An absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. The whole team was welcoming as soon as we arrived and our waiters Ana, Ajin and Tharanika ensured we was looked after throughout the whole evening. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend everyone to book in during your visit to Cambridge. Thank you team Mina!

Came with family for the first tine , the steaks were good and the sunday roast with a large dumpling was amazing with perfectly roasted vegetables. We were very well looked after by the owner and arjin . Will definitely come back again .. thank u. It started off well... The dragonfruit mocktail was genuinely fruity, fizzy, and a flavour bomb! The calamari starters were tasty too. I opted for the sea bass as a main, paired with the recommended mac and cheese side. Unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing for the same reason overly oily and lacking in flavour. The bed of vegetables beneath the fish was neither cooked nor seasoned, merely drenched in oil, and the standard cutlery struggled to cut through them. On a positive note, the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we were well looked after throughout the meal. The restaurants atmosphere leans heavily toward presentation, clearly designed to encourage social media sharing, which attracts a younger-than-average crowd. While it has its highlights, this venue may prioritize aesthetics over culinary substance.

The portions of the food are large, the appearance is exquisite and beautiful, and the bosss service attitude is also good, but the serving speed is a bit slow.

FOOD - Pretty good I enjoyed my food, which was halloumi and fillet steak and most people liked theirs, although some of the steak enthusiastics only rated theirs okay SERVICE - Pretty bad We went with a large group (about 12 people) for a birthday thats been booked in advance. We arrived there around 8.30pm and put our orders in, everyone had starter + main. Both courses took a VERY long time to arrive, about 1 hour each. There were multiple other tables (between 2-4 people) who arrived after us and left before we could even start our mains. We POLITELY complained about this and about some of the mains being wrong, the lady serving us seemed to want to put the blame on us and also raised her voice, as if we were the ones in the wrong. Also for the money we spent wed definitely expect a kinder, more polite attitude. The other servers seemed really nice and polite and in the end, they did knock a portion off our bill, but overall it was not a great experience for us. If you are a large group, definitely pick a different place. There were also a lot of fruit flies that kept landing on our food, but I guess thats less of their fault.

Based on the reviews for this place, we had high expectations but were very disappointed. Firstly, they made us sit in a high traffic area - it was too cramped, the tables are too small and there are an excessive number of seats for the size of the restaurant. The service wasn t the worst, but there were way too many staff present who were either chatting away or more focused on filming and recording content for the restaurant s social media. I ordered lamb chops which was too spicy, even though I asked for no spice and the steak was absolutely not worth the money; I doubt it was even Brazilian meat. The quality of the food does not match the price at all. The entertainment was a girl blowing fire everywhere which made the whole place smell of smoke and set the fire alarms off at the end. Overall, would not ever go back or recommend to anyone, unless they want overpriced food and rubbish service - very disappointed.

This was a very unexpected experience. The food was exquisite. The meat of a very high quality and the Roses Surprise desert a truly creative masterpiece. A wonderful evening with great service from Tharanika and Arjin. I highly recommend this establishment for a great gastronomic experience.

The establishment was really nice, a great looking menu, good vibe and great service by Prince. However, the main meal being a fillet steak was dissapointing. The steak had no crust, it was unevenly cooked and very very chewy. In fact, I am not entirely convinced it was a fillet but was served as one. The salad was a baby leaf salad youd expect from a salad bag at the supermarket and the mushroom and special hot sauces were tasteless. The dessert being a biscoff cheesecake however was impressively delicious which brought the review from a 2 star to a 3. I wish I had gone for a burger.

Fantastic food steak cooked to perfection Service was exceptional and our waiter and waitress went above and beyond Arjin and preet we can t thank you enough. Jake our son is doing chemotherapy and you guys made his day . We would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Food was significantly underwhelming. Family of five. Kids had fish fingers and chips - fish fingers were over cooked. I had a steak and chips - really small portion of fries and very salty dressing on salad. Starter was okay - was hoping the dynamite prawns would have been a hit. Overall food was poor for what it could have been.

