660 B Island Hwy, Campbell River, BC V9W 2C3, Canada
We are open 7 days a week 11:30-7:00 we have parking in lot across the street We have driveway for seniors and handicap drop off which makes it more accessible We also have burgers kids meals and much more So bring the family and come on down we are right across from the Fisherman Wharf in Campbell river bc We also have gluten free options
Living in Calgary, I'm deprived of great seafood, especially great fish and chips (one of my all time favourite foods) So when I booked my trip to the Island, getting the best seafood fish and chips was my TOP priority. This place did not disappoint!! I got the two piece cod and fried scallops, and I was in HEAVEN. You can tell their fish and shellfish are fresh as can be, and the crisp on the batters is absolutely perfect. It brought me back to my trip to UK I took as a teenager, and I'd honestly put these fish and chips up against the best chippy in the UK! The service is also extremely friendly. You feel more like you've been invited into someone's home for a nice home cooked meal rather than a restaurant! If you're coming to the Island, even if you're mainly visiting Victoria, Tofino, or Nanaimo, I would strongly recommend going out of your way to take the trip up to Campbell River to grab a meal here! Delicious!
Good quality fish and chips in large portions. Options for salmon or halibut as well. Unpretentious and presented in newsprint cones with holes in the table to support them. Great addition to our late autumn visit to Campbell River.
This place is one of the best restaurants in Campbell River. They don’t pretend to be anything that they are not. Simple fish and chips, lightly battered, and not overcooked. Portions are decently sized and even come in a newspaper cone.
Realy good and large portion of fish and chips. We preferred onion rings more than chips. Nice location at the harbour.
The food was amazing - spent a few hours driving around trying to find somewhere to eat in Saratoga Beach and CR, noticed this place and stopped in. Exactly what I needed, hit every spot perfectly.
We got there just as the last serving of halibut was given out so we ordered the cod. It was crispy and oh so tasty!
We had great fish and chips and Oyster and chips. Some of the best ever. We even came back for a second time. The restaurant could use an update.
Enjoyable as always! Visiting here for some great fish & chips is a must in my books. The halibut is pricey, but the cod is no compromise. It's perfectly greasy, with crispy chips, yummy coleslaw, and perfect tarter sauce. Don't go expecting exemplary service, but the shop provides exactly what is advertised. This is my second time coming here and doesn't disappoint frlm my last visit two years ago. Having two pieces of cod to myself was a little overkill as it's quite generous pieces. You can't go wrong though!
Unpretentious fish supper.. Large portion , Fish was lightly battered and cooked properly. Chips were just right.. Will be back again , go to take out.. Food : 5/5 |
Best fish and chips weve had on Vancouver island. Authentic fish and chips restaurant and the fish is local
Great fish and chips. Probably the best in Campbell River
Wonderful food and great gravy
Very expensive fish and chips which might be okay if they handled the flavour of the seafood a little more delicately . As it was, it was greasy and everything tasted like old fry oil. Bagged coleslaw, small portions of tartar sauce, very slow service and it was pretty dirty when we were there. Head across the street to Crabby Bobs instead!
Fish & Chips exactly as it should be! Grab it to go, the dining room isn t very appealing. Short walk and you can eat overlooking the water. We had the halibut which was cooked perfectly, generous portions, friendly staff We make it a point to eat here every time we visit the island, twice if possible. ;)
Awesome folks...super friendly...
Great. Simple, friendly...Fresh and very good fish.
Parking: Parking in public lot across the street. Lots of spots. Recommended dishes
Get the cod, it was incredible. Malt vinegar in spritzer bottles on the table really helped put this meal over the top for me. It s safe to say: I love Dick s.
From a value standpoint, they knock it out of the park, and the service is great. I had the cod and chips. A 3-piece with an extra onions rings side worked great for three people, and the chicken straps my wife had were very well done.
Super fast, super tasty you can sit inside and outside Parking: Opposite the visitor center
Fantastic GF Salmon. fish & chips - friendly staff and reasonable prices
The best fish and chips I ve ever had!
Everything youd expect in a real traditional seaside fish and chips joint.
Very fresh fish, had the fried cod meal, DELISH! Highly recommend!
Outstanding customer service by what I assume is the owner/manager? He went above and beyond to ensure an amazing dine in experience. Portions were incredibly generous and the food was delicious. We will definitely return!
