I visited this place yesterday to meet up with a friend and celebrate Christmas, and we had such a great time! The 2-for-1 cocktails were delicious, and the nachos we shared were the perfect snack. One of the highlights was taking a fun picture in their Photo Booth it added such a nice touch to our evening. The atmosphere of the bar was fantastic, and we both agreed we d definitely come back again!

My partner and I had an amazing experience, it was really busy but our drinks and food came out quickly and our waitress Rosie was so friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was extremely busy however our waitress Rosie made the experience very enjoyable she was very friendly and funny and made our day!! The other staff were very friendly and smiley will definitely be coming back!!

Extremely slow and poor service. Food took almost an hour to arrive when not massively packed and staff not in evidence to inquire about status of order. Veggie burrito unseasoned and not appetising. Shame but would not recommend for the money spent.

Well, the place is cool and you can see the river. They have a robot waitress playing shakira, which was very cool! But, the service was very slow. Food and drinks are overpriced. Chicken fajitas were good. Pink lemonade was awful (like water with sugar and a hint of strawberry). We spent around £30 pounds each WITH student discount applied. I cant imagine the amount without the discount.

Absolutely awful - Tip - If you visit Cambridge do not go here! We had a great day in Cambridge. Did Punting down the River Camb, found a lovely Pub and had a nice meal at Prezzos. We were robbed of £27 for 2 Mojitos in this establishment. The guy did not even know how to make a Mojito. Served in flimsy plastic cups. We compained and we were promtly barred - Thank you. Had an amazing experience at Las Iguanas thanks to Skye and her manager! Skye was super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The manager was not only incredibly professional but also easy on the eyes . Great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere will definitely be back!

I LOVE Las Iguanas. Every time I ve been here (3 now, and to be many more) the exemplary service is paired with delectable dishes. The atmosphere is bubbly and informal, great for a laugh or a catch up, and really picks up in the evenings when the cocktails are in flow. Portion sizes are great, and nothing is spared on the flavourful dishes. Highlight of all? The service. Each and every staff member are brilliant, smiley, helpful, and always there to make your experience. I will be coming back, again and again!! Thanks again Franco, brilliant service and a great charisma.

Empty at lunch time, service pretty poor, just slow, staff not really sure what theyre doing, toilets were terrible, no lock on my cubicle, didnt look like theyd been cleaned since last night as the bin was full at 12.30 and they had only been open a short while. Had no lemonade apparently, yet serve all manner of spirits, so who knows what youll have if you dont like coke.

This is a really nice spot, and was fairly quiet. Arrived around 8pm on a Saturday. Food was delicious. We ordered the Taco Sharing board x2 to share between 6 of us as a finger type food. The beef was fabulous , probably should have ordered 3. Of course you cannot go to Las Iguanas without cocktails or cocktails, and they did not disappoint. We had a fabulous time. The waiter was lovely, funny. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend whether it be a date night or a night out with the girls. There is an outside bit where smokers can smoke, with tables aswell.

Pros: - nice atmosphere - good location - got seated with 11 people in the bar area (not the restaurant) on a Saturday without booking Cons: - slow service behind bar - there were a lot of staff around the bar/kitchen area but only 1 serving the bar area so it took ages to order - the bar staff didnt know what a mocha was and said they didnt do them. I later realised they did but had to wait again for another staff member to serve me (again, despite lots of staff being behind the bar area). It took ages to make and there was no apology. - one of the nachos that we ordered didnt arrive. I spoke to the barman and he just told me all the food had come out. When I explained again that it had not, he just looked at me blankly and said hmm its confusing. After then speaking to the manager, he checked and did go over to the kitchen and told me they were on the way. They did finally arrive after the rest of the table had eaten but no apology! Not impressed with the service at all. Overall very frustrating and I spent half the time at the bar trying to sort out drink then food!

On a busy Saturday, we pre booked our table. The food and drinks arrived within minutes. We were told there were 2 staff members who called in sick or didn t turn up. And a few had left the restaurant last week. The young staff serving us and the neighbouring section looked overworked but were incredible, stoic and held the fort. We wanted to give them a hug !! The food is exquisite, nightclub-like atmosphere and the location is excellent.

Really recommend a bottomless brunch here, especially with Asha who was amazing. Very friendly and attentive will come again!

Went on a Sunday lunchtime. Wasn t overly busy. Food was good but there was a delay with our order as it got mislaid. They had also run out of straws which made drinking the mojitos a little difficult. We were kept informed about the delay and the lack of straws was explained. Would go again.

We went for my friends 21st birthday, we had a brunch. The food was amazing although small portions, i had a jackfruit curry only 2 small pieces of jackfruit. The service was not great, every time you got the waiters attention they would ignore you, so hard to get your moneys worth if you get the brunch. The place was empty but only one guy behind the whole bar. Would not recommend id rather go to turtle bay to get my moneys worth for a bottomless brunch.

The food is great and the place in Cambridge is always packed. The service can get a bit slow but that is, I am assuming, down to the place being packed. Another great thins is the 2 for 1 cocktail offers.

Ordered a loaded chicken with bacon and special sauce for £17.00 with straight fries and rice.when it arrived I noticed the chicken breast was half a chicken breast so they had a breast and cut it down the middle and gave me half of it put the bacon on top and loaded it with sauce.felt like a starter.never again oh and 14 quid for a pint of cider and two cokes.as I said never again.

Had a pleasant experience at this Mexican restaurant. The waiter provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. However, I feel that the prices are a bit high for the quality and taste around 20% cheaper would be more reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience, but slightly overpriced.

