Park Terrace, Cambridge CB1 1JH, United Kingdom
A new Thai Restaurant in Central Cambridge started in July 2020 under the same management as Bird Thai Noodle Bar in the market square. We serve delicious and Authentic Thai street food! Bringing Thailand to Cambridge for you🍽
My favourite Thai food in the town. It is not only Tom Yum in here. Always want to try new dish and Always happy with them. Never disappointed.
We ordered deep fried pork belly, calamari, pad thai, and grilled chicken. It is very delicious and very authentic Thai food. The price is also reasonable. We'll surely come again and recommend it to everyone.
I had my first visit to Baan Thai Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Thai street food, and the Moo Yang grilled pork was especially lovely. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine!” Update: a happy returning customer!! Our noodles were delicious!!!
My new favourite restaurant in Cambridge. Being a huge Thai food lover, I can't believe I have only just discovered Baan Thai! Prices are really reasonable and the portions are just right. I recommend the pad see eeew and papaya salad. 10/10
A wide selection of Thai food. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. Staffs are courteous and attentive to our requests. This place was almost full when we came, but we made reservations earlier, so we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Parking at the vicinity of this restaurant is an issue. There are not many available street parking - we parked at the Grafton shopping area and walked like 9mins to reach here.
Fantastic restaurant with an interesting, varied menu and excellent service. We have eaten there several times over the last couple of years and have enjoyed everything we've eaten. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is usually lively but relaxing and welcoming. Sitting by the windows looking out onto Parker's Piece is great for people watching and the music playing is often K-pop. Our favourite dishes are Khao Gai Tord with Panang curry, Kao Pad Prik Gang, Kao Pad Kra Pao, Pad Med MaMuang, Pad Thai and Som Tum Thai which is fearsomely hot but delicious.
Good Value Restaurant The portion is the smallest among all of the Thai restaurants in the Cambridge town centre. It's nothing wrong for small portions at all. Good if you are cautious on weight. If not cautious on weight, eating in this restaurant allows you to have room for other food afterwards. The food, especially the stir fry is not very oily or too salty. But it still tasted nice. Reasonable price. I think it's an ideal restaurant for customers who are cautious to their health and weight!
Three of us went here for dinner and had a really nice time. Baan Thai is a hidden gem of a Thai place in Cambridge. The food was tasty, decent portion sizes, staff were friendly, respectful and very helpful. We had fried rice, tom yum soup, pork skewers, sea bass with rice and crispy squid. We all enjoyed the food. If you love Thai and live in Cambridge, you should give this place a go 👍
A wonderful place to get authentic Thai cuisine. The staff were super friendly and the meal was amazing.
Great food and great value!
The food was decent, but the atmosphere was like stepping into a cheap nightclub full of rowdy drunks. The noise level was so unbearable that I had to shout just to communicate with the person sitting across from me. Definitely not a place I d ever visit again.
Beautiful restaurant, but very expensive.
Have come here several times and I have not been disappointed (especially after knowing which dishes I love)! For one, the Moo Tord is a dish that I often crave for - the crispy savouriness of the pork belly with the sauce on the side is the stuff of dreams. Pair that with the Tom Yum Nam Kon, which is the classic spicy creamy soup, or the Tom Zaap Ka Dook Moo, which is a hot and sour soup, and I m satisfied (until I crave it again). The Tom Zaap Ka Dook Moo wasn t something I d tried in Thai cuisine before but it was delicious - the sourness cuts through any other greasiness from other dishes you might have. I would also recommend the Kao Khai Jeaw Moo Sab if you re wanting a simple dish for one person, it s really just a deep fried omelette with minced pork and other toppings (on top of rice) but it goes really well with the rice and a bit of the sauce that s provided which gives a spicy sweet tanginess to the dish. Might be a good idea to book a table in advance if it s a weekend because they can get quite busy some days and might turn you away if you re a walk-in!
amazing service. we came with 26 pax and they helped us to split the bill amongst us all :)))
By far the best Thai restaurant in Cambridge!! Super helpful personnel and very good service!! Great food as well!!
Excellent food and customer service every time!
best Thai food in Cambridge hands down no notes slay
Had a lovely experience at Baan Thai, the food was delicious. Many thanks to the staff for helping to accommodate our large group of 20!
