I had one of the best cocktails I ve had in a while - the Salal Sour. It was perfectly balanced and refreshing. We shared the Mexican Street Corn pizza and it was unique and delicious. Our server was so kind and the vibe was great.

We ordered take out.. the feta dip, meatballs, walnut sausage pizza, and meat lover pizza. The feta dip was awesome, meatballs were not that great very dry, pizzas were tasty but very chewy, hard to cut with a knife. Staff experience was awsome.. just the food fell a little short

Amazing Pizzas

Spending a weekend in Campbell river and needed to find a good restaurant that also had gluten-free options. This was an unexpected gem with an unassuming shopfront on the highway, but once we went inside it was a warm and welcoming place with a lot of charm. The food was extremely fresh and lots of choice for our gluten-free companion - dishes that were naturally gluten-free and those that could be made gluten-free on request. Our server was very friendly and helpful and our food delicious - extremely large pizzas, so unless you are hungry, one will easily feed two people!

Hands down the best nachos on the planet. (Well, I m from Australia so it feels worthy of a planetary mention!)

Their Tuscan feta dip & tuna poke + guac appies were excellent. I also tried the Walnut sausage and Mexican street corn pizzas; honestly was some of the best pizza I ve had. I wasn t drinking, but their mocktails (I had the Paloma & Lavender Lemonade) were also excellent. 5 stars across the board!! Worth the price. Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian pizzas are savoury and delicious.

Friendly customer service and delicious food! The Tuscan Feta dip and Salad Roll in a Bowl were SO yummy. The only thing that could possibly make the Salad Roll in a Bowl a bit better is a lime wedge :) Definitely one of the best spots to eat in Campbell River!

Well ordered Walnut Chorizo pizza but I was shocked and confused when got the pizza. Big cloves of garlic and barely could find walnuts and chorizo. For a second thought is it a mistake or did I order a vegetarian pizza. Pizza dough looked very pasty and no brown crust at all.

Phenomenal selection of quality local beer. My go - to for trying the amazing selection of island product that is out there. Outstanding pizza and other menu items always goes great with a cold one. I ve always been more than pleased with the consistent service here as well.

Lovely open space. If you want pizza, this is the place to go. The rest of the menu is limited. Food was delicious. We loved the chocolate chip baked cookie dessert.

Had Mexican street corn pizza and it was great!!

I visited this place last week while in Campbell River. Loved it, good beers and the food was super solid pub fare.

So in fairness, I cannot comment on the food, because we weren t able to acquire any ! Came in around 7 on a Saturday night and were told by what we assumed was a manager that they had an event that evening - a comedy show. Great - any tickets available ? He wasn t sure. We asked are you sold out? And he replied as far as I know . How the manager wouldn t know if they were sold out is hard to fathom. So we tried to ordering a pizza - which he originally said was going to be acceptable. Alas, the kind of pizza we ordered would take too long we were told, so, after all that, we were out of luck. Would have been far simpler to have said, I m so sorry, we are closed Might be a great place, but the customer relations on this night was terrible.

I am so happy that Session is in our community. It is one of very few places locally where we can bring our entire family and every single one of us can find something on the menu that we not only enjoy, we love and look forward to going back for again! We are a family of five and have picky eaters, three of us have significant food allergies, and we have never, ever had a disappointing meal. The food is always fresh, creative, delicious, and the portions are beyond substantially filling. We constantly get drawn in by the ever changing options provided that we see on Instagram. As a Chef myself, I love knowing I can go there, have a 10/10 experience every single time, and I dont have to eat for the remainder of the day. The service staff and Chefs are super friendly and accommodating too! The atmosphere is casual but comfortable, unpretentious, the place is squeaky clean, cozy and an added bonus is that for a small space it isnt noisy! I love this place, and my family does too. If you get the opportunity to try the Ramen do it, and ask for a little extra spice if you like some heat. Pizzas are incredible and leftovers reheat nicely if you cannot finish, do get a dip, the truffle one is so over the top good. And nachos, they are crispy and tasty and unlike the soggy boring pub style, these ones are a treat to indulge in and every chip is covered in goodness, and if you cannot finish them and have to take them home, they remain crispy for hours. Dont even get me started on the skillet meatballs, whatever type they are currently offering is a mandatory selection for the table to get started. Dietary restrictions: Lots of available options for dietary restrictions, and as a guest who enjoys sitting at the bar or hightop across from the bar, the kitchen is highly visible and I enjoy seeing the kitchen crew conduct their business with efficacy and patron safety being a top priority. Kid-friendliness: Our kids love it at Session and when they are asked where they want to it, it is their first choice. The kids menu is great, there are lots of great seating options regardless of ages, and they have colouring equipment too. Oh, did I mention wifi that doesnt cut out? Bring Nintendo Switch, shhhhhh.... Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair and a variety of seating options are available for people with any kind of disability.

I recently dined Session Taproom + Kitchen, and I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was exceptional. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoy the Ramen. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Nothing special for expensive food. Our server was terrible, she was too busy talking to a co worker. I had to ask 3 times for my drink and bill. It was not busy and it felt slow. The server never came to ask how our food was or if we needed anything as she continued to chat with a co worker. Not likely to go back as we were really disappointed.

