exceptthe black girl with coloured and rimmed hair... everyone is very polite and good in nature .her attitude is very bad towards delivery drivers.. she doesnt see the order or tell the person whether its ready or not and she just says wait outside without checking the order.. please make sure to change her attitude or replace her..

This is the second time I have visited this place since I had bad experience from their staff last time. I only visited this Nandos because this is the closest Nando’s for me and I love Nando’s food. I have visited this place on 02/08/24 around 9:30pm. As far as I remember going to a lot of Nandos we enter the restaurant and wait at the door for one of the customer assistants to come and speak to you and offer you the table. Both of my visits I just waited there hoping someone would acknowledge and offer us a table that never happened. The staff just ignores to give any eye contact and walks right in front of us do not care about the customers or ask them if they are alright. After staring at the staff for a while I have asked one of the staff who ignored us for a couple of times to offer us a table and then she did. If it was a busy night I would expect and understand the staff must be busy but that was a quiet night and expecting this kind of service is disappointing. It took a while for the food to arrive too. Customer service is a let down. I will probably end up going there again because as I mentioned earlier this is the closest Nando’s to me and I love their food but if I had an option of another Nandos I wouldn’t go back to this branch after having two bad experiences in my last two visits. I hope this review reaches you well and work on improving the service. Absolutely can't praise Nandos enough. The chicken is incredibly tender and the plethora of lovely peri peri sauces makes this a must visit whenever in the UK. This location in particular has a lovely, homely ambiance.
I dined here on my own as away from work. Venue is decent and well presented. You have to pay for parking it’s a £1 for an hour. The team leader/ manager really needs to speak with the staff about their appearance and bearing as the staff are in very scruffy cargo pants and jeans, itching their hair and hanging over the olives and cakes which wait on the counter for far too long. Food- so much oil in the olives dish, garlic bread felt stale and chicken portions were the smallest I’ve experienced. Monica- doing her best to keep a nice venue clean and presentable, a hard worker it appears but with the unenthused staff she’s got a job on her hands Goncalo- unbelievable customer service skills and drinking his drink when interacting with customers, acting unprofessional and tired of his job. Really not Great. Would not revisit.
Delicious fresh cooked chicken with various sauces and spice levels to choose from. Chicken and sides are cooked with the right amount of flavors. They have bottomless peach tea option.

except a girl who is (black) nigeria evrything is perfect . the problem is with her that she doesnt listens to any of the riders and just simply says wait outside when collecting delivero orders.. the reason a delivery rider comes in is because no one responds for a bell then comes inside after waiting for a while... even when the order is not ready she prepares other drivers order and after wasting some time she tells me 5 minutes ... i dont understand she is an employee and behaves like she owns nandos.. treat everything with smile and kind.. not in a disgusting manner...lot of times she tested my patience... please take charge on her.. thanks .

The black Nigerian lady behavior is harsh and rude towards the delivery riders, many riders facing this issue please look into it and sort this out.

Came earlier today with my partner and he was sick on the way home from the meal and has been sick multiple times since, think he has gotten food poisoning as he felt well prior.

They laughed at me for ordering my order wrong by mistake. It was my first time and I didnt know how to do it, and it wasnt my language. They laughed at me, I didnt like that.
The staff here are either careless, incompetent, or both. It s by far the worst Nando s experience I ve ever had. They forgot the Perinase and Pastel De Natas that I paid for, they didn t provide the drizzle that comes with the houmous, and considering it was a delivery they didn t even provide any cutlery, tissues or sauces. Ended up being the driest Nando s I ve ever thrown away and had to eat the rice with my fingers in a hotel room.
Working in hospitality is never easy, especially not 9 pm on a Sunday night. Despite looking exhausted, the team here was attentive and polite. Was a great visit to Nandos
My only Nando s place in UK. The staff here, especially the manager was super nice and attentive. The store was showing greatest respect to every customers and delivering the best customer service even at the last minute before the store is closing

This used to be (2 years ago) one of the better Nandos I have visited, however after visiting today (July 2024) it has deteriorated significantly from a 5 to 2 review. Slow service, we waited 30 minutes for our food and it was not very busy at most only 50% full, the food was Luke warm and the whole restaurant was in need of a major overhaul and as for the state of the toilets... I will not be returning.

