Was really looking forward to trying this spot as it's highly rated, we came from out of town, but found it just ok. Still tipped & were gracious & kind (bill was $90 with no drinks, it's not cheap) it was underwhelming & we won't be back. Service was lacking + couldn't understand the server, we really tried.
Ordered off skip the dishes, it was pretty flavorless and blah. Won't be ordering here again sorry .
We make a point of stopping here when passing through in the evening :) They don’t open until 4:30. Feels like authentic Chinese food- very deep and earthy flavours. The spicy eggplant dish is so delicate it’s delightful! The service isn’t embellished, but it is quick and you get what you want. Great dinner stop 👍🏽

I know quite a bit about Chinese food and lived in china for over three years. This is the most authentic food that you’ll find without having to drive to vancouver. Get the cumin beef, dumplings, and spicy eggplant.
I had my birthday dinner here with a group of 14. The staff were very helpful making sure the dishes were special. I really like mainland Chinese dishes and eating family style the way groups do in china. We were able to do that here. It was a treat, the cumin beef, the MaPo tofu, and spicy eggplant were my favourites
I love the food here. It is authentic peking cuisine. My family loves the spicy eggplant, crispy duck and garlic brocolli, oh, and red bean sesame balls. Haven't had a dish we don't like! And the sevice is excellent!

not bad. Order it often. Some dishes are in line with Chinese tastes and some are only liked by foreigners, but it s good that this small place can do this.
I spent Chinese New Years here with a large group and we had excellent service and amazingly authentic Chinese food. Get the green onion pancake, black bean chicken and cumin beef! Xie xie!

The Beijing House is one of the best restaurants in Campbell River! The food is delicious! The owners are amazing!
After moving back to Campbell River from Shanghai, I was doubtful I would ever find comparable Chinese cuisine in town. I was wrong. So grateful that this places exists in the Riv. Amazing dumplings and highly recommend the eggplant.

This was a lovely experience. Having travelled from Victoria we decided to eat here before heading to Port Hardy .The owners were super friendly and helpful .The meal was delicious and certainly the BEST CHINESE and most authentic I have tasted .....Wonderful Time ,Thank You

Best chinese food Ive ever eaten. The veggies are fresh and not over cooked .. you will not regret eating here . Sweet and sour pork has huge pineapple chunks .. favorite dish and the garlic broccoli is amazing

Ordered from Skip the Dishes app tonight and tried Beijing House for the first time. Absolutely amazing food and we loved the different choices like: Lichee Chicken and Cumin Beef! Totally recommend if you are looking for something different! We will definitely be ordering again in the future:)
