The food was very greasy my toast was soaked in butter and you could even put any jam or anything on it. The hamand potatoes were soaked in grease my partner had an omelette and the grease was just dripping off of it. I used a napkin to get the grease off of my ham and my potatoes. When the waitress come I told her that you cant even eat the toast and how much grease there was and she said yes they overdid the butter and grease and gave me a $1.50 off my meal. The waitress was a little unfriendly to us and to other people and was in such a hurry.

Food was great and service were fine, I did find it a bit odd the waitress selected her own tip before handing me the machine and didn t say a word about it.

Went in at 12:30 on Wednesday for a quick lunch. We Stood in line with eight other people for five minutes. Not one member of staff greeted anybody or even said that a table would be a few mins (there were empty tables). We left after eight minutes followed by two other people. Great customer service Popseys wont be back.

Whenever I have a craving for eggs benny then this is the place. Average price is about $15 for a full order. My favourite is Jills Benny (pepper jack cheese, mushrooms and avocado). I love avocado and Popseys put a very generous amount on this particular benny. I detected a hint of lemon in the hollandaise (again, just the way I like it). You can also purchase a variety of soups, perogies and cabbage rolls to take home. I havent tried any as yet but its on my to do list.

Staff are very kind but the food was burnt and I received blond hairs in my hollandaise sauce

This is my go to in Campbell River. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast, very generous serving, homemade sauces, healthy lunch choices. Yummy Great Service.

the eggs Benedicts hollandaise sauce was tasteless and the smoked salmon tasted like it was stored in a mason jar of water.. Three stars because the staff were friendly and the eggs were at least cooked nicely.

My bf and I walked in on a Monday at 11:30am, it was definitely not busy inside at this time lol service was great from Desiree, she recommended iced coffee to start and some bacon along with my eggs. Food was fantastic and tasty. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home cooked breakfast. Didnt taste like it came from a supplier. Service was ok, they were busy but the waitress dropped the food and turned around to leave before the plates were set down and didnt ask if there was anything else or come back to check. The service we had was friendly though.

It has been a while since ate here, sad to say Popseys has gone down hill. It took 45 minutes to get our meal and it came barely warm. The whole place needs a good shampooing. Might be a lo g time before we visit again.

Salmon cooked on woodchips. I could taste the woodchips! Lets cook those chunky hashbrowns a little more through people.

Has the best cooked liver dinner. We always stop there when we are in town.

The food was good but very disappointed that they are not following the PHO orders by checking vaccination cards and all staff wearing masks while serving food. Although the sign at the door says masks are required we observed a few groups enter and walk around not wearing them. We will NOT be back even after restrictions are lifted. (BTW can t post a zero star review which is what they deserve)

We were regulars at Popseys. Two of us went in for breakfast. Opted to have 2 pancakes each instead of the hash browns and toast. We were charged $21.00 for the pancakes on top of the breakfasts!!! They were NOT worth $21.00! Never again will we eat there! That s robbery! I had farmer sausage with my eggs, the sausages were so old and hard I could not cut or eat them.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! Good food and they dont rush you out of your seat. Plus you can buy some farm fresh eggs on the way out.

Popseys was recommended by a friend for their delicious Eggs Benedict! She wasnt wrong, they were awesome tasting. Unfortunately our food was cold when it was delivered to our table 40 minutes later. The Eggs Benny still tasted great; just cold, lol. The log cabin style restaurant was clean, neat, and tidy, and I applaud the staff for showing up to work in these stressful times we find ourselves in. Thanks Popseys !

Love this place! Super friendly staff, great food, and relively cheap pricing. In the past, the food has been a little cold, and have had some burnt toast, but honestly, the foods still great tasting! Lovely log cabin setting, always a relaxing environment, and although the service can be a little slow during the rush, its honestly not bad at all. Sure, if you dont like your food a little cold (on the off chance it IS cold, mind you), this might not be the place for you. And, should you be in a rush and cant afford to wait for service, this place also offers pre-made soups and sandwiches, so you can stop in, get your food, and leave in under 10 minutes. Totally would recommend this amazing place to anyone!

Popseys is basically my go-to if I am in Campbell River. They do a good, solid breakfast that will set you up nicely for a day of exploring the island. Parking: A large parking lot that will even accommodate RVs if necessary. Kid-friendliness: It is a very family-friendly spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no steps and wide doorways.

Friendly staff, fantastic log cabin atmosphere with good music in the background (soft classic rock) with amazing home cooked meals. I had the Veggie Eggs Benny & it was fantastic! Vegetarian options: Not many vegan but decent vegetarian options. Parking: Easy Parking Kid-friendliness: Family Friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Ground Floor, Wheelchair accessible door.

Our waitress was rude, the food wasn t great and took for ever. I asked for a ginger ale and she said she didn t have any later to see up at the counter that there was in fact gingerale in the fridge. I m not going back and won t be recommending to go here.

Food was good. Service was alright. The one star comes from the bathroom that you could smell from outside the bathroom. It was comparable to an out house in the hot summer sun. Mens and womens were both extremely disgusting. Obviously not cleaned or disinfected. If the bathroom isnt clean I can only assume the rest of the operation is lacking in hygiene.

Great service today. It was slow to get service & food, but our server rolled qith it like a pro. We ordered 2 patty melts & fish and chips. Patty melts were so underwhelming. A small patty, with a few half cooked onions, and the beef barley soup lacked flavor & depth. The fish had a strong fishy smell that is not usual for fish & chips. We were looking for greasy comfirt fiod, & they did not deliver.

Super disappointing. If you look at who goes there it should tell you about how they cook food. Its mostly older people with no taste pallet left. Gave them a third try today and I regret it. What a waste of 40$ for two peoples take out breakfast not even worth 5$.

Great breakfast, set us up for the day. I had a delicious Popseys omelette, my wife had the vegetable omelette.

My children took me for breakfast on Monday the 15, it was awful, no other word for it. It was also cold the two omelets were a mess, sent them back, they were returned Lukewarm. I had 1/2 a Benny and the hollandaise sauce was separated. The meals were just slapped on the plate no effort at all to presentation.