Great food and tap list. Horrible service. Literally had to stand up and wave down our server any time we wanted anything. They dropped off drinks and immediately turned away from us to roll silverware behind the bar while looking the other way. Took 30 min before we could get our food order in. It wasn t busy, they were either super burned out or just weren t good at their jobs. Table next to us left because they couldn t get anyone s attention. So disappointed, we really enjoyed our last time in here. Edit: looking through other reviews, there is a clear trend for horrible service. To whoever the manager is responding to all the negative reviews about service, I was in on the evening of 6/11. You have at least a couple staff that need a lot of coaching.

Had a flight of 4 for $12 and all were delicious. Wife had some sort of non alcoholic lavender drink and she loved it. Sitting by the road and overlooking the ocean. Nice Had the brie and balsamic onions. Small, but a winner. Just ordered another beer unit and the meatballs. Really enjoying myself

11 Beers on Tap. A good variety of different brewers. A rotating cider tap. Hard liquor also. Outside sitting on the main drag can get traffic noisy but great for watch a variety of vehicles go buy. From Hot rods to RV. Saw an American RV hauling his personal Helicopter. Menu made to please. Pizzas the thin crust variety. Has a couple of tvs over the bar. Happy hour 3-5 weekdays, {see my photos for pricing} Oh my, the washroom. Real towels to dry your hands. How great is that. Now if someone would open another in the Saratoga area, the would be a nice cruise with stops.

I went their first of all got wrong order as ordered vegetarian, we were served non-vegetarian food afterwards i ordered non-alcoholic drink then i got alcoholic drink from them BY MISTAKE . And now I am all sick and vomiting by eating their bowl. Please don t ever visit.

Amazing Pizza

Best food in town in my opinion. Pizzas are super awesome and good value - my favourite was the Wal-not pizza (which is vegetarian but you wouldn t know). Great choice of beers as well - everything a beer lover would want plus a couple ciders too. Staff are super friendly as well. Also, my wife is coeliac and she was able to get the GF pizza with no reaction which is rare! Also the salads are GF too so pretty much everyone is happy. Vegetarian options: Great options!

Sessions was a great find. We were in town for a whale and bear tour for our honeymoon and stumbled upon it. The cocktails were wonderful, the Old Fashioned was my favorite ever. My wife loved her Sangria and Strawberry Margarita. The pizza was phenomenal, we got the meat lovers. We loved this place so much we came back a second time after Orca Camp. The staff was super friendly.

A very chill and unpretentious restaurant with indoor and patio seating options. The decor was simple, with amazing and quick service and very attentive servers.We ordered Strawberry Sour beer, Marina-mild beer,and the Wal-not Sausage vegetarian pizza. Everything tasted really great and I will be back again when in Campbell River. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for appetizers,bowls and pizzas.

Just had dinner here after riding from Nanaimo so we came with a big appetite. Everything was delicious. Great fish tacos and the meatballs with naan were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Went in to eat, started with the baked brie and chorizo meatballs as an appetizer and got the piggy pizza and chorizo for main course. Food was exceptional and service was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the view from the patio was especially nice. Great place for vegan and gluten free options too, would definitely come again

Good food and great beer

We were in from Calgary and my daughter in law strongly recommended this restaurant. All of our dishes had a high level of uniqueness and were very tasty. The Kale Caesar was one of the best ever. Nice people with great service to boot.

Honestly was an interesting experience. I praise the ownership for offering a full sized gluten free pizza for a $5 price tag. The Italian sausage pizza was delicious. The service was sub par. Our server came back several times about our gluten free pizza. It also took close to 40 minutes while other guests received their food even though they had ordered after us. The bartender looked so angry the entire time and the other server was a space cadet breathing all over the food in the window. The 2 servers were rolling cutlery while food sat in the window. Just oblivious to the kitchens work. Considering the kitchen actually cared about my spouses allergy and were the only reason those initial come backs from the server even happened, that irked me. The pizza is fantastic but maybe order take out. That way you can avoid the disorganized mess out front.

We ve tried to come back to this place many times, as the beer selection is fantastic, but we are always greeted with a service who looks and acts like she can t stand her job , or serving people very very offputting for such a great space

Great place: we ordered and shared the Tropic like its Hot pizza, a cappuccino, pineapple juice and the featuring cheesecake with peach and walnut and vanilla whipped cream. It was very very tasty: fresh products and creative receipes. The staff was professional and very kind and the atmosphere and music were relaxed and just right for a cosy evening together. Next time we come back we will try the beer tasting!

Lively place, nice for a casual eat. Great service, excellent choice of Pizza, including for vegetarians. Portions are big so you might want to share the pizza. Gave it four stars because the hummus starter needed more olive oil, but it came with crunchy chick peas and homemade pita chips which were amazing.

Cool location in a sleepy village. Theres always a lot going on here, the staff is funny and on the ball. The food tasted great, the pizza was very crispy and fresh, and the salads can also be recommended. There is something for every beer taste. Stylish location too

The food was delicious but I feel like chicken could be warm for cucumbers mint quinoa bowl. The cheesecake was one of best cheesecake I have had. I found the services a little slow but the stuff where extremely friendly. I would check it out again.

Too be honest, I had a great experience a year ago here this time we had a friendly server, but sadly our order was ruined due to a basic exclusion being ignored I understand it might have been a long day but no compensation at the end. Apparently the chef had left already so I never had a chance to have dinner and still was given a bill by a new waitress (possible manager) with a terrible attitude. Definitely will not return Also witnessed them throw said untouched pizza in the trash. Come on now

I just stopped in with a friend to have a beer, so I cant say anything about the food. The service was good. We didnt wait at all for our drinks and the employees were pleasant. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming. I know Ill be back to properly experience The food and drinks.