We visited Cambridge 2 weekends ago. It was lovely to have found this lovely Thai restaurant. Very tasty, fresh food, helpful friendly staff. Very good quality. Definitely a place we recommend. Antonio & Martin Food
This might be my favorite restaurant. The food is simply delicious, the vibes are immaculate, the service is friendly and warm, and the view of Parkers Piece, especially at lunch in the sunlight, is lovely. Ive been here several times over a 6-month period and the quality is very consistent. Some of my menu favorites include the duck noodle soup, roast duck, and the Thai green tea. I cant recommend this place more highly.
Food was okay but nothing special. A bit over-hyped in my opinion.
Great food and service
Was pretty good, went there mostly for the wife and the food was nice though Id say price is a bit too much
Very delicious! Very authentic Thai food! It tastes the same as what I had in Thailand! The price is also reasonable! I will come again!
Delicious Thai food!! Freshly cooked and authentic flavours
Good food and nice view of the sport field and Cambridge sky wheel. Very friendly and lovely staff. Recommend to all
The food is very nice and the chicken has a melting taste in your mouth. The atmosphere has some signs and some fake grass hung on the walls. The only problem is the service which is short staffed and takes too long to get your order. The days I came on were short staffed but may not be on all days.
Ordered a take away. Worst £40 spent on a take away. Not sure what other people are eating at this restaurant but the spring rolls the pastry too thick. The rice tasteless, the vegetables tasteless, dont get me started on the chicken satay. The vegetarian noodles were jelly texture in nature tasted like fish. I offered it to the dog and he vex too. Dont go here for a take away, dont waste your precious money. In fact, I should have been paid to eat this muck. I cant even give the food a star, I can cook a better Thai dish than that and should have done it myself and saved my money.
Best Thai food in the UK. Very authentic!
Horrible, bad quality of food, the shrimp is not fresh.
Came here while walking towards British Museum from X Cross. Really like hospitality and friendliness. The portion is also huge.
Fantastic Thai restaurant, highly recommended
bird bird recommend
Nice food with reasonable prices. Loved the orange drink with ice with condensed milk and the M9. Kao Pad Prik Gang Food
Denied service
Everything is super good! We loved it and the treatment from the staff has been great. I recommend it 100%!!
as seen on photos i ve been here on multiple occasions! loved the food and the place! the only downside for me is their opening hours and it s a bit pricey but couldn t complain with the food quality and the customer service you gets! Recommended Food
It was OK, had better, had worse
I think it is the best Thai food in Cambridge.
First time going here tonight, lovely little restaurant looking over the park. Was empty when we got there at 6.30 so wasn t sure what to expect. Had the squid for starter 10/10, then the wife and I had 2 different mains. Both were superb. Left around 8pm and the place was packed. Great food and great service, I d would definitely visit again when in the area.
Love this place. Best Thai food in Cambridge for sure!
Amazing food! Nice staff. Great value for money!
I planned my daughters birthday meal and travelled from Leicester to eat here with my family however the girl who served us was hopeless. The bill came out even before the birthday cake who Jake kindly arranged. Very disappointed. Please can the manager call me ASAP. UPDATE: The owner emailed and after a few emails refused to refund any further discounts. The money I didnt mind paying however the special occasion was. Be mindful of this establishment when you decide to choose Ban Thai. Never again and 1 distraught daughter and parents.
Amazing food and service. They found us a table even though it was super busy (I recommend booking in advance). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. We particularly enjoyed the fried rice and Tom yum soup. Portion sizes are also very generous. Thank you!
My family and I had a really great time as the food was amazing and the staff were exceptionally kind and respectful. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for an amazing Thai restaurant!
Authentic Thai food in Cambridge. All of the food ordered was delicious especially the Pork Green Curry. Eventhough the steam fish in lime was not what we expected but it still taste good. Didnt managed to take a pic before eating.
We went to Baan Thai Street food for the first time. The staff are all Thai. They are friendly and always smile, this brings the atmosphere in this restaurant brighter. The food was lovely and tasty. If I go to Cambridge I will definitely visit this place again.
The most spicy and authentic Thai I had. The papaya salad is amazing
I really enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food. The staff are attentive and friendly too.
Ate here with my girlfriend, absolutely amazing service and food. I recommend the duck panang and chicken green curry. 10/10
The pad Thai was a bit too sweet and the friend chicken thigh was a bit oily, but the overall experience was amazing. The stirred fry pork with basil and beans is really spicy but so delicious.
