Caesar's Steak House & SPQR Lounge in Calgary

My wife and I recently attended the Willow Park location for a nice dinner! As usual for the past 40+ years weve been eating at Caesars they didnt disappoint! Food, Ambiance and Service was first class. Angela was the most wonderful, professional and knowledgeable representatives weve had the pleasure of dinning with over the years. Im hopeful Gus and Patrick recognize her for her personality and abilities to support guests and the way she conducts herself at a highlevel! Patrick is a first class gentleman and extremely helpful with guests and the entire staff as he supported every opportunity that arouse with his immediate attention! Continued to make his rounds to assess and interact with guests to ensure they enjoyed their experience. Great Job Willow Park Team! Merry Christmas and we hope to see you al again soon... Caesars has usually been one of the top picks for a place to go out for business and personal lunch/dinner. We went today for a christmas lunch with our team the server was very sweet and was clearly busy (which was no problem for us) but once we ordered our food it took a very long time (especially for lunch) when the food came we were missing one of the dishes for our table of 4 a caeser salad with chicken.. the rest of us were almost finished our meals when the salad finally came it was about 15 minutes into the rest of us eating). When the time came for the bill we said something to the server that just for next time the timing of the food was really rough when the entire dish for the 4th person is missing. She was very sweet and insisted we talk to her manager. When the manager came over he had an apauling stuck up attitude quizzing us on how long the food really took, absolutely no accountability or even an Im sorry? he then snarkily took a non alcoholic beer off our bill and walked away. He absolutley made the situation much worse. For a $30 caesar salad to come that late into the meal and then to be treated like that is horrible. After this experience we will be inclined to go to another steakhouse with better service and I suggest others do the same.

I recently hosted my mom s birthday party, and I booked the private dining room. When I got there, the tables weren t set up the way they were presented, and when we asked the waiters to change them for us, the waiters developed an attitude and we re not very kind and did not accommodate us in that way. Then throughout the night, the waiters were becoming more and more impatient with my party and, they were giving unnecessary attitude towards the people that were invited. To say the least the waiters and the manager was not accommodating at all and did not go the extra mile to be able to make sure that my guests and the celebrant were comfortable and happy throughout the night . Something a simple as getting the Wi-Fi password for a presentation for the birthday celebrate was too hard and too difficult for the waiters to do for us. One asked for the password they said that s not their job. There s someone else that handles it and they did not direct me to that person it took me to try and try and try to be able to obtain a Wi-Fi password I don t know how the normal experience is for most people but just a heads up that if you are thinking of booking the private dining room, just be cautious and make sure that you really properly communicate everything with the manager before hand and don t have your hopes all the way up based off of the service because they just deliver the food and give you an attitude with it. I will never return here, and the waiters were also rude to all of my guest when they were asking them questions. Beware.

Sorry to say my last visit for my son s birthday was less than stellar. Just not what it used to be at all. To be fair I didn t complain at the time because son was already worried about having chosen the restaurant for his birthday. Was expecting the highlight to be the steak but was very dissatisfied. That 0 for the last two visits

It was a monthly steak dinner night with my wife. I booked a table for 5pm, July 29th. A lady at the reception desk greeted us with a warm welcome. And the manager (I believe, cause he was in his jacket) came to escort us to the table. I overheard the conversation between them for our table number. It was 31 she said, but he looked not happy with that. And I heard that he changed it to #9. The table was right in front of their door to kitchen, where I was able to hear all those small chats among their associates, which I really didn t want. Usually when you make a reservation, you don t expect the restaurant treat you like that, especially by changing your table at the reception. I still don t know why he put us into that table. When we got there, the restaurant only had one table dining, two tables from our table. I was at least wearing a pair of jeans & a shirt and saw other guests with short pants. And when our server brought bread (Garlic and Cheese) basket, he asked us to pick it up with our fingers. That was weird, for the restaurant like Caesar s. After that I checked the other tables and servers. The other tables were served with a serving tong. Food was okay, but I want to ask the restaurant why they treated us like these. Was there a specific reason? I don t know. What was wrong with myself? Am I not the person qualified to your restaurant? I would never be back to their restaurants and will share my experience to my friends and co-workers.

