We had a wonderful dinner at Ruths Chris. My guests couldn t stop talking about how good everything was the appetizers, steaks, and even the sticky toffee dessert. Every dish we ordered was a hit! Nick, our server, was fantastic and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I ordered the t bone ruth special and the potatoes gratin. This food took me back to my second year at culinary arts school days at sait with my friends and my chef. What a experience 10/10

I came here with my family and the food was cooked to perfection! The service staff were very attentive and made our experience so much more special. We had the banana cream pie and key lime pie for dessert and they tasted amazing as always.

It is tye perfect place for a business dinner or celebration. Each dish was absolutely delicious and the servers were all attentive and friendly. I look forward to going back.

The food was decent and the ambiance was enjoyable. However, our experience was marred by a significant issue. We had special guests with us and, as a gesture, we assumed they would want to pay. However, since we were hosting, we didn t want them to cover the bill. We called the restaurant in advance to request that no other guests be allowed to pay or even be informed of the bill, and they assured us that they will take care of it. Despite this arrangement, it was extremely embarrassing and disappointing when the manager handed a copy of the bill to our guests. This oversight spoiled an otherwise pleasant evening.

My go to steakhouse has always been RC for over 25 yrs. So happy to find you in Calgary. The filet mignon was like buttah... on that sizzling hot plate. Wonderful meal loved the lobster mac! Top notch service thank you to Matt, Hani, n Shane! But what my 83 yr old dad said had me lmao! He said, its as big as a tire!

Excellent food and service!

My fiancé and love to come here for all of our celebrations, big or small! We have never had a disappointing experience here! We are always blown away with how amazing the food is every single time! We leave stuffed and with left overs every single time! The bartender Marc has served us multiple times and is very patient and knowledgeable. The team at Ruths is always such a pleasure to deal with, the hospitality is unmatched anywhere else in the city. These guys really know how to go above and beyond, and how to make a normal day special!

I do love this place go in person or order delivery every special occasion - take clients here - but major issues ordering through Door Dash. Tired 2 days in a row with zero success. Everyone just seemed to just not care - sorry it s an app issue. I called the restaurant as well with no resolution. Guess I need to find another go to. Maybe it s a one time issue which I would understand .but the fact Door Dash or the restaurant doesn t care - doesn t sit well with me. Disappointed by lack of response or caring. Sorry - breaks my heart - but gotta call it out.

It was very good, but for the price, Id expect something OMGOMGOMGOMG. It wasnt that. The only think remarkable was the bill. OMGOMGOMG. Ive been to finer restaurants, and had better experiences and food, for far less. Go to the Keg: you could get food thats 95% as good, for a price thats 1/3 of Ruths Chris.

Quite disappointed in our meal tonight, the filet mignon was of a vary poor cut, fatty and gristle, no flavor. Lobster bisk was vary bland. The highlight was the calamari which was exceptional and service great as usual but for a steakhouse I feel I could have had a better steak at a pub.

Matt was attentive greeting us and made sure the service was perfect for our stay The food was excellent and the service was even better! Ruth s Chris Calgary deserves more than 5 stars. From the moment we entered the restaurant, and throughout the entirety of the meal, the customer service was exceptional. Our server did his absolute best to accommodate our various special requests. In terms of the meal itself, every single cut of meat was cooked to perfection and I can confidently say I have never had a better steak in my life. The sides were delicious, I highly recommend the sweet potato casserole. Hats off to all of the Ruth s Chris staff, absolutely amazing experience and I will definitely be making this my go to place for a night out. I highly recommend anyone visiting Calgary, or Calgarians alike, to pay a visit to Ruth s Chris for an out of this world experience.

We went in for the YYC Experience and we were so impressed. It was our first time but definitely not our last! Everything was fabulous!

Birthday dinner at Ruths Chris and it couldnt have been better: ambiance, service, food and beverages. So many happy birthdays from the staff and a special dessert that they let me choose. The evening could not have been better! Our evening was part of the YYC Food Experience and all the courses were delicious. They also cover the parking in the Calgary Tower lot which is a really nice add. We will be back....thank you!

