Kan Zaman Restaurant is one of the wonderful places. I recommend it to the family and also to young people. Their service was wonderful. The food was really delicious. I advise you to try it. I took a mixed grill plate from them. The meat was even and very tender, served with rice or potatoes and salad.

The best grill in town

Excellent and authentic Middle Eastern food, and I know that cuisine well. The standard is consistently high, so when you dine here, you can be confident the food will be delicious. I treated my family to dinner and we ordered both the hot and cold sharing mezze starters and some mixed grills. The drinks were very nice too, piña colada and some milk shakes. Attentive and friendly service.

I told the waiter, I am allergy to fruits. Asked if theres any fruits in the dish I ordered. He said no, there definitely arent any fruits. My meal was full of a sticky sauce. I was told by another waiter its cranberry sauce! Allergies can result in death, this is inexcusable. They seemed to not care and smiled like its a joke. Very disrespectful staff, no customer service.

The food at kanzaman is perfect in every way especially baby chicken and hummus no one can compete it. Guy named asad working there helped me in choosing the right dishes for me and my family.

An OK level restaurant, the food was Ok and the amount was good enough. but the Service and atmosphere were not up to the standard. It is a place for a quick stop and for a quick bite. Limited seats were available for Dine In.

There were six of us that had dinner. The food was delicious and the presentation was fabulous. We had the falafel, hummus, moutabal, mixed pickles, and batata Hara for starters. Every single dish was delicious and professionally presented. For the main we all samples the rice, cuscus, chicken shawarma, lamb kofta, lamb kebabs, chicken wings, and shish tawook. Again the presentation was magnificent and every one of the meats was hot and delicious with delicate tastes and wonderful authentic spices. The service was phenomenal, attentive and personal. We felt very taken care of. It was a magnificent experience and definitely a place not to miss in Cambridge.

A little home away from home. The services is wonderful, reminecent of what you get in Damascus. The food was so and so. Some items hit a home run and some not up to par. Still a strong recommendation, just dont order the shawerma .

Felt like we found a hidden gem! This place is really a takeaway shop with a shisha lounge and a few tables for eating in - BUT well worth a visit as the food is incredible and the service is quick, friendly and efficient. Its a casual place so if youre looking for fancy high dining its not going to be your thing but we visited as a family and shared a whole range of absolutely delicious mezze as we wanted to try everything! The waiter made some suggestions for things we really shouldnt miss out and he was right! Prices were fair and the portions were generous, all food was fresh, hot (if it was supposed to be) and beautiful to look at as well as eat! 100% will go back.

The restaurant is located just below our rental. We went there for a discovery. the dishes are very generous, a little dry for our taste. we took a take away box at the end of the meal so as not to waste it. A little too noisy in the room which is very small. but the server is super nice.

Ate here twice. Food was decent to good, very affordable. Friendly staff, quick serving. Toilet smells like cats. Music was very bad (some trashy mainstream pop ripoff) and was the same two nights in a row. Music got jammed like an old record quite a few times. Fatoush was nice, falafelwrap amazing, veggy plate with moussaka was decent, baklava was overpriced. I would say the food is most important and that was good, so would recommend, but they only have a few vegan options.

We order platter for 4 and it was soo good. Everything taste very good. Highly recommended.

The food was fine, not great. The service was bad. First off, my order was somehow forgotten . Then when I spoke to the owner about it he apologised but not without inappropriate behaviour, which included invading my personal space without permission and then flirting with me. This is extremely unprofessional and I will not be returning to this restaurant. Their chicken shawarma was greasy and unappetising. Damas Bridge and Little Petra make more delicious food and are more respectful.

Outstanding baby chicken with 2 different rices and salad .only problem I had was the chilli sauce and mayonnaise they give you in little pots was not enough for the size of the portion but I highly recommend this place

We ordered for iftaar and they brought the food warm just on time for 7 people! The taste was good. The mince meat in k bbeh could have been better but lamb meshwi and lamb shunk were good. The soup was served with crispy bread, it was cool. But the biggest plus is for them to get rid of coca cola and bring another brand which was also delicious - I admire them for making an actual change.

