My experience last two times eating breakfast here has been delightful! Today was Lynnette and I cannot remember last ones name. Its the first time Ive been here since it changed.

Absolutely an amazing waitress, great service people person, and always tries to bring a smile to your face. This lady has served me for years about time. She gets a raised boss.

Went for a breakfast date! Was very busy but Lynnette was fast, friendly! And kept my coffee full! I had the big brunch platter was very yummy honestly some of the best chicken tenders Ive had!

No stars because we left after waiting 15 minutes. We sat on the bench waiting to be greeted, no one did. There were empty tables everywhere. When we got up to leave one waitress shouted to us that they would seat us shortly, they just had to clear a table. As I said, there were empty tables available. Ive eaten at this place before...the food isnt that great either but I thought Id try breakfast there. Guess not.

Ive been coming to Rickys on and off for 25 or 30 years. Ive noticed since Covid the food quality, the menu options, and the service have all gone down hill. The north Nanaimo, & Courtenay locations SUCK period. Every other Monday Im in Campbell River, and this location is usually OK. Today (Apr 29th) however, my bacon and potatoes were piping hot, my eggs were cold, and by the time my waitress got back to me the pancakes were cold, as I wasnt given butter or syrup. Gravely disappointed with the service, and the place wasnt very busy. Myself and maybe 4 other tables. Ill find somewhere else to have breakfast from now on in Campbell River. For what I paid for breakfast, it should have been a lot better.

Oh my goodness. We ordered the turkey dinners and one salad. It came to $70! Which would be fine if the food was good. The turkey was 3 tiny slices. The stuffing was less than a handful and hard as a rock, it was completely inedible. The mashed potatoes were watery and had about a table spoon full. The vegetables were wilted, soggy and only about 5 string beans. I love Rickys. But avoid this location, I couldnt believe we paid for that to go.

My family went out for lunch after church, 7 of us. We were not expecting a lot, just a nice pave to gather and eat. Everyone got what they wanted. It was good, we ate it all and all of it was a little over $100 for 7 lunches. I think we would do this again.

Service was really good, but my food was soaked in sugar and inedible. It was a chicken and rice dish. I got a poutine to share with my kids because they were still hungry after, but it was old lumpy gravy on mushy fries that were ridiculously oversalted, also practically inedible. The breakfasts are good though. Kid-friendliness: Theyre really good with kids here and they love coming.

Its the worst Rickys Ive been to the food wasnt good and the beer on tap was running out but still gave me 3/4 of a glass of it ,food took to long and the place wasnt busy at all ,we had a table of 5 adults and 4 kids the only thing was ok the kids food come out first but still to long .pretty bad for the money we paid