We decided to try Mina Steakhouse after reading the reviews and are so glad that we did. The service, ambience and the food was just incredible. We had the Korean chicken bites and the classic burger. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly. All in all a wonderful experience and will definitely go there again.

Very friendly staff accompanied with great food and atmosphere. They were even accommodating with our baby we brought in for dinner. This unique steakhouse takes a spin on presentation and desert celebrations. My wife and I celebrated our third anniversary here and loved the special dessert presentation and song choice they played as well.

Great ambiance and vibe at the restaurant, staff were really friendly, seating was a little bit cramped and drinks were great but I ll be honest the food was kind of dead. The biggest problem however were the flies in the restaurant, I had 4-5 fruit flies constantly hovering around my table and it was really off putting. Food: I got the sharing starter platter and only the dynamite shrimp was really good, everything else was pretty average. For mains I got the T Bone steak and honestly it tasted off. Meat was slightly tangy and unseasoned.

I came to Cambridge to visit for a few days and stumbled across this steak house. I cant fault this place at all. From the decor, customer service to the food; everything was splendid and cooked to perfection. The wagyu ribeye steak literally melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this place if youre in Cambridge. Please do check it out.

100% recommend this place, we came for our anniversary and needless to say the experience was amazing! We had a friendly greeting with a cute sign celebrating us, the staff were so friendly, attentive and genuinely happy. The food was immaculate, piping hot and overall delicious. We had some cool smoke type thing with our meal which is an added bit of fun. At the end they dimmed the lights played a song and gave us a free cheesecake with roses and sparklers. Couldn t recommend this place enough, they don t serve alcohol but the mocktails list is endless, definitely try the iced tea one!

Recently visited for a day out in Cambridge. Nice lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food was presented very well and adds to a pleasant experience. The food itself was fine but I am not a huge fan of steak so cannot really say how the steak was.

Went to celebrate my wifes birthday starter was excellent but slow. Main corse was not so good (T bone steak) served on cold plate so steak was cold. Long wait for sides brought out dry ice for effect before sides. Desert was ment to be a chocolate dome which melted when hot caramel sauce poured over it, but sauce was not hot enough. Firework candle brought out for my wife but just given to her to hold until it fizzled out. Good ideas but pourly executed. Should pay more attention to the food and less on effects. Parking: No alcohol served bring your own accepted

The Wagyu Beef sliders were absolutely delicious and melted in our mouths, and our steak mains were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, towards the end of our meal, we encountered some issues. When we expressed our interest in having dessert, it took approximately 20 minutes for us to receive a menu and another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Unfortunately, there was a significant delay in receiving our dessert over 35 minutes, a staff member said he would check on it for us and then never gave us an update. When it finally arrived ( Gold Baklava), it was served frozen and was too hard to eat and freezing cold... Baklava is a pastry and should be served at room temperature unless stated otherwise. It was a shame this how meal eneded after a great experience to begin with.

The waiting staff were friendly, but the overall experience of the food and restaurant was very poor. There were flies constantly around us, with some even going into our food. The portion sizes are very large, but the meat was incredibly dry, bland and had an unpleasant aftertaste. Given the price, it was a very disappointing experience.

It s been a while since my last visit but I m so glad we went tonight. We were greeted by very friendly and professional staff. The starters were on point and the beef tacos were a very pleasant surprise. The Dynamite prawns were excellent! I ordered a rib eye and my cousin ordered a fillet. They were cooked to perfection. The quality of the meat was very obvious. Overall, great food, great service!