The soup and the lamb are delicious, must tries! Great food and service, at a reasonable cost.

Thank you for a great birthday gathering, Sept 14th. We drove from west of Cochrane all the way to south Calgary.

We were in this summer for lunch and as usual the food was exceptional but what made the lunch was a young man named Presley who had his first day serving. We ve had him as a busser previously and it was so nice to see this contentious hard working young man get promoted, it s nice to see the management promote within versus outside hiring. Cesar s is always a great meal and the longevity of the staff says they re doing something right and it s nice to have some younger staff in such an established restaurant.

My friend and I tried to reserve a table over the phone and they wanted a credit card with a $50 deposit in case you don t show. I ll take my business elsewhere. Get stuffed!!!!!

I recently visited Caesars to celebrate a special occasion with my brother and his fiancée on Sep 28th, eager to introduce them to Alberta beef and the restaurant itself. We ordered two medium-rare ribeyes, one medium-rare New York strip, and a rare filet mignon. Unfortunately, the two ribeyes were overcooked, closer to medium, which was disappointing. Additionally, the New York strip had noticeable fascia or tendon, which detracted from the overall experience. Given that it had been a while since I last saw my brother, I chose not to complain and kept the evening pleasant, but in all honesty, the quality was subpar. For the higher prices now charged, I expected a meal that matched the cost. I woudlnt recommend this Caesars to anyone else from now...

We took my son there for his 19th birthday last night. We sat in the lounge. Our server Sarah was exceptional! It has been a long time since we had a friendly, knowledgeable, server who clearly loves what she does! My husband and son ordered the steak and lobster (Steak Anthony). It was perfect. The lobster cooked to perfection and the steak melted in their mouths. I had the Steak Neptune with the jumbo prawns. OMG Soo good! Sarah recommended the blue cheese salad to start and WOW was it delicious. She also said the apple pie is the best in town. Im telling you, I could have licked the plate, the sauce on the pie was so good! Atmosphere wonderful, service impeccable, and food worthy of the prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ask for Sarah in the lounge!

I ve been on the lookout for the best steak in Calgary, and this is the best of the best steak I ve ever tasted in the city! Especially THEO our server was excellent, very precise and extremely awesome!!!! Ill surely recommend this to my friend and family!

I usually dont like to give not so good review but I think some restaurants need to train their employees better! Ryan was our server last night. I hope I didnt get the name wrong. Hes the lanky caucasian older guy. My date and I order the fried shrimps to start...I went and ordered a salad and ribeye. Ryan said thats a lot of food maybe I should share my plate of shrimps instead of us ordering two plates like where in the world does a server advices guest on what portion of food to order? Thats insulting and embarrassing! The steak was chewy and dry even though I asked for medium well. I just bite around it..couldnt eat it. I loved the dessert though! Overall, service was a bit slow..shrimp was good and I like the vanilla beans dessert Because you have something to say doesnt mean you should say it!!

We were at Caesar s this past weekend to celebrate a birthday. This was my first visit, but it won t be the last. Dinner was outstanding - Caesar salad made tableside and the steak cooked to perfection certainly are standouts. Thanks to our very gracious server, Angela, who had excellent recommendations, and was very prompt, efficient, and professional. Great experience!

My husband and I normally come here every so often to have a great steak. We were never disappointed before until yesterday. We decided to take my father here as well for Fathers day and service fell short along with the too charred steaks my husband and father had. I think Im most disappointed in the service. We waited for rough 20 mins just to get our bill. I understand yesterday was a busy day but for us to ask another waiter for the bill and he didnt even attempt to get us the bill was disappointing. If your coworker needs some help, wouldnt it be nice to help each other out. Who knows maybe the set up at Caesars is different but no apology acknowledgement nor understanding that when you go to a fine dining place service is one of the key things. We will not be going here for a while as it was just too disappointing compared to the last several times weve been.

Awesome place with great service. I love the 14oz New York steak and our server Marco is amazing. We get him every time we come and he is the absolute best server we have ever had! Couldn t ask for better service. The only thing we would request is something chocolatey for dessert. A lava cake or something of the sort would be a great addition to the menu.

