Contemporary Greek Food & Deli
I had an incredible dining experience at the Olive Grove. The authenticity and richness of the Greek cuisine were truly outstanding. Every dish was perfectly prepared, from the fresh, flavorful mezze to the succulent lamb and seafood. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful Mediterranean vibe. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and ensuring we had a wonderful time. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the portions generous. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone seeking an unforgettable taste of Greece. Five stars!
Top! Maybe the best greek restaurant in Cambridge! The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. Big choice of food. Traditional greek specialties and delicious dishes. The place is cozy, small and the service is fast. Strongly recommended to visit! Will return for sure !
I recently dined at Olive Grove Geek Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! The Greek salad was absolutely delicious, featuring fresh, crisp vegetables perfectly balanced with tangy feta cheese and olives. The flavors were vibrant and refreshing, making it a perfect starter. The highlight of the meal was the lamb tagine. The meat was tender and flavorful, infused with aromatic spices that transported my taste buds straight to the Mediterranean. The service was attentive and the ambiance cozy, making for a delightful evening. I highly recommend Olive Grove Geek Restaurant for a memorable dining experience!
Excellent service. Called days later to get a receipt for expenses and Hacor went above and beyond to get this done. Food is good but the service is exceptional!
The food is absolutely distinguished. The prawns are so fresh you can taste the sweetness in them. And the lemon risotto is exactly as the menu describes. Can not ask for better taste. Thank you.
Lovely interior and very luxurious looking restaurant however the food and service was not quite on point. Calamari was great, however it came with such a small amount of sauce so I asked for bit more and I realised they charged extra fee for that which I don’t quite understand. Prawns saganaki was good too however not much prawns in the dish. Mains were very disappointing, pork chop looking amazing but most of the part is over cooked and therefore very dry. The sauce definitely does not go well together either, should be rather like Smokey bbq or something very moist sauce. Mixed grill was the same, mostly all overcooked and gets very dry half way through. Nothing special with sausage, chicken was better than lamb as it was super well done cooked, kofta not very juicy, definitely needs more seasoning. Not sure if I should have tried other mains but clearly grills are having big problems. Other Mediterranean restaurants have far better quality of meat and cooking techniques. Now I understand why some people got disappointed of the foods. Service was quite slow and two young boys were very inexperienced and unprofessional. Especially one with very informal outfit was horrendous, should fix the attitude and looks absolutely lost all the time. Willing to give another try for this restaurant at some point as it just needs bit better service and improvement on grills.
The atmosphere and food here was really lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have docked a star because the falafels were certainly not what we’re used to… they’re made with chia and taste a little like mushrooms. If that’s to your taste for for it!
It has a pleasant decor and nicely spaced out eating area upstairs. Super friendly and helpful staff. The cheese balls were superb. The mixed meat kofta was a bit too garlicky for me after I had eaten the whole plate. Decent portion of pita and potatoes with the kofta. However, it was tight on the dip/sauce side of things.
The waiters and waitresses were amazing and the risotto was great
The short Turkish boy waiter was really nice and polite! Amazing food and exceptional service!
service was amazing and food was great. waiter was very handsome and polite.
