East Side Mario's in Camrose

Loved all the food. Salad was mediocre. Service was great though. Was not satisfied with a dish and waitress took care of it.

Our waitress Danielle was amazing!!!! She told us all about the delicious food and drink choices, she was super friendly and attentive to our son who was being fussy. It appears that she really enjoys her job and goes over and above what is expected of a server. If its time for her to get a raise; I suggest that she gets a big one. She is AWESOME at her job and your establishment is lucky to have her. We will definitely come back and ask to be seated in her section again. Also the food she suggested was delicious!!!

I have been to this East Side Marios quite a few times, and every time the food & service has been amazing!!! One of my favourite restaurants in Camrose

Havent been there in a while. Menu has changed winter with my daughter and my grandson for lunch atmosphere is great it was just after rush hour and service was phenomenal.

Mianna was very sweet and personable. Had great suggestions and made sure we were well taken care of and made the best of our time here. Kid-friendliness: We have taken our toddler and baby here on multiple occasions and we re accommodated with the appropriate seating and service was extra friendly with us and our kid

Want to give a huge shout out to Michelle for the amazing service! I was so impressed off the hop, that I commented that she knew what she s doing, she must be a manager. As a former restaurant manager, it was apparent. From start to finish, service was amazing, food was delicious. My only complaint was a bit of rusty and a bit of soggy lettuce, but I wouldn t even take away half a star for that seeing as that was the only complaint between service, food, atmosphere etc in the two nights we were there. Amazing service and delicious food often outshine the small things. Thank you so much for a pleasurable experience East Side Mario s Camrose team! We have a tradition of making the stop every time we come through from Grande Prairie! I just wanted to edit as I can t leave another review but here we are, 10months later, visiting Camerose again from Grande Prairie! Of course we had to stop in for once again another delicious dinner at East Side Mario s and we were of course served by our favourite, Michelle! Our party of nine was not disappointed one bit with the delicious food, (Hawaiian pizza, Canadian pizza, and meat pizza, kids chicken nuggets and soups/salads) delicious!! Service was top notch as per usual, any and all interactions with the servers from start to finish were positive. Excellent service now a days is more miss than hit and that s why I can not praise Michelle enough. Always positive, helpful, on top of refills etc. I can t recommend this restaurant enough. If ever in the area, pop in, you won t be disappointed. (Well, we haven t been in the past years and numerous visits we ve had here!) thanks East side Mario s team and of course our favourite, Michelle!

Grace was a great server on our Tuesday night out! Our drinks, appies and food came out super fast and Grace was attentive and friendly making our visit fantastic!

Might want to just remove steak and fries from menu if going to microwave meat and serve undercooked fries. My fault for ordering steak at a pasta restaurant though. Ate two bites of both and was not reimbursed or even offered a reimbursement.

Its the east side Marios you remember, prices have gotten a fair bit higher but its probably exactly as you remember, this is no 5 star experience, but your kids will like it Im sure

The chef made my food a little extra special with loads of goat cheese! We loved the pizza as well and as always the salad was fresh with good dressing. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming.

You guys have great food and atmosphere, but I am curious I remember when I was a little kid you guys had a wacked out policy that kids where not allowed on the patio do you still have that, thats what got my family band from the one that used to be in south Edmonton, it was embarrassing.

Had a great night out with good food and good service. Will be going again and again. The staff was nice enough to grab us a chair to set the infant car seat at the end of our booth. We had solid meals all around and no complaints.

Whenever we come here with family, I usually order the Calzone. They have the fettuccine, spaghetti and the lasagne. The portions are super filling and always hot, Unicorn drink is really good. Attentive and kind service. They have many TVs for viewing the hockey games, or other channels. Bathrooms and public areas are clean, even when dirty they are cleaned promptly. Will visit again.

Great chicken, Parmesan, and side salad a problem was with the delivery. I ordered for a hotel room of 105 which shows on my receipt but on the third-party receipt it shows on 104.

The Good: the free bread that they bring you was really good, the Caesar salad was really good, and my daughter really enjoyed her shrimp Alfredo dish. The bad: it took forever to get the unlimited salad, bread, soup, and drink refills I think the waitress was over worked and it looked like she was the only waitress on our half of the restaurant. When she would come by I felt like she was running and you couldn t ask for everything you wanted at one time. My nephew ordered a special drink on the kids meal it was way to sour, my daughters aunt order a Violet, lemonade it tasted like water at first they remade it, and it taste like powdery drink mix. The chicken, Parm, and spaghetti with meatballs with a horrible taste like a frozen dinner from great value Walmart! On top of that the chicken Parm is 25 bucks and the spaghetti with meatballs I think it s around $21 which is super expensive for something from great value walmart and it was gross!! They ended up making pizza instead and it was actually really good pizza and on Mondays the pizza is only $10!

Enjoyed the good food this evening, Michelle our server was amazing, very polite, was prompt taking our order and made sure that our drinks were never empty. Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp was ice and snow free so people in wheelchairs didnt have difficulty entering the restaurant.

We were sat at grossly dirty table. My partners drink had moldy vegetables in it and was just Tabasco and water. My food didnt have sauce. Everything that was served was cold. Just horrible service. Will not be returning again. Dietary restrictions: Their gluten free options cannot be guaranteed as gluten free as the risk of contamination is high. We chose this restraunt since it claimed to have gluten free options. Were very sadden when only half the table could order food.

I actually really enjoyed the food. I was disappointed with the treatment. I was wondering why the waitress was being so weird to us. Then when I asked for the bill at the end she said No dessert? and looked at us up and down. Then I realized she was fat shamming us I wish I didn t tip that s not okay.

