5 stars means outstanding and this place really is! We always have such an amazing time and all dietary needs leave full and happy. Our server was also just lovely! Ive been many times and will be back many more! A true Calgary Gem Vegetarian options: All the veggie dishes are vegetarian and most can be made vegan. The cabbage is a big favorite Dietary restrictions: Our group usually several dietary restrictions from gluten free to vegan and everyone is treated very professionally and made to feel welcome!!!

The food is undoubtedly excellent delicious and well-prepared but I felt extremely rushed. We were asked every five minutes if we had finished. We had two appetizers, pasta, and a main dish all served and cleared within 40 minutes. It was hard to enjoy such great food at that pace. Slowing things down would make the experience much better.

The food was bland, the only chicken and steak dishes that they have both came with the same red sauce.

I came down to try this bucket lister for the first time last night. We enjoyed the food, the space and service during our visit. The seating in the front section was definitely easier to hear each other compared to the back. We heard others comment on the volume in the back section of the restaurant as well. Unfortunately the waitress (who was lovely during the evening) mischarged us for a $64 bottle of wine we did not drink. We caught the mistake when we got home. We dont live close by any means and it was a big outting for busy moms. I called back before the evening was done and spoke to a manager who apologized and said I can get a refund for that bottle but would have to physically be back in person to do so. It was a big inconvenience for very finite and precious time as of a mom 3 to come back for the refund. I was definitely very frustrated that there was zero compensation for the error or for the time needed to return out of my day with kids in tow. So definitely disappointed purely on the customer service front that there was also no reference to the fact we tipped fully on a false bill over $200 that was as well wasnt noted. So if all goes well, the place is great but if things dont quite align, Im not so fast to return in the future.

Had lunch here today. This is quite possibly the best restaurant Ive ever been to. We had the cauliflower and potatoes as appetizers and cacio e pepe and salmon for our mains.The food was all phenomenal and our server was attentive and gave us great suggestions on what wed like. I very rarely eat all my food at a restaurant let alone more than 1 plate but all of the food was so well portioned and flavourful. My girlfriend and I each ate half of each plate. We even had dessert, which I never do, my girlfriend usually orders it and I have one bite and she eats the rest but we got he butterscotch pudding, i took one bite and ate most of it. It is INSANE, highly recommend. The whole experience was A plus. Will definitely be back next time were in the city. I would drive the 2 hours just to go here again and again.

We are three people and ordered 6 items. Every dish was delicious. We all agree that the cauliflower is 10/10 and you must order it if you come here. The server was friendly and observant which we never had to pour our own water or wine. The restaurant is very busy so it could be quite loud and noisy. Overall I recommend this restaurant.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night and sat out at the bar. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and each one was amazing. Our service was amazing the whole night. The one thing I will have to say is that there was not much time between dishes. If you ordered everything at once like we did, I would recommend asking them to wait a bit between each dish. Overall had a great experience and the service made our experience so great.

I visited Ten Foot Henry for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment that dampened our night. The service we received was shockingly unprofessional and unfriendly. From the start, our server did not greet us warmly or make us feel welcome. She seemed rushed, spoke in a serious and impersonal manner, and didn t even offer a smile throughout the evening. What s more surprising is that she failed to ask about food allergies a crucial step for any restaurant. Our first dish was full of nuts, and one of us is allergic to peanuts, leaving us unsure whether the dish was safe to eat. This oversight is unacceptable. Adding to the disappointment, I had made the reservation specifically as a birthday dinner, which was clearly noted in the booking. Despite this, the occasion was completely ignored. Typically, restaurants acknowledge special events, even in small ways like a candle on a dessert or a drink. When the bill arrived, I asked about their birthday protocol, and she replied that they usually place a candle on the dessert. Without an apology for the oversight, she glanced at our half-eaten dessert and asked, Do you want me to take it and put a candle on it? This response felt dismissive and disrespectful. Overall, the service was the most unprofessional I ve ever encountered, and it left a negative impression on what should have been a special celebration. It s a shame because I had high expectations for this restaurant, but this experience has ensured I won t be returning anytime soon.

My all-time favourite dish is the pistachio kale pasta, beetroot salad, and Ahi tuna.