It is not often I write reviews after a meal out. This was our first visit to Mina Steakhouse. What a fabulous night we had. We have eaten at a lot of steak restaurants previously around the country. The quality of steak and flavour did not disappoint. On arrival we were greeted so professionally and it is lovely to see staff greet you with smiles and be so attentive. Plenty of interaction with the staff, who cant do enough for you. I had the fillet steak which was perfect, if you have room or want to share a pudding get the Matilda cake. Delicious. It was my birthday and I was serenaded at the table, which was a nice touch. Our kids were 11,13,17 and enjoyed themselves a lot as well. We would definitely go back and see Jay and the team again. Thanks again

14 in for birthday treat, out if the area for the weekend. The atmosphere was amazing, attention to detail from table, staff and surprises galore. Prince is exceptional and should be a keeper. Although you could hear the music it was a great genre and only added to the atmosphere. The food is well worth it and as you can bring your own alcohol it works out cheaper in the end. The only negative was the entrance with all cleaning material and the toilets were a little under par but do not let that put you off. Vegetarian options: Not a choice really for gluten free or vegan but then it is a steakhouse

Superb service, 5 star! The staffs especially the front person with suit is very attentive. Always look out for our needs and very helpful. He always smiling and make us at ease. We tried the tomahawk, pasta, burger, appetiser and it was good. Would come again to try the wagyu.

Every bite reflected the quality and care put into the cooking, making it a truly memorable meal. On top of that, our server, Veronica, provided outstanding service throughout the evening. She was attentive, warm, and highly professional, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning for another visit!

Food was good, service was fine but wouldn t say it was above average. Wasn t too busy as went on a weekday. Food came out quick. Atmosphere was nice and chilled. T Bone with mushroom sauce - ordered medium well but near the bone it was rare so could be better but otherwise it was nice. mushroom Sauces for the steak was watery and could be thicker. Didn t really taste very mushroom like either. - if it wasn t for there two things would have been a four. Chicken Parm - was good, different with use of mozzarella cheese compared to other places I ve had it. Had bit of a zinger flavour to it which was good. Chips - standard did the job, think thick cut steak chips would be better but I guess that s more of a personal preference. I do think the place is pricey for what you get. Roughly £80 for 2 people. I have photos but it won t upload for some reason!

Our first time visiting Cambridge and we looked up for restaurants to visit and this was top picks. And now we know why. What a lovely establishment, the service was by far one of the best we have experienced in a long time. Very friendly, happy to help and attentive. Made a fuss of us for our anniversary. This is a must visit place for dinner.

Really good service, our waiter Prince was friendly and went out of his way to make my husbands birthday dinner special. The mocktails were interesting; the Dragon Fruit one well received - it was delightful! Sharer starter, all items tasted great, particularly the chicken wings and ribs. My son had the Wagyu Ribeye steak which was really succulent and soft. The cheesecake dessert was also a hit. Overall a great experience.

worst steak i have ever eaten in my life. Sooo dry, I couldnt chew it and swallow it, and the size was so small that after that we went and ate at another restaurant to fill up. we paid a lot of money for a terrible meal which was really not worth it at all. the cola was like sugar and water and the orange juice the same it really was very cheap quality in a glass not bottled and the mocktail were not worth your money in any case! also I had a newborn baby with me and at some point the lights turned off they turned up the volume of the music so much that my baby got scared and cried so much,(somebodys birthday)they could have alerted me so i would had taken care not to scare my baby.

Staff was kind and professional, however, we had to ask many times some same simple questions again and again without taking an actual answer on them. Dishes were very small and the rib eye steaks were too dry, tasteless and chewy, fried potatoes were like mc donald s, and the salad was for half person. Finally prices were very high for the amount and quality of the food. Wasted money overall. Sorry.

I visited Mina steakhouse with my family the food was sooo bad quality we order 4 ribeye was overcooked that even we couldnt chew it definently bad cooked dry and tasteless and too small portion and fries that were overfried. Definentely bad experience and waste of money!

They served my 13 year old son and his friends alcoholic cocktails, they came home and were sick everywhere. The one time i went there, without asking permission first, a waiter poured smoke all over the table and winked at me. Will not return, waste of money.