Great food and super friendly staff
Pretty overrated in terms of the food and the service. Younger staff are nice but the older woman at the front in particular struggles with how they ought to treat customers. Portion sizes appear to have gotten smaller over the years and the prices really dont match what you get. Luckily there are several other nearby options to choose from.
I ordered a fish burger it was a soggy mess it fell apart with a huge puddle underneath. The cook walked by and said what a mess and it was . We were the first customers that day after we ordered we noticed the tables were all dirty and had not been cleaned from the previous day , gross . They do not provide cutlery . Never going back . Food
Simply the best deep fried fish and chips, cod or halibut. Not cheap but worth the cost.
Had the 1pcs cod fish and chips plus poutine had good service friendly people behind counter and kitchen Parking: Parking across street
Best fish and chips in BC !
Good fish and chips , a little awkward eating out of the cones, but all and all we enjoyed our lunch , crispy batter , fish was fresh and firm I give it a
Better than average fish and chips and large portions. As advertised. Recommend for a renowned CR experience.
GF fish and chips tasted delicious everyone was so friendly. 10/10 experience
Large portion of fries with delicious baked salmon! Highly recommended!
Dick s pretty decent, great batter and good fries. Only wish is for bigger pieces
Standard fare
Great fish and chips. Fish was fresh. Beer batter was good. Only problem was a bit on the greasy side. But this was fish and chips!
Thanks for coming
Best fish and chips i had since long time! Reeeeally tasty, soft cod, portion really generous with nice people and service! Family business, i recommand!
This place came highly recommended by a local acquaintance. The food was very good and portion sizes are very generous, but the prices also match the portion sizes. Decor is very basic. Most tables have stacking office chairs, while the owner s table in the corner has leather computer chairs. The staff are very friendly and the owner greets everyone as they come and go. Vegetarian options: There are two salads on the menu. Dietary restrictions: They have hamburgers and salads if fish is not your thing. Parking: Large parking lot across the street which is always close to full. Kid-friendliness: Child-size portions are available. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level and accessible.
Had lunch and it was amazing fish and chips. Loved how its served in a paper cone..easy to walk and eat..great people. We will be back. Halibut was so tasty!
Love this place! Great staff and great food. Even though we got more than enough food (kids sized feeds a small adult just fine), the waitress gave us free coleslaw. Such nice people. Highly recommend!
Best fish and chips ever
We had really good Halibut burger
We dined in tonight. Everything was served hot & fresh, and Ashley & Charles treated us so very well that we wanted to give them a shout out! We had 2 piece halibut (actually a little extra was added) & fries, tried the deep-fried pickles & popcorn shrimp all was amazing & we brought home enough leftovers to make 2+ more meals gives you an idea of the generous portions!! Nothing like showing up for a freshly made, sit-down seafood dinner! Strongly recommend you show up for lunch or dinner here!
My son and I just had the Halibut. The most tender, moist meat paired with the crispiest best seasoned batter I ve experienced in a long time.
Friendly staff, excellent food and service!
Amazing Halibut!
The woman who served me was just so nice and caring. We had 2 piece of cod with fries and slaw. The fish was awesome and so were the home made fries which came in a huge portion. We also had a poutine, which as a Québecor, can say was pretty decent. Lots of cheese curds and just unbeatable fries. The sauce was a beef sauce but what else can you expect from BC poutine? Still awesome!
They are very expensive. However the halibut was some of the best Ive ever had. They also make gluten free batter which I havent seen before. I tried it and it tates pretty darn good.
Hands down bang for your buck, Reminded me of places my parents used to take me when I was a kid Back in the early 70s, Yeah Im a little older whatever. If youre looking for old school fish-and-chips I do not think you will be disappointe. Definitely would recommend and Ill definitely be going back.
Great customer service. The fry chef in the back is a class act! Will be back. Food
Best fish and chips in town! Great food and friendly service
Excellent food. Some of the best fish & chips Ive had in a long time.
First time trying food from the sea and omg was it good , 1000% recommend
Delicious fish and chips, really great, unique atmosphere. Gives off a true feeling of home made independent. Character of campbell river for sure. Parking: Parking is across the street in the wharf parking lot, no parking available in front of the restaurant.
