An extensive menu of traditional Chinese fare in a relaxed space set with Asian interior details.
The food is hit and miss. We visited last week and the food was good so decided to go again. This time one of the two mains was inedible, absolutely dire. The place is mostly empty.
Seven Days Chinese Restaurant is a great place for a delicious, authentic meal The private rooms are perfect for enjoying your meal undisturbed, and the service is attentive and friendly. I randomly asked for Chinese tea during my meal*not sure if it was standard—but they brought out a lovely teapot, ready for me to share with my friend. It’s these thoughtful touches that make dining here such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
Visited on recommendation and tried some traditional Sichuan dishes. Though they tasted good, they're far from being authentic. Other than that, was a nice convenient place to have a meal.
Highly recommended. This place is great! I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints, if you know what to order. The best things are the green beans with mince, fish in hot chilli oil, and braised aubergine. The duck pancakes appetiser is also really good.
[2023-03-10, 16.5625/pax] Great food, just order the right stuff. Not good with sichuan dishes. yangzou fried rice - 7.5/10, good braised beef in tomato sauce - 9/10, sweet and savoury, good tomatoes. meltingly soft beef. tendons! Nice coriander taste. Normally not a fan of sweet tomato flavours beef sirloin slices stir fried - 8.5/10, very tender cuttlefish stir fry - 8.75/10, cold cucumber salad taste. saucy, savoury, oil rich. Good portion. fish in pickled greens - 8/10, interesting flavour, sour kung pao chicken - 9/10, spicy, saucy. Good sichuan kick. far cry from the sweet kind you'll get elsewhere. recommend.
I always love food here. My favourite is spicy chicken wing which is served with lots of chillies. The seasons are marinated very well and give so much flavour. Others are nice too. Good place to eat in and sharing with family and friends
I was really blessed to be visiting them again in this trip because this is one of my favorite place when I was at Cambridge Uni. Not only great & fresh seafood options and Szechuan/Sichuan cuisine, they also offer £22 ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT HOTPOT featuring a variety of meat and veggies!! You can choose up to 2 soup bases from hot & spicy, chicken or tomato tom yum and order as much as dishes as you like for your boiling pot. Let me share some of my favorites that I suggest you DO NOT MISS: -sliced beef: AWESOME QUALITY, not chewy but tender & juicy -fish fillet: OMG SUPER GOOD & DELICIOUS, great for any soup absorption -fish tofu: already one of my favorite food, and it's GREAT here -kelp: crunchy & fresh, LOVE THIS!! -tofu skin: MUST-TRY, fun to eat, delicious, healthy On top of FULL SET AYCE HOTPOT, what you can get here are the freshest seafood cooked in Sichuan style. MUST-TRY: -CHILLI CRAB -STEAMED SCALLOP Both of them are SO FRESH that you can tell from their texture. Some parts of the crab are pre-cracked so it’s easier to remove the shell. The main part at the middle is my favorite. It’s super easy to remove using only chopsticks and SUPER DELICIOUS. Scallops are really nice and easy to eat. They’re perfectly cooked and seasoned no matter you love SPICY or not. Try them together with their toppings too!! You have the option of getting them fresh to cook with hotpot too but I especially recommend order them cooked because their seasoning is SUPER NICE. OOPS!! Lastly, there are a lot of Asian drinks available to order. I got aloe vera and plum tea which are EXTREMELY REFRESHING!!
I visited this restaurant on recommendation of a Chinese friend. The food tasted authentic and delicious. I recommend coming with more than one person because the quantity per dish is a lot.
Avoid, unacceptable hygiene.
I heard many good things about the food and restaurant in general previously. When we arrived I was surprised to say the least. Rude unfriendly waitresses, it was as if we were bothering them finishing up a busy period. The service was awful, it definitely made for a bad experience. Even the food pretty mediocre and slow to serve, didn t match description on menu and looked nothing like some dishes Kim the menu itself. Giving 2 stars is being overly generous! Extremely disappointed, would have spent more and ordered more but was annoyed and frustrated. Just wanted to eat and go.