10/10 Food lovely staff pleasant, polite and professional, we,ll definitely visit again when next in Cambridge
Nice food Could improve on service but was nice dinner Will return Greek restaurant but we haven t seen Greek members of staff
Absolutely loved everything about this place, beautiful food and lovely service :)
We used to enjoy this place a lot. The food is still tasty, but the portions are smaller than they used to be. I made the reservation with enough time in advance since we were 11 people, and I wrote that we were celebrating a birthday and a graduation. That aspect was never taken into account. Before they used to have a small detail on the house like a desert or something. There were many mistakes during the dinner, which is not the main problem because we are all humans. It was mostly the waitresss attitude. She was never apologising. Instead, she was acting with a grumpy, defensive attitude. I am on a no-sugar/ carbs diet, so I ordered a Cuba Libre drink with Diet Coke. They probably did it with Diet Coke but added a considerable amount of sugar. When I told our waitress, she said, Cuba Libres original recipe has sugar in it . I am Cuban, and this drink doesnt include sugar; plus, I was ordering Diet Coke. Same with the main dish I asked for, not pita bread or wedge potatoes; she mentioned they can add more greens. They removed the potatoes, included the pita and didnt add more green. But it wasnt just me; my husband ordered Earl Grey tea, and he got chamomile. When he mentioned it to the waitress, she said: I said chamomile when I brought it to the table . She probably did, but it was so noisy at the restaurant that no one heard that, and he was the only tea missing, so he assumed it was what he had ordered. Cappuccino was on the menu. Four people from the table felt like having cappuccino. The machine was broken , but they could do espresso if we wanted. These are just a few examples. It is a pity because we love the food from this place. But the last three times, the services have been far from good. Vegetarian options: Good Risotto
Went to this restaurant around 2 years ago and it was a great experience, now when i went back it was a disapointment, the menu was changed and food wasnt good at all, poor basic customer service and the waiter also had no ideea about the wines from the menu, quite expensive and not worth it! I would not recommend it
Myself and my husband fancied a cute date night, so we found the Olive Grove and it did not disappoint. If you love Mediterranean food as much as us, this is the place for you!
Really lovely place. Went for a birthday dinner and all the food was really good and the waiter super attentive. Only bit of feedback was that it was very bright in there for an evening meal, felt more like a lunchtime cafe vibe than nice evening meal. Vegetarian options: The aubergine dish was amazing super smokey
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge, the food is superb and the atmosphere is very cozy. They also have a great choice of wine, which is always a plus!
Food was really nice, did enjoy pork chop and chicken things. Wine could have been a little more chilled. Atmosphere is the biggest issue here, place needs a a few touches here and there, also could do with better hygiene.
The food for the price is really amazing, thank for the service from a young lady with short hair ))
Great restaurant with some really nice food on offer at decent prices. Service was very helpful and friendly and the staff were happy to help. Would definitely visit this restaurant again when visiting Cambridge.
No dog friendly
They like one lady are very rude
Great food! Portions are big so we left really full and well fed. Skepasti and souvlaki both very tasty. Highly recommend this place.
Hey there! Just wanted to share my experience with all of you. I have been there many times over the last 5 years and the quality of the food is still the same and delicious !! What makes me come back though is also the staff members and the atmosphere they create. Thanks to all of you and the lovely Francesca who made me smile tonight.
Excellent Greek food, very popular.
The food was good enough but nothing special. I did like the moussaka, I thought it was above average. But the grilled meat, although good, was the same as anywhere else and did not reflect the above average prices. Service was very cold and slow. The chairs are filthy - I made a mental note to wash my clothes after seeing the dirty fabric on most chairs. Worst of all there was a loud physical altercation between the staff and a delivery driver. That was not necessarily the staff s fault, but they dealt with it badly, not offering an apology or a word of reassurance to the diners in this small restaurant. Overall I really don t recommend this place.
The food was amazing. Big portions and great taste.
Very delicious authentic Greek food with Mediterranean atmosphere and excellent service Kid-friendliness: Extremely kindly service
This is a family-owned and family-run restaurant, with a glamourous side. Each dish is tried and tested to perfection, ensuring the taste takes you back to Greece. It offers substance and style in equal parts, and a real value. I have been going since 2014, and my phone holds far too many photos. I heartily recommend, because Greeks know how to party!
This was the best Greek restaurant I have ever been! The food is amazing as well as the service and atmosphere . I would truly recommend as it is for sure one of the best restaurants in town!
Amazing restaurant.. best in Cambridge. You can tell how fresh all food is staff is amazing and the decoration is fantastic. I will always return.. thank you all
I eat here all the time, definitely one of the best spots in Cambridge Amazing Street food style wraps if you want takeaway, and the mains are all clearly freshly prepared Food
The Olive Grove is an amazing Greek restaurant, probably the best I ve ever had in Cambridge.
