Really good place to stop after whole day of sightseeing. I have been in many Nando s but this one is special as food came in a minutes, staff was welcoming and place was clean. Great service from Niki as he was super friendly with kids.

Successful and delicious, staff is helpful

I attended nandos Cambridge on Friday 20th September at 7pm. We had a show at the corn exchange at 8pm so thought wed have a quick bite to eat. Made the order at 7.02. we had nothing come 7.25 so feeling a bit anxious I asked one of the waiters who said it was coming. In this time Id heard from the table behind there was no avocado in the restaurant which affected us as my partner had ordered a wrap which contained avocado. At 7.30 a waiter came to our table and said they had run out of half a chicken! And would I want something else. I asked for their quickest item which was the chicken thighs. At 7.45 our food came, the waiter declared that there was avocado in the wrap....there wasnt and when called back got stroppy with my wife which was incredibly rude. Eventually a person who I believe was the manager came over and said we would receive a gift voucher for the car crash of a nandos experience we had, I am yet to hear anything. Avoid this nandos, easily the worse one, I dont know who is in charge of this place but their standards are shocking l. I had to eat my food quickly which led to me not enjoying my show, ruined my evening

The food is scarce, there is only one dish in all that is worth it. They take advantage of tourists. Spaniards, dont come. A real scam. The letter is very very confusing. We had to take a tangerine out of our bag to be able to eat something decent.

I cant believe Im eating chicken seasoned in the Portuguese style (Mozambique, to be exact), which is headquartered in South Africa, in the UK. Even if I write just one line, it feels dizzying, but I think we really live in a global world. In conclusion, it is still a place to enjoy at a reasonable cost in such an expensive country in England. We ordered 4 pieces of thigh meat as a side. I ordered mild and hot sauces, and both were not that spicy. Its called piri piri sauce, but its not spicy enough for Koreans. The sweet taste is not as much as expected, but the savory flavor is surprisingly good. In particular, you can add as much hot sauce as you want, and the herbs were really good. However, perhaps because Koreas chicken culture has developed so much, it doesnt end with I liked it and I want to go again.

Placed an order and waited for an hour! Waiter had a bad attitude and instead of apologizing she offered me a full chicken which was of no use to me. I have thrown half of it in the dustbin!

The restaurant needs no introduction. It is good that it does not serve pork and its derivatives. The taste is great and the price is excellent compared to the quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been going to this Nandos for years and decided to go with my family on Saturday. I was disappointed with the food and service on this visit .The food was cold and the service was poor, noone came and asked if everything is alright and took our chicken stick with table number on this is the first time this has happened. Also I noticed the restaurant is getting tired (tape on the chairs to obviously cover splits )

Not having a good experience. I could not get the table I wanted although the place was not full. Ordering was easy but took ages for someone to come to us. Food was little, dry and not really tasty. Overpriced I would say. Much better food at market place.

Terrible first impression. We walked in and got told someone would be with us. We waited and other people walked in, the guy blanked us completely and served the others, plates everywhere, glad we didn t eat here as the customer service within the first 3 minutes of even entering was embarrassing

Worst Nando s restaurant I have ever eaten. Today I ordered 35 chicken wings. The chicken wings are burned and very very dry. I know they cooked them again and again or maybe they were leftover yesterday. Paid more than £70 but very disappointed. Avoid it.

This is by far the best Nandos I have been. Hyper friendly stuff and great food!

Need to clean this place, not smell good at all. A lot dirty throughout the restaurant floor specifically on the way to the toilet. I clearly realised that higiene is not priority at this branch!!!

Amazing customer service by the staff

Couldnt get more simple. Wanna have chicken, go to Nandos! The central branch is always consistent with its food quality, while in other branches havent had that much of a luck. Get the app and enjoy the fribies!

No halal options

Had Nando s here a couple of weeks ago and I must admit this was the best Nando s we have been too in terms of food. Had the half chicken with garlic bread and rice and was really tasty! When we come back to Cambridge we will most definitely come back to this Nando s.

all good - food, speed, this time even the room temperature was normal (unlike during my three visits last year when we had to wear jackets). Hopefully, itll stay that way! ...or itll get even better (maybe by lowering the music volume slightly)

Nothing special, I took chicken wings, they were not great, not terrible. Sides were okayish,maybe too much mayo. To add, I was waiting too long until someone told me how to order, didn t know about the app thing, anyway, middle quality

Cozy space, good music, delicious food. Chicken meat is not crumbly. Delicious fresh salad. However, the delivery time is too long, even though the restaurant is not very crowded.

for a friday night the restaurant was not too busy at all, we managed to walk in and get a lovely table at the back of the restaurant. food was delicious (good veggie and vegan options) and service was great, shoutout to taylor and alex!