My friend had her 30th birthday here on the weekend. The food and atmosphere were great but the waiter seemed overwhelmed and irritated most of the evening. He wasnt very personable and it took 40mins just to get everyones bill paid at the end of the night. He said that the POS system wouldnt combine bills but amongst all the chaos my friend was charged for two meals that werent even theirs. The server should have had help or a better system for taking payments. Otherwise the experience was good.

Our Son and daught-in-law took us here last night. What an amazing place!! From the moment you walk in it is filled with fantastic food, fantastic service and an amazing atmosphere. The best service ever. Great job everyone!

Very good service and classy atmosphere. If you want a good quality, well made classic steak, then youll like Caesars. No unique or amazing marinade or seasonings to the steak to make it standout. The sides of twice baked potato with all the fixings and cheese and garlic bread were good. Price of the food was good, but prices of the drinks were quite overpriced.

We immensely enjoyed the old school fine dining service at this place! Every piece felt like a classic padded tables, crisp white table linen, simple yet elegant table setting, and well trained service staff. Our steaks were cooked to our liking, we loved the wine that was suggested for it, and the tableside cookery elevated the experience! Staff was doting yet very professional

What a great experience. The steak was perfect, the service was on-point and as full as the restaurant was, our group of 6 had no trouble with noise pollution. Outstanding.

Called ahead of time and asked what time the lounge closed. When I arrived they told me it was closed. This was 45 min shorter than the time they told me on the phone. Some Serbian sounding rude guy when I walked in. Please respect peoples time. Thanks

Excellent food & drinks! The service was great especially our server Kyle who was beyond phenominal! He provided an excellent and diligent dinning experience. We felt very well taken care of.

Birthday dinner. Restaurant was about 75% full. Service was very polite, friendly, attentive and on point. Good value for the money. Will definitely go back next time Im in Calgary . Dietary restrictions: They tried their best to cater to our gluten free restrictions.

Not what it used to be...as a place our family has celebrated special occasions and conducted business meetings/Christmas parties at, Caesars had been a reliable dining experience over the years. After not going out much over the last couple of years, we decided to visit Caesars for a recent birthday celebration. Frankly, we were shocked. While our server was engaging, attentive and accommodating...her efforts couldnt overcome the poor quality and terrible preparation of all 3 of our meals. A $73 steak was a struggle to eat...tough, flavourless, under-seasoned and way under cooked...after struggling through part of it, I gave up. A $28 hamburger was tough and bland, with a bun that was already mush by the time it arrived at the table. Overall, we all had the same feeling...low level food quality, poor preparation and certainly not the value proposition you expect. Even the cheese toast was dry and void of that cheesy goodness you could always count on at Caesars. To be fair, our server even approached the table and asked if she could try and get my steak cooked. We are not ones to complain in a restaurant and we dont send meals back...and I assured her that it was ok. When the manager came over and asked about our meal, I was the only one to comment as I mentioned the steak was chewy. He did offer to get me a new one, but again, thats just not something we do in restaurants. At the end of the day, our server did comp us a dessert to go which was nice of her, but to be honest, I was expecting the manager to provide a gesture of goodwill through an adjustment to a $300 lunch bill. No such gesture came. We carried on and finished our drinks, paid the bill with an appropriate tip for our service and left shaking our heads in what had become of a generational favourite of our family. We wont be going back.

Everything was great, except there were so many staff working the floor on a Friday evening, and it added far too much commotion to the vibe. You can tell they have a very high standard for top-notch service, but theres no need to fill my water glass every time I take a small sip. It felt like the floor staff were under extreme pressure, and it really took away from the overall experience. The food was great though

This was my first time visiting!! Genuinely I was quite nervous that I wouldnt feel welcomed. It was my 30th and my mum wanted to take me somewhere special. I immediately felt relaxed and honored to be welcomed by such a phenomenal staff. Im really thankful for such an incredible experience. Our waiter Daryl was the shining star. He was attentive and his reccomendations were stellar. He had such wonderful witty banter and created a genuinely memorable experience for us. The food was top notch and the drinks were impeccable. Above all, the service is something Ill treasure. I felt a sense of pride from his capacity to go above and beyond for us. Id like to return and Ill reccomend this location to anyone who wants to feel enriched by a luxurious fine dining experience. Time well spent!!!! Parking: Willow park village has great parking