I have been for lunch with my wife last week. We had to start the Feta Meli, the Garides Saganaki and the Melitzano-salata. Everything was freshly made and delicious! And it went down very well with a bottle of the house Retsina! For main course we had a Kleftiko that we shared, it was very tasty and melted in our mouth, with lots of potatoes and vegetables. In my opinion this is the best Greek restaurant in Cambridge, ideal if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere and pretend to be on holiday! Great service, nice experience!
Fantastic surprise dinner party with my friends. The staff and Food at Olive Grove is always amazing, no matter if you go there with friends, with family, with your partner or on your own! I truly recommend this restaurant. You are amazing. Dietary restrictions: Sim Kid-friendliness: Sim Wheelchair accessibility: Sim
The Olive Grove hits all the right notes: delicious food, warm atmosphere, and a staff that makes you feel right at home. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the tzatziki was seriously addictive. Service was friendly without being overbearing just what you want. Definitely a place worth visiting again!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking: I parked in a parking house near the restaurant on a Monday. From 6pm to 9 pm and I was surprised because parking was free! Gonville Pl, Cambridge CB1 1ND Queen Anne Terace Car park.
We went with friends for a meal last Sunday. The staff were very friendly and catered to our needs. The food was delicious and great value for money. I d highly recommend it to everyone!
Lovely place, food great and friendly staff.
Nice food Great service Food
I ate here a few weeks ago with family. The food was lovely, my only complaint would be is that they dont have childrens menus and be aware of the service charge. Other than that was nice food.
Great Greek food. Very attentive service and I will definitely return.
Grilled octopus is delicious
Avoid if you have food intolerances. Called the restaurant the day before a meal, was reassured theyd be able to cater for me, wasnt until ordering that was informed almost everything was unsuitable. Dietary restrictions: Staff dont know what ingredients are used.
very yummy food. had a great souvlaki wrap. the restaurant is beautiful inside
I went to eat in this restaurant: the food was good, the service was non-existent and the prices on the bill did not coincide with the menu.
Came here for a work place night out. The calamari starter was great but took a good couple of hours to come out as did the mains The kofta main I had however was dry and I wouldnt recommend it. Overall it was OK nothing amazing but not too bad either Food
Very good Greek restaurant We had sausage and a very good eggplant dish, the baklava was also up to par. Great deal, I would definitely return.
Amazing food, great staff!
Just such a nice space for supper. Excellent, friendly service and beautifully cooked and presented Greek food. One of my favourites
We had great service from our Mancunian waitress Amelie. The grilled prawns were great. The Meze is highly recommended but the Baklava dessert was to die for.
Search Google Images - The Olive Grove Cambridge. Now search Google Images for liminal spaces. You will find a match. The atmosphere and general design is particularly cold. The partion of people, the choice of wood for tables and chairs, the immediate dirt visible on the blue velvet like benches, and glaring stains on the white tables - the whole place is just not a vibe. Two of the staff definitely didnt contribute to it either. Im not sure I saw them smile once the entire time and after each interaction with one theyd converge meeting the obnoxiously large bar area and talk quietly - loud enough that you could hear something, but quiet enough that you cant make out what. Felt sus. The lady working there however was very friendly, props to her. Food was good though, get takeout if you can lol. On that note, they said they didnt serve some foods after 6pm, yet people came in to collect food that they said they didnt serve. Checking on Deliveroo, it was available. To make that clear, I could quite literally sit in the restaurant, ask to order an item of the menu, get told no, proceed to order it on the app for collection and then collect it at and then sit back down at my table. They played some good tunes too like Kendrick Not Like Us, but not exactly contributing to the atmosphere.
Very good food, friendly staff :)
Had lunch and dinner here as it us so goid
Sneaky trying to put a service charge on the bill without informing us first.
Amazing food, lovely staff. Lamb steak was great and perfectly cooked.
Not crowded and good food. Service could be a bit quicker though.