Standard Nandos experience for a family dinner. Nice food, speedy service, no nonsense. Tried the new charasco marinade, I was not disappointed! Love the rainbow slaw and mixed grains too Kid-friendliness: Very speedy service, perfect when you have young kids!

The bottomless frozen yogurt machine froze .. the fries were sort of too salty (I got the fully loaded ones) the starter wasn t very big, and I didn t like the cheesecake . But the froyo machine got fixed after the manager worked on it . And the main dish took extra long to come out, I thought they had forgotten about it .

Service on the day I went was a bit slow. Just seemed like the focus was on take away delivery service providers and not the in house customers.

I would give no stars if i could. We got turned away at the door with no sufficient reason, by a rude lady with an attitude. We came with a gift card and was promised a lovely meal if we returned, because we had previously faced rude and bad treatment at another branch. Nandos has gone down incredibly and this is an embarrassment, after the second attempt at eating at this establishment you can be certain that we won t return! disgusting customer service! do better!

We had to wait 45 minutes for our order at a not-so-busy time. The staff seemed underqualified; many people had to wait to be seated even though there were available tables. The chicken tasted well but was overcooked and dry. The quality at this restaurant seems to have deteriorated over the years. I would not recommend coming here.

A very excellent restaurant with sweet memories, and the staff is very kind. 15 years ago, there was a very nice French female employee What distinguishes the restaurant is its calmness and location You feel deep in the history of the country

Its a standard Nandos really... Toilets were up a flight of stairs and didnt feel the cleanest. Food was all ordered via mobile and came reasonably speedily. Overall reasonable value, and it suited is at the time though I wouldnt particularly choose it for a romantic dinner!

i love Nandos , im writing this as i just finished my food and it was wonderful, the meal was just about 32 pounds for two and it was cooked well and the spices were a chefs kiss.

Pretty standard nandos. Friendly staff, quick service and food that youd expect. Was extremely cold, think they had the air con on despite it being baltic outside.

5 people(3 adults and 2 kids 9 and 6 year old) went into the restaurant we were given 4 seat table and asked to adjust and we requested if we can have an additional seat as there was space either side but one staff( without inform) was so rude the way he spoke and wasn t polite at all he neither offered additional seat nor gave us the alternate seat. After he left the customer next to us felt bad the way he spoke and offered a chair from their table as they were not using and they said they won t use one side to walk out instead they use other side but we didn t take it as this person was so rude and loud. While the food was served and we had started eating he came and said they have another place and if we want to move, as we were in the middle of the meal we said no. Later after the meal when 2 kids were having their dessert lolly from Nando s and I just had a bite of Chelsea bun which we got from a bakery next door. He came back again making a big fuss about nuts in my Chelsea bun which contained none nuts, he started saying other customers will have allergies so and so but he keeps and sale nuts for customers in the same roof which doesn t make any sense.

Ordered a take-away after a long and exhausting day. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by hand writing warm and cheering greetings on the food package. The chicken wings were absolutely delicious and its a perfect end to a tough day.

My sweetcorn was burned. For the price we pay the minimum you could do is cook it properly and if burned replace it. Dont send us burned food. The chicken was delicious and we got sauces and butter for the corn and sticks.

First time since lock down, went for a pre-theatre chicken fix! The food was lovely and just as remembered. Deducted one star as some of the furniture (seating) looking tired and stained. Vegetarian options: Wife loves the mushroom and halloumi pitta, good to see it back on the menu.

They assigned small table so I oder the food that fit the table. What I have found is over cooked food and less fresh vegetable. I told my experience to staff but they are less helpful as well. Some of the staff good at laughing and talking, good place to see laugh face maybe.

Friendly staff and cheap food but it took an hour to arrive (after the rest of the table had finished eating) and the food wasnt worth the wait.

My wife ordered a great imitator wrap and got a wrap which had real chicken in it. She has ordered the great imitator wrap before and can tell the difference. Possibly this was because I used my nandos card and got the wrap gratis but the wrong product was added by the waiter. This is essentially inexcusable and should never happen. My wife is breastfeeding and was very hungry so didnt explain the problem at the time to the staff. They also checked on the table before she had a chance to start to eat it.

