Prezzo Italian Restaurant Cambridge offers casual, authentic Italian dining, serving delicious pizza, pasta, wine and cocktails. Tasty gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Kids’ menu available.
We're visiting from San Francisco, foodie Central area with fabulous food, so we weren't sure what to expect. Food was amazing, and the service was even better. Our son was touring the University and we didn't have much time, but they were able to accommodate us. Got us in and out in 30 minutes. The lasagna and the calzone are some of the best I've ever tasted.
Mini Portions It's a very expensive and popular location, so the rent must be crazy. The portions of the food are really small. Looking around other tables, their food looked very small too. I think the food portion is the smallest in the Cambridge town centre. The pasta tasted good. No deny. Very expensive in terms of the portions. Still hungry after the pasta. The tables and seats are very close to each other. Crazily close. Together with the strong heating of the restaurant, it's hard to breathe.
Went here to have pizzas thought I was gonna throw up Im not sure how or whats in it exactly but the pizza tasted so off. Not even worth the price. The only good about this restaurant was the decor. The waiters were rude and gave such bad impressions. They were judgmental and unprofessional. The atmosphere was ruined as a result due to the waitres being rude, the long wait for food which I could have done a whole lap around cambridge by then and the food made me feel ill to the point I thought I had food poisioning. Always had bad experiences with this place but I brushed it off but now I cant. Went here for my birthday and they were rude and impatient and burnt the candles off my cake which ruined it and had ash on it as you can see on the sides of the cake in the photo. The waiters were even more annoyed and rude when I didnt tip for their unprofessional behaviour. I dont suggest anyone coming here unless you want to waste money and have the best experience of being on the toliet and dealing with rude staff.
Delicious food, service too and it's very nice to eat in such beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it 🌈❤️
Came here as was staying in Cambridge for my birthday. Restaurant looked cleaned and tidy. Staff were Friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly and hot and was delicious. OK priced. Had views over the river Cam. Definitely will go back when in Cambridge next. Highly recommend.
Great food, they have a lot of spicey things if you like spicey. The service is great, but takes sometimes a bit time. The atmosphere was fine.
My Husband booked a table in advance for a surprise 30th birthday. We had a table for 12. We had starters and mains. 2 vegetarians and 1 gluten free and all needs catered for. The food was delicious. Staff were friendly They do add a service charge on so be aware if don't like paying this. Taxis rank outside of restaurant. Near the river.
Food is lovely and the staff are very friendly! Waitress recommended some good dishes! Good location too
Kinda mid tbh
Fabulous place with amazing food and excellent staff
Food is bad and the service is really disgusting.
The restaurant experience was expensive, with a Margherita pizza priced at £14.57. They added a 20% VAT and a 10% tip.
Had a lovely birthday dinner here last Saturday. We hadnt booked but the friendly lady at reception asked us yo return in half an hour and she would save us a table. The king prawn spaghetti was perfectly spiced and the chicken saltimbocca was delicious.I also had a voucher for a bottle of wine, the Trebiana I was served was a perfect accompaniment for the food. Sat outside with views over the Cam.Riccardo was the most polite and friendly waiter.Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Very bad food and drinks long wait and over all really smudgy
We came at this joint to collect our pizzas worth £30 and had to use the washroom aswell. We were five people the staff is really arrogant i think the manager probably. She said to us the public toilet is outside our shop and was very arrogant The food was good
Sat outside soaking in the sun. Service was great enough attention without being overbearing. Food was great, the Sage Chicken perfect.
Very good restaurant, delicious food and very friendly helpful helpful staff.
Very good service
Prezzo used to be my favourite restaurant to go to back in the teens. Since lock down. Everytime I go its a disappointment. Last I been was just over a year ago. I thought was great. So left for a while and still isnt probably got worst. Burrata with tomatoes. Basic for £9 starter. I tried the new format Pinsa with chicken and peppers and again below my expectations. Best thing about it its the location and staff were good too. Pizza express and Zizzi are much better nowadays if you wish to go to a franchise like for like. I think will leave another year before returning. Dietary restrictions: Coeliac support
I went to Prezzo over the weekend with my Family and didn t like the attitude of the staff. I found them rude. Didn t think they were polite.
Great place! Ive had lunch there The food was good as well.