The food was on the okay side. It was however of the most difficulty to enjoy the meal for the service was horrendous. The waitress would serve us with earplugs on her ears, would forget part of our order, would basically more or less ignore us and focus way more on the delivery service drivers.
Delicious food, lovely welcoming service - kitchen can get a little busy delaying mains but well worth the wait. Vegetarian options: Lots of choice, with vegan options available too - restaurant are happy to accommodate with a bit of notice.
Disappointing. Vegetarian options: Not a great selection for vegetarians Food : 2/5 |
Fantastic food! Spurs of the moment trip and so glad we chose it. Highly recommend a visit!
Super tasty food, best Greek food I have had outside of Greece. Reasonably priced but extremely tasty
This was Greek food cooked by people who are rightly proud of their food and served by people who were friendly, warm and made the whole experience lovely.
We came years ago and it was great but sadly it s lost its authenticity. Calamari had more batter than octopus, it had claggy taste and cheese balls were stodgy and tasteless. Mixed grill was ok but nothing special. The whole vibe felt clinical and not very taverna . It needs some tlc especially the toilets. Owners are clearly not on site. Disappointing
Great food, will be back.
Great food, the pork chop is huge and beautifully cooked! Octopus was delicious. Great service too and a relaxing and informal setting. Parking: Some Road side parking and free after 7pm
Best food in Cambridge
Rubbish! Worst Greek meal I ve ever had
So good!
Very nice place in terms of atmosphere but staff were so busy with other tables we kept getting overlooked. Bread was forgotten to be served with our starter. Food is nice but overpriced.
Amazing food and atmosphere in restaurant but please put in a new toilet suite.
Incredible food. Fantastic service!
Very nice restaurant. Food lovely. Not too expensive. Lovely atmosphere and decorated tastefully
Lovely food, polite helpful staff
Great food and service Backed up by being open on Easter Monday night Will be back
Weve had delivery from The Olive Grove before quite a few times and always enjoyed it, hence ordering again. Tonight, though, it was really disappointing. The lettuce in the souvlaki gyros was brown, really no exaggeration, I should have taken photos, it was just old and brown lettuce, sadly. We also ordered an extra portion on chips, its a fair size box, but it was only half full, this felt like a really tiny portion for £5. Shame as the cups were tasty with herb seasoning on. Sadly, overall it was a really disappointing meal. Delivery was in good time.
Definitely not authentic greek.
I won t comment about the food as you claim to have better food than Greek (blasphemy) so I will point out the service. Costumer has the right to choose the food and not to eat whatever will be served let alone the courtesy of the staff. At least thank you and goodbye, basics!
Great Greek food, highly recommended
Food was good with beautiful decorations
The staff here are absolutely superb: they could not be more helpful or welcoming. The food, meanwhile, is both authentic and delicious. We will definitely be visiting again!
Slightly over priced but 6 people in our group all happy with their food.
OK.
The pork chop portion is good but bit plain.
Very disappointed meal. I had been there before covid and liked the food. However it is not the same now. We were taken to a table in the corner between several large groups and there was bearly any space. I askes for another table because there are still a few around and almost empty downstairs and was told straight no because other people have booked specificly for all of the other tablea even though I made my booking more than a week ago. It took ages for them to come and serve us. At this point I didnt mind too much but the food was so disappointing, the lamb leg was so chewy and burnt on the side. Both lamb and potatoes were tastless, I really struggled to eat. My greek coffee came in such a tiny cup and half of it was dark solid god knows what, it was really disgusting. Some restaurants have average services but the food makes it up. Some have average food but service is good. This one has neither. I definitely wont go back.
No reliable availability for takeout/delivery
Delicious food and great service.
Good food but service needs to be improved.
Im really happy to celebrate my birthday there. I loved the nice table set for us, the friendly service, and the fact that they frequently came and asked us if we needed anything. The upstairs seemed to be reserved for us and my friends also enjoyed it very much. Definitely a place to go for special celebrations. Thank you very much for everything <3
Vegetarian food options are limited
We booked for a group a 14 (only 11 came in the end). We had a great dinner. The food is excellent and the friendly staff is providing a superb service. Will come back for sure!
