck was included with the reservation. After paying a premium for the meal they could let you wander upstairs for 10 minutes for free instead of it being an extra charge.
Have an awkward experience, have visited this place couple of times but surprised that a group of persons could reserve almost half of the space for private reunion, all standing, music and talking loud most of the time, it kills the atmosphere of a place like this ment for romantic or private dinners, love the place definitely will go back, food is great and service as well. Parking: Parking lot is very confusing signs too small on the spots some reserved have to explore a bit to find a spot
Nice views, but food can be better. Views are amazing, but to fully enjoy it, you must obtain a window side table, which they cannot guarantee at the reservation. We had the straciatella and the prosciutto as starters, which were pretty good. As mains we had the lamb and the scallops. Both were a bit disappointing. Scallops were overdone and the lamb was too salty.
We had such a great evening dining in the restaurant - the food was excellent and our waitress Makenzie was so super nice and attentive! Beautiful views and the fact that its turning slowly makes this a special restaurant! Food
Great view, good service, and the food tasted great. I highly recommend the new BBQ Chicken, the cucumber salad, and the cheesecake of the day had a nice citrus flavor. Prices seemed fairly reasonable to the other downtown restaurants but the view is much better than any of the surrounding places. Make a reservation as they seem to not be able to accommodate walk up reservations.
Very cool views eating in the tower. Spins at a good speed you will notice. The beef tartar, duck, potato, and carrots were all great. Every Calgarian should experience this place at least once.
- The view and ambiance are nice. - Less than average food. - Overpriced. I have seen better service and menu items for way less.
Food was excellent and cooked perfectly. The experience was great. Celebrated Easter with my kids.
Nice experience, although food wasn t great. I might give it another try.
A decent place for a special night. The view was great and the food is acceptable
Fancy! Cleaner washroom pls to compliment the view.
The place needs a little up keep. Place is fancy but I guess they do need a regular cleaning of their carpet floors, under our table was messy and dirty obviously with ages of unkept floors. ( We were the first once let in on a Friday night and we were nicely seated by the staff) There is not enough food choices. There should be at least 2-3 choices on a certain Meat menu etc
I love the steak The view and the atmosphere was fantastic, the revolving restaurant was amazing, you will not feel diziness since it will revolve slowly. The staff kimberly was the one who servers us, which did not fail to ask if we were Ok or how was the first bite. I cant say any negative because our stay was fabulous.Kudos to Sky 360
Great views and food is delicious!
The ambiance was captivating, offering breathtaking panoramic views that set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring every need was met with grace and professionalism. Star of the show the salmon. It was an absolute masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, the salmon melted in my mouth with each flavorful bite. The presentation was impeccable, showcasing the chefs skill and attention to detail. Paired with delightful accompaniments, every element of the dish harmonized flawlessly, leaving me craving more. Sky 360 truly sets the bar high for culinary excellence. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a dining adventure.
We were there to celebrate the birthday of a relative from the UK and all 9 of us were very pleased with our meals. Our server was wonderful and left us wanting for nothing.
Ratio food vs price was good since the view is included in the experience. Food in itself was ok, nothing fancy. Went for dinner, was sunny and the view was perfect.
We wouldnt know. Us and another group were turned away by an employee of the tower, but not the restaurant. She didnt understand we wanted to make the restaurant by 9. The restaurant closes at 10, not 9, and I almost, ALMOST, paid for a reservation to reserve our 9pm spot... but would have been turned away? Uh-uh. $25 to hold a reservation and I would have lost it. One night in Calgary and she ruined that experience with her horrendous attitude. I wanted to dine at the restaurant. The restaurant was open. Who cares about the tower tour thing?Boooooo! Recommend making it easy to figure out how to get to the restaurant and hiring more helpful employees.
Its not a safe place to eat. PLASTIC IN FOOD! Went there for my wifes birthday dinner. I ordered the 12oz steak with Oscar sauce as my main. When eating, I noticed something not right and pulled a about a half inch piece of plastic out of my mouth. It looked like a cracked edge to a plastic container that was in the Oscar cream sauce. Called over the waitress, and she took it away, and shortly after, the manager came by apologized and offered a discount. He didnt seem that concerned when I told him that this was a choking hazard and there would have been no chance the medics to have got here in time if I had swallowed it. They took $12 off my meal which when talking life and death, the discount means nothing. I normally say in my reviews that it is up to you. Sometimes, it is just a bad service. But this, their quality checks in the kitchen is not there, and I strongly do not advise going here for safety reasons.
Great experience. This is a must see experience for everybody who visits Calgary. Reservation is recommended. Just follow the instruction on their web site.
Thank you to our server, Emilie. The entrees were so good and filling that we didnt want dessert. However, she treated us to ice cream with a candle and card to celebrate our anniversary! What a sweetheart!
Very good experience, the view is spectacular, the food is good and the service excellent, fair prices
