Really yummy food. Good portions and great service
We had a wonderful dining experience. Our host, Sameer was exceptional! He went out of his way to be sure we were well cared for. Friendly atmosphere. Ambience was relaxing. Food was great! We had grilled chicken and salmon, which was juicy. The Salisbury steak was very tender and the vegetables were tasty, not hard. Seafood lasagna really good as well as the butter chicken. Sameer visited with us and made us laugh, which added to this pleasant evening. We definitely will be coming back again! Thank you!! - D.Ball
My wife and were visiting Camrose and stopped in for a casual meal. We were pleasantly surprised with a great meal and exceptional service. Sameer is an excellent host and the chef out did himself with great food food. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Camrose!
This place was so much better before these new people took it over. My pizza was awful and tasteless. A Hawaiian with bacon- on the entire pizza there wasn't even 10 pineapple bits, the bacon was hard dry and tasteless, the ham tasted old. There was more bacon added than pineapple. There was more cheese than crust or toppings (or lack There of), I understand some people like lots of cheese, but there's a balance and that balance was not anywhere near being close. "Nobody has complained about our pizzas"-theyve obviously never had camrose pizza, Boston pizza, poppa John's, domino's, pizza hut, literally anywhere else. Told them I was disappointed and why, a whole $3.20 discount 🙄 The veal cutlet was okay, kind of soggy, kind of an oil taste, but could have been worse. The stuffed potato was good, and the vegetables were cooked nicely. So at least it wasn't a complete disappointment. Definitely NOT worth the prices though! This is a business that I will not return to.
This restaurant used to be closed several days a week. They are now open 7 days a week, they have new owners. I had the butter chicken which was by far the best I've ever had! It was so creamy I couldn't get enough. My mother had the chicken parmesan, it was delicious. My dad had the veal cutlet with the choice of gravy, mushroom gravy or alfredo sauce. We also included tea with our meals. I had the chai tea latte which was delicious. Overall the experience at this restaurant has completely changed. They have added more to the menu, the service was great and we all left full and happy. I also took pasta to go because they have a deal on Tuesdays where you buy one pasta and get the other one half off. I can't wait to see how the pasta is. I also get to try their freshly made tomato because it comes with the meals. All the soups and sauces are made from scratch. Highly recommended⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really enjoyed our visit today. The ambiance is great and the restaurant is clean and well lit. More than that the food is what makes the restaurant and the food here was tasty and served hot. I really enjoyed my food. I had the sweet chilli sausage penne dish and it was awesome. If I’m ever back in Camrose I will definitely go again.
This is my families favourite restaurant! Always amazing. The salmon with dill sauce is absolutely FANTASTIC everytime. They have a delish seafood pasta! The veal is GREAT too. A really good burger! And the kid loves the chicky fingers! Always a peaceful atmosphere and great staff. Will always be our go to place!
Food: The menu here is somewhat dated like something I would see in culinary school as an example of a older restaurant menu. The food was decent but nothing really stood out. The escargot were really small and underseasoned while the garlic toast was soggy on both occasions. The chicken cordon was done really nicely and so was the pasta. The pizza bread tasted pretty good too. Service: Our server seemed a little distracted even though we were the only table most of the night. Multiple trips were made to our table for our order to be taken because she was not prepared. When it came time to pay, we still had to wait at the front desk even though she saw us get up and put our coats on. Atmosphere: Warm and cozy little restaurant which kind of goes with the menu. It has the feel of what a fancy restaurant would have been a few years back.
Excellent service and food.
Good lunch .. food was delicious and hot when it arrived. The food service was slow today. The server handled it well - shorthanded in kitchen. The price for quality was great.

Beware the new owners will not honour previous gift certificates from previous owners. Feels like theft of $150 to us. Won t be dining here again, which is too bad, because you like to see small businesses in our community thrive. Being told you should have come sooner as a response, was insulting and not a great way to ensure future business. The pizza was also not as good as before.

Horrible experience, I ordered a burger and it came out bloody. Sent it back & asked for it Well done. It came back, cut it in half and it was more bloody than the 1st one! Didn t eat a bite, the owner wouldn t discount, I was charged full price for 2 bloody inedible burgers.
Super friendly staff. Amazing meal. Beautiful atmosphere. Prices not over the top for portions and quality of food. You wont be disappointed!

I ve been lucky enough to go to the Monte Cristo twice and it is incredible. The staff is lovely, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was unbelievably good. Compared to the other restaurants of its type it almost seems too good to be true. I am so grateful for the wonderful experience and I hope I ll be able to visit more.
I had not been there in a long time. However really enjoyed our outing there. Food was great and waiting time for our orders was reasonable. Service was great and always with a smile. Will definitely be back when back in Camrose!
We had not eaten here for sometime. Wife and I decided to visit for my birthday and was excellent. Wife had Chicken parm and I had pork soulvaki both were very good. Serving size lets just say leftover for supper tomorrow night. Service was very good as well. Will not wait as long to return.

Great food; was a little long of a wait for entrees but it was fairly busy at the time. The restaurant is nice, I personally like more light, but I see why people like going. Will definitely go again.

The place itself has a nice cozy vibe but the food was horrible. The servings were very generous. I got souvlaki and the chicken was hard and chewey, the potatoes had 0 flavour and the pasta was about the same. The dessert brownie was kinda meh. The restaurant looks good, food looks good but everything only looks good. I had higher hopes too cause Ive heard a lot of good things about the place but was disappointed with the taste. Might go back for the ambience but not for the food.

