Extremely tasty and authentic Indian food at affordable prices. Highly recommend their Biryanis, daal, paneer, and pretty much everything. The flavours and ingredients are also fresh and complex (unlike many Indian restaurants in UK). Highly highly recommended! The staff and service is also very kind - they always offer a cup of tea if you collect at the store, and delivery is generally timely, well packaged and polite. I am eagerly awaiting for Namaste Cambridge to perhaps open a sit-in restaurant in Cambridge, too! I had opportunity to taste Namaste Cambridge at a Birthday Party in Camborne, I liked the food served and tasted the best home away food!

Booked for the restaurant but walked to the takeaway unit, which is in an industrial area. Completely my mistake, so never got to eat meal. But if it s anything like the restaurant in Sheringham, can highly recommend!

Great food, wonderful Chai This takeaway place is essentially just a window in a garage at a retail park, but the experience was great. After placing your order you get a Chai while waiting and the super-friendly and helpful staff check in on you regularly. Also they were concerned that the food could be too spicy, so they gave me a sample to try (it was absolutely fine, and very tasty). I would definitely recommend the place and will go again when in Cambridge.

Very good take away. I started talking to the boss and his colleagues. Very friendly team. Everyone tries very hard to make you feel comfortable as a customer and make the right choice despite not knowing the dishes. I took a dish for my wife and everyone was very careful to keep the spiciness tolerable. If I lived in Cambridge this would be a good address and I would definitely stop by again. - And yes, the bad review of a predecessor must be a mix-up. The Namaste (where I was) is clearly a take away and not a restaurant - Oh yes and last but not least: we really enjoyed it!

Its been 7 days since we have arrived in Cambridge & we have ordered food from Namaste Cambridge on almost all of those days! The place was recommended by a friend. We have mostly collected our orders for 2 main reasons - 1) We get to interact with the lovely folks at the counter 2) We are treated to some amazing masala chai on the house! So far we have tried almost all of their splendid biryanis & tandoori chicken. Today we tried their Mughlai Curry. It was simply superb. Many more things to try on their menu. The menu is quite reasonable for the quality & quantity of food. Namaste Cambridge has helped us not miss our home too much. Love their food & service. Keep up the good work. We will do all we can to spread the good word about you guys. Cheers! :)

After seeing so many good reviews, I decided to try this place a few months back. 1. No 10% discount on collection was given as default until I asked for it. Based on this, I didnt bother to ask for the masala chai anyway. So, thats something for customer service to work on. 2. Food was okay. Samosa was good. Tandoori chicken was bad. Paneer butter masala was okay. 3. I recently saw a comment on their Facebook page, someone asking if Food is Halal or not and they have acknowledged their food as Halal (while it didnt mention about it anywhere else). So, that another reason for me to NOT visit this place ever again.

Its collection so you cant eat there. But honestly the food was very nice. I really liked the mandi biriyani and mango lessi. Their service is also good even offered some lamb gravy for us. Food all in all i really loved it

This place has authentic Indian food especially really tasty biryanis. It has become our favourite in the past one year. The staff is always welcoming and delivers to your door step when you need to. Thanks to Ali for delivering the food to us quite early in your day for an event.

Absolutely fantastic food! Ive been a regular customer at this Indian restaurant in Cambridge for the past two years, and they have never disappointed me. The service is impeccable, the food is consistently delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try youll quickly find its one of the best Indian (HYDERABADI) taste in all of Cambridge. Vegetarian options: There are alot of vegeterian dishes with daily new menu on their website. Snacks and tiffins are the 1 of the best to go meal with also, new varities of fresh and delicious sweets for the dessert craving.

Fantastic food, we searched for the indian food near to the cambridge station and found this gem...but we missed one part that it is take away only...we reached there today with family....after reaching there found that it is a cloud kitchen and delivery only...we took biriyani and chicken 65 for there along with mango lassi and laddus. The food is tasty, and the portion is quite big. If you are looking for a pocket friendly good food joint, please try this one.

