popped in the other night, never been there prior, food was great and the service good. Will be back. Parking: Plenty of parking right at the front door.

I ordered 2 lobster tacos and unfortunately it was so bad I couldn t eat it.. I asked the girl if there was even any lobster in it? and she said it s a mixture of fish .. no lobster so I left but then I later contacted the company and asked for my money back .. I never do that but this was really not good.. but no one got back to me so I guess that s my last visit

The food was okay, but the amount of tater tots you get for the price is almost criminal; potatoes are one of the cheapest foods, and you get maybe 8 tots. Thats 50 cents per tot. I wouldnt order that side again.

Crispy whitefish was cold, soggy, and tasted like old fryer oil. The ingredient quality has really declined over the past few years and prices have increased. That asada place in town is a far better choice.

first time ever ordering from here, so possibly my fault for not understanding the menu term meal kit I didnt realize that it was Ikea Del Mar. Was expecting a really nice plate presentation of nachos, not a DIY order. Plastic freezer bags used for the chips...not so sure about this overall..

I have eaten at taco Delmar a hundred times on the mainland. I was in Campbell river recently and it was a no brainer to have lunch there. Ordered a mondo burrito and they were so skimpy on meat and toppings that I will not be back. Its supposed to be a mondo not a mini

We ve always loved taco del mar for a quick bite but the service in this restaurant is what made it special. The woman who served the food was so kind and caring (we d had a vehicle breakdown) and really made the day much better. Can t thank them enough and the food was delicious!

I felt it wasnt such a great place to work. I was not well served, my food was not fully cooked, so I gave her a nice tip. This was a nice surprise for her. Glad someone could make her smile.

Unfortunately it was just pretty bland.

Inconsistent in quality and price

My favourite fast food is Taco Del Mar in White Rick BC. However, we qwere passing through Campbell River & each got our usual burrito. Our first & last at this location. The chicken was ice cold, large yucky tasting onion chunks, everything tasted watered down, hardly any rice. We both felt like throwing up after. Needed to repeat our order again and again. Yuck!

Highly impressed with service. Visit yesterday to have burritos after my shift near bout 7:45pm seems very busy at that moment. Two very nice and polite girls were working very hard. The store was neat and clean. Burritos were wrapped nicely and too yummie. Thanks guys for great service. Really appreciated. Will visit again for best burritos.

Used to be much better. Chicken had a bone in it. Lacks flavour and never feel great after eating.

The service was excellent although communication was at times difficult due to masks worn by people serving us. I am in agreement and happy that all service providers are wearing masks although it may make their jobs more difficult. Now to the nitty gritty...there was not enough of the special to serve my friend and me both the one and only table was dirty the food flavour less. Disappointed.

I came in here right before closing time and was expecting staff to be grumpy for customers walking in so late but the girl was the complete opposite. She was welcoming and so nice and lovely! Manpreet I believe her name was. First time there, burrito was great, vegan options for vegheads like me, will be back! Great customer service.

Shrimp wraps need to be warmed. I need to try some sauces on it. I was impressed with how nice the outdoor patio looks.

Its fast food Mexican. God sized portions. Food tastes good and restaurant is clean.

Had the big burrito and the small burrito. One chicken and one beef and enjoyed both. Would go there again. Staff were fast and friendly, she gave great suggestions.

Came in 10 min after opening. Floor sticky, tables sticky (not wiped with a wet cloth),all around soda, utensil area not clean. Second time it has been this way. . Makes me suspect of quality of food prep. Disappointed to say I will not return. * Pleasant servers.

Just ate here. Using their WiFi to review. It was a disappointment. The chips were burnt and tasted horrible, not finishing them. The wrap wasnt wrapped properly. And $3 for guacamole is ridiculous, plus $3 for a little scoop of extra cheese... Also, we had to pick the cleanest of the 3 big dirty tables. I travel from Courtenay to CR and stop here, but not anymore.

I love Taco Del Mar. Almost everything is delicious. The chicken tastes a little processed but everything else is great.

Great place if you are gluten free they have a corn only soft taco but you have to ask for it.

Love the tacos. My mom had a couple soft corn tacos with shrimp, which she enjoyed it totally, she gave it a 5/5 and I had 3 hard shelled tacos with ground beef which was just as delicious and I will be going back there whenever I have a craving for delicious tacos. Thank you so very much

Have loved this place in the past. One of my fav places. But, just visited today, 02/01/19. Very dissappointed. The burritos used to be so big and tasty and SO MUCH CHEAPER. Today they tasted so blah even with the pico and habanaro. Used to come here at least once a month from the Comox Valley Now we live in CR and dont think we will return. $9.90 for a burrito is rediculous. Sorry.

I had gone to the Campbell River Taco del Mar three times. The first time the counter fellow swiped the remains of the last order off the counter onto the floor. He said he would clean it up later. The lack of hygiene worried me. Every time I went in there the person behind the counter asked me what was I charged for the food last time? The lack of consistency really bothered me. The food was alright but there was no consistent pricing policy. They need to have a consistent business plan so the customer knows what they are ordering. There is a strong sense of lack of training. With the disappointing experience I had, I will not return.

The blonde employee was definitely a CUTIE. Good humour, great hair and excellent service!! This CUTIE made the experience fresh, definitely coming back!

I have been coming to Taco Del Mar for years and it has continued to decrease in value, service and my expectations are beginning to drop. I am saddened by this trend as I always hear enjoyed Taco Del Mar. I hope the new owners smarten up or this location will close.

Not too impressed with the staff, she seemed like it was a bother to have us in the store, would grab some items and as she was about to put them on, then ask me if I wanted that product, then slops it all in the middle if I did, not making any effort to spread the portions evenly, by the time she had wrapped it, I had paid then sat down in the resteraunt to eat my burrito was already soaking wet and falling apart. It was literally just a big soggy ball of mess. 2 stars because even though my s/o had 3 hardshell tacos that he had to eat with a spoon, he still enjoyed them.

The Staff were cheerful and willing to help with any questions! Accommodated any personal request! The food/quality was excellent and Soo tasty!! Value/price per portions was Great!!