My family went for the first time on the 13th of January. We had the table side caesar salad which was excellent. For mains my wife had the Steak Anthony and I had the Rib eye. The steak is definitely in the top 3 Ive had in Calgary and was cooked perfectly. For desert we had the chocolate nuttella gelato which we all split and was quite tasty. All in all it was a great experience from ambiance to service.

Classic old school Steak House with great food. We usually eat in the lounge with is 007 theam and cool tables and seating.... It can get pricey but the steak is always top notch.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Willow Park. Besides dining at the WP location throughout the year, we have made it a tradition to make it our last meal of the year celebrating New Years Eve with the kids here. The service is exceptional and they always remember us when we come in. The food is consistently good; our faves are the scampi, shrimp cocktail, pan fried shrimp, can t forget about the CHEESE TOAST (perfect for dipping the garlic butter from the pan fried shrimp), the table side Caesar is great when dining with a group of people. For the main we always get the filet mignon with the twice baked potato - oh marone so good! I can t forget to mention the Beef Bourguignon, the flavour is outstanding and the meat oh so tender - try it if you re not in the mood for a traditional steak dinner. Enjoy!

I ve been going to this location for many many years and always seem to leave with a smile on my face. Andrew has been my server several times and he always exceeds my expectations. The level of service that he continues to deliver is outstanding. Chef Danny has never disappointed with the level of accuracy on how well he cooks his steaks as they re always on point. These two employees keep me coming back time and time again.

Nice upscale fine dining place. Decent quality food that lives up to the expectations of such an upscale and pricey eatery. Ordered filet mignon and homemade cheesecake with strawberry topping. Lots of free parking spaces.

Went here on the weekend hoping for a nice dinner date with my husband. We were craving steak and this place was recommended by a family member. We had a reservation in the lounge. We were seated relatively quickly and both ordered steak. The food came out quickly. Our steaks were cooked to the right doneness but were very under seasoned. My husband got fries and gravy and the gravy was disgusting. It tasted like water with salt and flour in it. No flavor whatsoever. I got one of the stuffed potatoes that comes standard. It was very dry most of the way through, and had clearly been in the oven too long. Even with the sour cream added I couldn t finish it. The cheese toast that everyone talks about from this restaurant never came. When we asked for it they brought garlic toast instead. We would have asked again but the server never came back to check on us until we had finished our dinner to clear our plates. We got the apple pie for dessert and it was okay but I didn t care for the rum sauce they put on it. While we were eating dessert the bartender began loudly scolding a server about going behind the bar. Another server came and consoled her and then she walked away crying. It was clear that she was young and just training. I m not sure that going behind the bar deserves that kind of mistreatment and frankly we were very disappointed that a high end restaurant like this would allow their employees to be treated like that from another staff member. It was so unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. So I guess this is what a $200 dinner gets you these days in Calgary! We won t be back! I m surprised the reviews are so positive for this restaurant because it was a HUGE disappointment.

While no longer living in Calgary, when we return for a visit, a trip to Caesars is always high on the list of places to go. We had a great meal there this week the service, food and atmosphere never disappoints!

Caesars sets the bar for exceptional meal experience! Food quality, service and an atmosphere all combine to make every visit special. Amazes me everytime how well they deliver on all, our family of 3 all were amazed at the meal.

First time going to Caesars, and I would have to say that it is the best steak house in Calgary. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the twice baked potato is also a must-have. And for my starter, the onion soup . Try Caesars, you will not be disappointed

Steaks are a bit pricey, but what youre really investing with here is the ambiance and the quality of the food. Steaks were accurately cooked to our liking, together with the baked potato and brocollinis. Could use a bit more seasoning, but perhaps thats just me. The effort behind making the desserts definitely translates to the quality. The cheesecake was mildly-flavored, but the fruit and sauce gave a tangy persona to the entire dessert. The apple pie with gelato was also a great tease for the senses because of the earthy notes and perfect sweetness. Speaking of the ambiance, I believe that this place is perfect for a formal dinner or just an upscale date with a partner. Servers are excellent conversationalists, and they also know the menu like the back of their hand. I recommend booking in advance and getting the three-course meal options for better bang for your buck. Make sure to reserve as the place becomes quite packed on weekends.

