Very good fish and chips. The wait was a little long but worth it. I loved the view!
Nice restaurant recommended by our hotel for seafood meal. We ordered two appetizer dish, the shrimp skillet and fried oysters, both were delicious! The outdoor seating area had nice waterfront view. Service was good, our food came pretty fast.
Our first visit to this restaurant. We were promptly greeted and asked whether we've preference for indoor or outdoor seating. Love the warm and friendly service. Once seated, servers came promptly with water and menus and started introducing their daily specials. All our orders were served promptly and everything tasted great! 😃 At least 2 different staffs dropped by to enquire if everything was alright during our meal. The tables were well spaced apart and restaurant is well cleaned. Eating alongside seaview is always a nice experience. Great service, great food, and great ambience!
Food is good salad is big portion, a little bit pricy
Had a great experience, friendly service and an excellent salmon. The salmon was served on a plank with maple diijon butter, rice and veggies. Enjoyed a nice day on the patio by the harbor.
What a nice place. My husband and I were very happy to find a place overlooking the water. We started with the cheese breads, and the smoked salmon and goat cheese dip( came with toasted bread) appetizers. Both were really good! For our main course, we both chose the seafood fettuccine. Delicious! I also had a Bellini which was lovely on a hot day. The server was a very friendly young man. Thanks for a lovely 20th anniversary meal.
The table had the Chick N Pickles, Onion Rings, Cedar Plank Salmon, Classic Burger and Caesar Salad. The Chick N Pickles and Burger were pretty good, the Salmon was grilled quite nicely in places on top but not particularly flavoursome in general, the accompanying green beans were good, the rice was an odd addition. Onion rings were breaded and that's all you could really taste. Caesar was average. Window seats give a nice view of the water and the boats nearby. Staff are welcoming and pleasant.
Excellent food & great service. One of the best made Caesars I've had on the island too. Staff was very attentive & food arrived promptly. It's really noisy inside & patio isn't covered so we sat closest to doorway to avoid busier area.
We had a very nice dinner here. Decent prices compared to other similar places. Lovely location.
Really good soup, great veiw ,order at the counter
Calamari is outstanding! So tender and the sauce was a perfect pairing.
We ate lunch during our tour. It was very good, we ate a chicken burger with cheesecake which was excellent. It was a very good meal. Restaurant with a beautiful view of the port.
I had fish and chips it was very good!! It was a very SMALL piece of fish, which was very disappointing as I was hungry.
Quay West has gotten better recently, in my opinion. They have my favorite calamari in CR. The Seafood Hot Pot did lack a bit to be desired for the price (potatoes mixed with seafood are also not my favorite..) otherwise food was great. Required 6 times the original ration of ketchup to get through the fries... everywhere that doesnt provide a bottle of ketchup with an order of french fries needs to realize individual ketchup portions do not constitute a fine dining experience. #bringthebottleback.
Good food, delicious fish!
The grilled salmon and steak are outstanding. The location on the water is great and the service was very attentive and friendly.
Beautiful food, incredible views!! Perfect location and choice as a tourist! What a great experience! HIGHLY recommend!! (Need the service to pick up a bit, must have been 7 servers and 6 tables, and we still waited forever to give our order. This is an easy fix, and the place is wonderful Beyond 5 stars!)
Amazing service. Had 2 seafood dishes, both came with a twist and delicious. Location is by the water with nice view
Had a nice dinner, the food was really good. Friendly service.
Indifferent service staffcould not care Menu limited Insight a bit grim Service : 2/5
Good fish and chips
It was a great place to eat down side the staff seem to be rushed off there feet .had to wait 25 minutes for a seat with a view over the harbour entrance. Booking beforehand a must.
Food is not bad, but the chowder is surprise. Didn t expect what is it
Recommend the salmon, it s really delicious. My son liked the chicken wings a lot. Also the staff is friendly and interested. Food
I had a great table with a beautiful view and really top-notch service. There was a slight issue with my main course which was handled gracefully.
