Casual restaurant serving Asian dishes in a Japanese-inspired setting with long communal benches.
Food was okay, been ordering their beef ramen, which is my favorite in wagamama. Just a bit comment on the service, it was a bit awkward someone is changing the sauce tray in the middle of your dine when the sauces were all 3/4 full, even the menu she was holding dropped in the mid of our table while we were eating. Just be careful next time, and you can always change the sauce tray after the customer left, esp when theyre still not empty.
A disappointing dive. The restaurant was cold and looked like a dogs dinner. Stuff everywhere, very messy. We had to wait ages for a table because they were all dirty, and when we were finally seated, we were left for another 15 minutes to 'decide' despite standing with menus for 15 minutes 'deciding'. I know that food comes at different times, but my wife and son had finished theirs before mine arrived. Cold. My daughter's food had to be chased twice. They offered to refund my cold meal which I didn't eat, which I feel was the bare minimum. Buttock clenchingly piss poor. Will not be returning.
We were seated very quickly, but the wait for food was too long. Dishes for two diners were brought in at different times, which meant that one was eating and the other was watching. We’ve never had our water brought in. Waitresses are very friendly but rushed and not very useful. Food was not nice. One dish was overcooked, the other overfilled with 3 types of onions. Overall below average experience for the price paid.
The waitress had so wrong attitude after making us wait for for food for about 1.5 hours (they gave £30 in vouchers to make this up). When she said she will make sure the food will come now (nth time she said this) and when we asked are you sure (first time we asked her this question), her reply was "I cannot go in kitchen to cook food for you". On top of this, they served pork buns when the order was for their vegetarian version of the bun. They made another reduction for this error. They didn't seem to appreciate the seriousness of their errors and their excuse was "oh we are so busy". They completely disrespected the customer's preferences while being rude and finding excuses (ipad error was an amusing one) for their errors. To the management if you are reading this, please train your staff properly so they can serve customers in a busy environment.
They delivered burnt wok fried greens. They werent green they were black not edible, I would send it back if I was at the restaurant. They should be ashamed to send to any customer or any living being. It was a health hazard.
On a busy Saturday evening at 8pm yet the service was still friendly and enthusiastic and the food was quick and delicious. Despite being seated tucked away in a corner our waiter was attentive with advice about the menu, allergens, drinks etc. Been to a few of these branches around and this was my best experience of them yet.
Really nice. Had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to be seated, be t we were a seating for 7, so expected a wait. Food was great, service was nice. Every type of squid side was amazing, we had them all and wow!
This place was just amazing. I was there with my boyfriend to celebrate and we had one of our best experiences ever. The food was excellent, the service just perfect, and the guy that attended us was super nice. If you go there don't miss the salted caramel cheesecake, which is just AMAZING. Is not the traditional cheesecake, is a combination of ice cream and cheesecake. I really recommend it. And I do not recommend the garlic edamame, this is the main reason why I don't leave 5*. I think they can work more on it, it wasn't good at all, was dry, and without any flavor. We will repeat for sure 🤩
No cherry sauce on my momo cake. Too expensive to mess up orders
Lovely place, staff is very friendly and food is delicious
Amazing place, different food, service 100%
When we was there 28/09/2024 5pm it s ot busy, to many staff but we waiting in door 4min. an unfriendly worker approaches the table, again waiting 4-5min staff ask two times for drinks we not drinking, if we ordered how long the server? we are hungry. Later one of pair man and woman and there is so much table free for those with served. Order done for the pair, we waiting more .. We are standing and leaving the place, staff why, what happened .. £17 one ramen , dirty table and we are listening for next to table people how eat, if busy all right,..omg very bad there .the Wagamama restaurant it s very good but not in Cambridge location Parking: £2 for 1.5hours
been looking for a good ramen place in cambs but this place isnt it. Ive had japanese instant ramen that tasted better. soggy noodles, cold bamboo shoots, just a few things i could list off my head.
I went a few days ago with my mum, fabulous as always! Although I didn t catch her name, I m especially thankful to our sever - she had shoulder length brown hair.
I love this place. The atmosphere is completely oriental. And the food is very tasty.
No wonder they closed down the other branch. The food quality from Wagamam has really gone down!! Ordered from Deliveroo: Ordered the pork belly ramen and it arrived with hardly any soup, the noodles were soggy and the half tea-stain egg was fully cooke!! Ordered an extra half tea stain egg and it was also fully cooked. What s wrong with the chef? Looked liked they have microwaved a leftover food from the restaurant and gave it to the Deliveroo customer! Ordered over £40 and that s what you get from Wagamama. Would never order it again! Ridiculous quality of food!