The food didnt match any of the pictures on the menu and was on the expensive side. The crispy duck was minced duck and tasted very unfresh...
Seven days seems to be a top choice for those craving delicious Chinese cuisine.
Excellent service and yummy food
There are many Chinese restaurants where Westerners come to dine, and the space is suitable for gatherings.
Terrible terrible and again terrible stay away from this place took me ages to find what to eat and I m not picky at all once ordered food our mains came out 5min before the rice did, by the time rice is out we ve eaten half the mains, food was hot but went cold very fast , awful value for money, also they trick you into paying 10% bill at the end check the first page of the menu it says at the bottom they charge you, the issue is that the ladies barely spoke any English and service was terrible £49 down the drain and I m hungry loool
Second time we came here. First time was well over a year ago. We wanted to see if it improved but it was just as bad if not worse. Food wasn t fresh at all and you d definitely need to visit the toilet multiple times the next day if you go here. Would highly suggest people to avoid.
Very bad, the food took 1 hour to come out and the rice also arrived before the main dishes. We asked for water and they didnt bring it to us. We asked again and they didnt and on the third time I had to get up to ask for water. The service was terrible, the waitresses hardly knew English. It was very cold in the place because they dont have the heating on. The food was a little expensive and the portions were small. Very dissatisfied with this site, I do not recommend it at all.
I went into the restaurant to eat with the Hawking potato chips. I felt full of Chinese New Year flavor and was in full swing. I ordered potato chips, pickled fish and a large plate of chicken. How can I put it this way? It tastes pretty good! The price is a little expensive (understandable) and the two sisters who serve are very friendly and busy.
Mediocre food and the WORST service you can ever find in all of the restaurants in Cambridge. The younger waitress was fine but the middle-aged woman who seemed to be the person in charge has the most unpleasant face one can see in this lovely city and constantly throws her temper at customers.
Literally the WORST attitude towards customers in any restaurants Ive ever visited. Been there a few times and every time I was surprised by how rude the reception lady treated their customers. And the worst karaoke, too! Last time we ordered a few cans of coke which didnt arrive halfway through the meal, so we asked the reception lady about this. And the reply was oh huh? who did you order with? I cant see anything here with a loud voice and extremely annoyed, impatient face, no apology. Yeah we definitely ordered them with some random people in your restaurant, not with the staff. Just been there for my last time ever a few days ago. We booked a karaoke room for celebration. When we asked the reception lady and gave her our details, she couldnt find the info and again the reply was huh? what room did you book? who did you book with? I cant find anything on my book surely we should know who was on the other side of a phone call and which room we would be allocated for. And after a while she found the info on some other pages, and was extremely annoyed, like it was our fault, without any apologizing words. And I havent mentioned the karaoke system was the worst Ive ever used. There are only 600 songs in their device locally. Want other songs? No problem, download it using their 100 kb/s internet and it will just take you about 30 minutes per song. Getting yelled at, bad system, bad sound quality, constantly not working microphone, this is just amazing for some karaoke celebrations. So if you want to get yelled at for paying for food, go to this place, because the reception lady there will never disappoint you.
10/10 this place is the best. Get the dry pot if you like it spicy. Vegetarian options: Im vegetarian and there are some great options, especially the tofu skin salad as an appetizer and the homestyle tofu.
The taste of the food is getting worse and worse. I feel like the chef has changed... It seems that it will evolve into a Chinese restaurant that specializes in cheating foreigners...
Its hard to eat, the rice is very sticky and I have no appetite at all, and the fried vegetables are also very sour. I wont go there again!
Food was delicious. Restaurant was too crowded at 8.00 pm ish, very noisy andd not enough staff to serve at peak times. Food
I love the food here.
Great place to eat
Never disappoint
Worst meal ever salty full of oil arrogant waiter.....dont ever eat there grab a cone of chips.....it is really bad!