Ive been to Prezzo many times in Cambridge and the staff are always really nice. On Saturday at 1.30pm, my wife and I decided we would like to go for some lunch at Prezzo again. On arrival we were greeted by a lady I believe is called Carina. She said do you want to sit outside in the sun, or inside?. I burn quite easily so I said inside please. Carina went off to look for a table inside. While we were waiting we noticed a table outside, but in the shade. When she came back we said can we sit on that table in the shade?. Her reply was unbelievably rude, she yelled YOU TOLD ME YOU WANTED A TABLE INSIDE! We couldnt believe what was happening, she sat us down and walked off. My wife suggested we quickly leave just in case she started causing an argument or something. Ive spent probably over a thousand pounds in that restaurant. Ill never go back there again now though. She isnt a happy smiley type of person, I noticed her the other day working there and looking grumpy. She would be better off washing dishes away from customers. There is no excuse for bad manners like hers!
We booked for 7pm but arrived 530pm and was accepted early. Amazing food, highly recommend the saltimbocca chicken sage, perfectly cooked, I thoroughly enjoyed it! My partner had pizza and chips which she said was mega!! Food
My friend came here whilst we were staying in Cambridge for two nights. The service was excellent Food
Everything was so perfect! the employees were very kind and the food size was huge so I suggest you come and eat here
Good food, good service, a bit pricey Parking: We parked opposite Namaste village, free after 7pm Food : 5/5 |
Food was very good however there was a bit of a wait, still very good though
I ordered spaghetti Bolognese it was very watery it looked like ICELAND microwaved pasta The service was good enough for Cambridge as expected nowadays
Very bad experience with that place. I placed my order by Uber Eats from that restaurant. I ordered a bundle for 1 so I should get 1xmain 1xdrink and 1xside. But when I received my delivery I found that the main is missing. At the and I was offered to get £6 as a refund. This is absolutely not enough. My order cost me £20 and it was missing the main part of that order which was pizza. So it looks like Prezzo have very expensive garlic bread and drinks cause that cost me £14.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again when I m next in Cambridge for work. I had a Calzone which was lovely.
Even my two year old baby can make better pasta.. pasta quality 3/10 rating for me. Service was good. But overall I would not recommend because of the food quality. It was dry.
Very nice view and amazing food
There were four of us in this restaurant and we were thrilled with both the food and the service. We had pizza, pasta, calzone and salad and everything was fantastic, especially that you could get as much freshly grated parmesan as you wanted over your pasta dish! In addition, all the service staff were very, very friendly and, shortly before paying, they told us to register with Prezzo to get a 20% discount. All around a great restaurant with great service and very tasty food! We would go there again and again :) Dietary restrictions: We asked about allergies in advance.
Amazing staff great service
Decent food, good kids menu, very helpful and friendly staff
Came here with my mum and had a great time, food was delicious and service was lovely would come again
Good food, terrible service. Not only very slow but the lady working outside today was incredibly rude to multiple customers.
Visit Overview: We recently dined at Prezzo Cambridge for a family meal and encountered a mix of impressions. While certain dishes stood out positively, others did not meet our expectations. Hits and Misses: Crab & Lobster Ravioli: This dish earned praise for its delicious flavor. However, the portion size was quite small considering the price. Spaghetti with Devon Crab & Chilli: This dish unfortunately missed the mark. It lacked any real spice or flavor, and even basic seasoning seemed absent. The staffs suggestion to add salt didnt significantly improve it. Sticky Toffee Pudding: We were initially excited to try this dessert, as its often a crowd-pleaser. Unfortunately, the pudding itself was a major disappointment. Instead of being moist and sticky as expected, it was dry and lacked the characteristic texture. The gelato, however, was good. Service: The staff s demeanour was warm and accommodating, especially when recommending the sticky toffee pudding, despite the dessert not living up to its reputation. Overall Experience: The amiable service was overshadowed by the food s inconsistent quality. Prezzo Cambridge shows promise as a family-friendly venue but requires attention to detail in portion sizing and flavour consistency. Ambiance: The restaurant offered a pleasant and familiar ambiance, consistent with the chains style. There were no wait times for service or food, which might have been due to the weekday evening and rainy weather keeping crowds down. Value: Considering the portion sizes and some inconsistencies in food quality, the price point didnt feel entirely justified. Recommendation: I would recommend Prezzo Cambridge with some caveats. The delicious Ravioli and quick service were positives, but the other dishes mentioned fell short. Diners should be aware of potential portion sizes and consider these points before their visit.