Went out for a Nice dinner with my partner. Our Server was very nice, and the food was good... We ordered the Almost Beef Burger, we thought we both ordered a beef burger with no Bacon. Turns out what we got was a Bean burger? The only thing on the menu that indicated this was the Almost. We felt decieved and confused after this experience, especially since we were still charged for the Beef burger that was supposed to remedy the menu confusion. Wont be going back, or recommending to Family or Friends. A simple thing, that shouldve been right. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are not labeled, we thought we ordered Beef burgers, but instead eneded up with vege burgers, simply because the menu didnt say so.
A tasty and hearty meal I recommend
Came here for my wifes birthday dinner after a full day at Little Huson Caves! Staff and view were excellent. Very attentive and welcoming staff. No issues there at all. However the food was beyond disappointing. I ordered the tequila and lime marinated pork loin scallopine. The menu said it comes with chefs choice of potatoes and veg. Mine came with 5 green beans. I asked for the rest of my meal and got over salted mashed potatoes. The pork was dry and did not taste at all like lime or tequila, it was very salty. The mango chutney was how I was able to choke down this $30 meal. My wife ordered the seafood fettuccine. It was the blandest thing weve both ever tasted. The sauce had 0 flavor and my wife commented that the mashed potatoes were better than her entire meal because at least they had salt. The drinks were good. She got the island breeze and I had the ginger beer. Im not sure if the chef was having a bad day or if the food is always this disappointing, but we did not enjoy or $85 meal. We tipped anyway because the servers were very nice.
I recently visited a restaurant hoping to try some of the items that other customers had been posted on Google. However, most of the items on the menu had been changed, and when I asked the server about them, she informed me that they were no longer available or had been replaced with something else. I also tried the calamari, which was essentially deep-fried and resembled an onion ring served with spicy mayo. It wasnt anything special and was priced at about $18. I wouldnt recommend it at all.
Great food. Good selection. Great cocktaild .Great views. Visited 3 nights in the run . Food : 5/5
Great seafood. The prawn starter was amazing. The fish tacos were a hit and the calamari was perfectly cooked. The only thing I dont recommend is the ceasar salad or the belinnis. They sure know how to cook seafood though. Delicious
Super busy, bland food, and WAY over priced. For a kids chocolate milk 5.00$; a starter salad which was over dressed was 17.00$. It was utterly ridiculous. I dont recommend going here if you want decent food and fair prices.
Had to leave a review because we enjoyed a couple of drinks on the patio and must say that the service was outstanding and the margaritas were some of the best I ve ever had.
Nice service and a nice view. Even though cloudy I enjoyed it.
While I enjoy the food and that s why I continued to order but I have ordered a hand full of times online to pick up and every single time I have to call after placing my order because they re online ordering system doesn t seem to notify them and the last time I had to go into the restaurant after calling 6 times with no answer and not even a simple apology for the lack of diligence. Unfortunately I won t be going back here anymore.
Asked for a dish to be made a certain way due to my dairy allergy and our server said she would check with the kitchen and let me know if this was possible never was told they couldn t and they brought me the dish how it was originally made.very disapointed in thier service to care for customers
Great day to sit on the patio and watch the world go by!
Wound up here Sunday around brunch when our first choice was full - but glad it happened because it was a great lunch!
Good menu and good quality food. Beautiful ambiance with a view of the harbor. The service actively considers dietary requirements.
It started out terrific. The service is fabulous. The view and the table were fabulous. The margaritas were fabulous. The calamari was fabulous and then I was very disappointed in the main course. It wasnt nearly as good as it should have been. It didnt hold up, and it wasnt a very good selection. I had the Mushroom Crepe, which was okay, but it wasnt that creative, and it just was doused in sauce and cheese. As a main course, it would have been better served with appropriate season vegetables not served like a luncheon plate with a small Cesar salad. Boring!! The coconut curry rice bowls were full of slightly under cooked rice and onions and maybe 5 medium-sized prawns. No herbs just sauce from a bag flavour. So it was not the usual Thai spicy flavor. It was quite dull for a coconut curry. So, sadly, the main course was a very big disappointment, which quite frankly made it so that I dont necessarily want to go back there again. Please do better. Everything else is spot on. To be fair, its probably a great place for lunch.
Amazing food, very fresh. Love it. Breathtaking views. And the service is so friendly
Delicious food hot and ready pretty quick
Quick lunch. Fast service, friendly staff and great menu. Will be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp. Food
Great service, delicious food. Will return again!
