The food was great and the service too. The seafood linguine was awesome. The cup of seafood chowder was delicious, and the steak was very good! All in all great place to eat.
Alvin is amazing with flowers, Ian is so personable and accommodating. This restaurant makes excellent nachos and the bar is a very great convenience for locals and hotel gusts.
The dinner waitress is so friendly and great! The clam chowder is excellent; the quality of the chowder made us excited for the rest of our meal. However, my ribs were dry/overcooked and over seasoned, vegetables were super salty, fish n chips were greasy.
Always great food and servers are excellent 👍 Ian the lounge mgr and staff are very attentive, he even remembers the beverages we like and also the food. Great appetizers, prime rib and fish and chips, soup. You certainly cannot go wrong! Flowers are always beautiful too! 💜
Salmon Burger & Fries were amazing!! Steaks, appetizers, & mains were all so good. They have a scratch kitchen & great service! The head chef came to our table to ensure dietary restrictions were looked after. The patio was a lovely atmosphere. This is the first time we’ve ever been there, and we will return often! I believe the fish was fresh/local and their fries are the best I’ve had in a long while! What a perfectly hidden little gem! And drinks are low-priced! So fun! And so close to the water/marina/park, it’s an ideal dinner place! Thanks Ian & Jarrit! See you again!
Really enjoyed the prime rib meal. It comes with salad or clam chowder and dessert, I had the sticky pudding. Everything was delicious. We bought extra soup to take with us because it was so good. Wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast as well. We would definitely eat here again.
We had a wonderful Christmas dinner here on Christmas Day. Staff were very attentive as well. We were served a huge turkey dinner with both white and dark meat, three kinds of vegetables, mashed potatoes, great cranberry and bread stuffing and gravy. Then we had our choice of 10 different kinds of pie for dessert! All this for $25 each.
Going to school in rented room. Have food from restaurant. School paid , so it was awesome 👍. Can't complain 😊 A year later... return for work. Full service! It was awesome! Food was great , people were awesome. And I seen familiar staff face that made me smile...
The seafood chowder was the best I have ever had. Very filling... should have had a cup tho.
We had hotel breakfast included, quite decent, the sausages were very good and the lady in the kitchen was careful to refill if anything was empty, which I appreciated. The dishes are quite basic but functional, we did not leave hungry, they include fruit, yogurt and banana bread.
I had the best Greek Salad of my life.

Great experience
We had such a good experience tonight. One member of our party has significant dietary restrictions and the chef Jarrit came out personally to chat with her. He made a delicious meal that more than exceeded her expectations. The rest of us had lovely meals, served graciously by our server, Ian. In spite of a toddler spilling and running around the staff and patrons were great sports. Highly recommend this little hidden gem in Campbell River

Food was decent but the two servers were all over the place. We got asked for our order twice and everything was just a bit of a mess. But the servers were both extremely nice and I would definitely give it another try.. may have just been an off day

Had the Friday night prime rib that was great. Couldnt believe it came with clam chowder as an appy and sticky pudding for desert. What a meal.

I hate leaving negative reviews... But the Brewery Sandwich looked amazing in the photo, but its actually just thin soggy bread, soggy lettuce, undercooked bacon and a thin piece of chicken that doesnt even cover the whole sandwich... the brie was completely melted off. I just paid $20 to get catfished by a sandwich. 0/10 accuracy to the picture on the menu.
The coast Discovery inn is a great place to go and eat staff are super friendly and food is amazing. Plus come try the new Amarula Swirl martini. I guarentee you will have to have 2.
Any of the food l got from their kitchen was absolutely terrible. Hotel is nice when we first got here after the apartment building burned down but the food my God was it bad when .

Was not a great night here food or the stay.
Less than impressive. The decor is tired aand dated. The menu is uninspiring and the food (Chicken Penne is this case) was completely mediocre. However, the saving grace and the reason for not getting 1 star is the staff, who are friendly and attentive.
We had a couple of complimentary breakfasts there as part of our hotel stay. It is an above average hotel breakfast buffet .

Ok food. Had the Greek chicken. Was moist and flavourful, nice. The rice had essence of cumin which I didnt feel went well with the Greek dish. The veggies were slathered with butter and soft. Service was friendly and nice.
