Very good food at very reasonable prices. The service was professional. It was very loud (the restaurant was full) however, I want to emphasize that the food was absolutely PERFECT, and I was impressed by the prices. I will be back for sure :-)

Wellingtons has been a go to for special dinners for almost a decade. The staff is professional and friendly and attentive. The ceaser salad made table side is a must. Weve had both steak and prime rib and its always perfect. The decore is a throwback to the classic steakhouse and is warm and inviting.

Have lived in Calgary for 23 years and always meant to go check it out but always ended up somewhere else. I am now sorry I waited so long. Everything was fantastic. I had the beef Wellington and it was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.

Get the table side Cesar Salad.

Food was amazing. Wellington was cooked perfectly and flavor was fantastic. We also had the escargot, oysters, and calamari. All cooked to perfection. Tried the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was sublime. Chocolate cake was not much worth mentioning, but everything else was tops. Will definitely be going back.

Classic steakhouse, amazing Beef Wellington!

Overall, the experience was mid. The service was pretty non-existent. We constantly had empty water glasses, and had to flag our waiter down multiple times to get a refill. The food was delicious however. Had the French onion soup, and the New York Strip. The atmosphere was dark, but super loud. The amount of people they have crammed into the space is ridiculous. Hardly any room to maneuver. If you get seated beside 3 large groups, ask to move if you want to be able to talk to anyone at your table.

Went there for a birthday and had high expectations cause of the reviews and price point of the food ($60 for beef Wellington). First was undercooked (came in raw/blue in the middle, they took it back and cooked up more then brought it to me overcooked). At that point didn t want to return it as I was hungry and we didn t have much time to wait again. It tasted good but not amazing as I expected. My partners steak was cooked ok though. Also no acknowledgment of the birthday except for the waiter wishing happy birthday before we left. Overall, food was good, service was great but don t think it s worth the price point

I was pretty disappointed with this experience. At first impression, the restaurant is located in a strip plaza. So not exactly a high end steak house appeal. The server was very polite and lovely. I give her and the staff credit for their friendliness. I ordered the seared tuna and it was mentioned that it s coated in peppercorns and comes with a wasabi glaze. I like spice and I particularly like wasabi with tuna. However, the peppercorns were sooooo caked on there, that s all I could taste. I couldn t even taste the tuna, just peppercorns. I was scraping them off it was so bad. Presentation was meh. Just tuna and veg, not really presented in a high end style. My friend ordered the steak and lobster. He did say his steak was good, but not the best he s had. Overall, not worth the price to me and I wouldn t be back.

The setting is nice but the food is mediocre the wellington lacked flavour and wasnt anything crazy. We came here for our anniversary and the reason I gave it a 2 star is because they brought out a plate that said happy anniversary and a candle. We couldnt stop laughing at how cheap and tacky that was. Tried this place once and never again

Have been going to wellingtons for 15years on our anniversary always great. This time a female chef did my wifes filet medallion, chard on one side little raw inside, veggies where over done. Was not happy this was on july 17. Dont know if we be back.

Denis (pronounced Den-eee) was so attentive, funny and kind! He truly made our evening out memorable and fun. The food was next level amazing as always! We had malpeque oysters to start, escargot and had the table side Cesar salad. Denis makes the MOST delicious Cesar salad! He adds a few little secrets so ask for him to be your server when making a reservation and make sure you order the Cesar salad! We had filet mignon with lobster for dinner. Both proteins cooked perfectly! Had the cheesecake for dessert and it was hands down the best cheese cake we have ever had! Thank you Denis for an amazing experience. Service has gone downhill at other establishments, but Wellingtons is always a 10/10!

Came here on a date night to try their wellington and it did not disappoint!! Puff pastry was crispy and fell apart upon cutting. Beef tenderloin was tender and paired well with earthy tones of the mushroom. The accompany Jus in gravy helped ebhanced the flavors of the beef. Each bite was a harmony of flavors. Although I am biased to say that the beef wellington at Hells kitchen LV was a tad better, this one was much much better than the Gordon ramsay restaurant one I had from years ago. Also tried hubbys steak Diane and was also great.