Dietary restrictions: Thank you for your hospitality today weve had our doctors group iftar at Kan Zaman. All Halal meat, very good prices considering the service & high quality of food. Staff are all caring & considerate even with a large group that came a bit late they were able to accommodate all our needs & were very flexible & offered lots of complementary dishes. The meat is magnificent there, especially the Lamb Mashwi (my personal favourite) its very well grilled, soft & tender not difficult on teeth & flavourful. Portions are adequate too so youll never get out hungry. Many of the group had the chicken Mandi as the special of the day, its basically grilled chicken its perfectly grilled & soft like butter with the most amazing rice, but I have to warn anyone whos had Mandi in Saudi Arabia (it is not the same) but still very well cooked so everyone was happy. I dont think Kan Zaman couldve made the day any better for us so thank you so much for hosting us this Ramadan, may Allah feed you from Jannah food you have made our day

Absolutely appalling customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You should never visit this restaurant. They took our order and kept forgetting to bring us anything for over an hour despite at least 4 reminders. What s especially disappointing is they kept serving customers who came in AFTER us with their meals despite one of our party fasting all day. They were informed of this and still ignored us. One customer came in 40 mins after us, was served her starters and she turned away her main meal as it was being served too soon for her yet we were just watching having waited over an hour for anything. This restaurant serves their favourite customers first and new customers last. We had to walk out in the end because after being told to wait a further 5 mins after an hour of waiting, they STILL didn t have our food ready- and it was a relatively simple order. Absolutely despicable- AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Just had our team dinner and I have to say that food is above and beyond :) I usually stay away from chicken (this is just me) but this time l saw how it looks when grilled and guess what, taste is superb! Very good service, very friendly, professional and welcoming staff. Keep the good work up guys!

Brilliant food , good shisha and but small shop

After waiting in line at Noodles Plus next door, I grew impatient and decided to give this place a try. The chicken schwarma sandwich was 10/10; beautifully seasoned, with fresh veg and pickles and plenty garlic sauce. I got a carrot, apple, ginger juice that was fresh and delicious.

Wow. I had to leave this review after tasting their chicken shawarma in a takeaway. Ive been known to drive 150 miles for good chicken shawarma. This is simply one of the best shawarmas Ive ever had regardless of meat used. Ive been to Turkey and Greek and this competes. What made it ever better is it arrived in a tray 2 Inches deep and the size of a dinner plate full of meat and rice. Absolutely superb, Ill be sure to experience an in house dining experience soon

Great place to have a party

Delicious! My husband and I stayed in Cambridge for four weeks and chose to eat and get take out several times. Super flavourful and well cooked dishes. The dining area is small and a bit cramped, which is why I gave it four stars for atmosphere. A good place for a casual meal.

Platter for 2 people cost £34 99. They only gave 1 piece shish kebab, 4 pieces of chicken, 4 pieces mutton, shawarma, and rice and salads. No chops, no wings. This Platter is not enough for 2 people.

The food was fine but I discovered a grub/maggot at the bottom of my rice when I ordered the bamia. The staff did apologise, but were unhelpful when I asked about what the bug might have been and where it came from. The server said how would I know?, which is a big red flag that suggests not all staff are aware of the safe food handling procedure. Realistically, grubs get into produce sometimes, so I can accept this is probably just bad luck rather than due to an infestation. But to not know how the food was handled is concerning. We still paid the bill in full (minus the bamia) as its an independent place and the overall vibe seems nice. Please take this as a sign to brush up on your food safety though (and I pray I dont get sick from eating here!)

Well I thought Id retired from this reviewing lark, but oh my. This is fantastic Lebanese cafe style restaurant. Food is amazing, I love the atmosphere although some may find it a little casual. Service is really friendly, but has been a little absent second half of the meal, so Im typing this waiting to order a coffee. I highly recommend Dietary restrictions: Basic restrictions (veg/vegan/gf) marked on the menu.

So glad we tried this place out. We couldnt dine in due to time constraints but we took chicken taouk wraps with us for our journey back to London. They were delicious, the bread was so soft you could tell it was fresh. Chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The wrap construction itself was great, great addition of sauces not too little which I find is a common issue with chicken taouk wraps. Staff were great! I took a box of mamoul away too! Perfect with tea. My parents are hard to please and they were indeed pleased so will definitely come back whenever I revisit Cambridge.

We came here as a group of 10, called ahead to check to see if we needed to book a table and said yes book ahead of time if there is a few of you going as this place isnt very big. They had the table ready and called ahead of the booking to check to see if we were still coming. We had quite a lot of children with us, and even when they got up from the table the staff were courteous and kind to them. Food arrived promptly, was cooked beautifully and tasted lovely. Thank you so much for making our group and all the children with us feel welcome.