Stood there for atleast 10 minutes waiting to be seated but we were completely ignored by staff. Ended up leaving and going to eat somewhere else
Food was delicious and served promptly. Good customer service. Vegetarian options: Yes. Dietary restrictions: Yes. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Awesome gluten-free dining experience. Its nice to see so many options available when you have restrictions on what you can eat We ended up going to Prezzo as the team wanted to eat Italian and it turned out to be a bad day to dine in. There was only one server and limited kitchen staff. The server did give us his best as he worked through all the limitations he had. All in all a good dining experience Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options for an Italian place
Ignorant service.
Had very nice spaghetti carbonara and large nduja pizza here. Though desserts were disappointing, orange cheesecake not very orangey and served with milk and best ever chocolate cake was not a cake but tart/mousse which was overbaked. Service a bit slow as they were understaffed on a busy Saturday
Nice food and great service.
Very good place for lunch located in the city centre of Cambridge. Wide range of food, including lovely filet of seabass and amazing choice of antipasti. Definitely a go-to place.
Extremely disappointed with the reception Im traveling from France with my children, I made the wrong entrance and the waitress spoke to me in a really unpleasant and rude tone. So we go around the restaurant to find the right entrance and the lady who seats the customers gives me a place right in front of the front door where all the drafts pass. I ask him if it is possible to change tables knowing that many were free. She replied that no, everything was reserved, it was 4 p.m. at that time and more than half the restaurant was empty. I took my things and we left. First time I have had a bad experience at Cambridge.
Cant speak highly enough. We had a birthday celebration here and the table was fantastic overlooking the river. The staff were so helpful and made it such a great time.
VERY VERY GOOD!! the calzone was accompanied by a tasty tomato sauce. however the ravioli were spectacular!! the staff were very kind, the place very pleasant
Lovely pizza, they dont own lagger glasses
Great food, extremely nice staff, well be back!
Good place. Great pizzas Desert too pricey.
Food was good, however I felt very rushed. Service was too good, and my partner was asked if we wanted dessert before Id even got close to finishing my food. When the server came back, he was stood waiting at the table for a couple of minutes for me to finish my last mouthful. I understand theres not many seats and it was a busy night, but it did make me feel unwanted and rushed.
Better than expected. Came with a last-minute O2 discount. Smells nice and tastes alright. I really appreciate the spinach in the pasta. The sauce is light and not too heavy or greasy, but a little too watery, making it hard to eat elegantly with the dripping cream. Portion for pasta is quite small and not very filling. The calories are adequate of course. Service is friendly (exceptional for chains:) and fast. Asks about and accepts discounts without grudge. Unlikely to come back for the full price though.
Small portions but tastes okay
Good food and service
Food was just right loved it and wanted more. Evidence in empty plates lol.
Looking a bit tired now. We wanted Lasagne but they didnt have any. Generally ok though.
Service is slow but food no doubt wonderfull
Pasta was not cooked properly. Lacked taste. Was very cold inside. Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian options. Food : 1/5 |
Always good food at reasonable prices.
Service was amazing, the waiters we had were so lovely and helpful. Only downfall was the lobster and crab ravioli portion was a bit on the smaller side, but still very very tasty!
Booked a table for 20:30hrs for our evening meal we always try to find a Prezzo when we are away. The usual high standards were here. We had garlic bread, Margherita pizza and beef in red wine with porcini mash. All cooked fresh and really tasty. We also had a free bottle of Prosecco from joining their mailing list. Keep up the good work Prezzo
Had a lovely meal tonight. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food
Disappointed
Nice place, good food, kind people.
1+ hours of waiting. 0 quality, just a tourist trap
Absolutely awful food, barely any choice for vegetarians. What we did order was barely edible. It was a disappointment to Prezzo of the past.
The food was great so was the service, especially the goat cheese pizza would recommend it to anyone
Pleasant experience great staff
Im not surprised they had to close so many branches, the personal is just rude , they simply just ignore you.... definitely the staff will collapse this business and not the food .