Very good food. Very friendly service. Probably one of the best Thai restaurants Ive visited in England.
Really delicious! Enjoyed every single dish
Incredible local gem. We went in with no expectations and had some of the best thai food of our lives. For 60 pounds we got a main, a starter and dessert each. Not only was the quality incredible, but the quantity was great too - we needed a box to take home leftovers (I am a big guy - its the first time in the UK I had leftovers at a thai place). Vegetarian options: Tofu or vegetables available for very many mains.
Nice restaurant very well situated with nice bay windows on the edge of a large green. The food is excellent and the cost quite resonnable with respect to the food quality. Signed: a French food lover
Authentic Thai food and one of the best in Cambridge. Nice view if you have the window seat next to Parker Piece. Very good service.
best thai in town and great team
I had the spicy bamboo shot stirfry (Pad Ped Nor Mai). As a Thai, I can say that this is one of the more Thai versions of Thai food sold around Cambridge. The fried egg is exactly the way we would have it in Thailand. The ingredients were authentic as well, but the taste was just okay. It wasnt anywhere spicy, and maybe because I ordered tofu version of it, they might have thought I was vegetarian and therefore skipped my fish sauce which is a sin in Thai cooking... Spicy wasnt spicy at all. Wonder how I could order to get the real Thai version next time. I am sure the chef is capable. The vibe and services are great.
Actually amazing Thai food wow! The chicken and pork were perfectly tender and the sweet & spicy Jaew sauce pairs well with everything, would highly recommend the fried rice, simple but very well executed! The beef was quite chewy but the flavour and spice level was just perfect . Staff was very friendly and restaurant had great ambiance, loved everything about it, 100% recommend!
Me and my BF wanted to try some nice Tai food and found this place near us. We had a lovely starter - Kai Satay (chicken skewers) and we had one main with chicken and I had M5 Kao Cluk Ka Pi, both were amazing! Lots of flavours, delicious and juicy meats, perfect sauces and the veggies were nicely decorated. We also ordered draught beers which was lovely and chilled. And service was lovely. We came in when it was not too busy, but it got pretty busy in late evening. We tried to ring in advance, but unfortunately did not get through, so luckily we still managed to get a table.
Absolutely amazing. Service was top notch. And the food.. one of the best Thai food Ive had.
Freshly cooked and authentic
good food good view good staff
We really enjoyed the food. Good value and quality. The soup was awesome. I highly recommend if you like spicy food.
Authentic Thai food right here! Nothing is westernised or watered down for the farang palates. This place serves the real deal!
Lovely food, however the plastic plates do not keep the food hot.
The Tom Yum Nam Kon (Hot and Spicy creamy tom yum) soup was definitely spicy & YUM !! The Kang Kiew Wan green curry was awesome and stayed great and fresh tasting even the next day ! The Pad Thai noodles and the Pad Pak Ruam Mit (Stir fried fresh mixed vegetables) were to the point as well
Nice view and great service.
Just wow. The best Thai Green Curry I have ever tasted in my life. There were flavours I have never been able to taste before. A beautiful explosion of delicate, yet poignant components. Think Ratatouille the film, and I m Remy; fireworks in the form of food. Take any chance you can to taste this unforgettable dish. Great value for money, Lovely atmosphere, and even sweeter staff. Fantastic.
Honestly some of the best Thai food I ve had! A lot of places in London I struggle to find that do Thai omelettes but I m so happy they had it here and it was DELICIOUS! The Tom yum was also amazing. My boyfriend cleaned out his entire plate. Not a single rice was left. Honestly left so so so full and It makes me wish I didn t live so far from Cambridge! The fried banana and ice cream was also one of the best I ve had. The crumbs or breading was a great balance of crunchy and soft. It wld melt and crunch in my mouth. It literally sounded amazing from the crunch. Staff were super nice and checked up on us to ensure we were doing alright. All smiles, all kind and very lovely. Loved the music too! Definitely will be back just to eat here again.