Great service and the salmon fish and chips is a must try. Also is the only place ever that actually gives you enough sauces and napkins. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free fish and chips
Classic fish and chips, with a delicious gluten free batter if you need it!
Fish and Fries, not fish and chips, but decently good.
Good food. Large portions. Great service. Ill be back!
smells really weird in there. very expensive fry s that aren t worth how much they are. will not be coming back. tasted horrible. poor service
Amazing good fast and super friendly Kid-friendliness: If youre kids are hungry its good they will be fine
Its all about the fish and chips here. Really good light battered fish and crispy fries made this our favorite tasting fish and chip place between Horseshoe Bay and Campbell River.
Still best fish n chips around. Portions have been getting smaller though, and never seems to have halibut these days. Parking: Across the street paid parking lot. Stalls at front door now not allowed.
Disgusting food dont eat her you will get food posin my cousin got food posin from ther it so gross and disgusting
The best fish and chips Ive ever had. The batter is so light and crispy. Not greasy at all!
Good food, lots of fries. Fish and zucchinis fried were good. Friendly service. Easy parking across the street.
Awesome. Got a classic cod fish n chips and wow that was great meat was good, more than enough fries for two (one do fish and chips the second do just fish) the tartar sauce is great too! Parking is easy across the street also.
The best Ive had to date
Great food and service and atmosphere.
Good
Fresh and crispy fish. Fast and great service
Above and beyond customer service, strongly recommend stopping in here 10/10
Batter was soggy and terrible and was way to over priced for what we got a side of prawns was about 10$ and we got 4 and they were over cooked would not recommend used to be much better when we were kids
Service is famously family oriented and the food has stayed excellent for decades
SO GOOD! Perfect amount of batter of the fish. Staff was so friendly. Recieved food in reasonable time. Recommended dishes
Delicious fish and a mountain of chips to boot! Cant wait to come back again
The fish could be a bit bigger, my filet was thin. Like the homecut fries. People were great there. Will return for a second visit
Best Gluten free fish I have had yet! The batter is crispy and wonderful. Service great and super friendly. Thank you!!!!
Great place for fish and chips. Must get there early if you want halibut.
Decent fish and chips but an excellent atmosphere with a staff that is one of a kind. Had the cod and a poutine. Fish was good but the batter came out a bit soggy. Chips were done well and the poutine was decent for the west coast. Lots of very potent salty gravy and maybe a hint of a squeak in the cheese. The lady behind the counter is a gem. An older gentleman was cleaning tables and the kitchen was a one woman show as far as I could tell. The way they serve in cones that fit in well worn holes specifically made into the tables is super cool and simple. Its one of those places that makes you feel lucky to be there. Do not go if you expect to be pampered but definitely go if you want that small town, hole in the wall feel even on a bustling tourist day in mid summer.
Dick s is a hole in the wall that offers some awesome fish and chips. Ordered cod and it was crispy and fresh with great sides of coleslaw and tartar sauce. Gravy was a bit food service grade but had good flavour. Can t go wrong with Dick s. Parking: Parking is across the street. Some reserved spots and some free. Make sure you read the signs.
Great food, reasonably priced
Place is not clean
Excellent fish and chip spot! Went with the family the other day and had TONS of food. Definitely get the halibut - so great!
I dont know what happened, but the quality has fallen faster than Joe Biden down a flight of stairs.
The biggest issue is that I went there for 2 family orders of fish and chips, we called over the phone and the lady said they were running low on chips but she would call back in ten minutes to let us know. Then twenty minutes later w no call we tried to call back and the phone was off the hook. So we drove down and waited for another twenty mins to be served, come to find out they ran out of fish, and chips and there was a line out of the door. Other cons: No parking, Very cramped inside, Staff is very rude and hid in the back so they didn t have to deal w customers. Definitely don t recommend.
Not as good as it could ve been. The fries were ok enough, but the fish was VERY greasy, making the batter soggy and not that great. The restaurant was pretty messy overall as well. To top it off, they were out of most things on the menu. Supply constraints are understandable, the rest not so much
Was awesome. We got exactly what we came for, excellent fish and chips! Sweet girls serving too!
Huge portions, fair prices, great ambience. A must for Canada and fish fans
Best fish and chips in town, love the smell of fresh cooked fish and chips Too bad the city cant see past the end of their nose
Really good local spot if you want some fresh fish and chips. I had the 2 pieces of cod and it was plenty of food. Really good fresh fish and a nice light batter fried to perfection.