Great place for Delicious food, adult beverage and watch the boats, my favorite place to go for lunch/dinner in Campbell River
A classic - pricey but great patio!!
Best pulled pork sandwich I ve ever had.
We visited this waterfront restaurant with some friends who live in Campbell River, and they claimed they had better service in their prior visits. We waited over an hour for our meals to be served. I had the Salmon burger and it was tasty if somewhat messy. No one complained about their meals, so I suppose thats good. The price was above average, and while I would like to say you get what you pay for, the prices dont reflect any better taste than less costly establishments. The service was agonizingly slow, and thats unforgivable even if the views are nice. 2024 Update: We revisited The Quay West restaurant again and the service was much better. Our meals were served in a timely fashion and the staff were very friendly and attentive and helpful. I chose the fish tacos this time, and there was not enough fish and way too much cabbage, so the balance was off, but there was a spicy zest that I did really like about them. Everyone else thought their meals were good, so this seems to be an improvement too... Prices were averaging around $20+ per meal and that seems to be fair given the costs of running a restaurant this year. Plenty of free (2 hour) parking near the Quay, and we had a pleasant walk along the waterfront while we waited for our guests to arrive. Very nice to see an establishment improve, although sometimes these reviews can be skewed by something as simple as the popularity of a place overwhelming the staff on shift...
We enjoyed a Valentines dinner here. They had some nice specials for the day. We enjoyed calamari, steak, and seafood bowl. Service was friendly and fast. We enjoy coming here for the view as well. Tonights sunset was lovely to watch.
Great food, great view, reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. Service was wonderful.
Shrimp Cajun skillet was totally awesome
We had the seafood soup, fish tacos and fish and chip for lunch. All were very good as was the service.
Great catering
This place has gone downhill. Ordered the green curry rubbed wings. They were scorched and dry. Skin stuck to the teeth like toffee. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress and was told there was no error in preparation and they were served as intended. Offered no solution. I will not be returning based on this experience.
Good food , great service ......
friendly courteous staff provided quick service. Calamari starter and Fish & chips entree were excellent Food
Great place to eat and drink. The fish & chips here are awesome.
You can get a table here with a great view and tasty food.
Use to be better. Food quality i dident like it . Cezar salat, not enough drecing and 5 $ for tosted baguette to salad a little too much . Wasnt impressed.
Incredible food. Best burger in Campbell River
Just came from lunch. Had a delicious 2 piece fish and chips Generous sizes of fish, and very nice fries. Far far better than I had at a previous visit. Thank you.
Food is delicious, courteous wait staff, spectacular views from the patio and a nice clean restaurant
Out of a lot of adult beverages
Over-priced, small portions of fish and chips that were undercooked and bland, and sandy clams in the ramen. The ramen broth was good though.
Large portions, great views, friendly staff
Very good fish and chips. Beautiful view
The absolute BEST chowder this side of Boston!!! Food prepared by their chef was incredible start to finish. A must if youre in the area!!!
The shrimp tacos were the best we ve ever had! The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The bread pudding, Seafood chowder and Caesar salad were also delicious
Had to ask for menus, service was slow and there was selections that they didnt offer listed on the menu.
Brought our son & family for his 50th birthday. 7 in our party.Very, very disappointed. The service was awful and the food was just ok. Took forever for our drinks and some of the food was cold. No one EVER came to check on us. Yes, needed refills etc. Wont go back.
Didn t get appetizer nor my main dish while everyone else at my table got theirs. Left there disappointed with the service
Beautiful view of the ocean, food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Busy place because its the place to go to eat.
Enjoy your meal Staff very friendly
Quay West catered our backyard wedding last weekend and all our guests and on-site vendors couldnt stop raving about the food (the mac and cheese is UNREAL!) They were extremely flexible with making changes to some dishes to accommodate dietary requirements, as well as substituting the dessert platter. The staff running the dinner service were extremely pleasant and attentive. Our wedding was during an extremely busy time of year and we had to do a lot of communicating about small details in the weeks leading up to the event, but everything ended up working out perfectly! Food was not standing out but just ok. I was a bit disappointed by cleanliness of this place .
The view is great. The food was really good, especially the oysters motoyaki which we had as an appetizer.