Food was not particularly impressive but not bad at all. I had beef wellington with baked potato. Servers were friendly and helpful. May not return for more times but definitely worth a try for at least once for some special occasions.

Had another great dinner here for my bday, and it was amazing again. From the service to the food, this place is top notch! Had our Valentines dinner here and everything about the experience was top notch. Thank you to the people of Wellingtons for making it a special night.

Came here for our anniversary today, Gemini (googles AI in messages) suggested it to me. My husband had the french onion soup. I am a huge french onion soup fan! But I 2as in a HUGE seafood mood so I got the seafood bisque. I did however have a taste of his soup and I can say BEST french onion I ever had! Even better then mine! I wanna point out I make everything at home from scratch. Its very hard for me to part with our hard earned money when eating out because 9.8 times out of 10 I am appauled at what we are charged for what we get and I often wish I just stayed home and cooked. So if I say its better than something i made Its seriously amazing! The seafood bisque was also appetizing but I did find myself wishing I got the french onion instead. Dont get me wrong the seafood bisque with brandy was very good as well! But my favorite soup is french onion. It has been my favorite ever since I had it when I was 8 Years old (im 43 now). Im serious when I say its the best french onion Ive ever had and ive been all around. i grew up in hawaii and las vegas. ive been to Australia, korea, etc etc. so yea Ive been all around and yes hands down the best Ive ever had! Ok on to the entrees! Husband had beef Wellington. I have NEVER had this dish before so I have absolutely nothing to compare it to. I have no idea what its supposed to taste like. With that said my husband ordered it med-well and I took a pretty big bite. The meat just melted in my mouth and the crust was extremely tasteful. It was flavored just fine to me so Idk what some other reviewer was talking about. They claimed it was flavorless and they had to drown it in the gravy. I have to disagree. I actually found it to be flavored just fine. In fact i would rather not drown in in gravy. I would prefer to eat it all on its own so I could enjoy the flavor of the quality beef with the crust. But we all have our preferences. I had the seafood pasta. It was very good, flavored to perfection and the pasta was a perfect texture! Then to end things I had the créme caramel. Which is basically a caramalized flan. The very top had a creamier texture and the rest of it had a more gelintinized texture. It was a delicious light desert that had perfection in every bite. Oh we did order the chili garlic prawn appetizer. It was also very tasty! Everything was perfect and the food was fanfrickentastic! We did not need to salt our dishes! Very very good! We both dont drink so I cant comment on the wine choices. I gave a 4 star instead of 5 because I made reservations online at OpenTable i couldve sworn i requested booth if possible but we were sat at a small table. The entire time we dined there was a comfy booth wide open for the taking. I will say its partially my fault for not speaking up when we were seated. However, my 4 star is based on the uncomfortable chairs. I gotta lotta cushion in my backside and my bum started hurting within 5 mins of being seated. The entire restaurant mainly has tables with these uncomfortable chairs. So thats my reasoning for 4 stars. If the chairs were more comfortable I would give 5 stars. But then again that could be a me problem and everyone else could feel differently. Oh my I almost forgot to comment on service. Everyone there is very helpful! My husband has this issue of flagging down anyone that passes by if we need something, whereas I always wait to flag down our server. However, everyone he flagged down was haooy to help and accomedate! I really have to say they are the epitome of service.

I have always heard good things about the food here. We went in to celebrate a birthday tonight, and the food did not disappoint. We had a wonderful dinner and our server was great! We will be back again soon.

Had the 10 oz ribeye, 14 oz prime rib, escargot, caesar salad, sticky toffee pudding and a couple of caesars. All excellent. Service was great. If I lived here Id be a regular.

An exceptional restaurant.

Very friendly staff. Food is excellent. Last night I had the beef dip, brussel sprouts and fresh oysters.

5 stars all around!! This place may not look like much from the outside, but once youre in, its a lovely restaurant. The service is impeccable, friendly, not too doting but never without. I felt like a part of a family. The food, out of this world. I only wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try more items. Guess Ill just have to go back! Not for a light budget but worth it for those special occasions absolutely!