I would not recommend it We booked on the basis of the reviews, thinking that this would be a good opportunity to eat a good piece of meat. First of all, there is a lot of waiting, our dish was served more than thirty minutes after our order. When we received our meat, it was overcooked and did not correspond to what we had asked for. The waiter was kind enough to ask the kitchen to re-cook our dish. Despite this, we have to admit that the quality of the meat was not up to scratch (tasteless and dry). It would seem that this is more of an Instagram story factory than a good meat restaurant.

WOW! Thank you to all of the amazing staff for making our dining experience so special! Prince is an absolute credit to you. I reserved a table for 11 to celebrate my daughters 14th & my birthday! (I just happened to come across this restaurant online whilst we were visiting Cambridge) The food was delicious with a Asian fusion twist. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, the decor, ambience & atmosphere were welcoming. They made us birthday girls feel extra happy! I had the lamb shank very flavoursome & cooked beautifully. The Gold leaf burger, double trouble burger, steaks, dynamic prawns, calamari, fiery wings plus more were delicious & hot when served-(We had starters & mains come out all together). The hot serviettes were a nice touch after the main meal. For dessert would recommend the Matilda chocolate cake! (Its a big portion several of us shared. The hazelnut chocolate cigars were served in treasure chests, tirimusu was really tasty. There are some lovely mocktails; recommend coconut, bubblegum daiquiris, passionfruit martini *remember to BYOB if you want alcohol with your meal. We all also parked opposite the restaurant on double yellow lines. Thankfully I called them prior to visiting and enquire about parking. (fyi Other parking is 5-10 mins walk. Thank you!

Anna and Prince were very friendly, kind and accommodating to us during our meal. We came for our anniversary and the service was lovely throughout, the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and the food was amazing! This was a lovely restaurant to eat at on our first trip to Cambridge and we would definitely come back! Thank you!!

Decided to visit the restaurant in celebration of 19th wedding anniversary. Ordered the sharer platter and billionaire burger. Found the burger a little tough but the presentation was good. The platter was also good and and plentiful. Had the candy dessert which we think was just amazing with the fire effect but also tasted very good and highly recommended. It goes without saying the service was better then the food. Anna was attentive at your request, polite and very professional. Table was laid out with a small plaque which was a nice touch. We also had the pleasure to be served by waiter called Prince. He was a true gentleman! Thank you for a fantastic evening

We visited Minas after looking up, top restaurant in Cambridge. We wanted halal food and ventured away from Mill Road. Really really wish we hadnt. The restaurant is very, very bougie, if you want to go there for the snaps, dry ice and performance then thats the right place for you. There was a large party and a few other tables, restaurant was not full. After arriving we ordered, drinks and mains as we wanted to eat. Food took an hour to come. Asked the waitress after 45 mins to be told it was coming. 15 mins later had to ask the manager, who was really polite and helpful. Ordered 2 truffle burgers, the chicken was pink, and asked the manager, it is supposed to be like that. Apparently it was. Nothing out of this world. Just your common burger, with a cheese slice similar to that served in McDonalds. Fillet steak, looked like a new york strip folded in half to look like a fillet. Not impressive. So not sure why the above took over an hour. Something is not working.

I visited today for my birthday with the family. Special shout out to PRINCE for the immaculate vibes and attentiveness to detail. Kitchen staff are a let down, food order was delayed by an hour, restaurant was empty so there shouldn t have been such delays. When Prince was alerted to this he made sure the food came out swiftly. There were other staff members that could ve helped but didn t, a shame. Now the food. The steaks are great, for the price and taste. The lamb dishes excellent, along with the sides. But the other menu items do need an overhaul, overly sauced small portions could be much better. The pasta dishes leave much to imagination and are not worth the high asking price. If you want great lamb and beef with great sides and drinks go here. Mocktails were great too. The birthday music and vibes from Prince really made the day. But it s a shame only one staff member in the store is actually bothered? Service needs to improve it can t all be Prince running the show. The Menu needs to be massively overhauled and taste tested especially vs price. The lamb and steak sections and sides are perfect do not alter these . Dessert section is great especially the Matilda cake . However Matilda cake should be a bigger slice There is no parking , but pay and display available couple minutes walk away.