Generous portions, with average quality. Attentive service and even a little decisive, at times with little grace. The rest is a worthy place, overlooking the sea, with a nice menu and excellent beers. The choice can also fall on white wines or cocktails. Pay attention to age: in British Columbia, alcohol is served for ages 19 and up. This manager is very attentive to the norm. In the evening it closes at 8pm.
breakfast sandwich was perfectly delicious. pricey at $20 with cheese and bacon expected due to the location. be nice if they had just old school food available as well as the new age stuff though Food
We called ahead about a gluten free menu and were told they have one. When we got there, I was given a gluten free menu, and ordered from it. The manager then came out with a regular menu and told me that they dont cater to special diets, and couldnt make me anything from the GF menu. We left. The VERY least they could have done was comp my husbands drink. Very upsetting, would have never wasted my time if they had been honest. Dietary restrictions: None, not the least bit accomodating
Fish and chips here were amazing Halibut Food
Went for dinner with wife and MIL. Food was outstanding to say the least! Service was fast and prompt. Not a complaint but manager should speak to the staff about hanging around the front gabbing all the time. Very unprofessional, but very young staff too. Our server Martina 190 was very attentive and nice.
Nice for a beer, nice view
The food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and decently priced for the amount you get.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and always enjoyed it. The food was great and the location is amazing. But I was very disappointed when I ate there today. It turns out there were new owners and a new menu. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Pretty basic. The lettuce was crispy and the dressing was just okay but there was virtually no shredded cheese on it. Worst of all the grilled chicken was absolutely tasteless. I drove up from Comox because I wanted to take my cousin visiting from California to a lovely lunch. I m not one to complain about restaurants but I was really disappointed today and unlikely to go back.
Tj was our server, did a wonderful job , good at asking for refills and hosting. We got a beautiful sunny spot on the patio and the food was amazing, great portion sizes!
Our service was great. Food was awesome - halibut fish tacos and seafood clubhouse. Deck has a great view.
Great dish , great view , was a good time
Perfect!
Calamari was the best I ever had!
The menu is outdated and unimaginative, everything is overpriced, even the drinks (almost $8 for a Lucky Lager should tell you all you need to know) and the kitchen seems lazy. I have Celiac and I called ahead to ask about gluten free options and safety measures. I ordered what I was told was a gluten free meal, only to have the manager come out 10 minutes later to tell me that what I had ordered was not gluten free and that I would have to change to a different dish. My wife ordered a chicken salad, and upon its arrival, she proceeded to pull a 10 inch black hair out of it. The staff seemed more annoyed at us for raising the concern rather than being embarrassed about the mishaps. I would absolutely not recommend and definitely won t be back.
Was forced to sit on the lower patio because of my certified service dog, because no pets on the deck. Not only was the lower deck in the shade, but incredibly inaccessible. Dont support a business that doesnt support the disabled.
Great food. Excellent service. And I could have my dog with me on the patio.
Over priced, I had the Cajun Halibut. For $38 you think they would serve you more.
Love this place, food good, staff good, ocean views. Perfect.
Used to go here quite often a few years ago and was very disappointed in the food considering their price point. Their menu has completely changed and the food was not very good. Will never go again.
The venue could use an update and the menu needs to be refreshed. My most recent experience: purchased lunch and a flight of wine. It was my first time out as a new mom, and my lunch was incorrect and I knocked over one of my 2oz pours of wine. I asked if I could pay to replace it, and the manager said Id need to buy an entire glass. Having worked in restaurants, I know that he could have given me another 2oz and charged me whatever he wanted (I was happy to pay). On top of that, my quesadilla that was on special was cold. Will not return.
The best restaurant in the area with very good food. We were there several times. The menu is small and could change from time to time (more variety). Great view and central. Vegetarian options: Dishes very good and tasty
Us foodies were looking for something different in Campbell River, and I think we found the place! Started it off with the best calamari Ive ever had. Super juicy and seasoned to perfection. The seafood chowder was AMAZING! A unique spin on the classic we are all used to. My partner and I each had a pulled pork sandwich. They were the BEST! Great flavor, sauciness and carmelization! Tastes like home... but better! They didnt skimp on the quality. Thank you for best meal Ive had in Campbell River. We will return!