The pizza s quality was ok. However, I found a dead mosquito in my water. When I told the server, she didn t even bother apologizing and just said she will let the bartender know. I was disappointed and won t be going back.
arrogant attitude, she shouted at us, I asked her nicely if we could sit at the next table because the first table was next to the kitchen door and she spoke badly to us, she shouted at us, the impertinent, uneducated person who brings great damage to the restaurant , horror person. the other blonde girls who served us were very polite and nice, but this person without primary education made us feel very bad. we wanted to leave after he spoke badly to us and screamed, but why should we leave so that the restaurant will lose some customers? we better sit down and show management and future customers what kind of employee the Prezzo Cambridge restaurant has. this person should not work with the public but should look for another job somewhere in a room where he does not have contact with people because he does not know how to respect people.
You cannot buy one scoop of
Food was very good but the service was dreadful and the staff were really rude
Definitely not coming back they r so racist they ignore us completely and serve others who come after us just because they r white.
Very bad service, did not even get to the food as the gentleman at the door was not very welcoming. Decided to walk away!
The whole experience from start to finish was bad. We were taken to out table by a hard faced women, the vibes were bad but we were hungry so I let it be, she seated us right at the back of the restaurant which felt like a storage corner even though the was plenty of space everywhere else. We sat there waiting for our food for 45 mins and then I saw that the table who came in 10 mins ago have already been served. That was my breaking point. The guy I had a go at was apologetic and gave me a discount but this has got to be my worst restaurant experience ever and Im 42. Oh, we are Asian Muslim so maybe that had something to do with it.
Nice pasta from this restaurant chain.
It was busy but in general the food was very tasty and, although with some wait, we had a great meal.
Very impressive with their staff very friendly and polite, food was excellent, well worth the money paid
Great location, but the food was average.
Wonderful meal after a relaxing day sightseeing on the river.
Liked this place everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meal. Next to River Cam handy for a punt experience too.
Josh was incredibly thoughtful, and the arancini was phenomenal. Run, don t walk, to Prezzo.
This was the best place ever!! In Cambridge for 2 weeks and I/we all love it here!! Starters, Drinks, dinner (risotto), dessert all excellent!! We even had some party members order a second entree!! The kitchen was amazing.... Those aracini balls we ordered after limoncello and dessert were amazing and so much so that we ordered 7.25 orders!! But the most amazing of all....Josh!!! He was an amazing host for the evening and we would all recommend going back here over and over again!! Thanks Josh and team!! Thanks Prezzo!!! We love you!!! Love from Minnesota!
Great location with staff and food delicious
Lovely
First time to this Prezzo since moving to Cambridge. Big fan of other Prezzo outlets. We made a mistake with the booking (day was wrong). The lady who was at the door was not overly welcoming, and displeased at our incorrect booking - she made this pretty clear. When we advised that an infant would be joining us she came across as pretty abrupt. Can t fault the food or drinks. Beautiful peach and vodka spritzer and the tre gusti was awesome. Would defiantly visit again for the food, however I m afraid the attitude/tone of the waiter wasn t up to par.
Absolutely fabulous for an Italian chain restaurant! Great location next to the river, great decor inside, and some fancy-dancy flutes for the prosecco we had. The highlight though was this spicy penne I had with This Is Not Chicken in it! Absolutely divine scran! The garlic cheese bread/flatbread thing was good enough, but it just wasnt for me. However, overall, I would definitely recommend this place!
Great food, excellent service. Thank you for making my husbands extra spicy pasta. He thoroughly enjoyed it.
1) Food was repeatedly delayed without an iota of contrition, whilst other non-asian tables were served priorly 2) Manager/Owner said she didn t appreciate her staff telling her the customer was rude before even hearing the entire story 3) Staff lied that she didn t say anything to the manager 4) MOST importantly, food was at best - EDIBLE
Obviously an establishment run by an entitled and racist team. Had similar treatment as some of the other reviewers about being ignored, unapologetic about forgotten orders and bad service, and to top if off, being berated by the so-called manager for being unkind customers. We were always polite and had our two young children with us (so did not want to make a scene) but we thought they would benefit from feedback (seats had a mess on it when we were shown to them, our orders arrived after some others who ordered later, one of our main courses was forgotten - perhaps deliberately - after we provided feedback). I understand staff are stretched but this is supposed to be the service industry after all and at the risk of sounding entitled I do think paying customers can expect some level of aptitude and courtesy. In any case it was clear we were seen as not-as-worthy because of the colour of our skin - a pity in this great seat of learning where the brightest minds from all over the world congregate. Enter at your own peril ... (good location though next to the river - suspect that is what has kept it going).