I highly recommend this Thai restaurant every food is brilliant and exceptionally friendly and polite staff
Very nice location and ideal for confidential chats. Really like the seats next to the window facing the lawn. Got the mango+prawn+rice+sausage thing in the picture. The bird eye chili is sooo spicy and refreshing as a side thing to add for fun Food
Great location. Enjoyed the flavorful, spicy, and not too salty dishes. Suki Raum Mit was recommended by a friend from Thailand. Adequate portion of protein. And thanks for accommodating to my request for an as-subtly-sweet-as-possible Thai ice tea (no matter how much sugar it still contained, this gave me an excuse to sip the lovely drink ;) Will visit more to try different dishes. 2 Tried more flavorful dishes by inviting friends here. Kudos to the spiciness ;) and generous portions The Pla Tod Nam Pla (Deep Fried Fish) is stellar. Crispy crust and scales! And juicy tender flesh. The sauce is just right. Tom Yum soup contains only simple ingredients (mushrooms and many shrimps) but the taste is great. Mixed salad (SL8) has more shrimp than veggies. Perhaps next time I ll do with the simplest papaya salad. The spiciness is too the point, though I d prefer more complexity in the spices. Solid homely Thai food. // The heaping green papaya salad is so refreshing! The crispy sea bass is great as always. Pad Thai can have a bit more eggs but is nicely seasoned.
We got the shrimp paste fried rice, which tasted authentic and fragrant. I would say the shrimp paste is a must try ingredient for anyone who is into exotic flavors! The pork, sausages and mangoes go with it but could use a bit more effort on the red onions, which were unflavored without spice. The crispy squid was really crispy and flavorful, pieces were big as well. My partner enjoyed his Tom Yum soup with mushrooms.
Authentic, delicious Thai food and friendly service. Food came within 5 minutes!
The food and service were spot on. Clean and very reasonably priced, with a good location, will definitely go again.
Platonic ideal of a restaurant. Excellent food at a reasonable price and great pleasant service. One of the staff (guy in a grey shirt) even checked the CCTV to see if wed left a hat there. I will continue to come back again and again and again...
I never thought that you can taste the same taste as Thailand in Cambridge!
Amazing food service and location
traditional thai food #15 and #58. easy and good thai food in the centre. my #1 thai food.
Turned up at 9:15pm to order take out. Apparently kitchen is closed and no order. Online says it closes at 10pm. Honestly don t understand how they are in business with service like this, especially in these times.
The food is very delicious. If anyone comes to travel and misses Thai food. Stop by this shop, you wont be disappointed. Very good service. Impressed.
I like to eat Thai food and this is the most delicious Thai restaurant I have tried.
I want everyone to try the food at this restaurant. Delicious, very satisfying.
Crispy Pork is the best
My go to restaurant during my study at cambridge. Very delicious and authentic Thai food and lovely view of Parker s Piece. Price is reasonable for the quality and portion and the service is just super friendly all the times :) will come back whenever I am at cambridge!!
As a Thai person, I can reassure that this place serves authentic Thai food, closest to what I normally eat in Thailand. The price is reasonable and the vibe in the restaurant is perfect. The staffs are also super friendly and very helpful.
Amazing restaurant with fantastic food and lovely staff! Could never get tired of the food despite going so often myself always something new to try and never disappoints! Would highly recommend!
Good food overall! All dishes at baan Thai are pretty much authentic and the restaurant makes you feels that you are having actual street food in Bangkok. One of my go-for dish is Moo Krob (crispy pork). It is one of the best I have had in UK Thai restaurant, succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside, you can easily eat two bowl of rice with that. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who love Thai food!
Amazing food
Amazing fish and very nice staff. The location is very central and I sat near the windows overlooking the Parker s piece.
Food was something special at Baan Thai. We had Thai fish cakes and calamari starter, Thai green curry and massaman for main course, and ice cream and deep fried banana for desert. Utterly brilliant food. Thank you for a great evening Baan Thai.
Recently tried this again since ownership change.. surprisingly improved quite a fair amount since then! Bit on the pricy side.
nice
Bloody delicious Great friendly service Recommend the crispy squid to start the panang curry as a main and the sticky rice and custard to finish With a beer of course Delish - just a shame were not local otherwise we would be here once a week!
Everything is just superb. Delish food, warm service, nice decoration too. Just need to be warned that it can be very busy especially during dinner.
Everything was great. Good value for money
Atmosphere was really lovely, and staff were really friendly. Food came out really promptly, and it was delicious!