In another occasion, I had the opportunity to have starters veg and non veg and curries with roti, definitely recommended. Vegetarian options: Many southindian vegetarian options, i called them before hand to check the days menu and they added few additional asking my preferences.

While Namaste Cambridge Takeaway boasts a varied menu, the biryani fell short of expectations. Lacking in flavor and authenticity, it failed to impress me

We had placed a large order for a professional party of about 50 people. We were organising this party specially with a pan-Indian dining menu. It was a swift process placing the order, getting the bulk delivery, and we got genuinely warm and prompt response from the Namaste Cambridge team. All the food items were fantastic - it was a mix of veg and non-veg items, including starters, mains and desserts. All our guests praised the food long after the party. I have been in ordering food from them for quite a few years, this is one of the place I order food more frequently. The taste is amazing and best suits if someone looking for proper Indian (mostly Hyderabad style but not limited to, they try all Indian and Arabian style dishes all the time). If I am carving for Indian food with proper amount of spice level and taste ,this is the go to place , particularly with reasonable price and location is easy to reach.

[19 May 2024] dum biryani NC special - 7.5/10. alright, ginger and clove forward flavour profile Malabar biryani - 8.5/10, really nice. more salty and cardamom forward. get this next time. [5 Nov 2023] Kadai Chicken - 9.5/10, damn good Mutton curry - 6.5/10, not sure what went wrong. just kind of bland. only thing I got was cinnamon. Veg Manchurian - 7.5/10, would have been a 10/10 if crispier. No naan listed on deliveroo! sad. [2022] mutton curry 9/10 fried chicken 9/10 (actually a dry curry, not fried) paneer butter masala 9/10 chilli paneer 7/10 nagpur chicken 7/10

My go to for authentic Biryani and Currys. Consistent flavours and service. Would highly recommend. The flavours and spice level is on the higher side but delicious. Exactly how it should be. Highly recommend the Dum Lamb Biryani and Butter Chicken. Portions are huge, can be shared between 2 comfortably.

There is no value for money.. They give very small quantity for the amount they charge, despite them being a takeaway service.. A paneer dish that costs 7.5pounds had barely 10 pieces.. Rest of the curries are all lacking in quantity despite a large order.... Dissappointed with their service.

Service was 4 because most of the food was cold - they assumed wed heat it up at home. How ever, were visiting Cambridge so staying in a hotel - we didnt mention that either. Good to know they cook food every day, rather than hearing up the frozen stuff. Its a take.away so no eating given for the atmosphere Vegetarian options: Good selection of veg options available. Veg dum biryani was too notch even if its not hot (temperature) and the gutti vankaya curry was exactly how its done at my home. Really reasonable prices for the quantity they gave and for the quality!! Highly recommend the place :)

I ve used their takeaway service few times now and am disappointed with their customer handling and the unnecessary issues during food collection. I always contact them before ordering, requesting my food to be ready before 6:00 P.M. But when I arrive, my order isn t ready and I m made to wait outside, one occasion for nearly half an hour, while other delivery services like Just Eat are constantly collecting their orders even before 6:00 P.M. There have been times when an item was missing, or the ordered item was sold out and I was forced to accept a substitute. One of my orders, two of the same item were missing and I had to go back to collect them. During my latest order, I noticed the same mistake while packing, he packed only one item and I had to remind him that he hasn t packed all the items ordered. The latest order, the chicken curry and chicken majestic, was very salty and I didn t enjoy the food. If someone orders takeaway food for collection, they need to ensure all the items ordered are packed as they are prone to making mistakes.

As you can imagine we have food from many an Indian restaurant from all over the country over the years.we would whole heartedly recommend the food from Namaste Cambridge.Authentic taste and flavours,good sized portions,reasonably priced and hygienicly packed. Only slight criticism if I m honest is it does take long for home delivery to reach places like Peterborough! That being said overall it very positive experience. I hope their standards can be kept up as their business grows.