Good food and you dont need to wait an ages
Very authentic Chinese food. And if you like spicy stuff, they do really good dishes.
Food tasty and up to standard. service AAA
Great food, great atmosphere, huge menu
Always my first choice for dinner in cambridge
The worst Chinese restaurant in the Cambridge
Appalling service and food, will not visit again.
Very bad service. We ate hot pot, the meat was very bad, we said to the manager the problem and she didnt even change it also she ignored us. The pranws were still frozen. The waitress was super unpleasant. never again
The receptionist (a young man who only responds in Cantonese and English and mocked when I checked any vegan unfriendly base material)should be a bit politer and more patient to any woman who dine in alone.
Very disappointing, In Cambridge for work, my colleague and I decide to go to this restaurant, because we both like Chinese cuisine. Waiting times are very long, still happening. But it was not our surprise when instead of chicken in my colleagues dish we had shrimp... whats more, the noodles, which are very good, are in more than limited quantity.... We leave disappointed and still hungry. And no commercial gesture. Nothing to do with the Chinese at will in France. In short, I strongly advise against this place.
The food was disgusting and overpriced, feeling they could just steal my money but they still served me bad tasting food. Very disappointing from this shop, and some parts was the flavours tasting difficult to describe, and the food was overly cooked, with some unknown hair in it, told them and they apparently swapped it but still served me the same one just taking the hair out.
Completely disappointing. I used to come here and never again. Food has become very average although prices has gone up, I had better cheaper takeaway! Toilet disgusting! Drinks in the can but they dont provide glasses or even plates!!!! I requested plates and they said didnt have??? BAD REALLY BAD
I like the food, its delicious, also the friendliness of the service. The place is also comfortable.
Very delicious food and good service.
Food was awful. Very poor. Extremely salty and oily, heavy taste of MSG or being too spicy. Severely overpriced.
I recently came to Seven Days with a friend. We had rice, a cuttlefish and cucumber dish which was delicious, an aubergine dish which was also amazing and a wet beef dish which had a slightly strange flavour that I couldn t identify but which was also delicious, although my friend wasn t so keen. It was all fairly spicy and the wait staff did warn us about this. 10/10 experience. I ll be back.
Absolutely amazing!
The portions of the dishes are small and taste bad, especially dont order the Xiangguo. Its very expensive and the portion is very small. You cant even chew the beef lobster inside, and the fat sausage is very smelly. We ordered 4 dishes and two noodles for over 100 pounds, and each dish was only half a plate! This restaurant is a complete mess! Dont go! ! !
I went for Lunch twice. The place was clean, and the waitress are polite and serves you well. I ate aubergine in fish sauce, but it was very oily. Generally quite pricy for what it serves (10 pounds per dish). I had a bit of hard time communicating with the waitress because she only spoke Mandarin. It is a convenient location, and I had a good experience here, but I wouldnt particularly advocate for this restaurant.
Cambridges iconic Chinese, always happy with food quality.
So so. Dumplings super, vegetables and prawns not so good. Too many mushrooms
Waited forever for food. They look completely different from the menu.
Big portions, the pork hock was really tasty
Nice service, tasty food, recommend
First time going here food was better the expected staff where perfect could not fault them one bit will be going back
Very genuine Chinese food. The food was delicious. Parts of the rice I had was overcooked. The restaurant can be very packed, you could be sitting right next to other customers. The waiting time for the food could be very long. Pre-booking is definitely advised.
The food never disappoints, especially the sichuan chilli fried chicken!
If you love northern Chinese Szechuan cuisine, this is the place for you. The dishes are heavily spiced, often with Szechuan pepper, a plant flower that numbs the mouth. The cauliflower with Sichuan pepper and the beef stew with that same pepper were delicious.