I love all the food that we order. Tasty and right price. There was a line up when we came. Not everyone can get the ocean view due to distancing. But the restaurant look so lovely, thus, seating anywhere is not a problem. The ambiance of the restaurant is so calm. The staff who us assisted is so nice, friendly, and welcoming. Their food were all serve hot and really delicious for me. We will be back definitely next time.
AMAZING food and wonderful people working there! Hands down one of the best salads Ive ever had. And cant beat eating a meal with a view like theirs! <3
Favourite restaurant in Campbell river without a doubt! Food is delicious, service is always good as well.
Good service..great food...little expensive ..
Great food and service. Views too
Great service, excellent food. Seafood nachos and fish & chips!
Happy to be here and appreciated the view and the fantastic food.
Amazing food and great service!
Great food and delicious cocktails! David our server was so fun and engaging! Highly recommend the fish nachos!!!
First class view. Good food and service.
The calamari was excellent, with a spice kick. Wife enjoyed the pulled pork and mango curry wrap. Yam fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Server was very friendly.
Really good food. Good service. Bit pricey, but thats the cost of good food and views.
Don t hold your breath about the catering services. I m sure the food is great but the planning is a disaster. We were from out of town planning for a wedding and came to the island to meet with the catering crew only to be blown off and the restaurant closed, thankfully the co-owner was around and she was great. Went weeks without hearing back about questions we had only to be told sorry we can t do it after initially saying it wouldn t be an issue and here s the price for an out of town event. Again another week after I ll get back to you tomorrow we had already on moved on an found someone that s actually a professional and treats clients the way they should be for the amount being paid for catering
Great place to eat. One of the best views in Campbell River.
A good lunch, wonderful views and super staff.
Good food, great location.
Any restaurant that Marc and Deb create, is a place I wanna eat at. Excellent customer service and delicious food enjoyed in a beautiful setting. Is there anything else you could possibly need!
If I could leave zero stars, I would. Horrible service. Hostess sat us down right away. But waited for 25 minutes and no one greeted us at our table. Waiter walked past us many times and ignored us. We asked hostess for our waiter, but he never came. Ended up leaving the restaurant.
So yummy!! Loved the seafood chowder. Coconut milk made it so delicious The kids burgers were amazing and the poke pachos were superb. Next time we are in Campbell River we will definitely go back!
By far the best meal and service that we have had in Campbell River to date! We had the Prawn Roll, Cajun Prawn Skillet and Halibut & Chips. Everything was cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. Haley did a terrific job at greeting & seating us and Garret was the best waiter service we have ever had, handsome too ;)
We had a fabulous dinner, the food, drinks and dessert were awesome with great service. highly recommend this restaurant.
Prices are awfully high for the food you get. 27 bucks for a cheesesteak sandwich! Obviously you are paying for the view which is lovely.
I think they have the best Calamari ever! Parking: Parking was limited.
We went there for our 65th wedding anniversary and found the staff to be not overly friendly just very business like. We told the waiter it was a special night for us but it obviously meant nothing. As to our meal the sea food linguini was very good but my husbands fish and chips were terrible . The fish was mostly batter and very dry the fries were all ends and burnt. Sorry to say we will never go back. And we live in Campbell River.
Went in for a special occasion. It was our 65 th wedding anniversary. After I told the waiter that it was special for us he looked bored and didn t even say congratulations just said are you ready to order in a rather monotone voice. Part way thru the service we needed another beverage but had to ask one of the other waiters to get it. The food came and my wife s was very good but I had halibut and fry s. The fish was small and way overdone and the fries were all short ends and burnt. I was not impressed with the whole evening and as we live here I will never go back. Too bad
4 stars only because a 5 star rating requires something extrodinarily outstanding or unexpected in a positive way. Service was kind and attentive Small menu but the items we had (steak on ciabata for me, cooked to the requested medium rare). Great view of the strait from the windows. Nice modern interior without the kitschy decorations found at many waterside locations. Overall price including two drinks was fair. We thought it was one of the two best restaurants in Campbell River.
Excellent food. Beautiful restaurant by the ocean. Service Excellent. He (forgot his name!!) Who helped us with our order...Was very nice with the kids... Patient... And happy! We will certainly come back!! Thank you!!!
