Hi...I arrived around 7:50 pm at Fat Burgers on 13th Ave location on Campbell River, BC. I popped my head in the door and against if I was to late to order. Remember it is Campbell River, BC, it is Tuesday, Nov 26, 2024 and the streets are quiet. Hence the reason why I asked. I was told "No problem" "What would you like?" I am 72 years old, this night was " pretty nippy" and I live 1/2 a block from Fat Burgers. Got home, and it was a great treat, a really awesome burger and fries....the 2 guys were awesome, and first class service. I'm at home, with a nice warm, content feeling coming from within...highly recommend Fat Burgers!
Stopped for a quick bite and we were very pleased - you know how you read some poor reviews and go, 'hmmmm'...but the service was great, food was hot, quick, fresh and delicous, and (super important to the gf) the restrooms were very clean. Great experience tho $$$ (but where isn't these days?) and we'll be back again! :)
Purchased one 1/4 pound burger for my friend and a 1/2 pound burger for myself. I was expecting big patties as what fatburger is famous for, however i could have received more meat at Wendys. My 1/2 Pound burger was two regular patties. So basically, we paid $30 for two hamburgers, no fries, no drink, $30.00!! When the economy really starts to get bad I see this company going out of business, no way you can keep customers with prices like that. I left hungry. The next day I went to Wendy’s and got a triple hamburger with fries and drink for less and way more beef that filled me up. I definitely won’t be going back there again. Don’t get me wrong, the girls were nice and I make a good living, but only a fool burns his money.
Placed pick up order. Fries were ice cold, buns were moldy (see pic) chicken strips that were suppose to be big/fat were less than 1" (some of them...not all) Reached out to manager who got upset with me because he had to call me on his day off, then while trying to explain...kept cutting me off. The two girls working were arguing....until my son in law asked them to stop and just get his chocolate milkshake.
Ok, so yesterday, 2 April, I ordered a king fatburger with onion rings. The young lass brings my order to the table, but it has fries instead of rings. I point this out and rather than believe me and apologize, she goes to check the receipt. She returns (with receipt) stating that it "definitely" shows fries were ordered. I reminded her that I had asked if I could get rings vs fries. That was the moment she suddenly remembered me ordering. She gets an order of rings done up but insisted on taking the fries back as "you didn't pay for the fries". Really?!? What are you going to do with the fries? Recycle them to the next customer? I really didn't give two #@*!$ about the fries, but found the whole situation farcical. It must be extremely hard to find good help these days. I love their burgers so I will be back. Also, this would have been 5 stars but for the error.
The food is pretty great I love the Hawaiian Burger , Chicken Tenders which are battered lightly and fresh to order. The milkshakes are probably the best in town especially the Maui. The prices are quite high and if you order a combo beware not to bother ordering a substitute Milkshake for the fountain pop. They don't give you a discount and charge full price for the Milkshake so basically you get one drink and are charged for two . Seems strange especially because the pop has free refills. Portions are big and a 6 piece Chicken Tenders with medium fry was too much for two of us to share. Staff was clueless to the ordering and pricing situation. Small eat in area we usually order ahead and take it home
I was up in Campbell River for business and decided to drop in for a burger between appointments. I hadn't eaten all day so I decided to go big instead of going home and ordered the triple king which, I didn't realize at the time, is actually one and a half pounds of beef. Nevertheless, my delicious burger comprised of three 8 oz patties perfectly cooked to order arrived in about 10 minutes or so as the do not cook them ahead of time here like other fast food restaurants. It came topped with a generous amount of cheese on each patty, fresh tomatoes, fresh lettuce, fresh onions, and delicious pickles with mustard and mayonnaise and I added some ketchup for good measure. It was absolutely phenomenal! The beef was perfectly seasoned, the freshness of the veggies was apparent in every bite, and the cheese to meat to bun ratio was perfect. It's up there with Five Guys for my favorite fast food burger of all time. I'll definitely have to try it a few more times to decide which one I like more.
Excellent attention to detail in the store. Nice hot, fresh food and the cajun curly fries had just the right amount of spice. When the server brought up my food she was so kind to ask if I wanted to ketchup . I could’ve got it myself but she was kind enough to bring two containers from the clean pump dispensary to my table. Very polite staff, great parking and outstanding milkshakes. Every time I turn around some one is cleaning the tables. Very clean and bright environment. Thank you. I have always had a great experience at fat burger and I tell people to go and there s one in Campbell River I m confused why I m reading about bad quality buns and workers confusing up orders and taking fries back c mon man if that was you maybe ask the customer how you can make it right or just say this one s on us we need to be better I always order the double fat and fries
Burger bun was stale, patty was overcooked and dry and fries were cold. Watched my burger and fries sit on the counter getting cold for 10 minutes before they finally bag it and passed it to me. I will never go here again and definitly do not recommend it
I came here with a friend for a sit down meal on February 24 2024. While I was there, I needed to go to the bathroom. On my way, I slipped and hurt my knee. I went to talk to an employee and she informed me that they had just washed the floors. There were no wet floor signs in sight.