Stood 5 minutes to be seen. Then told to sit at a table which was meant to be clean, but had food bits everywhere. Took another 25 minutes before waitress came over to ask for order. Took another 25 minutes for our coffee, which was cold. Only good thing was location near River front. Staff appalling.
Absolutely deplorable customer service Exploiting customers who maximise the location. Staff are unapologetic for delays and poor delivery of food. The manager is arrogant and doesn t value any service. Avoid and explore alternative options. Food
The food was satisfactory but the service was awful, we waited 35 minutes just for our drinks. No one asked us how our food was either. Wont be going again
Poor service simple.. staff needs some courses how to work with customers,
Lovely place to sit outside ..eat drink, watch the punting on the river
Excellent meal. Fantastic service. Quick, polite staff and good value food. Thank you.
Rude staff, cold food, log waiting and extremely expensive prices. Never again. Vegetarian options: You can eat salad. Food : 2/5 |
The food was quite lovely and the location was exquisite. The staff were a bit overwhelmed but that was mostly due to the fact that I visited during the weekend.
Horrible experience! This restaurant is a total disappointment. The service is simply non-existent. We spent 20 priceless minutes waiting for the bill to be brought to us. After that, when we asked the waiter to give us just 5 minutes because the internet was not working - neither mobile nor wifi - we again spent 20 minutes waiting and the waiters just raised their shoulders. And when I finally decided to walk up and ask how long we would have to wait, I was given incredibly rude treatment. The response I got was Shut up, change your tone, youre not a princess, go where the sun doesn t shine. I think this restaurant should close for good or at least replace their absolutely useless staff. The pasta may be good, but the pizza is an absolute disgust. I will never set foot in this horrible place again!
Forgotten about once seated. Delay in taking order. Forgotten about again. Asked about food after waiting, arrived cold. Waitress rude and unapologetic. Childs dessert never arrived. Was getting too late so just paid bill with a different server and left. We were also the only coloured people there so cant help but wonder if this is a factor in them ignoring us. Dont ruin your visit to a beautiful city by entering this disappointing establishment.
Fine, but they were badly understaffed today. Our server was excellent however, but other groups seemed to be having concerns
The manager don t know how to talk with customer very bad lady .and food was cold and average .it s scam don t want to go anymore.
Excellent coffee. And excellent service. And a nice session. And amazing cake pieces
A good evening out. Lighting a bit bright but thats probably personal taste.
The garlic bread is excellent, the cheese version is very pizza-like, and it s also delicious without cheese For pasta, I chose Carbonara, which is delicious when paired with chicken. A traveler suggested that adding al forno will turn it into a grilled version, which is worth trying. The store is full, there is a heater outside the store and the store staff provides blankets. It is a very good and considerate meal. Kid-friendliness: There is a sign saying Children are free. Those with children can try it.
Great pizza and friendly staff
Our go to place.
The first thing I fired a manager from this place. Thinks too highly of himself
Great food, just quite expensive.
we ordered just for a pizza and pasta, it took nearly an hour for us to get food after a few follow ups, the other tables were served ahead of us. We werent answered properly when we had asked for the ETA, we were made to wait much longer than we initially anticipated. That indeed raised a question, is it because of our ethnicity or does it usually take long (1 hour) to prepare a vegan pasta and pizza (both normal size)? We were a bit puzzled and wanted to get out of the restaurant after having this doubt. I hope it wasnt the reason as we had never felt so in England so far. Hope the restarsnt reads this review and refrain from doing such things if that was the intention, and if thst wasnt, please keep your customers posted on the ETA. 20-30 mins wait time is understandable, 1 hour is not.
Nice lunch, over looking the river, attentive staff. With Meerkat offer excellent value
Food was nice, staff friendly, but both myself and my wife had really bad upset stomachs within a couple of hours of leaving.
The best pasta in Cambridge! Highly recommend this place
They never have bruschetta at this branch should just take it off the menu at this point.
Good food, Great Location and very hospitable staff.
Great food and service
Been a while since visiting a Prezzo. Really enjoyed it. Good food and service.