This has been one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary for several years now. I get the kale pesto pasta every time I dine here because I think they have the best version of this dish in the whole city. It s got a refreshing kick of lemon to it and I love the texture the pistachio brings. I also typically get the Henry salad to start. The cauliflower and toast with tomatoes are other favourites. I don t normally eat raw fish, but their tuna crudo was something I d order again and that s saying something! I usually skip dessert because I find it s a bit too sweet here.

Great food experience. I ve eaten here a few times and it s always been good. My favourites are the strip loin steak, the fried potatoes and the cauliflower. The butterscotch pudding is to die for.

We ve lived in the area 8 years and only recently dined here. Delicious food and drinks. I was very impressed with the service! Multiple times we were checked on, water topped up etc. I feel like it s not always like that in busy restaurants but it was here! Cute little space with lots of plants, loved it! Definitely will be back!

Solid 5 star service. Pretty pricey for what you get, as with every restaurant in Calgary these days. The food was hit and miss. We enjoyed a few of the dishes which were very tasty. Small quantities (and pricey ) overall for a restaurant that calls itself a family style sharing type of restaurant.

One of my favourite restaurants in the city! I ve been here many times, and the food is consistently outstanding. The pesto pasta is a true standout being rich but perfectly balanced, and the added nuts give it an amazing texture. Beyond their pasta, every dish is unique, made with fresh ingredients, and offers something interesting every time Ive been back. An incredible dining experience overall!

What a wonderful experience! Highly recommended. I visited the restaurant with my partner. We tried out a lot of the menu and shared it. Everything was sensational. We sat at the counter and were able to look straight into the kitchen, I can only recommend making a reservation there! The service was very attentive and the prices are very fair! Stopped by at Ten Foot Henry today to celebrate an anniversary with my boyfriend and our experience was neither here nor there. The staff was incredible, extremely welcoming and friendly and definitely set the tone for our dining experience. I loved the concept of having all their plates as shareables . It definitely makes the dining experience feel much more cozy and intimate. The house red was great but the food was sub-par. I m not sure if we stopped by on an off day because of all the raving reviews but nothing we ordered really hit the spot tonight. The Fried Potatoes were great, the green goddess dressing made it refreshing to eat. The Tripolini was alright but it didn t stand out. The Striploin was honestly the most disappointing part of the night, as the most expensive dish on their menu we both just expected a little more.

My friend and I had lunch at Ten Foot Henry. Food is served family style; we ordered scallops, prawns, carrots, broccolini and cauliflower. The food was delicious - it tasted even better than it looked! When I got home, I noticed a diamond had fallen out of my ring. After looking everywhere, I phoned the restaurant in case anyone found it. There had been no report, but I was told they would look for it. I got a call in a matter of minutes - they had found it!! It was held in the office, we drove to town to pick it up right away. I met the manager, who was truly happy it had been found. I was so thankful, I did not know if I had even lost it there and did not hold out hope. The fact they took the time to look for it and phone me right away was unexpected. In today s crazy world, it is refreshing to meet good people like those that work at Ten Foot Henry. Thanks to all involved, I am so grateful!

Superb service at this fantastic restaurant. Although we had a dedicated server who was extremely attentive, other staff members frequently checked on us at various points in the evening. The food was refreshingly different, as well as freshly prepared. Unique twists on old standards and plenty of vegetable dishes to make you feel like you had treated yourself but still made wise choices. Although I was warned by the friend recommending this restaurant that it would be pricey, I still found it a reasonable value for the quality of the ingredients im the dishes. Vegetarian options: There are several excellent vegetable side dishes, which are meant for sharing. My wife and I ordered one pasta dish and two vegetable dishes and it was just right for us. Dietary restrictions: My wife has a serious shellfish allergy and the staff was extremely careful once notified. We felt comfortable knowing that they made this a priority throughout the evening.

Ten Foot Henry was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the Alberta prime striploin, and it didn t live up to expectations the portion was small, and the taste was underwhelming. The red prawns were flavorful, but again, the quantity was lacking. Overall, the food didn t quite match the hype, especially given the portion sizes. (Not Pet Friendly)

Everything was very delicious. Our server was very friendly and make excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will be coming back to try other dishes!