We went to Cambridge for a 2 night stay, found this place on day two and I went back again on the third day before we headed back home. Food was good, we tried lamb shank, chicken thighs, Greek pizza, were all really good and their pork chop was massive! Service was good, the place was very relaxed but nice. It s perfect for large group or family with kids and the atmosphere was welcoming but not overwhelming. Would definitely go back again when we visit Cambridge again. Reasonable price too
A good place with friendly staff: friendly enough to let us eat 40 minutes before closing. We had Kofta and Greek salad: pretty much good-looking and tasty. Greek salad is one of my favorite, I cook it myself, and this one was delicious and filling. I would put less oil due to the calorie count, but its my own preferences, you might find it good. Due to the time, there were not many people,so we enjoyed our time. The only thing, I would recommend changing the owner to renew the upholstery on furniture. No hard feelings, it would give the place more attractiveness it deserves. thanks!
Great, intimate restaurant. A little pricey on Valentine s Day, but the experience was very positive welcoming staff, excellent food and relaxing atmosphere.
Chicken thigh, octopus and bread are the best.
Due to an allergy specifically asked for no tomatoes but came with loads on, I just threw it in the bin as as kept waiting for 45 mins for a takeaway sandwich and i couldnt sit through that again Even the uber driver was getting impatient outside. They werent even busy... The lad behind the counter was spot on though it werent his fault
Lovely food, good atmosphere
We ve been walking 20 minutes to eat some greek food and they refuse to take us in because shortage of staff. They said only online booking. I told them i will make online booking because it was slots available at that time on their website but they still refuse us. Me and my wife had to look another 30 minutes for another restaurant.
Lovely staff and service. Food was really good. The mixed grill wasn t as good as other dishes though
Fantastic authentic food with lovely attentive staff, a real gem of a find among the chains in Cambridge
Delicious lunch, great service. Only irritation was the constant flow of Just Eat and Deliveroo type couriers who somehow dont know how to close a door behind them.
we came for a meal for a family birthday recently. We ve come to the olive grove for many years but it has changed since the last time. The food was absolutely delicious and really good value. However our experience was ruined slightly by one of the servers who was pretty rude to us. I m not sure if there was miscommunication or if she had misheard us but there was an error with our order and an extra drink came to the table, had she counted she would have realised that there were too many drinks for the table (unless you plan to give a 2 year old a coke!). She then proceeded to openly talk about us with another waiter which we could all hear and give us dirty looks for the duration or an our meal. It was her error, not ours and it was just a drink not a huge expense. We then had to ask for the drink to be taken off the bill at the end. It made the whole meal feel uncomfortable and would put me off coming back. It always used to have a lovely friendly atmosphere. That being said the rest of the service was fine and the food was spectacular.
Very expensive for very average food.
Amazing food! Everything we had was really good. My parents talked about the dish they had for days after. The staff was helpfull and nice. I had the moussaka and it was soo good. Go here!
Visited Cambridge and this restaurant was my first choice, definitely didnt regret it. Staff was very nice, there was a lady very friendly. The food, was sooooo good! My dish had a lot for meat, sauce and all in it. Was just perfect and very fulfilling Not a big fan of the high table we sat down. Chairs make noise and felt like we disturbed the table behind
Great night out, with lovely food and excellent service. Second time there and will most definitely return. Highly recommend. Parking: No parking at the restaurant, but multi storey car park 5 minutes away and was free after 6pm.
Lovely restaurant
Fabulous food and atmosphere would recommend
Food was amazing. Staff very attentive. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant
Good tasty Greek food. Friendly, polite and efficient service. Lovely not to have loud music. Will almost certainly be back soon.
My partner and I, enjoyed a very lovely meal here, we turned up without booking and the staff were so accommodating, our server was very attentive and also knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The Loukaniko was delicious and seasoned well, the presentation was on point, it made you want to enjoy every bite even before you did so, the Baklava was also a wonderful treat, excellent pastry and crème patisserie which seemed to melt in your mouth. When Im back in Cambridge this is a place I shall be visiting again.