Tue customer service was superb, JOY as extremely helpful and friendly. We truly felt cared for and had an experience that we never felt in other chains. We believe she deserves a raise for all of the hard work she does.
Its nandos, what do you expect other than delicious chicken? Met and exceeded my standards for a good nandos establishment and thoroughly enjoyed every ounce of my meal. A really nice area and atmosphere in the restaurant as well
bad service, upon entering the manager appeared to be agruing with delivery drivers, had to wait to be seated and when I went to order I seemed invisible, after a while a staff member reluctantly took my order with no interest, the staff were slow and all seemed like they didnt want to be there except to chat with each other. our food waited ready to be served for 5 minutes so was cold when we received it. The food itself was really good, its a shame the front of house staff werent on par with the kitchen team! The toilets were disgusting

If youre after tiny portions of cremated chicken that tastes like burnt rubber, this is the place for you. Not enough sauce bottles even when the place is not full (waitress told us to go ask other diners to borrow their sauce). Seriously, never again.
We arrived on a Saturday night at 5:30pm and had to wait to be seated, despite our table being ready (they didnt want the kitchen to be overwhelmed). No cutlery was available. No water glasses were available. The ice maker was broken. The Nandos app refused to let me pay, so I had to queue at the till. Multiple deliveroo drivers were hanging around this area and made it very crowded. The food was fine although took a little longer than the town centre Nandos (due to the number of deliveroo orders?). The waitress seemed bored. I really felt that the seated customers were a nuisance in what is essentially a kitchen run for online orders. Kid-friendliness: My children always enjoy the food and unlimited drinks.
We as a family are big Nandos FANS . But This NANDOS outlet at the cambridge leisure park was the worst experience ever. Food was late Staff was horrible Place was dirty Service was terrible Wont be going there ever again .
There wasnt many people inside but we had been waiting for around half am hour hour still no sign of when the food is coming. Ive also just heard the table behind us saying that one of there meals didnt come so they have to wait another 5 to 10 minutes.

Mistakes will always be made. Whats important is how you put things right. On a family takeaway order of £73, we got home and sat down to eat, then discovered my own main was missing! Everyone had dinner but me. The manager apologized and promptly refunded the main course, but not the two sides, as if I would ever order the two sides without the main! Rubbish management.
We re sent away and told that it will take 55 minutes until a table is free. When we came back we were told again that it will take 45 mins. Only then we were told that there is a waiting list not good service.
Came here at midday. Not many customers but food was prepared very nicely poorly. Chips were soggy and chicken dry and overdone. Not the quality expected of nandos.
Walked in/ walked back out, when the menu is stuck together and chicken bits (big chicken bits) are on the floor its time to eat elsewhere

Visited today with 5 work colleagues, as an experiment to see what level of customer service nandos provides, and how it makes you feel as a paying customer, to help improve our own customer service & NPS. We stood waiting as we walked in, no one welcomed us straight away or smiled - no one told us they will be with us shortly. Once we were seen we got took to a table, and then given menus to go up and order. The interaction at the till was sub standard, the food was delivered within 5 minutes, but the waiters just quietly said what the food was and then chucked it on the table. We all really enjoyed our meal, the food was delicious and great value. Once we finished our meals, we left & received no thankyou or goodbye. Overall this helped me personally see how not to treat customers. A friendly welcome makes customers feel welcome, and a farewell makes you feel valued. If i was to score the store fairly on NPS it would be a 4-5 out of 10.
Im not in the habit of leaving one stars reviews, but I really dont have a choice this time. The family ordered their meals, all of which arrived on time apart from mine. At first, there was no record of my order. Subsequently, it was found on a counter waiting having being mislayed. The manger/lead was very apologetic and said said a new batch would be prepared. Took no more than 5 mins... tasted OK.. not as nice as normal... I assume this was because it was made quickly... Next 2 days spent in bed with stomach issues and headaches... I still feel nauseous.