Extremely busy Lounge . Lounge serves the restaurant as well as a good sized lounge. Its a time capsul back into the 80s which I love . Service is on point with servers and bartenders seriously working harder than 90% of other restaurants, Lounge and cafes I go into. Had the beef dip, au jus and house salad to which the dressing is delicious. The fries are very good as well as they actually pay attention to their cooking equipment in the kitchen Been here several times now in the past 3 months and I also find the pricing for 2024 to be entirely reasonable. Place is clean and well attended to with friendly hospitality from all staff

The Salmon wellington was really amazing. Perfectly cooked and not overdone or dry in anyway. Crust was nice and flaky. The service and staff were fabulous! Manager came out to check on our table and make sure our evening was going perfectly. Top notch customer experience, staff seem super happy to work here. Will definitely come back soon.

A very family oriented atmosphere. Fantastic service. Best rib eye steak I have ever had. Perfect medium rare, just the right amount of seasoning, melts in your mouth! We sat near where they did the grilling. The guy was amazing at keeping all the orders organized! Highly recommend!!

Had dinner with my son today.when we were in ,receptionist asked had we have a reservation,we said no.she said you want to dine in or you can be next door Oscar restaurant ,because here is fancy restaurant. I totally confused,she has to ask each client here to next door or what?

The whole experience was amazing, service and place. Noise level low to have a comfortable conversation. The only thing is the amount of salt in all the dishes. Excessive salt in dishes mean that the ingredients are not as good or fresh as advertised. If quality with ingredients is not the issue, avoid the excessive amount of salt, and invest in salt mills for the table.

Dont eat here as its not worth the price. We had ordered a couple old fashioneds that were mildly mediocre. Waiter was great but the place wasnt busy. Ive been waiting forever to eat here and she said the place was amazing but it not. We ordered the Chateaubriand which was ordered medium rare but unfortunately came out medium well and tough which was extremely disappointing. When I go to places like this Im not expecting perfection but I amexpecting a higher standard which was not met. Definitely not worth the cost even the carrots and broccoli that came with it was extremely under seasoned and once again not worth it. Theres 20 better places to go and this place is obviously living on its previous glory and have about 5 years left until they close. To bad

I loved it here. We hadnt been in ~12 years, but went today for a Birthday. The food was very good! The table side caeser salad was delicious and garlicky. My Steak Diane was tender, saucy and full of flavor. My stuffed potato with all the fixings was so good. I cant wait to go back! Kid-friendliness: If your kids will sit nicely, bring them here. We had a great experience.

Went for the first time, but will certainly be back! The food and service were both amazing, our glasses were never empty before our waitress was checking if a refill was needed, and even the manager came out to ensure we were enjoying our meal. My husband and I rarely get date nights without our kids. We got a sitter the other day and went to Wellingtons and havent been this happy with a dinner out in a long, long time! Everything from the service (our waitress was amazing), the Ceasar drink, and our appetizers/dinner was nothing but amazing. My husband is extremely picky with steak when he goes out, and 2 days later, hes still thinking about his amazing dinner haha. Highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back again soon!

First time going to Wellingtons. Took my boyfriend for his birthday and we both were VERY happy. The service was spot on and everything we got we were happy with. Peppercorn steak and steak Neptune were both 10/10!!! Will be going back forsure. Recommend to anyone who wants an amazing steak.

This is an old school steakhouse which has been around for 40 years. They have kept the dishes you would expect to have seen in the 90s like steak dianne. The steaks are cooked to perfection and are amazingly tender. You can watch the steaks being grilled as it is done in a small area surrounded by glass in the dining area. The stuffed potato was quite nice. The mushrooms were delicious. Their hollandaise sauce is delicate. Their beef wellington is delicious with a tender pastry wrapping a cooked-to-order steak. The fois gras was pleasant and the sauce is delicious. Most of their desserts are made in-house. The cheesecake is tall, light, and creamy. It is a set cheecake as opposed to a baked cheesecake. The wait staff was amazing. The service is prompt and efficient yet the staff are not in your face frequently. The staff is knowledgeable about their products and careful with allergies.