We had lunch at Prezzo in Cambridge and it was wonderful, variety on the menu and tasty. A girl from Lithuania served us (unfortunately I dont remember her name) with knowledge about the menu and very helpful with allergy lists. A big thank you !!!
A very enjoyable meal and evening spent here. Impressed all round with excellent service from pleasant staff.
Slow service and wrong food was brought; no offer of a replacement or bill adjustment. The food we did get was nice enough but it was certainly not the high point of my day in Cambridge.
Very ordinary food, nothing to get excited about. Typical chain atmosphere, loud and a lot of banging and clatter of plates etc.
Great service, always enjoy the food
Had a nice meal here. Great staff..
Alfredo is my favourite and the calamari too, great service too!
After reading mixed reviews we thought we would give it a go and see for ourselves, at least once. Took a couple of minutes to be welcomed but friendly greeting shown to our pre booked table. Lovely waitress serving us. We had Tesco s vouchers with us today, waitress explained they were for food and hot drinks only which we were aware of any way. Husband had king prawn spaghetti and I had the crab and lobster ravioli. Fabulous meal, both really happy with it and surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be booking again next time we visit Cambridge.
Our visit was part of a BAG voucher,3 courses all courses where excellent, waitress was asking if all was well constantly, highly recommend.
Food was nice but only Luke warm.
Busy on the weekends but very pleasant service, and good food.
Delicious italian food. Garlic bread is fantastic
Absolutely shocking service! We were left waiting to be served outside by a waiter who thought it was more important to Clear the tables than take our order Took are order after 10 mins only to come back & tell us . He could not selves us cause we had not bookibg ref .
Not good service, average food, and high prices.
Very delicious pizza.. have been there twice in the area and only ate same thing ..
We had a very nice dinner including two starters, one Risotto and two main Pasta dishes which were of very good quality. Definitely, all starters and Pasta dishes are very good choices in Prezzo. Furthermore, the service was always very good and perfectly adapted to our needs. We would come there again and we recommend this place.
Food and drinks were very good. Service was a little questionable. Our server walked past us several times after checking with us and being told we were ready for our check. Otherwise very good!
Jul 22 Excellent pizza and good service but a disappointing starter which they did knock off the bill
Working hours are not till 22:00
Had a nice family meal on a hot hot hot day (2022 heat wave). Choose this place as it has air con mostly but the pizza was certainly nice and tasty. Recommended Kid-friendliness: Its better than some places as they have a kids menu and some basic kid colouring etc.
The place is nice and the food is reasonable. Not great happiness
food was great , really service was too , would recommend this place Parking: there is none
Great food and service too Parking: there is none
Discriminate against colour folks ,will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Staff misbehaved . I asked for a take away if the table was not available but that was refused too. For me service matters more than the food and no where it stands by. Poor hospitality!
Friendly staff, great food and decent prices. Vegetarian options: They had vegan options available on the menu. Dietary restrictions: We had a person with a nut allergy with us and the staff were very informative about the food contents providing us with a detailed list of potential allergens in their food. Kid-friendliness: My kids had a nice time and enjoyed their kids meals.
We where five people booking reservations on Monday for Thursday, because they were full booked any other day. When Thursday arrived, they then told us that we had no reservation, and that they couldn t do anything about it. They didn t even give us an apology.
Great food and great service. Very busy day but you got me and my partner in and provided a great meal in great time!
Tried to walk in on Sunday at noon. Completely empty. A rude host asked if we had a booking and said there was no availability. Beginning to think this is a front for something given there s no one eating there and they refuse to serve people. Avoid.
The food was good, but they did give me a hot beer glass straight from the dishwasher. Any place that serves hot beer glasses is a place I wont be going back to.
This place is perfect for people without taste buds and enjoy being ignored by the waiter. Carbonara was so bad it was a joke, tasted like the carbonara from a jar you get at the shop with tons of pepper. Waiter asked me if I wanted cheese on top, said yes, but it came without. Pizza dough obviously not done fresh to order. after we asked for the bill the waiter was just going around taking other orders for several minutes and ignoring us. Staff ignorant selling food that you could probably find better at aldis for a fraction of the price, shame as the location is nice
Its my first time being in Prezzo and everything thing was awesome. Warm and polite customer service also delicious food 5*. Thanks to our server Tas she was really helpful.