This place was nice and cozy, all staff were friendly, and highly trained. We tried a ribeye, halibut, and some appetizers. The food itself was average but the star of the show was their crème brûlée. Their pastry chef is top notch.

Me and my boyfriend spent our second anniversary here and everything was spectacular as first time visitors. We had Terry as our server who was very helpful with suggestions and all the staff were just very sweet overall. We started with the lobster bisque which was a great appetizer. We both then shared the stuff chicken breast and ribeye which were full of flavour and cooked to perfection! We ended the night with some free dessert of crème brûlée and chocolate sin cake and both desserts just melted in our mouths and wasn t too sweet. Definitely coming back soon!

So I don t ever write reviews. However last night we went to this steakhouse by accident! We were supposed to go to the Calgary tower but I messed up and booked here instead. That was the best mistake of our lives. I didn t know this place existed. Yes the prices are expensive but the food here is absolutely delicious. Hands down the best steak, scalloped potatoes and asparagus we have ever had. The cocktails were out of this world as well! We had the porterhouse for two and one of the chefs came out to our table when it was done to serve it to us and they were so professional about it. I m not one to spend that much for dinner. However if you don t go out often and you want to take your significant other for a nice dinner. I promise you won t be disappointed! Also shout out to my server laura and everyone who helpedfinding a place for me and my wife to go for drinks after! The speak easy was delightful and king eddy was a great time! Eating here is a must! Thank you for making our evening so very special!

Went to Ruth Chris for my birthday and it was an amazing meal. Delicious food, shareable sides (they arent kidding about family style), and they have a kids menu too. Service was phenomenal and the staff were great; our server Medhane made our night memorable! Parking: Park in the Calgary Tower Parkade, Ruth Chris will validate your ticket before you leave. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and definitely felt comfortable bringing our young daughter.

First off the bread is not fresh baked bread with the crust. Basically they are hawaiian rolls from the store that have been warmed up. Super big let down. Whenever I have gone to a nice restaurant they always have crusty bread full of flavor. These were literally buns out of a bag from superstore. Got the calamari and it was overcooked and very chewy. The sauce was good but very unexpected. I wanted a peppery crusted soft calamari and instead the breading was falling off, the sauce was the same sweet chili sauce I have in my fridge, and the calamari was so tough. Dont waste your money on that. Honestly original Joes calamari was better. But still I have had top of the line extremely soft calamari and this came no where close. We also got the onion soup. It was alright. Classic onion soup. Did the prime time menu. The lobster bisque was not good. And it is supposedly a RC favorite?... it was very salty and fishy (like more than a fresh lobster fishy- more like 2 day old fish). I complained to my waiter and they brought me a full salad in exchange but then charge me for both. Super infuriating. If you dont make a good dish you comp it. The Cesar salad was a classic Cesar salad. Nothing to write home about. The steak was very good. I have had steak the good in other places that were not that expensive, but good non the less. The side left me very dissatisfied. The creamed spinach was basically frozen spinach that had been thawed and mixed with cream. There was very little salt and tasted like grass... not sure how they messed that up. Then the au gratin was undercooked. You should never have to eat a potato that is al dente. And we ordered a side of asparagus and mushrooms which both were good. It is just unfortunate that we spend all this money to have an EXPERIENCE only to be left wanting more for what I could have made at home. Or gone to the cattle baron or another lower tier steak house and gotten the same thing. Overall I will never go back. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Shared my 35th wedding Anniversary with my Husband on March 17th. We ordered off the Yyc Menu it was Fantastic. The Steak was one of the finest prepared I ve had. The whole meal , was served by very professional Staff. They knew it was our anniversary so they provided a signed card and a beautiful complementary dessert for us to celebrate with. Class all the way.

Calgarys best

With a party of 6 our server was a rock star! He was pleasant, efficient and perfectly time! The booth was super comfy and spacious for 6 people. Our mains were incredible! We had steak, lobster, crab, chicken, and mac and cheese among our group! So good, the appies were our reason for the 4. We would go back in a heart beat, but would just skip appies and go right for mains.