We went here this past Saturday for dinner with friends (it was their first time, we have been a few times). Having been here before I was disappointed by a few things, the bread came cold with 4 small hard butter rolls, our calamari appetizer was overcooked and rubbery, dinner was good, my steak was delicious, my husband had the chicken (he wanted the halibut but they did not have any, apparently issues getting it in) which he said was good, our friends had steak and lamb, the only complaint there was no mint sauce for the lamb. The service however was not good at all. Our servers name was Carlos, he was very demanding, loud and intrusive bordering on rude, constantly interrupting us without so much as an excuse me. My husband requested an Disaronno for his drink, Carlos said they did not carry it and did not know what this was, my husband told him it was an amaretto and Carlos snapped why did you not say that first. He demanded that we order our dinner immediately (my friend asked if we could order appetizers first while we were deciding what we wanted and he told her no). During dinner he leaned across our food and us several times, he pushed between our friends, pushing my friends husband out of the way to talk at her. I can honestly say it was the worst service I have had at a restaurant in a while. Although we (us and our friends) both tipped him as we did not want to be that customer(we had separate bills) it was not a high tip (15 and 18%). Immediately after we paid he stood not 5 feet from our table obviously complaining to another server about the tip waving his hands and gesturing to our table and another that had just left. I will say I am highly disappointed and if we return I would not allow him to serve us again.

Our Christmas gift to our family this year was a special dinner at Wellingtons. The nine of us really enjoyed the evening! The food and service was outstanding! Lana really looked after us!! I now know where to if you want Rack of Lamb, it was the best I have ever had! Thank you! Food

Went to Wellingtons lounge this evening. The lounge is a dark, relaxed atmosphere that offers the menus for both Wellingtons and Oscars. During the evening we had exceptional service from Sydney(??) who was very attentive and friendly. My wife remarked that she was probably the best server she has ever seen. I had the Beef Wellington and it was absolute perfection. My only complaint is that some drink items were a little overpriced. For instance, $9 for a non alcoholic beer and $11 for a regular, domestic beer is a bit steep. But if its a special occasion splurge and enjoy yourself. I will definitely be back.

I have been to Wellingtons many times over the years.. Our most recent visit was last night with family for our sisters birthday. The food was excellent as always. We had different dishes and all were well satisfied and happy with their meals and beverages. However, what made this an exceptional experience for us was our server Denis. He was amazing! He made an already great evening next level by not only his attentiveness to our large group but he was engaging and made us all feel very welcome. For sure we will be back, but this time I will definitely ask that our reservation be with Denis. I just wanted to acknowledge great service and people who go above and beyond for their guests. It was OK. So what was great. Service, old school atmosphere, nice to see a front of the house manager taking care of the clients and keeping an eye on staff. Great service from all staff, probably best in Calgary to be honest. But food was just OK. Had escargot and oysters to start which were good and fast, drinks were quite boring and tasted very watered down. Then main course we had Wellington and rack of lamb. My lamb was much below my temp I asked for and our Wellington was quite bland. Brussel sprouts could have been azing if they werent so burnt. Overall I think it is way to over priced and I will not be returning but if you want that old school service and a place to enjoy old Calgary then this is it but if your going for great food there is much better around.

Dined at Oscars, four of us enjoyed our appies and main courses. Steak sandwich, warm salmon salad, Cesar salad, dry ribs,onion soup, escargot. Will go back again. Our server was pleasant. She had a great sense of humour. Parking: Needs more handicap parking stalls.

Outstanding restaurant with some of the best service and food in Calgary for a steakhouse. My mom said her prime rib was the best shes ever had. Kids loved their seafood pasta and burger and my dad and I had the rib eye. We will be back! Expensive but worth every cent.

Excellent steak. Good cuts and perfectly cooked. Excellent service. Best Caesar salads I have ever had. I highly recommend the steak and rock lobster. I have had it three times in the past year and have never been disappointed. It is a highlight of my work travel to get to eat at Wellingtons. Nice atmosphere. Dress nice or you will feel out of place. I have never been refused service when wearing work clothes, but they did tell me to take off my hat.