The food tastes AMAZINGgggGgggG!!! I ordered the deep fried pork and spicy seafood noodle. They both taste authentic and super duper tasty. The floor is so clean. The toilet is so clean. The view is nice from the restaurant. Cant wait to go to the restaurant again!!!
We had a lovely meal and experience.. recommend for good thai We tried thai ice tea.. felt a bit watered down .. Jasmine tea was nice Crispy pork n assorted veggie with sticky rice n fried egg Pad si ew with beef.. rice noodles could be a little more cooked .. quite flavorful Soup with glass noodles and broth with shrimp, chicken ... Spicy Dessert.. sticky rice with custard.. was ok.. was hoping mango...
Great Food , delicious and promptly served , excellent staff ,well done Parking: Easy to park Dietary restrictions accommodated None of the above
I had the Suki Rum Mit (glass noodles with chicken and pork slices, with prawns and squid cooked in a spicy savoury and subtly sweet sauce), and creamy Tom yum soup. The food was absolutely divine, and authentically Thai (speaking as someone who loves northern / Isan Thai cuisine). Ingredients were really fresh and generous too (the meat and veg to carb ratio higher than most places). It was definitely spicy (my tolerance for spice is high - can finish a pack of the spiciest Korean instant noodles) as I picked the option which had three chillies next to it on the menu - and would say the food is definitely suited to anyone with a south Asian palate. Location was perfect - providing a scenic view of Parker s place and the ferris wheel through the wide glass window panels. Service was warm and friendly too.
Good authentic and spicy Thai food served by friendly and efficient staff.
Great service and friendly. The food was lovely and tasty.
It tastes pretty good. In addition to mushrooms, the tom yum soup contains shrimps.
Best thai in Cambridge
Mediocre Thai food for vegetarians. Have definitely eaten in much better Thai restaurants which have good vegetarian options in Cambridge. Not worth the steep price.
Amazing food. Lots of choices. Different food options than every other Thai restaurant in the town. Modern and clean restaurant!!
Happy customer
Tasty
Lovely restaurant! Dont let the outside fool you. Beautiful location, lovely food, great service!
I had fish cakes and suki ruam mit (dry). I highly recommend the suki; the seafood in it was very tender and tasty. Be warned, though, that it is very spicy. I needed an iced tea to recover from it. You get a nice view of Parkers Piece as well.
Food here are basically already localized. Below are the foods that I think quite good for my first time tried: Poh peah tord, moo yang, pla muek tod (very fresh squid), pla tod nam pla ( very crispy sea bass), moo tord Thai milk tea- very sweet, not really thai tea for me. Tomyum nam sai - very mild hot and sour taste, overall taste mild. i think lack of kiffir lime leaves and lemongrass. Som tham salad- crazy hot and sour salad. I cant taste the fish sauce and dried shrimp, just too hot. Pad thai- this dishes is like ketchup stir fried noodle, not the signature pad thai used to be, quite disappointed.
Great spicy food. If you like asian food with good spicy sauce. You can go and test a lot different dishes.
Very good thai restaurant, nice place. Took pad thai, and noodle soup the second time. Nice portions.
Its one of my favourite restaurants in camb. You should try Tom yum and banana fries!! K POP is excellent bgm.
Overall, excellent! Parking bit hard to find, prepare to walk a couple of minutes. Be careful of resident parking areas. Mae ( ) and Jake were great! Friendly place and Thai people eating there is a good sign of authenticity. Most dishes are authentic. Only some are westernized. Ordered Som Tum (papaya salad), Pla Thod (fried fish), Hmu Krob (crispy fried pork belly), Duck noodle soup. Singha from the tap. All of the dishes were amazing and close to the original Thia street food dishes. The pork was the exception. It was slightly westernized. Closer to a chopped schnitzel. Singha from the tap was really fresh and tasted amazing. They have a good tap for the beer. The visit was a refreshment in the UK food scene. Felt home, great food, vegetables, seafood, pork and all to high standard. Congrats! Will be back!
The food was nice and the place was very calm and quiet
Ending the day with a Pad Thai in the park was just an insane event. Highly recommend
Tasty food as well as great ambiance
Excellent Thai street food - a particular focus on Isan food but all the usual favourites are there too. The Kai Tord fried chicken was amazing! Fast and friendly service, and a nice relaxed environment.
