This place has so much potential but the lighting in there is awful, no ambience at all.

Beautiful place to meet friends and play games, enjoy food, shop for books you name it! EPIC selection of both kids and adult board games. Very friendly and welcoming and we easily could have spent much longer here! We will be back!

The best cafe in town for sure. We drive there from Tofield regularly, which is about 35 minutes away. Worth it.

Great little board game cafe. Selection of games was pretty good, each game was labeled with a difficulty level, so determining a game for our groups mood was made easy. Unfortunately,we chose battleship tournament night to go try some games, so it was a bit busy (and loud); other than that, great place to hang out with friends.

We love this awesome hangout. Food is amazing, drinks are amazing, atmosphere is amazing. We also had our son s 12 year old birthday party here recently and it was a HUGE hit! F&F is such a gem to have in our little city.

my new favorite coffee shop. im surprised it was not busy. they have a lot of free to read books, lots of boardgames (cheap per person 3-5$), a food menu, beer, and really tasty cookies.

My first impression of this store was great to begin with, the staff was very helpful I was looking for a particular card game and they only carried only one particular set of the many that exist so I asked if I could order others through them. They was more then happy to oblige and even printed out a copy of the catalog that were available to choose from. My sons and I picked a pack of the one we wanted and asked if they could mail it to me since I do not live in Camrose and dont come to town often and I was willing to pay extra fees if it ment paying them for this service. They told me since I live just in Forestburg it wasnt necessary and they was more then happy to do so. I also asked if I could pre-pay for the game as I was already there that was also not a problem. I gave them my name and adress along with my phone number in case of any problems or delays. I also asked for a time frame on how long I can expect it would take for my game to arrive I was expecting for them to tell me about 3-6 weeks as I have ordered things online before and it usually takes a bit for things to arrive. They told me that it shouldnt take that long that I should expect my game to arrive in the mail within three weeks. About a month goes by and no game had arrived to me and I start to get concerned at this point I called the store and I get this nice lady on the phone and asked about my game if it had arrived. She goes to tell me that it had arrived a few weeks ago and that they had not figured out how to send it to me yet. I was so baffled by her response that I didnt know what to say. She said she could talk to her boss and ask she also asked that I could come and pick it up. I told her not to mail it at that point that I would just come by and pick up my game as I would be going to town soon and I hung up the phone. Once I arrived at the store to pick up my card game I was received by two young adults a male and female both very nice people and asked for my game. She was like oh yes she put the card game on the counter and proceeds to go to the cash register to ring up the game. I gave her this look and tell her umm... I already paid for this game , she was like oh yes Im sorry I get my game and I walked out. If i would have not said anything she would have charged me for the game again. I did not receive a phone call that my game had arrived. I believe that this store would have ripped me off for my money if I would have forgotten I had bought this game or forgotten I had pre-paid. As nice as the people are or seem that they are I will not support this store again!!!! Not a happy camper!!!

Attended a cider tasting at The Fox & Fable with my friend Emily. Emily and her husband Jason are regulars there. I had a wonderful time and discovered they have a regular beer tasting club. The host Richard, who also happens to be one of the owners, was very attentive to the attendees and let the guest speakers run the show. I had a wonderful time and will be back.

Excellent food, good for late evening studying, unique soda selection, and gender neutral bathrooms. Love it here, my favourite spot for studying for midterms. Planning on making good use of the book and game selection this summer!

I had no idea this little place existed until today. So I went. I highly recommend it. The Cappuccino was excellent!! I tried the curried butternut squash soup, which was delicious, and the fresh scones were really good. I didnt have time to play the games, but I love this idea and cant wait to go back with a group of friends!!!

Went here with some buddies, and its a great place to hang out. Nice environment, lots of games available to cater to any preference. Food prices are a little high, but reasonable. They have a good selection of craft beers as well.

I love this little place, the entry fee is 5$ and you get to stay for as long as you want. Its a little intimidating when you walk in at first because you dont really know what youre allowed to do. Bring some friends, grab a board game off the shelf and enjoy yourself. They have a cafe in the front with a hefty selection of drinks, pastries, food, snacks and candy. So much fun and you could spend all day there. The people who work at Fox and Fable are passionate about table top games and love where theyre working, and it shows.

Fantastic place to play some boardgames games and have a beer. Can even go for just coffee, which is nice because its open when most other local coffee shops are closed.

Although we only popped in to see what it was like, I found the set up and ammenaties impressive. I would definitely return to enjoy at greater length.

Great place for our family to have a snack and play games! I was thankful there was a toddler play area in the corner so my 3 year old could keep busy while we played board games.