Fantastic management and service, one day though, theyll get our order right.... Friendly and caring.... when you go there, it doesnt feel like a chain... but .... they always get our order wrong... Enjoy! Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level and flat
Victoria was super friendly and approachable. She had suggestions about the food and looked after us through the whole dinner. 5 star service
Amazing food and staff are very friendly and helpful!!
Extremely expensive, tiny portions due to closure so take-away only, grumpy staff, unclean tables, cold and tasteless food. Wont be going back. Went with a friend early on last Sunday evening. Was disappointed to see on arrival that they were only open for take-away orders, which a woman manning the order collection window then confirmed in a very rude manner, despite our apology at being confused. We ordered, paid, were given the wrong receipt and then waited for 25-30 minutes. Very very expensive food for what it is - we paid almost £60 for two mains and two sides with no drinks. Also no student discount option. We asked if we could use the outdoor tables and were again told rudely that that was fine. Tables all very grubby and some benches uneven so very uncomfortable. When it did come, the food was all really cold, like it had been sat in its boxes for a while. The portions were way smaller than normal, the chicken katsu curry had no salad included and very small amounts of rice, the ramen had no egg or seasonings and was very watery. The chilli squid was rubbery and freezing cold, a shame as we enjoyed that dish in past. We asked for two cups of water and were reluctantly given one, despite having made a large order and the evening being very warm. We are both students so had wanted to go out to get a meal despite our low budgets. Wasted money. Very disappointed and wont be coming back, even when the main restaurant does open again after the current closure.
My friends and I recently visited Wagamama for the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing experience we had. We were unsure about what to order, but thankfully, our server Dhan came to the rescue. He suggested some fantastic dishes that turned out to be delicious. Dhans recommendations and friendly service made our visit truly enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you, Wagamama, for a memorable dining experience and special thanks to Dhan, the guys who made a great serve.
Had chicken Katsu curry. Food and beer was good.
Lovely vibe and great food
Great place
Great place
It was a great meal but the place was a bit too noisy. I had to leave earlier than planned because my baby was irritable from it
If ordering delivery, be prepared for them to ignore you if you call up and tell them you have specific dietary requirements! They said theyd follow them, and then didnt! (But they did when I ordered last week - so I know they can do it!)
Ignore you if you call with dietary requirements, or wanting to modify your order at all!
Absolutely horrible! Bad food bad atmosphere the waitresses are horrible i was truly appalled , waste of time, truly disappointing
Fabulous food! Service reasonable but lacks atmosphere, although we did go early and it was quiet quiet. Would definitely go again for the excellent food. Best Wagamama Ive been to for this.
4 People, £80. What. The food was mediocre at best, and the quantity was the same as the quality... One star is a compliment to be perfectly honest.
We came here for dinner as the one we have been to before in central Cambridge was shut down. I usually have the Yaki Soba every time so I decided to go for this again. The meal didn t taste as good as it had before. Lacked flavour and felt like it was rushed. My fiancé ordered two starters which again lacked flavour. We will try Wagamamas again but not from this branch.
My friend and I visited this branch last night. We were served by Victoria, and what a fab evening we had! The service was perfect - Victoria was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly, and was delicious! Well definitely be back! Thank you Victoria!
Good food, Nice staff
Bad service waited forever for our food then waited even longer before someone could pick up half of our plates almost 20 min for a banana katsu which as Im writing this were still waiting on it after asking about it to multiple staff... Steak was over cooked noodles over cooked. Worst experience Ive ever had in wagamama. Definitely not coming back to this one again.
katsu curry tastes like english curry powder in liquid form Im not from the UK but seriously this is bad, this is not how katsu curry normally tastes. Wait staff were lovely but you need 2x as many. The place needs a clean too. If I want McDonalds quality food and hygiene I would go there. Much cheaper. Thank you staff for putting up with this.
Food contamination. The Salmon dish I ordered had been contaminated with bits of beef, a big chunk of beef was found. The staff was inconsiderate and rude. Few days later manager called, they acknowledge that at Wagamamas there is a risk of food contamination. Avoid Wagamamas if you are scared of food contamination.