Great steaks, calamari was just awful and the service was extremely disappointing especially from the wait staff and bussers. Felt like we were in their way and that we were a mere nuisance to them. As good as the food was I wont be back! Lots of other great options in Calgary for a good steak.

Ordered off of skip, the calamarie was very undercooked and soggy. Cheese cake doesnt taste like cheese cake, steak was very average definitely wont eat here again. Next time I want a nice steak i ll go to chop steak house

If theres a better steak house in Calgary I havent found it yet. You deserve to try the brussel sprouts. Last night I had the salmon for a change and it was as delicious as their steaks.

The Ceasar salad is so good. They make it fresh right in front of you. I always get the stuffed chicken however all their meats are grilled to perfection! Highly recommend as a place to have a fine dining experience.

Absolutely wonderful meal and experience!! Beef Wellington was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Stuffed potato was fluffy and mushrooms were great lenticular and tasted yummy. Spicy margarita was good. Cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Highly recommend for a special meal out or if you are a foodie. It is pricey but quality was very high.

I had the most wonderful birthday dinner here. The food is excellent; our rib steaks were perfectly cooked, juicy and flavourful. We ordered French onion soup and oysters Rockefeller to start and they were delicious. I highly encourage ordering the cherries jubilee for dessert - it is presented so nicely and tastes incredible. Overall, the experience was second to none. The restaurant has dim lighting, thoughtfully cooked and presented food and impeccable service from all staff who create a memorable experience. I just love Wellingtons!

Went for dinner with some family from out of town. Needed a table to accommodate a wheelchair. The floor manager Gareth held the door so everyone could get into the restaurant with ease. We were promptly seated at our table. Our server Ola is the best there is. She was so attentive without being overbearing. She went the extra mile to make sure our guest in the wheel chair was well looked after and made him feel welcome. She went above and beyond to help accommodate his needs. Food was top notch as always. Table side ceases salad was fantastic. This restaurant is always our goto for fine dining.

Was a great experience. Loved all the dishes except the Jambalaya. It wasnt the greatest. Oysters were delicious, calamari was a little rubbery, escargot was pretty salty and gritty. Steak, mushrooms,baked potato were on point.

I had the beef wellington and it was one of the best meals Ive ever had.

Jumbo Shrimp (flavorful cocktail sauce), Steak Neptune (cooked, seasoned, and topped perfectly), and the Mud Pie were absolutely amazing. The staff were ever-ready, but never over-bearingly present. I eat with headphones and a video, and I was never questioned or pressed which I loved. $85 for me and it was worth every penny!

It was Okay, but I have had better. I had beef Neptune and the crab was very fishy, And the steak was not as tender as Ive had before at other places.

My boyfriend took me here for a random date night. We had a pretty early dinner so it wasn t too busy when we arrived. It got busier as the evening went on. We got escargot to start, it was delicious! I love dipping my bread in that escargot sauce. For my main, I got the 10 oz ribeye. Honestly, it was cooked to perfection. I loved it!! Our server was also very friendly and attentive.

Amazing food and staff! We took our 7 year old out with us for our 4th year anniversary dinner and we all enjoyed our meals!! There was no physical kids meal but the staff accommodated from the place next door and my daughter throughly enjoyed her special pasta, Alfredo, chicken and veggie dish! We chose Wellingtons for a family dinner. The food was extraordinary and the service from Ola was impeccable. Ola prepared tableside dishes in a skillful and engaging manner. Her courteous and professional attitude enhanced our dining experience. Would highly recommend the Chateaubriand and this restaurant.

I m giving one star because even if the food was good, I didn t feel well from the second we walked in. Rude and unfriendly greeting directly put me off on my birthday, plus I have guests with me who have traveled half way across the world. The server was unfriendly at times, frustrated and seemed negative, and after a good tip didn t want to smile or say goodbye to us even. I felt bad throughout dinner. Even if the food was good, will never come back.