A mixed bag. Service fine but not super attentive or engaged. Food was good-especially butterscotch pudding and Gigli. Other dishes overly disguised by sauces ( carrots/cauliflower). Honestly the chocolate torte was unpleasant and no one in our group could finish it-it had a ?rancid taste- not the nut topping so maybe some ingredient- would not recommend this. A good meal but not memorable. Hope for a better meal next time.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my thoughts on the restaurant. While I was excited to try a place that made Canada s 100 Best List, I found my experience to be a bit disappointing. The food, though decent, didnt quite live up to the high expectations set by its reputation. I found the concept interesting, but the execution felt lacking in some areas. I also noticed that the service could use some improvement. While the staff was certainly trying to be helpful, I felt that the upselling approach was a bit much, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the noise level made it challenging to have a conversation without leaning closer to the person I was speaking with. One aspect that was particularly challenging was the seating arrangement. It felt cramped, and I found the seating uncomfortable. There was also an instance with the hostess that I believe could be addressed for better guest experience. Overall, while I understand the restaurant has a strong reputation, my experience did not meet my expectations. I hope that with some adjustments, it can enhance the dining experience for future guests. I appreciate the recommendation from a local, as I was visiting Calgary from Ottawa, but I may explore other options on my next visit.

We tried this restaurant as a spot for our date night. The regular tables were unavailable for the timeframe we had looked at, so we sat at the bar. Service is exceptional and quite fast, and staff are helpful and very friendly. We ordered 4 items from their menu, and all were ok. The cauliflower dish was very tasty and innovative. The retaurant atmosphere, although nice and welcoming, is quite noisy, and the loud music pushes people to speak louder than usual so that they can hear each other.

Spent two months in Calgary working and wish we d come here more often. The two occasions we managed to find time were undoubtedly the best meals we had locally. Incredible vegetarian dishes particularly - I think we managed to get about 80% through the menu. Fresh and well thought out. Sincerely lovely staff, including the young guy who served us. Absolutely brilliant.

We were seated and served quickly. The cocktails were good, the food cooked well. Dishes were well balanced in flavours and textures. We were initially very impressed. Unfortunately the service we recieved took a massive dip in the middle of our meal, leaving me unable to order a second drink. In fact, my first drink was removed from the table before I could answer are you done with that? Additionally, while we were very happy overall with the quality of our food, it was disappointing the menu did not specify the tzatziki served with the chicken included jalapeños as it was completely unexpected and my partner doesnt tolerate spice well. Finally, while the restaurant is obviously constrained by location, it is fairly crowded and loud, making it unsuitable for some individuals.

I had an amazing experience at 10 Foot Henry. The service was impeccable, and I loved their share plates and the pacing of the meal. While the menu is vegetable-forward, there s still great food for meat lovers like my husband to enjoy. My particular favorite was the grilled cabbage it was such an unusual but tasty preparation.

Stumbled upon Ten Foot Henry on a quick trip to Calgary and had a fantastic meal. The ambience and service are incredible, and the food itself was so fresh and flavorful. I had the Henry Salad which paired nicely with the Hamachi dish and a Japanese ale. Glad I stopped in and would definitely return whenever I have the chance. Highly recommend. Was able to get in on a Saturday night at the bar by myself but it was clear that reservations are encouraged.

The chicken dish and butterscotch pudding are to die for!! Our server was very attentive and would not hesitate to recommend for a lovely casual dining experience.

This is my first trip to Canada from the US and my first time dining at Ten Foot Henry. The food was so delicious that it literally brought tears to my eyes! On top of all that the service was just as pleasing! We will be returning soon!

Ive been coming here for years! The quality is consistently amazing which is hard to say about any downtown restaurant. Love their food and ambiance. I still miss some of their old amazing dishes that they refuse to bring back no matter how many times I ask, such as the yam pie and their gigli pasta dish.

We ordered the tuna crudo, which was just okay imo. I found the spaghetti cacio e pepe was a bit too salty. Our favorite was the cauliflower. Overall, I was expecting more in terms of the food. Service was okay. I like the interior design of the restaurant with the hanging plants. Vegetarian options: cacio e pepe and cauliflower

Amazing experience and date night! We sat at the bar and Tyson served us ask for him! Super fun and personable and to top it off so great with my celiac allergy and he picked out the perfect wine for the meal (the riesling is phenomenal). 10 stars if I could- we will be back!