We had the party room. Steak was delicious with the buttery finish. Perhaps dedicate another server as one was not enough for 20 people. Drinks were empty 60% the time.

Amazing steakhouse experience in the heart of downtown. The restaurant is clean warm and welcoming. The service was very attentive with the right amount of interaction from the staff. My steak (New York Strip) was cooked to perfect temperature, and the onion rings on the side were the best ever. Highly recommend the Chocolate Sin cake for dessert

Amazing food and excellent service!

I stopped by Ruth s Chris in downtown Calgary quite a while ago. The atmosphere and service were good. Their crab cake and creme brulee are must try items and I d give these 9/10. Their steak (ribeye) was pretty good.

Came in with a friend to have some steak. It was very busy but the server treated us like we were the only ones in the room. Gave very great recommendations, they also ensured that all my requests made it to the kitchen. Had the Petit Filet and it was cooked to perfection while also being seasoned to perfection. Server did an excellent job of giving us lots of time to visit without interrupting us to take care of us but we never went without! Can t wait to go back!

This place has been around for years, and I had not visited since before covid and I am sad I let it go this long! I must say, the staff alone are a reason to visit here. The hosts were so pleasant upon arrival and had our table ready and sat immediately. The restaurant was very very busy, but we were never rushed or treated any other way than with utmost priority. The server was bubbly and very knowledgeable. I am a ribeye fan and love rare steak, she suggested medium rare to medium so the fat was rendered correctly and she was 100% correct. The steak was fabulous! She recommended a great red wine and was checking in often but never intrusive. Danielle the GM was so pleasant and caring and checked in on us twice to ensure all was on point. The floor managers also ensured our service and food were fantastic. Creme brulee was a standout (even when full, i will find room for this moving fwd). Will be back regularly, such a fantastic experience.

I am giving Hani 5 stars for his excellent service and knowledgable. My family and I love the food. The ladies up front are not that friendly. When we left at the restaurant. They didnt even say bye or say something that makes the customer feels to come back .

We found the service to be excellent. They were attentive without being annoying and always professional. However, we found the food to be problematic and overpriced. We knew it would be overpriced because thats how Ruths Chris operates, so that wasnt a surprise. What was a surprise was the actual meal. The halibut was dry enough that we had to send it back and crabs legs were stringy and cool (but not bad enough to send back.) In fairness they did replace the halibut with a much better version. As far as the atmosphere goes it was quite nice with proper linens but we felt did not justify the expense. Again, the service was excellent and they adjusted the check without any prompting from us. Overall I would rate it a four out of five, but quite a distance from the 5 out of 5 were anticipating.

Pricey restaurant and beautiful interior, the view from the window is okay because it s just out to the street. Overall a good meal though! The lobster mac and cheese was good but I wish it with sides and it was just a smaller portion so it s not just one-note throughout - sides are available for extra but they re pricey. The standout however was the dessert, the crème brûlée was divine. Our waiter was also lovely and very accommodating.

I visited this steak house with my family and was pleasantly surprised with the service. There was a bit of a waiting time which was not really nice, but then we got our spot and the steak came out good. The lady attendant was super nice and engaged everyone in good conversation and was really welcoming. On the quality of food vs pricing, I felt it was really overpriced! I guess the ambience and location also costs a lot, so customers bear the brunt too. In all, the experience was good but if you re visiting, prepare for an expensive outing. My second time going to Ruths Chris and again it was amazing. My rib eye melted in my mouth, and all our other appetizers were delicious, especially the crab cakes. Thank you to the staff that made this a great experience.

I was sick for almost 24 hours after eating here. My husband and I went to Ruths Chris; he had the steak with a baked potato and I had the stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were weirdly pepper-y and the plates come to the table sizzling so hot that you have to wait 15 minutes before you can have a bite of your food. Even worse, upon getting home, I became so sick from the food that I had painful diarrhea for 18 hours. I am unsure as to whether this came from the amount of butter in my food (between the mashed potatoes and the chicken, there was at least a half cup of butter that my food was swimming in) or whether I got food poisoning. I have heard great things about this place but I was left feeling underwhelmed and becoming so sick from a meal was a major turn-off. Parking: They will validate your parking.