No doubt Fatburger has great burgers and I also really like their chicken tenders but the service is so hit or miss.
Brought my daughter in today for a snack and the staff were amazing. They were very kind friendly and my daughter loved it. Great job guys Kid-friendliness: Brought my daughter in today and we did a dine in just to have a snack and honestly a staff were super amazing. Highly recommend

Ordered 4 chicken strips and deep fried pickles and it took 40mins to get our food. 4 people that came after us ordered and were served before we eventually had to take our food to go as my lunch break was finished. Only giving any stars because the food was amazing but the service was awful. Even the person who took our order and went for break a few minutes later got their food before us. Absolutely ridiculous! Will only get food again if I order through their site for pick up as going in and ordering was awful!
The pickles in the burgers make it a unique burger. Great fries too.

Its the same as the other FBs, food is greeeeeheeeeeheeeeaassssyyyyy and its good until 15minutes after and you realize your not 18 and cant eat it anymore.

Burger was good with lots of relish. Fries were nothing special plain cut fries. Shakes were runny to much milk maybe not very thick as I expect from a shake. Service was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Food

We tried to eat here 3x before we decided never again. The waitress at this location always has a stank look on her face whenever we tried to eat here. Never smiled, no manners. Even my kids felt it! Good food can t keep customers when the service is so terrible.
The Chicken Tender Poutine in delicious!
Loud, blaring music played by staff created a horrible atmosphere in the restaurant. Even though I was the days first customer, restaurant was not clean - food and debris left from the previous day. My complaint represents 10 other customers who did not complain. We all tell 10 people = 100 bad reviews. Whoever owns this franchise... you are losing money!

Went in tonight on the 26th and order a crispy chicken meal with poutine and shake. Heard the cook say he was making my sandwich a grilled and went back to confirm my order. They then told me they did not have crispy chicken and it would be grilled. After I paid. You should be letting the customers know your out of something before they pay for it. And to top it off, I asked for a refund and I was refused and told they could not do refunds. I ended leaving without food and money paid. Super displeased, as part of a business in Campbell River I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Ordered on skip the dishes. Messed up the sauces i chose, soggy wings, and missing my side of fries. Very disapointed. I ordered lemon pepper seasoned wings and they were absolutely soaked with the worst lemon juice ever. Any place ive ever been to puts the lemon slice in your order or just uses the seasoning. And no fries!

Huge rant to fat burger! Ordered off Doordash and when our food came it was wrong, missing items, tons of onions (im allergic)and my sons burger bun was so soggy he couldnt eat it. When I called the restaurant they told me there was nothing they could do....this was told to me by the manager Ive worked in the food industry for many years and I have NEVER treated a customer the way I was treated tonight. The young girl I spoke to was extremely rude! I will not be spending my money at thst restaurant ever again! There are way more restaurants here that have awesome customer service, and treat their customers with respect. I dont usually complain but I just couldnt let this one go!
Food was gross , seemed like it was bathed in oil , no flavour the poutine was not great limited gravy an seemed like they only put half a pouch of curds .. The Manager is a joke .
We split the Mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious! A little pricey but easily the best burger in this part of the world...well be back.

The. Food was good and decent wait time. The newly renovated space is somewhat underwhelming. Small. Chairs are really low (table at my chest level). We really enjoyed the Hawaiian milkshake. The Hawaiian burger was good, but boy was it messy.

Slow service, Incorrect order and bad customer service. The old lady with purple bangs was not helpful and rude. She stood around while everyone frantically worked around her. It was a full house in a small area and over half the people were maskless .No safe waiting area for your food, very unorganized. I ended up with cold food that was just sitting there with no call out. Not the best first impression but will try again and hopefully they are better prepared or this will only be a treat when visiting courtenay.

Ordered through skip the dishes. My impossible burger was missing the patty. They wrapped our two other burgers with the wrap inside out so the burger buns were very soggy. We were quite disappointed since we did have their food a few weeks ago and it was very good that time.
Ordered through SkipTheDishes missing our gravy and ranch dip for the wings - food was just okay not anything to write home about. Chicken was dry and overcooked .. Meh
I placed an order online. Everything arrived just fine, but my order of curly fries was way salty, it was impossible to eat them. I called to let them know and they offered to give me a credit. Great customer service - 4 stars only because it would have been better to not have to contact them.