Don t bother! Service has gone down hill these last few months. Food isn t what it used to be. Staff has changed. They close early and denied us service. So disappointed that this is the last time we will try Caesars. FOR LEASE!!!

My husband LOVES the steak sandwich here. Better than the other steakhouses. He s also a stickler for great service and the service here is top notch! OMG the ceasar salad is pretty hard to beat as well Parking: Parking is easy. I absolutely hate going downtown because of the parking. Willow park is lovely.

It has been a number of years since I have visited Calgary and dined at Caesars. It is as amazing as I had remembered. The one thing that made it even better was our server Anastasia. She was wonderful!! Whether you dine downtown or at Willowpark, you will not be disappointed.

Caesars is perfectly old school and its always a treat to get spoiled by the service while sitting down for one of the best steaks in Calgary. Nothing better than table side Caesar salad and wet always go through a few orders of cheese bread. The lounge is a great place for a business lunch or catching up with friends.

I have come here many, many times, its my favorite. Exceptional service Fine Dining Exquisite Delsiscious For your most beautiful occasions, celebrations intimate for two, also family, groups. The interior is so warm, the fine dining experience. Can sit near and watch the meat being prepared on the grill through the glass if seated next to. A table for two surrounded in tapestries, a booth. I once ordered a cake and had it delivered for a surprise. They were very warm, discrete, brought it out when time. Very accommodating always. Me and my family visited this steakhouse because last week it was Wednesday they have a very good review. We went there after lunch like 3 pm and the dining was empty and it was great because we own the focus of the business. Ordered caesars salad but to my dismay and my wife the lettuce cut are huge like table napkins that can cover our face, the dressing is amazing though.. only the lettuce slices is annoying. We ordered ribeye steak and my wife had fillet mignon. They seasoned it perfectly and the cook done a stunning job with regards with our request of donenness. Kudos to the chef who give his best smile while cooking our steaks. Waiter is attentive to our need. The stuff baked potato is the best... yumyumm. We finish with their homemade cheesecake i can say out of this world. I will recomend this steakhouse to everyone. NY steak was a chore to cut through & the scampi starter was mushy, probably made from frozen.

We ve been here at least a dozen times over the past 2-3 years, and everyone says they make the best table side Caesar when we order it, but Ryan actually makes the best table side Cesar. This place is a Calgary staple. I couldn t imagine our great city without it. 10/10 meal every time.

The setting is very classy, and dimly lit so if you want to take loads of selfies or pictures this isn t the place for that. If you want to have phone-free conversations then this is the spot. The service is very lovely, they know everything on the menu really well from how the dishes are made to what they contain. So you can ask as many questions before ordering and be prepared. I m not a huge fan of steak so I opted for the salmon and it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I enjoyed watching the Caesar salad get prepared from scratch table side, I think it s a nice touch. There s an 18% compulsory gratuity so whatever you plan on spending just factor that into your budget. All in all, it s a lovely spot

Excellent experience. Extremely amazing food.

I m torn on this review. The steaks were good, cooked as requested. But the service was below par. In particular, we ordered an extra order of their famous cheese bread (the initial small basket is the same size if you re a table of 2 vs 6) and were not told that it would be an additional charge. I get they need to charge but I don t accept the lack of disclosure - let us make an informed decision. I interpreted this as shady behavior by the wait staff who want to inflate the final bill. But it directly hurts the server as I lowered my typical 20% tip to cover that additional charge. Plus, it makes the resto look cheap - nickel and diming clients is how a brand gets diminished. We would not return in light of the many great steak establishments in YYC. I do quite a few business meals at steak spots and would avoid Caesar s as a result. The negative word of mouth when I tell my friend families and colleagues is also not great for the resto s reputation.

the service was good but one of the bus boys worked their butts off while the other was no where to be seen. The other one popped in time to time to do a little task but for a solid 30 minutes I did not see the other one and overheard the one doing all the work complain about the other one doing nothing. I m concerned about future visits with the staff

Everything tasted great, except the french onion soup. The soup was a bit mediocre. Service was great (still 5 stars) but not amazing. I would be happy to come back for future special occasions!