The business has sold. Ordered pizza and won^t be back. Burnt crust not the same great taste I have eaten at Monte Carlo Camrose. It was the best but last night it tasted like cardboard and no more specials. After 25 years of awesome food but not last night .
This used to be our favourite place in Camrose. Soup was a little thin. Our stuffed potato was like a gluey consistency small mound of goo. They used to be yummy and browned. Steak was okay ,dessert was good. Didnt leave an impression that we need to come back soon

Atmosphere was nice. The carrots were horrible. Tasteless and undercooked. Chicken breast was dry and tough. There wasnt enough sauce on it to make it edible. The chocolate brownie dessert was delicious. I did not like the big cup for my tea. Cooled off too fast. The hostess asked us if we had paid or was it a dine and dash. As 80 year Olds we werent dashing anywhere. It was insulting. Not even a thank you or come again. I was not impressed and have no plans of returning.
Absolutely delicious and hot . Lovely waitresses and most of all, the next day I realized I forgot a legal document. When I called to enquire they could not find it but actually ran over to liquor store and discovered I left it there. When I offered a tip for their help it was respectfully declined.
Have been getting a Greek salad 3 to 4 times a month for takeout. Nice big pieces with Kalamata olives and good quality of ingredients. Ordered on Wednesday for first time with new owners. first thing is it s half the size maybe smaller. Black olives instead of advertised Kalamata olives everything else is cut razor thin. Not even close to the original. Very disappointed but not surprised. Had one of the best now same as you can find at any fast food place.

Tried to order take out at 430 Saturday. Not sure if it was a waitress or the owner that answered the phone, but as soon as I stated I would like to order for pick up, they literally WHINED that they are about to have a full restaurant and cant handle a pick up order. Ok then. Maybe dont advertise and run take out specials if you are not willing. Guess they dont want or need the business. Definitely wont be wasting my time on Montes again. How disappointing.

The best house salad dressing
A friend and I, in a spur of the moment decision, stopped in at Monte Carlo restaurant August 4th. From an unassuming but neat and pleasant exterior and entry, we were guided to our table by a welcoming hostess. This is the point anything ordinary about this restaurant ends, with extraordinary rising quickly to the forefront. The interior is tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable but yet elegant ambiance for dining. An extensive and incredibly varied menu made it difficult to decide on a choice for dinner, with each as tempting and delicious sounding as the other. Prices were more than competitive. In addition there were drink and dessert menus equally as impressive. The meal, tabled very quickly after ordered, did not disappoint, but in fact exceeded in every way its description. Portions were generous, appearance attractive and it was simply delicious. All ingredients were fresh, perfectly cooked and served nice and hot. We chose to have dessert only because of its so tempting description and again were grateful we did. We will be back and with us will be guests we confidently treat to an exceptional restaurant dining experience!
Had dinner there last night. The service was good and food even better. So much to choose from but decided on the seafood lasagna. Had to pack some up to go and no room for dessert unfortunately. Highly recommended.

Good filling food with lovely wait staff. Went with a large group and they were very accommodating for our changed numbers and attentive to any needs throughout the meal. Make sure to check their hours for the day of the week you want to go as they do change throughout the week.

My husband and I went for dinner, we were greeted by a shabby hostess who did not seem interested in greeting guests, she walked us half way to our table then pointed, saying over there, in the corner, and walked away, not a great start but not a deal breaker. My husband ordered the steak with mushrooms, the mushrooms were so over salted they were not edible. The Manager? was argumentative about them being salty claiming it was a different way of cooking them that maybe we are not familiar with. Neither here nor there, it left us feeling unheard and disregarded. No adjustment was made to our bill, not that we expected it, however the problem could have been managed by at least saying she would look into the saltiness of the mushrooms with the chef. Will we be back? Not for a very long time. Hopefully they learn to respect their patrons.

I had a dinner meeting here and was able to meet at a corner table. All five of us enjoyed our meals and found them to be quite filling and tasty.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Have ordered out from here a few times before and very happy with the staff and food. Today was the best experience I have had with any restaurant in Camrose. From calling in to place the order to picking it up the staff were very friendly and genuine. The food was outstanding. Cooked perfect, seasoned perfect, still warm. And great portions. The icing on the cake...50% off the bill! Not certain why the discount...but a very nice surprise. Definitely going back. My new favorite restaurant in Camrose.

Took my wife there for a romantic 10 year anniversary supper. The staff was friendly and the owner went above and beyond to add flowers to our table, and put us near the fireplace. The food was also amazing.

Have been going to Monte Carlo regularly since new owner took over. Went for lunch the other day & could not believe this! Hostess escorted us to our table, poured our water & said our waitress would be right with us. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting to be served ( we only had a hour & they werent busy). Other customers came in, were served by the hostess while we sat there. Finally we got the hostess attention, she took our orders, never asked if we would like a beverage or any thing else. Rudely walked away then when she bought our meals she put them on the table & walked away without a word spoken. Never came back to the table to check if everything was all right. We only had time to eat part of our meals, had to wave our arms to get her attention to get our bill & take out containers. Not sure if we will be going back there in the future. Only good thing was, the food was good as usual.

Mine and my husbands soft drink had a terrible aftertaste and had to be sent back, the food was nothing to get excited about, average. The waitress was not very friendly. Would not go back.

The onion soup is to die for here! I had the lasagna, it was awesome, my wife had the prime rib, the meat was amazing (slightly over cooked to what she ordered) but the mashed potatoes were dry and the vegetables were over cooked and bland. All in all, the food was good with some small tweaks, we will definitely come again
Great staff, good food, good service. Awesome place! Love it a whole lot more since the new owners took over and upgraded a bit. Huge menu. Lots of seating. The only issue I have is the terrible parking lot and lack of parking. Otherwise great local place to go socialize and eat!!