Delicious food with fantastic menu, spotlessly clean setting and speedy service! Top place to eat in Cambridge!
The best Thai restaurant ever. Real authentic taste of Thai food. Food
We went there by seeing these many positive reviews a few weeks ago, I can not tell how much we are disappointed for the food. Traditional Pad Thai was with tons of vinegar. If I had a blocked nose, it would be recovered in a second...never had this version of Pad Thai in my life! I complained, but the chef suggested ordering a different one as he doesnt know how to cook Pad Thai without Vinegar:( deep fried tofu and squid were very greasy, badly battered! I am highly doubt the reviews here. I hope you wont make the same mistake like us. Many better Thai Restaurants in Cambridge, but surely not this !
The one and only best Thai restaurant in UK I couldnt ask for more. The taste is so authentic, very very zaab! I will definitely be back next time for sure Food
The environment is a little basic but the food is very good and there is plenty of choice. Location is pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a vist if you are looking for something different.
I really love this place,we came all the way from London after reading many good review. The tom yum soup with coconut milk is awesome. As a frequent traveler to Thailand,i can say is very authentic to the one i had in Thailand. However i do think my green curry is abit sweet to my liking and the thai ice tea should be less sweet for me. Overall the food is really nice and you feel welcome in this restaurant. The guy who serve us is extremely friendly. Highly recomended to all and we will be back here again if we visit Cambridge again..Thank you for great service!!
Good food. Thanks to the restaurant I remembered the flavors of Thailand.
Really relaxed atmosphere, food was delicious and a good price. Went for a variety of starters and mains and not a below par dish amongst them. Probably the best red Thai curry I ve had. Staff were attentive without being in your face. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely evening!
Fantastic service, staff, and food
Among the dishes we had, thai omelette, thai fried chicken stood out best while pad thai, fried rice, and moo ya (pork on skewers) are not too bad while papaya salad was slightly below expectation. Overall it s well recommended !
The best copy thai food which i ate in Thailand
Spicy beef was a disaster.
I had a red curry and egg fried rice and my Mrs had crispy chicken legs with egg fried rice and dipping sauce I ve had a lot of Thai food but this one takes the cake, the service was amazing and the food was outstanding amazing place to eat and the food is very flavourful would definitely recommend
Had a prawn pad thai and it felt like those I had while traveling in Thailand. Recommended.
nice drinks, yummi food and really friendly staff!
Delicious food at a wonderful location.
Nice atmosphere with good food and service. It would have been better without the pop music they are playing. With a more relaxing/slow music would go better with the atmosphere and the scenery.
Lovely authentic Thai food, the atmosphere is good and I like the location with the view of the fields.
Delicious food especially the sweet and sour chicken and seafood Tom yum soup. Friendly service and appetising atmosphere .
Not bad,not very yummy. Just so so.
We chose Baan Thai for a pre concert meal on the strength of its reviews, we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly, attentive & joyful. Its a family run restaurant and such a great dining experience. If ever in Cambridge again, Baan Thai will be visited.
We went there twice in one week. The service was fast and courteous. The food was very good, we liked it so much that we went back there before we left Cambridge. If you like Thai food, you should try this restaurant.
Friendly staff, the green chicken curry was one of the best ive had. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars were the chicken satay starters - the amount of chicken on the skewers was small and not worth the price.
Came upon this place randomly on google map and by far one of the best Thai restaurant we have been in the UK. 100% authentic Thai food and lovely staffs.
The food is very high quality and authentic Thai flavours. We had crispy tofu, papaya salad, green Thai and Massaman curries. What stood out as outstanding though was the care and attention from staff to make sure that we found some good vegan and gluten free choices. Thanks for all your help and patience!
Great!!!!! I ordered a delicious, spicy and tasty curry. My friend had a pork starter and a mushroom soup and she loved it. Very friendly service. To repeat without hesitation!!!!
Great food at great prices!
Recommended by a local Thai: super friendly and attentive service. The Pad Thai was probably the best ever outside of Thailand
Delicious food! We will be going back until weve tried everything on the menu.
I liked the place and some food. After a bite or two, and after the dips ran out, it seemed to me that it was only the sauce that put everything together.
Apparently, closing time is actually an hour before they are supposed to close. I received no service because of the kitchen being closed an hour earlier than the posted closing times.