A great location next to the river with views of Magdalen college and punts on the river. We booked a table indoors but asked to go outsid. The staff were great and moved us when a table became available. Highly recommend.
Dirty toilets - had to ask for it to be cleaned so I could take my children inside. Had to wait over 45 minutes for two kids margarita pizzas - no explanation given despite numerous requests for the food. Can t imagine how bad the service would be if it was ever busy in there. With so many other options, I d avoid and try elsewhere in Cambridge.
I never usually leave reviews . However, this was possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress was rude and everything was too much effort, even a simple question about butter on bread and was given a awful look. The general place and atmosphere was not up to usual prezzo standards. We left after drinks.
Excellent service and food
Very nice food and service, as you d expect from a Prezzo. Slightly cramped inside as it wasn t the largest place.
Burnt pizza and salty soup after a long wait. Hated every bit of it. Not returning and do not recommend.
Great food, service and quality.
First time in a Prezzo for me, daughters choice of venue. Chose the calamari followed by a fabulous calzone pizza. Definitely not disappointed. Only downside was theyd run out of tiramisu. Come on guys, get a grip. Overall better than expectations so no real complaints (probably couldnt have managed a sweet anyway )
Fantastic location, right next to the river. Very good pizza, cant comment on the other food, but service was very good as well.
Avoid!! We went here yesterday after pre-booking weeks in advance for our table of 20 (13 kids, 7 adults). Firstly, pizzas and chips were lovely! Happy weekend the the good. Toilets, DISGUSTING! Worst Ive seen in Cambridge restaurant. Maybe Llamas land public loos are cleaner. Shared with men and woman too. My 7 year was bursting and cane back out and said theyre too dirty. They were filth. Waiting staff, dreadful. Fake, saw them talking behind my back because Id kindly asked them to do their job and finally clean our table. I even had to ask for the spray and blue roll, at which point she said reluctantly and with a sour look, no shell do it. The waitresses did not clear our table of plates and drinks and me and the mums had to clear it. She told us she has other tables to serve. Miserable looking woman, not one smile. Bar man miserable and could barely string a sentence together. Such a dull atmosphere. It was my daughters birthday party and not one of them chatted to the kids, asked whos birthday it was. No colouring pencils of paper menus. Our bill was over £300. They slapped on over £30 service charge, ha what a joke. Prezzos around the UK are great. This one lets them down. They said I could bring in our own birthday cake as they couldnt sell me one. I asked for plates and didnt get any, so had to serve it to the children on our own napkins which luckily Id brought. Please management improve the dining experience for this place. Kid-friendliness: There wasnt any!
Lovely staff, great atmosphere, food was good! Well worth a visit!
Lovely staff
Loved it, couldnt have faulted anything.
I was so long and not taisty
We had lunch today, unfortunately the restaurant felt like we were sitting in a corridor, service was slow and it didnt feel like a treat at all.
Fantastic
Unfortunately not the greatest experience! The waitress didn t seem friendly and wasn t helpful when having a coughing fit. Food was not high quality and we were not happy with the price we paid for it. We ended up getting food elsewhere as we were still hungry
First time dining in this Prezzo and I dont think Ill return any time soon. Lija out waitress was great. She was friendly, professional and attentive. We ordered Calamari and king Prawn Cocktail for starters. The Prawn Cocktail was fresh but was too heavily covered by the sauce. The Calamari was soggy! The restaurant was not busy at all as it was past busy lunch hours but our food from starter to main course took over 37 minutes! We ordered the Crab and Lobster Ravioli for main course. As can be seen in the photos, they were not cooked properly and the skin was hard. By that time we were so hungry and just ate it and left. Couldnt imagine complaining and having to wait another 37 minutes! I heard another customer complaining to the manager about his pasta being too chewy!
Had a few probs but staff sorted it. I would revisit. Try again.
Great place! Ive had lunch there today with a friend - the food was yummy and served very quickly, staff so nice and the restaurant is so cosy too. Definitely recommend
Wanted to order through deliveroo but for some reason was coming up as closed. Called the restaurant and the helpful staff arranged an order and even matched the price on deliveroo (which was about £15 cheaper with voucher / discount). Great service!
The food was good, the staff very friendly and the restaurant is well situated along the river.