Halibut and poutine are really good!
Fish and chips! How can you go wrong. Fish was a little greasy and the fries were good. The young woman at the counter was not overly friendly or helpful, maybe she was having a bad day. I would try again.
Great food and service. I had the Halibut and chips. Delightfully old style, served in paper.
Great spot for local fish and chips. Had the two piece halibut, delicious. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is fun. We come at least once every time were on the island.
The best fish and chips. We make sure we come at least once each time we are on the island.
Not like it used to be. Fish was way undercooked and dripping oil. Used to go to old one across the road and it was always good. Hopefully they just had a bad day.
Unreal food there yummy
I recommend the place without hesitation. The portions are generous and the prices adequate. The service was impeccable. The screen door flapping in the wind makes us think we are in a ships cellar. Authentic and friendly.
Always awesome, fresh and hot!
Literally waited 20 minutes in line, and they tell us there is no halibut. No signs. No warning.
So good!!! Bathroom door does not lock, walked in on a lady going to the bathroom. Food
Great food, great portions, great prices!
Excellent, the portions are generous and the staff adorable, I highly recommend!
Really great experience ! We were 5 french people and all of us really enjoy the Salomon fish and chips ! It was really tasty And portions are super generous ! Thanks you so much for your generosity and your kindness !
Best fish n chips ever!
You can t visit Campbell River without trying this Fish & Chips! Highly recommended!
Very fresh seafood and interesting table
It was my first time going for fish and chips.I was not impress with the washroom,I was not clean I seen truck stop cleaner toilet.T From what I heard your place is popular, they must have had not to go.I would suggest to renovate it. Rollande Food
Great food and fun atmosphere for anyone to enjoy Parking: Park directly across the street in the parking lot on the ocean and there is a pedestrian stoplight Food : 5/5 |
One could call it a tourist trap.
Best halibut fish & chips!!
Awesome fish....
fish and chips are very tasty. Great location right across from the water and the wharf.
Have to say best fries in town.. fish was quite oily and a bit soggy.. but not terrible.. the staff could use a dress code.. and the book keeper shouldnt disturb guests with pushy conversation whilst they are eating/visiting with friends.. place could use a good scrub and a fresh looking coat of paint.. it is dingy looking. And yet an old stand bye at times.. must be the fries
The fish was amazing, the lady was kind, the oysters were so bad I almost puked. The malt vinegar tasted watered down, and sea salt for the fries would be better.
New to Campbell River. Delicious healthy inexpensive. Great service!
Fish and chips were great but the restaurant and bathroom were flithy. Jury is out on if we will make a return visit.
What a great find! The fish and chips are great, and the oysters were delicious. We stopped here on our way back from Port McNeill, and it was late when we got there. The tables have holes cut in them, and we didnt know what these were for until the food arrived wrapped in pyramid-shaped newspaper that fits in the hole! This unique lil place is casual and funky, but it left an impression, we were glad we stopped. Here we are, 3 or 4 years later, Ive made it back, and its STILL one of the best impressions and meals weve had here. We arrived near closing, but they still served us graciously and the food is still AWESOME. Recommend to anyone here or passing through, you wont regret it.
Had delicious salmon here. In the Netherlands you could compare the place to a cafeteria with a seating area. Friendly service.
Had heard great things but was disappointed in how greasy everything was. The fish was good other than too greasy, and the service was pretty good despite it being one woman doing everything solo.
Definitely worth driving from Victoria for! Fresh and amazing!! Great service :)
It was definitely one of the best fish & chips I had.
Decent sized portion
2 PC salmon and chips is awesome, gonna miss eating while Im back on the main land
Best place! Amazing taste!
My first Gluten free fish and chip in 10 years! This was the best of the best! They have a different deep fryer to prevent cross contamination! This is one of the only time that Im happy to have celiac disease! I will be back! My first gluten-free fish and chip in 10 years! It was excellent! They have a dedicated gluten-free fryer only to prevent cross-contamination! I havent been happy about having celiac disease for a long time! Ill come back!
Friendly staff, fast service and very delicious food! I ordered one piece of halibut and let me tell you it was very tender and juicy! It was perfect. I took my order for takeout by the water since they didnt have dine in option.