Great helpful staff Katsu Curry was spot on! Vegetarian options: Went for Veg Catsu Curry
GREAT food love IT very much
I love wagamamas but this one is so understaffed and the service has been terrible and slow every time I ve come. It was a half full restaurant yet I had to wait 15 minutes before someone noticed us waiting for a table. We were only then told it would be an hours wait for food. When we decided we would eat anyway, we were then told actually they couldn t seat us anymore. Not the wagamamas experience you want at all!! The staff just seemed very lost and inexperienced so not their fault really
Horrible food quality. Cheap products. Tasteless dishes. It could not be worse even if they wanted to make it worse. Difficult to believe
Sticky menu sticky table sticky floor Food was OK but run a mop round ! Vegetarian options: Good
I went here with someone else and the two of us thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere (everything). We were looked after beautifuly by two staff members, one of them which we already knew. It didnt take too long at all for the food to come out and even less to eat it all. We had two types of duck: the duck bao buns and the grilled duck with rice. The texture on the bun was unimaginably soft and was the highlight of the meal for me. Will most definately visit again.
Ate here with a group of friends yesterday, Highly unprofessional duty manager - Andrew who was appallingly rude and disrespectful - the wrong person chosen for a leadership position at this company- he it setting a negative culture for customer service - I ordered the firecracker with tofu and was wrongly served prawns firecracker - imagine if I had an allergy to seafood or if I was a vegetarian , litigation waiting to happen, my meal was the last to come and I swiftly provided feedback to the server that I ordered tofu however my group of friends food had arrived prior to mine which was late and I no longer wanted to wait for another meal to be prepared so I politely accepted it however when it came to making the payment ,I clarified that I will only pay for the tofu firecracker and the staff became rude and dismissive- Instead of apologising and taking accountability for your actions your going to dismiss and play games with the customer that you accepted the meal , yes I did but you were is the wrong - the manager Andrew was the primary person instigating this behaviour and attempting to make me feel uncomfortable for a mistake his staff made which is absurd - he was ignoring my presence and telling the staff to ignore me, unbelievable- the management of this organisation need to know the culture of customer service he is creating in this franchise , he needs a performance review and further training in customer service-his manager would be better off terminating him! Disgusting food and service ! Don t recommend!
Very quiet Wagamama & service is very slow, food was okay but just okay nothing special and some of the meals came slightly cold. I feel the staff could have made this visit 5 stars if they gave a bit more & focused on customer service, it was all just very bland. I will Definitely eat Wagamama again but I will not rush back to this one anytime soon. I had yaki soba which was good and I would definitely recommend this dish. Parking: Parking can be found 2-3 minutes walk in the multi story car park.
Very nice one of Wagamamas, nice music, ambiance and service, and we loved the food!
I ve got a number of issues with this The food is great however it would be great to eat at the same time ie my diner was finished by the time my daughter dinner arrived The staff are lethargic The toilet had no soap in the dispenser Shocking A classic case of style over substance
This tasted better than rust! 10/10 recommend.
Great service. Good gluten free menu
Wife has finished main course before mine and daughters starters or mains been delivered. Staff lovely, very apologetic, but its an absolute shambles. Cant rate the food as havent eaten yet, though wifes looked good.
It was fun Louise made it fun:)
Like the spicy ramen with grilled chicken slices, however a couple times the noodles have been slightly undercooked. Good service times even when busy and lovely waiters. I really like the online split the bill paying method which makes it easier when going out with friends. The interior looks very good and inviting. Dietary restrictions: Allergies are written on the sheet of paper at your table and a manger takes your order to be sure of allergens. Parking: Nearby multistorey parking and a parking lot behind sainsburys which takes 1 minute to walk from. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and wide double doors at the entrance.
The food wasnt that great. If you want authentic, this isnt it. The building and menus were dirty. Old drinks and food on the table and menu Food
It s a good thing they said Asian-inspired rather than touting themselves as an Asian restaurant, because it does such a disservice to Asian food The flavours in the dishes were confusing I ordered spicy grilled chicken ramen and it came with lime and raw onions as toppings. Nor was it spicy and the chicken was bland. The curry was hardly curry but rather just sauce on rice. It did its job as food to fill the stomach and that s all. Would not recommend in general.
Lovely vegan dish, waiter was lovely, only problem was we were in a lunch break and had to ask for the bill, which isnt a bad sign, means they dont hassle you to leave!
We went to Wagamama this evening, usually we have a brilliant dining experience, however tonight it just was not up to par. I had to request missing ingredients from a dish. I understand the theme of Wagamama and dishes are sent out as they are ready, however my starter came out after everyone on our table had finished their starters and main, which I find unacceptable. Our initial server made two mistakes on our order, giving us an extra main and missed started, the only thing that salvaged this experience was our second server Jose, he was attentive, ensured he sorted out the mistakes on our order/bill. If he hadn t taken over our table, I m sure we would have sent everything back and left. So thank you Jose, recognition where it s due because you were lovely! Kid-friendliness: They provide colouring and children chop sticks.