Stayed here just after Christmas with a few friends who werent very familiar with a fine dining. Our server Scott was very helpful at explaining the menu to make sure we got exactly what we wanted while also cracking a few jokes, making us feel more than welcome. 80$ for a steak that should of costed 15$. Everything overly buttered. Your face is covered in butter from the steak sitting in front of you. Fork and knife sliding out of your hands because the butter splattered everywhere. Its been 5 hours and I can still feel the butter in my mouth.

My favorite place to go. Literally this Ruth s. It s pretty hard to beat the atmosphere, looking into the busy street while sitting in the tower. The architectural detail is amazing and is decorated well. But what really takes the cake is the level of service they put into the experience of going there. It is NEVER subpar, you are ALWAYS taken care of by a team that truly cares. We have been to a Ruth s now in a different city that just doesn t compare (and at a higher price, too!). Oh ya, the mashed potatoes can t be beat. And make sure you get the banana pie dessert. Best.

Was a pretty lack luster experience. Our waiter was off putting (cant put my finger on it, maybe a little arrogant?), steak was under cooked and bland, cocktails not bad. If you are willing to pay these prices, go to Chairmans.

Had v day tenderloin for two, ordered medium rare, but the middle part of the meat was way too raw. Sides were in large portion though, creamed spinach, lobster bisque, etc. not bad. Grilled shrimps were good. Service was okay, wished they would have asked us if we were still working on the bread before they took them away.. cocktails were good though.. with the same price range I have had better experiences from other steakhouses. Ruth s Chris didn t impress me at all.

Expensive for sure. What you get in service and quality is however definitely worth it. While most high end restaurants in Calgary have forgotten what customer service means, this place has continued to excel. An amazing place with amazing food. Ribeye and fillet minions were so delicious. Definitely try the deserts too. Loved the cheesecake. The free parking after 5 was just cherry on top.

I have been here a couple of times and came for my birthday dinner with my family last evening. The food was amazing and the entire staff was so kind!

Highly recommend the seared ahi tuna and the artichoke dip. The petit fillet (steak) was cooked perfectly to medium rare as requested, however tasted too greasy and lacked some seasonings overall. The housemade cheesecake was delicious and a great way to finish off our night.

Had the pleasure of dining here last night for a birthday dinner, the reservation process was simple and when we arrived the table was decorated with subtle happy birthday confetti. Service was fantastic and the meal was very good, definitely recommend the seafood tower.

The porterhouse steak for two we ordered has set the bar high now for how I want my steak, and the banana cream pie is wow! I recommend this place for celebrations worth of great memories! The server seemed to be professional, but he wasnt. He just visited our table once to take our order, and he didnt come back again until it was time for him to collect the money. He didnt waste any time in asking if we were celebrating a special occasion. He even stood at the table and stared at the receipt to see how much money we had given him and finally smiled. Even though the service was terrible, it was probably best that we still gave him a decent tip. For two people, our bill came to nearly $350. For the money we spent, we did not expect to be treated in this manner.

Delicious!

Went here for the first time for a birthday dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and our server, Jade, was awesome. Birthday confetti was sprinkled on the table and there was a birthday card and a complimentary birthday dessert which was a nice touch. Food arrived quickly, and although my steak tasted good, it was overcooked. I asked for rare and it was more medium. The sauteed broccolini was a bit chewy. For dessert I had the chocolate cake but it tasted more like coffee than chocolate (I hate coffee!). The server replaced it for a creme brulee, which was very good. Would I eat here again? Probably not. Although the ambience was good and the staff seemed friendly, I feel that the food was not worth the money.

Amazing meal with a great view if youre sitting in the main dining room. We go every few months on soecial occasions and it never disappoints! We had our now regular server Medhane with us tonight and he make sure we were taken care as usual. Highly recommend Ruths!