Very enjoyable. Great food and service. Would recommend.
Food and wines excellent; authentic Greek cuisine. Good value, about £40 per head for generous mezze and main course. Dined upstairs (which is quieter but perhaps a little austere) at one of two tables for 6 at the rear of the room. Will be back for more in due course.
Randomly dined here for Greek food. The menu offering was interesting as it had risotto. Started with the grilled octopus which was served on this delicious silky fava bean puree, however the grilled octopus itself had a funny taste and it seemed like those vacumn packed ones. The lemon risotto was interesting as it was refreshing but it did get heavy as you ate more.
Great Greek food and nice staff.
Overpriced
What a beautiful place in the centre of Cambridge city. Amazing vibe, great food and staff were courteous and helpful. Specially Hazel who explained and helped us with menu choices.
Its been not a first visit to Olive Grove. + Great selection of Greek food, olives and wine. Grilled octopus was not the best, but still good quality. (I would probably change the presentation of the dish.). Great wine - weve tried Malagouzia this time. - Table for us been offered only on ground floor. (strange later Ive discovered lots of available tables upstairs). So occasionally, you have to listen when delivery drivers are arguing with staff while waiting for online orders and they keep entrance door open so its a bit cold and windy. Wooden table been sticky, not sure if its a polish or table not cleaned properly. No one asked how was our food, no extra drinks been offered but waitress tried to clear our table twice with polite question Have you finished? even when our cutlerys still not been indicating it :)
Always good. Especially enjoy the souvlaki for a quickish lunch!
The Olive Grove was the perfect setting for my wifes birthday celebration and our first dining experience in Cambridge. Really warm and welcoming staff made us comfortable and got us a window side table. The food was lip smacking and a treat. Thank you The Olive Grove.
Our experience was a culinary delight. The vibrant colors and robust flavors of dishes like risotto and the eggplant were a feast for the senses. From the tangy feta cheese to the fragrant herbs, every bites were delicious!
Good and service food but need to improve sound damping
Sooo good! Went twice on staff dinner cus it was that delicious. Favourite dishes are the starters in general. Staff is friendly and service is attentive. Good wine too.
Great food. Some confusion with service. Throughout the night had food served to us meant for another table. The mixed grill was a really decent portion, would recommend. The lamb shank was really lovely and tender too.
Everything is very nice, but when tourists come or people who are 16 years old like me come, people here generally react differently, so I thought I would break one :)) But then, the service was very good and the food was very nice, let me tell you that they favored us a little. I recommend a nice place with white surroundings and classical design. I especially prefer you to come with your family.
Really nice! Fantastic food and very kind service.
Very cute place. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful to everyone. The food is good, very fresh ingredients and good smokey charring on the meat.
The food is good on principle but there is always something else going wrong, either they deliver someone elses order, or totally forget about it, or the food is burnt and there is a stone shard in it
Whilst the food is always good they really do mess up deliveries way too often. Too many times now something either missing or wrong with our order. Only offering to refund the item not delivered which doesn t really help the fact that we ordered and paid for what we wanted.
Lovely, tasty and well presented food. Service is friendly and efficient. We love eating here.
Had a voucher for The Olive Grove, so pleased we had it as without it we hadnt heard of the restaurant and we love greek food. Highly recommend, cosy venue, warmly greeted and efficient service. Lovely selection of food and generous portions, left feeling very full. Meat was cooked to perfection, sauce provided with main meal was delicious. Will definately return! Definately add the feta chips to your order!! Parking: About a 5min (ish) walk from paid street parking
We had the joy of eating on a sticky table. Also, sticky and slimy as the squid we had as a starter. About 13 pounds for a poor tentacle. We had made it clear to the waitress that it was for three people to share. She did not see fit to tell us that it was for one person, and even then The waitresses ignored us, in fact one of them was used as decoration for the place. Afterwards we had to wait 1 hour for our dishes. Fortunately they were good despite the frozen vegetables in the risotto. In summary: pretty good food (apart from the squid), really very limited service, and you shouldnt be afraid of going home late!