The matter is complicated. You want to scan a code, enter your order, and enter the table number, and yet there is a delay in submitting the order.
Amazing service, amazing food! The waiting time was a bit long, 40 min but they were crazy busy that night so understandable. The food was amazing, i decided to bring my mum and was her first time in nandos, she now became addicted to it! ( the guy at the door was very nice, i am sorry i didnt catch his name!)
We ordered for delivery and one of our sides was missing, and the halloumi in the wrap was also missing. They werent helpful when we told them, and they werent willing to redeliver the missing items. Further to the above experience 2 years ago, we just now ordered via Deliveroo from this restaurant and one of our sides (coleslaw) was missing. The resolution? They gave us back 80p credit... That doesnt really make up for the missing item, especially as a side costs way more than that when you order it!
Pretty scrumptious ngl, food took an eternity to arrive compared to everyone else but when it did come it was worth the wait , scrumptious chips, love the seasoning , burger was a bit tricky to consume so I had to deconstruct it , but overall the flavour and texture was there making for a good burger, corn also good , they provided the butter , very good from the lads behind the scenes. Had a good time here today and I m glad I came. Ps my friend put Fanta all on the floor sorry guys.
The food and the background are nice, but using and app to pay without any contact with the staff is not what I look for when I go to eat somewhere. It is not difficult to order, but the experience is artificial. By the way, I wonder how old people manage to order. I guess they may get help to do so.

The inside of the restaurant had a terrible small like unclean cutlery and there was a lot of food and grime in the floor so decided to sit outside. There was a lot of litter outside. I then asked for some vinegar and was given a bottle that when looking at it closer had flies inside the bottle and slime. It was given back to the waiter and I advised that they get rid of the bottle as it was disgusting. I will never go to this venue again. The we waiting staff were fine but the grimyness of the restaurant, the smell inside and the disgusting contents of the vinegar bottle should be sorted out asap or environmental health should be called to investigate.

On a recent Friday evening, I had a regrettable experience at Nandos, specifically the Cambridge Leisure Park store. I had decided to place a takeaway order, but what transpired during my visit left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I arrived at the Cambridge Leisure Park Nandos location and placed a takeaway order. The estimated wait time was stated to be up to 20 minutes. I returned to the store after 25 minutes and patiently waited near the tills, understanding that it might be busy due to the Friday rush. Unfortunately, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed and busy. While waiting for my order, I approached the person who had taken my order for an update on its status. The staff member responded in a rude manner, displaying disrespectful body language. He curtly stated that he didnt know how long it would take and conveyed his irritation. Feeling taken aback by the rudeness of the staff member, I chose to exit the store, as I did not appreciate the unprofessional treatment. Outside the store, I discussed my experience with a friend who was waiting for me. To my astonishment, the staff member who had been disrespectful to me noticed us and came out. He made an unnecessary and confrontational comment, insinuating that I was a threat and even threatened to involve the manager with the intent to have us removed from the premises. My visit to Nandos Cambridge Leisure Park was marred by the discourteous and unprofessional behaviour of an unidentified staff member. This unpleasant encounter left me deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of customer service at this particular location. I strongly urge potential patrons to consider their options before visiting this Nandos outlet, as my experience suggests that there may be concerns regarding the behaviour and professionalism of some employees. It is essential for businesses to ensure that their staff members uphold a respectful and courteous attitude towards customers, even during busy periods, to maintain the reputation and quality of service expected from establishments like Nandos.

Mixed review as I have no complaints regarding the food but the service and staff left a lot to be desired. I know as a sixty year old couple we are perhaps not the usual customer profile and I am disabled. We were shown our table when we got to the restaurant and then I believe we became invisible. No help or explanation as to how we should proceed with the process just dumped at the table with a menu. After about 10 minutes we asked other customers what we had to do i think without them we would have just left. As I said such a shame as the food was really good but the service totally rubbish.
As always, great speedy service/food served. Went with the fully vegan options and was pleasantly surprised. Flavours were indentical (which i guess is to be expected) and texture wasnt far off at all! Definitely a good option if youre trying to cut down meat and dairy...