Phenomenal food and outstanding service. Our favorite dish was the charred cabbage, which is served atop a toasted walnut vinaigrette and is absolutely delicious. Other standouts were the feasta pasta with ricotta and spinach served atop a butternut squash puree and the chocolate avocado torte. The wine list is fantastic, and they have low and no-alcohol cocktails and drinks as well. A wonderful meal overall.

The omelet flavors were amazing together!! The brocolini was yummy too. The space was good, just a little loud for us for conversation. Wed still go back for the food!

Ok let me start this off by this. I ate at Hawthorn Dining Room & Bar at Fairmont Palliser Calgary (Downtown) just two days before coming here. The stake here is 4x better than it is at Hawthorn Dining Room & Bar at Fairmont Palliser Calgary (Downtown) - This isnt just my own opinion. Is the same opinion by another people I ate there with. The food here was AWESOME! the staffs was extremely welcoming and friendly. Also not to mention our servers recommendation was 4/4 when he recommended us Appetizers > Kids option > Main Course > Dessert - It was so good I can eat here everyday for a week. The foods was so fresh and yummy. If you come to Calgary and you dont come to Ten Foot Henry. I will tell you. YOU REALLY MISSED OUT.

Ten Foot Henry is an absolute gem! We had a fantastic dinner with excellent service from start to finish. The tuna and mushroom appetizers were both fresh and flavorful, setting a high bar for the meal. The kale and rotolo pastas were just as impressive rich, delicious, and served in generous portions. In fact, we had leftovers to take home! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made sure everything was perfect. We ll definitely be back for another memorable meal.

Went there for lunch & ordered family style (its the only way to go) celebrated golf tournament winner & presented her with the cup - food, service and lighting was excellent. I would do that again.

It was a place recommended by a friend, and the atmosphere was simple with an open layout, allowing you to watch the chefs prepare the food, which I liked. The food is expensive, but the taste and portion size are average for the price.

My favourite restaurant in Calgary, and the one I always take visitors to, never disappoints. The vegetable dishes are outstanding I could easily make a meal of them alone. But I always save room for the pasta and, of course, the butterscotch dessert! Im also really impressed with the non-alcoholic cocktails. The atmosphere is so fun and intimate. I have heard many great things about this restaurant. My recent experience was not what I expected at all. A few of our dishes were bland, feeling thrown together. A few others overly salted and not enjoyable. The service seemed hollow and cold. Trying to get us in, take our money and get us out the door as quick as possible, we felt very rushed. Friend of mine in our group who has dined here before was disappointed with serving sizes as well. Told us before they gave so much more food. Especially for what we paid for, I would have expected more/better. Most likely will not be back. I wouldnt recommend either.

Only in town for a day, we visited this restaurant. Unfortunately had to sit on the insect-prone patio because of our dog, so I cannot speak to the atmosphere inside. Their food seems to be a seafood-focused, seasonal menu including innovative flavour combinations and ingredients. The food came out beautiful, perfectly cooked and paired well with their accompanying sauces and garnishes. Worth a visit if you are a fan of seafood in the city. From what I understand, it would be a rare sight from the cattle driven city. A highlight is their cacio e pepe. I came with some people who have never had a cacio e pepe dish, and tried it first here and loved it. They seemed to have used a local pasta manufacturer, which elevated the simple dish into something delectable and crave-worthy.

Best meal we ve had in so long! Every single thing we ordered was incredible. The Henry Salad was light and fresh, the Tuna Crudo melted in our mouths, and the Broccolini and Mushroom Medly were both so full of delicious flavors that we d never had before. We ended with more dessert than we could finish, but couldn t resist trying both the Butterscotch Pudding and the Cheesecake Cream Puffs. Oh my good lord, the butterscotch pudding was INSANE. A must order! Do not skip this spot!

In Calgary for a few days, our son chose Ten Foot Henry. Delicious, artfully presented vegetarian food, excellent menu, and the chefs choice of flavour combinations was teriffic. Service was quick, professional and friendly even though it was busy. My personal preference is a little quieter ambience so I gave 4 stars there, but Im older and others might prefer it louder. The food was tasty but the entire set up is overpriced and frustrating. The family style nonsense makes it hard to get an actual meal at a reasonable price. I paid $26 for a shrimp dish that was listed as a main dish and came away still starving. It s trying to be a fancier place than it is at the expense of providing people with a meal.