Our server Jake was lovely. Amazing food and drink :)
Much nicer and quieter than the town one and super speedy! Thanks to Snah for the tips and great service!
Food was good I left my keys in the restaurant and the waiter called Carlos found me in the arcade 3 doors down and saved me from a long walk home give that man a raise
Mmmmmmmm yummers
Came here on my own as part of a little solo trip, and the service was great. Very attentive, the food came quickly and everything was so tasty. Would definitely come back. Yaki udon and Tama squid were great.
The manager and the servers were extremely helpful and friendly and made sure that we had a wonderful dining experience at wagamama. Food was excellent, fresh and tasty.
Food great as allwais, but Im so angry when I need to wait so long and food is not comming same time for all table. Its not acceptable for me for such money. In Manchester I get meal for free when I get latest meal than others. Sorry... Food : 5/5
Came for a quick dinner last night, really friendly and quick service and absolutely delicious Katsu curry! Really friendly staff who were very helpful and attentive. Also really loved the vibe of the restaurant! Edited to add photos from further visits
Special thanks to Liam! Made our time at wagamamas very enjoyable!
thank you to Liam who made our experience very enjoyable here
The ramen was undercooked and starchy with little taste. The portions of meat in the other dishes were laughable. You will not get your money s worth here.
Usually dismal service, however Snah was exceptional
Great experience and lovely food, Jake was very welcoming and charismatic
Friendly staff and delicious food.
I really liked the vibe and the decor in this Wagamama branch. Much better than the one next to Arts Picturehouse cinema. A little hiccup with my main dish when I was waiting for what seemed ages and when I chased it, it turned out that they had lost the ticket with my order (the place was practically empty!) but the lovely server chased it with the kitchen and it was with me in no time. I loved it, very tasty, warm and filling. He then also offered me a desert on the house but I opted for a healthy smoothie. Very nice approach, I must say. Will definitely return to this branch. Thanks!
Went in on the Monday for a meal with my husband. Only to be told they couldn t do a latte they could only do espresso double espresso or Americano. I m sorry but that is a poor excuse when there is a shop across the way where they could get milk or maybe your staff are incompetent of using the coffee machine maybe you should try training your staff. At the end of the day I walked out without ordering anything as I was disgusted by the service.
Lovely food, quick service and really attentive towards allergies
Many Europeans and Americans love it, but if they are Japanese or Chinese, they will definitely not believe that it is Japanese or Chinese restaurant food!
Asked for a nodle dish with prawns and chicken, apart from the very long wait despite being the first one there, I got about 4 prawns and hardly any chicken! It is the second time this has happened. Very disappointed indeed.
Top rating. Really good food and attentive + nice staff.
Really poor, slow service, mushy noodles, sides arriving 20 minutes after meal finished, burnt food, cold rice, the list goes on. Avoid, so many better options nearby
Tasty food and quick service, big shout out to Louise for the excellent service and her generosity in going above and beyond!
Really soggy ramen noodles. I ordered the shirodashi pork belly ramen at the airport, same as i did here, and it noodles were way better in taste and presentation Noodles should be a lot firmer but the ones i got here looked like it was sitting in there for a while before served, definitely not fresh like they promised. The beef brisket donburi was 90% veg and rice and 10% beef. One bite of brisket beef was all i got. Very disappointing. Take your money elsewhere.
We were impressed by the lovely staff here tonight. They made our experience at this Wagamamas even better than usual. The food was delicious too.
Very friendly staff. The food was very good. Fresh ingredients and short waiting times. But it wasnt very busy either. I can only recommend it.
Get what you expect
Standard Waga, nice and chilled
I got the chance to only taste a few starters and they were great, disappointed by the service.I had to wait for more than an hour before being told that the order was wrongly understood.
Went here with my asian friends and a swedish person. All my Asian friends loved the food and it was v. nice in my opinion. The server was very lovely so thx I had duck donburi which was £17 + £4.50 for an orange drink which is quite pricey, compared to other restaurants. There were hardly any people here which was good Would recommend if you want somewhere to eat with your Asian friends
Horribly slow service and rude staff.