A spacious and pleasant place. The delicious dish I ate. Its not in the center, but you can get there with bus 7. Its next to a new arcade and a spectacular bowling alley, and there are also several movie theaters on the floor.

Good to know: you have to order via mobile phone or directly at the cash register, where you also have to get a drink (some drinks have a refill). You have to set the table yourself. Good food, not plentiful. Little variety of desserts. Courteous staff.
Horrible customer service I placed an order (#c324a5) with Nando s at 1:45 pm with an estimated delivery time of 2:15. My husband and I just tested positive for COVID and are trying to be responsible, thus left specific instructions to drop the food off with the hotel front desk so they could drop it off at our room. At 2:26 the Deliveroo driver, Abdul, called and said he was outside. I reiterated the drop off instructions and he said he understood. Seven minutes later the food had not been brought up, so we called the front desk who said no food had been brought for us. Calling Abdul back rendered no results. My husband and I tagged teamed Nando s and the front desk by phone, only to find at 2:50 that Abdul had left our food on the sidewalk for nearly 30 minutes. A manager at Nando s customer service center said that they would not offer a full or partial refund because the food was marked as delivered. We called Deliveroo thereafter and they said that there was nothing they could do either as Nando s would be the only party able to issue a refund. I m not sure if this is standard practice, but this lack of customer service and recompense for damages is abhorrent. I d like to rate the food fairly, but in this instance it was left to get cold then reheated in 27 degree heat (81 F) and was rubbery, wet, limp and lacking flavor. Disgusting. Needless to say we won t be doing any additional business with either of these vendors as they feel this is an acceptable way to treat paying customers.

Noticed that there was a security guard outside. Why does Nando s need security? In case someone tries to run away with their chicken? Regardless, the overall level of fitness of this guard seemed to suggest that he won t be running very far or for very long.

Its a shame that Google Map doesnt allow its users to rate zero star. It took them, 25 minutes, to make one single burger. And the burger buns were horribly dry, hard, and stiff. While other customers who came later than me all got their foods. I am a tourist who just want to have a quick lunch, now they have ruined the whole plan of my day successfully. Bravo. This is definitely the worst Nandos I have ever been to.
We take the kids here reasonably often but dont go when its hot! The Aircon couldnt keep up, the ice machine wasnt working because it was too hot inside etc. They could easily fix this (the other restaurants in the row have external shading) but either Nandos equivalent is broken or they just hadnt put it out. Well go elsewhere when the suns shining and its afternoon/ early evening.

Nice welcome at the door, promptly seated and walked through the app and how to order. The app was very easy to use and seemed very hassle free. However, it took 15 minutes before we even received cups for our drinks... It took myself to go up and ask for them. This is the reason for the 4 star. The food was delicious and honestly had me full after only half. Nice atmosphere, great place to go for a casual meal. Would give it 5 but the delay on the drinks takes it away for me. Very well run resturant, will 100%recommend.