I absolutely love the customer service. The portion of the meal is absolutely the taste absolutely so good so fresh and over what you pay for. My experience has always been really good here I definitely recommend going there. If youre craving fish and chips. I always go for the cod, I seen a picture of their golden retriever and it brought back so many memories when they were on the water. Their dog was so sweet and gentle may she rest in peace.
Best on the island for sure. Still doing it right every time. They also have GLUTEN FREE BATTER
Use to look forward to our visits to Campbell River and Dick s. Covid had put a damper on that. Here s wishing to return to the excellent fish & chips.
We ordered halibut with fries. We ordered the 3 piece halibut and fries with gravy. The order was very small, the halibut overcooked and the tartar sauce was very salty.
Had one piece cod meal with a side of onion rings. Cod was really good.
The burger was great, no issue there. The poutine was clumpy right from the get go. If you get their poutine, be prepared to consider it expensive bird food.
The food was amazing and service was fabulous
If you like seafood this is the place to go. Rations are huge. Quality is awesome. Friendly atmosphere.
Quick and friendly service. Halibut is divine and we got generous portions of the tasty cod with chips. Well be back!
We had dinner here. Huge portions of food. We had the battered salmon, cod and popcorn shrimp with fries and a side of pan fried oysters. Yummy! Staff were super friendly as well.
It started with no parking. Have to go to the parking lot across the street. Had battered oysters and they were so soggy that I had a difficult time eating them. Batter was left behind. You are served in cardboard bowls. No silverware. Plastic forks were on the table. Nice lady brought me a plastic knife when she saw that I couldnt eat it. This should really be a take out fast food place. Chairs and tables are pretty worn out. No table service.
My wife and I didnt really think is was all that good, I did like the deep fried salmon though, there is no parking there
Amazing food service and value for money.
Best fish and chips I ve had in my entire life, thank you!
I had a salmon, a cod and a halibit from this place, it was absolutely delisious, such a tender batter, the best fish and chips in my life
Bad location. Theres no place to park and you walk into this dirty place with run down furniture and old decor. The woman working the counter was very friendly but didnt have a nice appearance. Very expensive for one little piece of bland tasting halibut ( soggy and tasteless) The fries were the same..no taste and soggy. I only went because my elderly client wanted to go. I wouldnt go back by choice.
Alright
Fast and friendly service, comfy fish and chips. I mentioned sitting outside (I was originally planning to just go to a bench nearby) and they promptly set up a table and chairs for me. First time trying fried oysters (Im visiting from a landlocked province). They were delicious and I am glad I had the opportunity to come by.
Get the halibut its excellent.
Me and my family tried the cod and halibut, and both were delicious but it was pretty soggy, I did have it right as it came out. I had the chips that came with it were crispy and soft in the inside. The vinegar on the side made the food even better. We also ordered the poutine and it is definitely one of the best I have ever had. The gravy was salty and savory and the cheese curds were so good. However there werent alot of cheese curds on ours. I should also add the portions are giant. The customer service was very good too, and it was a down to earth restaurant.
Great, friendly atmosphere and some of the best fish n chips Ive had on Vancouver Island
The real frickin deal in CR! 2 piece cod & chips was exactly what I needed after a long day of paddling. The crew working there are all characters and are serious about their product.
Very good fish and chips. Had the cod, they had no halibut that day which apparently is quite common. Fish was perfectly cooked, good sized pieces with the right amount of batter. Staff was friendly, service was good. Ill be back.
I was not impressed with the fish. It was very greasy. The chips were quite good. The restaurant was underwhelming. Parking: The parking is across the highway in a public lot.
Fish and chips were great. Loved how they were presented in a cone that fits perfectly into the holes in their tables. Nice view of the wharf from the window. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the experience and recommend
Great service and food
Super good food very friendly staff
Friendly staff & great service. I am celiac & I cannot get over how delicious the gluten free fish & chips were. Highly recommended!
Not really up to restaurant standards. Expensive ,somewhat greasy. Parking: Lousy.
Customer service was very good. I had the haddock because they were out of halibut. Kinda was really below average. Too much batter. Tartar sauce was meh. Won t go there again. Have eaten fish all over the island and this place is bottom 1/3 for sure for taste and overall quality.