We went here for my birthday. Omg this place is one of the best steakhouse I ve ever had. Our server was great, she made sure to check on us and assist all our needs, make us feel like vips. The atmosphere was calm and friendly, the food was amazing as expected. My boyfriend got the ribeye and I got the beef Wellington. 10/10 will definitely be back.

Front desk male staff was rude and unprofessional. Mushroom were too salty.

I went here with my wife last night as her mom highly recommended it. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was very much the type of vibe I like, the folks working were all top notch and attentive and the food - the food was magnificent. I had the beef Wellington with a stuffed potato and I ve been thinking about how good it was all day. I can t wait to go back :)

Food was was great ,service was great. I only got food to go so the atmosphere one Im not sure but it did look great inside and the place was packed which in its self speaks volumes. Will endeavour to get a table next time.

Amazing steak and service. 5 of us had filet mignons, most at different temperatures and they were all spot on. My rare steak had a beautiful and flavourful char on the outside, and perfectly rare throughout. Our waitress was friendly, anticipated our needs, prompt and made my dads birthday dinner a good one.

Got the beef Wellington and it was very well done when I had asked for rare. My boyfriend got the 14oz ribeye and it tasted like straight salt. Waiter was very nice but was never offered more drinks. Received my knife and it still had dried food from someone s meal before on it. Spend your money elsewhere.

We didnt only find great food, We also found great people especially Barb who knows what we enjoy to eat and drink, but also Paul the bar tender!!! You wont be disappointed with anything! One of the best restaurants in calgary , we go there almost every two weeks . Fresh Halibut fish is cooked to perfection every single time. Chicken mango salad is delicious & and their Ceasar salad is very tasty, but thats not all ! The steak sandwich , shrimp & chicken wings are so good. We have been going there for 15 years , all the staff are very friendly & professionals .

Some of the best food I ve had in Calgary.

My husband and I stopped in for supper while in Calgary. The beef carpaccio appetizer and Caesar salad (prepared table side) were incredible. Our entrees (rack of lamb and peppercorn steak) were perfect. Cheesecake was one of the best we ever had. Our server was so great, we decided if we ever started a restaurant we would steal her. Honestly the best meal we ve had in a very long time, consistently epic from start to finish.

Top 5 best meals Ive ever had. Service was impeccable. Steak Diane and beef wellington were just chefs kiss. The sauce on the chili shrimp was unreal. Higly recommend, will definitely visit again on my next trip to Calgary.

We love wellingtons, leaving a 5 star review because we messed up the skip the dishes review, I usually do the ordering but my wife tried and she doesn t know what she s doing, so I ll be doing the ordering again!

Got the prime rib and cheesecake. Oh but it was enough to share for 2. The cheesecake had fed myself and 3 others with me for only 10 dollars which is very affordable considering the portion size. Staff was friendly, but did reach a couple times over myself to grab food and to fill drinks. Otherwise, was good!

I guess I expected more and better for the cost you are getting. Way too much pepper corn on the fish ..

We came here with a group of 16 ppl for a small wedding reception and it was incredible from the service to the food. Everyone was helpful and supported each other when things seemed overwhelming. Highly recommend the Wellington, hard to beat. Can t really find this level of Wellington in Calgary. Would come here again any day!

The food (prime rib, beef Wellington, ribeye steak, escargot & caesar salad) was great and our server was terrific. Only 4 stars for atmosphere because it is truly dated inside, but it actually works here. Classic meals and service.

We went for a birthday celebration. Atmosphere had dim lighting, quiet dining room, we liked watching the chef at the grill in his little windowed area. Cocktails were very nice. Wine selection was decent. The Mission Hill bottle we ordered was great and the mark up was okay about $15 more than we recently paid at the winery in Kelowna. Fresh oysters were delicious! Special shrimp in sauce was very yum. Table side ceasar salad was soooo good but not allot of talk from the server while she made it. Kind of awkward.. Steaks were inconsistent. 1 filet was over done, 1 ribeye under done and 1 filet spot on. (We arent the type to send food back and wouldnt have wanted to wait for it anyway.) No freebies for birthday dessert, they brought out a plate with a candle and whipped cream. haha Glad we tried this place out but probably wouldnt go again for the price point vs what we received. 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, the table side salad, 1 bottle wine, 3 cocktails plus tip was $420.