We usually frequent Ruth Chris or Chairman s but decided to try something new and couldn t be happier with our choice. Our server Marko went above and beyond to ensure our visit was amazing. He made us the best table side Caesar, explaining each step as he went. The steaks and sides and even the cheese toast were phenomenal. Marko, thank you for making our first visit fantastic we can t wait to come back!

Eaten here and at the downtown locations many times. Hadnt been for a few years though. Service was great as always but the consensus at the table was that the steaks were not quite as great as in the past. Slightly disappointing since the prices of the meals are now outrageously high (but in a relative way I guess food in general is like that now).

Hubby s 60th birthday went to Caesar s to celebrate, great service, great food, nice to go and enjoy an evening out to celebrate a milestone birthday.

When I told our server I couldn t have any pepper in my food as I had a sensitivity to it, he asked if I d seen a doctor for it. Inappropriate I d say. I ordered the lemon oregano chicken and it was truly the worst meal I have ever eaten. The chicken was so dry I couldn t finish it. I told the server so he could let the chef know. I thought it was the right thing to do. Big waste of money. Do not go!

Classic steakhouse.

We went here as a party of 11 for a post wedding party. They were very accommodating and the service was excellent. The food though, was Soooooo goood! Caesars is now in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Calgary. Cant wait to go back.

One of the best steak houses i went to. From outside it looks a small no so prominent place . However when you work in ....ita is very very elegant . Amazing friendly staff. Food was great and some were prepared at the table.which was a nice experience . Drinks were good . Prices are high but its worth it. Suitable for small groups and couples. Parking: Its in a small strip mall like area so there is ample parking

We had a nice dinner but for $257 we should have had an amazing dinner! The filet mignon was under seasoned as was the broccolini, and the cheese bread was soggy! The scampi saved the meal! The lobster was also pretty decent! My husbands napkin had hair in it and besides replacing the napkin and cutlery nothing was said or done besides the waitress saying sorry! We love to go to Cactus club cafe and we had a bad experience one time and the manager was at our table instantly to apologize and our dinner and drinks were paid for by the restaurant after wards! No manager came and nothing was done about the hair. Won t be back!

The prices are high. The food is mediocre. I won t go back. I would suggest chairman s or cattle barons.

10 stars for service. Delicious food as well. Ordered onion soup, golden beet salad, filet mignon, rack of lamb and veal. Everything was so tender and great. Thanks for providing such a great experience for my father in laws 80th bday.

The Baked potato is the best in the world with the cheese toast

This was a very high end dining experience. Absolute professionalism in every way. Danny was an excellent server and we truly enjoyed the evening. Vegetarian options: Salads and a vegetarian main plus many vegetable sides. Dietary restrictions: I am GF, DF, egg free and had no issues eating there.

Expensive for what you get

Superb food, beyond amazing service and nice place. On the expensive side but definitely worth it!

Old fashioned, red wine, Caesar salad, t-bone, cognac and cheesecake. Perfect.

Now that they have GF Worcestershire Sauce, the Caesar salad is for everyone. Just have to say no to the croutons. Excellent meal and service. Dietary restrictions: They have now swapped out the Lee & Perrins, which had Barley in it. Now bits Frenchs. Just have to say not to croutons. Parking: Lots of space to park and leave vehicle overnight if necessary.

Worst steak Ive had in a while. IHOP was better. Downtown location is night and day.

Amazing dinner out with friends staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the table side ceasar salad and cherries Jubilee. Highly recommend.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. From the minute we walked in we felt welcomed and taken care of! Between the exceptional food and genuine service, we had a very positive and memorable experience. We look forward to our next visit!

Reached out to them for a private room booking, for some year end planning for our team, willing to meet their minimum spend but because there are only 3 of us, they said they were unwilling to see us. Will never come to this place now!