Good front of house staff. The kitchen seems to be struggling to deliver on what looks a very interesting menu.
We were there on a Thursday at 1 p.m. and the restaurant was closed! No reference on Google or at the restaurant.
Very friendly service Great
Lovely restaurant, the view of the quay and Quadra island is fantastic, and the service is friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back!
Service was underful. Both fish dishes was very tasty the fish & chips and the salmon (although it was small piece of salmon). The view was also very nice.
Service was kinda bad in my opinion, I had told them there was no hand soup in men washroom, I think the kitchen was laughing at me for tell them about no hand soup in mens washroom. I order an ice tea to drink excepting it to come right away, waiting until I got my food then drink came, I have never seen restaurants to that. But the food was good. I think I would need to try again to determine if it s worth my money.
We were expecting a little better with regards to the quality of the food. Although tasty, it just wasnt prepared with enough attention. I had the chicken cordon-blue and it was a bit overcooked. Yet the vegetables were lukewarm. My wife had the Cajun shrimp linguini. The shrimp were also overcooked and the linguini was a bit dry. Staff were attentive and friendly and the veiw is great. Oceanside. Gor the cost, it just needs to be better.
All I can say Bad mother Bleeper.Errrrrr!
Very friendly service and good fish n chips
Went tonight, first time since new owners took over. We were all very impressed, food was really tasty and flavourful, could tell it was made with lots of care and attention. Will definitely go again should have taken pictures, had stuffed Yorkies, miso soup bowl, jambalaya, and more, excellent
Incredible service Food was fantastic Food
The calamari appetizer was good. Good flavor and texture, a little greasier than I was expecting but still very good. I would order this again. Prawn and lobster mac and cheese was a large serving. Needed more chunks of lobster. A side of garlic bread or something to dip would have been good. The dish was a little dry. It was good, might order this again. The fish and chips, the chips were just regular fries, not bad, but nothing special. Two good size pieces of fish, one was good, the other had too much batter. I would not order this again. A little on the too greasy side for me. Very nice place to sit by the water. I will return and try something different on the menu. The patio was closed, looks like it would be a nice place to be on a sunny day, I was there at night.
Lovely place to eat and great view of the harbor!
Great food and service!
The lobster prawn roll is absolutely delicious! Everything we have ordered has been superb !
Nice view. Friendly staff. I was hoping for a salmon burger but they took it off the menu. No wow factor. The food was run of the mill, good quality, but nothing special.
-service lovily -atmosphere beautiful -food fabulous
Great food and service. Shrimp skillet is the best I had in North America. Very close to Meditereanian style. Calamari is perfect. Seafood crepes is very delicious. Great view to the marina and ocean.
Delicious food. Excellent service. A bit pricey, but thats the price you pay for a good meal.
Super tasty!!!
ALMOST FAMOUS! + Attentive Service + Phenomenal View + Enchanting Fun Bar Menu + Dog Allowed outside the Grass area rope + Food Spiced and Cooked and Presentation Sublime + Ordered Stuffed Yorkie & Snapper Dishes + Fair pricing + Romantic getaway venue + Server Samantha respected privacy - Food gets super cold fast in windy grass area - Crab Cakes Super Fishy - Lukewarm tasteless coffee - Non-heated plates SO CLOSE TO PERFECTION! 100% We will be back!
Great service and location. Menu could use some updating, but overall good food.
Great view! Chowder had a little kick, which most place s nowadays are afraid of. Service was good. Worth a visit.
Red Snapper was good.
Nice view. Food was good. Nice place to have dinner with friends.
Service was topnotch as well as the food. Overall was a very pleasant dining experience
Great views. Even though they had lots of servers, service was slow at a lunch time visit. Had to flag her down to get a 2nd beer and desert. Had to flag her down again to get the bill. The food was tasty.
Really delicious food and a very nice balcony.
Was super excited to eat here for my birthday dinner while staying at the resort up the street (amaaaaazzzing by the way def recommend Dolphin Resort) too bad the service was so horrible. We arrived right before 545pm and were seated in the dog friendly area (only reason I give it 2 stars is because of them being dog friendly otherwise would be 1 star). We watched and waited while other people were seated and given menus, water etc. 20min or so min go by and finally a host comes by and says oh you dont have menus then goes back inside. By the time she came back with menus I was so frustrated we said thank you and left. Too bad as the weather was warm and we would have definitely enjoyed a couple cold bottles of white. No matter how good the food is at a place all it takes is bad service to kill the experience. Very disappointed.