This place is very nice! The staffs are also lovely. It s a best Thai food that I have ever tried! You guys should try it!
great food & great service !
Best Thai food in Cambridge! super friendly staff, great service and great ambiance!
If you would like to eat delicious, Thai taste I recommend this place. Great food, low prices, authentic Thai taste, grate service by staff and a lot of menu choices.
Baan Thai is so AMAZING!! Super delicious!!!!!! Haven t seen before, i love this restaurant
Very good family dinner, tasty meals (and enough spicy). We had a very nice evening.
Food is great, people are super nice ! I recommend !
Amazing food, kind, friendly service. One of the best Thai restaurants Ive been to.
Great Thai food slightly off the beaten track, a wide selection of authentic Thai food. With great views, would go again
Their Pad Thai was excellent and I really enjoyed all of their dishes. They have a lovely view. They have friendly service too and I highly recommend it .
Really tasty, fast service, would recommend!
Great food in a lovely setting with fast service. The restaurant is quite small - recommend booking ahead. Gets very busy, but despite this, service is very fast and friendly. The food is really great. Delicious tasting dishes that taste authentic. For the price though, perhaps a little more food would be good - the portions were a little small. Would recommend
Average Thai food. Small portion. The dishes in general are sweet rather than spicy. Not to my liking.
Good quality and low price, good reviews
I checked the menu one year ago so a bit surprised to see the price increasing a lot now around £12 to £20 for main courses. The food is okay, great service though!
Disappointed with the dish I got , Khao Gai Tord Panang but ate it as I don t waste. Well priced though. Lovely location over looking park and nice to just watch the on going activities people engage in. It seems common now this service charge which I don t mind as long as it gets to the staff members.
Had a fabulous dinner there last night. The food was the best Thai in Cambridgeshire. Don t be put off by the decor, ultra friendly staff and exceptional food. Our new favourite for Thai food and we will definitely be returning !
Typical British Thai food with excessive amount of sweetness. The chicken pieces are not fresh at all. Tom Yum does not taste like what it is supposed to be, but is filled with the taste of fish sauce instead. Also the restaurant charges 10% service fee.
They deserve more than 5 stars for both the food and the service! The food is amazing, fresh and well priced and the service is way better than a lot of places in Cambridge. This is my second visit and both times it s been great. Thank you to all the staff that made our dinner something to remember and took care of the Hen by making her feel so special. Highly recommend the seabass with mango salad and the massaman curry!
Went here with a colleague as we both love Thai food. Firstly our waiter was amazing with a funky personality. He gave us great recommendations as I wanted to try something new, I normally always get the Pad Thai. The food was authentic and will definitely be coming back!
yummy, price/quality excellent, lovely staff I ll be back
Friendly family run Thai restaurant overlooking the park in Cambridge. The food was the best authentic Thai meal we have had. The noodles & curry were exceptional! Cannot wait to visit again.
Really good food from here, with good service. Not sure about the 10% that gets added automatically to the bill though. It should be up to the customer to decide.
Really good Food and Price
The food was delicious, flavourful and served incredibly quickly, I ordered a curry dish and the papaya salad. The staff was super nice, the waitress even offered me some milky tea when she saw I was struggling a bit with the spicy salad (delicious nonetheless, just more spicy than what I am used to). I definitely need to come back on my next chance to visit Cambridge.
The general impression of the atmosphere is good, but the food.. The green tea was brought already cold, the tom yum soup is a sour-spicy water in which mushrooms and large shrimps swim. I did not like the food at all. A 10% tip is included in the bill, so you can immediately multiply the menu prices.
Pad thai was sour, but the other one tasted ok, although the portion should be more.
Arguably some of the best Thai food I ve had!! Love that there s so much choice on the menu, and the staff have always been super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!
The best Thai in Cambridge. Delicious authentic food, good portions and such friendly staff, especially Meena and Jake. Ill definitely be back!
Lovely place, night next to the park. Good park view. Food was awesome. Tasty and good portion. Staffs are very friendly. I would recommend this place
Excellent thai place!
Good for casual Thai food. Rice with shrimp paste was interesting. Curries are ok
The food is really good, tasty always, spicy is real.
Best Thai food Ive had in the UK
Service was fast, food was great. I will be going back soon.
Delicious, authentic, very spicy and very fresh
Delicious food and great employees.