Took about 25/30 mins to order and food was very mid. Missed our cinema booking because of this delay. Service was hella slow and no coordination between them unfortunately. Might be the cooks telling them to slow service to a snails pace. Long day smh

Not sure if it was just the fact that it was a Saturday night, but our food took 40 minutes to arrive. One dish was sent back due to being undercooked. The lamb chops were acceptable. Would not recommend the steak. No efforts were made by the staff or management to remove anything off the final bill. Unfortunately, we were not the first or last customers of the night to complain. I have no interest in returning.

I always come here because their steaks are the absolute best, and the service here is amazing. We were served by Ana and Prince and their service was a 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend.

Me and my husband had a reservation here and we waited over 20 minutes to be served. We had to ask a waiter to take our order or else we would ve been waiting even longer. Once the drinks came 20 minutes later I had a spider in my Mojito got told the wait for food was over 40 minutes as well so we left. Horror

Prince did an amazing job providing service to i and my friends

Its an overpriced and unseasoned steakhouse. Brought a mixture of steak, salmon and lamb shank. Lamb shank taste of a Indian curry and comes with no veg. And the salmon was very bland. Staff and atmosphere very lovely. But overall think the food is overhyped.

Amazing place. Took my friend for his birthday and all the staff were amazingly kind and friendly. Especially our servers Ana and Prince! At the end even gave us a birthday cake on the house. Would highly recommend for a great evening out with amazing food.

I went there with my partner for our anniversary. We wanted to try this place since some months already, I see other reviews about the place being overhyped and to be honest, theyre right. Between the time we ordered and the time weve got the empty plates of the starters cleared, went past around 45minutes, despite the restaurant being almost empty. The starters were not crazy great, very average, the dinamite shrimps were completely covered by mayo that tasted like nothing exceptional, bao buns were not the tastiest either and again, nothing exceptional. As for the drinks, we ordered mocktails that were on the menu, some tasteless (but good looking) fruit slushies, which were totally disappointing, as I had to ask for a spoon since it wouldnt melt so I couldnt drink it, at least were not expensive (around 6 bucks). Now the steak I had was the Tbone (despite no seasoning and tasteless green thing on top the meat itself was ok quality) I asked for it to be cooked medium, the steak at the thickest spot was medium rare or rare, the fries served with it were smaller than an average portion, the butter sauce was good, just veery liquid. My partner had the lamb shank which tasted totally bland and wasnt served with side vegetables, only a bit of mash underneath the meat. In conclusion whoever wants to spend quite some money to savour a good wine with a good steak, without being asked to take a video while they serve the food (because of the insta, of course) dont go to this place. And as many other customers said, this place is famous because of the scenic food presentation, other than that its an average overpriced restaurant. With how much weve spent I feel like we wouldve had a better experience elsewhere.

Really great place for steaks and a fun atmosphere. The food was great and the biscoff cheesecake was delicious. Our server was Prince and he was really attentive and personable. I think he realized that the dry ice and theatrics werent my thing so he made sure our experience was a little more muted. Loved him!

We ordered a tomahawk steak and medium rare was very chewy(almost raw) and not to our taste. The lamb shank was average as well. Quite sweet with - a tomato based gravy. The burger was decent with good fries

We celebrated my husband s birthday at Mina restaurant, and the experience was simply wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect, with music that felt like it was straight from my own playlist, and the chic decor was ideal for such an event. The setting was beautiful. For starters, we had the dynamite shrimp and beef tacos, which were both delicious. For our mains, we chose the T-bone steak and the truffle burger, and we really enjoyed them. The dessert moment was even more special. The Matilda cake, which is absolutely exquisite, was brought out with a lit candle. The lights were dimmed, and the music turned up to create an incredible surprise. My husband didn t see it coming at all, and the surprise was perfect. A big thank you to Ana for her discretion and invaluable help in organising this moment. Thanks to her, everything went perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!