Went for bottomless brunch 03/08/24 party of 4. Service was terribly slow, usually bottomless brunch service is super quick with drink refills but we got 3 drinks in the space of an hour an a half. They attempted to make up for this with 4 jugs of cocktails which were based on our previous order of cocktails of which we cancelled as 2 of those tasted like paint stripper. Food is OK, don t expect to be full as they are not carb heavy (unless you order £2-4 sides ie. Chips. (Burger does not come with chips for example) Waited 45 minutes for prosecco glasses after being served a bottle, told they d be with us in 10 mins due to a shortage in glasses (understanable). But then being offered half pint glasses which were disgustingly dirty - see photo. Just constantly had to chase for drinks overall a frustrating experience.

Went there on a Saturday and was quite disappointed with the classic margarita they served me. Firstly, they served it in the wrong glass, secondly they forgot to add any ice, thirdly they didnt add any salt to the glass, and finally most important of all they put half measures in two separate glasses. The offer was two for one, but I well know that I only got one cocktail. When I asked the staff they said they ran out of the cocktail glasses, ran out of salt and forgot the ice. Most pathetic.

The menu has now changed and not much variety, plus the portions are small for the price. Las Iguanas has severely gone downhill and actually was one of my favourite restaurants but now its poor and worst is that the service charge is optional but it actually mandatory as they immediately charge you compulsory service charge. I believe the restaurant does not understand the meaning of optional

Toilets are a long walk round the back of the building and are disgusting - the cubicles didnt have locks bar one and that one didnt have toilet paper. All of them were beyond filthy with trash covering the floor. Also waited ages for one drink to be served.

Our waitress for the night was absolutely amazing. It was her only 2nd or 3rd day but we just didn t feel like it at all. Very professional and friendly. Also, present manager at the time was very helpful as well. Amazing team!

The food was really nice and I always love the presentation of Iguanas! The service was good, very fast to order and receive the food. Drinks were amazing as well. My only complaint is about the music inside that it was too loud so we couldn t talk. Not a problem if it is sunset and party time, but it was at 1pm. Kid-friendliness: They made sure to accommodate our baby and had changing room.

Nice interior and background big selection of drinks but this is somewhere I would not recommend The toilets are extremely dirty and out of the 4 cubicles they were 3 cubicles that were either to deity for use or the doors were broken. Also the glasses and plates are dirty. An example of this is in the photos attached.

Restaurant only 1/3rd full Wed. evening - service terrible - two hours for two courses; missed the chance to go punting - and they wanted a 10% service charge. Amazing.

Got automatically charged a 10% optional service fee that was listed as part of the total. Not sure if it was added because I am American. Overall okay place. Was out of the first two mains we asked for. The 2-for-one on all cocktails is nice if you re with someone who wants the same drink. Mixed drink price is about 50% higher than other places but you get 2 nice cocktails, so it may be a good value for you.

About what youd expect of Mexican food in the UK, although it was still decent enough. Cocktails were yummy too. The location is definitely the best part, I loved sitting at the table by the water! I can only imagine how wonderful it is to sit there on a nice day. That alone made me almost want to go back!

Good location, good service, toilets are miles away up 5 flights of stairs so be mindful if you have access issues.

AVOID!! Bathrooms are disgraceful, not well looked after at all!!. Waited a very long time for our food to arrive and it was a total disappointment, it tasted like primary school food and nothing tasted fresh, like microwaved food, definitely not worth your money, so avoid.

If youre looking for a place with great Latin music, delicious drinks and beautiful views next to the river in Cambridge this place is the perfect spot. Their cocktail selection, including mojitos, margaritas and martinis, is impressive and perfectly prepared. We visited on a Saturday during a Latin event with a Latinoamerican DJ playing amazing Latin music; bachata, merengue, salsa, and reggaeton, that kept us dancing all night long. The atmosphere was very welcoming, making it ideal for an unforgettable night. Definitely worth a visit!

Not been for ages because they did this last time. Would have complained but it was a friends birthday and didnt want to ruin it. The 6 of us who were drinking them said exactly the same. Never going back. Shame because our waiter was really good and friendly.

This isnt like the Las Iguanas I know and love. Previous franchises Ive been too in other cities are of a much nicer quality. The Cambridge one was so loud, you had no chance to hear each other while chatting. The decor is also very outdated and is quite dark and dingy. Even though we ordered from the app it took 20 minutes for our 4 drinks to arrive at the table. My friends ordered the Mojito and they said it had so much ice they couldnt taste any alcohol in it. When my cocktail arrived they apologised as they ran out of the proper glasses so the cocktail was in a small glass, no ice - the taste also wasnt great - for £13 a drink its an easy pass for this place. Im sure there are much better places to get a drink in town!

Never visiting again. Was there celebrating my birthday with a friend and we were not happy at all! I ordered the Loaded chicken and the chicken was really tough and chewy, the Mexican rice was flavourless and cold as ice. We also ordered the caruran curry and it was below average- my friend couldn t even finish her meal We had 2 cocktails as well both of which barely tasted like they had any alcohol! It took ages to get a cheque because there was such few staff.. We only visited to try something different and looking at the reviews, the place seemed great but for a birthday meal like that and worth £53, we were extremely disappointed!

Food was very average, chicken dry and tastes. We got cocktails and such a disappointment again, paid 13.80 for a juice with no alcohol taste. Service was okay tho

Very rude and unpolite staff

Food was great, would recommend bottomless brunch!! Jake was great.

Lovely staff. Good food. We enjoyed it following Evensong at Pembroke College.