I find this Wagamama to be very consistent and one of my top choices to eat in Cambridge Leisure. Appreciate there are always many vegan options to satisfy different moods. The vegan ramen hits soup cravings with a slight spicy kick. But Vegatsu and Yasai Katsu are dependable defaults. Vegetarian options: Plenty of well marked vegan and vegetarian options. Will provide a vegan menu if required.
Nice place and food. Was a little disappointed initially; not being seated where we wanted.. when it was empty.. but food, atmosphere and overall service made up for it. Vegetarian options: Available Dietary restrictions: Veg options Parking: Available Kid-friendliness: Not recommended Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible
Deserts deserts deserts. What can I say other than well done (miso in the base - revolution haha)
Absolutely delicious food service was great, my only gripe would be the dust and hair that fell from the ceiling when our food was brought to the table. Luckily none landed on the food and I was very happy with the food. I was given the meal and drink for free. So this is my honest and fair assessment of my visit to Wagamama. I will go to another Wagamama as I believe the food and servi e was great but the dust and hair was just an unfortunate side effect of some issues they had going on.
i tried a new dish and it wasn t for me (nothing wrong with the food at all). the manager noticed this and offered to comp the meal i didn t like and got me something else. i only had to pay for the meal i ate and my partner got to take the original meal i did not eat home. the manager said it was good to see me smile and he was glad he could sort it for me. the kindness and friendliness of the workers is absolutely amazing!!!
Food amazing - they were short staffed but they did a decent job, but could see they were all stressed out!
Awful, slow service, painfully expensive for what it is. Wont be going back. The one in the city centre is much better.
Manager clearly not the person for this role Two portions of Phad Thai arrived last (that s fine) both half the normal amount that we have in all other restaurants. Kitchen obviously missed one off the order and split one portion over two dishes and served We asked the waitress to address this she took both plates to the manager stood for 5 minutes waiting for her to deal with another unhappy customer. Manager just rolled eyes and said no they re the correct size we were handed back these dishes to consume (tepid) and pay full price, upon leaving I saw another lady had a Phad Thai clearly double the size of mine and on leaving I pointed this out to the manager who said ooh yeah I noticed that but still did nothing I would have left happily if she d just apologised for the mistake as I fully understand mistakes happen but she was just unprofessional and rude!
Sat waiting for over an hour for food won t acceptable
The staff training is required, we wait 10minutes nobody came and asked what we would like to drink or eat, we decide to leave. Not happy customers!!
We ordered grilled chicken ramen, which is tasteless water and soggy noodles with boiled chicken and we ordered katsu chiken curry, which has no curry in it and taste like below average Also chicken gyoza which is okay
Sat for 15 minutes, no one even came to take a drinks order. Staff chatting by the bar. Couldnt wave anyone down to get attention even though the restaurant was quiet. Walked out in the end.
We went after visiting nearby cinema. I had positive juice (£4.80) salmon gyoaz (£7.50 - shared), vegatsu (£13.50) and smoked chocolate cake. All the food was excellent, as was the service (after a little local difficulty that was smoothly resolved.) Many thanks to Mitch and the team who were solicitous but not intrusive- just about right. Hope to go back sometime soon. (The smoked chocolate and ice cream hit just the right sweet note!)
Tasty food! Parking: Multi-storey car park 2 minute walk from restaurant Food : 5/5 |
Very friendly staff, was dealt with quickly, food also came quickly and tasted good. Only downside the rice wasn t sticky rice and just seemed normal basmati, but other than that very nice experience and would happily go back again.
Amazingly tasty food great service and knowledgeable staff although food does come out separately it did hinder the evening as people come out to eat together not watch other members of your group eat half their food first
The food was fine. Nothing too special. I had the chicken ramen and edamame. The edamame had way too much salt added but I managed. The ramen was not the best Ive ever had but it was good enough. Service was fine. Was my first time here so took us a moment to realise how to pay with the qr code. Only one person had an issue with paying online. Food comes out as its ready which is fine. The venue has a nice vibe. The bathroom floors were quite sticky but otherwise everything was quite tidy.
Went there to get takeaway. The first staff who came to me confused me so much. When I said I would like takeaway she replied for you? when I asked do I order here? she said I don t think so. When I tried to figure out the whole confusion she said but it s the kids menu (that I am holding in my hand). Eventually I grabbed the right menu and another staff came to serve me was very friendly and professional and got my request sorted right away.
A great Wagamama that we ve been to a few times. The food is always great and there s always plenty of tables so we ve never had to wait. The only thing I will say is that service can be a little bit slow. I ve been in the collect an online order and it took a long time to be acknowledged by staff who were all at the other end of the restaurant, even though there were at least two customers waiting, including me.