The best steak I have had in a while! Filet mignon was done perfect to my liking and escargot was delicious. Service is top-notch and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Will definitely be going back again soon!

If I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars, I would. I absolutely love everything about Wellingtons, from the second I enter the restaurant, I feel welcome. The front of house staff is always accomodating and greet you with a friendly smile. The wait staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. The food is delicious, Ive not had anything other than perfection at Wellingtons. I think this place is fantastic!!!

Good place good food, and though like Calgary all over now, prices way too high but you do get more service and food here for similar prices.

Food was amazing, best wellington I have ever had. The service was slow, but for how busy it was it was still incredibly fast. Atmosphere was nice, and it felt quite welcoming. Parking: Parking lot is close, and has many spots though it shares the parking lot with a strip mall.

We had Mack as our server. She did well. A little slow at times, with drinks and refills and forgetting my butter for the bread. Ordered Escargot, Ceasar Salad, and Beef Wellington. The Escargot is better at the Keg. This one reminded me of canned snails with heaps of butter baked on. Ceasar salad was boring and needed more dressing. Ordered the B.W. MR and the blood had made the pastry, soggy, but the steak was flavorful. I did like that they bring toppings to the table for the Potatoes , but I also prefer the twice baked Potato from the Keg. All in all, Ive wanted to come here a while now and I rate it a 6/10 The clientele and servers are all 60+. I wont return, but at least I tried it

Excellent place for a business dinner. The food was excellent and the service was a nice balance of not interrupting the conversation but also being attentive. We will definitely be back! Dietary restrictions: Allergy was noted and meal was checked that it was safe

While the service was good, I was surprised by how mediocre my steak was. A good steakhouse is also supposed to have excellent french fries, which unfortunately Wellingtons does not have. The ambience is also exceedingly boring - its like out of a bad 90s movie. If youre looking for a good steakhouse, I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

Eh, maybe dont allow screaming kids in the dining room past 8pm on a Saturday. Didnt think that needed to be established before making our booking, but apparently, we should have been seated in the adult section.

Excellent dining experience. Denis was attentive but not overbearing. He made the best ceaser salad I have ever had, made right at the table. We had the Wellington and Steak Diane. Wellington was perfectly cooked and made exactly like it should be but I preferred the Diane. Oysters Rockefeller,,Borscht and Brussels were all very good as welll but must haves are the Ceaser and Steak Diane, IMO

My husband and I enjoyed our food, calamari, steak and beef wellington were delicious! Too bad we had no room for dessert. Our waitress was also super attentive, even after it gets busy. Awesome service from Lesley!

Had the pleasure of eating here. Had the wellington, followed by a toffee cake dessert. Everything about the meal, service, and atmosphere was 5/5. Highly recommend.

Great food..

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Calgary. The escargot is a must try as well as their seafood pasta. Professional service and amazing food.

We went for 5pm on Sunday. It was busy. However, after we ordered our meals arrived quickly. The Filet of Sole was beautifully done. My spouse had the pepper steak. It was very good as well.

Absolutely delish! Old fashioned steak house with great Caeser salad, Beef Wellington and filet migeon. Service was top notch.

Waitress only talked to my other half, the Wellington steak was a beat up piece of meat and far to expensive for what was recieved. I have had a steak there before that was better and 15 dollars less. I recommend the keg. I will not be returning to Wellington it was a waste of money for what should have been an enjoyable night. If you were looking for a quiet dinner and are going here, go to the lounge side. It was quiet over there.

We had a small Christmas gathering here and service atmosphere and food were 5stars. Not many places left that provide a fine dining experience anymore with linens and servers that are very attentive. Had the server mix the Caesar salad at the table too . Drinks and food were perfect compliments to all. I had halibut as soon as few places serve it now. Most of the group had beef which Wellingtons is known for generous servings and tender.

Ive been coming here for years, and its always lovely. A classic steakhouse with old fashioned favourites. The service is great and you get so much food for the price...its timeless!