Went for a company dinner today. The steak tasted super delicious. It was very juicy. I planned to bring my wife to eat. My wife liked their desert very much. The cheesecake was the best she had ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best fine dining experience in Calgary. If I could give them more stars I would. I love their spicy shrimp so yesterday I stopped just to have the shrimp nothing else and they were magnificent as usual, splendid service even tho I was there to have a just appetizer. At the end of the night I forgot my phone at the table so when I came back to get my phone they had it charged because they noticed it was running low on battery. HOW AMAZING IS THAT!! They re lovely ALL of them!!!!

If youre into the old-school steakhouse vibe, Ruths Chris is the place to go! Great steaks and classic sides - but service sets them apart. Had my brother-in-laws reception there (25 of us ) - was definitely worth it. Scott, our service lead, was nothing short of spectacular - efficient, friendly while maintaining a professional approach, anticipated (rather than responded to) our needs. Just pure class all the way.

My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary today. We had dinner at Ruth Chris restaurant at Calgary Tower. All the staff were exceptional from the moment we walked in. Our hats off to Scott our server, he was the best. We were very pleased with all the support staff as well. We will definitely be back soon.

This is our go-to restaurant for celebrations. We re from Lethbridge but try to come up a couple times a year, if we can. The food is always incredible, and the service is unmatched. Hani is probably one of the best servers we ve ever had, anywhere; we re always excited to see him and catch up. Thank you, to all the staff, for always making us feel so welcomed. You re the best of the best, in our opinion.

Consistent and delicious

Had a family special occasion dinner - service was friendly and professional. Steaks are always wonderful, all desserts are delicious. I was not particularly happy about the lobster bisque, for the 1st time it tasted like a soup from a can, very thick. Hopefully, it will not be the case next time we visit the restaurant. Overall, given the standard of service it was a great visit! Thank you for a memorable meal.

Still think this is the best tasting steak in all of Calgary. Chairmans wins for ambiance as Ruth Chris could use a modern makeover, but the food is definitely some of the best you can find in Calgary. The service is also much better than most venues in the city. Troy took care of us tonight and he has to be the best server weve ever had -- personable, super attentive and just a really cool guy. Thank you for an excellent night eating at your tasty establishment!

I absolutely hate to do this because Ruth s Chris Edmonton is our favorite restaurant to go to. We take family members that visit Edmonton, and anytime we are celebrating an anniversary or achievement. Sadly, the Calgary location didn t quite live up to our Edmonton standards. We had specified when making the reservation that we were taking our Irish family (my new in laws) for the first time and that we were 4 days post wedding day, so on our honeymoon through the mountains. Usually when we go to Edmonton we are given a card signed by staff which I add to our anniversary box, and a dessert on the house in celebration. Unfortunately none of the above happened. On top of that, everything that we normally order in Edmonton is considered an extra at the Calgary location - we wanted asparagus which was an up charge, baked potato was an up charge, banana cream pie was an up charge. Normally these are just items we select on the regular preset 3 course menu. I unfortunately would not recommend the Calgary location - however, if you re in Edmonton, definitely head over!

Breakfast buffet was amazing! Loved the smoked salmon egg benedict, lamb skewer, AND brisket! To top it off, we had a wonderful view of the Stampede Parade If you ever come to Calgary for the Stampede, you MUST book reservations here to eat and enjoy the parade with a great view. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Unfortunately I do t recall the gentlemen s name who waited on us, he was the definition of classic service, attentive, caring and very social. Also decor is on par with classic Ruth s Chris. Clearly management is on everything, place was spotless clean. Always will revisit.

A very pleasant dinner in this restaurant located opposite our hotel. The welcome and service are warm and professional. The portions are very generous, I recommend the cheesecake for dessert, a delight. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is completely wheelchair accessible.

Went to have dinner with a couple of my friends. Lovely experience, food was delicious (really recommend the Thai Chicken as an appetizer) and service was exceptional. Everything you can expect from a well-known fine dining steakhouse! Best in the city! Parking: Vallidated if parking at the Palliser Parkade lot on 10th ave.

Should have know better, only couple in there at 6pm. The Salad was brown, they brought back more brown salad! The Steaks were dry and over cooked, and veggies overdone! Never again

One of the iconic traditional steak houses in town. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese. Parking: The restaurant subsidizes parking for a couple hours.