One of the best restaurants Ive been to (not just in Calgary but all of North America). Everything was so innovative but yet so delicious!! The Gigli pasta, marinated beetroot, cauliflower gochujang and BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING were all so good! This is one of the few restaurants where I didnt feel the need to order any meat (still ordered the roasted chicken and it was pretty good) Must go for anyone in Calgary. Honourary mention - the cocktails were equally good!

Impressive menu! Two of us shared grilled asparagus, mushroom medley, fried potatoes, roasted chicken and striploin steak. It was a lot of food but hard to stop because it was so delicious! Left with a small doggie bag, a full tummy and a smiling face. Highly recommended.

First time visiting for brunch and could not be happier with the choices. TFH is all shareable plates. We had the Ham and Tomato Toast and the Double Smoked Bacon which were TASTY!, but the real winner was the Sourdough Pancake!! It was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and served with the right amount of whipped vanilla bean topping and maple syrup! Just delightful

This is a fantastic restaurant if youre looking for share plates and delicious cocktails. They also have a delightful selection of mocktails and near-zero % cocktails that are just as yummy as the real thing. Their menu remains pretty constant, but they change up some dishes seasonally to keep things fresh if you visit here often. Reserve ahead of time, as they fill up quickly!

90% of the menu is gluten free, just not the pasta and like 1 other dish. Just a note though their gf bread (subbing for the sourdough) has oat flour. We had the potatoes (AMAZING), broccolini and scallops. Everything was delicious and fresh, split 3 dishes between 2 people as was recommended and were nice and full but with room enough for the butterscotch pudding too.

Indescribably good cuisine! Its hard to put into words what the chefs have mastered here! The prices are absolutely fair and not overpriced. Service very attentive. Can only recommend the place at the bar with a view of the kitchen.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection. This was eating g should be. Tomatoes with whipped feta were incredibly tasty and became almost like a spread when mixed. Mushroom medley starred perfectly pan fried mushrooms. Cauliflower was bountiful and slightly spiced - enough for an entree. Salmon was cooked to perfection. AND the butterscotch pudding was beyond! Thanks for the reminder of what true fine eating is like.

Ten Foot Henry is hands down the best restaurant in Calgary. My favorites include their cauliflower, salmon, cabbage, and steak each dish is absolutely delicious. This place came highly recommended to us and we can see why. Everything we tried here was so very good. And most of these are vegetables. They really make them shine in this place. The simple menu can be deceiving as what is placed in front of us was certainly more than what the menu can convey. My favourite dish of the day had to be the charred cabbage. The sauce it came with was so delicious and it left me craving for more. Their tomatoes & feta concoction was also amazing and this is served with bread. We ordered as we noticed that every table around us had one. We were not disappointed. We tried their hamachi as well and this was so delicately done. Please book if you want to have a chance to try as we did see the place packed and some people did not get a chance to get a table. We are so glad to have tried and would definitely be back if given a chance.

Excellent food! The cauliflower was hands down the best thing i ve ever ordered and eaten from a restaurant. Drinks and atmosphere was a 10/10. Excellent service from Megan who was our main waitress, but constant water top ups from any member of staff that saw our glasses even slightly empty. This place is worth every bit you will pay, which is a tough find in today s market.

My GF and I was here for dinner recently, food really blew us away and it was highly recommend by many. Got the Henry Salad to start followed by the Gigli pasta, Salmon and asparagus to finish. Every dish we had was amazing and can really taste everything they put in. Sad we didnt have room for more and dessert so will for sure come back for more.

Ive been to Ten Foot Henry a few times for brunch/lunch now. Each time, the food has been amazing and as expected. The only downside would be that the restaurant is quite loud, especially during weekends when it is fully filled. Service is also quite rushed and not as attentive as one would like. However, the food still makes it worth it.

We had a great experience here! We ordered the tomatoes, broccolini, gigli pasta, and chicken and were shocked at how big the portions were! The service was excellent and the food was delish. Would definitely recommend! Ps, I don t remember the name of our server but she was lovely!