I tried to eat here, but wasnt able to order. I arrived, was seated, and was shortly thereafter reseated to accommodate another group arriving. Visiting from abroad, I wasnt going to use the online interface since Im (1) not sure if I can pay through it with my card, and (2) it required me to create an account to complete my order, which includes sharing contact information which Im not interested in. I was paid no attention by staff, and decided to cut my losses after 25 minutes of being ignored. As such, I wasnt even able to order - which was a shame, as I was interested in trying the spicier versions of chicken.
Absolutely disgusted with Nandos! Ordered food which never arrived, it stated on their tracking that the order had been delivered. We called Deliveroo who said theyd give us a refund and that was all they could do for us, but that wasnt the point, we still needed to eat. As no one was picking up the phone when we tried to call Nandos a few times, we went there personally but they said they could not do anything except that if we wanted we could order more food from them. No idea where our order went! they did not seem very bothered about the fact that the order which I had paid for was delivered to someone else. I am very surprised that the courier they use, Deliveroo, dont check that they deliver the order to the paying customer. I will never order, or ever eat at, the Cambridge Nandos in the future. And also am put off ordering any food which will be delivered by Deliveroo. Looking at other reviews, it seems I am not the only one who has had problems with deliveries on orders. One more disappointment I would to mention is that the person I spoke to when I called Deliveroo who processed the refund, told me that I will receive my refund within 72 hours, but the confirmation email I received for the refund stated that it will take 5-10 days. I think this is terrible! I am very surprised too that Nandos did not want to take any responsibilities at all for home deliveries, whether paying customers received their food or not!

This Nandos is the best town! The food and the service is amazing. I stopped going here as the beehive nandos was more convenient. I wish I didnt. I always say it as it is and I will try to go to the leisure centre Nandos in the future!
Food was just awfull it was like eating raw food without the feathers I asked for mediem spice I got chicken that had no flavour it was so bland that it was blandness I have been to other nados and the chicken was to die for but this was taking the mick. I love spice but there was none not even a grain of salt I will not be going back to this nandos or will I recommend it to anyone this nandos has let the fleet down down down.

Decided to play it safe with a medium spice in a burger with spiced chips too. Highly recommended if you fancy a spice that wont leave you reaching for a drink, but a pleasant warmth. Chips were top notch. The service was really friendly and all the team seemed to contribute well to the atmosphere of the place. For my first Nandos experience in some years, it was a wonderful one.

Perhaps the time and day were against them (teatime Saturday), but I did not feel the cleanliness of the place was up to Nandos normal standard. The food was good, but I thought the staff could have done a lot better. I felt rushed and it was not my usual experience of the chain. This restaurant needs to buck up their ideas. I for one will not be back there in a hurry.

We booked a table for 8 for last night about 10 days ago. We arrived and they had no booking for us, luckily there was a tight squeeze table available. We placed our orders via the QR option, although not all the sides that were on the paper Menu were on the QR, placed order, 10 mins later realised I hadn t ordered Peri peri mayo. Went to counter, 4 people in queue, waited and waited while 2nd till point was not being used. Asked for someone to use the sencond till point only to be told no. In the mean time my food arrived at the table, I am still in the queue. Eventually get back to table with mayo, food warm not hot now, burger bun was stale and tough. The chicken was dry and hard. Went to get bottomless coke only to find half the drinks were not working. Overall a very disappointing visit.
Used to be a good place. But now I only get bad service, burnt chicken and an unprofessional (and sometimes arrogant) manager! Not to forget, they always offer a tables close to one of the two entrances which blows cold air everytime someone enters or exits!!
Its a good nandos what more do you need to know... lovely spicy double chicken! Also lovely spicy chickpea burger. Alway have to get chips and coleslaw!
We had the chicken in pitta bread. One with the lemon sauce and the other medium hot piri. A side of coleslaw. It was a really good lunch. Top marks. Great service.

You just cant beat a cheeky nandos. Great chicken great sides. What more can one add that hasnt already been said.
Visited as part of a large group that had people ordering both through the app and at the till. Service was great and quality of the food was amazing as would normally be expected. Also, crucial at this time of year it was nice and warm in the restaurant. Very comfortable eating atmosphere. Will look forward to eating here again.
Food was awful the wrap made me feel like I should of just gone to get a meal deal. Decided Im never going to Nandos again after two really bad food experiences. Food was black.
Very bad Burnt wings, food arrived quick but the many wings that made up part of the meal were all burnt and was sickening. paid good money to eat here, could ve went elsewhere where it would ve been tastier and cooked to perfection but chose this place for convenience but was disappointed!!! Ordered grilled chicken that was mostly ok but the wings were completely burnt all 15-20 of them that were ordered. Very disappointed!!!