Nandos is Nandos but here coke is tasteless and the place is cold!! How a bad experience!

The Best place the best chicken

This is a racist restaurant. PLEASE avoid as an Asian customer. Was standing there for 10 mins waiting to be seated. 2 staff literally noticed me but just ignored me. A White lady came in and just walked pass me then the female staff walked to her and asked her how can I help you but me still standing there being ignored. This is already 2023. How can they treat people differently. I feel disgusted. I left without ordering. NEVER COME BACK AGAIN.

For the first time tried this restaurant. It has decent vegetarian options. We had Chickpeas burgers, Beanie burger and Halloumi with dip. The sauces they serve are too salty per my liking. The food was decent in taste. Peri Peri fries were pretty good. The only thing disappointing was that the buns were too hard in texture, so was too difficult to eat. Vegetarian options: Chickpeas burgers, Beanie burger and another impossible burger

Short staffed very slow kitchen speed and they don t have a solution on Saturday??

Food took a while to come out. I saw my partners burger sat under the heated lamp for at least 10mins tea. Food was Luke warm. Wrong spice in wrap. Questioned about another food item missing ingredient, the waitress looked confused and genuinely did not know what to do. Said she would enquire and never got back to us with an answer. Garlic bread was burnt. Probably the worst experience I ve had in a Nando s. Was not even busy in there.

A burger costs 7.75 pounds, which is completely filling. It costs over 50 pounds, which is not enough for the four of us.

Its fastfood, but it tasted good. You order with you mobile, and they want your email before you can order, why? The staff was frindley. And they dont serve hot drinks (coffe etc ).

Visited today on a busy Bank Holiday. I was surprised how fast the food was served after ordering. Food was good. Although I struggled to eat my burger, without it sliding around. Spicy rice was nice. Refill drinks is a good idea, although my second coke seemed abit watered down and flat, not sure why. The kids enjoyed their food, my eldest braving the hot (spice) level. I think the portions are quite small for what youre paying for. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Making sure we were happy with our meals, and had everything we needed. We dont visit often, but we would go again as an occasional treat because it adds up when there is alot of us eating out

Nando is always a very good option if you like Peri Peri Chicken! My favourite is chicken tights with lemon and herb peri peri. Amazing sides as well. I love the cork on the cob and the peri peri salted chips

Been serve by one Rude waiter, nandos should teach them employees what is a good customer service.

We ordered 3 different meals all together that all arrived in intervals of 20min, staff didnt care that we would have liked to eat together... Really disappointing, expensive for what it is and super bad service.

Great food however one plate was brought out and we waited 30 minutes for my friends to come. In the end we had to ask where it was. My food was cold by this point. No apologies from staff.

Grilled chicken was tasty and salad was fresh. We also liked seasonings they had. We even visited it twice in our three days stay in Cambridge.

Very good location, nice food. Service is a bit laid back. The guy on the till not interested in serving. Making faces, not helping in explaining items on the menu. He looked like he was the manager and still had no smile on the face and was not welcoming.

Great service and amazing food

I actually kind of like paying for my meal up front. The branding standards let you know youre in a Nandos, which is reassuring to the quality of the food. Staff were present and attentive without being overbearing. All told, a good meal.

Easy to self-order and so tasty on a cold and rainy day. The extra spicy was just regular spicy for me. Staff,manager all very nice.

The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff( Poppy) who went above and beyond to ensure my experience was enjoyable. What truly impressed me was the fantastic music selection. The ambiance was enhanced by a playlist that was not only diverse but also incredibly enjoyable. In fact, I dare say the music here surpassed even that of the trendiest nightclubs in town. It created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Amazing food, amazing spicy sauce. The first time I went, I was a little lost about ordering. Didnt know that you needed to use the QR code. I understand the waitress was in a rush. However, the staff is super friendly and kind. The place is a little bit noisy depending the time you go.

I had a great experience at Nando s Cambridge St Andrew s street. I was greeted and served by Nico. He was polite and friendly offering top-notch customer service! Food was great as always and arriving quickly. Also, shout out to Syb and Fillip who checked in with me that everything was ok and thanks me on the way out.

Without a doubt the BEST Nandos in Cambridge!!!! The chicken is never dry, and everything was delicious. Moreover, all the wait staff were lovely. We were greeted by lovely Taylor and even recommended the loaded fries (which was bomb - thanks, Taylor). All of staff members were willing to assist which helped giving such a warm atmosphere. Thank you for such a nice meal!