Lately it has been harder to find a meal that is worth the cost of eating out. This was such a pleasant surprise and a delicious meal from start to finish! This place serves dishes that are meant to share. Each plate was so thoughtfully made with a balance of textures and flavours. They used locally sourced ingredients. I thought the meal was a great value! The beets in mama ghanoush (zucchini rather than eggplant) were coated with mandarin zest and sesame snap chunks was probably my favourite dish but it was so hard to decide. The fresh pasta was phenomenal! The menu changes frequently so there would always be something new to discover here!

This place isnt in the best part of downtown Calgary, so dont be put off by the surroundings. The food is excellent and everything is sourced locally, even the soft drinks. Dont expect Coca-Cola, but the locally-brewed cola options are even better. The service was good, with the food coming out in well-timed courses that keep you occupied while waiting for the next dish.

Food was great but honestly I hated the service because you could CLEARLY see we were having a very in-depth conversation with hand movements, etc but kept getting interrupted by the waiter. Like they need to understand that they don t need to interrupt just to say Annnnddd here s your coffee. Like I can see that s the coffee, you just interrupted an in-depth conversation and now you ve derailed a train of thought. Just put the coffee down and walk away. Simple. Holy smokes that pissed me off so much.

We had such an amazing culinary experience at Ten Foot Henry. Carson was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive throughout our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, especially the cacio e Pepe, the salmon dish, pesto pasta, steak and Henry salad, which were cooked to perfection. They also have an amazing mocktail menu! Last but not least, the coconut cake was so delicious, we went there again the next day for dinner. Thank you for everything, definitely one of my favorite restaurants!

As our server explained, all of the dishes are served family style for sharing and 2-3 should be good if we are just snacking and 3-4 would be good for main. There were so many interesting options, we decided to go with 4 dishes: mushroom medley, cauliflower with gochujang, seared scallops, and red prawns. All of the dishes were very good and the sauces all had strong and distinct flavours. The caulifower did pack a nice kick but I prefer them a little less soft. The seared scallops were done perfectly and the prawns were good but the highlight was the mushrooms. They had a nice meaty taste and nice bits of charring which made them very flavourful. We were pretty full but the dark choclate and avocado torte was intriguing. The server warned that the avocado taste is quite strong but we both like avocado so it wasnt a problem. You can definitely taste the avocado but the dark chocholate is so smooth and delicious that its definitely worth a bite even if you dont love avocado. Service was attentive and for each dish the sauxe ingredients were broken down. Overall a very good experience.

Love this place- been for brunch every weekend this month. Always great food and great service. A favourite for special occasions! My only negative is the banquette seats are too close together. It s hard to get in and out of and hard to have private conversations.

We used to love this place 2-3 years ago when we dined here for brunch and dinner. After returning the past 2-3 times for brunch and dinner this summer (2024), the food just does not seem to hit the spot anymore. Every dish we had ordered is full of pre-made purées. It was either too salty or too sweet. For $25-$40 per dish, it seems to lack fresh & quality ingredients. It doesn t seem worth it as the quality is not premium at this price point. Unfortunately, we will no longer be returning.

Pasta and Rosé were a perfect weekend treat!

The place was busy when we entered so we waited a bit until someone could greet us. We were the only ones waiting and Hostess-F finally had time to greet us, and told us shed be right with us. In the meantime another couple came in, and by the time Hostess-F came back she greeted the new couple, asked them how many were in their party and proceeded to seat them. We had reservations so I didnt bother to call the hostess out for being so rude. But was such crappy service that really set the tone for the rest of the evening

I haven t been here for almost two years and I still think about how delicious it was, so I have to leave a review! My partner and I have said it s the best food we have eaten together in our 5 years of being together. We had the whipped feta and tomato appetizer - soooo good. My salmon entree was also a hit, but everything we ate was delicious. Our server was so nice and funny, very attentive too! This was truly an ideal dining experience. 1000/10

First time at this restaurant, I had heard so much about it. It didn t disappoint. I am more of a food person and the food did lived up to the hype. We were a group of four and tried quite a lot of plates . The food is based on a shareable format; one can order 2 small plates and is meant to be shared . Very fresh and bold flavour. We had the cauliflower, potatoes ,mushrooms, asparagus, scallop , hamachi and the roasted chicken , Overall everything worked well together. I was a bit disappointed with the roast chicken being a bit on the drier side and it didn t work well with taziki for me. Scallops were a bit over cooked but had a great sear on them, the sauce served along was great. We had the butterscotch pudding which was just ok and a bit too sweet for our liking. The service was quick and cocktails were great, can t complain. The place is a bit cramped in terms of spacing between seats but nothing too bad. Great vibe and ambiance. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend Vegetarian options: The menu is very vegetarian forward according to me . Lots of options to choose from.