Scott was the host for our private event and was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and made some great recommendations based upon our preferences. He made our experience that much better. Food was delicious and steaks were cooked perfect.

Extremely disappointed with thus Ruths Chris. First, my salad came with the worst ranch dressing, zero flavor. The manager agreed so they took the salad off my bill. Next, I ordered the petit filet and it was so salty that I could barely eat it. AND I love salty food so if I think something is salty, things are bad. Lastly, I sat at the bar and they had a broom just standing up against the bar like it was a janitorial closet. Im the biggest Ruths Chris fan you can find and I go to these restaurants in every city possible so this location is not standing up to the brand. My bartender was extremely nice so his service is the only reason this location gets 1 star instead of 0.

Almost seven hundred dollars for four of us to eat the atrocities served to us last night. I dont even have words to describe how horrible the food was. The steaks had a horrible taste and were sinewy and chewy. Mashed potatoes were for sure from a box. The shrimp cocktail was limp and old tasting and the crab cakes were wet, fell apart and just gross. My crab legs were still frozen at one end. We didnt bother with dessert. The drinks were weak and I know it wasnt the Hendricks I ordered. And to boot regular water is two dollars..... But endless, gee thanks. I hope the Ruth Chris corporate staff read this as we will never set foot in another one again based on this horribly disappointing experience. We were so excited and didnt eat all day in anticipation..... We gave the 90% of all our take home steak to our dogs and grabbed a snack to get through the night. Beautiful location and our server Adam was very nice but my god what a vile waste of good money. You should be ashamed Ruth Chris.

A few months ago, Ruths Chris Grill advertised that they offer Halal options. My friends and I decided to go there and have some steaks. However, it turned out to be false advertising. They only had a low grade, 12-ounce third-class rib eye steak. Although their chicken and lamb were Halal, we were not interested in eating chicken at a steakhouse. Furthermore, the steak was served in a tiny plate with poor presentation, reminiscent of a low-cost motel. The ambiance of the place was also below average. Therefore, I recommend avoiding Ruths Chris Grill and going to other Halal steakhouses in the area. I wish I could give them a zero rating. It was a big disappointment.

Last Friday, I visited this steakhouse with friends for the first time. The halal steak options are very limited and available off the menu. A medium rare 12oz halal ribeye with half fat arrived at the table floating in butter in a tiny plate. The meat quality is guarantied not premium. I felt sick (literally) after eating at this steakhouse and will never go there again. I was not impressed with the service and ambience at this place. Totally ruined my weekend.

My partner and I dined at Ruth s Chris last night and had such a great time. Service was fantastic and ribeye and filet were both so delicious and flavourful! Will be returning soon for sure.

I was told this is the best steakhouse in Calgary and it was absolutely correct. I do not eat beef but my partner does and for her birthday we visited Ruth s Chris steakhouse and I was thrilled to see how much she, and I of course, enjoyed the food. Our server was amazing and the food was so scrumptious. My partner ordered Petit Filet (with béarnaise sauce) and shoe strings fries and steamed broccoli to share while I ordered lamb chops. The portion sizes for sides were huge. Lamb chops were the best I ever had and my partner enjoyed every mouthful of her petit filet. We had just enough room for desserts and while my partner ordered a warm apple crumb tart (they had a candle on it with happy birthday written) which was so big and delicious (and we had to take some home), I ordered a creme brûlée. I would definitely visit again and enjoy their warm hospitality and yummy foods. Parking: After 5pm, Ruth s Chris steakhouse would pay for your parking. Make sure you speak about it to your server. They will give you a pass to put on the parking machine. First it will be your ticket you got when entering, then it s the ticket you got from them.