The taste is not good and the female staff are unfriendly and not kind
The dishes were nice and tasty but the beef dishes we had we so tuff, but apart from that it was ok
Food was average but the service was worse, one of the dishes served looked completely different from the picture and the staff was trying to convince me that it was the right dish ?! Do they think customers are idiots ?!
I really cant stand it anymore, so I came to Google to review it. I hope everyone will stop eating at this restaurant. I posted a post today as proof. If I go back again, I will be a dog. Why cant I figure it out? Is this landlady a discriminator against Asians? ? Or Taiwan independence? ? Or Hong Kong independence? This has happened for the second time. My friend and I went into the restaurant for dinner at 8:40 tonight. This middle-aged aunt is probably the boss (I always feel like she is awesome, but she is actually a fool. Last time I ate, I heard something like The waiter was talking about something, and he sounded like he knew everything and everything he said was right. I hate this kind of talk the most, as he thinks he is the authority and does not allow others to comment). The aunt saw that there were only two of us, so she asked us to sit at a table for two against the wall. Anyone who has been in the store knows how cramped the place is, and we cant even put our feet up. My friend and I didnt want to sit there. There were many empty tables down there, so the aunt quickly wiped another table for two people in the far left corner, but the table was not wiped clean and it was very oily. We found the waiter and said that the table was very oily. He said that it had just been wiped, so why was it so oily? Then he came to see it himself. There were oil stains on the upper left corner of the table. It was difficult to wipe off, but it was indeed dirty and unclean. We asked if someone had booked the other tables if they were empty, otherwise we would like to sit at other tables, and then the aunt told the waiter to let us go up and sit at the first table for two. Im really speechless. Does this aunt have a brain problem or is she going through menopause? Crazy? Specifically for Chinese people who speak Mandarin? ? ? ? ? ? ? Was this the case last time? What kind of stupidity is this? It is understandable that every time the middle-aged aunt sees that there are only two of us, she wants to place us at a cramped table for two. However, there is a table for four but only two white people are sitting there. I just wanted to ask, there are three empty tables for four people, it s 8:40 in the evening, and there are no customers with reservations. Why can t we choose a spacious place to sit? What s more, the food cooked now is really unpalatable. The dishes are oily, salty, and not fresh yet. As soon as you eat them, you can tell that they have been cooked for several days and were temporarily plated and heated. If my friend wants to eat Chinese food, I will definitely not go. Hope this store closes down soon! ! ! Boss lady, get out of here! ! !
We had dinner there because at the time we went most of the kitchens were already closed, we ordered several dishes to share and we were quite satisfied with the service and the food.
I have bad time in the restaurant for twice. The table is dirty, the taste of some dishes is terrible and one waiter who we met twice is impolite and rude.
They offer karaoke on the second floor! It s about 60£ per hour.
Had a great meal with my family - really top quality food. The owner was friendly and had a quick chat with him. Cheers!
The food is and has always been fabulous. Highly recommend
Besides the lovely food, we appreciate their service. They incorrectly gave us our order and we said were fine with it but instead of just updating the invoice, they still gave us our order free of charge. It might have been the expected outcome but that doesnt happen all the time. So, thank you.
The food is alright but the service is questionable
Food is very delicious
Shocking service & food. See photo below for a Half Duck! All we got was minced flesh. Our Grandson who was looking forward to a real half duck was inconsolable & refused to eat going to bed on an empty stomach. Delivery was 30 mins late. No way to complain with the hopeless Deliveroo App. So a very bad difficult experience
I think this restaurant is not very stable and the quality of its dishes varies slightly. . Sometimes its good, sometimes it feels like its not up to the standard of a restaurant. .
Excellent food 5*, bad service, timings and atmosphere.
Best Chinese restaurant in Cambridge
Poor quality in every area, avoid.
A small bowl of rice £3.5 ? Boiled meat is closer to £20? And plus 10% service fee? I was sitting in a place near the back door. I hadnt eaten a third of my food, and all my dishes were cold. There are so many good Chinese restaurant with good tastes and price nearby. Why am I here???
