Exellent service and excellent food. Will definitely return.
I grew up with Smitty's. I have always loved them. They've been slowly diminishing. However, this was one of my worst experiences. My partner ordered eggs Sunny side up. They came out scrambled. I asked for hot sauce. It came after I finished my plate. There were a few other items, all minor. We mentioned this to the waitress. She showed where she wrote down scrambled eggs. We go to Denny's a lot and have never ordered scrambled. This was just a royal screw up. She took off our drinks on the order (coffee and orange juice). I'm not sure if it was the waitress, this location, or Smitty's in general, but they have ruined my childhood memory of them. I'm not sure I'll go to Smitty's again, ever.
Butter Chicken Rice Bowl was awesome! Just wish it was more authentic, with cashews, dried raisins, and almonds, instead of green pepper and mushrooms.
We had a young girl serve us and she was one of the best we've had anywhere in a long time. There was another girl who had literally just started who was also amazing!! The chef made my eggs exactly how I wanted them!! Everyone was awesome and next time we're in town we will be stopping in again!!
The place was packed when we arrived and continued throughout the time we were there. The staff were very very efficient and the food was amazing. It was sure nice having traditional food that was delicious 😋. Loved the atmosphere and the restaurant was beautiful. We will be back as our group gets together in different towns and smaller cities every 6 weeks for lunch. There's usually 9 of us. Great place to meet and eat.
It was my first time in a place like this and my friends fulfilled me a huge wish: pancakes for breakfast while taking a roadtrip. I absolutely loved it. This place nailed the soft pancakes, you have mini peanut butter, strawberry-jam and butter on the table and the waitress was the loveliest girl ever and very attentive. The portion sizes are amazing and I was full for the rest if the day. Big plus goes for the free coffee refills. Place itself and the washrooms are very clean and prices are good. Three people with 20% tipping paid around 65 Canadian Dollars in total. Can't complain at all.

Scrambled eggs were overcooked, dry and thin, slice of orange looked like it was left exposed to air for a week, fruit cup looked like it was cut few days ago since the fruit looked like it was disintegrating. Hollandaise was split Poached eggs were done perfect medium, hash browns were cooked nicely and bacon was cooked crisp but still slightly chewy Service: seemed a little short staffed as we waited at the front to be seated for a few minutes but once we were sat it was good. Coffee was always topped off and we were always brought things in a timely manor. Atmosphere: fish tank in center is really cool. Decor is a little dated thou. Visited again, and had a great time! They have opened up GEO's for breakfast making it much easier to get a table - gross also has comfier tables/chairs. Same great food, and tons of coffee. Smitty's is my go to for comfort breakfast food.

Called to book a large table for my moms bday. They were amazing! Booked the private back room, let me give final numbers the day before, let me bring my own cake, and on top of that they were super friendly and the service was excellent!! Highly recommend!

Camrose is a silver town and there are a lot of white people, so it felt a little burdensome to get all the attention and attention, but the restaurant atmosphere, food, and prices were all okay. Be sure to try the pancakes!
Wonderfully service provided by William, he made sure we were taken care of and respectfully handled the situation when I wasnt a fan of my food. Thank you William. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Hardly no cheese in omelets. Bacon should be in omelets not on side. Temperature was Luke warm not hot. Seemed like we were bothering the server.

Our server was amazing. We were a table of 7. All arrived at different times, so she was at our table a lot. There were nachos , coffees, ice teas,sprites, beer, .and water... that kept being refilled. Our meals were brought hot..and together thanks to helping hands of other staff. So happy to see fettuccine and meatballs ... Disappointed it was not the sauce from spaghetti years. Our dinner Was Topped with desert. For 4 of us.. .. Mini donuts and cheesecake. Bills were split into three. If this helps narrow who served us. She earned her tips that day. Sorry I did not catch your name.... But this was Thurs July 20 2023 5 pm ...

My family and I have been going here ever since we moved the Camrose. I always order the same meal even though its not on the menu.
There were a lot of people for breakfast. This was our first time. It was a full house but every table was accomodated accordingly. We had 3 celebrants on our table (we were a group of 10) and our server was amazing! She was very attentive on our orders and smiled at everyone in the lounge. Thank u very much for the very positive experience! :)

There was a lot of food for a senior but very tasty.
Waited 15 min after seated nobody even asked what drinks we wanted. Ordered steak got hamburger with mashed potatoes mushrooms raw onions garlic bread and vegetables. Not awesome when you go out expecting steak. Not a burger you eat with fork. Think this place will just be a breakfast stop in the future.

Service was very polite and happy but forgot several things. Over all will probably return.
We had Helena as our server. She was very pushy, rushed our ordering. Didnt come back to check on us after we got our food. We also had to ask another server for extras. Overall not happy with the service.
It was busy and a bit loud for hearing impaired. Waitress was good but just a bit abrupt.
We came in today for breakfast. We ordered our food, and sat for 45 minutes, watching tables that came in after us get served their food. We told our server several times that we were in a hurry, as we were on our way to a funeral service. We sat for an additional 5 minutes before we decided to walk out. No apologies from them, either. Absolutely disgusting!
Not sure why but everytime I eat here my food really sucks . Had steak one time it had gone bad!!!! I am a cook of many years this used to be a good place many years ago but not no more ... I would strongly recommend NOT EATING HERE !!!!

If you are a special needs family, I highly suggest finding somewhere else to eat. They will do everything to get you out asap.
Camrose Smittys went from 5 stars to 1 star under new management. I have been a regular here for over 10 years. Today was my first time eating here again since before the pandemic. I was very surprised at how bad the food was because Ive always had a quality breakfast here before. The sausages were not real cased sausages like before, they were literally hotel sausages and that is not an exaggeration like literally sausages you get from a free hotel breakfast. Everything else was sub par and expensive for what you get. When I asked the server what happened, they said the original owner had sold the business to someone else in October. That made total sense because the original owner would never have sent out that garbage. The new owner just had to manage this business the exact same but they decided to cut costs, raise prices and send out terrible food to line their own pockets. Camrose Humptys will be our new breakfast place from now on.

If I could give 0 stars I would I went in with my family to have a nice brunch but we stood at the entrance for more than 10 minutes with 2 different waitresses walking by us and not greeting us or anything I will not be returning and would like the owners information

We came to Canmore for a day trip. Our server, Ryan (Tyler?) was amazing! Very patient with the elderly folks who were asking for substitutions. Great service, and the food was very good.

The staff was awesome and were very professional and fast. The young girl got all 7 of our orders correct and she made sure we all had everything we needed and wanted, especially for the young kids including making sure our glasses never went empty. We enjoyed our first outing since covid 19 a memorable one! Thanks you smittys and thank you especially to our young waitress for making our night a special one...