Unfortunately had a not so great experience today, i had ordered the garlic chicken wings and ate one without realizing they were raw... the waitress and manager were so apologetic and comped my meal and offered me anything off the menu and free dessert and gave us a discount on our bill. I didnt take them up on any food because I had lost my appetite. The rest of my table had good meals! I really appreciate how the staff handled this. This is less of a complaint and more of a caution to others to look at the first bite of their food to make sure its fully cooked, I learned my lesson today, heres hoping I dont get sick because of it

Ordered take out service for the chicken Parm, it was great. We always look forward to having it with East Sides amazing tasty salad. This time the salad tasted & smelled like a bagged salad from the local grocery store. It wasnt even close to what ESMs usual salad tasted like. Whats happened to your great salads? Kind of reluctant to order again!

Got seated quickly, service was friendly and fast. Food was great. Had scallop carbonara, and my wife had the seafood linguini. Scallops were fresh and tender. Wife had a couple of pieces of shell in her pasta, but that fairly common with mussel shells. Its too bad our 3 kids werent so picky. Could have ordered one kids meal and split it amongst all 3.

Never disappoints in the 8 years weve been coming! The food is always outstanding! This was our first time back since the pandemic, and its even more amazing than it was before somehow! Waited 45 minutes for our Meal, the waitress did not come back to ask if we wanted drink refills or packages to box up our meals. Not happy

Waitress was friendly and helpful, loading up the Parmesan cheese on the wings, just cause it was my 5 year olds favorite.

The staff was incredible, but the food is disappointing. Not to mention I ordered a full sized salad and it was basically just a head of iceberg lettuce chopped up for an exorbitant cost, with a few sprinkles of carrot shreds and a couple slices of tomatoes and olives.

My husband and I hadnt been to Camrose in a bit. We decided on Marios for supper. I ordered lasagna. What I received was a pan of the sauce and melted cheese. Im pretty sure it said layers. I seen 2 small pieces of the pasta . This has been my favourite so feeling disappointed.

Overall great experience dinning in here. Only reason I gave 4 star is that their complementary garlic bread was very hard.

Our waitress Brooklyn, was great! Service was fast and friendly. Although $20.00 for a burger and fries is a little steep.

We had Kaitlin as a server and she was excellent! She was great with the kids, very attentive and a cheerful attitude.

Great friendly service but our drinks took forever to come and the ceaser salad had little to no dressing on it but my server quickly brought me a side of dressing and the problem was fixed!

The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious and came out fast! My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back soon

Great place to take kids too and they can just be themselves!Parents/ grandparents can relax as a family together!... Not like other restaurants where the kids are always being told to be quiet and sit still.. Eastside makes it so much fun for all ages to have fun at..

There was a great vibe! We had a late supper and were happy to find they were open until 10pm on a Sunday. Food was great, kids were very excited about the speciality drinks.

The food was good. Love the SOUP! Which was all you can eat they said, depends on which type of menu you pick. The system was a bit different. You have to empty before you get other one and you can order soup and salad same time either.. unless you demand for it. The place could use upgrade a bit that shows wear and tears. Just a bit of adjustment and upgrade would make this place nicer. We will go back again.

Went for lunch with family on a weekday. Plenty of seating available, service was fast and patient with the small children.

It has been a few months since we have eaten out and this experience made me want to cook more at home. Right out of the gate we sat down and waited at least 10 minutes for a drink (my partner said it was more). I ordered a starter with the drink order, calamari, a quick to serve dish. so we ordered our mains got our salad and 3/4 of the way through the salad I had to ask for our starter. This is one of our go to restaurants because its always on point I was very surprised at what was happening. The starter came out and was charred beyond eatability, first time ever seeing this with that dish. Moving on supper came and the food was good, unfortunately waited until the main dish was done before we got salad to enjoy with the meal. They did take the starter off the bill and gave a complimentary dessert, but once dinner was done, sat and waited to pay long enough to finally chase the waitress down so we could leave, upset and frustrated at one of our favourite restaurants.

Usually a good experience but not today! I found a piece of tinfoil in my meal (and anybody who has ever bit on tinfoil knows how horrible that is on the teeth). I showed the waitress who took it to the kitchen to show the chef and then came out to say the cook says sorry. No discount, nothing. Personally I think the owner/manager should have at least come over to chat but he was too busy chatting with another man at the door. The meal itself was only mediocre, probably will not be returning unfortunately as this is usually a good place to dine.

Pretty good food and great service from our waitress Caitlyn. Lots of options if you like pasta and carbs essentially. :) Ive noticed prices have increased as lots of pasta dishes that come with free soup and salad are approximately $17. And to note, my husband didnt love his rigatoni peppercorn alfredo but I adored my order of creamy pesto prosciutto penne pasta. I have two things Id give as feedback. First, the restaurant is always freezing, especially near the windows. My whole family was too cold. Second, with the bread was tasteless margarine. I miss the real butter you used to serve (or whatever it was).

Ordered from daughters cell tonight for 6pm but was delivered at 5:12pm. Got soups instead of the salads we ordered. Pasta had excess water in bottom of container. Not the usual standard weve had before!

Service & food were good. I had the chicken club wrap and was a bit disappointed to see that on one half, quite a bit of the cheese & tomato had fallen out & was embedded into the tortilla. While my wrap as still edible, it made it soggy to eat. Overall a good ESM, the kitchen just needs to be a bit tidier with food presentation.

Italian wedding soup, tomatoe basil soup good. Chicken wrap eatable. Make your own pasta good. Salad good