Expensive dishes, abysmal quality. Oily and salty. Service was poor too, didnt even offer to give water. Still dared to ask for a 10 percent service charge. There are loads of better chinese restaurants all along the street.
service charge for non-existent service. expensive and food was at most mediocre.
Very bad. Avoid!
Best Szechuan food around. Beef and ox tripe, gele mountain chicken and gizzard are a few of our fav from this place.
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.
Visited on a quiet Sunday evening for dinner, service was good and the food was authentically cooked. The staff were helpful in explaining the menu too. Prices are average.
Excellent, such a wide range of food on their menu, I would recommend them to anyone,
Amazing portion sizes, Chinese staff that actually treat you nicely! what more could you ask for! best to stick to 2 dishes if you are only 2 people, because the quantity is huge! Tasty authentic food.
Nice place, good taste on Cantonese food.
Awful experience with management regarding a delivery order. Refused to refund a delivery order that was never delivered and was sent to the wrong address. Proceeded to lie about how the delivery was going to be re-sent to the correct address but it never was. Had to contact the restaurant again to be told that this was an issue with deliveroo not the restaurant (Even tho this restaurant manages its own deliveries) and how the deliverer didnt know what to do after he was in the wrong address... Along with this, the management tried to claim that the address in the app was wrong when deliveroo and any maps application shows the right address. Honestly a pathetic interaction and I hope people are more careful with this restaurant. It is always telling when a restaurant responds to issues in this manner and I wish it the best of luck.
Authentic Chinese but not so good as i expected. Food fairly greasy and service very slow, although it was a busy evening. Lovely staff who tried their best to please.
Very poor service
I had dinner at Seven days today. The beef and squid were chewy, I ordered a soft tofu instead hard tofu was served. The ingredients were not fresh and the menu was tasteless. I dont recommend it. Dont get me wrong , I used to dine there before the pandemic. Disappointed customer today!
Comprehensive menu and great portion sizes. Great to come with groups of ~7 people, all around a big table with sharing plates. Decent price, would recommend for lunch
December - first visit - takeawsy for 1 Good restauramt decor - as a chinese aught to be. A huge golden dragon ornament to greet and socialable round tables as well as smaller ones to cater for smaller groups. I popped in no expectation. And the staff gave me a menu without being snooty that I just wanted a takeaway. 10/10 so far. I opened a menu I was stunned - authentic food - I could be in London China town. I ordered Beef brisket casserole & plain rice. Again good service - no judgement. First thing to say the portion size is good - very satifying. My casserole delivered flavour, texture were spot on. The gravy coated the rice like a flavour jacket, and not drowning it. The meat was tender and the chewy bit in the brisket were just right for mouth feel and familiarity I yearn for. Price was right. I ll be going back for more and taling friends too.
I blame myself for thinking the menu was overwhelming. Page after page of food Id never seen before but it was page after page of wishing I had a larger stomach. The dining room was packed front and back with people. The atmosphere was busy but I felt welcomed as a foreigner to both proper Chinese food but also to Britain. The wait staff were obviously very busy, but who isnt understaffed and overworked these days. Cambridge is full of help wanted signs and this restaurant was no different. Even with these issues myself and the people I was with were still tended to as quickly as possible. We made our decisions on food and drink and were rewarded with all sorts of delicious and simple dishes that absolutely were worth the wait. Again the only downside was not enough time was spent on studying the menu and thats my fault. Next time I will be more ambitious for I cannot wait to be more acquainted with this resturant.
Authentic Chinese food.
Very tasty dishes! Im especially fond of the stir fried chilli potatoes.
Very good food at great cost. I recommend to go in a group. Most of the staff dont speak English fluently, so you would need a translator.
Not the best experience. Service slow and lacking consideration for families even though restaurant was not full. Time between one person being served and another too long and kids not served first. Staff milling around doing apparently nothing while food left to be delivered to tables. Good for a one course snack but not for a dining experience.