We usually go to the downtown location, but last night we went to this location! Service was not as good as the other location and it was unorganized, two of my friends order rare steak but their steak was medium after we notice they tried to change it and it takes a long time. The other thing was, my friend was eating his steak and the server took his plate! And the last thing the burger had spice-like cumin and its taste was so weird!!

This was probably the best steak I ve ever had. Both sides and all around had a beautiful thin layer of char. Inside it was like butter and flavouring was perfect! I ordered a twice baked potato, the man put a huge dollop of sour cream, which maybe some would have thought too much, but I love it and it saved me from asking for more, lol. Service was fantastic. Lovely woman that was patient, as we took our time, but also made recommendations for wine, spirits, etc. Just a wonderful dinner overall

Wanted to have a nice night out to celebrate my last exam of the semester. My fiancé suggested this steakhouse as he d been there before and I never had. The hostess was great, sweet and prompt. The server on the other hand was rude. When he looked at my fiancé, who is indigenous, he rolled his eyes. He poured us water, didn t say a word to us, spilled ice on my menu didn t wipe it up or apologize, didn t tell us anything about the menu, did not even say hello. I asked what was good on the menu and all he said was the ribeye and before my fiancé could even ask a question the server had walked away. We were so unimpressed we left. We even heard him being rude and short with his hostess. Our servers name was Ryan H according to our bill for the drinks we did get. We called to leave a complaint with the manager and felt she didn t take our concerns seriously. We are seriously unimpressed. We drove to Seton to eat at Starbelly instead. Service has been amazing here.

Been here many times over the years and this was by far the worst experience I ve had. Ryan H the server treated my fiancé and I terribly, zero introduction zero customer service. It was my fiancés first time to this restaurant and she came on my recommendation and now she couldn t be bothered to ever go back. Can t say I blame her and I myself will also take my business elsewhere.

Good food

Have been coming here for a number of years, good food and service, probably 50 to 70 dinners/lunches at least personal and business. Last two visits ensured that I will not step foot in this place again. Both times called 15 min in advance, asked for a table in the lounge, was told that I can just come in with no reservation and I would be seated right away. Both times after walking in was told by a very unprofessional team lead that they are booked solid in the lounge, reservation is required and they can t seat me. Take it or leave it attitude - could be expected from a cheap restaurant. Complete disconnect between the folks answering phone calls and staff on the ground - waste of my time and no respect to clients. Caesar s owners - enjoy the high times now and don t publish petty-full articles (you know what I mean) in a paper when things slow down and you have limited core (loyal and corporate) clients to keep your business going.

The thing about Caesar s is that they really Know how to both cook and season a steak. Done the old fashioned way. The way it should be.

By far one of the most iconic steak joints in Calgary! Never disappoints. Great staff and service. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. Cheese bread is to die for. Feels like youre in Rome!

There to meet a friend for a drink and then for a business dinner. Great food, great service. The only reason for 4 star instead of 5 was that the lady at the front kept telling me that I needed a reservation to be there. She really didnt seem too welcoming. Granted they were quite busy and she was much better when she finally realized that despite being at the bar for a drink, I was part of a group reservation. All in all though, it was a good experience.

Weve been coming here for years and had our wedding anniversary dinner here last night. We will never come back again. The appetizers were sub par and our steaks come out burnt and black. The worst part was the attitude of the manager who continued to argue it was normal. Steak is our go to for dining out and we are very familiar with how steaks should be done. My steak was literally black with the black crust flaking off, extremely bitter to taste. After a couple of long debate with the manager Milly, he finally agreed to remake another day. The refire took a long time, my husband food was either going to be cold or he would have to eat without me for warm food. The new steak was a tiny piece far from the 10.5 oz I ordered. After all this, not even an apology. Just a generalized feeling of we were in the wrong and awkwardness. I cannot believe this is the customer service of a high end steak restaurant. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Highly recommend the Epicurean! Steak was was cooked to perfection and tasted divine. Loved the wild rice & mushrooms. Server recommend cucumber and tomato side.. was a nice balance with the steak, rice and broccolini.