The short answer is that the place is absolutely terrible. I d rather a 3am McDonald s. The service and staff were terrible, being rude with their words and actions. They didn t even offer me a glass until I pointed it out. The atmosphere was horrible too, with loud music, small seating, and barely any room on the table. Even with all of this, I could ve forgiven it all if the food was good, but surprise surprise, it was absolutely rancid. The burger was cold and tasteless, the fries had more grease than a valorant player and everything else was either bland or greasy. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to get rid of your catfish blind date.

Mina Steakhouse delivers top-notch steaks with great flavor and tenderness. The ambiance is classy, and the service is attentive.

The food was mid which was very unexpected. The sirloin was kinda acidic, which is super weird for a Steakhouse not gonna lie. The burger was just a burger, not sure it warrants the price but its good. The dry ice bit was cool but it gives the impression its more about the crazy rich vibe than the quality of the meal. I guess if youre looking to impress social media friends this is good. Otherwise Im not sure I can recommend

Beautifully decorated but the food was overcooked and cold. I ordered veggie dumplings that tasted like mush inside (frozen if I had to guess) and the salmon that was dry and lacked flavor. My friend ordered the pasta that was cold upon receipt and also lacked taste. Should of known better after my first visit.

First time coming here and we werent disappointed. Food was 5*, staff service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. Definitely coming back again.

After 3 attempts to reserve a table at 7.00pm, 7.30pm and got a table reserved for 8.30pm. The website states a wine list available, upon arrival we were informed they serve no alcohol. By 8.40pm we had placed our order for 2 starters and 2 mails and our starters arrived within 15 minutes. The chilli prawns were smothered in a sauce which completely detracted you from the actual prawns and my starter was a tasteless small slice of beef on sticky rice which had no taste apart from a very small amount of wasabi. After than waiting a further 1 hour for the main we were met with a boiled lamb shank which had to be cut from the bone, smothered in yet again another sauce to hide the shank, my steak was cooked well but served with a portion of fries large enough not to full a 3 year old and a peppercorn sauce with only 3 peppercorns and lacked any flavour. Some staff were short with customers and other members of staff, not friendly and on occasions frankly rude. We could not wait to leave even though we were still hungry.

Visited on a Wednesday, was quiet but nice. Me and my partner were on a budget but still wanted to treat ourselves. The burgers are very reasonably priced for the size and how tasty they are. The staff were very accommodating (we had Ana and Prince serving us who were amazing). They checked on us often enough to make us feel like we were taken care of but not to much to make us feel smothered. Overall I rate this place really well! would definitely come back again.

Plays extremely loud music late at night

Me and my partner came for our anniversary and had extremely high expectations for the food however we quickly became disappointed and the whole date night went down hill. First we had our starter which were korean chicken bites which were actually very nice and only made us more excited for the food but when our food came to the table we were genuinely shocked, i ordered lamb chops, on the plate there was three little very dry, chewy lamb chops grease was all over the plate, few chips were thrown on the plate with some salad genuinely i was so shocked and threw off, my parter ordered a burger which he didn t finish it in the description it said golden bun the bun was just a normal bun funny as the burger itself is over £30. The whole bill with the drinks came up to 112 with service charge and we decided to take off the service charge as the expectations for this place were so much higher than what we experienced, the waiter repeatedly asked my parter if he s sure to take it off which was extremely odd and rude to be honest made the whole interaction very awkward to when he finally said okay he still proceeded to put the whole charge up which wasn t worth the burger and three lamb chops and my parter had to correct him once again and asked why he put up the whole charge up when we asked to take it off REPEATEDLY and very clearly he just started laughing and finally took it off. So disappointed not your moneys worth at all!!