As a Chinese living in the UK for 12 years, this is probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. TM
Nice place
Very delicious
One of the best Chinede restaurants in Cambridge. Not your usual Chinese food, but very delicious. I believe the staff already recognizes us, because we go there often :) 4 stars because I agree with a previous comment about salt.
Dont be confused by the similar name and location. 7 Days is not nearly as good as the adjacent @72 China. Go for the chili potatoes so that you can say you had Stephen Hawkings favorite dish, but go to 72 next time so you can tell the difference.
Very god food. First time in, but definitely will come back. Front of house could pay more attention to costumers, though!
We waited for over one hour for starters, its been almost another hour for mains. The food was not good either, the rice was tasteless and the ribs were really bad as well. I would not recommend it to anyone
As ever, excellent, tasty food. My wife is coeliac, which can be a problem in Chinese restaurants, but the staff and management at Seven Days are very accommodating and very careful to make sure that some of the dishes are gluten free. Thanks for a very enjoyable meal.
Great food, very polite stuff, quick service.
Amazing food, catering mainly to the Chinese population in Cambridge. You wont find your regular takeaway stuff here. Portions are gigantic, would recommend 1 main between 2.
Avoid this shop. Atrocious service and quality. I tried to order delivery from Seven Days. It took an hour and half to deliver to the address just across the town and refused to apologise for the severe delay. The food is not as described and used lettuce claiming as Yau Mak Choy. The service attitude of this restaurant is extremely bad. It took an hour and a half for takeout to be delivered. The dishes also do not comply with the description, such as selling lettuce as lettuce. Please avoid visiting stores.
Taste really good
Excellent
First we were told rudely that a booking for 45 had not been booked. When they realised their mistake we were told we had an hour to eat and leave. The waitor suddenly spoke very good English when he was taking orders fir overpriced drinks. The food was lovely but overall the experience shocking
Great food and great atmosphere
probably the best in town!
Good food, but a bit slow to serve the food.
Best Chinese food in town. The frog legs are delicious (but spicy)!
Great Chinese food, authentic
Scouting for a new place to eat real dim sum in Cambridge and noticed this place started serving dim sum made by hand every day which caught my attention, since most places will serve the dumplings from frozen etc. We went on a Tuesday late afternoon so the place was quiet. Our toddler s voice seemed to echo around the entire place which was slightly awkward, there was definitely a lack of buzz. We were surrounded by a student nodding off on the table next to us, and the inattentive waitresses conversations behind the bar area. 1) Worse thing about this place is service, we were pretty much the only table eating and yet they had to be prompted to give us bowls to eat from when food arrived. They had not noticed what I would deem traditional cues to refill the teapot with water, we had flag them down for simple things when really they ought to be noticing when we are the only table spending money. They didn t even give us the dim sum menu to start! We just took it from another table as we couldn t get their attention initially. 2) The staff working that day did not understand basic English, it just made the overall experience even more frustrating 3) their dim sum menu is a conservative 35 items, with 6 being rice/congee... what made me most livid is that they re not using original photos for their Facebook posts, so a bit of false advertising really annoyed me. Their photos of dim sum included very popular Cheung Fun dishes, which made no appearance in any form on their menu. I have a serious gripe with their management on this! Their own cooked food is good enough to use for advertising, so I don t see why they have to use silly stock photos showing food they don t actually serve! 4) my last complaint (but partly my fault) is that we paid for items on the bill that we didn t actually end up getting - namely the black bean chicken claws. I only realised once we got home and went through the bill. We spent almost £80 (with 10% service) for 4 adults, which is a fair amount of £££ on lunch The only thing that has warranted the 2nd is the food ~ what we did order and eat was good. We could tell the items were fresh, recently made and the portion sizes were ok given their slightly premium pricing. I would highly recommend the egg tarts, we could have eaten quite a lot more. Very impressed with their pastry chef! I don t think we will visit this place again until my chinese drastically improves. Struggling to communicate with their staff on a dead quiet afternoon ruined our family lunch. God forbid any special requirements or requests, we really would have felt helpless. Also, cash only on most days here.