Best fish and chips on the island
Could have been a good experience. We both ordered the much touted fish and chips. The oil was not hot enough and we got 2 plates of a soggy substance. Been in Nfld 2 months now and this wS the lowest.
Over paid for some decent chips but fish was gone in two bites as the rest was crispy batter and a tiny piece of fish. Very disappointed & will buy my Fish & Chips elsewhere in Campbell River.
Wow! Gluten free battered fish that tasted GREAT! I had three pieces of cod, all succulent and delicious! Served up so fast as well. Not so sure about the fries lol. Don t think potatoes have gluten. But regardless, tasted great as well! 5 stars from me! Next time I m in Campbell River, I will definitely go back.
This place is filthy and the owner has two kids running the counter that don t know what s going on. I can t recommend this place at all. Many of the menu items were not available.
We just enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. A fun little stop that makes our visits to Campbell River complete. Watched them fresh cut the fries, season to your own taste. Love the salmon fish - my go to. Best on the coast!
Super busy place with great food and awesome staff, would highly recommend!
Crappie service forgot to give me 1/2 my order so I had to go all the way back, plus the haddock was nasty and the fries were over cooked. I wont ever go back.
Best fish and chips from the Yukon to Campbell River...very good.
Excellent, take the pack for 4.
Food is alright, but the place isnt well taken care of and the staff taking orders didnt seem to know what they were doing. Parking: Parking is not good you have to park across the street by the pier. Which makes for limited parking space.
Nice atmosphere. Great fish. Beer.
The food Is delicious. The staff Is lovely.
Was the best cod fish and chips ive had in town. Will be my only go to now out of the the 4 good places to eat fish and chips.
great fish and chips, right by the wharf and fishing pier, very tasty and reasonably priced.
Just ate there today. Quaint seaside take out with a few indoor and outdoor tables. The hostess is fun and super friendly, and the gluten free fish and chips was the best I ve ever tasted! Hands down. They are very careful and use separate prep and fryer. Absolutely delicious. Great experience!!
Good fish!
Dietary restrictions: They have the Best Gluten Free battered cod !!! Everytime we come up from Victoria BC we stop & get there fish n chips
Not sure why people continue to support this place. The fish is mediocre at best and the fries are so greasy. The batter doesn t stay on as you eat the fish and gets mushy within the first couple of bites. The owner is a miserable old miser who sits in the restaurant every night on his computer doing his books, taking up one of the few tables available. He doesn t thank any of his patrons, help out his staff or even look up most of the time as people come through the door. The floors are dirty, the tables are sticky and the whole place reeks of old frier oil. Not worth it - extremely expensive for subpar service and food - do yourself a favour go to Dockside.
just took out of town guests there. so embarrassed fish greasy small pieces compared to back in the day expensive over $100 to sit down and see family special on the wall away from the menu that was the very same we ordered for $68 and guy at till said oh you should have seen that and I am not giving it to you you pay $107.00! wouldnt have minded that much if place wasnt filthy and food Chinzy and greasy.
Really good fish and chips and the laid back atmosphere is perfect!! Pro tip: We snagged the last piece of salmon (got two cod no problem) at our late lunch, so come early before the fish sells out :)
What a find! The fish and chips, calamari and deep fried pickles were awesome and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Probably best for take out since quite small.
Perfect fish and chips place. The food was delicious! If youre near by this is a must visit place you wont regret it. I also love it that they give you the option to put however much salt you want on your food just in case you dont like putting salt in your food. Salmon was fresh perfect consistency.
Last three times ive been here theres been no halibut . I dont understand it i go to winnipeg to fergies at the forks and they have halibut every time i go but on the west coast cant get any . Ok. Wont be back to see again
Friendly, caring staff. Delicious fish and chips. We would definitely recommend eating here.
Really good fish and chips! The batter is delicious and not too thick, and great that it s gluten-free! The chips are thick cut and don t come salted, which is a huge plus for me, as I don t like a lot of salt. But the most outstanding thing about this place was the people. I ve never felt so welcome and catered to at a seaside take out joint. Thank you for the warm welcome to your community! Will be back for sure! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free batter
The food was really bad chips werent even peeled, fish is extremely soggy. I had two bits then I threw it out. If you want really good fish and chip go to port alberni turtle island fish & chip or bare bone
So good!
They stink up the neighbourhood. They use tail pieces which often turn out dry