Perfect for a bit too easy before to go to a show.
Terrible service. Were told to wait 15 mins in an empty restaurant as it was understaffed . There were at least 5 waiters doing nothing and in no rush to clean all the horrifically dirty tables. When we finally got seated after asking for a clean table multiple times, it took ages to receive our food with my friend already finishing her meal before I got mine and I could see it waiting at the counter. There was this one particular waiter who was particularly unhelpful and rude towards us. I have never seen a restaurant so dirty and have more staff than customers but use the excuse of understaffed . Don t recommend wasting your time.
Disappointing. We went as a group and all were served our meals at different times. One of the group members didn t receive her main meal until we had all finished our own We had chased the waitress twice about this. Then when the food arrived we had a strange explanation for the delay, something mumbled about the food being lost which made no sense, and it was shrugged off very quickly by the waitress who awkwardly left without an apology. I felt it would have been good service to at least offer a discount for the one group member.
Service is shocking!! My 4 year old has celiac disease and before we went in asked if they had a GF menu which they showed us a wide option but this was in fact wrong!! My daughter ended up with only 1 choice and we wasnt allowed to order her food with our order and this was taken nearly 10 minutes after which meant she had her food ages after us including her drink which My husband had to go to the bar to chase himself!! The staff seemed like they didnt have a clue and was rude Id never go back it was shocking Service and the food wasnt great either. Dietary restrictions: Shocking the menu says different to what they actually serve!!!!
Ive been here 3 times, and i can confidently say its worse than other wagamama locations. Its almost always busy, but the staff dont seem to know how to serve tables in the order they were seated. Multiple times Ive been sat in some off corner so its hard to flag the wait staff down, and theyve served not only drinks but food before even taking our order. Ive had bits missing from my meal (i ask for katsu sauce seperately and it comes 10 minutes after the dish itself) which again may be because it is busy, but this happening is not only dissapointing, but also a theme. Most wagamama locations, including the one in the centre of cambridge, manage their busy times well, but this location seems to really struggle.
Staff pleasant. Food awful compared to other branches we have been to.
Service was a bit slow. I ended up starting a stop watch to see at which point my order would be taken despite there being an empty restaurant with 4 tables occupied. It was 28 minutes. Given the staff member said he was new the whole visit was nearly an hour when I expected a 20 minute start to finish like I can normally get from other super Wagamama s branches such as Stevenage.
Previously had a bad experience with one waiter who messed up a lot of our order. The rest of the staff ran around making up for it. I went back and had a great experience. Friend with an allergy was well catered for. One criticism: we waited outside for half an hour while lots of tables were empty. Would have been better to warn us of a wait and give us a table in the warm, with only drinks orders while waiting to order food.
Beef brisket donburi and Pad Thai are way too salty. Couldn t even finish half of the Pad Thai, its basically inedible
Very inconsistent, food can be really nice and service can be good which is what usually happens but a couple of times my food has turned up cold, most of the time its good though.
Food was delicious and our waitress was very helpful
Lovely staff! It was my husband s birthday and staff made him a little surprise and offered him a slice of cake and were all singing happy birthday to him together with our family these actions make a huge difference, we absolutely loved it and will definitely return!! The food was also delicious.
Every time I need to wait 10mins for them come to order the food for me.
Authentic establishment, interesting food, but very slow staff.
Love this branch. Food is great, servers are attentive and great atmosphere, plenty of space and not cramped. Definitely recommend
Always delicious food and friendly staff.
Dishes - ok, the cups in which Green tea was served were not washed. Waiter service - requires thorough training.
Terrible service , 20 minutes before approached, food forgotten , food arrived at completely diffrent times so it all went cold, had to ask for forks twice, awful experience overall.
Excellent welcome The man made us very welcome what soon as we walk to the door he was very welcoming and always got a :-) Service and food very quick we coming back again chicken Katsu extra spicy nice and also seem very happy and joyful
Great food and service. Even tho they were slammed and understaffed, everything was great. Thanks!
Great vegan and vegetarian options, the portions are huge and very fulfilling. Nice curries and rice plates. Amazing juices, the positive one was delicious
First time visiting this Wagamama and definitely the last. The place was half empty when we arrived and we still had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. The waitress was being bullied by the extremely unfriendly manager. They mixed up our drinks order, and rather than offer us the drinks complimentary they insisted on pouring them away and making us wait to bring out new ones. Finally we ordered the chicken ramen. It came out lukewarm and the chicken was stale and still cold. Only positive was the gyoza were nice and Im only giving 2 stars for the sake of the poor waitress who was being bullied by her manager.