Really enjoyed our food, healthy portions and really delicious flavours. The service was polite, friendly and efficient. The only down side (which we did discuss with our lovely waitress) was that lighting above our table which was uncomfortably bright. The table next to us felt the same and our waitress kept turning down the pendant lights but they kept increasing in brightness. It s not conducive to a relaxing evening when you are squinting through a very bright overhead light! Other than that, we were very happy with it food and the service.
Waited for close to 1.5 hours to get 2 simple starters. No communication during this whole time. Waiters looked very junior and did not seem to care. Only got a lukewarm apology (from the owner I believe) after we said we were cancelling our mains due to lack of time. Starters were pretty good though, and the rest of the menu looked good. Real shame the service and delay made it a very poor experience. This was dinner on a weekday in early July 23.
Food was delicious but portions quite small. We were offered smaller portion of risotto for our daughter but not much of a price difference. I would go for the full version next time. Nice staff and cute restaurant
Best gyro on the planet!
No WiFi.. connected to their system but no Internet? A must nowadays. You ng waitresses were not at all bothered when I asked.
We booked a table at the Olive Grove for lunch for 5 and ended up being extremely disappointed. We wanted to have some greek food so found one close to where we parked so the plan was to book the table for later so we can have lunch and drive back to Oxford but the restaurant had a twist in mind. They dont allow dogs anywhere in the restaurant! The restaurant was empty and the website has an FAQ which doesnt specify anything about the apparent unfriendliness towards dogs. We wasted 30mins walking back to the town centre to find a decent dog friendly restaurant. Very disappointed and not recommended!
Excellent food, great for sharing. I had a really charismatic and friendly waitress. I recommend getting lots of small dishes to share. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I definitely recommend coming.
Very tasty, authentic Greek food. Super nice and friendly staff. One young lady even speaks excellent German. Gladly again at any time.
Food was ok.. bland taste.. very expensive.. not various choices for vegans.. Service was great.. Atmosphere is very bad.. place feel dull .. toilets are messy and dirty and you have to go upstairs for them.. if you are disabled you can not use toilets.. Had queries about my bill, no one was able to answer.. £70 for two main course and glass of wine.. not again Parking: No parking on the road.. you got to park at Queen Ann car park and pay
It a a great place with delicious food and outstanding stuff! 100% recommended
Amazing food, pretty surroundings with attention to detail, attentive and friendly service. Can t wait to go back.
Food and service was good. Aye of the street menu and had trad gyros. Delicious staff, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Atmosphere was quite, because we ate mid afternoon so as to miss the rush
If you re looking for something Greek and appetising this is the right place. Food takes a while to come as it been cooked on demand and the portions are fit for a king. Me and my partner are very pleased with the service and the quality of the food . We would definitely visit again next time we are in Cambridge Area
Very good food, good sized portions
Food is nice and delicious. Good service. Price reasonable. Location is convenient, highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: Spacious and huge toilet for baby and children.
Good food, a bit limited on drinks and the coffee barista wasnt working so coffee was limited otherwise a great place.
Customer service is very poor ,and the staff is very rude they don t know how to talk to customer I suggest no one to go this pace
We went for a light lunch 10/10.23. The food was fine , certainly a 3 star. But the ladies serving started to paint, yes paint!! the other empty wooden tables ( we were the only diners). I can honestly say that that was a unique experience. Not impressed.
great little restaurant with lovely food and excellent service.
A really nice authentic Greek restaurant.
Delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The bougatses were particularly tasty!
This restaurant is not coeliac-friendly. The staff did not provide the assistance and support I expected; instead, they seemed indifferent and gave unhelpful responses. It was the first time in my life that I felt uncomfortable in a restaurant due to my coeliac condition. The dinner was a disappointing experience. At least food for the rest of customers was fine.
I love the food here. Extensive menu selection, if a little pricey, but there are also delicious cheaper options, like the wraps.