Great food, great service and great view. What else do you need?
Great meal and service! Patio was a little windy but tolerable, had to be careful or things could blow away !
Great service, great food, great views. Three g ssss
Incredible in every way
6 in front staff, 3 in back ,two tables in service 6 potential customers crammed into waiting area in front and not one staff member communicating with any of us except when we mentioned that we weren t sure what was happening as we watch some of the staff mulling around we were told oh I know . Hahaha . We left. And went to Moxies where we had a great meal and amazing service
great view, and patio beside ocean. main food I had was tasty, soup was just warm temp and it was just ok.
Sat on the outside patio in front of fishing boats . They allowed my dog to stay besideme in shade and brought water out for her . Loved the 2 piece fish and chips
Great food, lovely patio!
Good service, lovely views and food (never have I gotten a salad AND fries with my chicken strips ). Beer is a bit pricey, but oh well the view made up for it.
Awesome view, great food, good service but very pricey.
Most horrible service! Ignored for at least over five minutes. Host took phone reservation in front of me knowing I was waiting for some time. Continued to be condescending and rude when taking down name. Avoid at all cost.
Coming back from a trip to Quadra Island, my friend and I were looking for a place to grab some lunch. This restaurant was probably one of the only restaurants that was open on BC Day. I ordered the shrimp and lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious. It comes with your choice of salad or fries and I chose the salad. The roll was filling although a little difficult to eat without the shrimp dropping out of the roll and the salad was a good sized serving. Overall a delicious meal and its nice to sit out on the patio overlooking the water. It can be quite cold though when sitting in the shade, even on a hot day.
The grill Humboldt squid with the salad is a must try. Excellent service and good food.
Great food. Nice view of marina
The food here is delicious. The calamari is the best Ive eaten and Ive eaten a lot of it. My 3 year old girl just shoveled it in her. Four in our party and everyone thought the food was good. Desserts are to die for. Id go back to this place in a heartbeat. I highly recommend
Delicious seafood chowder. The calamari are to die for! Super friendly staff!
Yummy. That warm seafood Cesar salad was very yummy. Best food of the trip so far! The service was exceptional which really added to the whole experience. Quay west more like quay best!
Ordered steak sandwich, sooo salty it was not edible. Ceasar salad soggy in wet sauce. Two bites of each, the rest was left on plate. No discount of any kind. If I could give no stars I would. Wont be returning to this place. Server was very inexperienced.
Nice view
Food was good. Service was good. Restaurant was really loud.
Love it here, great atmosphere and great new patio renos.
Awesome place, refined and yet casual. Efficient and thoughtful waiters and waitresses, you gonna have a great time here. The lobster+shrimp roll are super tasty.
Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Great view too.
The view on the patio overlooking the harbour was perfect. I had the seafood chowder and toasted focaccia bread which were both delicious. My wife had the lobster and shrimp roll with a house salad - these were both equally fantastic. The lobster roll had a bacon strip in it with abundant shrimp and lobster and arugula. It was especially delicious. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant. Visited it twice, both time with same friend. First time I have ordered sandwitch with steak and my friend fish&chips. Both meals were filling, with good price and extremally tasty. So tasty, that my friend described fish&chips as best he has ever eaten, and that was reason for coming there back again. Second time I have ordered deep fry chicken wings in sweet-chilli sauce and I received more than I could eat. Staff was also really friendly and efficent on both of the visits. I will recommend this place to any friend who will be visiting Campbell.
Good food, huge servings, best fish tacos, friendly service, good views, good value for the money.
Waterfront view and great service. The tuna rocket salad was bland and had no taste, we had to ask for more dressing to add some flavour. The seafood chowder was the same, not much flavour so used pepper from the smallest pepper shaker I have ever seen. Fish tacos were good. Took off one star for the salad and one for the chowder. We were there Saturday about 2:00 PM and only two other tables had people.
Fish and chips were good
I loved the shrimp and lobster rag... the courteous and fast service.
Great food and great service.