The food was nice but was cold served.
Service was great, food was delicious and the place was clean.
Really we enjoyed in your restaurant. Very delicious food served, the service rendered by your staff shows your management skill. We indians prefer little bit spicy items. Second time we have ordered and it was good. Otherwise every thing is good.
Staff were really friendly, welcoming and great service, lovely food.
Half the groups drinks arrived after we finished food. Food portions small for price and arrived at very different times. We did have a group of 12 so may have a different experience if you are a group of 4. The venue in the town centre was a better experience.
Andrew was great!
very good service excellent
Good value! I really like to go there from time to time!
We met my eldest son and had lunch. We had a wonderful tasty meal but I couldnt eat all the noodles. I also had a slice of caramel chocolate cake. Wow to die for. For an electic wheelchair user the tables are manageable if you sit around a leg. The staff removed a bench for me. I much prefer a round table then I can get under it. The staff were very good, pleasant and attentive.
Love the food. The ramen is amazing. Although the service could be a little better. The other place in the city center is the best.
Air con was lovely on a hot day out. Good and drink was presented well.
Very nice place to eat. Amazing staff professional and friendly. Very delicious food. High standard service. The manager is very helpful and friendy. Highly recommended place to go! We had an amazing Friday out! :)
Great place to go for dinner - lovely food and the really excellent, friendly staff. Particular thanks to front-of-house Andy and Chef Reza for being great fun.
Great choice of food, authentic touch, fine beer
Andrew was our host and he was so caring and amazing. It was really busy but he made sure we were looked after!
Food was very good . Sitting not so good. As we were by the door. Waiters were excellent.
Raman is disgusting and disappointed in the quality
I have never had a bad meal at Wagamama. The food is always delicious and arrives quickly. The staff are efficient and friendly. Definitely a place I would recommend.
Absolutely delicious, the spicy chicken ramen had such good flavor!
Walked in on Saturday lunch time and the restaurant was pretty much empty. We waited at the reception for 5 mins and a girl at the bar never even spoke a word to us. Twice a waiter walked past and ignored us and the other member of staff didnt come over to us. I was appalled at such terrible service that we left and wont return. We love wagamamas and have never experienced this before but would now contemplate what wagamamas customer service policy is as clearly it wasnt keeping customers happy and putting them first. Massively let down from poor attitudes and customer service.
I had to stop eating my dinner as I asked for noddles without chicken as Im veggie had to stop eating my dinner as I found a large bit of chicken in it . I definitely wouldnt recommend this place to any veggies .
Came for takeaway and it s took only 10min very good service. The person who took the order is very pleasant.
Compared with our usual fab Wagamama in Manchester, service was slow, and staff kept bringing out wrong drinks and orders to us.
Good food. One main about 5 minutes before the other, otherwise 5*.
Great food and excellent service. I love all the vegetarian options. The portions are very generous. Nice that the menu is changed frequently. Totally recommended!
Honestly there waiting times are not good. I m dissatisfied with the way the treat deliveries and other 3rd party staff Food is great but the energy that comes with it id avoid
Ambiance is great. The food did not disappoint. The menu is varied and true to the theme. The cocktails were unique and interesting. It s a place where you want to go back.
Good food and service
Great place and lovely food. The service was great and checked on us regularly and had a nice chat with the waiter.
Worst service ever. Plastic pieces in the food.
Good service and food. Pretty much what youd expect from a smaller wagas.
Service was poor. Employees were reluctant to help with issues. Half the dishes we ordered came once the rest of the table had pretty much finished, and only after reminding an employer multiple times. Unprofessional behaviour from the employees.