Salad was basic. - tomatoes soggy, minimal taste and swamped on feta cheese ; salaya overwhelmed with garlic; mousakka mediocre and v expenzive for such small portions. £6 to serve food on top of that too! Wont be back or recommenin g. Tagine wasnt a real tagine either.
Lovely restaurant and good food
Service was good and food was great - two of us had the Mixed Grill which was a huge plate of very tasty food - probably too much for most people but very good value for money. The shish kebab was a little overcooked but everything else was excellent and very enjoyable - I especially enjoyed the Greek Sausage. What was slightly disappointing was 10% service charge put on the bill. Given we were the only customers in the restaurant (apart from a few people collecting takeaways) it did feel a bit excessive.
Had a lovely meal om Saturday eve in the topnfloornof the restaurant. All our food was excellent, with thr prawn orzo ad the highlight!
great place for food and lovely atmosphere for a long relaxed lunch with an old friend where we can hear each other speak!!!
Delicious food, great service, enormous portions. Will be back
Great place to eat. Food and drinks were top notch. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon. Food : 5/5
Service is very poor staff need learn how to behave with customers.
We ate caciki, smoked aubergine mezze, Greek salad, garides saganaki, octopus and fried calamari. First, all the waitresses were very polite, caring and kind. Mezzes and salad were big portioned and delicious and were as expected. Saganaki dish is dominated by tomato sauce (tasty) but fewer garides and less saganaki cheese than expected. Octopus seems stiff but soft and delicious inside. Calamari is standard and tasty. Only disappointment was the ouzo. Restaurant does not serve bottled ouzo but only glasses ones. For me, it would be lovely if we can order a small bottle and/or a service of plain ouzo in ouzo glass with optional ice and water would be preferable. Thanks for everything and we will come here again to try lamb dish. Highly recommended!!
We ate tzatziki, melatzani, greek salad, octopus, garides saganaki and fried calamari. The appetizers were large portions and delicious, as a Turk accustomed to similar tastes from his own cuisine, everything was as expected. Salad and calamari were also above average, we liked them. The octopus seemed hard on the outside, but inside it was soft and tasted like it had been grilled. The saganaki was not what we are used to, there was less cheese, too much tomato sauce and I think the number of shrimps was less. The only disappointment was the ouzo. They dont serve bottled ouzo, you can only buy a glass. The first round of drinks was served in gin glasses, snow white and without water, with plenty of ice. In the second round, the service came in a whiskey glass. As someone who loves raki, the brother of ouzo, I would prefer ouzo served neat and in its own glass, with optional ice and water on the side. It is tradition in raki, raki never meets ice directly, it crystallizes, it is either drunk neat or cold water is added first and then ice is added. I also drank ouzo in a few places in Greece, my experience was different, but ultimately it is restaurant preference of course. Just a small note for those who will go and care about this detail :) Other than that, definitely recommended!! We tried different dishes, and they were all very tasty, and good-sized portions. The staff was friendly too
Very good - one of the best Greek restaurants in East Anglia.
Delicious food, great service and good atmosphere.
Service couldve been quicker on what appeared to be a not so busy night but food here is always top quality
Bad service
Great restaurant, the food was delicious, the service was great and the set up was really nice. Definitely recommend the place and will go back to enjoy more of the lovely things they have to offer.

Food was fantastic. Service was also good.
Amazing Greek food
For a party 13 they took a very long time on getting drinks once we got drinks they also took time for getting our starters out. And again we had to ask for more bottles of water. 2nd round of drinks they could not cater for as they said they had ran out and did not have enough staff so they said they will give us a bottle of house white on the house but was not enough for everyone food tasted great staff are pleasant and very helpful thank you. If you book a party be prepared. Thank you
Big group booking service was very slow, and it was 25 minutes to get drinks , but the food was nice Cocktails are not so good, very little alcohol in them Dietary restrictions: 1 person needed gluten-free and was catered for well.
Lovely food and ambient. The staff were wonderful. Highly recommend.