My partner took me here to celebrate my birthday. Everything about this place was great. I had a petit filet and it was hands down the best steak I have had here in Canada. My partner had the lamb chops, which also tasted amazing. We shared some shoestring fries, which I enjoyed, my only issue is the cone shaped dish they are served in. It does look great, but it is difficult to get the fries out of it. I also would have preferred a larger plate than the one the steak came on, so I could comfortable put my fries and broccoli on it too. But that s just me. I got a free dessert as it was my birthday which was a lovely thing for the restaurant to do. (I had the apple pie and vanilla ice cream and enjoyed it was mouth watering.) The level of service and ambience is 5 star. If you haven t been here yet, I can t recommend it highly enough! Thank you for making my birthday truly special! Parking: The restaurant will give you a special refund ticket if you eat there, so free parking!

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my husband. I love the ambience and the atmosphere. The food was delicious and sevice was excellent.

Great service. Celebrated 2 birthdays, We were seated in a booth n a side room that held about 5 other dining tables. It was nice, but not super elegant (which is what my perception was given via photos on the website). We each ordered rib-eye steak, a hearty 10oz for my friend, a 6oz for me, and we shared mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms -at the servers suggestion. I had a very small Caesar salad. He had a martini, I had a virgin mojito, and we had a glass of water each. The steaks were served/grilled as ordered, and the food arrived sizzling hot. It was very tasty, and I took home half of my steak as it was too much for me to eat in one sitting. When the server brought the final tally, I was flabbergasted as I watched my friend count out $250! Although it was good, it was not extraordinary. I find that this is an outrageous price to pay. My friend said that his steak alone was $80! As per the menu, my full dinner - salad, steak, potatoes, and mushrooms - should have been $55. Our parking was validated by the concierge. Thank goodness for that. This was definitely a once and a lifetime experience. We both agreed we would rather have gone to Caesars Steakhouse. Parking: Parking is validated by the restaurant concierge if you park in the Palliser Square plus 15 West parking lot. It is difficult to find your way to the restaurant once off the parking elevator as the signage to the restaurant is poor. Ourselves, and two other parties were left wandering the hallways because we did not see any signage to the restaurant. Perhaps if it was a little bigger or more prominent we would have been at the restaurant as per our reservation. It turned out the entrance to the restaurant is hidden behind an escalator across from the elevators. As I said, signage is poor we didnt see it.

I was very excited to come to Ruth s for my birthday. I had already heard nothing but good things and was not disappointed! They delivered and exceeded any expections I had. Making my birthday special they had a card and birthday confetti ready at the table. From the house manager over seeing everything and seating us us to our server Hani who had incredible recommendations and made everything about our visit special - I was blown away! Being our first time visiting everything was explained in how Ruth s was different from any other steak restaurant and things we needed to know. While reviewing the menu all our questions were answered and at no time time did I feel overwhelmed or like I was asking a silly question. We were not rushed to make decisions and were carefully checked on to make sure we were enjoying our meals and drinks. The calamari was fabulous - it was fresh, lightly battered with a little bit of kick, but not over whelming. I got a appetizer salad that was refreshing and dressed well. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and was so tender and full of flavour, we shared our sides (asparagus and sautéed mushrooms) that complimented the meal well and the sizes were plentiful! Meals came with deserts but being too full we took home to continue the experience at a later time. I would recommend this restaurant anyone who asked and will be returning in the future! My experience at Ruths Chris was divine. The best lemon drop I have had in my life (coconut ginger lemon drop). Also the best steak Ive ever had (petit filet with prawns). Our table also ordered the calamari, crab cakes, scalloped potatoes, cremini mushrooms, and flourless chocolate cake. Every single thing was perfect!

Had a birthday celebrated with them, just two of us. It was a great experience right from start to end. Happy staff, Hani was helping us with the food and he was very good at his job, food was good !! Had spicy shrimps, lemon thigh chicken, Rib eye steaks, virgin drinks, a birthday cake from the house, a birthday card, and other nice birthday supplies and all i had to do was to mention birthday at the time of online reservation. We got treated in a great way. I parked at the Calgary tower parkade and they validated the ticket as well. Must try !!

The only thing which made us feel really bad was a people sitting next to us, getting drunk and using such below belt language with each other. We were accompanied with our beautiful children. Any how the ambience and food was up to mark. Only if the hotel management do few managing amendments by serving alcohol only in the bar side. Regards