Racist Host did not want to seat us or help us at all.

We came in today (Monday afternoon) and were initially told it was a 45 minute wait and then another staff member told us it was a two hour wait. We were given strange looks by staff and were discriminated against. Beware.

I do not recommend dining here, I had a bad experience that was racially motivated.

Calgary just upped its culinary game! We experienced some of the most delicious food weve ever had at this restaurant. The flavors were incredibly unique and distinctive, offering a truly gourmet experience. The service was equally impressive everyone who interacted with us was gracious, friendly, and courteous. Well definitely be back on our next visit to Calgary!

Fantastic food, although very busy the service was still amazing, and such a lovely atmosphere. All 3 dishes we ordered were executed and plated perfectly. It s not easy to make something as simple as Cacio e Pepe so delicious, I dined with a picky Italian and she was a huge fan.

Really delicious spot! Got a table for four inside and service was prompt. Got the bottle of rose to share - it was nice, sweet and refreshing. As for food, we shared the beets, cucumber and tomato dishes. The flavors were on point for all of them. The tomato with whipped feta on toast was a crowd favorite. The cucumber had good crunch and sesame oil drizzle that was fantastic. Beets were equally awesome with a great sauce. We also tried the pasta and loved the tomato and peppery kick.

The staff were friendly and the aesthetics of the restaurant was very nice, so if youre going for service and a nice spot to eat, this is the place to go. However, if youre going somewhere for value and taste, you have plenty of other options. The food we ordered was either just meh or very sour. The presentation of the food was pleasing and health conscious folks will love all the vegetable options available. But value and taste are more important to me when I dine out, so I walked away going, dang, did I just pay that much for tomatoes, beets, and cauliflower? Overall, Ten Foot Henry is a one and done for me, but I recommend others try this place out as it might fit their pallet more than mine.

I am not sure if it was an off day because this restaurant was recommended by more than a few friends, but I was disappointed. This was my first time here and I dont think there is one standout dish that I would recommend. There was one person at my table who has been to this restaurant before and he felt that it was significantly better the last few times he came. Almost every dish (the tuna crudo was the only exception) was over seasoned or very salty. It was hard to get the full taste palate of the dish once we were overwhelmed by the saltiness and had to wash it down with lots of water. We ordered the tomatoes herbs whipped feta, grilled broccolini, tagliatelle Pistachio pesto pasta, scallops, tuna crudo, and the prawns.

My experience at Ten Foot Henry was outstanding. The restaurant has a great vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Carson, our waiter, was fantastic - very welcoming. The food was exceptional. It s rare to enjoy every single dish at a restaurant, but the chef here knows what he s doing. As a Persian who loves seafood and trying new tastes, this place was perfect. Our group of six ordered various types of pasta, salmon, and scallops, all cooked to perfection medium rare, well done, and also extra crispy, just as each individual requested. The beet salad was the best I ve ever had. I highly recommend Ten Foot Henry. My only complaint was that they added a mandatory gratuity to our bill, which I didn t notice, so ended up tipping another 20% on top of the gratuity! So be aware of that if you re a group of 6!

The patio seating at Ten Foot Henry was great. There was no wait to be seated at 8pm on a Wednesday. The cauliflower dish was delicious, and filling, with a unique kick. They added an additional vegan sauce for the potato s for $2 which was avocado based and was refreshing. We ordered 4 dishes for a table of three, but probably 3 dishes would ve been enough.

Everything was great! We had 5 different dishes, all were delicious & Im quite sure all items on the menu were so! Staff were super friendly & helpful. Service was great & prompt. A reservation is needed in advance. Dont forget to order desserts;) One of my favorite spots on my next trip to Calgary

Roland s service capped off a great trip in Calgary and the Canadian Rockies! We were recommended this place by multiple locals and had to try it for ourselves. We stuck to the classic favorites and were very impressed at the quality and portions. Best of all was Roland s service quality attentive but not overbearing, and most importantly humorous! Was a great way to cap our trip. Will recommend this restaurant and server to friends.