Well all i can say is i have never had a worse meal or experience ever there was no one to meet and greet us at the door and after waiting 20 mins someone did come and say they were short of staff and would seat us shortly .We ordered our food after getting a table then waited another 20mins which we was ok about as we was hungry and looking forward to our food.My sister in law got hers 30 mins later my sister and i were still waiting for ours when it didnt come we asked waitress and she said once again she was sorry they had no staff and would see were it was 15mins later it came .Our food was cold looked like they had thrown it on a plate and when i called staff over to complain was told it was meant to be cold but she would check with chef .Of course it should of been hot and was told we would get fresh dishes shortly another 30 mins later we got our dishes and once again they were cold our dumplings were solid and hard .Ok they were short of staff but that should not effect the quality of our food which by now we had given up on and asked the staff to speak to manager who they sent to speak to us. The manager came said she was sorry she was short of staff and had been dealing with deliveries out the back .Surely if you have a busy meal time she should have been on the main door greeting her customers explaining about the wait and about the staffing situation which she agreed with and once again said how sorry she was.We did feel sorry for the few staff that were doing their best given the circumstances but that does not explain such awful food we was expected to eat .We was offered a free drink and of course we did not pay for food well to be fair we only had one dish edible .We was on a weekend in Cambridge was looking forward to a lovely meal out all eating together and all we got was a some dreadful food and a stressful experience.never again sorry wagamama you had a lot of angry upset customers that night we were not the only ones unhappy so i think you need to get it sorted .
They served my husbands food first and I had to wait about 5/10 longer for my food. We also ordered an appetizer in which they were not delivered after the dishes. The service was very good, the bathrooms and the place were very clean. They should improve coordination
just wow food
Really good food with a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan options. 100% recommended
Turned up unannounced due to last minute cancellation next door, with 11 children for a birthday meal. Staff were amazing, food great and service excellent. Thoroughly recommend.
Poor service. Long waits. Overall bad experience.
Great decor and delicious food at relatively reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised
Definitely the worst Wagamama experience I ve ever had and I ve been to many of their other locations. Food came out cold, mainly the Gyoza, ramen was ok apart from the fact that they have no ladles at all, and didn t even offer a spoon. Staff appear to not particularly care, and even when not busy they are milling around it really being attentive to customers. I very rarely care about reviewing places but this one needs some work from upper management at the very least. Service-wise a table next to me left, because they hadn t received any other dishes apart from one, in 30 minutes. Honestly I hate to say it, but I would avoid this one at all costs.
Hey @wagamama_uk, went to your Cambridge Leisure Park restaurant to celebrate my sons A level results with family on Thur 18/08/2022 and must say it was a horrible experience. The staff were absolutely unfriendly and rolling their eyes when we asked for cutlery. How can you have ramen dish with out a large wooden spoon. When we asked the response we got is let me try and find one - is it the way you serve a dish. Had a very bad experience. Will avoid this restaurant at all cost.
the services are totally ignorant, their 2 min waiting turned out to be food forgotten, so kept asking, kept waiting, kept losing appetite. find some other restaurant if you are not going to take on a challenge
Very tasty fresh piping hot food.
Absolutely rubbish, order dinner for my son , chicken ramen and delivered kids portion in small bowl, charged £14.50. Completely robbing people, until today I was great fan of the chain but they really really disappointed me today as my son gone Hunger as he studying in Cambridge university. Cant believe never ever go even for dine any more or recommendation.
Scam of a dinner, I wish could post a picture of the portion, a joke even for such post-cocid times. When one orders something for someone else as a treat, to then get cheated like this is SO embarrassing!!!!! Never again and would actively discourage take aways certainly.
Cold main, cold side dish, worst front of house. By far the worst wagamama I ve been to
How comes this place is still opened ? Lack of quality on every level. You can t be having different standards than other Wagamamas. The owners need to come down as mystery guests to check up on their investment, because it s heading to disaster.
Really nice atmosphere and food, great service and I love the location.
Ramen container wasn t properly sealed, so the broth leaked out everywhere. The driver said that he had this problem before from them. Ramen was missing the egg and the portions were very meagre (mostly rice and noodles). Vegetable side was tiny. Quite nice food but overpriced for what you get unfortunately.
Brilliant customer service. I want to thank the staff as my parents behaved horribly towards them, and they handled it with professionalism and grace. We were even offered free desert and drinks, and had a refund on a couple of dishes. The food was great, the staff were nothing but lovely and kind. Id give more than five stars if I could. Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options
Shocking service, we re seated at 7pm and sat for 15 mins with no staff taking our order or asking for drinks. Left without even ordering as we were clearly being ignored. Awful, won t be returning
Very good indeed
Love the tofu ramen! My favourite go to place for a quick bite. The portions are also very impressive.
Seated quickly. Cute little table. Food was hot and served quick. Only thing I didnt like is we didnt seem to have 1 particular server so when we asked for more green tea it never arrived x Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan chcoice
I had a lovely meal at this branch. Carlos was very attentive and friendly! Very enjoyable evening.
Good atmosphere. Great staff. Service speed is fair.
Waited 1 hour for food to be served. Both waiter and manager were not understanding about and rude when approached regarding issue. Also, full compensation not provided.