Very good food, pretty reasonable cost and good service
Food was OK but services was bad and there was service charge of about 10 quid for a service that does not seem to exist
Best Chinese restaurant I ever visited. Absolutely great food.
Good chinese food, a but expensive but on par with the area.
Great food and service.
Very authentic
Very traditional food!
Great food!
Hawking potato!
Really very plain food and Im not impressed. The starters were like frozen Iceland starters. The duck was mostly fat, the ribs were over cooked and the noodles can only be described as English, in a bad way. At least it was cheaper than better restaurants, I guess.
Fabulous
Hawking s favorite shop, the taste is really delicious~
Soldi standard chinese place
Very good food and a huge menu. Not cosy for romance but good for excited chat and laughter. The kitchen is out-a-sight. Food arrives and empty plates leave through a portal in the wall!?..The staff are authentic but the location is not. Dont worry about washing up as they must also do that too!..Unless if,maybe you forget your cash and cards and cant pay or something.....
Spicy tasty food, Sechsuan I think.
big size fried rice
We came here for dinner. First of all, the waiters service was very poor. When we ordered water, we had to wait for a long time to order water. Secondly, the taste of the dishes was generally boiled fish and fried noodles were very salty. Thirdly, we couldnt feel it at all. When the service arrived, a service fee was required. The 72 Inn next door also charges a service fee. Although the service is very average, I tolerated it because at least their food is really delicious. When I paid the bill, I questioned why the boss charged a service fee. The lady boss replied, Whats wrong with our service? I was speechless. It is very unpleasant to pay for this kind of service. Although the food is promoted in the name of Hawking, the quality of the food is getting worse and worse. Mr. Huo can no longer hold back the coffin version. Bad review! Very bad experience.
Horrible service but charge for service fee which I never experienced; the food is very salty. Not recommended if you want to try real Chinese food A very bad dining experience; first of all, the food was terrible. We ordered pickled fish and noodles with fried sauce, which were very salty; the meat in the fried sauce had a strange fishy smell; the fish with pickled fish was far inferior to that of 72 Store next door. Less sauerkraut and more sauerkraut; even though the food was unpalatable, I didn t feel any service but had to pay a tip. I had to wait for 15 minutes and was asked once before the water was served. Back home we drank a lot of tea. The only advantage I give one star is the low price.
More like diarrhea for 7 days and whatever salt they use is more like calcium chloride.
The salt use in this restaurant s food is so extreme! It actually leaves salt stains on the food like the salt stain you would get on your shoes after walking on salted pavement in the Winter. It doesn t even taste like conventional table salt or sea salt! It s a salty substance but what the heck is it actually? I ve eaten here twice and both times me and the people I ate with got stomach aches and diarrhea. Both times after I ate there I had a general unwell feeling for a day after. Oh! And a few of their chicken dishes are absolutely bone infested, the bone has been cut with what looks possibley like a blunt butcher knife so there are actual bone shards. Ask them if the chicken dish contains bone or which ones don t! The servers seem to put in minimal effort. The ambiance is actually alright. But all considered I can t see myself ever eating there again.
Horrible service. Never try the place if you have a food allergy unless you are expecting the staff calls you difficult in face.
The meal delivery was extremely slow. After waiting for an hour, the three groups next to us who came later than us were all served. I told the waiter three times but they all said they were rushing. Finally, the meal arrived. Every dish was extremely salty. There was too much pepper added to the soup. The rice was too hard. I came here based on a blogger s recommendation. I didn t expect the dining experience to be so bad. I definitely don t recommend dining here. It s super. Even a sandwich from the store is better than this.
Very bad customer service, ages to wait for food, rude staff, not recommended at all
Real chinese food.... Beware portions are on the large size
Really good Chinese food! Been there couple times with my friends and never disappoint!
